Mr. Chill has helped me with decisions on my Central Air Conditioning for years now. They gave me specifications on Heat Pumps. My heat pump produces nine times the heat for the same amount of power as strip heaters! The unit has paid for itself! I had my first problem with the unit in years yesterday. Daisy had Francis the tech out the same day. I had the extended warranty that covered everything for 10 years. Mr. Chill has been amazing! I highly recommend them!!

New home and selected Mr Chill for the install of ac unit. They had unit available and worked around our schedule to install in a timely manner. No hold ups here. Work was very professional and they cleaned up the area very well. 1st class operation.

Absolutely recommended 1,000%. Fast, friendly and amazing service. AC blower has been out since 9/14/24 and they came out quick to tell me the problem and fixed it in no time. Mr.Chill came out to install a new unit this June, the two photos with no skirting are showing the unit as they installed it week one. The photos showing the house with skirting are a month from installation of the unit. I was concerned because of the base of the unit. From day one it did not look built up enough to support the condenser longterm. One month later we are seeing wash out already from recent rain. When I asked if Mr. Chill could do anything for us I was told that they have nothing to do with that. I understand that they cannot control the weather. But they can control the set-up of their units. I feel as though my unit was set up to fail from the start. Maybe if you start with a level foundation you wont have a problem with your install with Mr Chill? But who knows. Just wanted to share my story and experience with Mr. Chill.

Francis was prompt, courteous and professional. He completed our Fall furnace check up and even offered to come back to install our filter, which we had forgotten to purchase. We’ve done business with Mr. Chill AC for almost 15 years and they’ve always done a great job with reasonable prices. I highly recommend Mr. Chill AC.

My experience with Mr Chill has been a pleasant one. They were the ones who installed my unit and have serviced it for me. In all instances they have been very caring, quick and professional. The office personnel are receptive, and call back when they say they will. The technicians communicate their location/eta with you. They arrive in a clearly marked company vehicle, dressed in identifying uniform, nice appearance and very respectful not only to me personally but also my home and property.

Rudy did great job at my parents residence. They and I were highly impressed with his professionalism and how he able to throughly explain the job itself. I would recommend him and Mr. Chill to anyone looking for a AC technician.

Technician was very professional and explained everything in detail. I had him hook up a new thermostat and one other small job. It’s a less than a half an hour to do both. I thought the extra charge of $250 was excessive.

Just purchased a brand new mobile home. Ive been waiting for 3-4 weeks to install the new AC in. My husband is on disability and needs ac because of his health. I have call the company and the mobile home where we have purchased the home. Either Im not getting response back or all I get the answers back say the unit is on back order. I have never understood that or they couldve just get another unit or something. This is unexceptable.

Mr. Chill is just that Chill. From the technicians, today was Francis, to the office customer representatives were mannerly and efficient. Francis was on time, kept me updated, as to what he found or didnt after inspecting my unit. I’m so appreciative for Mr. Chill. This company worked promptly and swiftly to replace my air conditioner during feel like temperatures above 100 degrees in mid July. Melissa and Olivia in the office were in constant communication with me throughout this whole experience. Dustin came out and went above and beyond to diagnose the problem. Javier and Brice then came and quickly installed my replacement unit and were so nice and courteous. Every person I came in contact with were such professionals and friendly. We had a new heat pump a/c unit installed today.Everything went great!First things first, called them 2:00 pm and they scheduled me in for 8:00 am that next morning!That was super great news.Called me 7:45 to let me know they were on their way, Super great news!Installer arrived and introduced himself and got straight to work. Great customer service! Texas heat is no joke!! My AC unit was leaking water. And we all know, no air-conditioning in the summer can be very bad! They came out quickly, and had my whole system chemical washed. It took a couple hours but Curtis (technician), was very respectful and worked very hard to get our unit back up and running. I kinda thought the price was high, until I seen what all this gentleman just did!! I even bought a membership so they could service my AC twice a year.

Delivery of the unit was great. However, some of the vents in the house are not blowing air. If air is coming out of the vents, it’s not blowing very strong. All vents are open.

Arturo and Chris with Mr Chill were extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and just plain nice. They showed up when they said they would (which is a blessing since I had 2 contractors pull a no show/no call yesterday on scheduled appointments). They answered every question I had, went over the systems, and even pointed out an error they caught in the breaker box. I would highly recommend Arturo and Chris for any Mr Chill services. I very much appreciate great customer service from nice people. They were great.

My 4 year old unit. It stopped working at 10 months of ownership. Called them for warranty and they sent a tech who only replaced wires did not fix the leak. Now my unit looks like this. All the electrics are in a puddle the same as when I called them two years back. Assumed they took care of the issue. Avoid this place if you want a long lasting unit with honest service! Update: I spoke with their service and operations managers , they maintain that there documents show no signs of reported water damage on service reports. That was the very reason I had called them, for the water leaking out the unit at 10 months of ownership. They will commit business fraud be warned

Our technician Gavin was amazing. He was extremely friendly and thorough throughout the entire process. He answered all of my questions and concerns with ease and was extremely knowledgeable. At the end of the install he went through all of the warranty/maintenance requirements/recommendations and explained them in laymans terms. I couldnt ask for better service.

The employee who came out and worked on our AC unit did an excellent job, was very helpful and friendly, and a hard worker. The only complaint has nothing to do with the service call orvpart replacement itself only with the charging of both the service call fee and motor replacement when other companies would only have charged the latter. While I appreciate the prompt service and again the technician who came out did an excellent job, the double fee does have me considering where the money will be going in the future

The techncian came to check the AC unit for me due to a loud noise in the outside unit. I am not sure why he moved the pan where the AC drips which caused four leaks in three rooms in my house. And I started having all kind of problems with the AC. Dont use these people, coz you do not know if they mess up things on purpose so you can keep calling them

Our heating wasnt working in our new home so we called Mr. Chill. From the first phone call through getting it fixed everyone was courteous. It was fast and easy. Gavin, our contact to fix the thermostat was polite and professional. He was well mannered and fixed the thermostat and then took the time to explain and make sure I understood how to use the new thermostat. 10/10 would recommend.

Unfortunately I have to change my 5 Star review to a 1 star after having issues with my install less than 2 months in. I had a service call due to poor cooling. Tech came out and said system was overcharged and let some out. Cooling never changed to appropriate level so system runs 20hrs per day. Called back and they want to charge me $199 to come out just to diagnose what they missed only 3 weeks ago. Then couldnt even tell me when they could come out.Sorry...you lost my business and referrals to my clients.

Mr. Chill serviced us quickly and efficiently. They notified us via phone prior to their arrival and were able to do the job while my husband and I were at work. They informed us they tested out the system- heat and AC several times to make sure it worked properly. Would recommend their service.

Had a very good experience, lots of communication before visit, they were able to see me very quickly, the technician was on time, smart, respectful and took time to check everything and explain what the issue was, even when it turned out that I probably needed a plumber instead of AC. I’ve been looking for an HVAC company who don’t immediately seem to be tricking you into spending more money than you need to and I think I finally have! I will be starting their maintenance program and using them for future repairs.

The company to the techs were a pleasure to deal with!!! company answered all questions and were quick to send out techs to fix any issues we had we had a tech(devin) who originally installed the AC unit had a few problems so he did some thorough trouble shooting found the issue they sent a tech (Andres) who came on a Saturday was quick and efficient worked in the rain and got the job done these two techs definitely knew their job and did a great job on caring on getting the job done correctly definitely would recommend this company to others

Dustin was kind and respectful during the installation. He helped me by taking all the cardboard boxes that was in house from the move. Mr. Chill initially installed my unit in January 2018. I recently had a company out through my home warranty which decided they were not going to cover cost of replacement of condenser coil. To make long story short I called Mr. Chills office with some questions and because they have been so helpful are letting them do the work and dropping the useless home warranty. This company is very customer centric and will recommend to everyone I know.

The service tech was very good and professional. He and his brother did the original install of the new indoor and outdoor unit. The office is unprofessional and does not want to honor the warranty. Suppose to cover parts and labor for 10 years. New office staff wants to argue.

I’ve used Mr Chill company to do full house AC installations and for repairs. Always a satisfied customer. Josh fixed my one and only issue with my Bosch variable speed AC which needed a board to be replaced.

I have had Gus from Mr. Chill on 2 calls within the last year. ON both occasions he exceeded expectations. The first visit my AC unit died and he did everything he could to get a replacement on the same day. The Second visit he addressed a blower motor issue on my inside unit. I called Mr. Chill because my mother’s heater was not working. They were able to get an agent out same day. Mr. Gavin did an amazing job checking the unit and throughly explaining to my senior mother what he found and providing a temporary solution until the part ordered is delivered. He followed up by calling me to explaining the problem, and solution in case my mom did not understand. Mr. Gavin is very resolute and transparent. Would recommend without hesitation.

After installation, Gavin took the time to point out what we should look for, monthly maintenance and took time to explain how to use our ECOBEE thermostat. The job site was left clean.We were told about Mr. Chills other services available.

The guys came out and knocked it out the park. I had my american standard accuclean filter boxes replaced with media filter boxes. Came out perfect and now no more cleaning those nasty electronic filters. They even added soft starts to the AC to give me a few more miles on the system. I would not hesistate to use this outfit again, i reached out to several Katy Ac companies and nobody wanted to touch the conversion, these guys didnt back down. Thank you and job well done.

I am a home developer, and Ive been using this company for almost 10 years. I allow them to service my personal home and all of developments. They install approximately 75 units a year for our business. Overall, they are excellent! Mistakes happen, but Ive always been able to get them resolved, and if needed, supervisors make it right. I do not expect perfection. I expect honesty, quick service, open communication, and customer first driven business. I would not replace Mr. Chill with a competitor.

I CANNOT say enough good things about Mr. Chill. I had them out to fix my old (13 yr) unit, they fixed me right up. Then because the unit is/was old a mth later something else went out. After months of AC problems and outrageous quotes, we hired Mr. Chill to replace our AC/heating system. They were swift, professional, and had very reasonable pricing. I would 100% recommend them to anyone!

I used this place 5 months after I bought my home and had a brand new unit installed (supposedly by them). The transformer blew out behind my house and my air would not work. Called Clayton homes and they said call them. Mind you it was hot as heck last September had a man come out stated it was my blower motor. Told me they would order and left. Waited 2 days and called them as I did not receive a call was told it was ordered had not come in yet. Finally they called late day 3 and said it was in but since was an act of god was not covered under my warranty! That it would be 556 and could have someone out the next day to install. Great sent someone out paid that amount and then about 40 min later my office was flooded from water pouring out the wall behind the air conditioner closet. Luckily the man was two doors down fixing another blower motor that went out from the same transformer blowing up. Came back and said something about it was due to condensation and got it fixed. Now fast forward to now one yr later and I have water pouring out in the hallway called them again Thursday evening came out Friday around 12. Oh and stated it was not under warranty after one yr after I know I registered it for the 10 yrs! This guy believe same guy as last yr said it was something to do with the coils and he would send it in and if I called on Monday (as the office people were on lunch then) they would tell me if it would be covered by warranty. Called today at 1 she was just then going to look and see if it was covered!! Just then when they should have done that Friday if it was them that didn’t have air they wouldn’t have waited! Anyhow 3 hours later she calls and says it’s gonna be 2300 to repair cuz it was not covered then states I did not register it! Ummm nope I did even sent the email with every model number and serial number on the outside and inside unit registered! And it stated coils are covered until 4/18/32!! She says oh no this is a N number you didn’t register that! I have no N number anywhere! Anyhow this place is a rip off they charge you what they want they did not look anything up! They just want your money use at your own risk! Horrible customer service as well! I literally had to do their job for them and then they still made excusesUpdate: New people came out today it was a hole that shouldn’t be there. Possibly a new drip pan which in total is 460! Not even the coils like I said they rip you off!! Oh an also they said it was installed incorrectly which guess who installed it…. Mr. Chill

Very dissatisfied with the lack of customer service, responsiveness and or general concern. Our unit was cooling, (74) just making a noise-told almost a month ago we needed a new blower motor, which had to be ordered. Replaced 9/11-night of 9/11 house 85 degrees. Unable to get anyone out til the next day; however the “technician knew it wouldn’t work without a new capacitor.” 9/12 new tech out-replaced-unit froze-back out in evening-94 degrees in house. $250 in hotel costs thus far-and no fix and no idea when the parts may be in and/or approved by warranty company. Zero sense of concern/urgency. Left on perpetual hold and calls not returned. For a company to pride themselves in customer service and getting things done right the first time-Iam less than impressed!!

Andres, customer service was exceptional, he just made my day, he was super knowledgeable with my issue, which was caused by my install technician. Its employees like him that dont get the recognition thats deserved. Thank you for sending him to correct the noise in my AC unit, and also for connecting my heating system, which was never done.

Sloppy work. they sent a guy out to hook up the condenser on a new home. they connected the wiring with wire nuts and were to lazy to make the connection inside the control box, instead the connections were made outside the control box, exposed 230 volt wiring, left a hole in the bottom of the house where the drain line is. they did not have enough insulation to cover the coolant line so the just covered it with tape. the boss man claims I was being picky and did not want to come back. he tried to claim it was the guy who disconnected the unit before it was moved. I had to threaten to call the state licensing board for failure to maintain mechanical integrity . they did finally come back but did not fix the insulation of the coolant line.

I had an issue with my A.C System not working. Something to do with the Motor that turns the ac fan inside the home. I called , Mr Chill, and they were out within a couple of hours.Our A.C rep named, Andreas came in put those meters on the circuit board.And, found the problem in mins. And with the hour.The A.C was blowing Cold air again.He was very Professional and timely. No issues what so ever.I have used the Mr Chill Folks about 4 xs akready.I have Never had any concerns.They come in and get right to the problem.But, this Andreas guy was really great about everything.Thank you Mr Chill, again.

My ac quit cooling late Friday evening. I left a voice mail. 7 am sat morning Dustin called me saying he was on his way (I live 2 hrs from the shop). He got here by 9 ac was cooling before 10. I paid the bill with a check. I tried to give him a $20 cash tip for being so responsive ( Tx heat has been hitting 100 everyday) but he refused to accept it. Now that is great service. I’m impressed with his work ethic and hope his superiors see this review

After a recent cold snap in Houston, Gus and his people did an excellent job in finding the heating issues with our new Bosch HVAC. He needed to come multiple times but never left us without an operating system.

The company that build my house used them to put in my ac and the ducting came off the system so it was blowing under the house. I called 2 times and its been several days since and still not heard back from them.

I called Mr chill regarding my AC Friday. They were able to send someone out on Saturday. A Technician named Eric came to look at my AC and was able to help get it running before he left. I had to come write a review for him because he was the kindest technician I have met. He went above and beyond, more then I could ask of him. He was able to answer all my questions and made sure I understood what was going on with my AC unit and if he was unsure of the answer he did not b.s. you, he called the person who would know the answer. Our A/C went out at the most inconvenient time- the evening our family came to town to visit from out of town. I messaged Mr. Chill that night and heard back right away that someone would be out the next day to check it out. The temperature got up to 85 degrees in our house the next day so thankfully our technician got here and found the problem right away- that we needed a new condenser. He replaced it in no time and almost immediately the house started to cool down and within about 2 hours the temperature was back down to 73, thank goodness. Now we have some happy guests! I highly recommend this company!

They came to check the unit and they caused a mess. They are very rude and unprofessional. When I called to complain, the lady who answered the phone, Lisa, and the manager Marc were only defending their tech without even trying to listen or resolve the issue. Even though I have photos with dates and times and it shows that all the mess happened after their visit. Don’t use this company. You will end up paying more at the end.

Wow, what can I say. They provided prompt service for me. When I found an ac unit not cooling I called around for estimates. They were all over the place in pricing. Some wanted to charge for coming out just to look. Fortunately I ran across Mr Chill, right here in Tomball. They were prompt and professional in the evaluation of my problem. Once the diagnosis of the problem was complete they gave me a fair turnkey estimate. I was pleased and had them complete the job.I recommended them to everyone I can. So if you need ac repairs or even a replacement call Paul or Chris and give them an opportunity to bid the job. Youll be glad you did.

NO NO NO.... I do not recommend this company. My parents just got their A/C installed January 2020 and are in their late seventys. Purchased a brand new home. Giving them the run around on warranty. Just not right!!! Use a company who cares about their customers and not just in it for the sale. I do not even want to rate 1 star.

Extremely disappointed! Our air conditioner was installed by Mr. Chill one year ago. The breaker kept going off in the heat of the day so we called them out several times and they were continually telling us that there was nothing wrong with our AC.They also stated that they would come out again but they would charge us for the visit even though it’s still under warranty. We finally got smart and had another air-conditioning company come out and they finally fixed our problem. Since it’s under warranty I will legally pursue to have them pay for a repair from the other company since it’s under warranty.Edit: The owner made things right by reimbursing us for the money we had to spend to get our air conditioning fixed by another company.

After purchasing the protectors, our unit has stopped working for the second time. We’ve only been in our home for 2 months. A technician was sent the first time it stopped working to install the protectors and fixed the issue, second time we were told TWICE on different days someone would come it has been a week and still no one has showed up. The TECHNICIAN told me at this point I have to call the electric company because of the outages but how are they going to fix our issue?????? It’s like these people don’t ever want to work their customer service is horrible as soon as they answer the phone they talk to you rudely, don’t let you finish talking or even give you a solution. What a joke of a company.

Everytime I have called.. the person on the phone Belinda is not professional. Ive had to deal with her everytime Ive called! She is rude and has a tone when I ask questions.. and when Im done and say thank you and goodbye.. she just hangs up! I hadnt said anything but today she just ticked me off! I really dislike people like that.. if you cant be nice and have great customer service, you are in the wrong field.

Their AC units do NOT cool sufficiently. After purchasing a mobile home, Mr. Chill installed a substandard unit that does not cool enough, even though I requested a bigger unit. Their policy is; they will only install what the home manufacturer recommends, not anything over even half of a ton. So during the heat of the day, my AC unit runs constantly to keep the house at 75 degrees. I recently purchased a new larger home and I requested an AC unit that could provide a temperature between 60 and 67 degrees, which is the optimal sleeping temperature my physician at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital recommended. My home dealer uses Mr. Chill and after explaining my situation, they refused to do the work, which will only make me assume that their AC units are substandard!!! They did NOT provide me with any solutions, they did not provide me alternatives they just refused to provide the service! They might be fine if you don’t care if your AC unit will run all day and the unit will not cool your home enough. As far as I’m concerned and this is my opinion only.... THEY ARE NOT WORTH USING!!! I wish I could give the ZERO stars!

Mr. Chill replaced our AC unit in April 2020 and we have been very happy. Their recommendation to purchase a 2 stage until for our 32k sq foot house with one unit was a great idea. We have more even cooking upstairs and down, the unit is quieter and our energy Bill has been consistently lower. Thanks Mr. Chill!!
