Angel & his 4 member crew from Crossways Mechanical were prompt, very courteous & extremely hard working! His entire team was respectful towards us & respectful of our home. After working for several hours, Angel asked me if it was ok to work until they completed the job…I agreed, so they worked extra hours well into the night to complete our hvac job because it was a big job. Weve been customers since Crossway opened its business. We had the furnaces inspected today. The technicians arrived as scheduled and went through each of the systems. They took the time to review their reports and answer questions.

They came on time. Spent 2.45 hrs diagnosing our hvac system. Made recommendations. Made sense. Provided follow up.

I am extremely grateful for Crossway Mechanical. They solved my AC issues. These guys are thorough and honest. Before them I had 5 different AC companies try and determine why my AC wasn’t cooling. They all had different reasons why it wasn’t cooling. Everything from replacing my unit to having an additional unit installed was suggested. Brian and Joey spent an hour determining my issues. First more coolant need to be added. All 5 previously said the coolant was fine. Immediately the house was cooling. He told us our duct work was faulty and not distributing the air correctly. In the follow up visit, he gave me a packet of pictures, explanations and diagrams of the problems. He explained everything in detail and showed me the issues in the Attic. Angel and the person that was working with him did a great job today. They were helpful and friendly and my evaporator coil is now replaced with no freon leaks present and they showed me some stats about my ac that were educational and I appreciated that a lot.

My regular guy hadn’t scheduled for over a week and wasn’t available once the unit went down completely so I had to scramble. Crossway sent a tech out right away. I felt so lucky! They had our hard-to-find capacitor. Up and running in 100°+ temps before the house heated up!Two days later, I had to call them back. Still in the 100s, they were able to find a tech to send in a few hours. It was a warranty issue fixed THAT DAY! They actually sent another team member to pick up the part and deliver it for install. I felt so lucky!In addition, Crossway has a reasonably priced annual contract that includes two visits and discounted rates in parts and additional services.

Had a significant amount of work done by Crossway’s crew in only half a day. They did what they said they were going to do and job quality looks good. Brevin supervised the install and explained the new system. Would use again.

Crossway Mechanical just completed a large three-day job installing a new AC system, reconfiguring ductwork and adding an integrated dehumidifier. Brian and his team are very different from every other AC company we have used over the past 30 years. He and his team solved our humidity and colling problem by taking system measurements, evaluating our whole home needs and designing a properly configured system. Brian invests in his staff and their equipment. The installation crew takes great pride in their work and takes the extra time to do the install the best way possible without cutting corners. After the equipment was installed, they took many air flow measurements to make sure the system was working within design parameters. This is the company to hire to fix the problems the others have created and get your house air quality to the level it should be. Our homes air quality has been improved greatly. One of the most professional companies I Have ever dealt with. They were on point, very knowledgeable about the air conditioning and the problem. I had another appointment that I could not miss and they went to buy the parts came back and fixed my air conditioner without my being there. When I came home the air was on full and functional and cool. I recommend them highly and I promise I would’ve left my key if I had another to let him in but he said he did not need access to the inside as he left the unit running turned off the breaker so that we wouldn’t damage the condenser and when he returned continue to fix. Family owned & operated!! Honesty, integrity, fair pricing& excellent work. When my AC went out, other companies quoted me for a new system. Although my system was 20 yrs old, Brian told me he felt it was just a fuse. He gave me an electricians number and 2 Hours and $60 later, I had AC again. This was a great experience. All options were explained in detail in a way that I could understand and all my questions were answered in a professional way. Brian came to my house on time as well as the work crew. All work was performed as detailed on the quote and there were no surprises after the work was completed. Brian came by to inspect the install after the job was completed. The was one item overlooked and he promptly set up a visit the next day to complete as promised. I did a complete install- took out existing system to bare floor and installed all new. Not only did they do the install, but spent an extra hour or more to verify all performance criteria fell within or exceeded specs. I am very pleased with my service by Crossway Mechanical. We had a terrible experience first with the contractor our home warranty company sent out. Our condenser coil was bad, and on backorder with the manufacturer for six weeks. The other contractors tech was rude upon his initial diagnostic visit, he was unfamiliar with our system, and he did not even go into the attic. He was condescending and not cooperative with my questions. After he left, the owner called and told us no supplier anywhere in town had the part we needed. We then called Crossway Mechanical at our own expense, who sent out a much more professional technician. Their office was able to locate the part we needed in about an hour, and got it on order immediately. They scheduled the repair and sent out another great tech. He arrived right on time, he got the work done and made sure everything was functioning properly before he left. Even if we had not had the awful experience beforehand, Crossway Mechanical did great work, on time, and were professional in doing it. I would recommend them absolutely to anyone needing quality, urgent HVAC work done.

Had an emergency AC issue around 8pm on a Saturday. Unfortunately, the on call service tech was already tied up with a previous customer. So, Brian personally showed up to get started. Let me sum it up - professionalism, courtesy, and fair prices. These are the guys I’ll be using from this point forward.Update: Jose showed up for my 2nd appointment, during normal business hours, to resolve the issue, as previously discussed with Brian. After the second appointment, I am convinced this is the company to use for your AC needs. Jose found an issue that was missed last year by my previous AC company and the original installer. As a good consumer we interviewed 3 companies to replace our old AC units. Per co-workers experiences we contacted Crossway to be one of companies we interviewed. Randy came and evaluated our AC units and gave us an education and not only told us, but showed us what was wrong with our units. He went the extra mile to help us, so it was a simple choice to select Crossway Mechanical, not for 1 unit, but for both of our AC units.Day 1 of the install, the install team, 5 guys arrived 10 minutes early and knew exactly what they needed to do. They never saw the house before, but because a plan was already developed they knew what had to be done. They wasted no time putting down floor protection and getting to work. The install team worked through the cooler, wet weather for about 11 hours the first day. At the end of the day they even cleaned up stuff that wasnt even there mess.Day 2 the weather had more rain and was even colder, but the team was back, again 10 minutes early and went back to work putting down floor protection and continuing where they left off. They worked about 9 hours on day 2. Randy inspected the work and helped them fine tune an item or 2, then Randy sat down with us and went over everything. Again Randy was very helpful and was able to explain in terms we could understand.They do have to come back when the weather is warmer to fine tune the AC portion and check the freon level. Weather was too cool to do it properly. No fault on them, just something we have to do due to weather.Both days they worked as quietly as possible knowing I worked from home and had conference calls. They were very respectful of my work.So far we are a very, very happy customer. We are looking forward to there bi-annual service visits, as I am certain their professionalism will remain the same.

Brian and his team are amazing! My downstairs AC went out at a very inconvenient moment; right before I had to bake a wedding cake. They started the work on time and finished sooner than expected. Brain has been invaluable in helping us consult on our project in WI. He has been able to coordinated with us and our contractors to help best balance our house. We have had major mold issues and Brian is s wealth of knowledge on what to do with the HVAC to help us manage our house properly.

As is always the case, our A/C went out sometime between 8 and 10 PM on Saturday night during a holiday weekend. It can never be Wednesday at 10 AM. In any event, Jose with Crossway called me at 7:30 Sunday morning (Mothers Day) to let me know he could come take a look. Brian and his team did a thorough job of diagnosing the problem, suggesting the solution and executing on the agreed plan. The team arrived on time, conducted themselves professionally and finished the work before time. The invoice we received had a detailed description of all the work they did to replace the two gas furnaces. Crossway has been servicing my HVAC twice a year for the last 10. Their Techs are alway punctual and professional. They may make service recommendations, my system is ancient, but Ive never felt like they were trying to sell me something. Joey has been here for the last three check-ups. Worried I wouldnt make it through another summer. Received two other quotes before going with Brian. He took the most time getting an accurate quote together, and seemed the most passionate about his business.The install went smoothly. I had all the duct work/vents replaced and added attic insulation as well as having the heat and AC systems replaced. Pretty big job. They worked reasonably clean and quiet. And hard! They were here over six hours before taking a break.I had a fairly high-end system installed and it has been working great. Its very unobtrusive. Barely a sound! And looking at my electric account, were using less power. Maybe it will pay for itself?!

Searching for the right people was tough, but I believe my family has found a great AC company for life. The review may be long but if youre having the same issues we were, this could be helpful.Below is my initial reach out to Crossway late at night after digging through many companies trying to find the right one.I bought a home recently in Magnolia and now that were in summer. My home wont keep cool. Im not sure if it is solely an AC issue, insufficient insulation, or what the problem is. Even with AC on the house still warms up to 82F during the day. Ive had two different companies visit and a total of 3 different people look at things. The first company came out and seem to be unsure but suggested my condenser might be going out and that I needed refrigerant. After this company visited, our AC went out and the 2nd company said our control board shorted. A third guy (2nd person from the second company) came out to replace the control board, took a look for a few minutes at the outside unit and said everything looked like it was working fine. I am in search of an experienced rep from an experienced company to come out an take a look through my home at the different areas that may be affecting my cooling problem and provide solutions on how I can remedy the situation. I am at my wits end and with a wife and kids at home all day, it is a very uncomfortable place to be during the day in the middle of summer heat blazing down on us. Please help!Crossway reached out to me the next day and set-up a visit. When Brian visited my home, he seemed to understand almost instantly what issues were causing our warming problem in the home. He walked me through my home and pointed out his areas of concern as well taking me through the attic area and discussing further issues that needed be addressed.I gave Brian the go ahead and when they came out to do the work, he and his team were very courteous, professional, and cleaned up after themselves each day of work. The work took two and half days to complete which involved new duct work, insulation install, and some improvements to the AC system. Brians team worked basically from sun up to sun down to get everything completed as quickly as possible and the teamwork they demonstrated while they were at my home was impressive. It was very hot in my attic so to see the communication amongst themselves to ensure all were safe and had some time to rest in between being in the hot space really showed how much they cared for each other and all they were doing.Brian is a standup guy and he really helped rescue us from a situation that we almost saw no end out of. When everyone else couldnt, he COULD, and he DID.Great job Brian and the Crossway team! You all showed you really cared and for that I am grateful. Joey & Crossway Mechanical are great. I have a known issue that means I may have to replace my evaporator coil soon so I was sure that was what needed to happen today. Nope...they were able to check my system and everything is working perfectly so all I was charged was for the visit! Sweet!

From a consumers view having Crossway as my AC/Heating company is a great investment. As for as Im concerned Crossway Mechanical is 2nd to none & I highly recommend them for your AC/Heating service.

Joey did a fine job. He performed all work require and explained everything we need to know. Anything less from your company would have been a surprise. Hi usually comes out and performs exactly the same. I enjoy douing business with Crossway Mechanical.

The guys from Crossway came out to completely redo the HVAC system (including ductwork and vents) for my new house, which had previously been unoccupied for almost 2 years. They did an outstanding job! Not only did they have everything up and running within a single day, but they were polite, friendly, and obviously very experienced at their work. I will never go to anyone else for HVAC service!

I had my entire AC / Furnace replaced around a year ago. The ducts were left alone. My home original ductwork (20 year old) was not the best fit for todays AC / Furnace systems. The new system was fully functional, but the system was working too hard and inefficiently: Too high pressure difference across suction and discharge, and some rooms hotter than others. The current plenum and ducts were starving the new system off air. I resorted to Crossway to have this redesigned. A comfort advisor inspected my ducts and we agreed on the improvements. Mr. Joey came over with a crew right on the agreed day, and right on time. They took care of upstairs and downstairs ducts: Plenum, ducts, saddles, straps, grilles, additional suction / return points, and clean up after finished. It was an all day work, and yet they were done before i expected. Another job very well done. I am a customer of Crossway because:I call, they answer: No leaving messages, no robots.Punctual: Agreed day and time is always 100% spot on.Communication: During the planning phase, we talk before hand so we agreed how to proceed, and everybody is aware of whats going to happen. This included the commercial part as well.Professionals: Crew is clean, polite, and work safely. Crew leader drives the project and crew flawlessly. This is a sign of good leadership, and it shows.Had a weekend emergency. Record high temperatures. AC went down. Unbearable heat. Searched for local professionals in my area. Crossway came up with great ratings. Read them. Had to try. I called and they came. Techincian arrived. Hai came, Hai saw, Hai kicked it. Period.If you have AC problems, call anybody you want. If you want your AC problems to go away, call Crossway.

The serviceman was very prompt, knowledgeable and thorough. He completed what needed to be done and made recommendations of things that could be done but were not immediately necessary. There was no high pressure to buy anything we didnt need.

We have been using Crossway for our spring and fall checks ups. It is very easy to get an appointment when I am available. Hai, the technician who came today was prompt, friendly, courteous, efficient and competent. He willingly answered all my questions.

Crossway is the BEST HVAC Company Ive every worked with! And Joey is ON POINT!Ive been working with Crossway Mechanical for the past couple of years. They handle all of our HVAC units. They handle repairs, twice a year maintenance, warranties, and bi-weekly filter change outs, even once a year vent wipe-downs! I use them for all of our HVAC needs! I will never go elsewhere. I never have to worry about anything as they take care of us - no matter what! All of the employees are great to work with! But Joey is the BEST! He comes in every other week, taking care of our office. Not only does he do the work, quickly and on-time. But he also keeps an eye out for anything we may need. The guys had a pretty complicated job, replacing coils in 2 units and building plenums for us to use the big air filters. They came early and worked hard all day till they were done. Both a/c units are working great, and we are happy to have them as our regular service company.

I had tech show up on time and was very polite. he listened to my issue and checked the pressures. my system is low so we knew there is a leak.he then went up to the unit in the attic to inspect immediately found possible issue with line rubbing. he never opened my system to inspect the internal for leaks but was either texting or calling his boss the whole time then decided it was going to cost me $1000.00 to fix a leak. when i said no then charged me $240.00 to come out and spray dish soap on a line . I did not agree and we agreed to pay the service call fee. If you are sending a technician to do a job make sure he is trained and qualified for the job and do not charge excessive amounts when the customer is aware of how a system works. Sorry but I do not have faith in your company

Hai was my requested mechanic and he did a fantastic job checking our system and giving us a detailed debrief session. Everytime we need service, we request Hai and he meets and exceeds our expectations every time. The Crossway Mechanical Team are the best in NWHouston.

These guys tried to sell me an $11k ac unit by refusing to charge my unit and telling me my unit was too old. So, after talking to my brother-in-law who owns rental property, he got me in touch with another company who came and did exactly what i asked, and only charged me $350 bucks. Home is cooler than ever. I was also quoted $5k on the same 16 SEER unit Crossway was trying to charge me $11k for Beware of Crossway Mechanical out of Tomball trying to upsell you new units by telling you your unit is too old and cant be charged with freon. Based on my experience with these jokers, get someone else!. These guys are ac salesman trying to upsale you. Beware!

Brian was very knowledgeable and explained in detail what the problem was. I appreciated how honest and thorough he was. It was a very hot day. Brian repaired my A/C Unit and had it up and running within the hour.

Excellent service. Fixed my overflowing drain pan and clogged drains, and installed a float switch to prevent it from happening again, all after 7pm on a weeknight, and didnt over-charge me. Both gentlemen were super-nice and a pleasure to work with.

Brian and Axel showed up on time for an HVAC inspection regarding inconsistent room temperatures. They were able to walk me through the inspection process and explain everything they found. Both Brian and Axel seemed very knowledgeable.

They have been great for the twice a year check ups and were quick to come when the capacitor blew. No complaints. Always on time. Always efficient.

I give them one for showing up. Simply put I was severly overcharged by this company. A friend referred me to them. My friend is friends with Brian the owner. I had 2 units not working. $780.00 later I still had 2 units not working. Unit 1, needed a capacitor and the outside power disconnect switch. I was told capacitor was wired wrong and my wiring a mess. I was told that I needed the breaker in the breaker box replaced before the unit would come on. Not the problem. After paing an electrician another $300 to change the breaker still no a/c. I was charged $500 to put in the capacitors. $250 for each one. In the same unit. This consists of 4 wires and 1 screw for 1 capacitor, 1 wire and no screws for 2nd capacitor. $250 for 1 wire. Are you kidding me? The parts are 20 bucks each. The wiring mess consisted of 1 wire nut that had fallen off. Thats a $.50 part and 2 seconds to put on. They also upsold me a new contactor for $250.00 for being old. 4 wires on that too. A friend of a friend. I trusted him to be honest so I authorized. No problem with that. Ive had capacitors replaced before. $300 with service call fee. Im really curious how anything was tested with no power to unit. Yes, I am mad. Quite simply I was charged twice for capacitor replacement. Justified because there are 2. Theyre in the same freaking unit. 1 wire to it from 1st capacitor, capacitor is not even secured. Its just sitting next to the 1st one. The wiring wasnt a mess. I have before and after pics. I believe the whole problem was the outside disconnect. I could be wrong but it stands to reason if theres no power to unit its not going to work.Unit 2 has a bad compressor. Needs entire new system. Compressor has a dead short. No problem with that. I figured that was the problem. I asked for an estimate to be left at the house so I could review it. Never got it. I did get 3 phone calls to come back out and go over it. My guess is to apply some hard sell tactics. No thanks. Remember this company was referred to us by some very good friends. I trusted them and got raked. Maybe because I wasnt there. My son and daughter were. I dont know. If you dont know how to check a breaker how can you be trusted to know the rest of your job.
