Jonathan, was great. Showed up on time, very polite, diagnosed problem quickly, even went to north houston to complete the repair. Fantastic customer service. Oh I forgot to mention that we are expecting a freeze tomorrow! Jim thanks again.

I recently replaced 1st and 2nd floor AC units with Sun Air Conditioning. The owner Jim, engineering lead Rusty, and their crew went above and beyond in providing great service. Everything was done quickly, professionally, and with a lot of visibility and background information provided: recommendations, calculations, pictures, and more. I will continue using their service for the ongoing maintenance.

About a month ago, my air conditioning unit completely broke down. I was really stressed and unsure of what to do next. A friend recommended Sun Air Conditioning & Heating, so I decided to give them a call. Laura was incredibly helpful and friendly. She arranged for a technician to come to my house right away to assess the situation. They quickly ordered a new unit and had my home up and running again in just a few days. The Texas heat can be intense, but I’m so thankful for the assistance I received.

Eric with Sun A/C has been to our house twice. The first was for an equipment checkup and this weekend for an emergency. Both times, Eric has been polite, prompt and very professional. He is very knowledgeable and has gone above and beyond for us. Eric is definitely an asset to Sun.

I am 83 years old and am a widow. I have been a customer at Sun Air and heating for many years. Sun is a family business and I feel like I am a part of the family. They have taken very good care of me and have made sure when I have lost air in the heat that I am taken care of. They are not only caring, but are honest, reasonably priced and dependable. Everyone that has been to my home has been polite and respectful. Ashton went out of his way last week to make sure I was comfortable. They know the air conditioning business and deliver great service.

My AC unit stopped cooling, I called Sun Air today around 11am they were able to send a service technician to arrive same day between 4-6pm.. The 2 technicians Bryce and Jordan worked really hard to get my 18yr old unit up and running, unfortunately it was time to have a new unit installed. They were very honest and hardworking. I am on the schedule for 1st thing Monday morning... 10 out of 10, highly recommend!!

Called Sun Air Conditioning today, Sunday, at 7:45am, to report an issue with our air conditioning unit. Our Comfort Specialist, Jonathan, came out to our home to diagnose the issue. Technician (Jay) just completed my bi-annual system checkup which is part of being a Sun Club member. He was very prompt, courteous, and professional. He did a very thorough system check and found a bad transformer which I authorized him to replace. Well worth the cost to have the system checked and maintained than to wait for a breakdown.

AC stopped working at 9pm last Tuesday. Next morning at 10 the Sun technician arrived and diagnosed a leaking coil. The following day a new coil was installed under manufacturers warranty. Only had to pay a very fair cost for Suns labor. Excellent service.

My a/c went out this weekend. I called first thing Monday morning and Sun a/c and heating sent out rep. within 1 hour. The service rep was Jonathan and he came early, checked a few readings and fixed my a/c issue within 15 minutes. He was great and friendly. Thanks so much!!

I was very impressed with this family owned company, from the initial service call on a sunday to the installation the next morning of new condensing unit & air handler. Jay was personable, professional and knowledgeable. I explained what happened and he listened. I told him what another technician from a different company,who inspected our system said we should replace or add onto the HCAV unit.Jay took care of the problem. Checked the parts that the other company technician recommended be addressed. Jay said everything was good and since I hadnt had any problems it was not necessary to change things.I feel that Jay was honest in his assessment , saving me alot of money.

Jonathan was great and taught me things I didn’t know today! We had an overflowing pan on one of our aircon units and didn’t have an a company we knew about since just moving in. Jonathan installed two Micro Air FLEX soft starts quickly and walked me through the app for monitoring. Noticeable reduction in starting amps already and more to come after it learns the system.

It is true that Sun A/C & Heating Services is famous for integrity, dedication and customer satisfaction as I experienced all this today when Jonathan performed A/C & Heating tune-up work for me. Im so satisfied with his work. He is an outstanding technician at SUN. Jonathan is knowledgeable, professional and put his effort and interest in work to repair/fix it as perfect as he could. He replaced all capacitors, thoroughly checked the heater exchanger and ensured wires are tight enough and washed the condenser unit from outside. He double checked his work before he checked A/C unit and the Heater to test everything is properly working. I would definitely recommend SUN. I would love to have Jonathan again for Tune-up or any other A/C or Heating related work if I needed to. Thanks Jonathan!

My AC broke down late one afternoon and I called Sun Air. The next morning, they called back and scheduled a service for that day. Eric showed up at my home. As he walked inside, the power in my home went out. In spite of this hiccup, Eric looked at my unit, found the problem, and fixed my AC. He was very professional and so knowledgable, that when my power came back, the AC started working. He had fixed the problem! Thank you Eric for your expertise and your professionalism. Just had Jonathan Jaquez out to do my winter check-up and I have no idea why any one would use any HVAC other than Sun. I was completely impressed with his professionalism and customer service. I put a call in to see what was wrong with my thermostat and Rusty called me back shortly thereafter and said he would stop and take a look. He fixed the A/C and we are staying cool tonight. After dealing with another company and their technician, we fortunately found Sun AC & Heating. Laura was very helpful making the initial appointment. Jay - our technician, showed up early and was very professional and patient listening to our explanation of the AC issue. He promptly ordered the parts we needed and Laura got us scheduled again for installation. Once again Jay showed up early with parts in hand. It took all of 22 minutes and our unit is finally working correctly for the first time. The previous company said it would be a 2 person job and made us feel like the house would have to be torn down to install the same parts. Huge thank you to Sun AC!

The technician was an hour late but he made it to my house on the day I called and in the first week when the temperatures have hit 100+ consistently (not to mention the flat tire he had to get fixed). Even better, he got the unit back up and running! I don’t know where Jim finds his technicians but I couldn’t be happier. Richard serviced us for over 25 years. He finally retired and Sergio came out today and picked up right where Richard left off! If you are looking for an HVAC company for your home, give Sun A/C a call. Jay came out at short notice for an AC issue (AC blowing warm air). He was in and out with 30 mins after replacing a capacitor and add refrigerant. We’ve been part of the sun club for 2 years and it’s well worth the money. Nothing but excellent service from Sun Air and from Jay today

I cannot say enough positive things about Sun Air Conditioning and Jim, the owner. They installed a new outdoor A/C unit, new coils in the attic, and replaced old duct work. They responded quickly when we reached out for a quote and the pricing was reasonable as compared to others. Jim took time to explain the issue and the steps required to resolve. Heating system went out while we were sleeping. We woke up to a cold house. Made the call to Sun and they scheduled a technician for same day. Jay arrived before scheduled time and promptly got the system running again. Jay was very knowledgeable and courteous. We finally found a company we will continue using because they have proven their integrity over others we have used before.

We have used Sun Air Conditioning for over 10 years. I wish more service businesses were like this one. We have found this to be an honest business with involved owners, service reps that are courteous, on time, working hard to do the right thing such as repairing something instead of saying it needs to be replaced. We have had both warranty & non-warranty work done over the years. Several times the owner, Jim, has come to assist a technician or just to check on the work. We have dealt with Art in the office & Laura. Currently, our technician is Rusty. We could not ask for a better group of people. We have found them to be friendly, professional, honest, & considerate of our schedule & our wallet. :). I highly recommend this service. As a Google Local Guide, I noticed there are only a few low reviews. One of the reviews was changed from a 1 star to 5 star, but it does not show on the list. Another was for a phone call not returned - who knows, if only calling once the message could have been garbled or accidentally deleted - not a reason for a bad review in my book. They have many great reviews on Google & Better Business Bureau that let you know what type of business this is.

Johnathan came out and diagnosed my AC issue and was able to replace the parts under warranty the same day. Johnathan did an awesome job and explained all my options. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Sun AC again.

We needed a lot of work done to get our new Air Conditioner up to speed to work with our 30 year old ducts, etc. The Sun Air Conditioning team was wonderful. Although the scope of the job was one they would normally not accept, they did and they were fast and efficient. We would recommend Sun A/C to anyone.

Jonathan came to fix my AC on one of the hottest Saturdays of the year! He was able to analyze my problem and fix my AC in 15 minutes and then he verified it for 30 additional minutes on his day off! Excellent service!!!

I seldom take the time to review a company, But after referring Sun Air to yet another family member recently, and sending them the Google link to this company, I noticed a negative review. That has prompted me to tell you about our experience. I feel compelled to brag not only about the owners, but also their top-notch, always-professional employees.We have been a customer for going on 10 years. Initially. my wife and I began dealing with Sun Air to only perform our annual furnace check-up. Over the course of time our house eventually needed the AC compressor replaced and most recently, the furnace as well. In every transaction we have had with Sun Air and its staff, weve always been treated in a timely manner, with respect, with honesty, and with fairness. We are not wealthy, so we do look for fairness in price often and they have always been competitive and upfront with the costs.(no last-minute surprises with hidden costs) We now know their quality of their work, so we dont always fall for the cheapest price from other vendors. The technicians have always been respectful and clean, (always put on those shoe sole protectors) diligent in their work, finished the job when promised, and always cleaned up after themselves after the job was completed. We are all human and we all will eventually have a bad day, but after almost 10 years of positive experiences with this company, I cant imagine how you could go wrong with choosing them. I chose this company because of the good reviews, Im really surprised to be leaving this awful experience. In summary, I scheduled a preventative service and was confused by the service I actually got. I called the office within the hour following my appointment and requested more information (as a new homeowner/first time customer, I thought maybe Im missing something). I was advised a manager would call me back to discuss further. Art called back. My conversation with him blew me away, still does now, on how defensive, patronizing and outright dismissive he was. I never once in speaking with this companys representatives requested or mentioned a refund. I simply asked for clarification on the service I got versus what I had scheduled/requested. After what seemed like the usual spiel Art provides customers with questions didnt work, he stated your 89 dollars will not make or break this company and that he would transfer me to the admin team for a refund. Just like that, I was dismissed. I managed to thank him before he transferred me without another word. Needless to say, I will take my business elsewhere for professional customer service.

I had a hole in a couple of pipes upstairs on my a/c unit so water was flooding my attic. Had no air since Friday morning.. I called Sun Air at 8am Monday morning and Richard was at my house by 8:15 a. !!! Talk about service ~~ amazing!! Richard was very professional and friendly. I am very pleased with the installation of my new HVAC system by Sun Air Conditioning & Heating. This is the second one they have done for me as Ive been in my house over 30 years. Both installations went smoothly including their listening to my observations and requests. Rusty even helped me finish installing a flush value on my toilet which gave me problems getting it off! The five minutes it took for him to do it meant the world to me as I struggled with it for days. Well beyond the call of duty.

I’ve used Sun A/C for large commercial projects at our manufacturing plant as well as residential services at my home. I’ve had the opportunity to meet the owner who came out personally to quote my commercial project needs. He was timely, kind and very quick with turnaround on quotes. The technicians are very knowledgeable and straightforward. The one thing I truly appreciate with this company is they don’t constantly push to sell items that aren’t necessary. I would and have recommended this company to others for large and small projects.

July 22 , 2023 Jonathan Jaquez showed up on an emergency call and fixed our A/C on Saturday… in this heat our inside heat temp was rising steadily. Jonathan has a great attitude, very professional and he knew exactly what to check after we told him what the A/C was doing .He found the issue and had the part on his truck and bingo we were back in business with our A/C now steadily cooling and coming down . Summer is never fun when the AC goes out. From the very start Sun Air Conditioning was extremely prompt in their response and service in getting me back up and running. I ended up needing to replace my compressor and coil in the attic, and I felt like Sun Air was the best price for the best value. I have much respect for the entire team that worked both outside and inside my attic. They kept my house very clean considering the monsoon that fell while installing the compressor outside. I am very glad that I have found a reliable and responsive air conditioning company in my back yard, that I intend to use as long as I am here in Sugar Land!

Your repairman, Sergio, was on time. He asked a few questions and went right to the problem, bad capacitor, and changed it out. While we waiting for the system to reset, Sergio cleaned the outside coils and advised me how I could save more money with the different plans that Sun Air offered. Sergio was very professional.

It’s been months (May 2022) since Sun A/C installed my air and heating units. The products and installation were awesome. I am pleased, but money was stolen from my purse during the installation at my home. Every time I turn on my unit I think about this criminal act in my home …my safe haven. To add to this violation the owner didn’t console or believe me. After spending thousands of dollars, it’s the principle of the whole situation. The contractual Crew were all Spanish speaking no one spoke English. I had my purse out because I thought the owner and I were going to sit down and sign a contract or he needed my ID. I waited all day for this meeting to happen ,but it never did. I turned my back a few times since it was hot in my house to go to my patio to cool off. I left my purse on the table. An hour after the job was completed and they left, I went to a fast food place to get something to eat. When it was time to pay I discovered my money was missing! I didn’t want to think the worst or blame anyone about my missing money. So. I immediately went home and searched my house, car, pocketbook and purse again and again. I was shocked, upset and violated of what happened in MY home my money was stolen. I called the company that night and spoke to the owner the next day. I handled the conversation respectfully and carefully choosing my words describing my ordeal. But the owner immediately took his crew side without listening to the facts. In summary he accused me of lying and I felt like the criminal. He failed me as a customer because all his workers should have had background checks and bonded. I can NOT recommend this company despite their work and products. Sun A/C owner hires criminals! Make sure you not only do your homework on the company but its workers! As of today 8/24/22 this matter has not been rectified or followed up on. Very disappointed!

Jay is always on time, usually arriving early, is thorough and informative about whatever issue prompted our call. In my opinion, the cost of repairs is very reasonable, which is quite a difference from the A/C company we previously used. Were very satisfied and will rely on Sun in the future.

I have to say I was really impressed with this company. We initially called Sun Air Conditioning to get an estimate on replacing our AC which was old and no longer dependable, but still working. The technician, Sergio, came out to do a site survey and evaluation of our system and sat down with us to really find out what we wanted with the new system . We also talked about all of the problems with our current system. He explained several options that could work for us including 1 unit systems with electronic dampers and 2 unit systems . What we were really interested in was replacing our 1 unit system in our 2 story house with a 2 unit system so that we would have that dual redundancy in case one ever went out plus better control of the separate floor temperatures. Sergio relayed to us 3 options for systems that would work, but we just did not fully understand the scope of the systems . Sergio picked up on this and offered to bring Rusty to layout the system design for us and Jim, the owner, to further come out and make sure the design was going to be just right for our needs. After speaking further with their team we acknowledged that there were some hot spots in our house both upstairs and downstairs that needed to be corrected with the new system. Now we were ready to move forward with the new system but Summer was already here, and their crew was booked up for the next three days. This would not be a problem since our system had been running up until then, but it died just after we decided on the system design. This is where Sun Air really stepped up their game and offered to replace the compressor motor to get our ailing system back cooling, at least for a few more days before the 2 new units could be installed later in the week. They got our existing system running right away and came back later in the week to get the job done on the new install of the 2 units . Their crew was tirelessly working in extreme temperatures to get the job done in 2 days instead of the 3 that they initially expected, with all of the new ducts, return air, electrical, gas piping, etc. I would recommend Sun Air conditioning and Heating to anyone looking to repair or replace their HVAC system but if you are looking to replace a unit I would for sure recommend talking to these guys. Any HVAC company could have sold me a new system but these guys at Sun Air, took the time and effort to make sure that I had the right system and the right air flow in all the right spots, for my property. Basically everything I take for granted with cooling a house they made sure to cover from top to bottom, inside and out. These guys are true professionals and some of the hardest working crew I have ever seen at a job site.

The repair man they sent was named Jay and he was extremely polite and knowledgeable about my unit. Not only did he address the problem, but found a couple other things that needed attention and got me taken care of. I won’t hesitate to use them again. A+

Edward is the quintessential professional! He arrived on time and performed the spring maintainance above and beyond what your average technician would do. He also replace the metal air filter grill located in the ceiling. He gave me tips regarding the A/C system -- I learned quite a few things from this young man. I highly recommend Edward and I will certainly request his services again.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Amazing service! Rusty went above and beyond what was required of an A/C company for the installation of two new thermostats. After some fairly confusing technical issues and multiple visits, Rusty got the systems working and treated the whole experience like it was for his own home. Forever a customer.

Ive been using SunAir conditioning for all my A/C needs! They are always there to fix any problems at a very reasonable price! I always ask for Lupe. I have been using the same company in Houston for all our HVAC calls for 10 years. We recently called them to check our two GFA furnaces and the tech who came out was unable to diagnose or fix the issue, but recommended ordering parts for replacement.I called Sun based on their reviews and I had a wonderful experience. They said they could send someone out within hours. Richard arrived promptly, listened to me describe what had been happening with the furnaces, and then very patiently and thoroughly checked and tested both units. He was very patient and explained what he was doing. That actually meant a lot to me because I am a woman but I am the handy person in our house and many times technicians will assume that I am clueless and can sometimes be condescending.Richard fixed the problem (there was condensate trapped in the line) and then stayed to make sure the systems were running correctly. It was an absolute delight to work with him and I will never go back to my old HVAC service again. Highly recommend!

Sun Air Conditioning was recommended to me by a friend. They installed my current A/C and Heater several years ago and have been professional when doing routine maintenance. They dont try to push unwanted services or products on you. Today, Sergio was very helpful and answered all of my questions.

I called to inquire about having my whole home dehumidifier system serviced (this company was on the manufacturers website as a preferred distributor), but these guys werent interested in helping...just told me they didnt want to take on the work.

I had an intermittent problem with my Trane A/C unit (purchased and installed by Sun almost 10 years ago). Jay, Jim (the owner), Luke, and Art all pitched in to get me fixed up. Friendly, professional, competent. Great work guys. HIGHLY recommended.

They were very honest. What I thought was a major problem only turned out to be minor adjustments. No parts were needed, and I was only charged a minor service fee. The technician didnt try to sell me anything and was very friendly and professional.In the past, I have had problems with other companies trying to push me into purchasing new unit instead if servicing my current unit. And I totally appreciated that the Sun tech did not try to sell me something I didnt need.I will defintely use Sun in the future and refer them to family and friends!

I have AC two units. I purchased a new unit from Sun a few years ago. I requested maintenance on both units today. The maintenance guy that came by was very knowledgeable and helpful. He quickly diagnosed the AC leak in my older condenser. Will be calling back soon for repairs/replacement. Great experience.

I have used Sun for my AC needs on my home for over 15 years. They always do what they say they will do. Yesterday after 14 years of use, they replaced my downstairs AC unit and evaporator coil, and there were no problems as usual. They did a great job.

In the past, had a really good experience. Of late there have been delays with installing new equipment, responding to emails, and closing the loop on communication. I would give them an average, down from excellent in the past, especially as compared to other 5 star places out there.

I had some AC problems and called this company since their sticker was on the condensor unit.The tech came out and said the leak is so big, I can hear it. (Well, the AC needed a charge but was still working) I was advised that I needed a complete new unit. The tech “charged the unit” but the performance was WORST after the service (Charge pressure was around 22 psi AFTER the charge on a 90F day). I called the company since the unit was still supposed to be under warranty (5 year old), but guess what; These crooks had no record of the unit, anywhere!! ----------- I called another contractor who charged the unit and 5 years later, it is still running. Yes, it has a small leak, but it only needs about 1-2 lbs a year. BEWARE!!!

I’ve replaced several HVAC system’s with Sun A/C. The technical and customer service is second to no other company. They will be prompt and honest on service calls and provide a competitive price. I would strongly consider utilizing thi company when needed.

Dead a/c on a Sunday evening. Sun A/C gave me the option of paying the after hours fee or waiting until Monday morning until instead of surprising me with a high charge. I chose Monday morning. They showed up when they said they would. Friendly and professional technician. Problem solved. Sun A/C was the only company that returned my call on a Sunday evening. I called four local companies.

I had service by Jay M with Sun Air Conditioning, he went into great detail of what the problem was and my options. Great service from a nice guy, i highly recommend them/him.

Richard repaired one of my units. As we talked about my other units and how I didnt think they put out cold enough air, he said let me look at them. He made some adjustments and they are all blowing cooler air than they had ever blown before. Two of them were installed new in the last five years by others and never did they blow as cold.
