Walker Heating & Cooling is one of the most professional and helpful service providers I’ve ever had the pleasure to deal with. Their knowledge of products and services they provide is unbeatable, not to mention their patience and kindness with customers, as well as thoroughness of the project from the beginning to completion. The quote they provided never varied in pricing, not to mention the cost for replacing my new system was less than any other company I contacted. Purchasing a complete new AC system isn’t pleasant for anyone but they do everything so well and so seamlessly that by the time the project is finished you feel as if the process was not painful at all. I will always call Walker Heating & Cooling anytime I need AC services.

Im pretty impressed with this company. Ms. Leah answered the phone first thing this morning , right after 8 am. She was so nice and was able to get me a technician out here.The same day before lunch. They went out of their way to make sure me and my landlord were in the loop on arrival times. Within 5 minutes of arriving the tech had found the issue. He was transparent about the costs before repairs were made. Super friendly and professional. I will be.Recommending them to anyone I know that has AC issues.

Cody came out for the heater check with the value plus plan, which I signed up for during the August repair. Cody was an excellent technician. He called ahead of arriving and showed up on time as promised. He did a thorough check out and thankfully found everything in order. I’ve been on other companies maintenance plans, and they weren’t as thorough or responsive. When I called for this appointment, Walker offered to come out the next day. Glad I found this company. I would recommend them without reservation.

Excellent service from start to finish. The scheduler was informative and friendly. The service technicians immediately identified the issue with our air conditioning unit, estimated the cost to fix it, and returned the same day to redesign and repair the unit. We hired several other companies to inspect the unit and none of them (including the company who installed the unit) could figure out how to fix it. Walker Heating & Cooling did a professional, amazing, cost effective job and finally fixed our issue in one day! I highly recommend them!

After almost two months of attempts to hire a company to repair the A/C unit at our church we were blessed to be introduced to Walker Heating and Cooling by a member of our congregation. Mr. Walker came out to assess the work on Tuesday and the repairs were scheduled on Thursday. Instant service. I called Walker at 9:00 am because my business was without air. No cold air was blowing. Kody arrived by 12:00 and he was nice and informative. Late in the afternoon, after attempting some ac repairs myself, I gave up and called Walker. It was after 3pm and I had little hope of getting anyone to come out that late.Surprisingly, they had a tech out here within an hour. Curtis diagnosed a dead compressor(20 yrs old) got a cost estimate and within an hour of that, had a brand new outside unit ready for install.Brandon and Manny installed the new unit and had us back up and running.These guys were courteous and professional not to mention good at their job. We will use Walker again and recommend them to anyone!

Our tech, Cody, was prompt and helpful. He fixed our problem quickly and we were back up and running within 3 hours of our call. Trish in the office was very helpful and responsive when I had a question.

My AC would randomly go out so the technicians need to look at it when it’s in a downstate to resolve. This happened after hours and when I called it’s just like their website said, I talked to Trisha and not an answering service. Within the hour Jose was at my house and diagnosed the problem. The next morning they found the replacement part and Kody came out and fixed it. Outstanding customer service!

Hello ,I’ve contacted you to resolve the issue in my apartment for the Ac , the guy cane and said there’s nothing to doI call you number and someone answered me and said we will get back to you , i call her after 30 mins and said the office manger is working on it and she will get back to me , i called her again and this time the office manager responded and said :” stop calling me each 15 min , I can’t solve your issue , when i told her I contacted you many times , she said don’t argue with me and hangup the phone in my face?? Is this what you call customer service, if so , you need to educate your employees on how to deal with customers and solve problems without hanging up the phone because you don’t know what to doI hope someone contacted me from your side explaining why this happened

Be careful after our homes ac went out we called Walker(wanted to stay local) tech. Came out and informed us that blower motor was dead. ($150 for half hour). 6 days later motor came in and tech installed.($450 for 1 hour) no gripe about techs they did a great job but feel we got taken advantage of because of 100 degree days($600 for less then 2 hours labor). Motor was still under warranty so no cost for it. SHOP AROUND!

Called in the early morning was told they should be there by noon. Tech arrived at 11am and had the A/C up and cooling by noon, am very satisfied.

Been with Walker for almost 15 years and they have never failed me. The techs are all very knowledgeable and their professionalism is outstanding. I have a geothermal system that is more complicated than a regular heat pump and Walker is the only company I trust to maintain it.

Purchased a complete, new, name brand, efficient heat pump system from Walker two seasons ago. Their system was priced significantly less than the competitors I shopped. There have been a couple of hick-ups with the system but it was a manufacturing /mechanical warranty issue and not an installation issue.The system has saved a significant amount on energy over the replaced older system. I have had to have emergency service twice and the latest time was today on the hottest day of this year so far.I was expecting a 5-6 hour wait for the technician to arrive. I was pleasantly surprised that they had my system up and running again in less than three hours from my initial phone call. Great service today on the hottest day of the year so far. Thanks again.

I have gone through many air and heating service companies over the past 8 years, only to be disappointed with unprofessional service and technicians telling me I needed a new unit. Used these folks recently. When I talked them I was told, Were not the cheapest & were not the most expensive. They also said they really value their customers & will always try to make it right. That has certainly been my experience. I believe that in most cases you get what you pay for. We got a very good quality product, they were very timely, very professional, very friendly -- were planning on using them again. Also, we had a small issue (not their fault but a part that ended up needing to be replaced). When I called them about it, they said theyd send somebody right over. I told them the next day would be fine (since it was at the end of the day when I called them). I was very impressed with how seriously they took my minor complaint. The next day they came over & resolved the issue by replacing a part at no charge & with no hassle at all. Couldnt be happier with them! Highly recommend them! P.S. Ask for Joseph. Hes a hard worker with great customer service!

Called them out at 9:30 on a Saturday night due to our AC not cooling. He gave us a recommendation even though it would make him less money. He came back the next morning and did an evaluation of our old system and gave us some recommendations. Really enjoyed working with him. Honest, fair and very responsive!

This is a great company. If you want it done right the first time go with these guys! The last company (Chandler Air) that messed with my A/C put to much 410B Freon which caused 2 capacitors to fail. This company found the issue and was able to repair on the spot. No out of stock parts ect. They had all parts on hand. Tech also talked with me on the cost of the repair before doing the repair unlike the other company. Great, professional company that cares about you!

Had garage split unit installed. Very professional and beat the price of everyone in town. Loved this company. Also had an issue several months later where main AC unit broke and in process of finding install company called Walker. The pump on our lift station went out setting off the shrill alarm about 4:00 on a weekday afternoon a couple of months ago. I called my usual plumber, but they were too booked to come. I went through my list and called two or three others who were also too booked. Thank goodness one of those plumbers gave me the number for Walker. They answered the phone and said they would send someone out within two hours. Jason came and worked until dark to figure out the problem. He had to order a new pump and made quite a few calls trying to find one in the area. He told me he would drive to Dallas the next morning if he couldnt find one in Tyler. The next morning he arrived with the new pump he had located in town. Weve had a few other problems since that first call and each time the phone is answered promptly and Jason has arrived within one or two hours of the call - and it seems that problems never happen during business hours! Thank goodness we found Walker H&C!

Replaced a Gree mini split that was not working properly for the area. Walker came out inspected not once but twice. Brand new home and the original HVAC company that did the install one year ago never fixed the issue. After another summer of no AC upstairs - Walker came in and fixed us right. TLDR: Honest, Consultative, Professional, with great financing options.We found ourselves without AC in the middle of the summer while hosting 7 people at our house. I called at 3am, someone picked up and sent someone over early the next morning (Sunday). Our HVAC was from 1972 so wed been planning a full replacement and moving it to the attic to get it out of the way so we could knock out the wall in which it existed. Dustin (the owner) was very consultative and conversational. When presenting the options to me, he presented 4 options from least costly to most expensive. As I prepared for his sales pitch, I heard him say, With the age of your house and the design and manufacturing used for building, this (*points at least costly option*) is your best option. Anything else would be wasting money on something you dont need.I really appreciate his honesty, integrity, and candor. On top of that, theyre professionally run and have great financing options (we took him up on the 18 month at 0% interest option). Were looking at putting in a mini-split in our garage and hell be the person we call.

My fan motor was replaced and all work was performed in a professional manner.

Walker Heating & Cooling has installed new units on two of my homes, and preformed routine maintenance on multiple occasions. Ive always been happy with their honesty and pricing. Their techs are always professional, and I dont ever have a concern with them in my home or that of my tenants. They take care to wear shoe coverings when entering my home from outside, and always leave my home looking as it was before they arrived.

Our air conditioner was not cooling so I called a company who at one time was very reliable. He examined our unit and determined we needed a cicuit board. He said he would have it Monday ( this was Sat.) we waited all that next week. I called and was told he would have to order it. Having had good experiences with Dustin Walker, I called and within a few hours, Josh came and found a wire that had burned into. He fixed it and there was no need for a circuit board. A service gentleman came to our house and tested the system with a device that acts as a thermostat, we were told the problem was only with our thermostat and that it needed to be replaced (Without plugging in the thermostat). We were told they do not install thermostats unless it is one they provide (they were very expensive). We installed the thermostat and still no heat. We had an electrician look at the system who told us it was in-fact the HVAC system and specifically the transformer. I called Walker Heating and Air to see if they could waive their $79.99 service call fee because the problem was the transformer i.e the HVAC unit. The employee I spoke with told me there was no way the problem was the transformer when they were there and they could not help. I advised that I would have no problem calling another heating and air company to fix the problem but wanted to give them a chance since the problem was in fact with the HVAC system and they had already been out there. He told me to call someone else. I highly recommend using anyone other than Walker Heating and Air for your heating and air needs.
