Next Gen Air

It’s been 3 years now since I Next Gen Air replaced my whole system for $10k. It’s still working perfect. Thank you!

I have new home and I’ve seen other A/C techs cringe when you say it’s too hot on this side of house not hot enough the other. These guys made me feel heard and actually found an issue. I appreciate the prompt response and professionalism

I called Next Gen Air to fix my Air conditioner. They gave me a next day appointment at 8 am. They were very prompt. They explained all that was wrong in great detail and fixed it. Very kind, knowledgeable workers. I will continue using them and recommending them. I love that if you call them they promptly call you back.

Josh and Justin were exceptional in their knowledge and service. Justin broke down the issues we were having so a layman such as myself could understand. Highly reccomend and will be using them for the foreseeable future.

Had a service appointment scheduled through my home warranty and Next Gen Air was dispatched. The techs were on time, knowledgeable, kind and took time to explain the issues I was having in laymans terms. Really grateful to have a warm home again. Many thanks to Justin and Nathan who provided exceptional service for me and went above and beyond to troubleshoot my issues. And, gotta love techs who clean up after themselves!

Robert arrived early. He checked the upstairs unit. It was OK. Went outside and examined unit, made a few tweaks, everything worked out. He was Great!

We have been using Next Gen Air for six years. We have purchased five AC/furnace units and three tankless water heaters across three properties. They stand behind their products, warranty and service and always do it with a smile and great conversations. Truly a genuine company, with traditional values, and they are always a pleasure to work with.

Awesome company. Called them when another company lied and told me i had a refrigerant leak and it was going to be over 1000 to fix. Next Gen Air came out and told me it was fine. Im glad I found them. So far Robert been really nice to work with. They dont seem like a company that will tell you something is broke when its not. Thanks Next Gen Air... cya in the spring.

Next Gen Air technicians arrived on time and fixed my issue, while also explaining what they were doing. They gave me insight into my Ecobee thermostat that I hadn’t seen online, I really appreciate this type of customer service and will gladly recommend them moving forward. Also to note, they hire and support our Country’s Veterans, which to me says alot about what’s important to the Company, Customer Service and Patriotism.

Wow just had the best experience with Next Gen Air! They were able to come out fast and were here when promised. Chris was very professional and explained the problem. We were so impressed with the service! We were convinced we would have to replace our old AC unit. Turns out we just needed a part replaced. Love a good honest company that just does the work that is needed! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

* I had previously given this company a great review because I thought they had fixed my AC issue. Turns out, the next day my system went out again. It was out for over three weeks, with them returning 6-8 times to replace or repair something else. The techs that came were all very nice and respectful, but I dont feel like the customer service from those who answer the phone was good at all. I also asked multiple times to speak to the owner - I was told each time that he wasnt available but hed call me back. I never received a phone call from him. They finally said theres nothing else that can be done to my system and it should be working fine. I had to get a different company involved and they were able to get the job done.Next Gen Air did a fantastic job with my AC repair. Justin was professional, on time, informative and Id use them again in a heartbeat. Ive recommended them to others many times.

I’m very impressed with this company, their communication from scheduling to pricing to when the tech was on his way was AMAZING! Justin was our tech today and he was very professional and was able to educate me on steps we can take moving forward. Chris and Len were both phenomenal! They came to install my heater and went beyond all my expectations. They were both professional yet so nice, even loved on my dog before I put him in his crate. I just moved into a brand new construction home and after three weeks, the AC stopped working. Next Gen Air came out the next day and within 10 minutes had the unit back up and running. The tech that came out was incredibly nice and explained what happened. I would definitely use them again.

I can’t think of anything they could have done to improve on quality, responsiveness, and professionalism. Always prompt and go out of their way to make sure we have a great customer experience and they get the job done right the first time. Really like how Josh the owner is willing to show up if all other techs are busy. He explains the science behind the system to help us understand why the issue is happening so we know what signs to watch for in the future to prevent possibly more extensive damages

Woke up this morning during a freeze with my heater out!! Called and they were able to squeeze us in today! Came out and COULD have up-charged us with some repairs we didnt need, but they didnt. Found the ACTUAL issue and fixed the problem. Saved us money in the end. They will be our first call from now on!!

Great experience. The Next Gen Air tech diagnosed our problem and got us setup for repairs quickly. While we needed to replace the unit, it was scheduled and done quickly to get us back in operation. This is a great team to work with and recommend using them for any AC needs.

The staff with NextGen went above and beyond to ensure my a/c units were cleaning and functioning properly. They were timely and communicated effectively. I would definitely recommend their services!

Justin did an awesome job. Very personable and professional. I called Next Gen Air about my heat going out, and Justin was at our door in under 2 hours. He was able to bypass the faulty part in under 30 minutes to get us heat while they order a replacement. I would definitely recommend Next Gen Air.Update: Justin came back out a week later for an unrelated problem and had it diagnosed in just 10 minutes. Next Gen Air is great to do business with.

My AC unit went out this past July when it was very hot. Next Gen Air got me a wonderful new unit and got it installed in the same day. They came out to do a check up and the technicians were great. Everyone I have dealt with has been awesome to work with. Thomas has called to make sure things are all good. Their pricing, AC/heat unit and their service is top notch. I have recommended their company to many people. Thank you for your great service. That is hard to find these days and your company NAILED IT!

Next Gen Air. Outstanding experience with J.V. and his crew. Excellent on-site HVAC evaluation; excellent price comparison process. My technician Justin, was the best Ive ever seen. Super fast, polite, and personable. Was here within 45 min of my call to their shop. You cant even get a pizza that fast. Chris From Next Gen came to service my homes central AC and he was fantastic! Very honest, realistic and knowledgeable. He was in and out and got the job done, right. I had ARS perform the tune up initially and I wish I had Chris from Next Gen do it. I learned very quickly Chris and Next Gen care about their customers and treat them right.

Robert, with Next Gen Air, came to our house today to take a look at our broken heater. He was absolutely wonderful! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Our system is older, so probably not the easiest thing to work on, but he got everything fixed and up and running like new! Next Gen Air has done an exceptional job servicing my A/C units. Ive had them work on my units on 3 different occasions. All 3 were completed in a timely manner and solved the issue. My systems are 14 years old and they have been able to keep them running in great shape with minimal repairs. They go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with their work and customer service. Ive had experiences with multiple departments including accounting, scheduling and the technicians. Words cannot express my gratitude to NextGen for their generosity! I own a non profit in Fort Worth. I called NextGen out for a quote on installing 2 5 ton units in our warehouse. I expected to pay full price for installation, parts and labor. Within 15 minutes of walking through our warehouse, JV told me that NextGen was donating everything! It was such a blessing!!. On 10/12/2020 I called Next Gen Air regarding an A/C issue and they were very prompt with sending Cody to my home within 2 hours to evaluate the problem. Cody arrived on time and was very professional and efficient with diagnosing the problem and repairing the issue. This was our second encounter with this business and we have been very pleased with their service. I highly recommend them.

Amazing service. Thoroughly impress how quickly I was able to be scheduled. DJ was awesome. He seems to have solved an issue even the original installer could not. Our humidity upstairs was reading 72%! Since his visit it’s down to 56% within just a few hours. He even called a few hours after his visit to check and see how it was doing. I highly recommend DJ and Next Gen.

I really cant even put into words how Chris beyond exceeded my expectations today. I learned the hard way that my central heating went out, in the old house I just bought.I had a pretty pessimistic outlook on what to expect from the appointment. And was already trying to figure out how I was ever going to afford a new unit.Then Chris arrived early, and was met with my ancient heater and all the problems it entailed.After seeing I had small children in the home. Chris was genuinely concerned, asked how we were staying warm.. And, was absolutely determined to get it working. And didnt stop until he knew my babies could sleep warm tonight.After hours of his determination, my house is nice and warm.I can not thank him enough for being such a caring, professional, and kind guy.I 100% will be recommending this company and will be using them when the time comes to replace my system.Im pretty hard to impress. But, I was definitely impressed today with NextGen.

I had a Issue with a previous AC company that came to troubleshoot an issue we were having with cooling in the house. Chris was the technician that came out for the second opinion. he was very professional and gave me his thoughts on the system issues and let me know the new laws that are coming regarding R22 systems. after some discussion and talking with the sales lady and Chris, I decided to upgrade the system to R410a. The process was quick and easy and had approval within just a few mins. Lynn and his crew came for the install they did a fantastic job on the install and were very professional and clean. We had a couple small hurdles after the install nothing big but the people at Next Gen were right on top of it and handled everything. I cannot not express enough how satisfied I am with Chris, Lynn. and the entire staff at Next Gen. 10 out of 10 would recommend this company for service, professionalism and knowledge. A great company that stands behind there work!

Next Gen was recommended to me from some of my neighbors in Keller. The technicians were very knowledgeable and fixed my a/c issue along with a tune up in about 1 hour. They were on time, explained everything that they were doing, and most of all they were very kind and courteous. I will absolutely use them from now on for all my heating and air needs.

Let me start by saying my relationship started through a Home Warranty Company.Next Gen air came out and diagnosed the problem with my A/C unit. They took approximately 5 days to report the problem to the Home Warranty Company. They then charged me $1,100 dollars in out of pocket un-covered items at a 100%+ markup, while only charging the Home Warranty Company approximately $350 for parts and labor on installing an entire Air Handler Unit. I got quotes from other companies that were $2500-$4000 for an Air Handler replacement.I am told that contractors are ranked and will receive less work from the Warranty Company base on how much money they charge to the warranty company. This leads me to believe Next Gen Air is charging them way less than necessary while charging me more to make up for the actual cost of replacing an air handler.It should be noted that everyone I spoke with at Next Gen Air was extremely polite and professional. However - as long as they are doing business with a warranty company, which requires less than ethical actions, I cannot rate them above 2 stars.Edit: I have bumped the score up to 5 stars since they are moving away from the sketchy world of Home Warranty. The owner of this business is very down to Earth.-Jared

Len & Chris were the BEST!!!! We have had problems with our heater since we moved in 3 years ago, and I think we are finally fixed!!! They checked everything over again once they were done, just to make sure everything was working correctly. Highly recommend Next-Gen!!

Chris your service tech is excellent. Had our air up and running in 15 minutes. Good words about the company also. You scheduled us for the same day I called. I have MS and cant tolerate the heat and yall took that in consideration. If we have any more issues ( hopefully not) but I would request Chris every time. Thank you .

My AC went out during 100 degree weather. I called three other places and they couldn’t come out for a week. I called Next Gen and they said they’d send someone the next day. The tech that they sent out was named Justin. He worked for three long hours in the heat and still smiled. He said he would have to order a part. I was devastated. I can’t handle the heat and can’t afford a hotel room. He drove back to his office an hour away and got me a portable air conditioner. He said I could keep it until he got it fixed. He came back with the part two days later and had it fixed in no time. He was so upbeat and professional. I could tell he really cared. I want him to know how much I appreciate a young man with such empathy who takes such pride in his work in this day and age.

I had my heating system repaired this morning. Cody, the technician from Next Gen, was excellent. He was very kind and walked me through the problem and had it fixed in no time. I will definitely use them again!

After 5 trips to our house and many replacements of different parts I can say the issue appears to be resolved I wanted to give it a couples days or a week before I edited my review. first let me say all of the technicians that came out were kind and courteous. There was no issue with them more so with the timing it took to get the air up and running and the heat conditions we had to endure during the process. I will say after voicing my concerns Russell was very adamant about making sure our issues were fixed and we appreciate that. Thank you so much

Josh and his trainee were extremely professional and patience throughout the entire service and installation of our new compressor and smart thermostats. They gave us the options for repairs or replacement of our compressor without pressuring us to do one or the other. They were patience while I registered the thermostat and showed me how to use the thermostat and the app.Bobbie in the office was also extremely professional and helpful with the process of financing or new equipment. I would definitely recommend Next Gen Air.

Nexgen air is number one first class quality company. They really do go over and beyond in taking care of their customers. Their manager Russel is very customer /detail oriented. He was patient and answered all of my questions, concerns and inquiries in a timely manner. The staff is same. Its not about just getting the job done, but it’s about ensuring 100 percent customer satisfaction, and building long lasting relationships with their customers. I strongly recommend them.

I had next Gen Air come out today to work on my heating system and I met Cody Boyd A service technician for this company. I explained to Cody my current problem and he went to work and he got it fixed in no time at all. He explained the problem and if I had any questions he answered them. He picked up after himself like if he was never here. Its hard to find someone these days that is good at his job thats very professional about it and takes pride in what he does. Justin came out to service our heater, he got here on time and got straight to doing what he needed to. Very polite, professional and friendly, even to my nosy toddler and large obnoxious pup! Would definitely recommend Next Gen.

Robert with Next Gen was absolutely great. He was timely, respectful, and very knowledgeable. He communicated effectively for when he would arrive and was effective and efficient once he got here. I am saving the paper work for sure and will be asking for him next time.

I dont recommend any of their services. I had their AC tech, Cody Boyd come to my house to troubleshoot my unit. He wasnt here for an hour before he said I needed 18lbs of refrigerant or freon at $50 a pound and that my evaporator coil needed replacement. So I call somebody else to get a second opinion because that seemed completely absurd. Turns out my coils are in tip top condition, they were just dirty and my freon was full.Cody tried to scam me for a new evaporator coil and $900 worth of r410a which on average is $3-$7 a pound. What makes it even more disgusting is he did this while he knew full well my children and new born baby had no AC in the Texas summer. Also turns out Cody Boyd is unlicensed or working on an expired license.I called and filed a complaint and sent them evidence of his wrong doings and they said theyd deal with it accordingly. With that being said theres absolutely nothing this company can do to make right what Cody Boyd has tried to do to my family and in particular my children. Im only writing this review so you can be an informed consumer when it comes to essential services like your AC and HVAC system.I absolutely would not recommend this shady company and their unlicensed techs.

This review started badly due to communication issues with Bobbie Jones, the Warranty Manager. I posted a negative review over the weekend and requested the owner call me. He did so on Monday morning and spent an entire hour (60 minutes) on the phone with me explaining my options and how we can resolve the issue. He apologized for the lack of follow up, and was extremely informative regarding my options to repair my issue. Every employee has bad days, and or/bad habits that can be improved upon by working with management - but when the owner reaches out to correct an issue with a customer it says a lot about the integrity of the company and makes all the difference in the world. Id gladly recommend NextGen Air for HVAC work.

This is a stand up company. We used them to replace on of our ac units (both inside and outside). They were on time and profession. Len and Chris were standup and professional the entire time. They were very nice and let me know of everything they were doing and showed me things I needed to know. Mollie who handled our finance was amazing. She walked with us through the entire process and even registered our units for warranty. She did great. The company gave us an incredible and fair price. I would highly recommend this company to do any HVAC work you need!!!

I cant say enough good things about Next Gen Air. They stepped up when our home warranty (AHS) could not. First, let me state that any inadequacies of the home warranties (in our case, AHS) should NOT reflect on Next Gen Air. I was told a number of times by AHS that they contacted Next Gen Air, when it absolutely was not the case. Thankfully, I reached out myself and they were able to get things done. Next Gen Airs customer service is stellar! Mollys communication and customer service was top notch. She displayed that Next Gen Air truly cares about their customers. Nathan and his crew were professional and quick! Nathan is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and addressed any concerns we had. Basically, we ultimately did decide to invest in a new system as our old system was broken and outdated. Instead of continuing to receive the run around from AHS and face the Texas heat week after week, we turned to Next Gen Air and they provided us with temporary cooling up until they could provide a permanent solution. We are extremely happy with this company and would recommend anyone to them. They are amazing!

Chris, Lynn and Cody did a phenomenal job installing the AC and furnace under 6 hours in the rain for AC furnace and thermostat installation found some issues during installation and repaired them rather than just patching them made sure everything was explained and understood prior during and after the installation couldnt be more satisfied with the work performed!! When I called this company my AC had not been working for a day and a half and it was 95 degrees outside. The response was prompt, the technican that completed the work-Keith Fuller was knowledgeable and professional and was able to tell me quickly what the issue was, how much it would cost and was able to repair my AC unit quickly. My experience initially with Next Gen Air was a bit rocky. However after speaking with the owner the situation was resolved professionally and to my satisfaction. I would definitely refer them to my friends and family in the future. They need to reconsider doing business with American Home Shield which is a very unethical unscrupulous warranty company.

These guys are great. They come when they say they are going to come, and they do a good job at a fair price. My AC upstairs went out last night, and it was like a sauna up there. They came out today, explained what was wrong and fixed it. I have also had them out to service the ACs before the summer heat starts and replace fancy filters every 6 months. You have to go in the attic to do it, and it’s tricky. It’s just better for them to do it. I highly recommend.

This was an excellent experience having Josh and his team replace the HVAC system in my home.This is our 2nd new system he has installed. We moved to a new house and when I realized we needed a new system, it was a no brainer about who to call.I dont plan on moving anytime soon, but if you need a new HVAC, be sure to call NextGen.The rest of this review is from our previous install.We are already noticing that even though we keep it pretty cool most of the day, out electric bill is much lower than usual for this time of year.From the first visit to prepare for the installation to the install itself, everyone was extremely friendly and professional. I didnt expect them to replace the old duct work, but we decided that would be best.My wife and I have noticed a huge difference in the air quality since the new system was installed. I realize part of that is the new duct work, but I know that the iWave ionization generator that was installed has also made a major difference as well.I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Josh and Next Gen Air. I have American Home shield and they recommended Next Gen to me. I am not going to bore you with all of the details because there are lots of details. I would just tell you that if AHS recommends them or you are thinking about doing business with them, please save yourself the trouble and tell AHS that you want another company to come out. I had to get a second opinion after this tech came out and it was totally different than what Next Gen said it was. This company is very very unprofessional.

About 4 years ago in summer of 2017 Nexgen install an AC unit at my house 30028 13th st. It Was running fine till it stop cooling in the summer of 2020 which is less than 3 years later.I called the office told them the problem and they said it was out of warranty which is one year. Any way they sent a technician to check the problem and he said there’s a leak somewhere and to fix it it will cost $600. To fix ( I paid them too much money for the system anyway but that’s fine ). how could a system almost new have a leak in the lines this fast. I have another 2 units in my house which’s over 23 years old and have no problem whatsoever , the only thing I could think of is they did a bad job installing it. I ask to speak to a supervisor he got me the supervisor on the phone ( forgot his name ) I told him the problem and he told me that’s the price. He said if I don’t agree with it don’t waste my time or my technician time (( very bad manners)). So I told him thank you very much.“IT IS A VERY BAD COMPANY TO HIRE TO DO A JOB “They are super nice when you hire them and your on your own after the job is complete. I don’t recommend them to anyone.

Recently had Next Gen Air come out to service my A/C. Had Chris, Nate, and a few others come out to work on my persnickety 2006 A/C unit. You guys were awesome and very professional !! Kudos to James and Misty for being relentless during COVID in finding my shortage/specialized parts to get me back up and running !!

Quick response to my call and they figured out the problem in about 10mins. Nice, polite, & quality work.

I would not recommend them. They were assigned to me through American Home Shield to come do an A/C tune up. They came out and checked and said that I needed freon and that they would put in the work order to have it done and come back and finish my A/C tune up. Its been over a week and havent heard one word from them. I called them and I was told they would research and call me right back and never heard anything. I dont recommend using them at all.NextGen Air called me yesterday and apologized for the situation with my home warranty company American Home Shield. They offered to come out free of charge and complete the work to show that they care about their customers and wanted to correct the situation. Someone came out today and was very professional, explained what they were doing and completed the work. I am pleased with the way NextGen resolved the situation and I know in the future I will use them knowing that they will work to make sure I am a happy customer.

I used another company to diagnose what was wrong with my system and when they “fixed” it. It was still working horribly. A friend of mine recommended we use Next Gen Air. They came out, diagnosed and fixed my system in less than half the time the other company did to do nothing. Highly, highly recommend.

Chris Pavlovsky was our technician when I called American Home Shield to report a clogged drain issue with our A/C unit. He was so professional, very knowledgable, and got our issue taken care of quickly. He took time to explain the repairs, and gave me instructions on how to follow up and check for any other leaks. He is a very genuine, nice guy and if you use Next Gen Air, ask for him!

Justin is a well mannered young man. When I asked if he had filters in his truck he said there not supplied. He went in the attic, came right down and said he was gonna run to Walmart to get a couple of filters for me and wouldn’t even take money from me. I felt blessed.

One of the worst experiences. Customer service is arrogant, nonchalant,not interested in getting problems solved. Waited on hold for long time each time I called. Technically the tech they sent was also arrogant and not well trained. Used excuses I have not heard of in my 40 years in the construction business.Came out check a leak and unit not cooling. Claimed the line clogged, just had it unclogged the day before and it is still not clogged to this day. Claimed it was not to code. It was permitted,installed then inspected and passed by the city of DALLASDid not bother to check the unit outside for cooling problem and left. Tried to contact company.... nightmare!Finally called another company,who came out quickly and in less than an hour solved the problem of cooling. We are now nice and comfortable despite our experience with Nex gen.Don’t bother to use them....

Terrible experience with them, I was scheduled from 11-2 pm for maintenance, they never showed up, at 7:30 pm I called and he said he is an hour away, but can get to me the next day early I agreed, 5:00 pm rolls around and I don’t hear from them. I call the business and they say it is Easter weekend and we don’t have anybody working, not one time they apologized. I find it very disrespectful for other people time, I took a day off from work for them not to show up.08/07/19A sensible response would have been we will call you and talk to you about it, not for me to call and waste more of my time while you aren’t owning up to your mistakes. BEWARE!!! The WORSE company ever! They quoted us one price, we agreed and one day before our scheduled repair, they called and said the price would be triple the first quote. WTH! We asked why was there such a drastic increase in the price, they said because some things were missed. I started questioning the new quote and the guy was very rude and unprofessional! Do not waste your time!! Called TEXAS HEATING & AIR, now this is an HONEST, RELIABLE & PROFESSIONAL company.

Chris knows his stuff, after another HVAC company told me I needed new parts, in two minutes Chris determined my thermostat had just locked me to a certain setting, he unlocked it and then checked the system to make sure it was operating properly, all good. if any issues arise will be using them again.

There is never a good time for the AC Compressor to die on you. However, MAJOR KUDDOS to NextGenAC. James and Cody came out assessed the issue, ordered the replacement compressor, and the day of installation…they even were able to come earlier :)The pricing was fair, and service was thorough. I will mention one item about Cody, extraordinarily knowledgeable on the technical aspect of everything being done. Both James and Cody explained what was being done and why.

After a bad experience, I was contacted by the owner and after a chat he did everything in his power to make things right with me. There are not a lot of companies that dont take their reviews to heart and I really appreciated that more than the service I received. I just hope what happened to me doesnt happen to anyone else.

I have had about 5 different technicians come to my house to fix an issue. Once one tech comes out and “fixes” my A/C a couple of days after it gets hot in my house again. Then another tech comes out and tries to fix the issue, he fixes at the moment and then a few hours later its hot again in my house. Nobody has been able to figure out whats wrong. Its always something. However today Robert came out and hopefully fixed the problem. We will see in a couple of hours. I just want my a/c fixed!

Terrible company. My home warranty company sent one of their technicians to my house that had no idea how to check refrigerant pressures. Despite the system icing up, he told me repeatedly I had no refrigerant - not low, but absolutely no refrigerant. FYI for those completely ignorant of HVAC systems, they will not ice up if they have no refrigerant - its not possible. In addition to telling me I needed new refrigerant, they also diagnosed $1800 of additional items that wouldnt be covered by my warranty company, but that were absolutely required in order to proceed with the work.When I called them and told them the only problem (as diagnosed by the other, non-warranty company) was a bad evaporator blower, they said no problem, well send someone to fix it, as if they were completely aware their techs are incompetent and their quotes are completely fraudulent. If youd like an honest and fairly priced company in the DFW area, Id recommend Greenstar. I purchased an entirely new American Standard system from them for a little over twice what Next Gen wanted to charge me to repair my system (not even counting what the warranty was supposed to cover).Next stop is the complaint page of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation!

Bobby the “office manager” is completely non chalant. My warranty company has employed nextgen as a contractor to fix my AC and I’ve waited 3 days to get in touch with this Bobby to even get a status update on my ticket. “My expecting wife and I awoke to a loud noise coming from the HVAC unit after putting thousands of dollars into it with another HVAC company. I quickly shut off the breaker to stop the noise to make it through the night. 30 minutes later my wife went into labor and we were headed to the hospital. I was worried about bringing a new baby home to a house with a broken HVAC unit in the middle of the Texas heat. I contacted NextGen and in no time a tech was dispatched. The tech arrived and had the problem solved before our new baby was born. Thank you NextGen for making me feel like my family is as important to you as it is to me. NextGen HVAC came to repair a system. During this process they always communicated when they would be there. The technician, and there were two different guys, was knowledgeable and friendly. It took several trips due to manufacturer error sending wrong parts. I will use NextGen again.

Recently had Cody and Shane come and change out a coil and TXV, they made it too the appointment early. Changed out the coil, and txv in just a couple hours, and had my house cool in no time. 10 out of 10 would recommend !

If the end justifies the means they might deserve a better rating. I met with Jeff from Nex Gen last year and he sold me a furnace and air conditioning for $15,500 He said that they did not have to apply for any permits from the city and I was happy that this would expedite the installation. Less than a year later (last month) I called them to inspect the furnace on my rental property. The tech that came out said that the manifold was leaking and there was no way to get the part for the old furnace. After the new furnace was installed the foreman pointed out that the gas meter was locked closed by the gas company. My tenant had repeatedly tried to light the pilot and exhausted any gas in the line trying to light the furnace. He left the petcock next to the furnace open so there wasnt any gas to smell. I was standing next to the technician who later told Jeff that not only did he smell gas but he suggested that I take a wiff to confirm. This was a lie. The install foreman on the first job told me that Air Conditioning installs cost at least $3,000 more during the summer than in December. Jeff said that the prices are the same all year long. Who lied and why? If my tenants would have called the gas company instead of telling me that the furnace was broken they would have realized that the gas was shut off because they never opened an account. The gas was left on for more than a month when they moved in and they assumed I was paying for it. I would suggest that anyone with a problem like this call the gas company first. Nex Gen had no interest in checking the meter so they could sell me a whole new furnace. Jeff did reduce the final bill $500 to placate me. Buyer Beware.- David
