We just moved into a new house and, living in Texas, we know the importance of an efficient, well-working AC unit. So, we immediately called on a company that had been recommended to us for their great service, AJR Heating and Air conditioning. They came out, serviced our air conditioner and made sure everything was in top working order. We ultimately signed up for their yearly maintenance plan.This past Sunday, in the heat of the middle of the day, our AC stopped working. (I was changing the thermostat.) We called AJR Heating and Air Conditioning and within minutes we were called back. James Popp was able to help me over the phone to fix what ended up being a blown small fuse. (My fault) I went and picked up the part (which he helped us locate), put it in and it was done. I cannot recommend this company enough or speak highly enough about their responsiveness, their professionalism, their integrity and their kindness. Very quick service in our time of need. Most other companies could not service our particular AC system but AJR took on the challenge and we are so thankful for them! We have an older model 3 door refrigeration unit in our business. It had been worked on by another company. The tech didnt do his job and caused more harm than good. We called AJR and they came out same day! Their tech was so professional. found the problems and correctly fixed them. We even had the owner out making sure all was done correctly! They were able to install it the next day and be done within a few hours, just in time for my home to show potential buyers. I have an older system that has given me a lot of trouble since I moved into my current home. I have done business with several businesses in the area and never felt compelled to give my business to them in the future. With my most recent issue, I tried out AJR. Unfortunately for me, I had to bite the bullet and replace the entire system. AJR got me the best deal Ive ever heard of and nobody else was anywhere near as cheap on a quote as they were. I got my full system replaced all in one day and got my home back into habitable conditions during this terrible heat wave we are experiencing. This was by far the best service Ive had with AC repairs and AC installation. They were an absolute blessing.

If I could give James and AJR ten stars, I would. Our a/c stopped working at our house and when I checked the unit outside I noticed that one of the fan blades had broken in half. It was after hours on a Saturday, and I called AJR after seeing some positive reviews online and was immediately called back by James.James asked me to send him a few pictures of our broken fan, and measurements regarding our unit, and he texted me back shortly thereafter letting me know that he had looked through his shop and found a compatible a/c blade. He offered to come install it for us, or we could pick it up to save a little money. When I met him to pick up the blade, I was taken aback when he refused any payment.James not only gave us the part, he also gave us a spare fan motor, walked me through the repair and let me know I could call him any time if we had issues.This kind of customer service is very, very rare these days. Thank you James and AJR for doing things the right way and going above and beyond to help us out. You have earned a new customer for sure.

Called in on Saturday night and Aaron called me back within a half hour and was on site within the hour. Got my A/C going to get me cool at no extra charge till my unit could be replaced on Monday. Service and install crew were very professional and did a great job and left my house cleaner than it was before. I highly recommend this company and there work.

Our family lost air conditioning Thursday night. We called Friday morning around 9am and had Adam at the house by 10:30. He inspected our cooling unit, explained to my husband and I what had caused to stop in cooling, and had us all fixed and running again by noon. The service was done well, everything is working again great. Adam was very respectful, hard working, and prompt through out our entire experience. We were very pleased with the customer service we received and work we paid for. We were skeptical to try a new company for our repairs since our go to company was over booked. Honestly, couldnt have been happier to make the switch. We will continue to use AJR for now on as their customer service was far superior and repair men were extremely curtious and respectful to our home which can often times be an issue. AJR to the rescue! We had a late night emergency that needed immediate attention. We called numerous companies in the area that claimed to be open 24 hours. AJR was the only company that answered the phone and came out to save us as soon as we explained what was going on (water coming through the ceiling is no joke).AJR came right out and went to work and got the issue fixed and even offered advise on how to prevent issues in the future! They truly are on call 24 hours a day and I can promise you that they just received a new loyal customer for the quality of work and quality of service that they provide. They were unbelievably professional and their response time was incredible!

Never in my life have I had a company who cared about their client with this high of a standard from the second we called. Rip off~ get ready to pay a lot. 1lb freon gas yet minimum charge is 2lb. Doing same thing over and over for 3 hrs and charge with 3 hrs of labor. Also come from weatherford to weatherford and trip charge is $100? Never again calling them.

The tech that came out was very kind, professional and thorough. However, watch out for this company. The boss told him to charge me $450 to put a few pounds of R-22 Freon in because the unit is very old. Then came the fishing lure. They would deduct that $450 if I bought a new unit from them. I paid the $99 trip charge and sent him on his way. Spent my entire morning waiting around for that experience. Consider a different air company. I did and my decision was rewarded. The competitor I called was familiar with this problem and only charged me for the Freon to fix my elderly mothers air units.

We had new a/c out in Monday. Aaron was very nice and two other guys were as well. After it was out in things were not hooking up right they said, however he says he would get to work and come bk Tuesday to finish with right parts. New system was running all night and day but would not cool house it was 80 in here, guy came in afternoon and explained why, was not same story as yesterday. I called office left message with girl she said owner would call within the hour. Owner never called me back. He told Asron to add 2 year something to warranty for troubles. Aaron was suppose to come to finish yesterday but called said story about running from office to warehouse would be closed not enough time (like thats my problem) they sold the system. Anyway he couldnt come to finish. He said he would be here first thing in am, Monday the first thing is 7-8 for workers they said its 12:42 and he has not showed up. Andy called he said he would be here within the hour that was almost 40 minutes ago, we shall see. I think it is bad business for companies to lie to get you to buy something. This company was on Angies List too, dont understand that at all, I would not recommend AJR Heating to anyone, the owner doesnt even do what he says.

Our AC went out Sunday night. We had called other AC techs to come out but none showed up. When I called AJR, they were here within 25 minutes. Aaron came to our house to diagnose our current system and apply a temporary fix. I was prepared to purchase a new HVAC system. Aaron gave me an affordable estimate and scheduled an installation that Thursday. Milton and his team arrived at my house at 10:30 and were finished by 1:30; awesome crew that was fast and professional.

I was having cooling issues in this texas heat. Called another company that took 5 minutes to put a half fix in place that lasted a few hours. Called AJR for service, they were very prompt. The service was done but they recommended a new system. A couple days later the a.c. system stopped working again and was beyond repair. The owner took the cost off the previous service call off the new system. Saved a bundle this way. I will be calling them back for future needs.

Great Install. Lakeside, TX ( La Cantera) I purchased 2 seperate 4-ton multiple speed , 2 stage Rheem units. They crew from AJR was quick, professional and did quality work. I had gotten 5 quotes on equipment. Three of the quotes were similar in pricing with slightly different equipment. Two of the quotes were from some of the local firms that are always on TV and Radio. Beware, they were twice the price for the exact same Rheem model numbers. AJR pricing and equipment seemed to be the best value. They also included three multi- voltage regulators to protect the 2 units and the balance of the house. So far so good. The 10 year parts and 10 year labor was included in the deal in a nice benifit for the future.

My ac unit went out. I called my ac man. He rewired some things but it failed to work. He said he couldntfix it. I called AJR and spoke to Mr. Popp and he told me that he loved a good challenge and would be out the next day. Mr Popp was very professional and fixed it in no time. Called about leaking freon. Tech came out and before even looking at our AC told us leaking freon likely means it would likely cost thousands to fix so we should just buy a new AC. The guy said the freon leak test would cost $275.00 but it would likely be a waste and we should juist buy a new AC (why not tell us about that fee on the phone?)..... Like an idoit I bought a new AC and whether or not I really needed one Ill never know because he NEVER CHECKED.There were lots of other issues after that, i.e. they didnt replace the pan under the unit in the attic plus they somehow clogged the lines so the first day of use water over flowed and came out the attic pulldown stairs. - the tech came out shifted it around a little and said it should be good. 1 week later water was coming through the sheetrock in the ceiling. It wasnt until 7 months later that they came out and replaced the pan with a new one that SHOULD have came with the unit since it was BIGGER in the first place.Apparently when they installed the new AC they clogged the water line and since they didnt install the overfill pan correctly and just left the old one when it flooded it damaged the ceiling. They blammed us for the lines being clogged, they claim existing lines are not their responsibility however the previous AC which had been working and used right to the point of when they uninstalled it had NO WATER OVERFLOWING. The previous AC was working great we just had to refill the freon because over summer it leaked. Which makes me wonder what did they do with it? Sell it? I never gave it to them, they just took it.I bet they took my old AC cleaned it up and reinstalled it in someone elses house. If you are a person whom is easily taken as a sucker such as myself then stay away from this place otherwise youll end up like me.

This is the only place to go when you need AC repair maintenance My AC quit working in the middle of a night on a Friday I was calling companies the next morning at 6:30 that said 24/7 none of them answered the phone James is the only one that answered the phone he was here at noon and it took him like 15 minutes to fix the AC very professional and even got a follow up call 6 hours later to make sure everything was okay who does that today, AJR is the only company I will use, while he was here I signed up for the yearly maintenance program, great service
