Guys we’re fast and efficient…had my parts ready to go…always go above and beyond of their regular duties…super nice also👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻I’m adding to this review and it has nothing to do with any employees at the front counter….on 9-28-2024 I came in and purchased a mobile home airhandler and the matching uncased evaporator coil, a total of $1331.79 was spent…we found out the homeowner had 2 remaining years of warranty on the existing evaporator coil…I brought back the purchased uncased evap coil, still in the box and completely unopened…due to supposed store policy they could only offer me a credit even though I paid with a company credit card, wouldn’t it be just as easy to refund the amount back to the card, it’s not like cash was paid…I do have an account with transtar…I was forced to purchase tools and other misc items to equal to over $500.00 worth of stuff…I could even understand charging a 15% restocking fee….i know I’m just one contractor and my business probably doesn’t matter to the owners of this business but I will never purchase anything from transtar anymore…I just left out of store and I’m sitting in the parking lot giving this edited review…I don’t know of any supply house that operates in this way except for electrical parts…VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

This place is absolutely worst. I was planning to do some work on AC. I purchased a capacitor from this place. When I opened to replace the capacitor on preventive basis, it was wrong size. It was supposed to be 60/7.5 and I bought 45/7.5. When I asked to return it, the staff refused to return it. They stated that its no return. I was not told about no return policy when I bought it last Saturday. Absolutely scam place and cant be trusted to do business with.When I told them that I wasnt told about no return and I didnt even open the package, they guy said they should have told you. Like what the heck, why do I need to pay for your staffs mistake.So if you buy something and its wrong size or doesnt work, you will have to pay for it again. Buyers beware.

On a hot summer day my AC capacitor gave up. Online store sold for $16 a piece. Not willing to wait for delivery, I went to this store. Their price was $48 a piece, 3x as online price. I was also told that once I take it out of the store, there would be absolutely no refund and no exchange. Not impressed by neither the price nor the return policy, I walked away from this store. I bought my capacitor from another local store for $23 a piece.

Absolutely I will never come here again. Customer service was very bad. Prices are so high. I am a hvac contractor coming for a run capacitor which they charged over $16 while it costs about half of it at somewhere else. I said I am a contractor that I should have the contractor price. They said that is the price for contractor. Bull….*#!?

Can I enter a negative star? I stopped in Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at noon, requesting assistance in getting a filter for a Honeywell dehumidifier. The only thing the guy at the front desk ever said to me was No. I showed him pictures of my unit and asked him if he could tell me if it was a dehumidifier - No. I asked if he carried dehumidifier filters - No. I asked if he could tell me anything - No. I asked if anyone there could help me - No.Due to this experience, I cannot recommend this placed at all.

This is the only A/C supply company in the area that is not accepting returns, because of Covid-19. I purchased tools there yesterday, and found out I did not need them for school at TSTC. ONLY ONE DAY AGO AND I COULD NOT MAKE A RETURN! I reccomend going to other A/C supply stores not just for tools, but anything else! BAD BUSINESS!

No price tag, look like charges depend on customer, just simple capacitor they charged me $30 with normal cost is around $20 bucks or less. Comparatively expensive.

Been going here for years.These guys are top notch. They answer questions you have. Since Im not an A/C tech, I appreciate that theyll sell me the parts I need for simple repairs to get up and running.

Big Spanish speaking guy came in clutch today, even got popcorn and a cold water, definitely coming back!

Rarely do you find great customer service like this anymore and I couldnt find my part.

Excellent
