After just moving into a new place, I realized the A/C was out and the interior of the home was holding at 95. They were able to come out at a time that worked well for me. Dylan was very kind, polite and professional and had the issue addressed very quickly. He stuck around to make sure the house was cooling as it should and let me know that if I had any questions or concerns that I could reach out to him. Thank you so much for your punctuality, professionalism and expertise!
My husband and I had issues with our AC unit not working properly. The unit was less than a year old so we called the warranty company and they gave us Harris Services contact information. We called and scheduled an appointment. A tech came out here December 30th 2021 to check the unit. We were charged $85 dollars for the A/C service fee, leak check $25, level unit $45, labor to add refrigerant $45 plus 3 lbs of refrigerant which was $150. This ended up costing us $350 dollars total. The same day, I called Harris Services to figure out why we were being charged for the repair as we thought it would be covered by the warranty. We were told their services/labor was not covered since they hadn’t installed the A/C unit at our house. I was frustrated to pay that much money however, after this call we figured we would just absorb the cost since the A/C was fixed and we wouldn’t have to worry about it not working properly anymore. This week (2/1/2022) a month after the first visit, my husband called Harris Services again and scheduled another appointment since he wanted to have all electrical checked as he had made some changes in the attic and wanted to ensure everything was installed properly. Another tech came out and said we had a leak. We were told he could repair the leak however, it would cost us another $400 plus the service fee which was $90. I was extremely frustrated as this was something the first tech supposedly checked for. It is unbelievable that this company was willing to charge us for something it should have been fixed on the first place to begin with. In the end of the day we paid this company for just adding coolant/refrigerant to a system that had a leak in it. This was was not cheap at all. They took $440 dollars from us without actually fixing the root cause.
Impressed by owner and his employee Dylan. Weve experienced little luck with getting many problems with new home fixed. Not so with this company. The professionalism and helpfulness displayed by this company was a welcome surprise after some of the issues weve faced with other companies.Thank you.
