They installed a whole new system recently. I was originally going to try to just replace the outside unit because the inside was fine. Jimmy explained the pros and cons of my options. He was never pushy or trying to sell things I didn’t need, though told me about improvements I could look into. He educated me and never balked at my questions (there were many lol). Jimmy is extremely knowledgeable and professional. The financing was also pain free and seamless, everything done online. The interest is high, but there are no early payoff penalties and you can save money by paying early. I can’t recommend them enough.

Kens Heat & Air has taken care of my needs since 1980, when I was a developer and home builder. I later began investing in real estate, and they now keep the systems running in my rental properties. I also trusted Kens to install the systems in my personal home.

Your technician (Ozzie) is both knowledgeable and personable. He got my outside unit that had tripped out on low pressure, up and running in short order. He gave me a lot of helpful info regarding my planned replacement of the unit.Thank you. Quick reliable service.

A/C had stopped blowing cool air. Kept switching to fan or heat. Ken’s came out and fixed a compressor problem and added Freon. Was over $300 Really nice professional. Unit working fine for a week or so I called them back and they came out it just so happens the unit was working fine at that moment so technician said nothing was wrong. Well it’s definitely doing it again!!! Need someone who will look deeper into the problem and find out what’s wrong. They’re very nice and professional but they failed to fix our problems. We’re elderly and I suffer from asthma and my roommate uses oxygen and we depend on cool air. Going to have to try another company to fix it since they don’t seem to have anyone who can fix it! I can’t keep paying high repair bills. At least they didn’t charge me for the second trip out here.Second updated post!!!! We’ve had another company out and found the problem! The compressor is not working properly. Ken’s A/C put in the wrong refrigerant and our unit froze up! Our coils are leaking and the air filters were not installed correctly (not Ken’s fault). This was restricting air flow. Y’all had placed stickers on the equipment as if y’all had been the company that installed it but were not. It just so happens we had the company that installed the unit out here fixing it. I spent all that money only to cause greater problems. Buyer beware! You need to make sure you’re using the correct materials when you’re working on equipment!!!! This has been a costly mistake. I’m now having to buy a new unit. Don’t get me wrong. I would have had to buy one anyways but I wouldn’t have been out the money I gave you and the hot times! I’m elderly and suffering from asthma and my roommate is on oxygen. It is very difficult for us to breathe when it is hot and humid! I don’t expect you to live up to your mistakes. A refund would be nice but not likely!

I had issues with my Air not cooling and called Kens , they were at my home within a few hours and diagnosed the issues. I have had other companies out to repair prior and I will say Kens has my business from now on. I learned more from their tech about my unit, issues that might need to be addressed and overall performance. I like that he spent the time to answer all my questions and concerns. When it comes time to upgrade our system we will definitely be using Kens again!

I called Kens, as our AC system stopped cooling our home on a very hot day in Texas. It was the weekend, but the technician on call was nearby. He arrived within 15-20 minutes of my call and diagnosed and corrected the problem in less than 10 mins. I had a planned gathering at our home I thought I would have to cancel, but the house was cool in a matter of a few minutes. I am extremely happy with the Kens team.

Ken’s Heating and Air crew was very efficient, cleaned up after theirselves and was very mindful and careful when maneuvering the equipment in my home. After the installation they called to let me know everything was finished and went over a few details. Reassured me if I had any questions or concerns to give them a call and they’d be happy to come back and help me out. I would highly recommend Kens Heat and Air for all your HVAC needs! Oscar and Nick showed up on time and went right to work. They were courteous and diligent in their work. They respected the floors and walls in my house and worked through lunch to get the job finished in about 7 hours total time. Not bad for removing my old system and installing a complete new one.

EXCELLENT SERVICE !During an electrical storm I had 2 rental properties get zapped. They were out within 1.5 hours and fixed both units within the hour during a 102 degree day. Servicemen knew exactly what it was.

Blower motor for central air and heat was randomly cycling on and off. Very annoying. The technician diagnosed the issue with my Trane system. Needed a new circuit board. They were able to order the card for this 27 year old system. Installed new card. Problem resolved.

We use Kens both commercially and residentially. I have been satisfied with service in both regards. Quick response when there is an issue and with new install not only does it perform like it should (heating and cooling), but it looks great as well. Ken’s HVAC has serviced my home for 10 years now. I have had a maintenance contract with them every year. They do a 5 star job every time they come. Ots always a plus when you call and you get a real person rather than VM. Ozzie, one of their technicians is great. He’s Knowledgeable, professional and polite. From my initial call with the office manager, to the Technician, Josh, coming out to fix my unit, Kens Heat & Air gets the highest marks. Im new to this area, and I didnt know who to trust with this repair job. The office manager who handled my initial call was very attentive, to me detailing my problem. She let me send her pictures of my heating system to view what had gone wrong. She even sent me their fee schedule, so I would know what to expect when it was time to pay the bill, which ended-up being very reasonable. After setting the appointment, I also got a call from her letting me know my technician was 30 minutes away and would be there shortly. Thats going the extra yard, in my opinion. And Josh the Technician was prompt, efficient and had the parts on his truck that were needed. A very nice guy, too, on top of his technician skill set, I might add. I can say that I proudly placed their magnetic business card on the front of my fridge. They are my go to A/C team from now on.

I have used Kens for new installation, add-ons and repairs for many years. They always show up when they say they will. They explain everything and work with my budget. I am always pleased with the service I receive from everyone in the company. Top notch!!!

I called Ken’s after our less than a year old unit stopped cooling. The tech came out quickly, assessed the unit, and told me we had a bad motherboard. He turned the power off to the unit, said the parts would need to be ordered, and that someone from the office would call me. This was mid-June. The parts came in the next day and a different tech came out to install them. However, he couldn’t get the new motherboard to connect to our unit. He ended up putting the original motherboard back on and only replaced the blower motor. This cost us $298 in labor/freight since parts were covered under warranty. Then, the problem started again. I ended up calling them again because it was August and our AC wasn’t working. The same tech came out as the first time under the agreement that we wouldn’t be charged if it was a previously diagnosed problem. Well, he decided it was the thermostat this time. He replaced the thermostat with one that can be purchased at Lowe’s for around $180, even though we were charged $208 for it. This second trip ended up costing us $333. But get this, the AC issue happened again two days after the thermostat was replaced. My husband called the day it quit working again, explained the issue and what had been done. Oddly enough, they had in their records that they had replaced the motherboard the first time. Anyway, he was told someone would call the next day to arrange to get it fixed. They never called. After we got that second bill, my husband called and questioned them as to why we had been charged two significant amounts when the problem had not been resolved. They offered to come back out and take a look, at our expense, because they have to cover costs. We continued to have the problem with the AC, called someone else, and guess what? It’s the motherboard. We gave Ken’s $631 for absolutely nothing.

Kens Heating and A/C company is excellent! Excellent service, knowledgeable technicians, and kept their word. They installed two new units in our duplex. Came when they said they would and clean up after they left. We will use them again for sure:)

Kens heating and was quick to respond to an AC that stopped blowing cold air. Turns out we needed a whole new system. We were ok with this as we were wanting to upgrade to a more efficient system. They gave us a range of quotes. I ran the problem and prices by my uncle who runs an HVAC company in AZ. He agreed with the diagnosis of the problem and said that a new system would most likely be needed and the quotes were a fair price. They installed a few days later and had us up and cooling in a day. Very happy we went with Kens and a more efficient system. Saving about $100 a month on energy bill now. Trustworthy company and hardworking employees.

Been using Ken’s heating and air for several years for our business and personal house. Every time we have something unexpected happen during summer or winter, Brent sends his crew out asap to get it resolved. We have always been very pleased with there service. We have used them to install new commercial units and for repairs to our existing home unit.

We have always called Brent Johnson for our heating and cooling needs. In January of this year our heater stopped working and we were getting very cold. We called Brent and he had one of his employees to come take a look at our heater it was fixed in about an hour and half. We can always depend on his service to repair our unit. Air are heat. They fixed it and the prices were very reasonable. They were courteous and provided me with additional information about the problem. The temps have been extreme and most of us are running our ACs nonstop. This morning I woke up to standing water under the baseboards of my unit. So, I called after 9 this morning not expecting to get an appt. Brent Johnson, the owner, said the day was booked solid, but hed make a ticket, and if a service guy was in my area, hed try to make it by my house. To my surprise, Josh showed up at 1:15 and finished just after 2. He worked diligently until he finished the job and cleaned up the area, AND the cost was well below what I expected. This is not the first time Ive had AC/heating problems on a Friday. Every time, Kens Heat & Air have worked me into their schedule when it was a busy day for them. Customer service doesnt get any better than that.

This crew is amazing!! Our whole unit went out overnight and the next day I contacted Brent and within the same day we got a brand new unit! They were all very nice and efficient. Definitely recommend and we will be continuing to use Ken’s Heat & Air!

Nice people. My only complaint is that I really needed help right before my warranty was expiring to fix a nagging issue on my condenser and they never got back to me after (3) attempts to reach them.

They didnt send me a bill for almost a month after they come out probably b/c they tack on a monthly surcharge after the 30 day mark. Then overcharged me for the service. Just because it took there technician longer to refill my unit. I guess he can come fiddle around as long as he wants so you can pay extra on your bill for the service cause he didnt accomplish anything else nor fix anything. Wont be using this place again. Seem really money hungry they even charged me extra for paying the bill with a debit card.

Damaged storm door during installation. Pulled shock and anchor from door frame. Came out to look at it. Brandon said they would have it fixed. Three weeks passed still not fixed. Not responding to texts. Use somebody else
