Amos’ team of folks are top notch and pleasant to work with. They are my “go to” electrical services company. They were able to work me in at a critical time to replace a breaker that was tripping from my HVAC system. Great personal touch during this cold February event. Had one of their electricians come swap fans for us. He was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He cleaned up before leaving to make sure he didnt leave any plastic coatings from wires in the house. He also advised us on downrod placement as my ceilings were not as high as I thought. We are very pleased with the work and who was sent out.
I received a postcard with an HVAC tune-up special so I made an appointment. They scheduled me within a couple days and Chris let me know when he was on his way, and arrived right on time.He was very polite, respectful of the property, and seemed to be very knowledgeable. He found a few issues with my Carrier system, so I’m getting them fixed before I REALLY need the heater to work. Thank-you Chris.
I am more than pleased with the service I received from Amos. Garrett, the electrician, was available to do the installation on the day I called. The price was more reasonable than would ever have expected. Garrett was knowledgeable, skilled and also very personable. I will definitely use Amos Home Services for any future electrical needs.
Amos Electric Supply Company recently performed the electrical installation for an addition to our home and we are very pleased with their work. Crystal was very helpful and courteous scheduling and coordinating the installation. Tommy was easy to work with while gathering information for the installation and directing the electricians (Matthew and Andrew) performing the work. Matthew and Andrew did an excellent job and were very professional and helpful working with us to determine the correct height for the chandelier. Amos Electric Supply Company was recommended by the contractor building our room addition and we also recommend Amos Electric Supply Company.

From the ordering of the $700 chandelier to the installation, it was an awful experience. I specifically told them where it was going and the height of the ceiling. They told me it was fine and would come with enough wiring. When it came in with short wiring, they wanted to rewire the entire thing - at my expense. I had stated it would need chain. They had no chain that matched. They showed up with a ladder too short for the job and had to go find one while the tech waited at the house. They billed me an additional $58 for shipping a month after picking it up. They then billed me for items not installed during installation. I would not recommend them.
I’m a data contractor that has come up behind Amos jobs on three separate occasions now and each is a top ten worst jobs I have seen occurrence. They may know electric, but keep them as far from your cat6 and coax as you possibly can.
Electrician came out and isolated the reason why the circuit breaker was tripping. Well worth the money to have the problem solved
Contacted Amos Electric for a quote to install a manual transfer switch for my standby generator. Date and time were set and agreed upon. The next day, I received a call to confirm the date and to verify that I still wanted the quote, which I confirmed. The date was established for 6 days later, with arrival between 8-11am. Day of the appointment, 1030am, I received a call which I was unable to take and thus a voice message. When I returned the call, I was told their employee needed to know if I still wanted the appointment before the traveled to our location. I thought thats what the previous confirmation call was about. They then wanted to reschedule to a different day, after I had already set aside planned activities to accommodate the original appointment. Appears to me they arent too concerned about acquiring new business. My business will go elsewhere.

I called Amos Electric for an estimate to install a 30 amp electrical plug/circuit on the outside of my house the week before Thanksgiving. I didnt expect something like that to take very long but gave them the benefit of the doubt because of the holiday. Really, its about an hours worth of labor at the most plus supplies, no big deal and nothing real complicated. When I inquired about how long it would be before I had the quote, the person on the phone appeared to be bothered that I would even ask a question like that. Was told that I would have my estimate the week after Thanksgiving. Well...here we are nearly 3 weeks after Thanksgiving and still nothing but crickets from Amos...no phone call...no email...nothing. That speaks volumes to me. Guess they dont need the business. Will give my business to a competitor electrical company instead.
Ok, I rarely evaluate a product or service, but these guys deserve this. I called about instillation of a large emergency generator at a ranch and was given an appointment 2.5 weeks out. The day of the appointment they canceled. The following day a guy showed up and within 5 minutes he explained that he was the wrong guy and the correct guy would call to schedule. I did not hear anything for a week. I then called three times without a return call. These guys are completely useless. You would be better off calling Bangladesh Electric, they would be faster. They waste my time, just let me know that they dont want the business. They lost a $30,000 job....oops.
My husband and I were remodeling a portion of our kitchen when we discovered an electrical problem that needed to be resolved immediately because the painter had arrived to start his part of the job. I called Amos Electric and explained our situation. Jennifer was so kind and said she would see what she could do. Within two hours, the electrician arrived and corrected the problem. We chose this company to make repairs on a house we were buying. The guys that were sent out were very polite & efficient. (- even asked permission to use our restroom on a 2 day job; of course I obliged & youd never know anyone set foot in there, they kept it so clean)I did have concerns about some dust left behind after the job was completed... the owner himself came out to inspect & told me that usually they clean up using the owners broom, but since I wasnt living there yet & didnt have it hed clean it up himself. I was so impressed by the care for customer satisfaction that I inquired about & hired them for my next electrical job. & Ill choose to call them in the future whenever I need repairs or upgrades.
Do not use Amos Electric. I called Amos Electric on Nov 9, 2021, for an appt. Took a month. on Dec 7, 2021, Steve Gerber (manager) showed up. Told him what I wanted, a plug on my deck, 2 plugs on my carport, 1 draw string light on my carport, and one motion detector light. I also told him I was a veteran. He said Amos did not do mobile homes, I told him its a carport and deck not a mobile home. Did not matter, I said ok. on Dec 8, 2021 Steve text me and told me the price. If he gets the money he could put me on the list. What list is he talking about, if he is getting someone else to do it. Steve told me I could pay half then other half when finished or what most people do pay all up front, I was thinking it is Amos Electric they would be good for it, so I paid all up front. On Wednesday, Dec 22, 2021 at 9:15 am, a text from Steve saying his guys should be there in an hour, he had everything except the motion light its on order. had to leave work. when I get there to my surprise, Amos electric vehicle, with Amos electric employees (Anthony plus helper). Didnt even have the draw string light I wanted, he only had a regular light with a switch. I said ok didnt want to wait another month. Anthony told me when the light comes in he could come back and put the light in, I do not even have to be home for him to finish the job. The job is still on finished that I completely paid for. I kept texting Steve and he kept making excuses. I sent a demand letter to the owner. He said what the employees do on their on time he has no control. Lets see I call Amos Electric, Steve a representative said Amos cant do it, Then Steve calls Amos Electric, on Amos Electric time, shows up on Wednesday, Dec 22, 2021 at 10:30 am, in Amos Electric vehicle, Amos Electric paid for the fuel with Amos Electric employees, Amos paid the employees. So does Amos Electric pay their employees and the fuel while doing jobs on the employees time? To me employee time is after 5 pm and on weekends. That sounds deceitful and dishonest to me. Amos still has not finished the job that I paid in full. I am checking into a lawsuit and I will be posting a video on Youtube, facebook, and other sights and reading all the text messages I had with Steve Gerber. The last text I sent him on Wed, Feb 23, 2022, said.. Is there a good reason you or Anthony did not show up last week to finish putting up the light, I do need answers now. Steve never replied. I have been very patient and been treated very badly. I can not believe a company would do that to a veteran and a member of the community they suppose to serve. Being dishonest and deceitful in unacceptable. Picking any company should be honesty in mind at all times. I would not use Amos at all.
Our elderly neighbors are used to be taken advantage of, I called Amos electric and told them about their outdated home/electricity and how it was smoking from the walls. STEPHEN came out as the only technician and did an AMAZING job by himself. He worked by trial & error and process of elimination until he found exactly what the problem was and fixed it flawlessly. He showed up on time, had all the equipment needed, and I couldnt have asked for hin to have a better attitude in any possible way. Amos Electric really came through for my neighbors and they were very happy with me making the phone call for them. Services were right on spec with the price point.
Asked them to come out to do 1 of 3 jobs and give me a bid. Took them 2 and a half weeks just to come out. Once they came out they didnt respond to me with a quote for more than a week. I called and asked if they had an estimate ready. They made me feel like I was bothering them by asking them for my quote almost a month into this project. The quote was twice the amount of the company I went with. The company I went with had an electrician here the next morning and emailed me an itemized quote before the end that day. Thats how it should be.
GREAT EXPERIENCE TODAY!!I had a problem with a vanity light fixture which fell from the wall this morning. The fixture has been hanging since 1998 but, when I looked at the problem I felt like it was improperly hung originally. I called Amos and explained what happened and my thoughts on the problem and they agreed to send a man out and evaluate the problem.After seeing what had happened the electrician agreed with me and fixed the problem at no cost to me. I will continue to use Amos Electric for me needs. They stand behind their work.
Thanks to Brent Coates and the installation crew of David and Matthew for the great job of replacing all of our old 1000 watt lamps with energy efficient LED lighting in our manufacturing facility in Temple. Brent applied for and received an energy efficiency rebate for us. The facility looks great and we look forward to the lower electric bills from the 300 watt LED lights that produce the same light as we had before. Great job, guys.
Impressive lighting showroom with great variety on display. If its not on display, the friendly staff is more than willing to find what you are looking for in their catalogs. All at a competitive price. Amazing deals on appliances too. Not to mention their in-house electricians are truly trained professionals.
I would not recommend Amos for Electric work. I am a relatively large home bulder that used Amos on several houses until I realized that their electricians were doing very shoddy and defective work. And to make matters worse, they will not stand behind their work. For example they incorrectly wired the pump in a septic system with 220 instead of 110 and they would not cover the cost ($903) to replace the pump that burned up due to the incorrect voltage.
My mother needed some work at her home and the first name that came to mind were the pros at Amos Electric. She was very happy with the work and the electrician. She still talks about the great service every time I see her.
This company is hanging on by a string. They have rude service technicians, that seem rude to eachother as well, to not completing jobs when they come out, and NO one at their office seems to be able to track their jobs and techs. I have moved from always using them to now using APEX or Dr. WATTS. Such a difference in knowledge and customer service.

I purchased all appliances thru my builder at was suggested a builder discount. Thw refrigerator was delivered today and i was told they do not install so the water line and handles are my responsibility...i would have assumed that if you pay $2200 for a ge refrigerator it would be turn key....i assumed wrong.
I had a problem with a light flickering. Will and Nathan called ahead and let me know they were on their way. They were very professional and checked out my electricity and fixed the problem within a few minutes. Excellent job.
I called them at 2 A.M.they came out promptly and got my backup generator running (for medical), then they returned in the morning to complete the repairs. Thanks Amos Electric I could not have asked for or expected better service than that.
Refused to do a job at my home which is also a 501c3 cat rescue because they claimed it was unsanitary! My home and rescue are clean and safe so this is very offensive! Just because I run a cat rescue does not mean its unsanitary! Will never call this company again for repairs or service again! To me this is very offensive and discriminatory against an animal rescue organization!!
Very fair pricing, contractors for reasonably priced installation are readily available, and they have a large online selection. Staff was very pleasant as well.
Came out and installed a outside light and replace a number of wall plug with gfi plugs. Came out when promised and reasonable price for work. Very professional workers

Amos Electric wired my new custom construction home and provided all electrical fixtures, lighting, and ceiling fans inside and outside of the home in 2020. I was having difficulty with three outside ceiling fans and contacted their office for information on the fans. I contacted Destiny on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 12:00 PM. Asked her my questions and she stated she would research and get back to me immediately. Never heard back from anyone. Contacted the office on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 3:17 PM and was told Destiny had left at 2:00 PM for the day, so left a message for her to call. On Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 12:03 PM, called again and left a message with Michelle for Destiny to return my call, since she was with a customer. Again no call back, so called on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 1:55 PM. Finally talked with Destiny with her stating that she had moved to another department, but obviously without completing or turning over her unfinished tasks from her previous department. She also said that she had called me the prior week to discuss the fans, but she had not and my phone records verify the fact. If this is the customer service and follow-through that this company employs, then I cannot recommend them for any electrical services or purchases.
