Extremely happy with Davis AC’s Marquise!!!! He was so wonderful and understanding. I called Monday morning and by 3:00pm, Marquise was dispatched. My townhome was at 79 which the cause turned out to be a leak. By the time he left the house started to cool down. He was knowledgeable, professional and super swift with the game plan and resolution. Will recommend Marquise always! He was also kind enough to let my mother take his picture since she was observing what he was doing to help us!

They tell me if there is something that needs attention or might soon but I don’t feel like they are trying to upsell me. Roberto Flores was excellent! He spent so much time explaining our ecobee system to us. He corrected the problem with the programming and gave us lots of information about the maintenance program and the certain times of year that we should make adjustments to our HVAC. Weve never had someone explain everything to us! If we ever have someone come back out to our house, we will request him! I say give this guy a raise! He was so knowledgeable and so personable with me and my wife!

Davis AC, Technician Carlos Guevara, performed a maintenance check-up on my heater. He checked temperatures, pressures and functionality of the motor performance on the zoned system motors. He checked the thermostat performance as well as a visual of the UV light and filter in the unit.Mr. Guevara wore shoe covers over his work shoes to keep the house clean. He took he time to explain exactly what system checks would be performed & why. Our thermostat would.not accept our setpoint change and the cold weather was on the way . A phone call to the office and I got 3 calls back to to see if we were okay. The next morning the nicest most competent young man showed up replace it. Yes we will use the company again..They are already on our calendar for inspections.

I had Davis AC & Heating replace my HVAC system last year (2 units, 1 for each floor), and Rooney just came through for our 1 year checkup. I couldnt be happier with their service! They were professional, on time, communicated well, and went above and beyond during the install and the checkup. Our system works great, the adjustments they made on fan speeds are making a difference, and they adjusted the drain slope to avoid future issues. Their thoroughness is unmatched. We have a Maintenance Agreement with Davis A/C. They scheduled the maintenance appointment quickly, and informed me about the expected time of arrival of technician. The technicians showed up on time, completed the inspection and maintenance, and informed us about the findings. In all, it was a very easy process and professional work.

Davis AC and Heating provided high quality service and products in our recent purchase of a new system. The first technician that came out and diagnosed the problems with the old system suggested it might be best to install a new system which we knew we needed. He took the time to discuss options on the phone with my husband who was at work, and did an outstanding job of explaining everything to me. When we decided to go with a new system that day, this same technician very thoroughly gathered all the information he needed to order the system, even missing his lunch to do so. When the installers came, they were very professional and worked the entire day disassembling the old system and installing two new units. Never did they nick any walls or stair railings taking out the old parts. They cleaned up extremely well - not a screw left on the driveway, and they vacuumed the floor! The technician who came to wire the thermostats was very polite, and he worked through his lunch to complete the job. The office staff has always been very polite, helpful, and professional whenever I called. We will continue to use Davis AC and Heating in the future.

My husband and I are very happy with the service provided by Davis Air Conditioning. We were having issues with our a/c unit not cooling properly. Davis sent a tech out the day we called them for service. The tech was courteous and he diagnosed the problem quickly. He informed me that a special part would need to be ordered and when we could expect the repairs to be completed. Once the part was received, which was sooner than we anticipated, two techs spent several hours in the extreme heat in the attic making the repairs. They also were courteous, cleaned up all the repair debris, and left zero mess behind. I was so grateful to have cold air again. They called today to make a follow up appointment to check that everything is working properly. I highly recommend this company!

Most people appear to have a good experience with Davis AC but I had the opposite. We called Davis AC to come check out our AC as it was not cooling to the temperature that we typically sleep with. Someone within the company came out and checked out our AC and told us that it was normal for the AC to be doing that because the AC system was getting older.( brand new house and lived here 4 years). The AC would hold at 76 all day and the lowest it would get was 72. His recommendation Was to change out the filter and keep the doors open to let the air circulate. A couple days went by and they continued to get hot and we decided to call in a third-party to get a second opinion and we were told that the coil evaporator was leaking Freon and that we would need to replace it. I tried to contact Davis AC to get a price quote on labor and Freon since the part was covered under warranty but I was told that they would need to come diagnose it themselves. I told them no, they couldn’t even do that the first time and told us it was normal. I asked if I could get a quote from the paperwork that the third party provided and they stated that no. I am very disappointed with Davis AC. I will not use them again. I took half a day off to be told it was normal to be in hot house.

Our technician was knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining the results of the annual inspection. He used pictures to show the different parts of the heater and air conditioner, so that we had a clear understanding of what he found.

Davis is always our go to for AC. We ordered a soft start to put on our system. It took a couple of weeks to get in, but they were very communicative during the wait. When he came out to install it he was very professional and respectful.

The technician, Jaylin was nice and professional and very easy to talk to. He gave excellent service but I think your prices are extremely accelerated. Im an old lady of 70 plus years on fixed income and to replace a condenser for which prices have skyrocketed is outrageous. He did a thorough job when inspecting both units. He took his time and went outside to clean the units and gave a stellar inspection. He also went in my attic and changed filters. I recommend you but I still think I was over charged.

Eddie Lucero came by twice to service our HVAC. He is not only thorough and professional but goes above and beyond what is expected of an HVAC professional. He cam to fix our downstairs A.C which had stopped working. He fixed it and also checked the system out thoroughly. as a result he corrected several loose ends that were left over from initial install by builder. He also sold and installed an Easy Start unit that lowered the initial demand on the generator we had installed by Generac. He took the time to show me how to manage the A.C including regular maintainance, use of the app, and proper use of the thermostats. When did I ever get this level of service from a tech ? Cant recall.

Do yourself a favor and choose a different HVAC company. I had a “silver” membership which comes at a cost of $199/ yr and includes two maintenance visits. My maintenance visits were never scheduled properly - the burden of using the benefit I was paying for fell on me. When I would ask why I hadn’t been contacted there was always an excuse of - we’re sorry you just fell off the list or we’re upgrading our systems we must have just missed you. I was recommended repairs which should not have been recommended rather then recommending replacing the HVAC unit. The money I’ve spent on repairs over the last 5 years would be the equivalent of a new HVAC unit. I’ve had techs come out to check my unit who called a more experienced tech to walk them through what they are doing. I’m glad my relationship with this company is over and I will never be recommending them to anyone.

Rooney was very knowledgeable and helpful. We have Davis A/C do our maintenance and this time our airflow to certain rooms needed to be adjusted and Trey spent the time to research and fix it for us.Definitely recommend them as they also installed our system when the house was built.

They refuse to give quote on phone for UV light install and want $99 for technician to visit and then tell me what I already know and want ! Not a good practice to put customers in a situation where they have choose between whatever high price they quote or loose $99 dollars.

I would like to say that this company gives great service but I can not. Im currently going on three years, and this damper switch has finally stopped working properly. In my brand new home, thats not even four years old. After the winter storm, this system has not been performed properly. Zone 1 in my house consists of master room, master bathroom area. It gets warmer than the rest of the house in the summertime and vice versa in the winter. The winter is extremely bad because my return vent is blowing heat out upstairs because it is cooler downstairs than upstairs, and the unit is trying to cool zone 1. Which never gets properly heated. Causing upstairs to get 15 plus degrees hot if no one noticed that it is constantly running. Now theyve shown me how to open this switch, which Ive had to show my family how to do because Im constantly on the road. Which was a plus, but as of yesterday, this solution doesnt work anymore. Im a veteran in his new home and have come completely fed up now. Can I please get this repaired or replaced. Ill be calling this morning....😡😡

WOW--No one wants to have an evaporator coil issue particularly during a record heat wave. Our new home builder used Davis to install our Lennox system a few years ago. A coil leak was confirmed on Monday night and Thursday morning the crew was installing the replacement coil which needed to come from Lennox. In order to keep our home cool because of extenuating circumstances of our own, Davis added coolant that Monday night and also returned on Wednesday afternoon to keep the system performing. Office customer service staff was courtesy and helpful. Techs Roberto Florence and Janson Vu are conscientious and thorough! Install crew efficiently got the job done. Our entire HVAC system and duct work has been checked out and things are great. Thank you everyone at Davis. You clearly have our recommendation!

Very professional company. I have used these guys for various HVAC break/fix issues and maintenance for the past 6+ years and they have been reasonable with pricing and straight forward with services. My most recent service tech was Roberto; very friendly, knowledgeable, fixed a thermostat issue, and provided some future maintenance/service advice (with pictures and explanations) without being pushy at all. Dispatch was also very flexible with scheduling - although Im sure this may, understandably, not always be the case during times of weather extremes. Would recommend!

Alex just finished our annual winter check-up and did very thorough and professional job. Rooney Cuellar did HVAC annual maintenance for me. He did bunch of test like leak of Natural Gas. Suggested some corrective items too. Seems he knows quite a bit.

Our AC had a problem and Trey was out the next day to take a look. He did a thorough job taking time to look at everything and explain everything and the biggest thing I didnt know had to do with static pressures and how that can affect the air and the amount cooled if it is too high. He made some adjustments and we also replaced a part that was worn and so far it seems to be cooling much better and longer and the air distribution seems more even! His time and expertise made a huge difference and he deserves a raise. He gave us honest options to consider and that was appreciated! Would definitely recommend 10000%! Thank you so much!!

I cant remember the agents name but he was thorough with his work and changed my filters before he left. Didnt seem like he was rushing, tool his time and answered all my questions and showed me a few things to keep my AC in good standing.

Their warranty/warranty process is phenomenal. The compressor in the air handling unit, at the property I’m renting, went bad mid summer. They jumped on the issue immediately, provided a temporarily indoor air unit, and connected with the home builder to get me back up and running. I was without air for about 2 weeks but their level of service outweighed the heat. Great customer service/care is hard to come by these days, job well done Davis AC&H.

Very professional. We called Davis Air Conditioning’s after hours number on a Friday evening when we noticed my mom’s house was getting warm. A tech (James) called me back in less than 5 minutes and was at the house in less than 30. You might expect someone to be grouchy to be called out on a Friday evening, but James certainly wasn’t. He diagnosed the problem quickly, worked up a bid, and even helped me set up our portable window unit all while fielding questions from my inquisitive 88 year old mother. Weve been without air conditioning for five days now because our A/C compressor is out. Despite our new home being only a year old, they still havent replaced it and cant give us an estimated time of repair. Every time we call, they tell us the manufacturer hasnt responded to the order. Its frustrating to think they installed and service these units without having essential parts available.Update: They replaced the entire outdoor unit as the compressor was back ordered. Good to see that they are acting upon the customer feedback.

We have been loyal customers with Davis Air for a very long time. ( we have the service contract, too) We recently heard a low hum whenever the AC came on and called for a technician to come out and check the system. Marquis came out on 9/21/23 and checked and advised a temporary repair on our old system would alleviate the hum and recommended upgrading to a new system. After listening to his advice we decided to go for a complete replacement of our AC/Heating package. A few days later two techs came out and physically measured the entire house. The following Friday , 09/29/23 we were scheduled for the complete replacement of the ducts and AC/Heating systems. The crew arrived at 0830 and immediately began the job. They worked diligently until 8:00 PM when the inside thermostat was installed, programmed for us and everything was on line and working perfectly. The crew cleaned up the area very well. We are completely satisfied with the professionalism of all the employees of Davis Air and highly RECOMMEND this company to all our friends and neighbors. Marquis is a competent technician and is an asset to Davis Air!

On time, clean and courteous. Had a new AC complete system installed one year ago with two follow-up visits for maintenance. Great service and so happy with my energy savings with the new system.Followup: Recently I had an issue with the new unit. Davis came out and found the issue, got me running, then came out again to exchange some parts, all under warranty. Very happy with their professional manner and great work.

With this new house Ive had heat imbalance issues with it being incredibly hot upstairs and cold downstairs, and before that, too much airflow overall (sounded like an industrial fan). Patrick from AC Davis came by and fixed all those issues, with a lot of precise adjustments to give a great result. They are very perceptive to the customers concerns and address them appropriately.

Called the company regarding no heat in the house on a particularly cold morning. Phone response was immediate and a return text was received shortly after the initial call. After troubleshooting by phone a tech was scheduled to work me in. The tech showed up fairly quickly, after notifying me they were in route. The tech was knowledgeable and thorough and had the heat back on in no time. Yeah! Would I recommend? Based on my experience absolutely! Even asked me if I had any questions for him and answered them all!

They must be paying for these positive reviews! What a joke. Purchased brand new home and Davis AC has cause me nothing but stress leading to many health complications!!! Over 60 visits to my home without a resolution. Compressor went out last year they replaced it which caused me to spend $450.00 on my light bill for months. No surprise Compressor went out again last week Thursday. AC stop working Saturday night. They refuse to fix the problem just keep putting bandage on an issue they will not confess to. Ive had managers with this company came out and lied to my face on several occasions. What happened to integrity? So glad I kept a record because they dont care. If they did my AC will fixed!!!!! PERIOD First time home buyer and I am truly disappointed with Davis AC and David Weekley. They have made my experience buying a new home stressful, depressed, lost etc. David Weekley blocked me off Facebook for speaking my truth. Pray for me. But God

I’ve lived in my home for almost 3yrs and Davis has been my maintenance company since move in day. My service tech Matt(Matthew) has been to my house at least 4 times and he’s always professional, respectful, and kind. When anybody else shows up I’m a bit disappointed that it’s not him. He’s a great tech with a wonderful smile and disposition. He’s super dependable and knows his job. Davis is very lucky to have him as an employee. I think any homeowner would be pleased with him as their service tech.

I purchased their twice annual maintenance and feel it is a good value. Before my second visit I noticed my a/c condensing unit was cycling off after 10 minutes. They cleaned the outdoor coil and fixed the problem as part of my twice annual checkups. Responded fast to my call, did a great job, and fixed. my problem. Not sure what more one could ask.

Having major issues with Lennox AC. Davis AC & Heating sent tech Marquis to do an estimate and diagnose the issues with the system. Marquis meticulously went through the steps to identify the problem and fix multiple issues that were keeping the unit from cooling properly. He was professional and kept me informed throughout the process. We do plan to secure this company for our HVAC needs for our multiple properties. I recommend them to others needing help with HVAC.

The Davis AC Tech, walked me through changing my filer, how often and to poor a little vinegar into the pipe to keep it clean.

AVOID!! I’ve used Davis for many years on numerous properties I own in the Cypress area. This year after Davis AC completed annual maintenance service at one my properties I was told my condenser outside and UV light in attic was not operational and needed replacement. Davis quoted me $6,000-10,000 for the replacement work. I hired independent 3rd party perform additional inspection to confirm the expensive scope work was actually required, however outcome of 3rd party inspection found that only the capacitor needed replacement and the UV light in attic was just unplugged. The repairs required were only $335, I don’t understand how Davis’s technician could get the diagnosis so WRONG. Buyer beware using Davis!! I’m never using Davis again for any my properties.

Jailyn and Zach were quick to diagnose the problem. They explained me what happened and tried to call the manufacturer repeatedly to see of they could cover under warranty. They fixed the issue ( an odd one where the wires zip tied to the suction line of compressor arced and made a hole resulting in refrigerant leak) and got it working same day.

I had a great experience with this company, when my A/C broke they came the same date, stayed in contact with me through text message. Their technician Roberto Flores and Emilio Ramirez did a great job diagnosing the problem and fixing the A/C.

Our compressor was not making any noise, and there was no airflow in the house. Called after hours and an appointment was scheduled for the following morning. Our technician Mr. Jermaine was extremely pleasant, and was a fantastic help in taking the time to educate me on cleaning tips that would help in prolonging the longevity of the unit. He also sent me information for selecting maintenance plans to assist me in maintaining the unit throughout the year. 10/10 would recommend Davis A/C as well as Mr. Jermaine for any issue that may arise.
