They called letting me know they had a tech available earlier than scheduled. Unfortunately we were not home. They called a few hours later letting us know the tech was available for our scheduled time. Peyton (?) showed up and was very professional, friendly, and did a great job diagnosing problem. The system is very old and wired a little strange. He replaced the burnt condenser fan motor, capacitor, and wiring and then checked everything over. Works great. I waited a week to make sure no issues and there are none. I will definitely use Temple Heat and Air again if needed.

Payton was a wealth of knowledge, came and checked everything out late of a Friday afternoon after another tech got held up. Was willing to check the venting up in the attic. Gave me peace of mind knowing way more about how things work than I had ever been taught in the past. I know he didn’t have to, but he went above and beyond for our family! That’s huge because we have kids and grandkids and want to make sure we’re set for the upcoming cold. Thank you for hiring such an outstanding employee!

This company sent good men who worked until it was right and then showed me how to use the thermostat. Very professional. I would recommend this company.

My experience with this company was incredibly frustrating. They quoted me $2,000 for parts and labor, plus another $800 to clean mildew. Then when I spoke to Don, he pushed for a new unit entirely, priced at $4,600, saying I was “halfway there” and highlighting a 5-year warranty. It felt like a hard sell.To make matters worse, a few months earlier, I had already paid them over $200 just to diagnose the problem. Fed up, I called High Caliber Heating and Air Conditioning. Chris came out the next day, fixed the issue in under an hour, and only charged $800 for everything, parts and labor included.I asked him about the mildew, and Chris explained that it’s normal for our climate and can easily be cleaned with household supplies—no need for a pricey service.As a woman, I’ve often felt taken advantage of in these situations, and this was no different. I strongly suggest avoiding this company, as they seem more interested in upselling than providing honest, fair service.

They found a problem and fixed it for no extra charge. Something was missing so they went out to get it the same day. We appreciate all the effort to give us their best to complete the service.

I got what I needed done. Payton was very informative and professional. I’m pleased with the work and education of my ac unit and how to care for it in the future. The person who came to check on my A/C unit discovered that the capacitor was not working to its best. He showed the stats of the one on my unit and where it should be. He did say he had one in his truck and I had him replace. All very efficiently done.

The service itself overall was good. The technician was great very informative and helpful. The only issue was an appointment was made and a window was scheduled yet they were more than 4 hours late. I had to call to find out why. Would have appreciated had the office called to let us know that instead of spending an entire afternoon waiting.

My A/C was blowing hot air. I called around 3:30 pm on 8/1 and DiDi was so vey nice and told me all her technicians were booked for today and it would be tomorrow morning. 8/2 before anyone could get to me. She expressed her feelings due to my situation of the heat. ( very thoughtful ) about 30 minutes later she called back and said they had a technician in route would that be ok for them to come today, of course! Harry showed up with a huge smile, kindness and full of knowledge. He told me everything he did and replaced to my unit and even left the old part to show it had been replaced. I inquired how often should I do maintenance. He explained they had a program for 2X a year for a very reasonable cost, and I’m definitely going to sign up in January because he just served my unit. Gotta give this company the props they deserve, they are so helpful and incredibly efficient and for me thats all thats needed. Their timing on sending someone out is about what you expect for an HVAC company, they do the best they can (especially since its summer and they be buuusssyy) but they show up regardless. The workers weve had are extremely efficient and hard working and doing their best to fix and/or figure out the problem. Pricing is also what youd expect but its worth it as long as our units are in working order. Thank you so much guys for your help!!!

I have been using Temple Heat and Air for many years for repairs and then installation of a new system several years ago. I have gotten the twice annual service for the entire time and am very satisfied. The high efficiency system I had installed several years ago is still saving me a great deal on my monthly electricity bill. I emphatically recommend the company. November 2024 their technicians did a great, efficient job for this latest inspection.

Excellent service. An extra thank you to the workers who installed the brand new unit which was a brand new model. A special thank you goes out to Payton who was relentless in trouble shooting and solving a couple of issues. He would not quit until everything was checked and doubled checked making sure all causes were resolved. Thank you Payton!!!! Thank you Temple Heat and Air. After a few days, there have been issues that needed to be resolved. They are working hard to resolve, but there has not been a resolution to it all yet

They saved us a lot of money compared to a different company. We hired them as a second opinion and they were thorough and kind and explained things well. The previous company we hired said we had to replace our unit even though it was only a couple years old. Temple Heat & Air said we didn’t need to replace the unit but just needed to fix the wiring and seal the ductwork, which is going to be a lot cheaper. They were great!

From the beginning of our process until the end the staff has been extremely professional and worked very quickly to resolve our issue. I highly recommend.

Harry was so nice and did such a good job of repairing my AC. He explained everything to me and my AC was working when he left. I thought the fee was beyond reasonable. They will be my go to HVAC people. Also their receptionist was friendly and efficient.

I learned a few things about HVAC heating and cooling systems. I learned that there’s certain companies that just clean your ducts and keep your system clean. And then I learned that there is authorized service dealers that actually fix it when iIt’s broke. Temple heat and air are the ones who will fix it when it’s broke. They are amazing. They came fast. They were efficient. They knew the problem. They solved it all within an hour. If you have a Trane or American standard heating and cooling system, this is definitely the place to go to keep that system running to its full potential. The Gentlemen was friendly. He was knowledgeable. He made sure I understood what needed to be fixed and why it needed to be fixed. And he fixed it and the price was very good. I wish I had known about this sooner. I wouldn’t have wasted so much money with the other company that doesn’t know anything about my system except to clean it. It’s a valuable lesson. I suggest you go to Temple heat and air if you need to maintain or repair the electrical components of your system.

They came out last Friday to fix my a/c said it was some loose wires, and the thermostat needed some batteries (which I provided) charged me $253 ($13 for batteries). Now a week later my a/c goes out again! I call them they want more money to come out to look at it! I dont have that type of money to be just throwing around. I have 3 kids living in this house and this heat is no joke.. NEVER will I use them again!

Temple Heat and Air are not only knowledgeable but honest and caring. Last August, my husband was on hospice and our air conditioning went out. I called and they IMMEDIATELY sent someone over so we didnt have to take him somewhere else. Today, they came and corrected the issue with a clogged a/c drain. Everyone that I have spoken to on the phone and who have come out to our home have been nothing but professional and courteous. I have been having a AC leaking issue with my ceiling being damaged 3 times and I had Bell AC and ARS come through for service and they failed to find anything wrong?? 24 months later I have Temple Heat and Air resolve in one afternoon. We have old heating & cooling units and wanted them checked out. It all still worked great, but wanted a professional opinion on if it was also working Efficiently. Andrew gave the entire system a thorough check and offered his honest opinion. It was truly customer first, not sales driven, and we appreciated that so much. That alone, will make Temple Heating & AC our go to company now and one well recommend to others. Our neighbors had the same type of experience with them a few years ago and recommended them to us.

We had them come out for an emergency as our heat went out unexpectedly on the weekend. Our unit is not even 3 years old. They told us they could not fix it right now and we needed a leak test. They said they would have to come back out sometime due in the weekday. The tech was nice enough but he didn’t seem to know what he was doing. He had to call someone on the phone a few times to explain to me what was happening. We decided not to wait for them to return and called another company. Turns out there was no leak but a broken part which the new company found out just by walking up to the unit. I was charged $150 for nothing. I do not recommend using them unless you want to just give money away for nothing.

We called for an inspection of an older house we were wanting to purchase. The technician who came out was very professional and friendly. He was able to answer all of my questions as well as provide Insight of his own. I would highly recommend these folks for any of your HVAC needs!

I live out of state, and needed to get service on my mom’s heat pump. Temple Heating and Air was the first company I called. Their answering service was responsive, offering after hours service if needed. I asked for a return phone call during normal hours and was called promptly when they opened. Their technician, Mike, showed up during the app time quoted. Called me to discuss the diagnostic and the price. After the repair he called me again to explain exactly how the heat pump was operating and spent time explaining the thermostat functions with my mom. Thank you Mike!!

Appt went well. Alexander was very helpful. HVAC check went well. Still investigating possibilities on how to get consistent air flow from two vents in the same room which was main reason for my call. Optimistic that we’ll find a solution.

This is only the only company I will ever call. The level of professionalism from customer service to the tech was exceptional! My initial contact with the call agent made me feel like a priority. She immediately had a tech reach out to me. I might add that it was after normal business hours. Andrew contacted me within minutes. He was so responsive with his availability that I had to ask him to give me some time to be available for him to service my ac that completely stopped working. Andrew showed up all smiles and ready to fix our problem. The temp outside was over 100 degrees so we pretty much elevated him to GQ’s “Man of the Year” walking through our front door. He got us up and running, back to livable conditions within a hour. We heard some rattling coming from the vents about an hour after he left. We reached back out and you guessed it. He arrived back to our place within minutes. The rattling was no major issue. Merely tightening of the vent screws. Which no one has ever touched in years. Andrew rocks and so does this company.

Colby came just before 5 pm but stayedpast quitting time to insure that my units were running properly. His knowledge and professionalism are 2nd to none.

We had found that our ac unit was not turning on in the middle of the night, mid summer. We contacted Temple Heat and Air right at 8 am. By 1030 they were already at my door. The company even called right before the tech was to head to our home to make sure we would be ready for him. We were so impressed with the service we have a fee projects we plan on hiring them to complete.

This was the first time I used this company, I called with an emergency at 8am and they had someone out in 2 hours. Problem was fixed within an hour. They didnt break the bank, which is absolutely amazing! I will be calling them with any issues I have with my ac or heat.

Our air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the day and within an hour they sent a technician out to look at our ac. Our technician was Jay he was so nice and informative and he knew what the problem was right away! I really appreciated how prompt and professional he was! He even when above a beyond by cleaning some of the dried grass from the bottom of our unit which he did not have to do. I would recommend this company to everyone. Their tech arrived ahead of Schedule Time (which they called to inform and asked if that was okay.) Then when the tech arrived (Justin) he went straight to work. Diagnosed the problem and Fixed it within a few hours. He was Courteous and Professional. I was a bit Shocked with the Price at first but seeing how high everything is these days I really cant complain. Besides he had the part in hand and finished the job the same day. It sure beats the suffering heat So... definitely recommend this company and will be using them more often in the near future.

No AC for two weeks. Unreliable. They left today to go get a part and assured my apt manager they would be back by the end of the day. Came home to still no AC and a Holiday tomorrow. With all the other options out there they are the last place I would call. My MIL uses them and had four people come out in a months time and all told her something different.

Beware!!! I initially called in for a quote and the woman who answered said they could send someone over the next day. I met with Daniel the next day who was about to start working when I asked him I had just called for a quote and wanted to see it before I get surprised with a bill. He then proceeds to write me a bill on a blank sheet of paper with some other info on the other side. The bill ended up coming out to just about $1200. I told him that was a little too high and I would wait. He then informed me there would be a $70 service call. I explained how I did not see a fee on their website and the woman who I initially spoke to never mentioned as well. I didn’t want argue with Daniel about it so I paid it and decided to call in. Before I left Daniel I asked him if he could write a quote on their letter head or an actual quote not just on a piece of paper which he did and was $1100. I called and explained how $1200 was way too much and how I wasn’t aware of service fee. The woman told me the owner would give me a call back, After a few minutes the owner called and said he would take the price down to $900. I told him that I did not want to do the service and explained how on his website there wasn’t anything about a service fee. He then proceeds to tell me he would waive it if I accept the service. I did not, after hanging up I decide to go back to their website to take a screenshot as I was just on there right before the call. Well after the call the website was taken down, If this is the way they do business I highly recommend finding another company.

I had a clogged drain pan and they fixed me up. Mike came out even though it was late and he had a long day. I can’t brag on this company enough. They are awesome!

I live in Killeen and have been using Temple Heat and Air Condition for years now and they are by far the BEST HVAC company in Central Texas. They do excellent work and their customer service awesome. When I have had problems with my HAC service, whether heating or cooling in the past they went above and beyond each time to fix the issue. I will definitely continue to use their services and will recommend them to my family and friends.

Had a problem with water leaking into house from AC in attic. They worked several days and one got us thru the weekend with no water leaking into house and Steven was out on Monday and got us squared away with no water leak with the finished repair. They all worked hard in the heat.

6-24-22 the gentlemen that came to check my house A/C were earlier than I expected.Introduced themselves and went right to doing their job. When they were done I went to pay them and the bill was less then I expected. They politely said that is too much, reviewed the bill with me and gave me back the change. They came to check out our AC problem on the same day we requested service, kept us well informed of the progress in obtaining the required part, and had our unit fixed within 48 hours. Technicians were very professional and knowledgeable. We are so thankful for their excellent service and highly recommend them!!!

I needed them on a hot summers day when a power outage reset all my thermostat settings and was blowing hot air. They can that day without extra payment, were professional and knew what they were doing. Stayed until they made sure all the settings were where they needed to be and then helped me know how to do that same reset if it were to happen again.So affordable and I would recommend them to anyone!!! So satisfied with this company.

Had a mini split until moved, new mini split installed, old AC serviced, new vent extension installed, new return vent installed (old return moved), and completely new 4.5 tonn HVAC installed. About $20k of work overall.They did a good job, however, 6m later, I didnt realize that my furnace wasnt working until the first cold front blew in. The furnace vent had not been connected because it was 3in and new code required 4in.They got that installed and everything works fine.Now I just have to learn how to properly program the damn smart thermostat.

Was recommended this company by a friend after having a company come out a day late on an emergency AC service. Their technician spent over 3 hours at my home and did nothing productive. After calling Temple Heat and Air, we had someone out the same day who got our AC working fast and didnt try to charge us an obscene amount for the work.Ill only be using this company from now on.

Justin and Don were top notch with work and detail. Justin had sources to contact for tech questions. Answering service communications were excellent and everyone cared and took charge of non working motor. Got the new motor overnight and installed next day. Cannot be more pleased. Jay let me know how the last company I used did a cheap job on the outside unit and could have possibly killed someone the way that unnamed company did what they did.I recieved a discount on the installation of my new thermostat that I didnt know I had coming. Definitely will be calling them again if I need work on the HVAC.

I contacted Temple Heat & Air at 10:40 AM and put in a request for service with Becki. By 12:30 we had a new fan motor and capacitor installed and our office was cooling down! Our technician, Jeremy, did a GREAT JOB and worked through lunch to make sure we were back up and running! I cant say enough good things about Temple Heat & Air and its wonderful, helpful, friendly staff!

I called them out to fix my AC and their service tech told me I had a bad capacitor. With parts and labor my total came to about $175.00. I understand that parts need to be marked up and that the techs must be paid but they invoiced me about $70 for a $12 part and charged me about $40 more than the service call should have taken. It takes literally about 5 minutes to replace the capacitor on this unit. But, in all fairness of business I accepted the charges as I was too far out of town to do things myself.Two days later, I get home and my AC is still not working. One of the same techs (there were two the first time) comes out and determines that my fan motor is bad. Its likely that the fan motor was the problem in the first place and that the capacitor was replaced for no reason. Anyway, the calls back to the office to get an estimate on the part. He comes back with a work order that lists the motor at $440.00 PLUS the cost of labor! A fan motor takes A LOT more time and effort to replace than a capacitor so I would assumed the $105.00 labor charge I had paid for the capacitor replacement (which only required the removal of 3 small screws) would be just pennies compared to the labor on replacing a fan motor so I declined the service. The next morning I located the replacement fan motor myself and found it could be ordered and delivered to my home for a total cost of $115.00.Temple Heat & Air twice attempted to charge me at a very high mark-up because they assumed I would pay through the nose to get my air working again as soon as possible in this Texas heat. Customers BEWARE!!!! No company needs to quadrupal the parts cost to cover themselves under warranty replacement.

Highly disappointed. Called for after hours service, never got a call back. Called again 4 hours later to let them know I never got a call back. It is now hour and a half later AND still havent received a call. I called another company, called back in 30 min and was at my house 4 hours later and fixed my unit.

Repairman came out to service unit, and everything looked good no repairs needed. Did the annual pms, cleaned unit and was finished.

We needed them quickly before the Snowstorm hit Temple and tech Jay was out and did great! We were fortunate to not lose power and water for long but having heat up and running was a benefit.
