Water Heater Install: excellent customer service and experience! Our water heater went out and leaked through the ceiling during a busy holiday week. We knew we were in great hands from the start when we called in and scheduled our consult with Alison. Alison was very professional and knowledgeable about specific questions I had regarding the install process and our available options for a replacement tank. She was able to schedule us within seconds and I had a confirmation email and text while still on the phone! We had a tech out same day for a consult and install. Dennis, our tech, was very knowledgeable and spent a good deal of time inspecting our water heater and reviewing our replacement tank options. We were able to schedule same day install and Dennis came back and did it himself. Tank, pipes, fixins’ and all! The unit was over 10 years old and came with a bunch of sludge that took a bit of time to knock out. Dennis put in work and we ended up with a brand new (functioning!) water heater and old’ sludgy was taken away. From start to finish it was less than a 24 hour process with direct and personal communication from 2 people working closely with our account. From business to business, we appreciate the great customer service and work to get us back up and running before Christmas!

The Woodlands Air and Plumbing have been quick to respond and troubleshoot issues that were actually due to a manufacturing update on a product air purifier they installed. Eric and his team have been helpful, fast and very polite. I appreciate him working through the issues in the unit.

Overall a positive experience, almost 5 star. I had my usual fall furnace inspection, everything was fine. We decided to install surge protectors on the outdoor condenser units.Power was disconnected, surge was installed, the power disconnect was never locked back in to install power. The downstairs unit cooled fine, the upstairs never turned on. I think this should have been checked before the tech left - the temp continues to rise upstairs until it hit about 88. When I called about the issue, they could not send a tech until the following morning.Thankfully, I was able to locate the disconnect and reconnect power - Im no expert, so maybe I shouldnt be touching these things, but it worked.The next day a tech came and confirmed this was most likely the reason why we didnt have the unit working the day before.The techs and customer service were great as usual. But -1 star for the headache, waste of time, and 24 hours of 88 degree great in my house until I solved the problem.

I want to say how disappointed I am in the work done. In February, work was completed to fix a leaking pipe and a new washing machine box and valves were installed. Besides the fact that the blue valve was attached to the hot water line and the red valve to the cold water, it appeared that everything was functioning properly. About two weeks ago I disconnected the washer hoses to prepare for a new washing machine delivery and discovered that one of the valves was leaking. While I appreciate someone coming out quickly, I am also extremely frustrated that drywall had to be removed as I just had it repaired. I told the plumber about the valve mix up, but his response was “that’s how the box came”. Even though he had to replace at least one of the valves he did not put the correct color on. Then he set the valve so high that the threads were touching the top of the box. I had him lower it before finishing. However I am disappointed that the valves are still representing the wrong temperature and the new valve doesn’t match in style and also the placement is tilted and wobbly. If I wanted a mediocre repair, I would watch a YouTube video and do it myself. However we spent over $1000 in February expecting professional work. I included a photo but could not add the video. The photo does not demonstrate the full extent of the shoddiness of the work. I would like this repair done correctly, but when contacting the company it is impossible to reach anyone who can actually help me. The person who the receptionist says I need to talk to has yet to call back.

I called the office and was able to get a same day appointment. Jonathan arrived promptly, was professional, knowledgeable, efficient and very helpful. He followed up with practical advice after he was done. He also wore boot covers and was friendly and respectful. Highly recommend!

My husband and I brought a house and unfortunately it needed a new AC and Heater! We called The Woodlands Plumbing & Air and Makenzie was very personal. Makenzie was able to give us an appointment that worked with my schedule and assured me she was sending a professional out to help us. She was knowledgeable and was able to help in anyway possible. Jeff came to my house and was very knowledgeable as well. He helped us make a major decision! He definitely put in the work before advising us we would need a new AC. Jeff worked for a couple of hours on the old AC. He definitely seemed to care and understood this was a big purchase for us. When the technicians came to the house they were also professional. They covered my door and wore covers on their shoes. When I returned home after work my house it was left just as it was before. It was an all around great experience in a not so great situation! Excellent experience from beginning to end. Person who took my call was extremely nice and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Samuel the A/C technician was amazing. He took his time, explained everything to me in detail, and quickly identified and resolved the issue. WP&A exceeded my expectations and really came through for me -- much appreciated!!

We had an AC problem develop overnight. I called the office first thing in the morning and met with Jeff at 10:30. He explained our options, answered a lot of questions and recommended a replacement for our 12 year old HVAC unit. We were able to negotiate a reasonable discount off the initial price that was quoted and he was able to get a crew out in 11/2 hours. They completed the installation by 4:00 that afternoon. Omar and his crew were professional and did an amazing job in 100+ heat! We had a very good experience with the company and enjoying a comfortable evening.

This company and their staff did an outstanding job!!! They had a technician to my house in less than an hour and he diagnosed the a/c problem in approximately half an hour. They quoted me a fair price for the work and started the next morning when they said they would. They had to work outside and in the attic. Both work areas commenced at the same time so they effectively cut the duration of the work in half which was the first time I had seen a repair company do that. They put down drop cloths from the front door to the attic access and also wore cloth booties. The area they worked in was cleaner than when they arrived. The technicians were friendly, polite, and professional!!! This company is the best service company I have had in over 50 years of home ownership!!! Bill Hawkins

Good work, just way, way, way overpriced. I had a warranty fix on my 4 year old ac and it cost me 3,000 in labor for 3 hrs of work (did not pay for any parts). I would have hired someone cheaper but they hold my warranty as they installed my ac a few years ago. Avoid if you can as they are not the same company as they were a few years ago.Edit, I love that they will learn from ripping me off. Glad I could help lol.

Excellent service and my new high toilets, & One piece units are fantastic flushing out. The blowout of the sewer lines really helped and now I only have to flush once instead of three times without having to use the plunger. Thank you guys!

From the initial call to the tech Bill, my experience with this company was great. The lady I initially spoke to was so friendly and the tech Bill, was awesome! He fixed the issue with our AC unit and educated us on the maintenance. We will be calling back and requesting Bill again when its time for service again. I would definitely recommend this company.

They were a great company. I had them install my HVAC system a few years ago. However, over the past couple of months they have proven to be untrustworthy, and just don’t care. The techs come out to look at the system and then do work without approval and without telling you the cost up front. The cost itself is almost 4x the amount of anyone else. A cleaning of unit and duct work was quoted at almost $4k, a 15 minute fix without parts at $400, etc. Plus all the techs try to push their Halo filter as a fix all for all problems. Each tech that came out would tell me incorrect information. I called multiple times to speak with the general manager and let him know of all these changes, but he couldn’t be bothered to call me back. I will be using a different company for all my air conditioning maintenance even though I have a warranty with this company. Overpriced, techs don’t know what they are doing and company doesn’t care.

Initial visit. Mr. Crowder was punctual and even waited a few minutes for me to arrive. Work will be performed tomorrow.

We called Woodlands Plumbing and Air the moment we noticed undeniable signs of water damage starting in our wall. They got plumber Jonathan over to us later the same day. Even though I’m sure Jonathan had already worked many long, hot hours he arrived cheerful and tackled our problem like it was the only thing he had to do that day. He had enough experience to suspect where the problem would be, and enough patience and perseverance to keep looking until he found it. The leak was fixed within the hour before any further water damage could occur. No one ever wants a leaky pipe, but if you ever get one, I’m glad there are people like Jonathan to come to the rescue.

Id give zero stars if I could. All I need is replacement of the some parts...why try to sell me new toilets! I could tell I was in for a sales job when I was asked to sit down to discuss. Then to be told, he must offer me that so the boss doesnt get mad. The boss is going to be mad now since you will not be making repairs. I was not even given a breakdown on how a $700 price tag was arrived at! Since I had you replace my heater, I paid for 10% off future work, even that was not even taken into account.

We have always used this company for our AC Repairs going back over 12 years. Im not sure if they have new ownership, but was very disappointed in my last visit. I had an AC issue with my downstairs unit, water was leaking into the attic. My technician came out and I was told I needed to have my evaporator coil replaced in my UPSTAIRS unit, a cost of almost $7k. I was told the coil was falling apart and causing my lines to clog. Well none of this seemed correct to me as the problem was with the downstairs unit and when I questioned costs and labor fees, he would not give me an answer. My husband, who was out of town, even called the main office asking for a breakdown and they couldnt give him one. Of course I called for. a second opinion and Im glad I did. The new company took me into the attic and explained everything to me and actually showed me the problems. My upstairs unit was fine. If the coil was failing I should be seeing a leak in the refrigerant and all my levels were perfectly normal. All my issues were with my downstairs unit and the drain lines.. They were clogged, which they fixed, plus they reran the drain lines because they were not angled correctly to begin with and adjusted and replaced the drip pan. All done for well under $1k, saving me a ton, and all my units are running well now. I still can not understand why they tried to sale me something that was not even part of the problem to begin with. Yes I am a lady, home alone as my husband was out of town, and nothing was explained to me. I feel like I was being taken advantage. of. This was my experience and hopefully it does not happen to someone else.

When my AC quit over Memorial Day weekend, these guys were the only ones to answer the phone. They quickly scheduled a time frame, same day, and Keith showed up to evaluate the problem, diagnose and give me a quote at no charge! A part had to be ordered and they went out of their way to find a part for me, pick it up and come back to install! What could have been a long, hot weekend, turned into a huge relief for me! A shoutout to Keith for his professionalism, honesty and determination to get me back to a livable condition as fast as possible!! Very impressed!

Everything about this company was 5 star, from the beginning, including the lady who answered the phone. It wasn’t an emergency, yet they had a plumber at my home within 2 hours.

This company used to be my go-to for all HVAC issues in the woodlands, used them multiple times on 2 properties with no issues, previous owners used them to install 2 units and recommended them. However, I have been disappointed in their bait and switch tactics the last 2 times I’ve called them, charging almost double what other companies charge. Proceed with caution, their $99 /unit “tune-up” doesn’t get you anything but a knock on the door.

They refused to schedule an appointment for me due to the previous owners did not tell them they moved. Very poor service policy if you want new customers, I would definitely recommend removing that policy. Very poor customer service. At this point you have now lost a customer. Was looking forward to using your company from the reviews of the previous owner.

In fact, after first economically replacing my evaporator coil, I was so impressed with their knowledge of zoning and attention to detail, that I decided to replace three entire HVAC systems. Requested a new install for my broken unit yesterday and it was installed today. On time, laid down floor protection from front door to attic, removed old equipment and installed new in less than 7 hours. Cleaned up and we’re gone. Very polite and knowledgeable employees. Not just the head guy but all knew what they were doing and worked together as a fine oiled machine to get the job done. Quite impressive in this day and time. I highly recommend them. Brian gave us a good description of our equipment options without all the hype and oversell you normally get. At the end of the job he explained how to program the thermostat and such. Very pleased with him and his team.

The Woodlands Plumbing and Air might be the best experience we’ve ever had. They installed 2 complete systems. QFrom the beginning all the way to the finish they were professional, cordial, very thorough and thoughtful. Brian, Omar and his crews were a delight to work with. My family has had this company out twice for our Lennox A/C....technician was George Kizer. He was an exceptional technician and really professional / personable. It is very hard for me to trust ANYONE lately...especially A/C and Plumbing companies after being burned by others. After several visits on my units (I have multiple) Im really starting to trust this guy as well as the company. The latest repairs were done several weeks ago (pretty major repairs on an older unit) and everything he has done is working properly and per specs (what they billed me for). Cant ask for better service.

Jeff came to our house and did a thorough inspection of our cooling system. He found a leak in one of the coils and advised us on what we needed to do repairs.

I had a negative experience with the Plumbing team at Woodlands Plumbing and Air; I would say best case the team was disorganized and didnt communicate between the salesperson and plumber and worst case they were working hard to overcharge me and make a quick buck (or $1,500!). I initiated a call after my Wolf appliance technician said I needed to have a potential gas leak checked out by a licensed plumber. I contacted Woodlands Plumbing and Air and salesperson John came out to give me an estimate. I pointed out the specific joint that the Wolf appliance technician said I should have checked out. He stated that by Texas law he had to do a pressure test first for $900. The test and repair would cost $1,500 with a 10% discount and 1 year maintenance package. I told him thats fine but the specific problem is with the 90 degree black iron passing through the cabinet and into the wall. I was concerned about the leak and the freezing weather so I agreed to the test and rerunning the black iron pipe from the wall to the cooktop flex coupler as he recommended. He stated the job would take 4 to 6 hours and they would schedule for that afternoon. When the plumber Mike arrived I explained the issue to him as he couldnt understand from the service ticket what needed to be done. He proceeded to shutoff the gas and dissemble the 90 degree coupler that my Wolf technician said needed checked out. He put some pipe dope on it and reassembled the connection. He then performed a pressure test in just under 2 hours (including a short break). I pressed him to ensure that the leak was resolved (he didnt have a gas tester of any type on him unlike other plumbers that have done work for us in the past) even though the original scope was not performed. He said it tested 100% at the meter. I then asked how much I owed them. He said $1,500. He played dumb when I said but he didnt complete the original scope of the estimate. After a lot of back of forth with his office (and overhearing a lady in his office yell over his speakerphone at him not to leave without full payment) we settled on $900. I was very uncomfortable with the type of interaction between both myself and his salesperson and Mike the plumber and his office. It was not professional. I paid it but after talking with a few colleagues in the industry its clear $900 was steep for the work completed especially when I already had the problem diagnosed and identified the day earlier by the appliance technician and need only a minor labor only repair. They estimated a typical plumber in this area would have charged no more than $400 to $500 for the minor repair and pressure test.

Will Ream was incredibly friendly and patient while explaining the system I was interested in to replace my overworked and underperforming system. I was on the schedule quickly, and while my attic space gave the crew a rough time, they were like a machine, including Will, whom I thought was just my sales rep at the time.Over the next couple of visits to make sure everything was balanced and flowing properly, Will personally made adjustments and corrections to ensure my system was up to SE Texas standards.Im very happy with my system and especially pleased with how connected I was with Will at all times throughout the process. Id like to personally thank the whole team that worked on my home, because it couldnt have been anything short of miserable in my attic.I strongly recommend you give them a call; you wont be disappointed with their service.

We selected Woodlands Heating & Air for a complete replacement of our HVAC systems. Brian Collier, our tech rep, evaluated our existing 14 year old units, and walked us through our options. While Brian did not push us to replace the units, we opted to completely replace all three systems; including 2 1/2, 4 and 5 ton units; no small undertaking and a large investment on our part.The removal and installation team arrived on-time, were respectful of our home and property. The installation was not without issues; none the fault of Woodlands Heating & Air, but manufacturing issues with new equipment. The install team has done a fabulous job rectifying these issues. Trane, the manufacturer of these units is one of the most respected HVAC system companies in the world. However, even the best have problems. Fortunately, they have companies like Woodlands Heating & Air who distribute, install and maintain their systems; utilizing highly trained, knowledgeable technicians, who go to great lengths to make sure their customers are completely satisfied.We are very grateful to all the fine folks at Woodlands Heating & Air, for making us feel so special.

He was straight forward and didnt try to oversell to us like the other vendors.On service day Anthony, Francisco and Omar arrived and we knew immediately they were different. Respectful of the property and got to work immediately. The fastest and most efficient service ever experienced. High dollar for low service. This used to be a local business but apparently they sold out and now it’s phone trees and call centers and call backs, and all that’s not the kind of business I’m looking to support, especially at the premium price they charge. I would have never known had they not (again) made a mistake by sending the wrong equipment out for the task at hand. So here I was (again) calling to tell them how to do their job.Best of luck to you and your new Oklahoma corporate owners.

They were able to get someone out promptly to address an issue with our furnace. The technician, Reid, was very knowledgeable, professional, and forthcoming. They acknowledged misdiagnosing the issue and did not charge us for a new part that was already installed. They were then able to get the correct part for the unit and come out by the next morning.

George is such an amazing person and he really is very knowledgeable with our air condition system.We been so grateful to him for helping us find two rodents in our ductwork that had such an awful smell in our AC.We truly appreciate The Woodlands Heating and Air condition . They have great people in their company.

If you are trying to use this company for your plumbing needs, please stay away!! We have been using this company for our HVAC units during over the past two years and have been very pleased with them. All HVAC technicians who came out for services, have been always very professional, efficient, punctual and honest, especially Bryan Jones and Tyler. The receptionist has been always pleasant, efficient, polite and professional also, which is very hard to find now these days. They have never tried to oversell or overcharge for their HVAC services or products. Because of that, we replaced our two AC units with them and all process went seamlessly and was done professionally with integrity : 5 stars for HVAC department without any doubts.My issue is with this company’s newly added Plumbing department. Because of my great HVAC experience with this company, I decided to call to get an estimate for the maintenance service of my 2 and half years old Rinnai tankless water heater. I used a Rinnai specialized plumbing company from the Houston for the installation and got done the first descaling and flushing maintenance service last year with the cost of 250$ which included the travel fee.Today, two of the plumbing technicians from the Woodlands plumbing and air company came out and gave me two outrageous estimates:- 730$: for the maintenance and replacement of a valve? We have never had any issues with our 2 and half years old Rinnai tankless water heater. Why does anything need to be replaced when everything is working just fine? Anyone?- Another 399$ estimate, for descaling and flushing only without the valve replacement. I was so shocked by these pricing, I called the office and filled an ethic complaint because an average cost for the tankless water heater maintenance is between 150 to 250 $ nation wide. After this, I am definitely calling my Houston company for the second maintenance service.To summarize , if you are trying to use this company’s plumbing services because of your great experience with the HVAC services, please stay away from it and shop around for the right pricing. For your HAVAC needs, please try it. It’s too bad that this great HAVAC company has to ruin its reputation because of this newly added plumbing department.

Avoid this company. Owners price for a new 4-ton Trane was $2300 higher than 2 other bids - same identical model. Also noticed the name change. I guess they’re trying to steal customers from The Woodlands Plumbing. The real Woodlands Plumbing. I went with Air Specialists.

Probably one of the most professional companies I have encountered in years. From the time I called, to the technician calling me when he was on his way, to my experience while they were at my house. My tech was Joe and he was kind, thorough, and very professional. Highly recommended!

I had two new 5 ton Trane units and all new ductwork installed in my house in 2020. It was a unique install as my house was originally built to have 1 unit control the whole left side of the house (both upstairs and downstairs) and the other unit control the whole right side. When it was time to replace, instead I wanted a unit that would be zoned to control only the master bedroom and the entire upstairs of the house and the other unit control the rest of the downstairs. It took some designing and creative thinking to make it happen.I interviewed several companies for the job. Woodlands Heating & Air wasn’t the cheapest but also wasn’t the most either… however I felt confident they could deliver… and deliver they did! Brian was professional, knowledgeable, prompt, patient, and genuinely cares. The team was able to install 2 completely brand new systems in just 1 day. They cleaned up after themselves and really did a professional job.Perhaps what impresses me the most… I still text Brian any time I have an issue and he responds within minutes! This company treats you like a customer for life and honestly I’m willing to pay a premium for that. In Houston, the last thing you want is to live without AC and you can rest easy knowing you are in good hands should you ever have an issue.Thank you for all that you do to take care of your customers. I will continue to recommend you to all of my friends and family!

I can’t say enough about the crew who came to my house and literally untangled a hot mess of a air duct web in my attic. Having had problems with condensation and no real answers from other technicians, the group from Woodlands Plumbing & Air thoroughly diagnosed the problem and went to work with a vengeance. I have called Woodlands Plumbing & Air out for AC and they did great but this reveiw is for the recent call out and they were amazing. I had received a quote that was twice as much as they quoted me and was releived. The change was old 1970s plumbling in a shower bath conversion and they did beauitul work. I had a new unit installed in my home a couple of years ago by a different company that I would never use again. We started to notice an odor coming from the A/C when the air would come on after the heater was utilized in colder temps.I read the amazing reviews about The Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning, so I decided to give them a call to come service the unit. Brian came by and assessed what was needed. We discussed needing to cut a hole in the upstairs plenum box and have an access door installed so the coil could be cleaned. We scheduled a date & time that worked for both of us and then he left without charging me anything at all. He said we would take care of the service call fee when they did the work on our agreed upon date. Very refreshing.The day of the install, Brian showed up on time with his installer, also named Brian. Both gentlemen were very pleasant to talk with and had no problem answering any questions I had during the visit. The door was installed, coil cleaned and entire unit inside and out was checked thoroughly and serviced properly.The bottom line is that I would recommend this company to everyone. Fast, friendly, economical and more importantly, work was performed correctly and I was not pressured into buying things I did not need. On the first cold front in Houston, our heater was not working! Called at 8 AM when they opened, a guy came to our house at 9 AM and was a quick fix within 15 minutes. Was the fastest response time I have had from an AC/heating team in a long time. Was so impressed that I was able to still make it to work the same day and have our heater fixed! Low price as well for the fix!

Outstanding. I met with the operations manager, Phil, twice to discuss my needs, obtain an estimate, etc. He and one of his lead techs were there right on time both occasions. We discussed several options; he did not push me towards the highest cost options, he tried to match my needs with the best systems. He was very responsive to my email questions. I had two complete systems installed. Two install crews showed up exactly on time, and worked hard the entire day. I went into the attic with them so they could show me exactly what they did and make sure I was ok. No payment was required until all work was done. They had cloths down protecting the floors. They contacted me two days later to make sure all was well. I needed a couple of minor tweaks, and they came out quickly to make some small adjustments and all is well. I interacted with their installation crews, their technicians, their office manager, and of course Phil, and they were all very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I have no hesitation recommending them. Three of my neighbors has used them in the past with positive experiences also.

Professional, courteous, skilled, and honest services - couldnt ask for anything more. The technician wore shoe covers when entering our home without needing to ask, which was a pleasant first. Had minor issues with my AC and furnace, but I wasnt told to buy something I didnt need, and was actually recommended to get the part cheaper through Amazon. The Woodlands Heating & AC also employs technology well, made everything seamless and easy. Definitely recommend them and well be using them in the future.

Brian was able to keep our old system going (when others couldnt) until we were able to replace it. On installation day the crew arrived on time, worked diligently, and cleaned up all areas afterwards. Brian showed us how the new thermostats worked, answered all of our questions, and reviewed the invoice with us thoroughly at the end of the job. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Every person we have met has been extremely professional and honest. We just had our heater serviced today, and I was very impressed with the technician. He even took the time to clean out our AC line so I wouldnt have to worry about it in the spring. We bought our AC unit from Woodlands Heating and Air a few years ago and had a similar experience. Their prices may be a little higher than out-of-town companies (though I found the tune-up prices to be very competitive), but its worth it to have someone you trust come into your home.

We have used The Woodlands AC for our past two homes. We did a complete system replacement due to the ages of the units when we bought the homes. Both Times, the pricing was more than competitive for quality systems. Brian was our representative who explained each product and its functions in cooling/heating our homes. The units he suggested were not the most expensive, but those that would do the job right with the most return on investment.Both times the installs were set up quickly. Both times the technicians arrived on time (slightly early) and did a thorough job in replacing both the attic and outside units. Installs were about 4 hours. Job site was kept clean and technicians were clean and professional. Brian came out to oversee the installation and to answer any questions we might have.Phil, the owner, was clear and professional on detailing the products his team would install, the processes involved, and made himself available to answer any questions by proving his cell phone number to call anytime.Would highly recommend this company and will continue to use for any future AC/Heating needs.

When I called last Friday, I had already received a few quotes. The other companies were not bad, but they can not hold a candle to how we were treated from Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning. I believe Phil, the owner, answered the phone and gave me direct, no nonsense answers to my questions, without mansplaining to me. Matthew came to our home to take a look at our system and give us a quote if we needed to replace the system. He was friendly and thorough and left a folder with brochures detailing what he saw and the options offered. The crew were on time to install our new AC/ Heating system, and done within 6 hours! Matthew came before the crew started and after they were finished, to explain the new parts and show us their work. Everything went smoothly and quickly. I couldnt have asked for a better experience and it was 100% worth it.

We just had a complete system installed by Woodlands Heating & AC. Brians initial assessment and recommendations were followed by a second visit that included Phil, the operations manager. They listened to my concerns and were willing to configure the system accordingly. I respected their knowledge and trusted them to install the best system for our needs. We requested a higher end variable speed system and are extremely pleased with the results. They showed up on time on installation day with Omar and Brian leading the crew. Everyone was very friendly, efficient and careful with our home. The variable speed system is so quiet, and our house feels very comfortable. Their price was very competitive and included construction of a platform in the attic as well as reconfiguring some of the flexible ductwork. Brian spent time to explain and demonstrate all of the features of the new touchscreen thermostat. Omar and his crew did a great job with modifications to the attic space and the installation of the attic based equipment. We were very impressed with the entire experience!

After many years of band aid repairs on a 20 year old unit, it was finally time to replace instead of repair. On the advice of a neighbor, I called The Woodlands Heating and A/C with the intention of getting an estimate and beginning the shopping process for a new system. Miguel arrived promptly and provided an estimate for the replacement of the entire system, along with some suggestions for increasing efficiency. After meeting with Miguel, I immediately felt confident proceeding without even consulting another contractor. Being a very busy, single, working mom, I was unable to be present for the installation and recruited another neighbor to observe the installation. He was impressed! It has been 7 months since the install, and this past weekend Houstons weather was unseasonably cold. I awoke on Sunday morning to find that the heat would not turn on. I called and left a message, and within an hour received a return call. It was Miguel. He asked several questions, and without finding a resolution, he arrived at my home less than one hour later, tools in hand! Turns out that the roofers that were here earlier in the week had flipped the switch in the attic that turned off the entire heating unit! Miguel not only flipped the switch, but, he took the time to check and be sure the entire system was running properly and efficiently. I am very grateful for the wonderful service and exceptional value I have experienced with this company.

Woodlands Heating & AC is the best! We have had some horrible experiences with other AC companies in the past and finally found a company we can trust. We recently replaced an entire HVAC system (old system was 21 years old). Brian came to our house and took great care in explaining the ins and outs of the different options -- complete with diagrams of how the systems function. Absolutely no pressure or sales talk. He patiently and honestly answered all of our questions and concerns and offered a very competitive price point. Slightly higher than another bid we received, but Woodlands Heating & AC customer service was the deciding factor - we were willing to pay a little bit more for their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to service excellence. Our install day went seamlessly. The whole crew was polite, professional, clean and FAST - took them about 5 hours total. I had mentioned to Brian that two of our bedrooms were always warmer or cooler than the rest of the house - come to find out that the builder had split one duct between the two bedrooms. Brian had the crew add a duct line so each bedroom had one whole duct of airflow - we werent replacing ductwork, but they did this with no extra charge. We could not be more pleased with this company!

Amazing work from the team at Woodlands AC! I’ve used multiple AC companies for repairs (our units prone to failure in Creekside area based on systems installed by home builder years ago). This business checks all the boxes … responsive, professional, honest, and upholds integrity. They’re technicians are knowledgeable and thorough as they perform maintenance and repairs. I called in the morning about a possible evaporator coil failure, they came out later that day and Ruben was able to diagnose the problem. We had to replace the evaporator coil (due to leak) and they came out the next day to perform the job. They showed up on time, worked diligently to make the repair, and left without a trace (no debris, lights turned off, attic door closed). Ruben and his team did an outstanding job and I will definitely continue to give my business to The Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning!

Used the Woodlands Heating & AC for the first time and was impressed. The response time from the first call to punctually being there when they said they would was great. Had a 6 year old Lennox Evaporator Coil that was leaking which they replaced with a better unit from Trane with a longer warranty & a warranty on their work. The quality of their technicians and crew was very good and appreciated their optics in taking the time to explain what they were doing. We have had this company taking care of us for a few years now. Our AC and heating unit is getting on in years now but when the worst happens and the unit quits, Miguel quickly comes out, usually the same day, and fixes us right up. Their prices are very reasonable. I can trust Miguel. That means a lot in this type of service industry today. I know when the time comes I will need the replace the unit but I will know that when that time comes, Miguel will continue to treat us fair, with dignity and above all honesty. I was very happy with my experience with Woodlands AC. Rudy was very honest and professional and diagnosed and corrected my problem very quickly. And this is after the fact that their competitor in The Woodlands area tried to take me for a brand new unit telling me that the evaporator coil was leaking which is on a back order and will take months to receive so my solution is to replace the whole system.

I needed a total gut job of my current a/c, heater and duct work and got at least 4-5 bid back in February. All of the companies explained how they would put a new system in, but Brian at The Woodlands Heating and Air had the best plan, price and warranty. And I wanted a Trane. Brian and his mega crew came out the end of February and installed everything in one day. The system works great and I have more air flow in all of the rooms because of Brians plan. I love it.

Just had my 24 year old system replaced. The job was done with due diligence and when I pointed out some issues, it was corrected without any push back. I went with Trane variable speed system after talking to number of vendors. They also had a very competitive bid right from the start, I did not have to bargain. I am witting for the second system on my home to fail, and will be calling Bryan for a bid.Update 2/1/2021:I have had to replace the thermostat two more times after the install, and call the office, no questions asked and replaced it in no time. I also called them to move the thermostat and the crew came and did a good job of moving it from one side of the room to the other side.I would recommend them any time.

Had a leakage issue coming from our residential HVAC unit in our ceiling. Called the morning of to see when we would be able to have someone come out to service the issue. Within a couple of hours, a rep arrived at our house. We were originally scheduled for “sometime after noon”. Matt was early. After looking at the problem, he provided us with a diagnosis. Thirty minutes later, he was done. Apparently we had a clogged drain line which caused the overflow. We paid a VERY fair price for his visit. Professional! Honest! SUPER nice! I highly recommend these guys.

I purchased a full Trane HVAC system, both AC and Furnace a couple of months ago. I haven’t had a single problem with the install or the equipment so far. I seldom write reviews, but I put a lot of energy into vetting contractors. I got quotes from 4 area providers, checked out their insurance, licensing and insisted on like for like quotes/scope of work. The woodlands AC came out on top. I could not have been more pleased with the work Phil, Brian and team did nor me. The price was fair/competitive, the install was thorough and of solid quality. * 2022 UPDATE *I bought a new home about 4 years ago and had the Woodlands AC replace most of the system -- everything in attic and one of the 2 big units in the side yard with a Trane. The other unit was a 5 year old Carrier and seemed fine to keep a while longer. The motor went out a couple days ago, and these guys went out of their way again to find a solution since the unit I have doesnt have any motors available right now. Par for the course, these guys come through and it even ended up costing a little less than the original quote - imagine that! So instead of making me wait 3-4 weeks to get a specific motor, they helped me right away and saved me money. Thank you again - as always you guys rock. I have been using the Woodlands Heating & A/C for about 10 years now, and have had the guys out several times for various reasons due to faults in the builder equipment installed in my home. Each and every time, every one of their employees is extremely respectful to me and my family members, and have always gone over and above with whatever project they are working on for me. This week my upstairs A/C unit finally quit working, and the rep showed me a few different options to help me decide what was best for my budget and took the time to discuss with me short term vs. long term options. Then they left me with the paper work, and he even told me to feel free to get a 2nd and 3rd opinion if Id like. As always, their prices were very fair, and they allowed me time to discuss with my wife what would work best for us -- unlike others who use high pressure tactics to try and force you to buy something expensive that you dont need. AC went out in Creekside, they had someone available same day. They explained the quick fix vs the long term fix plus the estimated time frame we had till the big fix would have to be made. Completely transparent and not out to make the highest dollar. We ended up having to get a new AC and they did everything to help save cost but providing the best quality fix. Highly recommend this company, you won’t regret it!!

The reason I chose The Woodlands Heating and A/C are the reasons below:1. First, Brian provided honest and fair pricing. He quoted a Trane 16 seer 5-ton system. He didn’t try to up sale me zoning or higher seer ratings. He was aware of what I wanted and respected my decision.2. The 10 year parts warranty is standard, but the labor warranty is variable depending on which company you choose. Another reason I chose The Woodlands Heating and A/C. They provided an extended labor warranty at no additional price. Plus, this company has been around a long time with great reviews. A long labor warranty with a company that goes out of business is worth nothing. These guys have been around a long time and only service the Woodlands and Spring area. If you do need service they can arrive quickly because they don’t over extend their workforce.3. The installation is most important and they don’t use subcontractors. They employ their own installers. Let’s stop here…The installation was amazing. Jamie and his team are knowledgeable, pleasant, detailed, on time and friendly. AC went out and already had a leaking coil unit so I decided to replace my old 4.0 ton Rheem 13 SEER A/C . I needed to get quick service as my wife was 36 weeks pregnant at the time. I called around and had three different companies quote me for replacing the (outside) compressor and the (indoor) coil. With 3 quotes in hand I had to make a decision quickly (remember the pregnant wife is at home all day in the heat). Out of the three vendors, Phil, the owner of The Woodlands Heating and Air Conditioning was very helpful with cost options for designing a new A/C system for the house. There is also up to $1500 tax credit for systems equal and over 16 SEER rating and he factored that into the options for new systems. I decided on a new 16 SEER Maytag system and they came to install it the next day. The system was all stainless steel and looks great outside my house. The installation crew, Lee and Stephen, installed the system perfectly and took pride in their work to leave us with a beautiful, efficient system that will save us money on our electric bill and last for years to come. The company has 2 years labor warranty standard and the Maytag system has a 12 year warranty leaving me with peace of mind knowing I wont be paying for new parts in the near future. Aside from the company being highly professional, they were very personable and great with my dog Cooper. They showed up when they said they will show up and cleaned up very well after themselves. I would recommend them to anyone needing HVAC service or new installation / replacement of old equipment and therefor give them 5 stars.

We had a 3 ton Trane unit put in a few weeks ago and its been wonderful. The consultation was informative and frank. The install was efficient, took them 1/2 a day. We most definitely will be working with The Woodlands Heating and A/C when our other unit needs replacing.

I am writing tlhis on behalf of my husband. I had to call this company as my a/c stopped working on Wednesday night. My husband thought it was a problem with the thermostat but by Thursday night the ac was not working again. I called on Friday morning and by 12:30 Jason was at my door. Jason checked everything and within 15 minutes was able to tell me what the problem was . He showed me the part that needed replacing and explained why. After replacing that part, he checked to make sure everything was working efficiently. I am completely happy with Jasons customer service skills and his professionalism . The Woodlands Heating & Air crew is top notch! They are fair, consistent, clean, punctual, set realistic expectations and respectful. I went out for bid on two new units for a variety of makes/models 2+ years ago. The Woodlands Heating & Air had the most competitive bid from a pricing perspective + best product + best warranty. Two years later, the same still holds true. They did not try to build a ticket by telling me they needed to reroute our ducts, add new return air vents, add air vents and more. They really are what you see is what you get. They are honest, put everything in writing and very respectable technicians. They registered all of the warranties for both HVAC units and controls, automatically applied dealer rebates + Entergy rebates without me having to do anything. My family definitely recommends Phil and his crew at The Woodlands Heating & Air, even if you dont have a Trane unit.Heres my review from 2+ years ago: Outstanding and prompt service! Although we have a builder grade Lenox HVAC system and they specialize in Trane, The Woodlands Heating & Air came out to service our system and spent a lot of time searching for the proper Lenox parts. They could have easily tried to sell us two new Trane HVAC units, but they were upfront and honest in the simple repair that needed to be performed. They will definitely have my business when the two units do go out!!!

Exceptional experience and service. We recently moved and our home inspection listed a couple of minor fixes with our two units. We also had questions about cleaning all of the ducts. Great experience. A/C went out over the weekend. Called at 8:00 AM Monday morning. The A/C was back on by 9:30, same day. 90 minutes on a Monday morning, at a very fair price. This is the first time I have needed an HVAC company since moving to The Woodlands, and these folks will have all my future business, hands down.

After dealing with home warranty for couple of weeks and boiling in my house during the hottest time of the year, I decided to put new units and stop the nightmare. I contact home advisor and right away my phone start ringing( never give your phone to them).Probably met over 7 different representatives from local and not so local companies, some guys were coming from over 80 miles away ( HomeAdvisor). I couldn’t get the feeling that I could trust any of them, so I start googling and reading reviews. Called TWHAC and couple hours later Brian was at my door. Very nice guy knowledgeable and self confident quickly explained all of my options. Even though their price from 1-10 was 5 I felt like I could trust them with my $14k investment. I had brand new HACS working in my house on the following day. Thank you guys.

Phil and Miguel did another outstanding job! Ive had all three A/C units (condensers and coils) replaced, two after builder-grade failures and the third pre-emptively. All three times, the technicians were professional, friendly, and immaculate - booties and drop cloths to protect all interior floors. These installations were competitively priced (Carrier) and completed quickly. Capacitors have been replaced a couple of times in the last 3-4 years, always immediately and under warranty. I had one drain line clog and that was also quickly addressed under warranty. Recently, I had a complete new system put into a remodel: furnace, A/C, flexible ducts, registers (Trane). Phil explained the pros and cons of different equipment and never pressured me for something I did not need. I did go top-of-the-line variable speed furnace and condenser since it made sense with the smaller size of the remodel house. Miguel and Brian had to add several return ducts and several supply ducts to improve air flow. Everything was coordinated with the other trades and Phil was onsite to ensure their work did not hold up any other contractors. The level of communication and quality of work is exceptional! I wish all of our remodel contractors were as professional as Woodlands A/C!

The team arrived on time, were polite & professional, cleaned up , vacuumed the floor, and provided a detailed walkthrough of the installation and operation of the equipment. 5 stars!!

We bought our last house a year ago and had them put in an entirely new system, inside and out. Phil actually talked us out of buying a more expensive system as we didnt need it. Imagine that, a company who wants to get you the CORRECT system for your needs, not just make as much money as possible off of you. Long story short, thanks to Brian and the woodlands HVAC, I saved $3600!!!I got a ac tune-up from AIRFLOW(will never go back to them again!!!) and they said my coil has bad leakage with a short of 3lbs freon and capacitor is bad as well. They want me to need to replace the coil for $3400 and $200 for the other repair after discount!!I was shocked and then I called woodlands HVAC to see how much they quote. The manager quickly sent Brain to my house since its very close.He carefully checked and inspected everything and its actually NO PROBLEM AT ALL! Brain also added just a little freon for me for free and recommend me to have a check back in 3-4 months to double check it. Absolutely professional and honest! Already recommended to my friends and 5 stars!

Earlier this week a lightning strike rendered our A/C inoperative and August in Texas makes that a DEFCON 1 crises. At 7:00 PM I left a VM with Woodlands HVAC hoping to get a Tech here tomorrow when they checked VMs next morning. Phil (the owner) called me back on his cell a short while later and recommended things I could do to fix it, and said if still no-go to call him and hed get a tech out tomorrow. Well, his advice worked and I think this is customer service way beyond the normal call of duty. Another reason why theyve been my A/C pros for the last 7 or 8 years. Very Pleased!

Unbelievably good service. I am a new customer and they came within 2 hours when I called with NO AC.. fixed it and only charged me for the service fee to show up. Cant beat that. Matt was very capable.

Miguel came out to assist us. He was extremely polite and courteous and went straight to work in finding our issue so that he could do what he could to resolve it ASAP. The issue was pinpointed and a same-day fix put in place. Can’t ask for better than that!

OMG! I had the best experience ever. I work night shift. I got off work Tuesday morning and went to sleep. I got up around 3pm and had a rain-forest in my house. There was water everywhere dripping from the ceiling. I had to go without air conditioning on Wednesday because they had to dry out the walls and take down the ceiling to let it dry out. After that was done, I asked them if I could call an air conditioning company and they said Yes . I called The Woodlands heating and air conditioning company. The girl that answered the phone was just coming in and she was so sweet. I was thinking it would take days for them to come out. She made an appointment right away. She said someone would call me back. Boy, was she right! Brian N. called back within minutes and was on his way to my house. He came out and was so professional. He went into the attic and did his magic and now my house is cold again. I had a bedroom in the back that was hot all the time, he went up there and said the damper was closed....easy fix for him since I do not know anything about dampers. I cannot say enough about his actions or his advice that he gave me. He did not tell me a lot of crap and was honest about everything. In other words he did not try to sell me something that I did not need. I could go on and on about his customer service but I will just stop here and I hope his boss realizes that he has some great employees working there. Hey boss...take them out to lunch or give them a bonus, I know that is what my employees would say....lol!

They advertise Get it fixed in a flash. I certainly can vouch for that! They responded very quickly to an unscheduled appointment and their service level was outstanding. One of the best service providers in our area.
