Lightfoot Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electrical

I have been a Lightfoot faithful customer, member of their annual maintenance contract program since we bought our home in 2015. The prior owner recommended Lightfoot and it has been a good investment.Today I heard a loud noise and this week’s freeze undoubtedly caused pipes in the attic to burst and two big sections of the ceiling fell along with all the wet insulation. I called in for an emergency and they were here within 2 hours. Did not leave until everything was done.Additionally, during this week’s freeze I lost power for 3 hours one morning very early. When it came back on, there were still 2 rooms with no power. They came this afternoon and discovered there were 3 breakers that needed to be replaced. They did this and installed a surge protector on the panel. Within 4 hours both of these major problems were resolved.

I had a blast with these guys. I appreciate and enjoy joking and chatting while they are here. My chatter never slowed their progress, in fact, they finished a little earlier than expected They are knowledgeable, confident in their workmanship, and they answered most of my questions before I asked them. They were more than happy to show and explain everything to me. They answered any questions I had and made sure that I understood how it works. They were great with my dogs....one of the guys is now called Lollipop 🍭 at my house because my Dane pup kept licking his bald head...lol.

Awesome service, as always! I had a second return cut for our primary a/c unit, AND a hose spigot replaced in the same day. Technicians were wonderful and made it all look like it has always been here. 5 stars.

I had an emergency with a water pipe leakIn my yard; I called Lightfoot and was able to get Corey to come out to fix it. He did an amazing job, was courteous, explained things well, and took extra time to try to locate the pipe at nighttime, with very muddy/wet dirt, which added to it all. I was so appreciative of the time, diligence provided by Corey to resolve the problem same day! Pricing was upfront and honest as well! Thank you so much Corey and Lightfoot plumbing! Would highly recommend and use them again!

The heat and our lack of annual maintenance bit us big time as we came home to a house at 85 degrees and outside temp still 100 on Saturday night at 6:30pm.We called Lightfoot who gave us options including an after hours service call, which we chose to do. The technician was there as soon as possible. He had been working since noon and yet he was pleasant, professional, and got right to work. After diagnosing the problem he again gave us some options and the costs (flat rate). We had him do the maintenance right then. He didn’t leave until the work was done and our house was cooling off.Then he offered annual maintenance that was a no brainer to sign up for. My wife and I had been thinking we needed such. It included A/C, plumbing, and even electrical annual checks (A/C x 2).To our delight, after we agreed to sign up for the annual maintenance, he then applied the after hours discount and other benefits to this weekend, evening, emergency call. It was outstanding service at a personal level and the business approach was impressive.Looks like we are a Lightfoot customer for the rest of how long we live in this house.

Great company to work with! I made a call on Monday to Lightfoot for an appointment to come out and look at my heating system. Expecting my appointment to be a week away, I was told they could send a tech out later that same day. Curtiss looked everything over, made a few adjustments, and the system is working great! He was very knowledgeable, gave us some tips, and even told us about a maintenance plan Lightfoot offers. We quickly jumped on it and saved about $20! I will definitely use them again.

Called the team as we have blockage and all the toilets, tubs are getting backed up water. At night, first service person came and snake in the drain outside at flowerbed and cleared the blockage and he is good but in the morning another service person came in with camera to see whats the cause for the blockage and captured the pictures of the blockage and orally I was told that brick inside the pipe is causing the issue and brick corner broke the pipe from the out and entered into the pipe line and due to which, veins kind small roots entered the pipe as shown in images uploaded. The main reason for the baby roots to enter into the pipe line is due to the brick.But when I requested them for a report for my records, they sent a report with roots blocking the pipe and not the brick. I called couple of times the customer service and explained them and asked fair and clean report what they found inside the pipes; so that I can talk to builder as it is there from the day 1 of the installation. Again they sent the report email for the second time and again the reason was roots not the major cause of brick.On the other hand, I talk to my builder (D R Horton) after 3.6 years of construction and responded positive about their issue at construction time and sent plumber to fix in. Finally builder plumber fixed the issue and found the root cause as the Tree Stake snapped into the pipe when they are planting the tree at the time of construction.So, I am very unsatisfied with the second service person and dislike the way dont want to give a fair report what they found in the pictures. We had a clog in our sewer line. Had an estimate from another company that was a great deal more than Lightfoot Plumbing. They repaired the break in a timely manner and the plumbers were all professional. Did take a few extra days to fill in the hole after the repairs were made but all in all, I would recommend and will use again.

I appreciated being able to schedule online on the weekend. I had an appointment for Wednesday m, but they had a cancellation and let me know they could come out Monday morning which was my preference anyway. Jonah was exceptional. He was courteous, professional and thorough. Keep up the great work!!

I had some lift station issues at my house. They showed up and diagnosed the problem quickly and we’re able to find the part and fix the issue in a couple of hours. The technician that showed ups name was Hunter. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He did a great job. Will definitely use them again

Service and repair was completed today. As always quickly and efficiently. Always impressed with Lightfoot and their employees. You get what you you pay for. I am sure I could find a cheaper price, but the standard of support and the peace of mind to know I am well taken care of leaves me feeling confident in my systems integrity. Discovered a plumbing issue late afternoon. Tried other plumbers-they wouldnt be there for a few days. Lightfoot was out the next afternoon. Matt texted ahead as to arrival time. Courteous and explained everything in plain English. Showed exactly what service would cost BEFORE doing work. Totally satisfied.

Needed to get my water heater issue fixed within a reasonable time frame and figured out and these guys came through. Corey the technician was exceptional in explaining the process and giving me options for the diag and repair! Great pricing to fix what i needed done and fast, skilled service. The team provided a heads up text and phone call as they headed our way. they arrived on time. Examined the electrical problem, identified the cause, and showed my son and I the correct fix.They then provided me a quote with options, did the work quickly and cleanly, tested the circuit. made sure we were satisfied, collected our payment and headed out all within much less time than I expected.Based on todays efforts, I became a subscriber to their annual maintenence plan as well.Welcome to the Lightfoot Family!

Lightfoot is great, easy to work with, always friendly and professional. Jarrod was great today when he came out to do our Winter Inspection, explained what he found, suggested services that we need with many options on level of what was needed vs what were all encompassing maintenance. Definitely glad we switched to them!

We have had a few experiences with this company and not a single complaint. Cody and Jonah came out today to replace our electric panel. They were both extremely pleasant and professional. They took apart the disaster of a panel left by previous companies and left a pristine work of electrical art, so clean and organized, it was immaculate. Before leaving, they cleaned up everything and left it as though theyd never been here. I am pleased beyond words. Jonah Boyd, who works with Lightfoot Mechanical, came this morning exactly at 08:00 just as he said. He was very patient and answered all my questions about a whole home surge protection device. He explained everything that I needed to be aware of and installed the SPD, he did an excellent job. I highly recommend Jonah for any electrical needs in your home and highly recommend Lightfoot for any Air Conditioning needs you may have. I have used Lightfoot over the past10 years and have always been pleased with their service.

Eric was very knowledgeable and was able to resolve my issue quickly. He was also very helpful when I asked about some other work I was considering. Lightfoot has been covering my house for a couple years now and have always been quick to respond.

I’ve used once and they were expensive but decent. Just scheduled a smaller job for Friday afternoon. They gave me a huge window and then never showed up. Pulled the “We tried to call you but couldn’t get a hold of you”. I offered to text my call log and they wouldn’t accept. Very suspicious on. Friday afternoon. They wanted to get off early for the weekend. I wanted to speak to the owner and the dispatch guy said he was the highest lead at the time. Basically they are a big expensive company and they didn’t care about my smaller job. Don’t use them!

Rogelio Vargas came out today and unclogged a pipe for us, he was super chill and really nice from what I hear. He was very professional with my wife and kid, walked her through what all was going on and gave a few recommendations on how to move forward. Ultimately we just got the cheapest option but still cost us 518 to get a pipe unclogged. Not sure if thats the going rate but it seemed kinda high, other then that it was a pleasant experience all around.

Just had a plumbing backup and worked with Lightfoot Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electrical. Tristan was the technician that came out to the house and he was AWESOME! Tristan was courteous, professional and explained everything with great detail. Customer service was awesome as well. 100% recommend and look forward to working with them in the future. Jonah was on time and respectful of property. He listen to the explanation of what our issue was and quickly solved the problem. While it was a simple fix Jonah showed me what the fix was and didnt imply that it was something I should have been able to fix. He was also able to make a simple fix for an unrelated issue. In his inspection, he pointed out items that will need to be addressed in the near future, what hazards those items posed and provided several options to address those issues. I will be a repeat customer.

Mack T was easy to communicate with and stated their price for repairs up front. The cost was exactly the estimate! These folks are professional and easy to do business with. I highly recommend them.

Plumbing problem during winter storm. I called many companies but no solutions were given. The earliest someone promised to come by was the next day morning. I have an elderly husband who needs 24/7 care, but, without the ability to use water, its impossible. I got a call from this place and cant say I was pleasant. When the lady listened and tell me she will send someone out but cant said when, I just said yeah, yeah. It was lunch time by then, and I decided to take my husband out for lunch, thinking nobody would show up in a few hours. I got a phone call on our way to restaurant, he was coming in 20 minutes, I tell him to go head and get in to the house. He called back in a few minutes to tell me what he needs to do and why with price, with my okayed, he called while we were having our dessert to informed me all was done. Yes, we took a long lunch, but, everything was taken care of and we came back to problem free home. Great job!

We had a great experience with Lightfoot. They repaired our AC and helped make sure we received a credit for our warranty and made everything very easy to understand. We did the service plan and look forward to working with them down the road to have things checked out proactively.

The customer service rep was great, the tech was knowledgeable, efficient, and so nice! The price paid for the work done to get our heat back on was more than worth it, I am relieved beyond measure. Lightfoot will always be my first call from now on!

My whole house water system tank began leaking. Lightfoot made an appointment the next day. The service tech came out on time, expertly assessed the problem, and replaced the broken part in a timely and professional manner.

Had an issue with my man breaker tripping. Jonah with Lightfoot came out and diagnosed the problem immediately. Very helpful and professional with educating me on what was exactly wrong and the steps needed to fix the issue. Overall, I felt like it was money well spent on making things right with my house. I called right before a freeze when my furnace quit working. They scheduled me for the next morning but luckily had a technician George who came by a few hours later and corrected the problem in minutes! Cannot thank them enough! They installed the system originally and will install the next. I cannot recommend them enough!

Weve been customers with Lightfoot for years. Our most recent experience was as great as our first one. We called with 2 major needs to be scheduled a day apart. They came through for us with the plumbing and electrical repairs with flying colors.

Hunter came out today on christmas eve and was able to get our tankless hot water heater fixed. He was kind and professional. The issue was fixed fast and he went above an beyond what we expected for the issue. Would 100% recommend them to anyone.

We have used Lightfoot for a variety of heating/ac and plumbing repairs for a few years now. Most recently, Curtiss repaired our heating system. He was prompt, courteous, and thorough. I canceled my appointment several times because, My closing date kept moving. The staff alway polite and helpful. Finally received a real closing date, and they had missed my appointment. They did come the very next day and upgraded my service as compensation.They did an excellent job. I will use them again!!

Had an electrical issue which they found and fixed quickly and also fixed a potentially bigger problem with one of the main legs coming into the house. Very professional; they showed me exactly what was causing the short but didn’t try to upsell anything. Highly recommend!Update: I never got a receipt written or emailed, nor anything regarding purchasing a service contract. I did get the email asking me to review them, however.

My technician, Curtiss, was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and prompt. When I initially called, they offered same-day service, but it was me who couldn’t coordinate that quickly. When Curtiss did come out, I was late and he was willing to wait. He explained the problem, had a solution (it required a part which was available the following day) and voila: we had heat! It’s a big company with a small-town feel. My experience couldn’t have been better.

I asked them to install 5 fans and they were able to get all 5 done same day in less than 2 hours. Supervisor and two installers were extremely customer serviced focused and professional. I sign up for their annual service program because of how the experience went. I am not handy

Technicians were very thorough and professional. Stayed late to ensure all equipment performed.However, scheduling office was very poor in not informing me of timing difficulty. Had to contact them 3 times to determine status of appointment. It was supposed to be between 8-12 but couldn’t get anyone here until 4:00. Need much improvement on customer service at least in scheduling department. All I needed was to be informed and then decide if need to reschedule.

I was about to give 4 stars until I found out that what they charged me was WAY above the cost for the job. They also scheduled to come back out to do some other work but never showed up nor communicated. No receipt was given to me for the work.So I own a manufactured home of 1400 sqft, and Lightfoot cleaned the mainline for 1200 dollars using a hydro jetting technique (a type of power wash tool). When I had my friend call them for an estimate for the same job with the same technique and circumstances, she was given a way lesser price. The only thing different is the way we look. Im a woman of color, and shes not. I also was not given a receipt, although I requested one. I went on to call another company that gave a similar price, not over 500 for hydrojetting manufactured homes. Im guessing since the lines are not underground like a home with slab foundation.

I think asking me for a review is a little premature.Im in worse shape then when Lightfoot started. I have a flooded flooring...wet wood and water coming out the foundation.Was told 7 hours ago someone was on the way...no power no water and a busted pipeAnd Im still waiting. Was told I’d be contacted about restoration….still waitingNot quite sure you want a review at this time.Crap happens, I know that...but service providers are judged on how they recover. So far no bueno.But This will be your testREVISED 12/18/2024Corey Jones came out late on the 17th & diagnosed the issue. Corey did not have the necessary parts. Since it was very late we agreed he would comeback 1st thing on the morning of the 18th. Which he did with all the needed parts. Took about 2 1/2 hours to get us back in business. Very pleased at the end. However, getting to complete was a nightmare.1st plumber broke a pipe. Water and electric had to be shut off. I waited all day for a plumber (I was told plumber was enroute numerous times. But he wasn’t.)Took about 24hours before we got water and power.

I am very happy with the way Michael Maxell took care of our problem. He was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous in repairing our heater. Recently I decided to upgrade my electric tankless water heater and Michael and the electrician (Jonah Boyd) installed it They had a couple of unexpected problems happen but they worked as a team and overcame the setbacks and did a great job in the insulation. This company was responsive for 24 hour company. I will give them 5-star for that.However, what I was told it would cost and what we were charged was two different prices.I understand and was willing to pay $250 for after hours help. It was a Saturday night at 10pm when our downstairs bathroom was flooding with sewage.On the phone the service tech said it would cost about $600. Ok, we were charged $807 vs $865 and forced to buy a “membership” to get the $806 price.He was literally here for 15 minutes cleaning out the main line in my front yard.Why the overcharge??Desperate and couldn’t wait till morning to resolve the issue. I feel totally taken advantage of.Vonda C.

Had a new hvac installed a few years ago by an independent contractor. He indicated that replacing our older unit with a more efficient unit would solve our inconsistent air supply issues. Hasnt been the case, Lance from L.M. came out and identified several issues and came up with recommendations based on load factors that will help us significantly. I had the water heater in my attic replaced not an easy task. Corey and Mack did a great job. They kept me informed, answered my questions, and made sure any mess was cleaned up. Will definitely look at Lightfoot first for any future plumbing needs.

Don’t stand by there products. Lie to you to sell you a service package then don’t perform. Definitely would not recommend. Sold me a pump that died in two years and won’t work to help fix it as they advised not licensed to any longer.

Had a leaky sink that I just could not get to stop Lightfoot plumbing made a same-day appointment. Their technician was on time and really helpful. There prices were fair, He had all the parts needed to fix my problem and made sure everything was clean and working properly before he left! It was a very efficient and pleasant experience. I will be using them again if needed.

Eric did an amazing job with fixing my gas tankless water heater from Rinnai! He basically took the hole thing apart almost found the problem and now it works! He also and Light Foot did a great job at making it as affordable as they could for me! All around great job great company!!

Electricians were very professional and informative.The job and estimates were completed to my satisfaction.The estimate for a future job appeared to be on the high side but reasonable.

Had a clog in my plumbing during a cold snap. Lightfoot responded to my house within a couple hours and fixed the issue. Professional and Expedient!

I called Lightfoot Plumbing for the first time on Saturday Jan 11th 2025, with a tankless water heater not heating. The plumber arrived without the needed equipment to repair the water heater and advised he could come back Monday.He did give me an unsolicited estimate on a front freeze proof hydrant repair, that he noticed was dripping, for $588.00!Another estimate for diagnosing my water heater at $280.00, and still another for installing a kitchen sink faucet for $325. I also received an unsolicited estimate on the cost of replacing the entire tankless heater unit for $5,418.15. (I have all estimates if you doubt these prices.)The tech was a good and decent young man just not properly equipped and their pricing ridiculously high, as you can see.I had a different plumbing company out the same day. The plumber had our tankless water heater diagnosed, repaired and heating again in 45 minutes for $126.00! I’d highly recommend Paschal Plumbing and personally will use them in the future. I will never call Lightfoot again.

I paid for your top-tier package, which promised 24/7 service, and this was a major reason I chose that option. However, when I called at today today at 508 I was informed that someone would come between 12-5 PM.This is completely unacceptable, as it goes against the 24/7 service I was guaranteed. I trusted your company to provide the round-the-clock service I paid for, and since that was not delivered, I am requesting a full refund of the amount I paid for the package.Please respond to confirm when this refund will be processed. I had electrical problems with two light fixtures in my attic. Lightfoot electrical showed in a timely manner. They replaced an electric box for a light fixture and added another light fixture on that switch. I also have another attic light fixture on the other side of the house. this was another attic entryway. The light. did not work. The electrician found the switch was not working any more. He repaired this. The time was two hours total. Electrician was nice, professional and courteous .

I had a leak in the garage where the Pex ManaBloc panel was located. Kevin verified the leak and identified the cap on the panel as the issue. He called his suppliers to locate a replacement and found them. He picked it up and came back and replaced the defective cap. He was professional and was upfront about the work and the costs. Lightfoot does have a $50 off coupon on their website which we used as well. Lightfoot offered same day emergency after hours dispatch as an option but since the leak was slow, they came first thing the best day. Lightfoot was responsive, upfront on costs, and performed the work quickly.

Disappointing and Overpriced Experience with Lightfoot MechanicalI hired Lightfoot Mechanical to perform two significant plumbing jobs at my rental home in Weatherford, TX, and unfortunately, the experience was nothing short of frustrating. The initial quote I received was already quite high—approximately $14,000 for a water softener installation. I was informed this was due to the need to bypass the outdoor spigots, as softened water couldnt be used outside, which I later discovered was an unnecessary and purely optional step. Another plumbing company clarified this was not a mandatory practice, and that many homeowners prefer softened water at their spigots for washing cars. The fact that Lightfoot Mechanical failed to provide this as an option leaves me questioning whether I was misled to inflate costs.In addition, I was quoted $10,000 just for labor to replace two toilets and seven fixtures. I provided all the materials, and yet, the cost for labor alone was exorbitant. To make matters worse, the quality of their work was subpar—multiple leaks persisted even after the installation, requiring me to call them back three times for corrections. For a company charging premium prices, I would expect flawless workmanship, not repeated issues.The situation with the water softener only worsened as the job progressed. The plumber unexpectedly informed me that I would need to pay an additional $8,000 for bypassing another section of the plumbing and replacing the pressure regulator and hand valve, raising the total cost to a staggering $22,000. Consulting with another professional later, I learned that none of these necessary additions should have been required, and a fair price for this job would have been closer to $5,000-$6,000.As if that wasn’t enough, the water softener system has had ongoing issues since installation. The latest incident involved the system being left in bypass mode after a service, rendering it inactive for months, leading to wasted time and money. And the cherry on top is that they didn’t position the air-gap drain pipe far enough into the drain and so it would splash out onto the floor every time it drains. Cost me $1000 bucks to have that redone correctly.It’s important to note that Lightfoot Mechanical has been in business for many years and has built an impressive reputation, with nearly 4,000 reviews and a high 4.89 rating. However, based on my experience, it seems this company is now trading on a reputation earned in years past when they were smaller and much more customer-focused. Today, they have grown so large that they seem to have outgrown their reputation, behaving more like a big company that no longer prioritizes customer care or transparency.In summary, Lightfoot Mechanical has been a deeply disappointing experience, characterized by inflated costs, subpar workmanship, and ongoing problems. I cannot recommend their services based on this experience.P.S. Their Yelp reviews are not nearly as impressive as their Google reviews and you should definitely read the BBB complaints.

*******BEWARE OVER CHARGE.******No receipt for work done after full payment. They go by what you look like to decide a price. My wife bought a membership and was still overlooked. They never came to do the twice per year inspection or whatever, but shell be ditching them.

So, if you call this company you’lol have to pay $89 to even get a quote which I would understand if they were competitive but to pay the $89 for an outrageously high quote and then be stuck with paying $89 just seems like a scam to me. There are tons of companies out there that are cheaper and do a free estimate. I Lightfoot quoted me 2x’s what other electricians were charging in my area. The outlet I needed was right next to the panel. I’m all for paying a person what they’re worth but then there is this company that price gouges.

Was quoted 89$ over the phone to have my evaporator coils cleaned tech showed up and did an assessment and then I was told it was 450$ to clean my evaporator coils. Office needs to work on customer communication. Still had to pay assessment fee after not having work I called for done. Tech was very professional and a great guy to deal with.

Your service technician, Jacob Bond, came to our home for a one-year checkup for the HVAC unit that Lightfoot Mechanical installed one year ago. Jacob was excellent in every way. He is obviously skilled in his professional work --- he did a thorough evaluation and solved a problem with great skill and perception.Jacob is a fine communicator, and is polite, respectful, and personable. He quickly establishes rapport, such that he is able to answer questions and explain any details with a pleasant attitude. He is very professional and astute about every part of his job. Lightfoot Mechanical is blessed to have such a person on your team.

Needed the water valve replaced in my washing machine. Receptionist said they could fix it at no charge because I was on a contract. I told her it was the water valve, but she asked someone in the office to make sure. Eric came out as scheduled and took a look at it and said it wasnt electrical, which I already knew. He said it was an $89 diagnostic fee. He called his boss, who said he had to charge me even though I knew what was wrong and explained all that before making the appointment. So, the next time my contract comes due, Ill remember this and get someone else to service my HVAC.

I called this company on a Saturday to come and see about fixing a suspected leak at my house they told me they couldnt come till Monday and not even sure what time Monday I said ok thatll have to do because I thought I could count on them to do right by me given they charge a premium price I expected a premium experience well they cancelled the appointment for Monday I found this out when I called Monday morning to get an ETA so then they put me on the schedule for Tuesday afternoon well the techs ( name of Ro) job before me ran long and he called me at 430pm to see if I still wanted to have him come out and I said I did even though he tried to reschedule guess he had a hot date instead of doing his job but I said no come on over he arrived knocked on my door even though I have a sign asking people to call instead and he had my number and then was overly aggressive and loud as hes telling me its going to cost $300 almost for him to put a shovel in the ground even though I had already dug the hole for him I said fine just get it done so he proceeded and finds the leak then he tells me that he has to get a big fancy expensive machine to be able to fix it and they keep this machine at the shop and its closed for the day ( why doesnt he have keys) so he will have to come back tomorrow wouldnt you expect that to mean hes going to come back first thing in the morning and get it done well me too but he said that he will try to get back in the morning even though ive been waiting for four days and now have to wait even longer and he wants $1000 to complete the job so i decided that these ridiculous people dont get my money and I am writing this having found fixed and buried the job for less than $100 so RO and Seth and all those who work for this company yall are the problem and yall are very ruse inconsiderate and overpriced and i will never do any business with thia craptastic company again

We have had Lightfoot for about 3 years now and we have used the air conditioning and now the plumbing service they offer and I have to say Tristen in the ac department and Mack in the plumbing department are the best they are very helpful in explaining the situation and how to resolve it I wouldn’t use anyone else plus if you sign up for the yearly membership you get some pretty good discounts

I like that Lightfoot has a dedicated rep for me. Trevor, has been out several times, and he does a great job, is professional, friendly, and answers my questions. He and his partner just completed a large job of running cable to a hot tub, and deck. The end result looks great.

I have had good luck with this company in the past. But when I spoke to the office to schedule an appointment, they told me that the appointment would cost around eighty something dollars for someone To come and give me a quote. But unfortunately, when it came time to pay for the quote, it was over two hundred. I found this to be shady and not transparent with pricing. I didnt even have any work done. It was just a quote/Diagnostic visit.

Units were pricy but service package and priority helps. I had 3.5 and 2 mini installed and old units removed. They cleaned up and kept installation tidy and neat. Would highly recommend.

I had an emergency that couldn’t wait on the hottest day of the year thus far. My air conditioner unit wouldn’t even come on much less come within 10° of where I had set it. I called Lightfoot and within two hours got a text from Jacob Bond, who arrived shortly there after. He had my air conditioning up and running and explained to me in detail what was wrong with it and why it was not cooling when it was on. Not only was he very likable and courteous but he was also very knowledgeable. He got the tools he needed out of his truck and immediately took care of the problem. Explained it to me clearly so that I could understand what had happened. I certainly felt as if he cared, and that he was trying his best to take care of the problem, which he did in a short time! I am more than satisfied!

I have used Lightfoot for several different repairs in the past. The work is always good as it was this time. However, I sm finding that they are not content to come fix the issue without trying to upsell me on products and services that I did not ask for. Infact when I scheduled service to clear a drain using a coupon on the web site for $93 I asked about the price before setting an appointment. When the tech got there the 93 was no longer valid and I will have to pay extra for a camera service. Im not inclined to use them again in the future.

This was a great company to work with. We had an electrical problem in our house, in the middle of Sumner in Texas with a pregnant daughter-in-law and a 72 year old mom. I called them and they were able to get out there the very next morning and able to get it completely fixed within two days. It wasnt an issue where the electricity was off because try-county showed us how to turn it back on, but it was a problem with the main breaker for the house that was going bad, so it would go out randomly and wed have to go turn all the power back on in our house. With all that said not only were they quick, they were nice.They were polite, they took more than one call from me because I was scared of the heat and I was scared of something my mom was trying to do, and I was scared of maybe the house burning down because the breaker was getting hot. They were literally great and helpful with everything! Oh, and they kept us informed of when they were gonna show up!

Not only did he meet me before the workers got there because I had to go to work, but he was so lovely with my fur babies. The guys were quick and efficient. I came home to a nice, warm, and clean home.

I am a member of your service program. I called and requested service to add Freon to my 1990’s AC system. I made sure to inform the person I spoke to that my unit was using freon form the 1980’s- 1990’s. She acknowledged my information by repeating it to me. The appointment was set for the next day in the afternoon. I informed you that was a good time because I would not be available until after 12:00. This was confirmed by your people.The next day I got a call from you at 10:15 oh that you would be there in 30 minutes. I had to fake a bathroom break from my mandatory meeting to call your dispatch to remind them that I would not be available until after 12:00. She confirmed this again and said she would let the tech know. Fifteen minutes later your tech tang the doorbell and banged on the door. THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE especially after I informed you twice that I was not available.After my meeting I called your dispatch again to inform them that your tech ignored my requests. They said they would come out that day. At 6:45pm I received a text saying that the tech would be here in 45 minutes. When he arrived we walked to the unit and he informed me that he doesn’t have the Freon on his truck. And immediately suggested I get an upgrade on my system. This is a bait and switch tactic that I will let everyone know about.This is completely unacceptable. I gave you the information to have the proper coolant on your truck and you ignored my information.I am Making a copy of this report because I know you are going to not let this the light of day.At this point I am going to everything my power to make sure people know about this experience.

Which after I saw what they did it would not have been done right by some little subcontractor... Go with Lightfoot mechanical it will add value to your property, on a big job. We came home to our AC broken down on the hottest day of the year so far. It was about 5 PM, and with it being so late in the day, we didn’t think we would have any AC until the next day. They had a few homes to do before us, so it was late when they came. BUT I’m so grateful and impressed they came to fix us up because he wanted to make sure we weren’t sleeping in a hot house.

Techs came out to replace an evaporator coil under warranty. They completed the service call in seven hours and broke something else which another tech fixed the following day in an hour. I needed it working.

We bought our house 2 years ago and just havent had the right AC flow to our master bedroom. I regret to say that my experience with Lightfoot Mechanical left much to be desired. In both instances, I reached out to them for assistance, but unfortunately, the responsiveness was lacking.Back in February 2018, I contacted them for a quote on a new HVAC system. Despite assurances that someone would get in touch, I never received a call after two weeks. After reaching out again, I was told there had been a mix-up with my contact information. Disappointed by the lack of follow-through, I hired another company in town for the new system.Fast forward to this month, when the blower motor in my air handler went out. I reached out to Lightfoot Mechanical again to give them another chance at having my business. Despite initiating contact through their live chat (was on a Sunday) and being assured of a callback the following day, no one ever reached out. While I understand that businesses can get busy, the consistent failure to respond to inquiries is disappointing, to say the least.Overall, while Lightfoot Mechanical may offer quality services, their communication and responsiveness need significant improvement. Its unfortunate that despite two attempts to engage their services, I was left hanging both times.

Purchased the yearly membership for them to come out throughout the year to check everything. We scheduled an appointment back in May and they had to reschedule due to an emergency(undedstandable). When we rescheduled, it was scheduled for August 3rd from between 8am-12pm. We waited until after 12 for somebody to show up. We both called and my fiancé texted the company, no response. Nobody felt the need to give us any updates to let us know if they were running ahead, late, or weren’t able to make it. We didn’t even get a call back. Very disappointed for the amount of money we spent and our time being wasted.

My experience was great. The guys came in with smiles and positive energy. They wanted me to feel like they was explaining things on my level without making me feel like I cant understand. This last time they came had me smh. I was quoted $400 from a competitor. I called Lightfoot and they came out the same day for a fourth of the price. I time before that, something happened. We let our maintenance plan lapse and we were still treated as if we had been with the company for years. I could keep speaking about them but......

Called on a Saturday morning when I was expecting family later in the day. Was able to schedule a Plumber and he showed up before his scheduled time. Found the issue, went over the options, and went above and beyond to find the clog and get it taken care of quickly. Would not hesitate to call again if needed.

We had several electrical upgrades and 1 minor issue to resolve and we received excellent service from Lightfoot. This was an all-day project and our technician worked non-stop. Everything works perfect and all job task areas were cleaned without any traces of work being done. I highly recommend Lightfoot Mechanical!
