Reids did a great job once again with an AC unit that was giving us trouble. We will always call Reids when our AC is out - they definitely have earned five stars in helping us stay cool. Many thanks to Jared for a job well done!

The workers were prompt, precise in their work, knowledgeable of their product, and were able to answer the questions I had. The supervisor, Greg, did make a return trip to make sure everything was working as designed.

Our 1.5 ton air handler system developed a leak in the evaporator coil. None of the HVAC suppliers had an exact replacement coil for our system. I spoke with Reid about my options. He stated that even if we could find a replacement coil it would only be warrantied for one (1) year.However, if we replaced the entire air handler we would have a five (5) year factory warranty (parts and labor) should it fail.Jerad topped off our system with refrigerant to keep us in cool air while we waited for the new system to arrive from manufacturers supply company. That took about a week.Reids kept me informed and once the system had arrived at their shop they called and set up an appointment for the work.The crew showed up on time, performed the work required, and our system is now operating as it should.The crew cleaned up the area, hauled off the old system, and tested both the cooling and heating to assure me all was working.I would gladly recommend Reids to anyone who needs help with their HVAC system!Mike Oberski

I thought I may have had an issue with my A/C so Reids responded quickly. I had a system tune up and evaluation performed. The tech did a thorough job and explained everything he tested to me. He was honest and did not recommend any unnecessary service or parts on a system that was functioning properly. I have had this company out in the past with the same results. I’ll call Reid’s whenever I have an issue and know I’ll be getting quality service at a very fair price. We always ask for Greg as he is a very good communicator and is professional.

Caveat Emptor , please .Other than the service man who refused to talk , only capable of muttering Im sorry , and leaving the capacitor cover off and losing all the screws that hold it on , the rude customer service lady , the thing that gets me is they tried to rip me off .Quoted over 400 dollars to replace the compressor capacitor. Part is 23 dollars , on the shelf at Ace Hardware . Held on by one sheet metal screw and has to terminated wires that click on to it .Yeah , 400 bucks . When called on this , service man left my unit apart , and walked out to his van and left .They then had the audacity to txt me asking if my complimentary service was to my liking .Ah , no it sure wasnt .Beware and stay away

Greg checked ac system. He found that previous seasonal maintenance had not included cleaning exterior coils and fins. He cleaned the unit with water hose, rechecked pressure and temperatures. A/C has been working normally. Greg has been to my house at least twice; he has done a great job for me.Thank you, Greg.

I moved to the Spring/Klein area a year and a half ago. Our house is about 10 years old and weve had several AC issues. A neighbor recommended Reids AC & Heating and Ive had nothing but the best experiences with them; from the moment you call Lou and others in the office to schedule your appointment, until the last bit of work has been completed. Chris has been nice, professional and helpful every time hes done a repair. I always feel they really care about their clients and go out of their way to fit you in their schedule, like they did today when my bedroom AC went out at 2:00 this afternoon! I believe their prices are fair and their professionalism is an A+.

Reid’s AC is a great, fair company that has some unbelievable customer service. They have been the company that has serviced our home for many years.One of their technicians (Robert) is about as good as they come. He is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. Even with all the questions I had trying to understand how these systems work he was very polite and took the time to explain. We will likely replace our old unit within the next year and Robert is who we will be requesting to do the work.

We have used Reid’s since moving into our house in 2015. Every interaction with them has been prompt, professional, and positive. They come check out system twice a year during summer and winter. We had a capacitor recently go out and they came to replace it, when they noticed it was still under warranty we were only charged for the labor. I would highly recommend choosing them for your HVAC service.

Was at the house within an hour after the call. Fixed a burnt wire in the furnace and was on his way. It was 82 degrees in the house and getting hotter. They could have pretty much named their price that day because it was so hot, but they charged a very fair price that I was happy with. Would definitely call them back out if needed.

I have used the same company for 20 years, but when he decided to cut back his workload, heading toward retirement, it was time to find a new company. Ive seen Reids advertisement in our local subdivision paper for years and was happy to see such positive reviews. I had the same 5 star experience. Great, personal service from Sharlene when I called. Chris came out that day. The line was clogged and the heater was only blowing cold air. He was personal and friendly, explained the situation and fixed it quickly. It was cold this weekend and I was happy and warm thanks to Chris. I will be using Reids from now on. When my AC couldnt cool my house I knew there was a problem, Id been using another company for the past 5 yrs. to maintain my system and Id been dissatisfied with their service the past couple of yrs. so this time I contacted Reids to check out my AC. Chris arrived on time, was very professional and found my problem. Unfortunately for me the evaporator coil needed to be replaced, due to Covid and all the supply chain disruptions that part was in very short supply. Kelly worked non stop to locate a replacement coil and coordinated with the manufacturer to provide service not usually provided under the warranty. When the part was located they arraigned to pick it up and got it installed the next day. In total I interacted with 5 Reids employees, they all were courteous and knowledgeable, they kept me appraised of what was going on through out the process. I highly recommend Reids AC & Heat.

We have two AC units on our house. We used Reid’s AC & Heat to replace one of them two years ago. We just replaced the second one. Greg and his team arrived on time. They were very professional and did a great job. They cleaned up everything before leaving. We continue to use this company for our fall and spring maintenance.We had a new AC unit installed by Reids AC & Heat last week. Robert and his team were very efficient and professional. They arrived on time, protected the flooring in our house, worked very efficiently and cleaned up everything that was removed from our old unit. The new air conditioner has been working great!

Weve had to use Reids for A/C repairs twice now and theyve done an excellent job at being prompt and honest with their repairs. I recently had a warranty claim and they responded as fast as if it was a new paying job. The customer service reps and technicians are great at making sure you are completely satisfied. We will continue to use Reids for any future a/c and heat needs.

I used these people for approximately 15 years. They installed the two units I presently have. The last two times I’ve had a problem the tech seemed more interested in selling me a new unit than fixing my problem. I had one unit quit working some time back. The tech that come out said compressor was weak and I needed a complete new system. Quotes we’re extremely high. I decided to get a second quote. The company that came out quoted me about 1/2 the price, but said I didn’t need a new system. All it needed was a cooling fan motor on the outside unit. He replaced it and it’s been working perfectly for months now. Since I’m retired I don’t need to replace an AC just because a tech is lazy and would make a big commission for selling me new. I had to call several times to talk to Reid.when I finally got to talk to him, he insisted that the tech was right and I needed a new unit. Months later it is still workingIke a charm.he ask me what I wanted and I told him nothing I just wanted to let him know how I was treated. He still stood behind his techs diagnosis. He did refund the price of the service call.

Late Friday afternoon we noticed our system was working constantly and not cooling as it should. We called Reids and had the owner come out to inspect it within 30 minutes of making the call. It was determined we needed some time consuming repairs. Reid set us up so we were comfortable that night and then had James show up early the next morning. James did a great job and got our system back up and running as it should. We never broke a sweat in our own home and would definitely recommend using these guys again!

Chris was out is out in less than an hour when I was having issues installing my thermostat. I was I was installing the same thermostat I had before but it was not working. Chris came out in less than 10 minutes Chris fixed the issue, did some other checking to be sure everything was alright and I was good to go. Chris has taken care of my system and my fathers for years and he is the best.

Duane and his team from Reids AC & Heat replaced a gas furnace for us and did a fantastic job. Great attention to detail, great communication and great follow-up after the job was complete. Jared came within an hour of being called at 6pm in the evening on a Saturday - very impressive! He quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it. Service call pricing was very reasonable as was the repair. I will happily use them again in the future!

I contacted a few other companies and no one could find the part I needed. I understand that it was back ordered but another company which I’d never call again supposedly ordered the part but never confirmed a date to me but tried to get payment without any services. I saw Reid’s truck at my neighbors house and asked him what issue he had with his unit. He gave me their information and they immediately got to work and a few days later they had me up and running.

Reids was responsive, came out next day, and Greg was right on time. He explained the issue, did his due diligence and checked multiple possible causes for the problem, and in the end, fixed the unit by adding refrigerant.

Its the middle of August in Houston, TX. Not the time you want your AC to breakdown! I had a friend recommend Reids AC & Heat, and it has been one of the BEST recommendations ever!! Today we had Chris, James M., Nathan M. and Jerrardo G. here to repair and replace a component of our AC system. They were on time, kind, courteous and did a phenomenal job in our 123 degree attic. Leslie in their front office coordinated the appointment and called several times to give me an update on when to expect the crew, etc. I cannot tell you how impressed we have been with every aspect of their service. The whole experience has been great. Carlos was prompt and courteous. (loved that he wore the shoe covers when he came inside). He took time to explain what he found (a piece of shingle from recently replaced roof stuck to fan motor shaft). He made sure my husband understood the problem and addressed his concerns that the motor may have been damaged. The repair was completed under warranty thought it was not a parts or labor issue. Prior to his arrival, we were given a 2 hour window of when he would arrive. We were kept updated on when to expect him. We have been using Reids for all of our HVAC needs for the last two years ever since we had a bad experience with a larger company trying to up sell us products that we didnt need. They do great work for a fair price and the service is always wonderful. One of their techs, Chris, is absolutely amazing. He tells us what needs to be done but doesnt try to over charge us or to make us pay for work we dont need. He is polite and he doesnt mind the fact that we have huge dogs. I like that he is straight forward and direct when dealing with us. My home is only 5 years old and has two units. We dont trust anyone else with such a costly aspect of home maintenance.

Reids air-conditioning did a wonderful job installing a brand-new Lennox XC16 system for my house. I was very impressed the way the entire crew worked very professionally, took care not to dirty any carpets, or scrape the walls as they lifted awkward and heavy components in and out of my attic . The quality of the workmanship is excellent . Reid also gave me very sensible recommendations and explained any changes that had to be made before doing the work . Thanks to Chris and James the work was also very well organized and a proper bill of materials was made up beforehand so nothing was forgotten. The results are fantastic ! The new AC system works quieter, more efficiently, and of course much colder than the failing old one. Thanks for making this job stress-free, and giving me such great service !

Used Reids for 4 rental properties since 2009. Had a service call to a rental property. Jared came out did a service call and advised the a/c capacitor was not performing at its best and said he could change it for $365. I told him no, I declined the capacitor. Ive had my handyman change these in the past for a third of the cost. So my handyman replaced it the following week. Almost two weeks after the service call I got the invoice via email and I immediately responded that the total was not correct because they billed me $365 for a capacitor. I showed Reids HVAC my text with my handyman and the receipt for a new capacitor that I had my handyman replace for about $80 parts and labor. Ive sent 6 emails and finally had to call and talked to Leslie (office manager) two weeks ago she said they show in their records he replaced it. Common sense would suggest I told him not to do it, otherwise why would I have my handyman re-do the same job I just paid $365 to do. Leslie said she would have Reid call me back and never did. Just like he never called me back in my other Google review. Bottom line this is payback for me writing my two star Google review last year. Keep my $365, obviously you need it more than me! Should have never given you guys a second chance with my business. Ill be sure to spread the word through Facebook HOA web pages for the 4 rentals that should reach about 1500 homeowners.

We spent $16,000 on our air conditioner/heating system 3 years ago with Reid’s Air Our neighbor bought a system from them because of us. We have them check the system every 3 months and pay this company for that service. This week the system failed and their tech told us the coil is leaking and needed to be replaced. The unit is under warranty but Reid’s is changing us $1100 for labor. We aren’t wealthy and sacrificed to pay for the unit believing it would last. We called to talk to the owner but after 2 days he has not returned our call. I just can’t believe a company would be this dishonest. I believe the coil was installed incorrectly or damaged at installation. What company would have the audacity to charge for labor in this situation especially when they service the unit on a quarterly basis. We are also contacting Lennox.

I will highly recommend Reids AC & Heat to my friends if they have problems with their AC. My AC was leaking this morning and they came within an hour after I called. Chris C did a great job to repair my AC He explained every detail to me about what went wrong with my AC very thoroughly after he finished the inspection. He did a great job. Thank you.

Evap Coil failed and Reid’s was able to come by the same day to confirm the issue. Next day they penciled me in and had it back in business in less than 3 hours. Couldn’t be more grateful for the team to have our home in an enjoyable state with 100 degree temps. Amber and Kelly were helpful, friendly, and quick.

Robert came out on a hot Sunday and got our AC fixed in less than an hour. The price was higher than what I anticipated for the time spent fixing it but I understand it was a Sunday. Called Reids to schedule an appointment to repair our AC, Greg came out within hours, and had the unit up and cooling in under an hour. Well be recommending them to everyone!

Chris did a fantastic job repairing one of our restaurant’s AC compressors. He did the research to find out the parts were covered under warranty even though we were not originally the owner of unit. Chris provided superb friendly knowledgeable service. Highly recommend.

I would never recommend this company. Technician Chris found a leak in my evaporator coil and suggested that I place 13 pounds of 410 refrigerant at $70. per pound for a total of $910. I questioned him about the new refrigerant leaking out from the evaporator and he then ask me if I wanted a quote to replace my evaporator. I payed the $89. trip charge and ask him to kindly leave my home.

I have been a customer of Reids AC & Heat for several years now. I recently replaced my entire HVAC system. They were honest and thorough about my needs. The go above and beyond others when doing the work showing that they truly care about the customer. The entire job was done in one day, and I am looking forward to the savings on a newer more efficient system in my house. They even fixed our air flow problem in the bedroom making it much cooler now.

We had an awful experience with a previous full ac install and repair. We owned the unit less than 2 years before it had already needed repairing twice. Then along came Carlos from Reids AC. He quickly apologized for the previous companies lack of caring and put us at ease. I honestly felt sorry for Carlos because after our previous experience I followed all the techs around and asked a million questions! We went with a full package and replaced everything to make sure we dont have to think about this again for a long time! Our house is now an iceberg again! Great experience, Carlos is hilarious and just remember, its black coffee with 2 sugars ;)

We had our air conditioners and furnaces replaced. They were very professional and willing to beat other competitors prices. They show up on time and are hard workers. They were respectful while in my home and cleaned up any mess that was made while they changed the furnaces. Great job. Highly recommended

Our furnace has been giving us trouble during the first part of this winter. It finally died on the coldest day of the year. I had Reids come by and give me a quote on a Lennox system that that far better than the cheapest quote I got on a less efficient Goodman. They said they were able to install at 1:00 PM. They called me at 11:00 and were ready to install. They were efficient and had my house warmed up and ready to live in again by 5PM. Service was terrific and staff friendly. Would definitely recommend them!

I was very grateful he came to repair my AC, thought I would have to wait a long time after Harvey. He put down protective cloths on my carpet. Made modifications to fit the updated unit. Added a tap and a sensor which were not on the original unit. All done very neatly and efficiently. Will be happy to call him back in the future.

Technician Carlos R came and performed a thorough a/c check up, explained how the unit should be cleaned between check ups, explained and resolved any issues that I had. I have used AC Reid for at least 5 years and Carlos ranks among the best I had from the company.

We have used Ried’s for all our ac/heating needs for 10 years. They come out twice a year for annual checkups. And, have replaced both of our air conditioning units, one in 2011 and the other in 2012.Last night our upstairs unit stopped working and we placed a service call in to Reids. Carlos came out today to inspect the unit and determine why it was not running. Even though the unit is only 6 years old, He said that we need a new compressor. He was very thorough and explained everything in detail. We feel confident with Carlos’ explantation of the problem.We will write another review after the new unit is installed.

Used Reids multiple times keeping them my number 1 on call out list to service 5 total a/cs in different rental properties. Finally had an issue mid June at a rental property. They charged me $160 to clean out a secondary line because I was getting a leak in bottom level of townhome. Next day leak came back. They went back and said the coil was leaking excessively. $5k later installed new unit. Later that day leak came back. They came back out including the guy that installed it. Couldnt find the leak. Therefore, I assumed a pipe was busted somewhere. Hired a plumber. They found the main drain line under the hvac drip pan was the culprit. Texted Reids HVAC guy and ask him to tell Reid to call me because I felt I just paid $5k for a new A/C when they just didnt unclog the correct line. I got a text back asking if they could have the plumbers number so I gave them his number. The plumber said Reid did leave him a VM, but still no call back from Reid to me to give that personal touch. Even though Im still bitter, I just called them up for a different rental to do a service call on another issue at a different property. I once again conveyed my annoyance that Reid never called me back about the other property thinking that would prompt a call and still nothing. I estimate over the years I have given them close to $25k in business, yet treated as if Im just another dollar. Just sad!

I’ve had this company come out for an AC “tune up” which was suggested by my Gas company. Unit had been functioning properly for the past 3 summers without any issues, but when the tune up began all of a sudden it’s not working properly and I’m given suggestions of things that needed replacing but also being told not to go through home warranty because they won’t cover it, go directly through their company.I in fact did contact my warranty company and had someone come out who did a thorough check of the system (in the attic and yard) and was told everything was functioning properly.Not only did I have to cover the cost for a service charge from my warranty company but also had to miss another days work for this company’s misdiagnosis.

From the office staff to the technician that came to my house everything was great. They showed up closer to the start of the time frame promised and spent time explaining what was going on and the process of why he was doing certain things. I am highly impressed with the work this company did and would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Little backstory: our upstairs ac blew up on a Sunday night and we (being very new to Tomball area didnt know who to call) called a different company who replaced the condenser without looking to see if their was a warranty and charged us 4K for it. Well two days after it was fixed our outdoor part of the same unit blew a huge leak spraying refrigerant and oil all over the unit. The company tried to charge us another 4K to fix it, but wait over a week. Not happening with two toddlers in a 87 degree upstairs. We called Reids and Robert came and assessed the situation. He confirmed it was a leak, but that there was a warranty and he would talk to Lennox about replacing the coil or the whole unit. He called us the next day and told us that Reids got Lennox to replace the whole outside unit under warranty and would be there first thing the next morning. They were professional and courteous. Grateful doesnt begin to cover how we feel. We signed up for their maintenance plan and wont use anyone else from now on. Thank you Robert and Reids!

He said I needed to replace my entire heating and air conditioner. I had a friend come over that has worked on units. He said no it did not need replacement. It has been working fine ever-increasing. I just paid a fee of $89. For nothingI feel cheated as I am a widow living on Socisl Security.

He changed the dirty media filter, checked the coil, drains, filters, ducting temp diff, compressor, contactor, capacitor, fan motor, blower motor, bearings, refrigerant levels, subcool, superheat, ran chemical down drain line, added 1 gallon of freon, and cleaned and water washed condenser. On Aug 20, 2018, I called Reids AC and Heating because our condenser was not working. Because it was very hot day and my husband was ill, I requested service as quickly as possible. Jerrardo G. found time in his schedule to make a service call that day. He discovered the AC breakerhad been thrown. He reset it. System started working again.While still on the premises, he checked amps, capacitor, and pressure which were all normal.Jerrardo was knowledgeable, answered our questions, and was very personable. If we need HVAC service again, we will most definitely contact Reids and request Jerrardo.

Our AC went out on the worst night when our baby had a fever. Duane came to the rescue at 9 pm on a Saturday and got our AC running again. We cannot thank him enough for being there for us when we needed him the most. We highly recommend Duane and Reids AC!!

The process was very professional. In addition, Jerrardo noticed one of my heating vents in the living room was not opened, brought it to my attention, and opened it for me. So I had to call back to check everytime (4 times).OrShe belongs to a sort of thief because I bet she is receiving every her pay-checks even though she does not do her duties.
