Ive been a proud customer if CornerstoneAutomotive Temple since around 2016. I dont take my vehicles anywhere else. Cornerstone Automotive has always done right by myself and my vehicles. I never have to worry about if the work is done correctly or if Im getting overcharged. The prices are more than fair, the work completed on the vehicles is thorough, precise, and timely, and the staff are so kind and considerate.If any work needs to be done on my vehicles, this is the place I come to; I wont go anywhere else.

Top notch operation. I was traveling and had a sudden water leak in my truck. Two hours from home. Walked in to the front counter. Service writer listened to my situation. Determined the repair to be simple and elected to make tthe repair immediately to get me on the road. They were booked but he was willing to help a stranger. Excellent service. Great character.

Thanks you to the nice gentleman who helped my sisters yesterday. She had a plastic burning smell coming from her car and she was stressed out over it. He was going to have her come in Monday and then he said he’d check it out real quick and he immediately knew it was a PLASTIC BAG stuck under her car causing the burning plastic smell. He took it out and problem solved. They had a good laugh about it and are very grateful. Any other place would have nickel and dime them. Thank you!!

Me and my wife moved to this area 2 years ago after I retired and she promoted to Gatesville tx. We had a good shop from Richmond tx where we moved from. That shop was good but this shop is great. Very professional. That’s hard to find in todays world. I am very grateful for this place, was worried about finding a honest place. 2 thumbs up.

Honestly, if I could leave zero stars I would. Never have I ever received such rude services and talked to such rude people before. Apparently, according to them… batteries can go out on a whim and I came in to fix one problem and they told me it was another. Paid 4 times what I thought I’d pay for my services and it still didn’t fix my issue, so I had to pay more money to replace a battery that supposedly tested fine a day before but went out a day later… and replacing the throttle body still didn’t fix the issue cause it was the battery that needed replacing. I spent over 900 dollars instead of 200… so, needless to say, I shouldn’t trust my mechanic cause they tell me this or that and my car still may not get fixed.

Starter went out on my Civic, after reading reviews and getting a recommendation from a friend who is in the auto parts business, I chose to take my car to Cornerstone and left very impressed with the service and timely manner of the repair for my car. Will definitely recommend to anyone who needs a repair to try Cornerstone first!

My husband and I started bringing our vehicles here. We’ve now had a few experiences with Cornerstone and all of them have been wonderful! Ronnie, JP, and everyone we’ve encountered at the front desk have been so nice. They’ve always gotten us in and out of the shop in a timely manner and have gone above and beyond to take great care of us. We’ve never felt blindsided by costs and feel like we can trust them. Cornerstone is now our go-to for service/repair in the Temple area.

Saved me $1000 off what another 5-star repair shop in Waco wanted to charge me. Customer service is impeccable.

Had what I assumed was a transmission issue pop up with my vehicle. I brought it in to Cornerstone. Clean facility and friendly, upfront service. They advised me of potential issues, timeframe and the diagnostic cost upfront before going any further. The next day they called, explained the issue and what was needed and gave an approximate time of completion and cost. Everything was done when they said and for the quoted cost, and, most importantly, my vehicle is back on the road again and it was a reasonable amount. Yall have earned a new customer!

Was recommended that I go to corner stone automotive. I took their advice and can’t be happier. Had compressor and condensers replaced in 2014 Nissan Altima. They stand behind their work with a a three-year warranty. The owner of the shop Robert was very knowledgeable and friendly. JP was my main advisor and got me in and out of the shop quickly on schedule. JP also went out of his way replaced the caps that another automotive shop misplaced. The worker in the shop came out that worked on my car and also made sure the caps were the right ones and also he replaced missing tabs that hold some of the plastic body together. Phenomenal experience, I would recommend them to anybody.

3 weeks straight I went to 3 different auto repair shops and the dealership twice, every mechanic said they couldn’t find anything wrong. I guess I was the crazy one. My car was jerking everytime I hit the accelerator. I finally went to cornerstone in which I should have went to first. The manager told me without even checking and told problem could be. He got the part, fixed it literally in 5 minutes. Now my car runs so smooth. The guy just don’t know how he made my day. I will never waste my time again with any other auto shop. I will forever be a cornerstone customer

Needed some help with an A/C problem on our car and took it to Cornerstone this morning. They got it taken care of in a few hours. They were straightforward and honest with me. Wasnt my first time taking our cars there. Theyve always done a great job for us and I never feel like they are trying to find stuff just to get more out of me. Ill definitely continue bringing our vehicles to Cornerstone.

Short answer:Unbelievable service - best service I have ever had from anywhere. Nicest people I have ever met. Unbelievably fast. Great price. No selling pressure. Great repair work. Stop looking at reviews, go here.The long answer:We are not from Texas and I needed to get a few things done on my wifes car. I walk in and the owner greets us and talks to us about the car. He was probably one of the nicest fellows I have met in a while.When the owner called us up later he explained everything that was wrong with the car, what had to be fixed and what doesnt need to be fixed without any pressure. It was an incredibly low price too from what I have had in the past in Louisiana.When we come back to pick the car up there was another extremely nice gentleman at the desk. I see the owner hurrying to leave the shop I can hear the employees talk about how he wanted to get someone their warranty on a battery from AutoZone so he was quickly leaving to help a customer - I couldnt believe it.Then I tell the employee at the desk how nice he was to me yesterday, and he had nothing but good things to say and then goes on to say how he tries to do at least two good deeds a day. What a great guy.I then asked him if it would be alright if I could leave my other car to when they were available. He did what I wanted on the spot near closing even after I protested that he didnt have to go out and do this.Who are these people? Are they from another dimension? I have never had such a great experience with any service ever. I found this place because it had pretty good reviews. I almost didnt even go because I live in south Temple. This is now the only place I will be going.Oh and the actual service. It was great. I got a text message two hours after dropping it off saying they found the problem, even though I assumed it would take a day. They then proceeded to finish everything extremely quickly. The brakes handle better than I could ever remember.Stop reading, just go here.

Best place in the state to have your vehicle worked on! They got us in first thing this morning and had our vehicle ready to go by noon. The price was reasonable as well. Would highly recommend cornerstone automotive. The customer service was amazing. They took the time to explain the issues of our vehicle. They did not over price or add things to our bill that didnt need to be done like other places. Keep up the good work employees at cornerstone automotive 👍

We had a water pump replaced. Although the part was out of warranty, Cornerstone still gave us a discount off the work!! Fabulous customer service!!

Dropped off my vehicle at 8am for a headlight repair. I asked them to check the rear lights. They called me to give me an update and offered to do my inspection. My vehicle was ready at 11:45am. They were professional, honest, knowledgeable andreasonably priced. They gained a customer for life. Special thanks to JP.

I called at 7am. Robert said he didnt have an opening until the following week. After explaining I needed a 3rd brake light fixed, he called me back telling me to bring it in after I got off work. It was not an easy fix. But they got it done! Thank you for helping me! I will recommend this company to anyone! And will continue to do business withthem!

They are too proud to accept when they are wrong and either at worst dishonest or at best ignorant. They rotated my tires and then the tire pressure sensor went off. I got pressures checked at another facility and the pressures were okay. I looked up online that some vehicles need the sensor recalibrated after tire rotation and that should typically be performed by a shop as part of the service being paid for. When I went back, the worker insisted it was nothing that would be part of a tire rotation and claimed I must have a flat or a bad sensor. He said it would take several hours for them to figure it out. I then took the vehicle to Sams Club and they fixed the issue in about 5 minutes free of charge. Dont waste your time on people too proud to accept their errors and trying to overcharge since they dont know their craft. They do not stand by their work and insist that the customer is always wrong. Terrible customer service.***In response to their response, there are no contradictions in this posting. They were offered a chance to review it but after I had told them what the problem was, they stated that it could ONLY be caused by a flat tire or faulty sensor that would need to be replaced. They did not then accept ANY responsibility for their work and their response to this post continues to demonstrate that they refuse to admit when they are wrong. The problem could have been fixed rapidly but they wanted hours and entirely dismissed the true method of resolution as impossible. Had I left the vehicle with them another few hours, I can only imagine what worse damage may have occurred. This is not gross exaggeration as they claim but is a true and faithful account of the experience I had with their shop. I would not trust them with my vehicle again.

Every time I use Cornerstone I am completely satisfied! This Chain business has a hometown feel of Honesty and good work. Robert and his technicians have always taken good care of me and been up front and honest with repairs and repair cost. I would recommend them to my my parents or grandparents.

I was debating on where to take my vehicle for some repairs that needed to be done, and I have trust issues with shops due to bad experiences in my past with untrustworthy shops with little to no integrity, a friend recommended Cornerstone Automotive and I’m so glad he did, Rob was very approachable and knowledgeable and updated me every step of the way and kept me reassured throughout the whole process. If I could leave 10 stars, I would. I had them do a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle I was purchasing. They not only provided pictures and a lengthy description of the vehicle but, after leaving, I was replacing the air filter and noticed that a screw was missing. I called just to see if they happened to notice it missing during the inspection and they told me to swing by and they would find one that works (it was missing when they did the inspection). They then spent 20 minutes replacing not only that screw but 3 others that were missing! Top notch service which is really rare to see these days. Couldnt recommend them more!

These guys are great. I was in a pinch when I first took my car to Cornerstone and I found everybody to be friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I’ve taken my car back a few times since then and have had that same experience every time. I’m grateful to have found this place and recommend it to everyone I know.

I was very pleased with my experience at Cornerstone. The owner was straightforward with the price and it turned out to be hundreds of dollars less than another shop I priced. The staff was friendly and professional. The work was done fast, in one day, and all the issues were fully resolved. This will definitely be my shop of choice going forward. I highly recommend it.

I took my vehicle to this place after I made the mistake of allowing walmart to do a oil change. Walmart left their weight mat under my hood which created issues. Cornerstone was to fix the issues. They were really good dealing with Walmart insurance, they were really nice as well.2 weeks after they repaired my vehicle (which included the transmissions line) it broke and popped off during a road trip. Transmission fluid ran out all over and created a dark black smoke behind me. I found a place to pull over. I was almost an hour away from home. I called my husband and a tow truck. My husband took pictures under my Yukon after he discovered what had happened. Of course I had to pay the extra milage that accured because of my tow. The tow took 2 hrs to get to us of no fault of their own. I had 2 small kids and a small dog with me in 100 degree weather. We had the vehicle towed back tocornerstone.My husband showed them the pictures, they repaired it again. I called them to confirm that the vehicle was ready. They said it was. I asked if they were sure this time. The person who I spoke to told me that this kind of thing happens with these lines..... really?????? Ive had this vehicle for 7 years. Im the 2nd owner. My mom was the first who purchased it new. It never happened before!No apologies, and no acknowledgment of their mistake that caused us a very uncomfortable and potentially dangerous situation. No empathy what so ever.Folks I would not recommend going here.UPDATE: In reading the response from Cornerstone I now can add lying to the list. They never apologized to either my husband or I. I gave them that chance. All the guy did was make excuses as to why the part broke off. They never took responsibility for their incompetence. I spoke to other mechanics that verified that this is very rare if the job is done correctly. I rarely give bad reviews to small businesses but after the experience Ive had with this place I think its justified. We shall see if this happens again in another 2 weeks or so.

Cornerstone has always been really good. They get you in and out with the oil changes, and they do good quality work. I have had a few repairs made at Cornerstone, and I have no complaints at all. Always very helpful. they explain what is wrong and how they can fix it.

New to town and needed a trustworthy mechanic. After reading other reviews I decided to try Cornerstone. Great experience! They fixed me up ahead right on schedule so I could use the car for a road trip. The owner himself delivered the car right to my house! They gave me an estimate of some other repairs that should probably be done, but not in a pressure way. Genuinely came across as sincere and honest. Found my go to shop for all future services!

This is probably the best shop I have taken my truck to in over a decade. The professionalism, quality, timeliness and pricing was beyond my expectations. The crew here at Cornerstone provided me with courtesy and customer service that should be the de facto standard for all automotive shops. Thank you so much to Jonathan and his hard working crew. Stopped by for a pre purchase inspection on a vehicle I was purchasing for my business. Staff was very professional and was the cleanest shop I had ever been in. They did an awesome job and did a thorough inspection of the vehicle giving me the tools to make a smart informed purchase. They were meticulous and even broke down the things they found in their level of severity. Definitely recommend these guys if you’re looking for quality honest service

My family was moving to Washington State and it usual mechanic messed up someone major in my engine when replacing a leaky valve seal the day before we were scheduled to leave town in our truck. Cornerstone automotive worked us in on a Friday afternoon, found the problem almost instantly, the wiring for cylinders 4 & 6 were crossed! They fixed it right up all while accommodating us and our 65 lb great Pyrenees dog out front and the shady waiting area with chairs and plenty of water! Their service was God sent! I recommend everyone going to them when they need help with their vehicles period our vehicle made it to Washington state with no problems the entire 2,226 miles!!

Great service! I took it in for an anti-freeze issue. Aaron and the mechanic didnt find anything but took the time to open it up and look at it with me and we found that issue was basically the equivalent of a loose radiator cap.I paid nothing for the advice. Aaron followed up by phone twice updating me. Im impressed with the cleanliness, courtesy, and follow up by phone. They closed my favorite Pepboys location but Cornerstone will do quite nicely as a replacement. Thanks!!

10/25/19Took my truck to Cornerstone Automotive for an alignment and got it back the same day. No issues, got a printout of the work and everything seems normal, drives fine.10/27/19Notice that the Front Right tire has a lean(camber) and also noticed there’s a 1/2” difference in height from the front left to the right. The camber had everything to do with the alignment work, the height difference probably had nothing to do with the alignment but it’s still a concern.10/28/19I take the truck back to Cornerstone with my concerns and we talked for about 15 minutes. They were very courteous throughout the process and even one of the mechanics rode with me to talk about the problems. The answer I get back is the “tolerance is within limits” and the adjustments that they had to make was to the maximum and no other correction can be made. The printout does say the tolerance are within limits but there is a noticeable difference in camber between the front left and right. They don’t touch the truck and I leave with still concerns about the work.10/29/19I take the truck to McGuires and I tell them about my concerns. They were very courteous and told me that they will get me when they have run through their checks. Once they completed their checks, they take me back to the truck and show me the diagnostics and yes the tolerance for the alignment is all within limits but they did notice the camber and informed me that they can fix it. 45 minutes later, I get the truck back and the camber is gone, it is straight. I’m happy and the price comes out to $65 even. (I paid 89.99 plus tax at conrnerstone) I come back home and measure the height difference and it’s gone. Totally straight, aligned wheels and completely level truck. The whole time I am thinking, I should have brought the truck to McGuire’s in the first place. Cheaper price but higher quality service is a no brainer.- - - - - Update - - - - -The store did reach out to me issued a full refund. Did not ask me to change my review or anything close. Just a simple refund and to me that shows they actually cared about customer satisfaction. Changed to 4/5.

They didnt take advantage of me because Im a woman, they listened to what I believed was wrong and they got my daughter rolling very quickly. I would like to point out their after hours drop off made the process easy, I had a tow truck drop the vehicle off the they called me in the morning to let me know how many others they had to work on first. Clean, professional, friendly and they make sure youre satisfied.

NO STARS. Starter replaced after multiple attempts tried to fix but made matter worst endedup with white smoke coming from tail pipe and vehicle shaking only to park in driveway and never started again. I would never refer to anyone worst mistake ever taking to this repair shop.

These guys are great. They have worked on my 05 F250 and my 2015 Genesis. They have always completed the work on time or earlier than scheduled. I took my F250 in thinking I had a problem with the breaks and the found they were in good shape and they didnt try to fix something that didnt need fixing, they also didnt charge me for the appointment. That type of honesty in the auto repair business is very.... rare these days. After my first experience with Cornerstone in Temple, I will never take my vehicles to any other repair garage, including the dealership. Great service, Robert the owner is extremely professional.

I just moved to town and needed to find a solid mechanic I could rely on to take great care of my vehicles. Robert and his team went above and beyond, they helped me out of a last minute jam with an issue with my wife’s car that had to be addressed immediately. I was treated with professionalism and respect throughout the process, everything was fully explained to me and the price was more than fair. I will bring my family’s cars here for as long as I live in Temple.

Reasonable price, outstanding service, and trustworthy.Before bringing in my car, I called a few places, and Conerstone Automotive definitely quoted competitive price. I was rather surprised as this is a newer place and assumed that it would cost more. I was wrong. Very, very reasonable and competitive price.Service was above and beyond. They even took me home when I dropped off the car - though I live close by.I am not a mechanic, but I messed a lot with cars during my younger days. So, I know enough not to be fooled with unnecessary charges that typically occur when you bring your car to a dealer. E.g., Your cars need a coolant flush - only $399. These guys are legit. You can trust them. They will not ask you to perform any unnecessary services.I am glad to have found a great, nearby place to take care of my cars.

I am so happy to have this business in my area! The most important trait I look for in an auto mechanic is TRUST, especially since I’m not an expert. I recently was quoted an A/C repair from my local dealership service department of about $1,500 saying our vehicle needed significant replacement parts. I looked for a second opinion and price comparison at Cornerstone. After telling Cornerstone what the dealership said was needed, they quoted a price half what the dealership quoted and said they would order the parts and be ready to take my vehicle in two days. After I took the vehicle in and gave them a thorough history of the A/C problem along with other signs I had noticed such as dashboard lights and gauges, they properly checked and diagnosed the problem, just like a good doctor. Turns out that the problem wasn’t with the A/C or its parts. There was an issue with the vehicle’s temperature sensor, giving the vehicle the false impression that it was over heating and, therefore, cut off the A/C in response. Once the sensor was replaced, the A/C worked perfected. Total for replacing the sensor cost me about $200. I have no doubt that the dealership would have eventually found out that the sensor was the issue but still charged me $1,500 and not told me what the real problem was.Robert, Jim, and the crew at Cornerstone Automotive Temple has my business for life!

My first visit to Cornerstone was today. I bought an AC Delco car battery to carry out and have installed in another vehicle at home. Finding the battery was tricky and they discovered the five year old battery was superceded by another, changing the part numbers. They had to order the battery and had it delivered there ready to pick up within a couple of hours. The Service Advisor was nice enough to load the new battery into my vehicles trunk and take the old one out of the trunk and carry inside for the core. I did not have to lift a thing which is great because Im disabled. I asked if it were possible to top off the air in my tires while I was there. The Service Advisor went above and beyond and topped off all four of my tires himself. Its things like this that get my my business. 👍Edit: Today, two years later from last review, I went back because the battery was leaking acid and corroded the terminals, thanks to the extreme heat weve had this summer. The guys were friendly and helpful, just as before. I had to run a couple of errands and by the time I got back the new battery had arrived. After a reasonable wait, they had the new battery in, terminals all cleaned up and I was set to go. The battery swap is complex because of its position under the hood. A panel must be removed, a plastic computer cover then the computer flipped back out of the way and a brace removed before ever starting on the battery process. Once all of that is done, the battery terminals and the rods that hold the battery in place can be removed. Then reverse the process once the new battery is in. Despite all that craziness GM decided to put in place, it was completed in a timely manner. The waiting area was cool and comfortable and guest WiFi was available. I definitely chose the right place to purchase my battery from.

Excellent service. They took their time to explain everything my car needed and even wrote me a timeline as to what needed to be done and when. They were very friendly and even went and got the tire I needed for my car to pass inspection so I wouldnt have to go get it myself. Again, great customer service!

Honest, Knowledgeable, Professional and Christian staff.I take all of my vehicles to them as well as my mother and sisters vehicles. They keep you updated and explain what they have found and their recommendations, as well as if everything is fine!Being women, it is great to be able to trust they wont try to run a fast one over on us.

Great work, shop is clean, all the bays had work, with reasonably prices. The service manager or own? that I talked with was very pleasant and professional.They also do vehicle inspections for your tags. I also think they are a Christian owned company.Guess what? Ill be back!

Cornerstone Automotive recently replaced the rear oil seal and brake pads on my 2013 GMC Yukon. This shop is professional, clean, and all employees were courteous and helpful. My repair was completed quickly and completed at a reasonable cost that was less than the dealer estimate. Reasonably priced repair from professional mechanics is hard to find but that is what Cornerstone provides. I would recommend Cornerstone to my friends and family.

I take all my vehicles to Cornerstone because Robert and his team are the best around. They service my vehicles look for problems and dont try to push unnecessary services. Work is completed on time and at a reasonable price.

I have a wheelchair accessible van & they were able to (using my van) take me home after dropping off my van & then come pick me up when the van was ready. I had prob w EVI module. They replaced it & let me know ahead of time what else needed to be done, fan mode light was flickering, but this did not affect the performance of the van so I chose not to have that repaired. They gave me an estimate beforehand & everyone was very professional.

WARNING!!! Please do not take your vehicle here!! PLEASE READ BEFORE HANDING OVER YOUR VEHICLE FOR REPAIRS!!! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! Instead of taking my vehicle to a Chevy dealer I thought giving an independent my business would be the right thing to do, huge mistake! Unfortunately I am now forced to take my truck to Chevy. First visit - after voicing my concern that my vehicle wasn’t starting and running rough...they replaced the air filter and charged me $155..00. After being told, “we think it’s fixed” I brought it home, still scratching my head as to his comment, “we think it’s fixed”, I soon realized nothing had changed. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt and offering them a second chance to make it right I brought it back. Being assured they had 2 previous Chevy mechanics I felt I was in good hands. The next day, I hadn’t received a call so I drove down to check on my truck and spoke with the owner Robert who told me they didn’t know what was wrong. When I questioned him he became defensive and aggressive towards me. I have never dealt with a business, let alone an owner who was so unprofessional. I guess I will have to think twice before giving small businesses my by business again. If there was a rating for 0 I would have happily gave it to them.

Cornerstone was able to take my truck and fix the problem for a fair price. They didnt try to upsell me, or push any unneeded repairs. They were very professional and helpful. Ill be sure to recommend them in the future to my friends!

We came in from out of town to bring our daughter to college and my truck broke down as soon as we got to Temple. We called a few different mechanics in the area. Cornerstone was the only that could get us in, and that was because they understood our situation of having to head back home in two days. We had it towed to the shop. Upon being there they came across many things wrong. Unfortunately we didnt have the time to have it fixed in town. But they didnt charge us anything for the diagnostics they ran. We definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for one in Temple.

I have had my pickup worked on, my moms car fixed, and a purchase inspection done here. I’ve also had work done at various other auto shops around town, and the difference is noticeable!A basic example of this. Robert, the owner, took me back into his office, to go over the purchase inspection for my wife’s used car, and went over every picture, note, and code with an explanation. And determined that the vehicle had been in a wreck even though there was no reports of one on the carfax.Most other mechanics give you a printout and a basic recommendation.

Drove all the way across town after telling them I could not just leave my truck. I needed it for work. Got there to find out. Oh no you have to leave it because we can’t. We don’t know what time we can get to. It will never use your shop again.

Ive been to cornerstone for 3 seperate car issues. My vehicle was over heating and the antifreeze level was was fine. Unkown to me the fluid level in the radiator itself was low. They simply added more fluid to the radiator and the problem was fixed. They could have been dishonest and made up some problems in order to charge me more but they didnt. On a separate occasion while changing my alternator they found another small issue and fixed it for free.I really believe theyre running a great honest shop and I would recommend them to my friends.

I took my vehicle into Cornerstone thinking it needed an alignment at the minimum, hoping it was nothing more serious! I dropped it off as requested and got a call back a few hours later from Robert, the owner. He told me that he could not find anything wrong and he also had another gentleman drive it as well with the same conclusion. He even offered to let me drive it with him in the car to show him what my concern was. After driving with him, he explained different possibilities of what I was feeling, which all made sense. My husband usually takes care of car issues but he is currently in Afghanistan and I am trying hard to keep up with everything and manage the best I can and I appreciate him taking the time to explain things to me and being honest......He could have easily taken advantage of my situation for his benefit! Robert was very patient with me and answered all my questions and offered his help in the future if needed. Left my car with these guys in November while I went into the hospital due to COVID. Vehicle was running extremely rough, could not go over 30 MPH. They diagnosed it as a all cylinders misfiring. They called told me what the problem could be. Could be simple could be complex, here is the price for both. They started with the least expensive route and that did not fix the problem, so they went with the other route which was replacement of the ECM. The entire time they kept in constant communication, and to my surprise the final bill was less than the originally quoted. In conclusion I was very happy with the work they performed and the professionalize they showed.

One of the hardest things to find today is an honest mechanic. I was having trouble with my wifes car and chose Cornerstone because it is close to my house. First time I had it worked on I was expecting the worst. But much to my suprise less than a hundred dollars and im on my way!! Fast forward about a month or so same problem with the vehicle...I bring it back and the part needs to be changed(I was told of this possibility before I left the first time). So I called the dealer just for a price comparison and lo and behold Cornerstone beat them by about 170 dollars. I than chose the obvious..right? Well Cornerstone calls me back after seting up an appointment to repair my vehicle...I was than informed that there is an open Service bullitn on this particular problem through Ford and it should be covered under an extended warranty! So good news is I got it fixed free...Cornerstone did not get the business that day to fix my vehicle. There was no way I would have known this if it were not for the integrity and honesty that you get when dealing with this professional establishment. I will only bring my vehicles here from now on. Thankyou Cornerstone for being who you are!

Dropped my Jeep off with A/C issues not blowing cold. Cornerstone Automotive vaccum tested the system found a leak and repaired it the same day. I now have cold blowing A/C in my jeep. I am upgrading my previous review after receiving top notch service from Robert, Rob, and Aaron. Robert and his team provided excellent customer service while sorting out a clutch issue, that ultimately needed a new master cylinder. It took several attempts to get the truck shifting well, but that is a testament to the shop honoring the warranty. Not every issue can be a one and done fix, because vehicles often have multiple parts affecting a system. In my instance, we needed to work our way through the list, rather than needlessly throw money at a problem. While we all want the repair to be simple and inexpensive, some times it takes troubleshooting attempts to resolve a single issue. The older the vehicle, the more you need a measured approach, as something like an air conditioner, clutch, and brakes; are systems comprised of several parts. So replace what is obviously worn, then see how it does. Be patient and you will have a good result.

Had just moved to Temple. Had car issues and they were very helpful. Found out what was wrong explained everything to me and gave me estimate. Found out after starting work that there was a part that did not need replacing so contacted me to tell me price was lower. Got car back and runs great. They are very friendly and keep in touch with customer while working on car. They will be my go to mechanic fof any other car problems.

Brought a vehicle into their facility around 4:30-5:00. All I needed was to have them do a diagnostic check on something that was wrong with the vehicle. The shop closes at 6 mind you. The employees never even got a chance to look at the vehicle within the few hours they had. 6pm rolls around and I see across the street (from where I had to walk too).. that they were closing up shop. They did not care to call and say that they were closing and didn’t get a chance to run the check; and to add to that, they didn’t care to inform me that they were going to keep it over night. This is something you tell a costumer. You don’t just assume that it’s okay. Won’t be returning.

I arrived there to have a inspection done on my car for registration. Unfortunately the person that takes care of that was on lunch break.
