Great job by the team getting cars in and out with everything done right the first time. So glad to have people I can trust to take care of my vehicles!
This was my first visit, and I was greeted with friendly customer service. The Auto technicians were informative about the problem with my vehicle and stayed after closing to complete the job with a positive attitude.Thank you all, great job on my little red car!I recommend and will return for future car maintenance 👌
They did a good job on my bmw and got me back on the road with no problems, I will be seeing them again in the future for other work I will have done on my other cars.
Foreign Auto Clinic completed all the repairs I requested on my 2004 Boxster in a timely manner. I highly recommend them.
This is a first class company. Paula and Davin are genuine and very helpful in many ways. They have saved me money and time from the sharks at Mercedes Benz of Waco. It is so refreshing to bring my cars to them. Honesty is so rare in this industry. I am so great full. Thanks again
I have nothing other than very nice things to say about this shop. Back in May, I had a coolant leak on my car, which was a plastic crossover pipe. I replaced it with aluminum and it was still leaking from a different spot. After putting my car back together, it was leaking at the very front of the engine. I decided to take my car over to Foreign Auto Clinic to help fix the issue, since I did not feel confident in tearing the car down a 3rd time. They were able to diagnose the vehicle, and fix whatever repairs I needed, and did it in a timely manner. I highly recommend this place for any Jaguar/Land Rover vehicle. As of writing this review, I did 2 launches from 0-75 with no weird noises, or coolant loss. Very very happy to get my car back up and running.
When we couldnt get adequate service from the local Toyota dealer service department, we were referred here by another makers service depot. Foreign Auto Clinic scored high on all counts - great & knowledgeable customer service, fast turnaround, and acceptable costs. The physical building is clean and tidy. Were taking our Toyota here from now on.
Solid and timely work on several of my foreign cars… Love FCA!
Davin was wonderful helping me diagnose and repair a concealed washer fluid leak. He and his technicians expertly repaired the leak and even went thru the effort of drying my carpets. Highly Recommend !
I took my 2016 Mini Cooper S in for repairs that were estimated by another service facility at 3 times higher than Foreign Auto Clinics estimate. They completed the work to my great satisfaction on time and on budget. I was very pleased with the professionalism and friendliness of the service advisors and the parts department specialist. The office looks to have been recently remodeled and is a pleasant place to conduct business. I highly recommend Foreign Auto Clinic for your foreign car repair needs.
I had my 2008 Volvo C70 with nearly 190k miles towed to this shop for several problems: would not crank, needed a new timing belt, previous error code diagnostics indicated cam shaft/timing issues. Davin’s team installed my new (Volvo OEM spec) Continental timing belt and water pump, and they purchased a few extras (after confirming first with me: other engine drive and accessory belts, oil separator, spark plugs etc) and worked with me to source a few other higher ticket item parts (all Volvo OEM) ie timing belt sprockets and engine mount at the BEST price from Volvo OEM part retailers in the region and online. They also gave me a print out of the scanned error codes, and shared their diagnostic / troubleshooting plan. They were very fair, always communicated well, and served me well (didn’t double charge labor once deep in the engine). The cost of maintaining high mileage European cars (I’ve had 4 Volvos total, still have 2 of them) isn’t lost on me. Foreign Auto Clinic is fair in their service pricing (viz labor) and communicate well with their customers sourcing the best OEM parts (local parts stores are limited with European cars).I highly recommend Foreign Auto Clinic for any Volvo or European car owner in the Waco and surrounding area. Davin is an excellent manager and has an outstanding team. Well done folks.Update 19 Dec 24, Foreign Auto Clinic once again took nice care (diagnosis and repair) of my daughter’s 2006 BMW X5. They interpreted the error codes, and fixed what was most important to me. A great shop for the Waco area.
Great communication and good pricing. Had my condenser replaced for the ac, and works awesome. Couldnt be happier. Will diffantly go back on any type of repairs.
It was my first visit to the Foreign Auto Clinic……..it was an excellent experience. They looked my car over and gave me a few items that needed to be addressed. I received a call to go over the list and I picked the ones that I wanted taken care of that day. Service was quick and workers polite and helpful. I will be back!
Outstanding service from the time you enter the office with great performance. They were the only ones I trusted with my Volvo and now with my E 350 Mercedes. A real comfortable atmosphere as well.
They were honest and let me know the car wasnt worth the repairs it needed. They didnt charge a storage fee. Nice, polite people!
Drove my BMW 328I to the shop. The care was going into “limp mode” from time to time. Was told car needed a new battery cable $400 plus installation of said cable $2,200. Told them I would install the cable myself at that price. Went to pick up car, paid them $596.57. I had to have the car towed to my house (the same car I drove to the shop) at my cost. Once I looked at the car, the battery cable only needed to be cleaned. I cleaned the cable and there was no damage at all to the cable. Took the $400 cable back (unopened, in original packing) and requested a refund for a cable I did not need. They said it was special order and no refund would be made. I reminded them that they had said the cable was needed when, in fact, it was not. I offered to take the mechanic to the car so he could see the old cable only needed to be cleaned. He refused. They screwed me but it could have been worse…..I could have paid an additional $2,200 for them to replace a cable that was in good working order. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THE PLACE LOOKS NICE, IS CLEAN BUT THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!
Had my car towed there was told the only problem is the mass air intake sensor. Charged me 200 for the sensor and I found the exact same sensor online for $98 (I saw this after I paid). Told me my battery is also about to go out and mumbled over the phone and the only thing I heard was $403( I thought $403 for everything) It was $403 for just the battery and in total I paid $890. Crooked shop
Very pleased with efficiency and cost of repairs to our BMW x5.
The only place I take my Mercedes to be repaired. A place where I don’t have to worry about being overcharged. They’re very personable and treat you like family.
Save time and money. Take your vehicle with confidence to Central Texas’ home of the most honest, experienced, efficient and best value all around, service professionals in the industry. You will only pay for the services you need. I have my Mercedes serviced there, as for all of my vehicles, regardless of make and model. If you are in need of service, take advantage of the opportunity to do business with FAC. Waco is lucky to have these professionals.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE FOLKSwent in for simple tune up on my mini cooper. they ran diagnostics, put in 4 spark plugs and charged me $346.00 .then they left the radiator fill cap loose and my engine overheated and i had to replace it. they were rude and arrogant. STAY AWAY
It didn’t take them long to change oil and check all other fluids.
Had a great experience with Luikarts! I have a 2011 Volvo C30 with over 110K miles and one day the engine started whistling and vibrating badly. Took it over and Ken immediately knew what was wrong and did a great job repairing- no problems since. The price was very fair after a search online. The folks are very friendly as well- would highly recommend to anyone.
I was honestly a bit concerned when my Lexus LS500 fsport water pump went out over the Thanksgiving holiday while in Waco. I called Luikarts after realizing there was no Lexus dealership close to me. Luikarts was very helpful, identified the problem, communicated well with me during the repair, and did an overall great job. I would trust them 100% with my vehicle again. Good people.
Fixed a misfire on my car..but parts in engine bay that came with car didnt make it back on when picked up air filter box air intake tube..etc surprised its was drivable so many parts.not safe at all fuse box not fastened down in engine bay. If you take your car here check your engine before leaving.I Will not be back.
The only reason I had taken my car to Luikarts was because they had the part my car needed and I could not wait for another auto shop to order it. I was already warned before going in from various other mechanics what to expect with Luikart. I just needed an overhead valve replaced, Instead I got 100 miles of BS from the guy about how everything in the world that could possibly be wrong with a car was wrong with mine and as he put it exactly. This car is done, it wont last maybe more than another month before its done, very bad shape. Not unless you are ready to put some serious money into it that was almost 6 months ago and my car has been running fine since. I made it very crystal clear to this gentleman that I only wanted the valve fixed, I did not have the funds nor the time to be concerned with all the other stuff he was bringing up. Regardless of how many times I stated this to the guy he continued to bring up other things that needed to be fixed, and at one point just before the work was set to begin he contacted me and tried to basically slip in an extra $200 for a part and labor I did not ask for or want fixed. I had to be very firm with him until he finally stopped asking. The guy is a clown.
Highly recommend! Friendly to the wallet and very professional.
I completely trust Luikarts with my daughter’s car. They are transparent, responsive and provide amazing service. I do appreciate their honesty -hard to find nowadays. Cheers to the team.
Brought in a Mercedes for routine maintenance. Owner talked me into an unnecessary water pump replacement. Immediately the car began leaking radiator fluid. Took it back to have them look at it, and they said it was some flange and that they would fix it. Car still leaks. I have receipts and photos. Not going back.
I love Luikarts. I have always trusted Kenny and his crew, and I havent been wrong. I drive a 2001 Ford Sport Track with 260,000 miles and still going strong. Sure, its a great truck, but Kennys service has had a lot to do with keeping it running smoothly and being fuel-efficient. Thanks guys!
I have been TREMENDOUSLY pleased with Luikarts! I came to Waco, TX for Baylor University and wanted to find a trustworthy mechanic that I could rely on being so far from home. I certainly found that with Ken!I have taken my 04 Volvo to Ken for the past 3 years and my car is serviced quickly, the issue is always resolved, and it is for a reasonable price.Recently, I had an issue with my Volvo and Ken was very honest and said that I should take it to the Volvo dealership in Temple, TX, because they could get the part for cheaper than he was able to. He wanted to save me the extra money, instead of taking the business for himself. Then, while it was at the Volvo dealer, I asked those mechanics if they could check out the cars alignment. They drove the car and told me I needed a new power steering rack and that it would be about $4,000!I took it to Ken a few days later and I am SO glad that I did! Ken put the car up on an alignment machine (which Volvo did not do) and found that my control arm bushings were completely worn out on both sides of the car. This was causing the problem and my power steering was fine! He was able to replace the part incredibly quickly and for only $1,000! If I had stayed with the Garlyn Shelton Volvo dealership, I would have paid an obscene price and never resolved the problem!!Also, two years ago, I took my car to Kens and he found that I needed the left front axle replaced. He promptly fixed the problem and had my car returned within a few days. Several months later, I noticed my car was driving a little funny and brought it back to him. He diagnosed that the left front axle had been a faulty part and immediately offered to replace it immediately, completely for free!A previous customer commented that he was concerned with the guarantee of his services, because it is not in writing. Ken always stands by his word and his service! There was never a question whether he would make me pay or not. He immediately offered to fix it, even though it was the part manufacturers fault and not his.I 100% recommend Ken Luikart to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic!!!!!Also, Sandy, the woman that works in the front office, is LOVELY and a joy to see everytime I bring my car in! So, stop by and say hello :)
Ken is great. I was out of town and Ken and his crew helped my wife with some engine oil viscosity issues (caused by me naturally) on our Audi A4 Avant. Cant thank these guys enough.
Lifesaver! Visiting Waco for a wedding. Our 2011 Volvo started making a terrible noise and the Check Engine Light came on. Closest Volvo dealer in Temple. Found Luikarts with google and walked in when they opened. They were stacked up but offered to try to get to it in the afternoon. Recommended another service provider, but when I called them, they gave me the same story. They had cars lined up and probably could not get to it till afternoon and any repairs probably not till the next week. Called Luikarts back with that information, they said come back down and they would at least try to determine the problem. End result. They got it fixed by 4:00p at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend them.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. The people at Luikarts are genuine and don’t try to upsell you. They get things done in a timely manner, they use OEM parts, and they are very patient and willing to answer all of your questions. I’ve gotten all of my spark plugs re done here as well as getting my low beam lights replaced and they have made it such a smooth process. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND.
My daughter is a Baylor student and we always take her car to Luikarts for oil change and repairs. They are so friendly and make every effort to fix your car. If they can’t then they will tell you what you need and where to get it checked out.
Always great to communicate with, friendly, and very informative staff.
Owner charges and arm and leg for parts and labor on euro cars. He capitalizes on the fact hes the only euro mechanic in Waco. Dont be fooled, you can take your euro car to a normal mechanic and theyll do the same work for half the cost. However, if you dont mind paying the price, he does diagnose the issue correctly and has good work with genuine products.
Took my car there to get a oil leak and a light bulb changed. They messed up my headlight and said they didnt do it. And it been rattling every since. Its under Lonnie Alexander
They seem to genuinelycare about your car problems. Call ahead of time to make sure they can assist you. If you have an import this is the place to go. Way better than any of the local dealerships.
Im deaf and the guy was wonderful, very patient. And made sure I understood what was wrong with my car and the cost. They fix her up and was ready before the state time, did the work in one day
Excellent service! After going to several places they finally listened to me here and were able to figure out what was wrong with my car! And they didn’t recommend extra stuff just to make more money.
Lovely staff and mechanics with integrity that have your interest first and not just another sale
Didnt overcharge for parts and labor and did not take too long to get everything fixed. Definitely happy with the service they provided
These guys went out of their way during the holidays to fix our car while we were traveling with kids and a dog. We REALLY appreciate their flexibility and quick turnaround! Awesome place.
Speedy and great customer service. Car was ready same day! Was not cheap but then again it has never been for any repair on this car.
Whoever answered the phone was rude. I did not get past initial phone call to see if they could work on my car.
Very good, found all problems and told me how much before performing the work. It runs like new and has 200000 miles
Super fast and very good quality work
Friendly service & kept us updated. Any extra work needed was cleared with us prior to doing work.
Very friendly and knowledgeable about foreign vehicles
Great service very detailed on information. With great prices here in Waco!! Will start recommending.
I really like this shop. They know what they are doing. I would send my friends here.
These people are honest and fast! I trust them to do the work I want and only suggest work that really needs to be done.
Great place of business with friendly customer service. Prices are very affordable compared to dealership prices
Every time Ive had a vehicle repaired there I have had fantastic results.
Luikarts has been sold! The new place has not changed the signage.
Experienced staff, quick on the schedule, timely notification if accessing parts is a problem.Highly recommended!
