Very professional our AC went out about 3 days before calling them (wish we would have called them sooner) but as soon as they came out we got everything figured out and two days later we where good with a new AC and wife is happy. Only reason it took 2 days is because they had to order our AC because we have a 3 phase in sure if it was a easier install it would have been same day service we definitely will call them for any further services

I kind of feel deceived. When I made an appointment to have my ac serviced there was no disclosure that Stonebridge was brought out by CWoods. The last time I used CWoods it seems like I was taken for a ride when my ac went out shortly after getting it serviced.I found out about the buyout when the tech called me & the caller id said CWoods but the pre-arrival text said StoneBridge. Why would you change the caller id name & leave the logo of the old company on the text?I will not be happy if my ac goes out this summer & have to pay extra money I dont have.

I’ve been a customer for several years called today to ask some questions about my unit and options for the future. Technician got very upset and aggressive, raised his voice. Not appropriate response to a homeowner and recurrent customer trying to understand options with expensive equipment from the installer
I called StoneBridge Htg & AC and requested an appointment with an AC tech. I advised them that I thought the 40 amp breaker for the ac was bad. They sent an ac tech from C. Woods Co with no explanation as to why someone with C. Woods was assigned. The tech was a really nice guy and all but he said we would need to setup an appointment with an electrician to test and change the breaker instead of just changing it out. He then tested the ac compressor with no electricity available and said the compressor was either going bad or was bad. Said it would cost up to $10k for a new ac/furnace system and setup and appointment with a sales rep of which I cancelled. The same day I went to Lowes and purchased a 40 amp breaker for $36 and installed it myself and the ac is running fine (thats not to say the compressor might not go kapoot like the tech claimed. If it does I will come back and update). UPDATE #1 The ac tech may not have been able to change out the breaker because of electricians licensing requirements in Tx.
I had routine maintenance/ tune up done on my 7 year old system and wondered why Jake was pushing the air purifier and UV system as well as a refresh kit for the A/C unit so hard. After a little research and a couple of phone calls I realized that these things were absolutely worth the money and should not only extend the life of the unit, but prevent possible health problems for us. Jake was also showing me photos of the existing nastiness growing and corrosion starting in the unit. East Texas is a humid place. And hot. And cold. The system works hard all year. I appreciate Jake and Keith for their work and believe that our system will benefit from the upgrades.
Nobody likes it when the a/c goes out and it’s 103 degrees outside and nobody is ever ready for the possible cost to bring it back to life! Even with the high heat and a very busy time for repairs, they came thru. Prices for service fee were explained and service was scheduled for the next business day. The office called me with arrival time of the technician and that call was followed up by a text message from the technician introducing himself and his arrival time. Once the system was evaluated, the technician explained everything he was doing and the cause of the problem along with what they would need to do to get it back up and running. Technicians were clean, polite and friendly. Thank the whole staff for maintaining quality, professionalism and value to the customer!
Technician was very knowledgeable. Checked out my unit for efficiency and found nothing wrong. Their $79 tune up special is a bargain. It could head off a problem before it happens. We all know what it’s like to have your A/C go out at the worse time. Will definitely use them in the future. Thanks to Danny - nice guy.
Tech Daniel Espinoza was very knowledgeable and explained to me what might be wrong and the prices to replace various components. Fortunately it was just the capacitor (as he had predicted) so the cost was not high.Daniel is also a great teacher - he explained to the guy working with him what and why and how their procedures are done. I was very happy with Daniel Espinoza and the work done.
I call @8 am when my unit was blowing cool air instead of heat. Daniel arrived at 10 am completed the repair at a reasonable price. Thank you for your promptness and professionalism.

I recently had a air conditioner installed by StoneBridge and I am very impressed with the workmanship and the entire experience I had with them. The installers Mark and Luis were very personable and worked very good together. Both are very knowledgeable about their product and answered any questions I had. I own a business and if these two worked in the field I work in, I would be trying to hire them. Michael, the gentleman that worked with me on the bid process was very prompt and scheduled the installation in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
My fan went out late Saturday night and I put a call in with StoneBridge. Paul called me back very quickly and set an appointment for the next morning. He then called again and gave me a tip to help it cool through the night which I thought was very courteous. Paul was great but the mark up on the capacitor was absolutely ridiculous. Had I thought about it quick enough I would have checked the price and probably shopped for a lower cost or replaced it myself. The customer service and speed was excellent but that mark-up on parts will keep me from using the service again.

Our a/c unit had ceased cooling last night. After checking all of the normal things (batteries in the thermostat, possible tripped breaker, etc.) we realized that we needed a professional. We did not have a heating/cooling company so I looked to Google for help in finding one. I found Stonebridge there and they had great reviews, several from long time customers, so I called them.I spoke to Mike in Service and let him know what we had going on and what wed done so far. Mike scheduled a serviceman to come out in 2 hours time. We also set up routine maintenance on our units for the following week as well as discussing a service plan. I received a call an hour later from Mike letting me know that not only could the serviceman get to us in a half an hour but he could also do the routine maintenance when he came. (If that would work for us.) I readily agreed!The young man who came to service our units quickly found that our compressor needed replacing. Once the part was replaced he proceeded to check out both units thoroughly and took care of topping off our refrigerant. He was friendly, knowledgeable and cleaned up after himself. He explained in writing and verbally everything hed done before having us sign the work order and thanked us for our time before leaving.Im not easily impressed but today I am blown away by the customer service that my husband and I received from StoneBridge. They have earned us as lifetime customers!
Received excellent service from Mackenzie Ryan. He was very informative, professional and friendly. The entire experience was a positive one from the receptionist who received our call and scheduled us, to the technician and the service he provided.
Noticed my house was getting really warm. I went outside to check the A/C unit and found ice on one of the pipes building up. I shut off the A/C and called Stonebridge (because I had heard their radio ads so many times) after normal working hours. They called me back within the hour and talked me through some steps to get my A/C working again. He said that if it was freezing, there is nothing that can be done until it thaws. Told me to change my filter after running the fan for a while. Once I noticed the air was blowing strong again, I turned the A/C on and cool air was restored! The tech just as easily could have come to the house, told me there was nothing he could do and still charge the dispatch fee, but he didn’t. I am highly impressed that he took the time to talk me through the problem on the phone and wasn’t concerned about any charges. They have proven to me that they really do live up to their ads on the radio. Will definitely use them again when needed and will recommend them, always.
They were able to squeeze me in same day, and we able to give me a time slot (unlike another company I had called). They came out and not only did they do incredible work, they were very fair with pricing AND they were able to educate me on a lot of things (first time homeowner). They never made me feel belittled, just gave me a bunch of information. Also got some quotes on different AC units, since I know Im going to need to replace it soon. When the times comes to replace it, Ill be using Stonebridge for sure.
So I’m hearing all these commercials lately where stonebridge comes in and saves the day for these customers that were being done wrong by other companies…. But that wasn’t my experience and I wanna let people know that although they may be the “hero’s” from time to time, they still have their moments of shady!! A few years ago my outside unit went bad and needed to be replaced while STILL under warranty. I bought the house new but it was built before I found it, Stonebridge was the company that the builder used so naturally that’s who I reached out to. They first tried to not honor it because (these are their words) my warranty was “under my name” but misspelled so they didn’t know if they could honor it. I spoke with that persons boss and lost my cool, he then mentioned the “required yearly service requirements” to keep the warranty good…. Yearly service needs that as a new home owner I had NO IDEA about and since they hadn’t been done, they “unfortunately” couldn’t help me. A few thousand dollars lately I had another company replace the outside unit. All that to say, just because they find a few happy customers to put on the radio, doesn’t mean they still don’t do good all the time.Stonebridge responded but I can’t respond to their response. So I said “a few years ago” so 2018 should be about right. They didn’t say anything about screwing me then but did confirm I reached out, just that their “new” management team will work hard to not screw you wink wink.
StoneBridge replaced a 19-year-old HVAC system in my home in January 2020. From my first phone call, through installation and follow-up, everyone at StoneBridge could not have more professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt. Michael Downs, sales / service coordinator, was exceptional in his attention to detail and attitude. StoneBridge is fortunate to have him on staff, and I was VERY fortunate to have him walk me through this major purchase. I would give StoneBridge 10 stars if I could and would not hesitate for a moment to recommend the company to anyone.
I came home to a very hot house at 5:45 PM, called Stonebridge and had someone out in less than 20 minutes. The technician, Cody was extremely helpful, very pleasant, and really informative. We have a super old system and not once did Cody try pushing to sell a new system. Cody simply fixed the issues causing the system to not work and then told me what could be done in the future to have a better system. Very pleased with the work completed.
Signed up for their total comfort club subscription a while back and forgot I even did. Got a call from their office proactively and told me they were coming out as soon as I was available to do a maintenance check on my a/c system. I figured it would be just like a gym who makes money off of people forgetting they even had a membership but Stonebridge actually seemed to care about making sure I was happy and getting a great value for my money.
Stonebridge came out this morning and repaired my AC. Justin found the problem immediately and had it fixed very quickly. What was really amazing was that he got here about 30 minutes after my phone call! Although there was undoubtedly some luck involved in that I called at a good time and they happened to be available, still, I was extremely pleased. The price for repair was very reasonable. This entire service could not have been better.
Had used them I the past but this time I wasnt too impressed. Paid over $650 for a little coolant and a capacitor. Seemed a bit much. Said he couldnt find a leak but it would be $3500 to dig into it. Wanted to sell me a new unit for $8500.Didnt even clean the outside unit or anything. Called somebody else. Cleaned the outdoor unit and worked much better.They have radio ads where they say they can fix things and not just sell new units. Didnt get that vibe.
Our AC went out at 9 PM on a Friday night in the middle of Summer. We were worried it would not be fixed until Monday. We called StoneBridge and the person on the phone was incredibly nice and helpful considering we were calling at 10 PM. Our technician called us back 30 minutes later to set up a visit on Saturday morning. Within minutes he identified the issue. He not only fixed it quickly, he also took a couple minutes to actually explain us what was wrong and detail the cost of repair (parts and labor). So glad we called them!
Call after normal business hours. Technician called back within 3 minutes, Cody was very professional and easy to talk to. Really appreciated being able to talk to someone knowledgeable, without feeling like I was being talked down to. Would definitely recommend.

Stonebridge came out and told me that I needed a new AC unit. Mine was not worth repairing. 30 minutes later I have a salesman at the house with a quote to install a unit as quick as the next day.With second opinion my AC was up and running in about an hour.Beware! I dont know if their techs work on commission or not, but kind of scary.
I wanted to stop down and take a minute and talk about what a great job StoneBridge did on our A/C repair. Moved into our house about a year ago compressor went on our existing system. Reached out to StoneBridge after hearing their ads on KTBB and reading the reviews online. Mike, sales rep, did an amazing job of explaining the costs, details of the components, and at following up, compressor had to be ordered. Even though we had no clue who installed the system Mike took care of the warranty and managed the whole process seamlessly. Paul the HVAC tech and his helper were absolutely awesome they were very professional, thorough, and provided tips on how to maintain our system between their maintenance visits. StoneBridge is the only way to go and they will always get my HVAC business.
Stonebridge took over repairing the AC in my parents condo after 12 1/2 months and several different companies had try to fix it. They were respectful of our family but most importantly, they fixed an ac unit that at least 3 other companies could not figure out. They are awesome!
My AC unit went out Sunday morning. I called Stonebridge and spoke with a gentleman named Cody. He was very helpful and informative about the situation and using my Home Warranty. After several days of dealing with the unprofessionalism from A-US Air that the warranty company wanted to use I called Stonebridge back and requested him out for servicing. He not only fixed the unit (blown capacitor) but also informed me of several other issues that need to be addressed as soon as possible with other wiring in my electrical box. I will definitely be using Stonebridge for any future work and for recommendations to others.
We bought a new system (August, 2019, )after they came out and said our older one could not be repaired. The reason of my call was that every single time the new unit comes on, it makes a very loud noise. The unit has a one year guarantee. The rude person I talked to said that if he decided that nothing was wrong with the noise, that he would charge me for a service call. We also did not receive a new thermostat at installation as the technician said ours was better. Also. They measured wrong for the indoor unit and had to bring something else. Which I am not sure If the price was the same. The newer unit has a higher SEER rating, yet our electric bill is higher due to wattage used. The man rudely questioned me. I told him more than 50% of energy consumption is due to HVAC systems. He said the rates went up. I told him I had the chart provided with my monthly bill from Swepco comparing the usage each month for the past 12 months. And since we got this unit, our bill has been higher. I had to explain my lifestyle changes to him explaining why I know it is the HVAC system. I do not understand this business. When you call. It is a rude man. The advertisement on the radio is a woman explaining the honesty of the company. When you buy a unit, you are given the number of the technician. You talk directly to him. I believe this business is shady. Not honest. And I don’t even believe our old unit was not able to be fixed. They want to sell you a unit that apparently is defective and never honor the warranty. Buyer beware. We ended up calling a local air conditioner company. They said the unit from Stonebridge was not installed properly. Stonebridge charged us for a new thermostats that we did not get. When the heat strip came on. The emergency strip was on too. On the initial visit when we saw water on the floor after they had added Freon…we asked them about the water and they said they were on call and had to leave. We didn’t get a new breaker box that they charged us for. They didn’t give us a new thermostats either and we paid for that. And they refused to reimburse us. It is hard to deal with a business when they are rude on the phone after they get your business. Promises made but not kept
This is our second time to use Stonebridge and we will not be using another company. Stephen came out for our second visit and not only did he fix our problem, he added several knowledgeable tips for maintaining the AC unit. Staff is very respectful, on-time, and intelligent. Would recommend them highly to anyone that needs AC maintenance.
I was having hard time diagnosing my inside handler issues, this was the 2nd company I called. They came out and seen I had a power issue coming into my house, they helped me solve a mystery others havent. He was very nice and helpful and informative! Thank you Cody!

Words can’t begin to express the gratitude our family has to Stonebridge Heating & AC. We bought a beautiful condo unit in a high rise and had one literal nightmare after another with our AC unit. The HOME warranty company sent out 1 new company after another. No one could fix it....well for more than a couple of days at a time. We literally went from the middle of May to almost the end of June with no ac except for a few hours here and there. From the Ms. Kathy, the precious lady who answers the phone, to Mike who helps figure out the problem to Paul who deserves the AC Man Award of the decade...they were all patient and listened closely enough to my stories about all of our nightmares to be able to quickly put a plan into action. These guys are awesome! Called them late Saturday night with AC problem. They came out early Sunday morning and cheerfully fixed my problem within no time - maybe 30 minutes? And the price was the same as it would have been during the week. $89 total. And we live nearly 30 miles away. Thank you very much!
I have met 2 of their technicians. John P. and Chance. I have to say I was highly impressed. They are willing to educate you and take their time to make sure you are comfortable with what is going on. They had me perform a couple of tests after they cleaned/looked at the system to confirm all was well. They explained how it would work and why.Everything did exactly what they said it would. I felt comfortable with them and was so pleased with their pleasant and friendly manner.

We were awakened a couple of evenings back as our house began to warm up. Called Stonebridge the next morning and was told that they would have someone out the same day to look at our unit. A young man named Justin showed up, examined our unit, and to our surprise told us we just needed the capacitor on the condenser fan replaced. We expected the worst and could have been charged for much more, but we felt we were treated very fairly. We were told about their yearly service plan, and what we would save on the current repair. It was a no brainer! Justin was courteous, professional, took the time to explain things he found to us, and as part of the service plan, did a thorough inspection of our a/c and heat. From the beginning when I called Michael Downs, Sales/Service Coordinator, to the two technicians who installed my AC system they were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end.My homes AC system just plain worn out and it was no longer cooling during the hot summer weather. I called several air conditioning companies for bids and installation. No one could work me into their schedule until a week or so later.When I called StoneBridge, the first thing I asked Michael was when he could have the system installed. He said tomorrow. And I said SOLD!! StoneBridge jumped into action and got the job done in a very expedient manner. The technicians were knocking on my door by 9AM the next morning.The two technicians who installed the system were very pleasant individuals who exhibited a very professional demeanor. Mark and Josh didnt waste time. They got to work and were a well coordinated team. Both knew exactly what to do. And their work product was done in a very workman like manner. What else could a satisfied customer ask for? I got prompt service from the sales department and technicians who installed all my heating and air conditioning equipment.The owner of StoneBridge has a good crew that is top notch and should be proud of the good work they do for him. Two thumbs up from this happy customer.Additionally, the price for putting in my new system was the lowest I received from several contractors.And now that my AC has been operating for a few hours, my home is on its way to being very comfortable. I have never been able to achieve this level of comfort in my home since I moved to Tyler. The new equipment made my home much nicer now and will be able to lower the thermostat to a setting more to my liking. I could never get the old AC to achieve 76 degrees. Now my home is cooler than 76 degrees and much more livable. And to top it off, theyre nice fellows.Finally, folks can buy the best AC equipment in the world and still turn out to be lousy AC systems because of poor installation. Having worked in the energy efficiency sector for nearly 30 years, I knew what to look for in the installation. StoneBridge has trained their folks to install AC equipment properly. That is the key to any properly operating system. A properly installed contractors low priced type system will work much better than a high end (expensive) system if it is not properly installed.So if you you hear a lot of negative noise about different brands of equipment, the common denominator is most likely a poorly installed system. StoneBridge does things right.
Paid 89 dollars to have someone come out and tell me something that I already know and told them when I called and made the appointment. Mr.Mike even said that the tech that sent out didnt know anything, so he agreed to send out another tech to look at my ac problems and I told him I would have someone if they called me, but guess what no call and I had to call to talk with someone to see if anybody came out and they say they sent someone out but they didnt feel the need to knock on the to talk to anybody( this is 5 hours after they said they would send out the tech). The next day he called me to tell me that he couldnt fix my problem. This so called ac company couldnt fix an ac problem or just didnt want to. If I was any new customers that needs ac work I wouldnt and mean would not call STONEBRDGE AC COMPANY. Waste of your hard earned money.
Stonebridge is the best choice for anyone in Tyler/East TX. Michael was extremely professional and did absolutely everything he could to make sure we were taken care of and got exactly what we were looking for. They are not cheap but theyre not even close to the most expensive in town. You get what you pay for. They gave us multiple options to try to fit our price range and what we were looking for. I had quotes from several other companies and it seemed that they either gave me the cheapest quote they could make or the highest quote, the did not speak with me about what we were actually looking for like Stonebridge did. I will always recommend Stonebridge to everyone I know.

Perfect! Called on coldest(19°), snowy, icy day, when my heater died. Wasn’t confident in receptionists “I’ll tell ‘em”! Response.A short while later, a repairman/technician/magician, called.He showed up at time he said, diagnosed the problem as a bad motor. He could not repair or replace it😤. Then asked if I’d mind if he bypassed it, to get the unit working. Magician part‼️. He did, it did, and the parts can be ordered and installed in a few days! Now that is customer TOP Care! I’m warm again.
I upgraded my system from an older trane model that was supposed to be more efficient. I went with Stonebridge because they had the best price and were friendly. From the beginning the install was a disaster. 3 call outs to clean up sloppy institution work. from plugged drain pan line to hanging wiring from the outside soffit. And today I was informed I owe a 150 dollar bill because they were called out again to fix a loose connection on the breaker. The connection they made when installing the unit less than 2 years ago. But their institution is only covered for a year. I even asked if that sounds right. Nothing. Silence. Then told again instalation is out of warranty. Very disappointed to put it nicely. I should have kept my 20 year old trane. Never had an issue. Save yourself some frustration and spend the extra money on a reputable company.

Great job. The part wasnt in stock, but they were fast and courteous. I used them several years ago, then tried out someone else. I will stick with Stone ridge. They know what they are doing!
I called today 6/24/2019 and asked for a price to have 16 foot of refrigerant line vacuum to make sure there were no leaks I was told that it would cost between 300 and $500 to have it done. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone .

I had Stonebridge come out for a second opinion because the first company that came out was a perfect example of how not to treat your customer. Kyle from Stonebridge was a perfect example of how to treat your customer and I would highly recommend them for your air conditioning needs.
My a/c was completely out yesterday, I was impressed by the radio commercials i had heard so i gave them a call. I spoke with a nice lady and gave her all of my info, she said she was in accounting and would have the proper person call me back to schedule a tech....I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE, glad i called someone else just in case!

My dad and mom at the time near 80 bought a unit from these guys we had problems with the staff from the beginning! That was 9 years ago I had got some water in my vent and had a local service come out and they found the problem but also everytime metal touched metal it sparked and shocked the guy! These guys did not ground it outside plus they bypassed 1 or 2 safety mechanisms do if something would of went wrong there was no back up safety. And these folks are supposed to be the gurus of air in the tyler surrounding areas
Called to try and see if I could get a tech out. Lady who answered said its the weekend a tech would not come out to just check the capacitor which I told her I believe was out. So no this isnt emergency ac repairs, and not it isnt 24/7.
Jacob did a great job, he explained everything he was doing and got my unit up and running in a short time.
9/26/2019My name is Paul Hildreth and last night to my AC Quit working. The family was at Volleyball game and I had a major exam to study for. I called Stonebridge heating and AC. Paul from Stonebridge called me back immediately and was at the house within 30 minutes. Paul from Stonbridge diagnosed the problem and had me back with the AC working perfectly within minutes and the family was all very Happy. I purchased an Bryan A Preferred 16 Seer 4 Ton heat pump system over two years ago. I have had no problems as of today. Just over six months ago I added the filtration system. The Nerv 16 Pureair system has done wondering for the allergenic peole in the house. With having two dogs it has reduced symptions for my four year old daughter and 75 year old mother who also lives in the house. I would totally recommend this system and most of all this company to anyone looking for a new AC system.

I cant comment on their ability to repair my A/C, as their technician arrived at my communitys security gate with no valid drivers license and was unable to enter. I lost half a day waiting for this and have to reschedule now.
I have had STONEBRIDGE out to service myac at 2 different houses. They are quick and efficient. I had the good luck to have their tech STEVE both times.
They were able to come out the same day and help get my heater working Cody was so helpful and awesome at explaining everything to me!

Hi 5 for technician Cody that came from Stone Bridge Fixed the problem on my AC in about 15 minutes, then diagnosed the problem on my other unit that several technicians had looked at and said I needed a new unit, all I needed was a fan motor And capacitor, I highly recommend this company

They came out on a weekend with my outdoor ac out. This is still 95 degree weather. The company that installed my ac gave me a bit of grief, so I called Stonebridge. Everything cooling off now and I will use them with my remodel!
I experienced poor attitudes and terrible customer service. Also, nobody in their office seems to communicate to one another or the customer. Excessive delay in service was experienced because of this. I will not recommend this business to anyone.

Cody was very professional and thorough with the service. AC needed semi annual maintenance which was postponed because of Covid. Unit froze up and he found evaporator coil was leaking. He got the unit cooling and ordered a new coil. Happy with the service we received today.
