Mark W Jake and Nathaniel came out to fix the light in my grandpas bedroom. My papa is 91 and absolutely couldn’t stop talking about how great these guys were! He said they were both super friendly and he said “that Nathaniel sure knows his stuff!” lol it was cute! He wanted to make sure we got the review done for them! Thanks guys for coming out quickly and fixing the wiring in his bedroom! We appreciate yall so much and thank you for being so kind to him! Yall sure made his day! And in turn; made mine! Also, the guys put a sticker on my electrical panel so we have quick access to their number when we need them! Now he can just go to the panel and get it instead of searching online!

Ian showed up at my home prepared to do my AC tune up. Once complete he gave me an in depth report on my system. He was very professional, prompt and courteous. He immediately pointed out some minor issues that needed to be addressed and didnt try to up-sell me on unnecessary work. He was willing to begin the work however, I scheduled for the next service call. I am impressed with the service he provided. He also put a shine on my condenser.

Comfort Experts was super responsive and kept me informed of the service call status. Ian, the service rep, was great. He quickly diagnosed the issue and put a plan in place to get us back up and running once the part came in. He came back out and did a great job. We are back up and running.

We always use comfort experts- they come out quick, are reasonably priced and get the job done. And this is the 2nd time Wade has worked on something for us- he is kind, efficient, advised the best fix and tidies up after himself. We really appreciate Wade and will absolutely use again for his A++ service.

Comfort Experts has treated me very well for many years. I am a return customer. Hunter came to perform a maintenance service on my AC system. While he was here, he also asked to inspect my water heater. He discovered a serious issue with my water heater that I wasnt aware of. He was very courteous and called another technician upon my request so I could get estimates on repairs needed on my water heater.

We recently had Comfort Experts come out to inspect our AC and found that we were in need of a brand new unit. We were lucky that they were able to come do the install the very next day. Comfort Experts delivered in an emergency. We called a plumber we had used in the past. They said week to 10 days.Another company said they would come between 8am and 5pm the next day; that really narrowed it down and wasted a whole day. At 4pm they called saying they had to postpone and narrowed the service time to 12pm to 5pm the next day. Again, they called to postpone! Thats when we called Comfort Experts. They said they would have a plumber here that afternoon. True to their word, Wade arrived and did an excellent job in 30 minutes. They have won over a new, satisfied customer.Many thanks to Wade and Comfort Experts.

We had accidental damage to a propane line (able to turn the gas off at the tank, so not a life/limb emergency) and they had someone out and the problem fixed inside 24 hours on a weekend for a fair price. Kellen was very thorough and worked hard to accomplish the best results to our problem. I am going to request Kellen if we ever need our services again, I will recommend your services to people I know.Ian Conrad was also very thorough. He checked all the pipes in the attic for leaks and made recommendations that can protect us against any future leaks.

Well I thought I had a good experience but then I got a quote for a new capacitor and a compressor saver. $400 for each and that is only if you are on the maintenance program. I did some research to find that these parts cost $15--$30 each and take only a few minutes to install. The capacitor is really a 10 minute job and the compressor saver is 30 minutes or less - probably 15 for a trained technician. Also when checking the part number on the capacitor I saw that the technician missed a huge Mud Dobber nest that was attached to electronic components (see attached photo) and another on the wiring. The electrical area on both units was generally very dirty with spider webs and spider nests AFTER the service call. I would think this would be critical to clean as that is a top reason for electrical failures in an AC unit. I just have to say I was disappointed. I had to clean this up myself after the fact. I did sign up for the maintenance plan but now questioning whether this was a good decision.

Comfort Experts tech, Justin, was an amazing help. We were out of air with a house full of kiddos and he came at 7:30 pm and didnt leave till 10:15pm. He got us air and was super respectful and knowledgeable.

Technician (Cody)was on time, was very efficient, professional, friendly and very considerate cleaning up before he left.Would definitely recommend him to family/ friends.

I would give a 0 star of I could! We got a brand new unit last year due to having no air in the middle of summer with kids and pets. Fast forward our ac broke they just installed and they want to charge us $1500 to replace part even with a manufacturer warrantied part! So once again stuck with no air in the middle of summer with kids and pets 🙄 This company is a joke! Charged us close to $17,000 for a 4 ton unit! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Mark worked in the cold to service the Generac generator. This is a great machine and works flawlessly. Recently the power went off and it kicked on within seconds. It ran for about 5 hours until Oncor could get the problem fixed.Hobson AC/Comfort Experts is a great company with great people that know how to do their jobs.Mark worked in the cold but he showed up on time and handled the issue quickly and professionally. Tech came out and replaced the out side lawn faucet and had to make a cut in the bathroom remove spray foam insulation to do the job which is no big deal. The faucet sticks out from the outside of the house 1/4” from the stone the mess that he left after completing the job was unsatisfactory. He took the piece of drywall that he cut out after we disused that I was going to need that to patch the hole up. For that 15 minute job it was over 1k. You would have figured he would have took pride in his job and leave the work area the same as you found it but I guess he doesn’t. Will definitely not go out of my way to use again. Just my experience and opinion.

Careful of bait and switch pricing. Was quoted $100 on the phone to install a Nest thermostat I purchased. Tech arrives and tries to charge $650 ($1,500 if they were providing the thermostat). I ended up contacting a different company and they charge $130. Buyer beware

Our technician was so very friendly and helpful. He checked everything so make sure our unit was in great condition and problem free. He confirmed that we understood everything that was being checked, showed us his findings and then suggested something we had not considered.He explained that although our unit was under warranty, this didn’t include damage from an electrical surge. He quoted a price, pulled a new model from his truck and installed it. We also had him inspect our tankless hot water heater and offer suggestions on that. He sent a notice to the main office to have a specialty tech contact us since he was working mainly on heating and air.As always, we are very pleased with the service we received. There was a minor scheduling change due to us only needing maintenance when others were completely without heat during this arctic cold snap. But as promised, we were rescheduled, got an updated email reminder and the a notice the day of service to let us know that the technician was on his way.Comfort Experts is our go to place for all of our housing and maintenance needs. Great service, great products and great people.

Phil came out earlier than expected and diagnosed the problem quickly. He delivered the bad news in a good way that we’d have to do a complete overhaul on our AC system. He set our expectations about the engineer who would come out to provide our options. He was very personable and polite. Good experience for us after spending 2 days in the heat. On the second visit Don came out and completed a thorough inspection, provided our options and educated us on the best solution to our problems. He worked out financing for us and got us on the schedule quickly to do a complete overhaul/replacement. We were very happy with the professionalism both men showed on their visits to our home.

Scheduling the appointment was handled in a timely manner with proper questions asked in order to give me the best possible service. I was updated as to when my technician would be arriving throughout the day which was a pleasant bonus so that I could run errands and still be home by the time they arrived with time to spare. They ripped off a 76 yearold woman over charged her they came out to do a service call that was supose to be 53$she ended up paying over 800$she is on a fixed income when comfort experts was called hobson air conditioning they were thieves than and are still over charging people for bad work

The techs are hit and miss. Do Not waste your money on an Amana System. This was recommended by Hodson who purchased Comfort. With that said, Comfort has been working overtime trying fix this system.

Service technician arrived on time. After showing him the concern with moisture and information detailed on a home inspection report, he identified the scope of work, found the problem and did the repairs. I thought it was a little pricey, but I didn’t have a direct comparison. I would have liked the service call price to be included with the completion of the work, but he did an excellent job. I’m able to cross this repair off my list from the required home inspection issues. I would use this company again.

We realized around 6pm that one of our AC units had gone out and called these guys based on the reviews. Now I see why their review average is so high. Andrew was out here in less than two hours, on Fourth of July weekend. He was friendly, courteous, and thorough, fixed it in no time and made sure it was working right before he left. Were selling the house, so we asked for a fridge magnet to leave for the new owners. Fantastic service. Highly recommended.

I Own rental property. Tenant said heat went out. It was late and very cold outside Called other companies who wouldn’t come out this late and some didn’t even answer the phone. Our furnace was not heating. Casey diagnosed the problem. Excellent service tech, professional and competent. Danny sold us a new furnace to replace our dead 10-1/2 year old unit. Very professional, friendly and competent. Alex and Sergio installed our new unit. Both young men were exceptionally respectful, friendly and competent. Our furnace died going into the Feb. 2021 weekend with a forecast of zero degrees. Within 32 hours of my first call to request service you installed a new furnace to prevent us from freezing. Phil came out for our tune up and was really polite. I had a several other people working on the house installing gutters and he worked around that. He was respectful of my time. My heating unit was making a very loud buzzing noise this Saturday morning. I called Comfort Experts and they were able to get me on their schedule for a same day service call. I have used them before, so there was no question as to calling them again. Their technician, Andrew, showed up and very quickly diagnosed the problem. He explained the problem to me and was very thorough in his explanation and showing me the actual part, a contactor, that had failed. He did have a replacement on his truck. He let me know the cost to repair. It was very reasonable, especially considering it was a call on a Saturday. He was able to replace the part quickly and the heating system is back up and running. Andrew is what I would consider an exceptional employee. He is surely an asset to Comfort Experts. I would recommend this company, and specifically Andrew, for any home HVAC, plumbing or electrical repairs that you might need.

Please get a second opinion before paying these people!! After 3 years with them, I am cancelling my service with them. They over charge and are not knowledgeable about HVAC. Long story short is that my HVAC system has not been producing cold air since we purchased our home. They have been coming to service it and each time give us a thumbs up on our system. We have been needing a new hvac system this whole time and they want to charge us 10k for it. We got it fixed for less than half that price with someone else! I’m not sure how they missed it this whole time!

Great tech! He’s been to the house before, so nice and can answer any questions. We’ve been using Comfort Experts for over 5 years to help us keep our system up and running well. I highly recommend them.

I haven’t actually hired Comfort Experts for my HVAC needs just yet, but I will be. Riley drove out to my place on a Saturday to come see what I needed done. He was very down to earth, knowledgeable, and courteous. You just get a sense that their company isn’t about making every last penny that they can off of you. Instead they’re extremely customer service minded, and they want you to be a customer for life. He put together my estimate, and instead of sending it in an email or calling me to talk about it, he drove back out to my place to explain it all in detail. The word “comfort” in their name doesn’t only apply to heating and cooling. They make you feel comfortable about working with them as well. Their estimate was much lower than the other company that bid the job...to boot.

I came home to find my AC out at 6:00 in the evening. Mark B. came right out and diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately. He was very nice and professional. Our A/C went out at night and Ryan our technician came straight out the next day to make sure everyone was sleeping cool again!

Before I made an appointment, I called Comfort Experts to ask what services will be performed for a heating tune up. the representative were very nice and patience, telling each service as I was writing them down. The technician came and performed his service. He told me that everything was fine with my one year old HVAC unit and he recommended a compressor saver kit. Due to the cost of part and labor he mentioned, we decided to put a pause to save the money to proceed with his recommendation. Therefore, I addressed about my heater blowing cold air instead of hot. He said it could be other issue because the HVAC was good. When he left, I notice the filter was not changed and that was part of the service which he did not performed. The next day we woke up to very cold house which made us search for a second opinion. The following day another technician came, checked the units wiring and within a minutes he found the ground wire was not working. He fix it and the HVAC began to blow hot air. He placed an anemometer to one of the vent to measure wind speed temperature.Do to the lack of knowledge, I will not use Comfort Experts/ Hobson air conditioning inc. services again.

Phillip came out on a Sunday in the middle of August...my AC was constantly running, but not cooling down the house. He explained exactly what the problem was, and what future problems may arise in the future. But how to look for the problem before it gets as bad as it had become. I also asked him for his opinion on what he would do if he were in my shoes about certain concerns. He was completely honest with me and gave me a couple of different options on what would be the best game plan. But most importantly, showed me what and where to look to see if the problem arises again...this way, I am able to catch the problem sooner than later.I also spoke to Lisa on the Saturday before, to set up an after hours appointment. Lisa was friendly and helpful and wanted to make sure that a technician was able to get to me ASAP. She knew how hot it was and how miserable it is with no working AC in August in the middle of August. I am extremely happy with the company and the service I have received. I found my AC guy!! I highly recommend Comfort Experts for your HVAC needs!

Tyler called me, tried to talk me out of making the repairs that I have already arranged to pay for, explained why I should not make the repairs, tried to convince me to get a whole new system, and I specifically told him to make the repairs that were previously diagnosed anyway, and Tyler decided not to make the repairs. In a subsequent conversation, Tyler claimed he did not hear me when I told him to make the repairs. In reality he either could not make the repairs or decided he did not want to and uses the false excuse that he could not me tell him to make the repairs. This is dishonest and could qualify fraud because I have already paid for the repair in advance. I have asked to speak to his supervisor and as of now the supervisor, Preston. has not called me.

I responded to an ad that was received via the USPS. I made an appointment to have our units examined. The operator was quick to schedule me at a time that was convenient for us. The technician called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way and he arrive at the scheduled time. He evaluated the systems and provided me with a written explanation of his findings before providing his suggestions to address any problems. We was courteous and wasnt pushy.

We moved into a home where the previous owners used Comfort Experts along with a lot of our neighbors. When our heater started acting up, we called them. Scottie Baker came out and diagnosed it immediately and got it fixed. It was also cheaper than I expected.We signed up for their “Silver” plan. $15 a month it includes a lot of good things. Great tech and seems like a great company. Everyone I spoke with was great.

My AC started acting up last week, so I called to see if someone could come out and look at it. They were able to come out the same day, which was nice, but that was about the only positive thing about the whole experience. The technician showed up and I showed him my outside unit. As soon as he saw it, he said “oh yeah, that’s old. I’m going to go ahead and say you’re going to need to replace it”, without even looking further into it. So I was automatically turned away with that comment. He looked at it for about 5 minutes and told me the compressor was out. He then went up into the attic and claimed that whole unit was falling apart. At the end of it, he told me my unit would never run again and I could either buy a whole new unit which would cost about $7,500 or replace my compressor for about $5,000. He also made me repeat everything he had told me to “make sure I was listening” so I could relay the right information to my husband. I decided to get a second opinion.Another company came out and looked at my outside unit. He did some looking around and concluded there was absolutely nothing wrong with my compressor like the previous technician had said. The capacitor was out on it, and that was it. No need for a whole new unit. I was able to fix my problem for $270 with a different company.Long story short, they only want to sell you a new unit. They don’t actually care about fixing your problem or helping you get your current AC fixed. I will NEVER use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Brett and his team came out and repaired the plumbing from our well after the Feb. 2021 snow storm. They worked into the night and made sure all was well before leaving. I recommend them for their prompt service and tenacity to figure out a problem and fix it.

After 4 phone calls and 5 visits and my insistence that there was still a problem and enduring cold temperatures, Connor stayed with the job until he found the problem. He was gracious enough to listen to my problem and checked everything, making calls for assistance until the problem was discovered and corrected. He explained things and answered my questions, never having an attitude having to deal with a senior citizen. Ryan did good work also, but there was still an underlying problem. Id give them zero stars if that was possible. Well, have to say, that after years of using this company, we finally had enough and cancelled our yearly service and a scheduled repair with them. Our upstairs AC quit working over 1 month ago. Their technician came out and checked out the unit and said it had a leak in the evaporator coils and all the freon was gone. The coil was covered under their warranty but would cost $1600 to install and the labor was not covered. We agreed and ordered the coil. 4 weeks later and 10 phone calls to them to find out where the coil was and nobody would ever call us back. I asked to talk with parts and they said no. I asked to talk with a supervisor on 2 different occasions and she was always busy and never called me back. I asked to talk with the owner - Brett Hobson, and was told no. Surprisingly, the day after asking to talk with the owner, the part shows up and they schedule service - FINALLY. Service is scheduled to arrive between 8-12 and they show up at 11:55 - go figure. Anyway, then the service guy tells us that theres no freon and that will be another $2000 because its not covered either. We say if the part wasnt bad, Id still have freon, so they need to cover it. He gets ahold of his Ops supervisor - some guy named Preston, who gives me a call. He says, theres nothing they can do and theyre not going to cover it. I say to patch me to accounting so we can get a credit back the $1600 for labor and cancel our service contract. He says he cant, hes in the field. I say just use hold and transfer on your phone. He says he doesnt have an Iphone and cant do that. Who doesnt have the ability to knowledge to that?? So I call to cancel our service that weve had for years and the lady at customer service doesnt even seem concerned or ask why or ask if theres anything they can do to correct the problem.Brett Hobson, the owner of the company, just lost a long time customer that had bought 2 AC untis from them. Not a way to run a business.

Comfort Experts is so great! They came the same day I called during peak A.C. repair season and had my new system installed on the day they said they would. I did have an issue after installation but they came and took care of it immediately at no charge. Im so glad that I chose them for my A.C. installation. I also love the fact that they have a technician available 24/7. This is the only company in the area that does this. The tech was fantastic and very professional. He identified the problem and took extra measures to make sure there were no other issues. Very curtious. The issue is the credit card I updated in the office was not on file yet. No big deal but should of been corrected when I called.

Called and made appointment for between 1-5 pm Thursday. Called again at 4:30 Thursday to check. They said they couldn’t make it. Would be out early Friday AM. It’s 11:15friday AM. Called again and they say they will be here at 2 pm. A day and a half wasted and I won’t be getting holiday pay for Good Friday. Will never use them again!! We’ll it’s now 2 pm and still nobody here. I’m so done with these people! They don’t deserve a 1 star rating!!

Absolutely the worst hvac company to hire... they say they will be there 1-2 then say 5-6 and will not show until 9-10.. bought a brand new system in 2019 and nothing but problems. Had the outside system replaced again in 2020 luckily under warranty. And still having problems. If you need them to show call in advance before your system goes down.. overall just find another company.

Technician was friendly, and professional. After diagnosing the issue (blower motor stayed on all the time) I was given a verbal estimate of possibly $2000+ to replace a blower motor. Since the unit was fairly new, he said he would contact the manufacturer to check if the blower/fan motor was covered under warranty and get back with me in a week.After a week went by, I still had no answer on if it was covered or not. I had to call and was told the part is not under warranty and the price was $2540 to replace the blower/fan motor.Called another company for a second opinion to estimate the repair. After 10 mins of them being here, I was told the blower/motor was covered under warranty and I would only have to pay for labor to install. Roughly $500.I do not recommend using this company. I have attached the estimate I was given.

We had an extended warranty with C E that cost 12.00 a month. We cx it only because we moved out of state. I had no problem with them until the fee was removed from our bank account the same day we cx it. They have refused to return the 12.00. I think that is poor business and unfair since we are not receiving any service. They had no problem promptly cx the contract which means they made 12.00 on a service they were no longer providing.10/22/19...issue resolved. Called by owner. 12.00 returned and explanation that our issue should never have happened and it was an opportunity to learn how to do better at servicing the customer.

My first time doing business with Comfort Experts (Hobson Air Conditioning). Quick response, very personable/friendly customer service. The tech arrived as expected and completed the repair quickly. Pricing was as expected. These folks are my new “GoTo” for A/C and heating.

Im extremely happy with the technition that came out to service my unit. I made a mistake and called another company to come over and.. Try to fix my unit. But the technition that came out. Said that. I was going to replace a few items before the unit could start running properly again. So I did. Jump that. I got on Amazon and found myself the 2 items. The technition. Had informed me that needed to be replaced. One of the items that the technition had said that needed to be replaced. Was the circuit board. He informed me that their price for the circuit board was $ 680.00 dollars plus the installation of the circuit board. I had informed the technition that came out. That I was going to do the repairs myself. Any way.. The circuit board. That he was wanting to replace for me. I found on Amazon. Brand new for $ 75.00 dollars. And once I had replaced both of the items. That were supposedably. The items that were going to get my unit up and running again. After I had reinstated the circuit board. And the heater sincere . My unit still didnt work. So I ask me brother Felix Gomez. Because he has just finished going to a HVAC training school. So he came over to see if he could get my unit up and running again. But after about 45 minutes or so . he had to tell me that he wasnt able to get it up and running again.. That I was going to have to call over my 3rd and final technition. So I did Just that . I called comfort Exports. And the technition technition that came out. Had my unit up and running. In less time than. It took me to find a drop light. I was trying to acomadate him , with a little more light. Because much unit is located in a dark spot of my house. Any way. Before I came out of my garage. He had my unit up and running again.. I was so happy to hear it running again.. I couldnt have kissed him. But I didnt. I held back. Then I thought to myself. I need to give him a tip at least. But. When I looked in my wallet. It was empty. So I had no choice at that point. But to thank him profusely over and over. So I have no problem with giving comfort Exports and their technition a great review. I wont ever call anybody else to come out and service my unit. Ever again.

My AC went out last week. I called Confort Experts and writhing an hour they had a tech at my house and within an hour after that he had it fixed. He took the time to show me the problem and even wore shoe covers as to not get dirt on my carpet. Fast, friendly and reasonably priced.

Friendly staff as to be expected. Replaced my entire system. Do yourself a favor though. Do not let them add a thermostat to your order. $200 for a $50 unit from Home Depot. I belive mine was wired incorrectly as well since i can no longer even create a schedule on the thermostat eventhough it is supposedly a function. My old thermostat had more funtions. Have expressed my issues to 2 different people and nothing has been resolved despite being told it would be.

I will copy and paste on all 3.Pros - They were very friendly and they came when they said they would.I am not having problems with my ac unit, just the duct work under the house. I live in a doublewide and the back half vents are not blowing air.Cons - The tech is so afraid of spiders he spent more time siking himself up to go under the house, than he spent under it actually looking for the problem. The first trip under he zip tied some loose insulation and called it good. After some prodding, he goes under again, in a different spot. After a short visit under, he comes out and says he doesnt really know what is wrong but I probably need to replace 25ft of duct, to the tune of $700. He did say $600 to $700, but we know which it will be closer to. He said he would get back to me with the price and left. I paid $60 for that. I really dont expect to hear back from him. Needless to say, my problem has not been resolved. On the other hand, I have an idea of where the problem is now and can call a different company to fix it.In conclusion, given my experience and some of the other reviews, I would think twice before using these guys.Update: I received a call with the price to replace the vent. $785 While I was waiting on them to call back, I called and got a second opinion from Arrow (Mineral Wells) and was informed what the problem probably is. They are coming out today fix it for a 1/4 of the price. If the technician, from Hobson, would have just taken the time to look he eould have found the problem.

I had an issue with a new unit, a few months after it was installed. Everyone I spoke with was very apologetic about the problem. They had someone out to check it out within a couple of hours, and it was fixed the next day. I wasnt happy about being without AC overnight, but I was satisfied with the prompt, and courteous service.

Luke did a good job finding and repairing a small propane leak and providing information for my system in general. Had I not pushed though, the dispatcher wanted to write it off to the colder weather. So thats the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Comfort Experts has been our HVAC company since moving to Texas in 2011. We would not use anybody else. The techs are very knowledgable, very effecient, and hard workers. They come out whatever time it is, they are always clean and courteous and professional. I never feel uncomfortable alone in the house with them, which is a big deal since Im disabled. The office is quick to answer the phone and you get a real person, not an audio tree to choose a department! That is what service should be. Id recommend them to anyone.

Fixed my issue with a clogged AC drain, but cost me $359. Gave me a pushy pitch to replace my capacitor for $465, which I almost took until I googled the part and purchased myself from Grainger for $47. Takes 30 seconds to replace. Overall Im satisfied, but slightly miffed about the 1,000% mark-up I was almost pushed into.
