Rafael Cuello handled most of the remediation, helped with the packing and moving process, and handled much of the demolition for our home that had sustained water damage from a sewer backup. Rafael was my main contact for most of that whole process. He was extremely good at communicating with me, providing progress updates and coordinating appointments. He listened very carefully to my requests concerning any special needs related to property security and access and responded appropriately. I hope I never have need for these services again, but if I do, I would like to have someone as conscientious and responsive as Rafael to work with.

We had extensive water damage at our home. I was pleased with SERVPRO of Sugar Land. In such a devastating time for my family and I, workings with SERVPRO of Sugarland was a light in the darkness. Brandon M. the mitigation team manager for my property was EXCEPTIONAL. He went above and beyond, trying to ensure I was informed and had the ability to make sound decisions. He worked with my insurance company and did everything by the books, keeping me informed every step of the way. He showed up for me with an entire team after my insurance company paused the mitigation for 5 days because they wanted to conduct an inspection, 9 days into the water damage claim being filed.On the day of the inspection with the insurance company, Brandon walked with my adjuster, showing him everything that needed to be removed and why. After receiving full approval to continue, Brandon was there working diligently every single day. He continued to keep me informed and communicated with my insurance adjuster regularly. His team conducted 2 foot flood cuts in nearly 5 rooms/areas of my home and took up the continuous flooring through the area as well. They put up necessary coverings, cleaned and made sure the home was dry so we could do our build back.I hope and pray I never have to deal with a loss in my home again, but if I do or hear of anyone going through what I have had to go through, I will 1000% be calling SERVPRO of Sugarland to do the work.

We experienced a water leak in one of our closets late in the evening. The carpet in our closet was soaked, and we could not figure out where the water leak was from since there was no water spots on the ceiling or walls. My husband contacted Servpro, and we received immediate response. The technicians quickly identified and resolved our problem. We were very impressed with their service, and we highly recommend Servpro!

Alexis Gonzales and his crew did a wonderful job in packing us back into our home. I was initially informed that the pack in will take approximately 3 days because there was so much that was packed out, but they finished it in one day! They worked fast, very efficient, and very well organized. We opted for them to unpack and they did not disappoint. Nothing was broken or damaged. They carefully and perfectly put together the dining room, breakfast area, and bedroom furniture. I highly recommend ServPro and hopefully the next customer will get the same experience as we did.

We had a water loss at the commerce green and Servpro of sugar land sent out Erick an amazing supervisor. He communicated very well throughout the whole process and was very attentive to our needs. Erick was able to provide quick and amazing work, I will be using Servpro in the future for any other work.

The house was cleared out and swept on the inside, but I was never swept. I had drywall on my roof and powder all over my entranceway, driveway and back yard. They said they were going to clean it up, but never came back. Its still there. They also cut one of my main wires to the house and did not fix it to code.

It goes without saying that an unexpected flood in one of my most expensive assets, my historic home, is going to be a stressful situation. As soon as my insurance referred me to ServePro, I left the moisture remediation in their hands once I met with my team lead, Kenny. He was responsive and his team was professional, knowledgeable and kind and courteous. Kenny kept me informed of the process, set reasonable expectations and gave me the information I needed as I interviewed contractors to determine scope of work. I am thankful Kenneth and his team were referred to me. Their work was of a high quality. I can’t comment on cost because my insurance company handles that directly with ServePro 🤷🏼‍♀️

I called ServPro of Sugar Land in the middle of the night after Hurricane Beryl hit my home causing wind and water damage. The next morning, Rafael and his crew arrived at my house. Rafael was amazing. He analyzed the damage and made a plan for mitigation. He explained the process to me. Then he and his crew immediately got to work. They were in and out over the next two weeks, always working efficiently and very hard every minute they were here. He was an effective communicator every step of the way. Rafael demonstrated extensive knowledge while also showing compassion for my losses. Thank you Rafael.

Do not use...this is your Big red flag! They dragged us along and did very little. They were suppose to call each time before they came and they didnt. My Insurance recommend them which Ill be sending them a letter letting them know exactly how things were not handled at all and they basically were dragging their feet so much that an employee had to tell me to use someone else and my adjuster. I asked to speak to the managers several times (Greg & Tony) and neither would give me a call or an estimate on tear out. I only got a call from Tony once I fired them and then hes trying to tell me what I needed done at my house when basically put out fans and I found out in that call that some tear out was done which no one had told me about. They initially said drying out is 3-5 days but went on for well over and canceled a couple of times after that because a school got flooded and everyone was moved to that and dragged their feet SO much that the hurricane hit in the meantime, it should have been done well before. Then comes the big bill to my Insurance company for fans! I hired another company that did the tear out and drying and done in less than a week and for less. Do not use!

The demolition crew was wonderful. They always responded promptly and were able to get all of the damaged areas out quickly. The only part of the experience that should have been better was the communication concerning the different division and the hand off of repair responsibilities. Apparently- the construction division is separate and I had to call the construction manager to arrange a consultation. I’ve called him and the main office no less than 4 times trying to make an appointment - and he has NEVER called me back. So I’m stuck with a completely gutted primary bedroom and many walls throughout my house with sheetrock torn out- and scrambling to try and find another contractor to fix everything. It would have been much easier to have ServePro complete the project from start to finish, but seems like they aren’t interested in the business.

After hurricane Beryl, I was left with a large pecan tree in my roof, and damage to the second floor ceiling and carpet. I reached out to SERVPRO quickly to get on the list because I knew many people in the area had damage from the storm. RJ got a team out the very next day and Brendan was my primary contact. His professionalism was top-notch. He explained every step with patience and consideration. He and his team were very careful to remove only what was necessary to prevent further damage. When I had to reach out multiple times because of continued leaking, Brendan and his crew did a spectacular job making time to come back quickly to remove affected materials. I want to compliment SERVPRO on making this whole process so much easier and as painless as possible! Thank you! I would highly recommend Brendan, and SERVPRO if you experience residential water damage.

**Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience**I recently had a very disappointing experience with SERVPRO Sugar Land. Their poor communication and unresponsiveness were evident from the start, and it only got worse. They left nails sticking out of wood and scattered across the floor, creating a hazardous environment. Their workers sat on my patio and left masks, trash, and other debris both inside my home and outside on the patio.To make matters worse, they overcharged for their services. My insurance company had to step in and fight to have the additional charges removed. Their unprofessionalism was astounding, and they even held onto my belongings for an additional month without any valid reason. Once my items were returned, some were broken and smelled of mildew. They had held onto my belongings since January 2024, and I didnt get them back until the end of May 2024.They only handled mitigation and deconstruction. Due to my negative experience, I refused to let them complete the restoration phase.I would not recommend SERVPRO Sugar Land to anyone. Their lack of professionalism and the poor quality of their work were completely unacceptable. Avoid this company if you want a smooth and hassle-free restoration experience.

On the weekend 5/19/2024 I faced a crisis with my water heater leaking located in the attic, it affected my entire home and I had standing water in my first floor. Thankfully Servpro sent Brandon and Erick to help and they got to working as soon as they got there. Brandon has been very communicative during the whole process and clears up all my concerns. If you ever go through a water loss I would definitely recommend Servpro, they do an amazing job!

We were hit by the May 16 derecho in Houston, TX and I know the entire process is fluid and overwhelming. Daniela, RJ and their packing/ moving team were professional and handled all our items with care. They answered all our questions happily. Itll take them about 4 business days to complete this process then come back to demo our home after our general contractor completes the roof repair. The communication has been on point and even though theyre through our insurance and we pray we dont have to use them in the future if you do need similar thorough services then theyre the people to call.

I started talking with SERVPRO on 06/24/24 and signed the contract for mitigation on 06/27/24. Jesus Bastardo of SERVPRO seems to be a professional person and also helpful. He explained what could happen in the mitigation phase and answered our questions. It is a long way to complete the project and will complete it satisfactorily.

The crew that came to my home are always very professional and courteous. The only problem I had with Servpro was with the office personnel! I called the office on different occasions and was told the manage in the office for the restoration would call me back he never did! I had to be the one to call him back, and on a different occasion I even spoke to him on the phone, he even told me that he will call me back before the end of the day to let me know if the crew will be here the next day are the day after with the floor remover machine he never called back. The next day the crew showed up and they were informed by their manager the floor remover machine would be delivered. Its not the clients responsibility to all was call to find out the status on the restoration Servpro should be calling the client, not the client calling SERVPRO! The office manages needs to learn customer service and how to manage!If the office manage knew customer service and how to manage they would have five stars not three stars.

RJ and his team were a pleasure working with. All were communicative, knowledgeable and helpful. Will be recommending them to family and friends.

First the positive. My rebuild contractor, Terry, was very involved and I truly do think he was doing his best to make by house a quality rebuild- which it was.However, from the start, ServPro moved at an extremely slow pace. Evidently they claim they are understaffed and their time frame doubled. Not only that, but every time they needed something from me, it was needed in the next hour or two while they were on a different time frame than me.While I did everything on my end to expedite the process, they were not as eager. I am still waiting on them to deliver my furniture. I was told this can take a month or two after the rebuild.Bottom line, during a time like this, you need efficiency, which this ServPro will not provide. Also, the best thing a company can do for you during a time like this is work to take things off your plate instead of stacking them on. Working with this ServPro will take an emotional toll on you way past what you have already gone through. ONE STAR.

Stay far away…like it never happened is their motto but wish we never called us ours. filing a complaint with insurance as well as their corporate office at how bad this place is. They dropped off over 500 boxes today to my in laws and told them to unpack them themselves…broke a window they refuse to fix and tons of other issues to include lying to us that they were on the insurance program. Did a walkthrough with their construction manager and their contractor because they do not do construction in house so just a way for them to mark stuff up and scam more… but then the construction manager quit and we heard nothing from company for weeks, after seeing how they operate I don’t blame the guy for getting far away. Then they tell us to use the contractor THAT THEY BROUGHT IN and said he was great…turns out he was horrible and failed a home inspection on work he did. They then said that’s a third party and not on us because we’ll their a really really bad business. This place is a scam and will take every action we can against this horrible business. The fact they would drop off so many boxes in the home of an elderly couple and say good luck after lying on sign up that they would put everything back exactly how it was is the final straw on a horrible transaction…but hey they made tens of thousands of dollars taking advantage so I guess we are the fools…then they post a response that is just lies… also window they broke is still broken… if they are willing to lie to an adjuster they will definitely lie to you as a customer

We had a small leak behind a wall leaking from the shower pipes but it led to big problems since it was hidden. Our team cleaned up and cleaned out all of the mold and mildew. Removing all the problem areas promptly and completely and they also ran important dehumidifiers and sprayed with the proper chemicals to ensure no future problems from this existing event. We were completely impressed with their professionalism and communication.

They have helped us with our building that recently experienced a large loss due to a sprinkler malfunction. Very poor business practices. I had water damage in one room of my home, and my insurance carrier recommended I use ServPro of Sugarland. They offered to pack up my bed room and move to storage, but I told them it was only necessary to take the bed and a dresser. Once the room was repaired they brought the bed and dresser back to me. The entire process took no more then 2 hours total. But I was shocked when I got an itemized bill from them for $4,020.19. When I called Servpro and told them that the bill was excessive, and that it did not take 4 hours as they stated on the invoice to pack up a king size bed and a dresser, they told me to pay it or face a property lien on my home. I think it is very shady that they added in additional work hours that they did not work to pad the invoice. I would never use Servpro again and would never recommend them to any of my friends or family.

On Saturday we scheduled a meeting with Servpro in Sugar Land, TX for evaluation and quote for a biohazard situation, death. I live in Dallas and made a several hours trip to be there at 12:00noon for our appointment. At 11:30 I called Servpro to confirm and was told no one would be available to provide the evaluation. No call from Servpro. Tuesday AM a Servpro worker showed up and performed the evaluation and I was told that they would have a quote to me by early afternoon. No quote at 2:00 or at 4:00 when I contacted Servpro to follow up I was told they were busy with a more important job and my quote was delayed until Wednesday! Call Servpro Wednesday and was told I would have a quote by days end…..no quote on Wednesday! Again busy and forgot about our quote.Finally on Thursday we received the quote that we had waited for four days late. And the quote was astonishingly HIGH!!! Almost 5 digits!!!!! And Servpro still wasn’t able to tell us when the job could be performed.To me it was a slap in the face based on losing our loved one, lack of urgency for the cleanup, lack of compassion and the overall lack of professionalism that was exhibited by the Servpro in house staff. Management needs to made aware of this situation and corrections made immediately.I would not in clear conscience recommend Servpro as a go to company like the local police department did for us. Completely and utterly unexceptable

Update: I did attempt to call and negotiate a fair price, but the review stands as is. You have my number. If you are sincere about the stated response, you may call me.I give it 2 stars because of the billing practice. They did a good job, except for the cutting off the drywall, which they charged for. I repaired it myself with a lot of patching. I had to straighten out the cut they made. That is not a big deal.What made me unhappy was the charge for the service. they estimated the $750 for 1 hour of work, using a dehumidifier and two fans, checking on it twice for 10 minutes and picking it up over 3 days. That seems a bit high for a Saturday at noon. My bill was not $940. I tried to negotiate this, but they would not budge. I paid cash, and did not file an insurance claim.As you see their response below, it is untrue. I already tried to discuss this with them. They have my phone number, and they still wanted the maximum dollars, not what is reasonable.

The General Manager Andrew, was a great help throughout the process of my home repair! Very professional, and the team was timely. I would definitely use them again if I ever need water repair.

Ive changed my stars to one star. My insurance company hired them, I had nothing to do with it. But one month later Servpro calls wanting $200. For my part. I didnt let them continue with their lie . They must be desperate for money.They cut a hole in my floor and threw the Wood away. It was vintage and not replaceable. It was young guys that didnt know what they were doing. Just to stick their head in the hole thats all they did. A hole big enough for a man to crawl into.

Servpro of Sugar Land exceeded my expectations when it came to handling my recent water damage. They were very communicative, responsive, and efficient. The crew was also neat and clean when it came to mitigation. I’d definitely use them again if the need arises.

Service was OK. The frustrating part was the ripoff in the end. They charged $500 for some additional equipment which we never asked for. Pure illogical basis of charge.. we went back forth but apparently if we didn’t pay they can put a dent on our house deed or something. Some contract they make you sign.So rule #1 before you sign with them .. be very clear on paper work, and read.Good bye 500 extra $ on an already pricey work… a decent vendor to work with up until this surprise came in the end 😤

All the staff were very happy and like their job and each other’s company to work with. Very easy to work with! Stayed on schedule and always called me to keep me in the loop of what was scheduled for the day. I would recommend them and use them again in case of another unfortunate incident.

Mark Hart and his team saved our buildings after disaster freeze Feb2021! Well resourced and knowledgeable in every aspect of our needs. My first call was my best call in contacting ServPro Sugar Land.

Had water damage to our ceilings from the AC drip pan overflowing in the attic. The team came in quickly cleaned out all the wet insulation and drywall and taped it back up until the contractor could come and repair it.

When part of my home flooded I thought there was no way it would look normal again. Servpro out did themselves!!! Showed up on time and did a wonderful job! I highly recommend using them for any damage clean up or repair!

First of all the crew consisting of two people showed up 2 hours late. Then on top of it, they did not have the right equipment to clean up the water from the bedroom. They were both very tired and were coming from another job. Then Servpro charged us after-hour rate (because they barely came right before 8:00 AM).This is how big companies deal and fool people who are in need.

EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH SERVICE/CAN’T RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!! On Monday January 22, I called ServPro-Sugar Land because “contaminated water” from downstairs restroom has overflown my first floor. Ali Hussein, project manager came and measured the damage. Due to the obvious unsanitary conditions underneath my wood floor, I asked Ali I needed the estimate as soon as possible. One week has gone by and I haven’t heard from him. I called and left the message three times during the week. No one returned my call. I wanted to try Ali’s cell number listed on his business card, when I realized the number has been crossed out. I can’t imagine a business in todays emergency service market without a valid cell number on their business card. I even emailed him the emergency situation. Today is Wednesday, January 31st and I have NO RESPONSE YET.

I cannot express my gratitude to Servpro Sugarland enough. I had a huge mishap with a water spill and they literally SAVED the day! They pay attention to details and follow up to ensure the best quality of their work. Thank Servpro for your amazing customer service.

I sadly had a minor fire occur in my two story house. The project managers came out and explained to me what would be done. (They were very polite and friendly and answered all of my questions) a group of 4 ladies came out for 2 days and worked their tails off, cleaning both stories of my house top to bottom. Constantly asking me if I was pleased with the job. I have NEVER seen or smelled a house so clean! I am beyond thankful for their hard work, especially while dealing with the emotional stess from the fire. Thank you Servpro!!!!
