These guys are great. We’ve taken our car here several times over the last few years with replacing motor mounts to servicing our AC. Good honest guys that do a thorough job at a decent price. Owner is a nice guy as well (retired fire fighter actually). Most definitely recommend!

I had my son’s truck for the day and noticed the AC wasn’t blowing cold like it should. Robert and crew were awesome enough to get me in to look at it and went above and beyond what I was expecting. Especially since I was a walk in at 3:00 on a Friday (and like most other shops, they were busy busy)I really appreciated them finding a way to get me in, the work they did to correct the issue and the genuine “good guy” attitude and shop atmosphere.If you are looking for a good shop for your needs. I’d would have to say this one should be in your list of places to call. I’ll be returning for sure, when needed.

My check engine light had come on and I needed a diagnosis of what the issue might be. I called and talked to Vanessa, the office manager, and she explained their process. She said they will diagnose the problem, for free, and they will get back to me with an estimate. I made an appointment this morning and they got it all fixed by 2pm the same day. I can’t say enough good things about Vanessa and the Pit Stop. They are very reasonable and fast!! They treat their customers like VIP’s. This is our go to auto repair place from now on 😊.

These guys are amazing. Im a pilot car was following a oversize when my alternator took a crap going down the road.. these guys had me back up and running in just 3 hours.. highly recommend...

The Pit Stop auto repair shop on First St in Weatherford TXI brought my 2020 Chevy Equinox to the Pit Stop due to a Check Engine light and Reduced Power Mode alert that popped up one day. They are very courteous and professional. They replaced a turbo actuator and sensor.Their prices are fair and a good reasonable turn around time. After driving it all day, the issue did pop up again and I had to return it. They found an additional issue with some hoses and replaced them at no cost. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to this mechanic.

I had two minor repairs. They swapped out my number eight cylinder, spark, plug, and did an oil change for me. Very reasonable price. Very courteous, very accommodating, very eager to earn my business. Im relatively new in town and have been looking for a mechanic to take care of my vehicles, someone I feel I can rely on. These guys are it.

Had a wheel bearing break while I was driving from Arlington to possum kingdom. Towing company in the area suggested this place. They helped me get back on the road quickly, and they were very friendly. The owner also seemed very honest with everyone who came in while I was sitting in the office.

These guys are the best! I broke down in Weatherford at 3:30 on a Friday in the middle of a road trip. I called them while waiting for a tow truck and they told me to bring it to them. They were so nice in an extremely stressful situation, they replaced my battery and alternator and have me back on the road before 4:45 with a fully packed shop. I wish I lived in Weatherford so I could use them permanently as my auto shop!

We broke down while traveling through this awesome city while going camping with our RV. While the businesses were closed when this happened we were able to hook up with The Pit Stop after SouthWest Nissan stated they could not even look at our vehicle for several days. We were repaired in one day at a very fair price! Thanks guys!

Excellent communication and service!!! The work was exceptional. I bought a used car for my daughter and on the way home it started acting like it was in limp mode. Next test drove it kicked the bucket! The Pit Stop was honest about what was wrong and needed to be fixed and checked in with what I wanted to be done or not. Cost of the repairs was better than what I thought it would be especially with a German little car. They were spot on with the timeline of getting the parts and repairs. They even warranty the parts. Beep Beep now runs great and has cold air. Very Happy!!!

Robert and his team are fantastic. He always finds a way to save the customer as much money as he can. He has been working on my 20-year old car for over a decade, and kept it running this whole time.My car recently needed work and after the repair, it threw 53 codes in an electrical error. I brought it back immediately and Robert fixed it at no extra charge AND gave me a full tank of gas.I definitely recommend Pit Stop for ANY make and model of car, but especially for German vehicles.I wouldnt trust my car with anyone else.Thanks so much, Robert!!

Honest shop that does what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. I took my Silverado here for the 100,00 mile service, to include new plugs and fluids flushed, and was impressed. Pit Stop is a solid, locally owned small business that does good work. Would certainly recommend.

I took my Subaru Outback in for A/C service and Robert found the issue and fixed it.I had another mechanic try it twice before and wasn’t able to.Great mechanic shop!! My new “go to” local mechanic.

Very friendly staff! Robert nicely explained what could be done to fix my A/C over the phone. What he said was exactly my experience. Honest and more than fair with prices of repairs. Although busy, delivered on the fast time frame given. Maybe a first in my experience. Will be using them going forward without hesitation.

I brought my car in for a/c repair and battery repair. They fixed both of the issues but my driver side window button is now broken and it wasnt broken when I brought it in. I asked them in person if they knew what happened to it and the guy who was fixing my car said he only rolled up the window so it couldnt have been them who broke it. They then gave me a quote to fix their mistake by offering to charge me over 400 dollars. Having someone lie to your face is not a good business practice neither is lacking the respect to admit your mistake.

I am a frequent patron of the Pit Stop, and honestly, I don’t trust my car to anyone else. Robert, and all of the other mechanics are, not only friendly, but incredibly reliable and put a great deal of effort into repairing my car. As I come and go from college, they are always willing to get me in to check over my car and make sure I’m fit to drive back. They are really the nicest people, and they do really good work!

I recently had to have the AC replaced in my Subaru. I went to Pit Stop Auto on 1st street and they did a great job. They were recommended to me several years back and I have been using them since. They are honest, stand by their work, and are reasonable in their prices. I dont write a lot of reviews but I felt these guys earned it. Highly recommend.

After my daughter moved to Weatherford we had some auto A/C problems. I want to say the Robert & his crew at Pit Stop auto are some of the honest and upright people I have meet. I am not a mechanic but understand in this day and time we as consumers can easily be taken advantage of. I would say that if you bring your car or truck here for repair it would not be a mistake.Always remember it takes time and money for any repair. I went in for a diagnostics because I had a leak. It turns out my radiator needed to be replaced. Robert ordered the part same day, gave me the price upfront, and I was back in my car the next morning! I’m blown away by their efficiency, transparency and helpfulness. I will continue to use them for all of my vehicle needs.

Get a second opinion. I took 2 vehicles up there at different dates. Both times the owner an his team told me the vehicles needed new engines. Idk if just cause i dress like a comic book nerd he thought i didnt know anything but thats what they adamantly said it was. That it was the timing chain so its just best to get a whole new engine. The vehicle has 80000 miles ppl an he wanted to swap it out said that was the only solution 5000$ thats how much to fix 1 vehicle.. So long story short tell me why i took my vehicles to get a 2nd opinion an they were fixed for 1000 for both! No new engine wasnt even the timing chain lol it was a flywheel

Logan and Robert were very friendly and helpful. My car was due for some scheduled maintenance so I called a lot of places around town. The Pit Stop was able to schedule me in quickly, is open Saturdays, and ended up saving me a couple hundred dollars rather than taking it to the dealership service center. The price was great, the customer service was great, the work performed was well done, and its a locally-owned business. Ill be sure to call them the next time I need any work done.

Robert was honest about all the issues with my car and was able to fix it all within 2 hours of me showing up. You don’t find honest and reliable service like this anywhere else. Everyone up here is some of the best people Ive met. They have more integrity than any other auto shop around and I will not be going to any other auto shop for my car, these guys will take care of you and wont try to gouge you on price, also the shop cat is an awesome cat so there is another plus, cant think of a single negative thing to say about my experience with them. These guys are some of the quickest, most honest, fair priced auto repair guys I have ever worked with. Unless something changes in the future, they have 100% of my business going forward. And I will recommend them to everyone I know in the Weatherford area. A/C blower went out in my Expedition. The most obvious was to replace the blower. Did that but didnt fix the problem. Brought it back in and these guys went out of their way after some digging and discovered that the yr model I had has a reported defect in the wiring. They had replacement wiring there and fixed asap. They communicated EVERYTHING with me in detail before doing anything. And to me, that is extremely important.

Turn signal went out on a ‘21 Cheep Grand Cherokee. Bulb replacement did not fix the problem, so called 5+ shops to only be told they wouldn’t be able to look at it to diagnose it for 5 or more days after we dropped it off. The Pit Stop got it us in the next day, repaired and picked up same day! Unfortunately the turn signal stopped working again that weekend, so I went back and talked to them about it. No worries, they get it in first thing the next morning and repaired before lunch. It’s now been 2 plus weeks since then and we’ve had no issues whatsoever. Honest, reasonable, trustworthy individuals over at The Pit Stop!

Reposting again to make sure everyone is aware of the level of service given at this location. just reposting so it doesnt get buried at the bottom. Still doesnt stand behind his work and never responded to this review either. Only 1 star because i cant give 0 stars, they misdiagnosed broken valve springs... after charging me $475 for deep cleaning of the injectors and throttle body, then he said I needed a new computer. They took out my factory computer and replaced it with an auto zone $400 computer, that didnt work and I had to have the valve springs replaced from another mechanic. the dash was cracked and the power steering pump stopped working while in his shop, he denied the damage. later I found the new computer was not communicating with the transmission properly and causing shift problems. after I spent 3000 for a new transmission, the transmission mechanic said I needed a new computer. Robert did warranty the computer 2 more times but once none of these cheap computers would not work he said he will NOT replace with a factory computer even though that is what every other mechanic says I need and that is what he took out of my truck and put in an inferior computer. Auto Zone computers are junk. I then spent $1600 for a new factory computer (4 times more expensive than Auto Zone junk) and it works fine now. So his failure to diagnose the valve springs properly has cost me over $5000 ($475 for injector cleaning I didnt need, over $1600 for new computer that he took out that was not faulty, plus over $3000 for new transmission that was necessary from cheap computer causing it to shift wrong until it started slipping) this does not include all of the wasted time putting the truck in the shop over and over and over again or the dash repair or the power steering repair. Robert (the owner) seem nice but he does not stand behind his work. Customers beware. He avoids your calls when he knows you are trying to get him to correct his mistakes. I know $5000 is a lot of money for a small shop but its a lot of money to me too and it was his mistake not mine. My only mistake was taking it to him to begin with.

Robert was upfront about all the costs of the repair and when the wrong part was delivered, he even called to update me of the delay. He was able to get the correct part ordered and delivered same day which still allowed me to pick up my vehicle same day. The owner is a retired fireman and seems to want to remain upfront and transparent in order to maintain clients. He has my business as long as I live in Weatherford! I would highly recommend.

First we were from out of town and our car overheated. Pit Stop was recommended. I called and explained my needs and of course a good mechanic is backed up and they were. But they said we will help you and they did and at a very reasonable cost. So great place with a heart too. I recently moved from Round Rock to Weatherford and wanted to find a local repair shop that I could trust and I found it! Wyatt, behind the counter, explained parts and costs while Robert (owner/mechanic) showed me what needed to be done. Final cost was less than the original estimate. Great service, honest and friendly. They sure beat the big box chain repair shops in so many ways.

So I as in a bit of a time crunch and had a 8 hour trip ahead of me from Lubbock to Huntsville for school and at about 4 1/2 hours in my car starts to overheat and soon after the radiator hose completely blows! Soon after getting it running again another problem happens that leaves me stranded. Luckily a couple of guys were nice enough to tow me to The Pit Stop and these guys here are the real deal!! I believe Robert is the owner I didnt get to speak to him much because he had to get going, but he was very professional. Wyatt and Marco helped me out and were both awesome! Marco seemed to know exactly what needed to be done and how to do it! Wyatt was very understanding of my horrible situation and helped me out a ton! They fixed a couple of issues with my 98 Cherokee with in a couple of hours and I made it all the way to Huntsville with no more issues! Go see these guys if you ever have auto trouble!!

We are beyond pleased & grateful for Pit Stop!!!! Excellent service! They went above and beyond to get my car fixed. I had a very small leak in my evap system for a long time that no one could find and these guys found it within an hour. They got me in and out the same day. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back. Very friendly and great customer service!

This place was recommended to me, I went thinking I could use them for body work silly me! Well a week later I realized my breaks were horrible, I took it back and the wheels I have on my vehicle are special ones that they did not have the key and neither did I! As bad as my breaks were they offered to break them off. I was very tempted but my husband was able to locate our key all the way in granbury he went to pick it up and they guys at the pit shop were very patient with us. We’re nice guys got our new breaks and roaders in ASAP as we ordered everything with them it was a great price them knowing I was a girl they did NOT try to take advantage of me which was surprisingly because we all know most auto shops do!!! Wyatt is always doing his best to help me out. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. When looking for a mechanic you want someone you can trust and I trust him 11000 percent. He will not lie to you.

They helped me with an issue with my steering system and tried their best to keep costs low. Wyatt is a very good person and did not take advantage of the fact that I know very little about cars.

Went in for AC repair estimate and was told I would need to replace radiator as well and all of this would run 900 plus new thermostat. I really like the owner and I want to trust them but my car is a 2013 and Im really not sure if thats legit.

You know the saying about finding a good mechanic... these guys are beyond fair (easy to figure out just get multiple quotes), very good and communication is superb. You’ll spend double for less substance elsewhere. Airforce vet here and aircraft mechanic/electrician and I can’t recommend anyone else in car maintenance better than the pit stop. Period.

Best mechanic in town! Lowest labor prices and friendly staff. The amount of honesty is my favorite. As a female that doesnt know a lot about cars, the fact that they were honest with me and actually showed me what was wrong speaks of their integrity.

Wes was a rockstar, he stayed around after they closed to change my alternator. Customer service is king and his ability to stay alittle bit longer at work to help me in my situation was immensely appreciated. Having changed a few myself, I thought it was a little high pricewise for an alternator installation, but the fact that someone took extra time out of their day to help me get on my way made it worth it. Thanks for your generosity.

Not the cheapest place in town, but they earn it by doing excellent work and are very good about communicating while working on the car. Audis are a pain to work on, as they require a lot of specialized tools and computer software, so I was very happy to find a local guy who not only works on them but does an excellent job of it.

Wyatt was very nice and courteous. They tried their best to get vehicle out by time needed but worked with me when they did not. Continued to say appreciated the business.

We were traveling during a heat advisory from Terlingua TX to NC along route 20 when our AC broke. We were desperate. Most places I called told us they were weeks out. Pit Stop told us to come on in and hed make us a priority.

Not true to their word. Was supposed to be free diagnostic. They replaced a part with out telling me how much it would beand charged me. Went 10 miles check engine light back on now they want more money to fix it. Very disappointed
