Performance Air Conditioning of Texas replaced my dying single stage heat pump with a variable speed, Carrier Infinity Series unit and I cannot happier! The air quality in my home is infinitely better and operation is so quiet! Ken Davis has a team of experts that are “best in class”, his prices are fair and he goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service! I highly recommend Performance Air Conditioning of Texas…you will not regret giving them a call.

Ill give em 5 stars cause Im not THAT vindictive, and by the rest of their ratings they seem to be pretty good at what they do. HOWEVER.. whoever is driving this companies truck around loves to ride your tail and play speed racer just to... rush to a red light?? Weaving in and out of traffic with no blinker, putting multiple cars in danger just to get nowhere fast. There are people (and children) in the cars you pass, its not just empty vehicles on the road and yall drive like you dont care about that?? Not super professional to drive that way given youre in a company vehicle with ladders on top. People see you and the business youre advertising, just like I did, while you were driving like you were. I doubt its getting you any customers.

For reason I thought I smelled like a burnt smell in my AC. So I asked them to come and check it for me. The gentleman man came was super nice and very respectful. He wasn’t in my house 15 minutes and said everything was fine. Melody charged me $119.00 for a service call. The guy that came out apologized and said it wasn’t his decision. I told him I totally understand. I thought it was pretty greedy.

We had a wonderful experience with Performance! They were friendly, quick to fix our problem and easy to communicate with.

Ken was on time and very professional, he used the most up to date equipment in his evaluation process of my HVAC unit issue. He ran several test and was able to diagnose the issue. He made the repairs and my unit is performing perfectly. He was very competitive in his pricing as well. Job well Done.

Really great experience - a/c randomly went out on a weekend (of course) and we have a newborn we can’t just tough it out with. He was to our house within an hour and has us back up and running. Very appreciative of the care and the price.

Super quick to respond and was able to come in just a couple hours to fix our A/C. Service was really fast, friendly, and price seemed very reasonable too! I’ll definitely do business with them again in the future.

I know you have seen my reviews here over and over again. Ken and his team are the best AC guys around. We have multiple rental homes and he has been a blessing. He is very quick to respond to your issues, very professional and he doesnt try to sell you something you dont need. Priced right and I would give them 10 stars if I could. I can’t thank Performance Air Conditioning of Texas enough. Our AC went out last night. I called first thing this morning and someone was out to fix it in about 2 hours. Michael our technician was amazing & had it fixed in about 30 minutes. This week our temps are 105+ so I’m so great full he was able to fix it. Thanks again! I will definitely be highly recommending y’all.

I can’t say enough about the professional service we always get from Performance AC of Texas. Anytime we have a problem they always take care of it in a reasonable time and at a reasonable price. Garrett took care of my 89 year old moms AC today. We were thinking it was going to cost a lot, but they informed us that it was still in warranty.Great company !!!

While he gave me a choice to replace the unit or the coils OR put free on in …there were multiple choices instead of forcing me to get a new unit.THEY ARE PROFESSIONALS AND VERY FRIENDLY! Offered a small cooling unit while the parts were sought as well!I’ve known Ken Davis & his family for almost 10 years now and they are morally reputable people!! I can’t say enough good about them. A big, big Thank You to Performance Air Conditioning of Texas! My compressor fan went out on August 5. I called Performance Air Conditioning of Texas, and they came out to my house promptly and repaired the issue quickly and professionally, at a reasonable price. This was an after hours repair. No tricks, no gimmicks, just an honest, straightforward company that went above and beyond on a Saturday to get my AC working and my house cool again!

So in the middle of the heat dome my AC stopped working. I call performance and Ken answered and had someone here just a few hours later. They were able to diagnose and repair my issue quickly and now my house is on the road to recovery. Will definitely use them again and refer to anyone in HVAC need!! Thank you so much!!

We’ve been using Performance Air Conditioning for the past 2 years. Their services are one of the best around. They’ve helped to resolve many our cooling problems over some of these sweltering summers.They are reliable, dependable, and resourceful.

Have used them twice and I am pleased with service. Most importantly They scheduled within 24 hrs which is very difficult to get someone out in a timely manner. The owner came out on a weekend and got me temporary fixed due to part needed ordered. Just charged for part only and didn’t have to pay until they came out to replace part and clean ducting. I will use them as my regular HVAC go to!

I was barely off the phone with their answering service, I called early in the morning, and Ken called and said someone would respond soon. Mike texted advising he was on his way and shortly after arriving he diagnosed the issue, Ken came to help with the repairs and now the AC is working great. Both were friendly, professional and showed me the issue and the repair. Highly recommend them.

I am so happy to find Ken Davis with Performance AC . We have several rental units and he is always prompt to answer the phone and come out to do the repairs. Very professional , priced fair and never makes you feel rushed. He always takes the time to explain the problem and the options for repair.

I’ve been trying to schedule an appointment with them for 2 months now and EVERY TIME I call Ms Alyssa tells me that the owner or manager is in a meeting and will call me back which they never do. I understand that it’s a small job but if you don’t want to do the job then I’m fine with you telling me so instead of wasting my time.

Service was great for the most part but they are really expensive. Additionally it took almost a month to get the part. Maybe this is normal but it cost me over $1000 for a warranty job. The tech even told me, we could have finished earlier but we forgot some tools. So all of that cost was labor and freon.

It’s challenging to find reliable and trustworthy people to work on your air conditioner. Once you use performance air, you will never call another technician. This company knows its stuff and provides great detail about your unit, and helps you prepare for a time when you may need to replace it. If your AC guy uses those little round gauges, they are behind the technology needed to be efficient in their craft. Give these guys a call, and you will be recommending them like I am.

My parents had a new unit put in 2 years ago and it constantly leaked freon. They had the original company come out several times with no resolution. They finally called performance air, and they solved the problem the first time out and were very affordable.

They installed a new AHU. All techs were professional. Explained to me what all needed to be done and how they were fixing the problem. They fixed my issue in a timely manner. I definitely would recommend them to others.

We were in a bind late on a Saturday night when our A/C went out. Ken showed up for us in 30 minutes and not only fixed our problem but helped optimize our A/C system. Amazing. Truly a unicorn in this world.

Breakdowns do not happen for me during normal business hours. I called early, he answered, and came quickly. Service was repaired and back in service by noon. Customer service doesn’t get better. I will use this business in the future for all by HVAC.

My a/c coil was replaced under the manufacturer’s warranty. The crew was able to replace it in about 2-3 hours. The only complaint I have was the vent/flashing was not re-installed on the side of my house. The tech that came out told me he ran out of the silicone to re-attach the flashing. He said he would come back out to attach it in the next few days. The service date was January 11th, I reminded the main office on January 20th that no one ever came back out to attach the flashing. I was told “I will send a guy by tomorrow “ I guess tomorrow never came? It’s now May 9th. The job is still incomplete. This is why I don’t like paying companies for a job before they complete the work. Once they get your money they are more then likely to do things like this. Can I go buy some silicone and attach it myself? Yes, but I shouldn’t have to when I paid for a service upfront. I will attach images later.Update:In response to the company reply. Unfortunately it was not another company, the invoice number for you company was 1237. Maybe that will help you locate the record.

Never used them but somehow got an invoice for $1000..got a call from a credit collection agency & had to send proof that we got our AC fixed by another company because they was tryna put this on my credit report...

The HVAC tech, Tommy Kirk, was professional and knowledgeable. He handled the Spring maintenance on my 3 HVAC units, and handled the minor repair of a prior issue I had before switching to this company for my HVAC service and preventative maintenance program.I am very pleased with both the service work provided and the quality/professionalism of the tech. I am ready for the heat of Summer, and will have someone coming out again in Fall as part of the preventative maintenance plan. I will be referring this company to my neighbors.
