A friend highly recommended Michel Auto Cares. Went there with what another mechanic said would be a very technical and expensive repair. They found that it was just a faulty wiring connection. Fixed it easily for a small charge. They will absolutely be my preferred repair shop going forward.

Michael Auto Cares is by far the best mechanic shop I have ever used for my personal vehicle and my company vehicles. The entire process went so smooth. Very professional, and very informative and communicated with me through the entire process before they did anything to my vehicles. Are used another mechanic in Spring for over 20 years that begin to compromise the integrity of his work and then those 20 years I wish I would’ve found Michael Auto Cares back then. I’ve used a lot of mechanics in my life and especially in my professional business as an electrical contractor, and being that I keep the bar very high when it comes to integrity and service this mechanic shop by far goes above and beyond. Even their shop is kept in order and almost spotless. Just had another positive experience at Michel Auto Cares. Melvin and his team took time to diagnose the complex problem with my Explorer, and only recommended services that were necessary. The problem is fixed, and I am very pleased once again! 04/30/2024-------------------------I have been going to Michel Auto since 2004. For the first 25 years of car ownership, I did all my own repairs, so I know what an auto shop should be like. Afterward, I tried a few shops, and had bad experiences. Then I found Michels and I have 100% confidence in them. They always do a quality job at a fair price. I recommend them to anyone looking for an honest mechanic.

With two mechanical opinions stating that my 2009 Hyundai Tucson with 149,000 miles with a broken timing belt, idler pulley and probable valve damage was not an economical repair, I sought a third. Michel Auto Cares, on Google maps, shows 3.1 miles from my home. Before calling, I read several of their Google reviews. Being a level 7 Google reviewer myself, I understand the importance of the information shared by members of our community that use the services of local businesses. Michel Auto Cares has 81 reviews. Five of those reviews were from members of our community who were displeased with their interaction with Michel auto Cares. the other 76 members of our community were extremely pleased with their interaction and services received from Michel Auto Cares. This convinced me to call. Wade answered the phone, identifying Michel Auto Cares first them himself. I a greeted him and gave my name, vehicle year and problems that I incurred. Wade took my name, number and informed me that he would give me a call back. He called back minutes later. Wade informed me that he had consulted with another shop. The information that he relayed to me confirmed the two previous opinions that I received. He took the time to explain to me that the price of labor and parts, if they were able to locate them due to the age of my vehicle, would be more than what my vehicle is worth. I was pleasantly surprised that he was honest and forthcoming. The members of our community are correct in saying that Michel Auto Cares and their team are honest, informative, experienced and professional ! ! !

Called to get a quote on labor for a repair. As soon as I said I had my own part he didnt want to talk to me. I asked how much would your part be? and he started explaining to me that they do make money on their parts. Its how he pays his bills and keeps his lights on. No paying your mechanics $25 and hour when you charge $135 an hour for shop time is how you keep your lights on. Needless to say I will not be using him and recommending that people avoid him as well.

I have been going to Michels auto cares for years and they are great. When I stopped to have them listen to a noise my Ranger was making, they knew immediately what the problem was. They could have changed the entire AC compressor and it would have cost me a lot. But they replaced a pulley with a bad bearing, and a new belt that fixed the issue and was A LOT less expensive. Great Guys, Great Shop. 100% recommend.

Awesome group of guys. I had my truck towed in and they had me back up and on the road again the next. You won’t find a better auto repair shop in Houston. I have done business at Michel Auto for almost 10 years. They have done excellent work on my Ford F-150s.I have consistently received 1st class customer service from every team member at the shop. These guys always take the time to answer my questions, and help me understand what were repairing--and why. This is especially important to me, as a single mother. Its always a little intimidating to request auto service work, when you dont completely understand all of the mechanical reasoning. I do believe there are times when a female is convinced to accept unnecessary auto repairs, simply because she does not understand it well-enough to question the work.This has NEVER been the case, in all my experience at Michel Auto. These good people have continuously gone out of their way to answer my questions, help my understanding, and extend favorable pricing.In addition to good value, its important to note the outstanding diagnostic capability. Ive had some pretty unique service problems on both of my trucks, that have baffled your typical mechanic. These guys wont rest, until theyve accurately diagnosed the job. Very knowledgeable. I had an excellent experience with Michel Auto Cares. They quoted my work over the phone and told me it would take a day to replace the condenser on my 2010 F-150. I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. Work done and the price matched the quote. They even called back a week later to check on everything. Great Work!

This place is very expensive. Any place is cheaper than the dealership, including this one, but the last time I fixed my car there, I ended up with a huge bill. After that I changed the mechanic and had been paying less than half ever since. Also, their attitude sucks! When you enter the place, they treat you like if you are supposed to know about mechanical stuff. Yes, I have to admit they have decent knowledge of car maintenance, but they are way too expensive.

Water pump went out as I pulled into my driveway Thanksgiving night. Sent a message to their website. Melvin called me early yhr next morning. They sent me a wrecker at about 8:30ish Friday morning. Changed the water pump and thermostat. Good guys, good work. Highly reccomend these guys.

We had a challenger that would not start up. They provided a towing service come get us and tow it to there shop at 230pm and was back on the road with a new starter by 6pm. Great service and a good price.thanks guys.

We have been customers of Michel Auto Care for over 20 years.Recently, our CRV had an issue with shuddering. They diagnosed the issue as a problem with the torque converter. Melvin, owner, suggested I check with a Honda dealer to see if the issue would be covered under the 5 year/60k warranty on the powertrain. As a result, the CRV was repaired by the Honda dealer and everything was covered under the warranty. I truly trust and value Michel Auto Care’s diagnosis!!!Finally, Michel Auto Care is very prompt in servicing our vehicles. I hope Michel Auto Care will stay in business for the next 50 years so my grandchildren will have a place to service their vehicles!
