They texted me when it was time for my fall inspection. I called to make the appointment for the next day. Tech called with 30 minutes notice, arrived on time and did the inspection. No attempt to upsell me anything, which I appreciate. Ran payment on his phone, could not have been easier.I’ve been with Maxx for many years and hope to be for many more.Edit: Two more inspections since then, with no scheduling problems and still no upselling.

I have known the owner for a while and I had also heard a lot of great things about Maxx AC & Heating. I spoke to Ric yesterday afternoon looking to get some service later this week. Within the hour they had an opening & scheduled their technician, Allen to come to my business. He was friendly & provided great service. Allen was quick to determine the problem and to quote a fair price for replacing a motor on my unit. We were up and going in about an hour. We are very pleased. I highly recommend Maxx AC & Heating for your AC & Heating needs.

Have used Maxx AC for years & their service from the office staff, technicians to the owners is always courteous, kind, friendly, & professional. They know what they are doing & easily resolve any problems we have. Allen ,our main technician, is friendly, kind, always explains what needs to be done along with costs. After waiting over 48 hrs for a different company and sitting in the house at 90° with long hair dogs, I made a desperation call just to see and they went out of their way to make sure they got to us the same day (literally within 30 minutes of calling)! He was fast, informative, showed me the problem and how to fix it next time! I will definitely be recommending this company to anyone as well as making them my go-to for any ac emergencies!

I’ve used them for 8 years. The NEW owners are great. They fixed a long time standing problem ( at cost to them) that was from the previous owners. They worked well with me to help fix this problem. We had AC issues with both of our units on a Sunday. We have used Maxx AC several times in the past, called and left a message and got a call back within 30 minutes. Our AC was fixed very quickly! Always responsive, quick to respond, friendly, and honest. Highly recommend!!

Great experience. We were in a bind with our AC unit not working last Saturday morning when it was forecasted to be 96 degrees that afternoon Ric answered my phone call at 9am and his technician was at our house before noon. The repair was completed within 45 minutes and our house was nice and cool shortly thereafter. I can’t say enough good things about Maxx’s customer service.

I called Saturday evening for help with AC unit that wasn’t fully cooling on 100F day and the owner Ric responded quickly to my request. Service tech Shaun came the next day (Sunday) and fixed the problem, checked for other issues and gave us several helpful tips on maintenance. Overall very pleased.

If I could give 0 star rating, I would! This company installed my AC unit in 2021 and failed to reseal the ducting, moving forward 2 years later and my brand new build is now developing mold. I initially signed up for routine maintenance through the company, but was never placed in the system. I’ve sent several emails including pictures and videos, and have made countless attempts for over a month to speak with one of the owners. I have yet to hear back from anyone. Granted, I know the warranty expired a few months ago, but at least call out of concern and offer to complete an inspection.

Heater wasn’t working, called and they had someone out within the hour. Quick fix and the tech that came out was extremely nice!! Haven’t had a bad experience with Maxx A/C ever and will continue to use them in the future!

Allen was incredibly informative about his diagnostic process in maintaining our AC. He explained what he was seeing and what the options were in a way that made sense and was complete to the point where I feel very comfortable in assessing our options as we look to upgrade a system that could be nearing the end of its days. Allen explained the cost of maintaining our current system and options ranging all the way to the right way (which was not the most expensive way). I need to do some price shopping, so I cannot speak to the cost, but even if I found it was a bit higher than most the professionalism exhibited and information provided by Allen would be worth paying a bit of a premium.

Allen came out after hours masked up, friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to solve the issue. The repairs were quick, efficient, and very welcome. I felt safe with Alex in the home, and my pups really appreciated the A/C when it kicked back on. I felt he was financially honest with me and The whole experience was just appreciated. Called Maxx A/C again for routine maintenance. Allen was here again and he is just personable, quick, and upfront. He is a true asset to the business.

I have used Max AC &Heating for work on our house, and all three of the business buildings I own for the past three years. They are knowledgeable and honestly they are the only company I trust in the AC and heating sector. I would highly recommend them.

Update: There was an issue with my HVAC system caused by a third party on Thursday. This company made it a priority to come out to try and help me with my issue on Friday. They received payment from the aforementioned third party before even coming out to my home. Upon realizing that it wasn’t an easy fix and they would need to send someone back to assess the situation and continue the work, they decided that Friday was a one time courtesy and that I would need to pay them myself out of pocket. They refused to take payment from a third party although there had been no problem or issue with payment when they came on Friday. I feel as though they left me high and dry. Now I am back at square one trying to look for another company. At this point, today is Tuesday and my air conditioner has been out of commission for 5 days in Texas heat. This company set me back by wasting valuable time that could have used working with a different company.

After originally trying a previous business (who I believe was trying to overcharge me), I decided to try Maxx and I couldnt be happier. From Ms. Sharon to Henry the technician, the entire staff was very helpful. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a/c done right and trying to overcharge you

The technician, Julio, was very polite, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He thoroughly checked our unit that stopped running and had it back up and running quickly after replacing a failed part. Maxx Air responded quickly to my call, that I made at 4:30 p.m., after returning home and finding the house downstairs at 84°! Two hours later the unit was repaired and the downstairs was cooling nicely!! Max Air is responsive and does good work. I recommend them highly.

I have used them over the years in my commercial space for my business. The have always been attentive to get out quickly to service my HVAC system when its needed a repair or check up. We cant afford to have the AC down in this south Texas heat, so they always get us back up running and cool! Thank you!

Allen did an outstanding job diagnosing and fixing a loud gurgle coming from my furnace. I originally hired another company and they were stumped. Allen diagnosed it within 5 minutes. Quality work & reasonable pricing, Very pleased and will use these guys again.

Alan and his trainee did a great job on the maintenance. I showed him some water drip from before. He diagnosed and fixed the issue right away.Also Maxx AC is a veteran owned business. I salute the veterans and always want to give my business to them.

Bought a new home through lennar had ac issues from month two of ownership. Contacted customer care and Maxx AC is the one who installed and warranty the AC unit. Unit has an issue with excessive sweating, which had caused mold and all sorts of problems. They have been to my house over 6 times with the last two years trying to fix the issue but instead just kicked the can down the road until my warranty is up. Now they say it’s my problem and I’m stuck with this issue due to their poor quality and work. Can’t get any answers or help. Please do not use this company for your home ac needs!! Also on a side note the thermostats were wired backwards as well found this out after day one of ownership. The upstairs thermostat controlled downstairs and vise versa. Stay away from these guys!!!! Terrible experience!!

Maxx AC and heating was sent to us through Lennar because our AC went out and it is still under warranty. Fred came out and said our zone board was out and we needed a new thermostat. He stated that we could still remain in the home because he was bypassing the zone board and the house would still cool off we just needed to wait a few hours. After more than 12hrs the house was not cooling off in fact it was getting hotter. I called Maxx Ac back the next morning and asked for a manager. Someone that stated she was a manager called us back but she gave nothing but excuses and offered us a fan. This lady put me on hold and the next person I got said that the call was transferred to her and she wasnt sure why. She also told us that the original person we were talking to was not a manager, she was in fact a dispatcher. The new lady we were talking to assured me someone would be at our home today 07.14.2023 between 1-5pm and it is now 9:04pm and no one has come to my home. This has been very inconveniencing and I cant believe Lennar is doing business with a company that lacks integrity. I hope I NEVER have to deal with this company again.

My thermostat wasnt reaching the set temperature, and heating was erratic. Maxx AC & Heating sent out a tech within a day, and even though they didnt fix it the first day, they sent out another tech when I contacted them. The second tech was able to quickly find the issue and rectify it, and now my heater is working again. I appreciate the quick and responsive service!

He was great! He understood what I told him, got his boss on the phone to relay that message and they had the other guys out here to fix it within hours. Kudos!!!

Maxx AC replaced the downstairs unit in 2019 and when the upstairs went out I wouldn’t have called anybody else! This Veteran owned business takes care of you! Shaun was at my door on time, gave me options and didn’t pressure. Installed the next day and done professionally.

My downstairs a/c decided to put itself in a very long timeout, and turned off. After our usual tricks to get it back on didn’t work, I reached out to my neighbors and asked if anyone recommended a good a/c company. Maxx A/C got nothing but glowing reviews and was tagged by someone in the neighborhood. They immediately reached out to me and told me to call bright and early ( a/c went out at about 8 at night) and they would get someone out soon. Now that’s excellent business. The guy who came out was the sweetest and took care of my problem in no time. I give this company 5 stars!

Maxx AC & Heating is the only service company we will use. For the past two years, our service guy has been Brian. Hes good and he explains everything. Yesterday, our AC went out. My daughter-n-law is 7 months pregnant with a difficult pregnancy and my wife is recovering from surgery. The inside of our house hit 82 degrees. Brian shows up the day we called and gets us up and running. Youd think that would have to pay exorbitant prices for this level of service. You dont. Its a fair price and weve always gotten more than we paid for.

Maxx A/C is always extremely responsive and quick to help. They were able to help me replace an A/C unit that went out right after I bought my house, and helped me find the most efficient and effective solution. Since then, I’ve also had them out to replace my thermostat systems as well for something much more efficient. I would highly recommend Maxx A/C and will continue to rely on them in the future.

Had a clogged A/C drain. Called after hours on Sunday and received a call back first thing Monday morning. Was able to set an appointment window for the same day. This company is who my builder used for our heating/cooling services which I must say was a great choice. If I ever have an issues I just call the office and the lady who answer is always helpful and nice. They arrive when they say they are and get the job done. Kudos to you Maax AC you guys rock!!

A/c service tech failed to adjust vent dampers properly, therefore a bedroom is 3-4 degrees warmer than other areas of home. Also noticed vent ducts in attic are bypassed to other rooms on several runs therefore, restricting air flow to other rooms due to poor installation. From my point of view as the customer ,workmanship is not satisfactory. Spoke with company manager and he didnt seem to concerned about temperature differences. Would not recommend this company to friends or family members.

I am on a preventive maintenance program with them. I am very happy with the way they are keeping up with my home system.They are very expert and the office is very well run.

The response by Maxx AC & Heating to my initial request by email on a Sunday was almost instantaneous by Ric Davis. A technician was sent out the next Tuesday morning. Allen was very professional and efficient. He diagnosed the problem (as suspected) that the fan motor was burned out on our secondary A/C unit for our Sun Room addition, looked up my warranty, and ordered a free replacement motor from Carrier, which should arrive in 2 days. His diligence with my 10 year warranty will save me over $500. He also checked the coolant levels in our main unit A/C as a bonus for this initial service call.

Fantastic service, the technician was so professional and knowledgeable even offered a couple of things that we could be doing, that don’t cost anything, to preserve the life of our AC unit! I highly recommend!

Spoke to them at 9am and technician (Allen) was here before 11am. Turned out to be a blown capacitor. Fixed and cooling in 15 minutes. Did a quick check of the rest of the system and washed down the coil. Incredibly positive experience! They have earned my trust!

Outstanding customer service! My AC quit working in 95 degree 100% humidity weather. I called Maxx at 8am and by 1:30 the technician was at my house (within the promised timeline window!) . In 45 minutes he had identified and fixed the problem. I would highly recommend Maxx AC. Very few companies offer such phenomenal customer service anymore.

I selected Maxx to replace my HVAC (Dec. 2019) for three main reasons: (1) a friend referred me, (2) they offer a premium brand (Carrier), and (3) we were able to work out an agreeable, off-season price, in advance. Maxx arrived on time to all their appointments. I was especially pleased with the crew they subcontracted to put in the larger system components (AC, furnace, coil) on the first day of the install. The owner, Ric, was good about staying in contact with the workers throughout the process on each appointment. The new Carrier system is great, and I feel confident that the work was done right.

We called after hours yesterday and Josh walked us through a reboot which got us through the night with AC. Then Allen came and made the repairs this morning, all was done in less than half and hour. I really appreciate the email notification explaining who the tech is, with his picture, and when the tech is on route to our location. Maxx installed a new variable speed A/C system in our two story home in April 2018. With two thermostats it works well to set upstairs temperature different from downstairs. The crew were polite and professional and finished the work in one long day. They returned to make adjustments when requested.Maxx has been servicing our HVAC needs for over twenty years. I had a great experience with this company. I have friends who do commercial ac and they told me all the bad things that companies try to do to make money of the customer. Not these guys. They came out on time and did exactly what they said they were going to do. They never tried to sell me a new unit or replace parts that did not need replacing. These guys went above and beyond their means to make sure my house and my wallet stayed cool. I will never use any one else but Max ac and I would recommend them to anyone. Maxx AC was extremely responsive to our weekend call and provided us with multiple options to fix our issue. We decided to install a completely new unit and the installtion team was thourough and efficient.

We called Maxx A/C when we were out of town, and our house sitter informed us that when she came to the house, it was 90 degrees. We have two older pets and knew that they couldn’t handle another day like that. We called Rick at Maxx A/C at 8pm in the evening, and he had someone out by 7:30am the next morning working with our house sitter to figure out the problem. The technician fixed the problem, and we returned home to a cool house and happy pets. They were definitely there for us!

Our unit is old and has been hit or miss lately and I thought it was time for a replacement, but looks like we can get a few more years out of it after Allen helped us figure out our issue today. After he made a few repairs, our unit has not shut off anymore and is running smoothly.

Weve owned our house for six years and have never had good A/C comfort despite relatively new units . . . until I found Maxx A/C and Heating. After spending significant time studying the duct set-up and rebalancing air flow, it feels like a new home. Good service, good people. Give them a try in Houston.

I always get the help I need. Their technicians are always well educated, professional and knowledgeable. They are good at finding the root problem and providing solutions. These guys are not auto-mechanics - they will not try to sell you things you dont need

Will never use Maxx Air and Heat ever again. They installed new system in new construction and the TXV has already clogged. Of course its just months out of warranty. They quoted $1200 to fix it. Sent a written quote...over $600 of it was the TXV. That TXV is $120 bucks local and online. Two other techs agreed it was the TXV but both said the only way its clogged only two years old is that the system wasnt properly evacuated at install. Basically they just purged the system but did not evacuate the system. They obviously just trying to hit home runs on charges. I had the valve replaced for $450.... but did have to pay Maxx Air bill of over $200 just to check out their poor work to begin with. REPLY: This isnt the only issue with Maxx Air and Heat. Original system design was incorrect and was still under warranty and Maxx Air did nothing to rectify the situation. Wanted to charge more to fix a design issue they created. It was quoted high as well. You can compare prices all day long but the quality of the service has to be there to justify higher cost and Maxx is not on par with reputable competitors. This NEW install has had nothing but problems. They do not back their product. They dont try to remedy the situation...dont even check to see if parts are still covered by warranty. Been in the construction business for over 30 years and by far Maxx AC & Heating is the worst subcontractor I have ever dealt with. Reply to owner: Not about price...its about you installing a brand new system that has nothing but problems and not backing your work. Price is the fact you want more money to fix what you didnt do correctly to begin with.

Research before employing this company. I experienced open and non-caring dishonesty. A slam-bam-thank-you-mam attitude with no regard for customer service or satisfaction. If this companys representative had not been hired by my builder, I would have run them off the job site. I will not let them service the units they installed in the future, as I would not trust anything they said or did.

Stay away from these people! They are a bunch of highway robbers! They charged $96 for service call. They wanted $1,075 to replace a circuit board on my AC system. My AC is by Goodman/not top of the line system!. I contacted another AC company, they charged $69 for service call and less than $400 to replace the circuit board. I dont have problem with businesses making money. I do have problem when they try to rob you! Mr. Owner, that is not how I would run my business. People, stay away from these people.

The owner Kenny is a rip off artist!!!! Stay away!!!! My husband was working for him on a new jon and Kenny decided he wanted it done faster so brought in a new crew. Its been 2 weeks and called because we didnt get his check and the guy said he isnt going to pay him for the 2 FULL days work he did! His reason being was because he decided to bring in a different (larger) crew and because he had to clean the driveway because my husband parked his truck there.......

My AC went out in July, and it was 85 degrees in my house at 7 pm in the evening. There was a tech at my door at 9 pm at night and he stayed and fixed my AC despite it being so late. I was very grateful they went above and beyond to help me.

Maxx A/C put in a new system in 2017 they’ve come for maintenance and they’ve done repairs and they’ve done warranty work and they are top shelf in my book you can’t beat Maxx A/CAnytime you need a referral your future customers can call me 🤙🇺🇸
