IM older with health issues. The way. I was treated & spoken to, made me feel as if they were helping or taking care of their own mothers. Their kindness & respect made me feel very special! This type of customer service is hard to find in this day and age! John was very good to keep me informed. Even though the shop was really swamp with repairs, John got my van in & out in record time! Thank you very much to all involved (the team) for GREAT service!

Steve Morris, Shelby Schulze and Victoria were great ! They kept me informed about the repair progress along the way. The repairs were as speedy as possible and professionally done. I would recommend them to anybody and I would certainly use them again though I pray that wont be necessary.

Truck towed from library parking lot. Yes there was some kind of festival. A lot of festival goers parked there. No way to know who was library patron and who was not. They towed with zero regard. Truck was in park. I know they drug it onto and off of flatbed with no regard. While calling to find where my vehicle was being towed to after knocking on wrecker door only to have him speed off with my truck. (Wpukd have resolved issue immediatley peacefully) I Watched another driver also pull a Hyundai onto his wrecker sideways and knock off pieces of that persons fender well and lower rear bumper of car. I will look for the owner of that car and inform them of the damage. I have pics of it and driver that damaged it. Posted with review. Was told by a nice woman I spoke to on the phone they know how to just drag your vehicle without damage it. That is not true. Not meant to be drug. Their drivers dont have go jacks and unhooking linkage is vandalism, popping locks is burglary. Without evidence photograph of violation and proper reporting to local law enforcement illegal. How does anyone prove who was or was not at the library.Dishonest, bottom feeding behavior at best. To top it off, Had my nine month old grand daughter with me. Make a living. But do it right and fair. I will be calling the office to speak to management Monday. Will remove if remedied and assured the Hyundai owner is aware of damage caused to their vehicle. I will find them and verify. Wont hold my breath. Financially for me it aint the money aint a big deal, so Not a killer for me, But to all of those who cant buy groceries this week. Be proud of yourselves.

Great service from Ethan, second blow outs of the day first time having to call for roadside Ethan was professional and was extremely knowledgeable on how to handle the situation at hand. He did get called to a wreck and asked if I minded him running to pick the other vehicle up and when I said not a problem he let me borrow his tools and finish getting my tire changed out. Ethan also met me at the tire show to make sure I was back on the road. Very professional will definitely use again.

Aramis Robledo picked me up wit great service.Once he picked me up a hospital cop tried to stop him from doing his job because she thought it was a repo. She thought she was some hot stuff trying to “do her job” and I’ve waited patiently for Amaris service and tried to put a damper on my night at 2am. Luckily it was all taken care of after her supervisor came out and cleared the air. He was great service and very professional

Used Towing service from Roadside assistance and Paul the driver was great. My cars Park brake was stuck and he got it on the truck and off the truck because he knew what he was doing. Also broke down at the car wash and he was able to maneuver that long truck like a champ. Very friendly and respectful young man.Thanks Paul for your great service in Cleveland/Splendora area.

I would like to ‘say thank you very much’ to Mr. Walter Arenas, who showed up at cold night to help me change the tire. My tire was flattened, I called insurance, waiting for hours but no one showed up. Mr. Walter stopped when he saw my car and came to check with care. I was so happy when he helped me change the tire at no cost with positive energy. I really appreciate his help!

Our daughter’s car was hit by an SUV, horrible phone call to receive. Double rollover on a busy intersection due to lateral impact on her side of the car. Milstead Towing arrived and took their time to safely remove our car from the public roads and take it to their holding facility in Spring, TX. After the dust settles and we could think straight we made it to the holding facility to pay for the services and do our part to get this part of the situation taken care of. Emotionally challenging to finally see the mangled mess of metal left after your child has been in such a horrific accident, but Ms Melody too such amazing care of us at the office. Lord bless this company and their wonderful people. She was just a kind heart when we needed it most. She explained the process and what our next steps were and even gave us some time to talk to her manager Larry and allow us to get our belongings out of the car. Just a blessing when we needed it most. Larry was truly a gentleman and I’ll always remember his words of sympathy and encouragement. And this is how a horrible situation birthed and amazing customer service interaction with good Texas people. I just can’t Thank y’all enough. Stay blessed

Shady business… Please be careful at the 242 and 45 Burger King because they have setup a “tow trap”. Milstead has a contract with Redline towing and the Burger King at 242 and 45. First, The Burger King parking lot has signs that saying they will tow. I understand that BUT the tow truck driver stages myself where he can see the lot. I was going to the subway next door to the Burger King. I drove through the subway lot and it was completely full and the Burger King lot was empty. I parked legally in the Burger King lot because it was the only place I could park legally in the area. By the time I walked in and ordered and walked out he had my trucks front tires off the ground and he’s telling me $135 to put it down now or $350 to pick it up at the tow yard. I was in the subway for 6 minutes. I know it was wrong, even the MCP officer that I called said it was wrong but he couldn’t do anything about it. Did not get my money back but I will.

Professional!! quick, they always get the job done and get me back on the road. do what they say, very up front and easy to deal with and some of the best fresh ground coffee its amazing. those hats are clean too they wont just give em too you thoe gotta be a regular

I have used Steve Meredith a few times to tow both my 1965 Mustang and my F250. I cant speak highly enough for how amazing he is. His honesty and integrity puts him far above others in his same line of business. His professionalism and the care he takes in everything he does is second to none. Give this guy a call first when you need a tow.

I had a blower motor on my Tiguan stop working. MILSTEAD found what was wrong and completed the task for a lot less than the dealer and some other shops. Jim was friendly and worked with me. I was treated like a friend unlike other shops when quoting the work. Will go back to Jim at Milstead if I need any more repairs.

Keaton was so helpful and kind. He went above and beyond assisting us with our tow. We were dead in the water, stuck at the airport, after business hours and Keaton got is towed and out of our predicament. Hes an asset to your business.

Called to have my 2015 Lancer towed to shop, Moon showed up and asked what was wrong with my car. Told him it wouldn’t start and I purchased a new battery. But it still wouldn’t start, Moon asked if he could take a look and I said yes, he found a loose connection and the car started right up !!!! That’s what I call service !!! So, very polite and professional!!!! Thank you Moon !!!!!

AAA left me stranded on the side of the road at 2:00am for over 3 hours. When I called Milstead, they were there within 30 mins. And had me loaded and on the way to my mechanics in 7 minutes.

Mr. Stephen Meredith was exceptional. He came to my rescue and went straight to work with no dilly dally or hassle. He was efficient and proficient with his craft. He helped me in just a nick of time so that I can be on my merry way to work. It was faster than jimmy johns fast. He even helped me understand what to do if I ever find myself in a similar situation. I really appreciate his diligence and speed.

Amazing 🤩 I had a near miss tragedy on 45N when my car started shaking violently and then skidding when I hit the brakes. I managed to pull over at the shoulder of the freeway and 10 minutes later a tow truck from Milstead showed up and offered to tow my vehicle to the nearest parking lot for free or to the Milstead shop even though it was after hours. I was super skeptical at first but decided to just go for it because the shop is 10 minutes from home. The tow personnel Walter mounted my car onto his tow truck and proceeded and to take me home which I was super grateful for. He also let me take a picture of his badge and everything just for my piece of mind. In the morning Jim reached out to me and told me what all my car needed, he even sent me a full report and pictures of their findings and we agreed on what was to be done and the estimate. They offered to send a shuttle to pick me up from home if I needed a ride there, which I accepted and in less than 30 minutes after he called to tell me my vehicle was ready my ride was there. I’m super grateful for this place, they took good care of my vehicle and kept me informed the whole time. The customer service and professionalism was top tier. Thank you Milstead and team!!

When I called they were very courteous and gave me estimate. I scheduled the tow and they kept me in the loop the whole time; it was quick and easy. I had a bad experience while driving home from work, my brakes completely went out with a leak. Steven R offered me a free tow to the nearest exit which I was extremely grateful for since I had no brakes at all .

We had a load shift last night. I reached out to Milstead towing for assistance. After speaking to them on the phone they asked that I email them some pictures. I emailed them pictures and later when I still didnt have a response I called back in and was put on hold for a long time. I hung up and followed up again by email. 16 hours later I still have no response.

Milstead always treats me right. When my A/C went out they were one of the more reasonably priced shops in town. Milstead is also outfitted with master mechanics that are able to quickly and accurately diagnose problems. They don’t beat around the bush and I’ve always got a honest diagnosis and quote from them.

Couple days ago I had a blowout while traveling to a friend’s house I left and returned the next morning My truck was towed and pulled to the next exit It’s a crazy long story but I was assisted by two of the drivers A black dude and a white dude I apologize for not knowing yall names The worst part for me is that I was broke I couldnt offer anything All they asked for was a positive review I was stranded for awhile If you guys see this just know from the bottom of my heart I appreciate yall going over and beyond for me

Top tier experience with Milstead Automotive! I noticed a fluid leak Wednesday morning and had my vehicle towed there. By Wednesday afternoon theyd diagnosed the issue. By Thursday morning it was fixed at a very reasonable price, with drop off service to my office because I couldnt get away to pick it up. They even gave it a wash and vacuum. Such great service from Brian in their service department. Highly recommend!

The guys here at milstead automotive were awesome and very helpful with my truck I had a a wheel hub fail and I caused a good amount of damage to my suspension but they stayed in contact with me and kept me updated of what was going on and fixed the problem very professional clean environment I will be back for future repairs.

Went Milstead as a new customer, looking to just get my battery replaced in my Ram 1500. They were totally fine with that, friendly, quoted a reasonable price and helped me get back up and running within an hour with a new battery, best part no frills or surprises! Will be coming back for any other regular needs.

This establishment always deserves five stars for service. They found my brakes to be in rough shape and because I pull a fifth wheel I had the issue fixed. Dropped it off one day and completed the same day. Jim has been my go to person for years and continues to be that for the future. Well done.

When my 2015 Honda Odyssey stopped along the highway snd would not restart we were towed to Milstead Service Center in Conroe, TX as the closest AAA approved repair shop. The entire experience with them was top notch. Communication regarding status of problem diagnosis by phone and text was very efficient, letting me know things that had been ruled out as well as potential issues and estimated repair costs. It turned out to be timing belt failure which was repaired day 2 followed by further testing to ensure no cylinder, valve or engine damage . On day 3 I picked it up running like new . Price for diagnostics and timing belt replacement was very fair. Owner followed up with text following day to make certain I was satisfied with the job. If I lived in the area I would have all of my car service done here!

Patrick was a life saver today for my children & I. We were on the tollway waiting for GEICO to send a tow truck to us because we had a flat tire. It started pouring rain & thunderstorming so bad we were so scared & in a dangerous spot. He pulled up getting soaked by the rain & asked if we needed help and moved us out of harms way off the road to the nearest gas station. I truly feel like he saved us. I tried over & over to offer him a tip as he did this free of charge but he refused. Saying not all heroes wear capes & he was just a blessing for us. The world need more acts of kindness & people like Patrick in it. If ever needed again my family & I will always reach out to Milstead in the future! Thanks again🫶🏾

Israel totally took care of my Lexus. I had taken it for an insurance claim to a certified Lexus dealer in Dallas a few years back, and Israel informed me that they never used 0E M parts as they assured me that they did. A few months ago the bumper started to pull away from my car and I was going to have to pay out of pocket to have it fixed. Israel and his men reattached my bumper and made it work and look like nothing ever happened. I will definitely come back to Milstead for any work needed.

After sitting on top of I45 north rankin rd. Overpass for over 3 hours waiting for our Progressive insurance roadside wrecker on this passed Thursday, Transtar dispatched Patrick from your location and promptly rescued me with the help of Deputy Parker of the Harris county Sherrifs office. Neither one would let me help load the motorcycle onto the truck.Patrick was very nice and accommodating. He delivered my bike as well as me safley to to Willis and I greatly appreciate his prompt service.Employees like Patrick are a rare find these daysBe sure to give him a big atta boy pat on the back for me. I would highly recommend them for your towing needs.

Bryan at Milstead was able to get my vehicle in, and had it taken a looked at within less than a day. He then provided the information that was necessary to fix and gave recommendations on what to maintain. Thankful to have found this shop and brought my vehicle there. It’s back running good as new.

We had work done on the windshield of our 2019 F150. Brian told us that they would try to save our windshield if possible because it didnt have any cracks in it. We are very satisfied with the work they did. Brian was very helpful and professional.

We purchased our motorhome 3 years ago and have always received professional and quick state inspections. We tried to get it inspected in 2 other cities but it didn’t work out so we made the 2 hour drive just to come to Milstead.

My wife brought her Honda Odyssey into a reputable shop and was told that she needed to replace her engine (which had less than 80,000 miles on it). We decided to get a second opinion with Greg at Milstead Automotive and are so happy that we did...turns out that we did not need a new engine after all. Instead of paying more than $10,000 for a new engine, we paid only a fraction of the price to replace the parts that were causing the engine malfunction. My wifes car drives just fine now. Thank you Greg and Milstead Automotive for your great work! This is a classic example of why we should always get second opinions.

One of my tires went flat whilst driving on the freeway. Soon after pulling over, a Milstead truck saw me and pulled in behind to offer me a free tow off of the freeway. The driver Steven R made short work of it and was very nice.

Greg in mechanical and Chris collision were an absolute dream to work with. The repairs to my grandsons car were completed promptly and excellently. After 2 other businesses turned me away for a simple inspection, I looked at a map & realized Milstead was only a few blocks away. I called & they said to come on over. I was super pleased with the prompt customer service over the phone to troubleshoot ideas and how quickly I could bring my car in for service. Came in Friday for issues with my car overheating. Staff was extremely friendly. I was provided with detailed information every step of the way. Milstead automotive service center is what customers should expect from their service provider. Knowledgeable, respectful, trustworthy, and clean. My service writer, Jim, made sure I understood the parts and repairs and, was updated during the entire process. I never had a question that wasn’t answered. My technician Manny, did an excellent job with the repairs and reassembling. It is clean and looks like it should! Thank you to everyone at Milstead for making the repair process a lot easier!

If you can avoid getting a Tow from these people, I would highly suggest it. We have been waiting 2 hours and 43 minutes for a Tow truck. There was originally a 1 hour and 30 minute wait. We called to get an ETA and was told the driver was 10 minutes away. Called 40 minutes after and Nikki the dispatcher stated you told us that about a hour ago and she stated he was behind a wreck but if you’re behind a wreck it still doesn’t take 30/50 minutes to get to our location. This is the second time we have dealt with them and it’s always the same thing.I told my husband to cancel when he told he was going through them, I wish he would have listened.

I went in for an electrical issue that would have cost likely thousands through a dealership, but was incredibly affordable here. I was assisted by Bryan the entire way and was given updates daily, which was greatly appreciated. I loved the way him and the staff handled everything and my car was given back to me in a very timely manor. Thank you all!! We have used Milstead automotive since we moved here 6 years ago. We have always been happy with their service but this last time they went above and beyond! I have a 2015 Ford Explorer. For most of its life it would die when you were driving it. It would always start right back up. No one, anywhere knew how to fix it. It took a while with Milstead but they figured it out! I dont know the name of the mechanic that figured it out but kudos to that young man!! Jim Lucker was the person I dealt with and he was awesome. He kept me up on everything. This problem my car had was very persistent but they kept trying until they figured it out! I want to thank them so much for not giving up. I will continue to use Milstead and so will my children and anyone else who will listen!

Im always wary of mechanics because of past experiences where theyve blown problems WAY out of proportion in the name of getting more money out of me. Milstead is now officially the worst perpetrator Ive ever dealt with. I came in with an oil issue, and after charging me a pretty hefty diagnostic fee, they came back to tell me the whole engine needed replacing and it would run me anywhere from $5000 to $8000. Thank God I got a second opinion, because it turned out to be a faulty sensor that I got fixed for $100. At best, these people dont know what theyre doing. At worst, they are the sterotype of car shops that Ive learned to look out for: taking advantage of those who are uneducated about the workings of their car and trying to squeeze them for every penny they can. Avoid at all (far too high) costs.

Steven was awesome! Quiet literally our hero! I was traveling to Galveston for my cruise when my tire poped. I called my insurance to send help. They quoted and hour to an hour and a half. Not even 15 mins after setting up that request. Steven pulls up and helps us! Come to find out, he was not the road side assistance we called. That it was his job to help those on the side of the road, within his area. Steven helped fix our tire and gave us a tow to the next exit, which happened to be discount tire. Super greatful for this man. He kept my vacation rolling. And he was a great converstionist. 🤣

Wonderful atmosphere with very professional employees. EVERYONE was smiling. Bryan Kelly helped me. Answered all types of questions about my car. Very gracious!!!!!Waiting area had the most comfortable seats. Easy to find. There are large signs printed in bright red lettering as you turn on Hawthorne until you reach the main entrance to the shop. You cant get lost.I truly recommend this business; their repair area is organized and very clean. You will get the best service!!!!!!

I brought my car in for an oil change before a weekend trip. While there, a battery issue was discovered and a new battery was installed along with the oil change service. I was able to enjoy my trip with the peace of mind of knowing Milstead had me covered. They are always reliable, conscientious, affordable, and friendly. In early November 2022 I was on my way to the Spring area driving I45. My car overheated and died. I was recommended to call Milstead auto and have been so pleased with their work.They own their own wreckers and towed my car to their shop. My engine had overheated and after a thorough inspection, they determined I would need a new engine due to blown head gasket and coolant backing up into the engine. They quote me a comprehensive price for a replace engine with a bit less mileage than the original. The final invoice was no bigger than the quote and turnaround was about 5 days.The manager of this shop and all of their staff is super knowledgeable and easy to work with. I would definitely use them again.

We have been using this location for about 5 years for our Business and personal vehicles. We have been very satisfied. The staff is amazing (Gregg Bruce). The location is hidden but is a huge facilty. They have well trained crew that is curtious and professional. We will continue to use them and are highly recommended.

Milstead Automotive did an amazing job with my vehicle! The day after I dropped my vehicle off, a large storm hit and knocked all the power lines down. Not only did they get the parts in to fix my vehicle but they got everything fixed and the car back on the road in a little over a day. I was expecting the worst given I had a timing belt failure but Milstead did amazing work for a fair price. Highly recommend and will be using in the future.

Absolutely fantastic service. I called right when the shop opened on a Monday morning and they had my vehicle towed in and repaired in a matter of hours. They picked us up to come get the vehicle when it was finished as well. Every person I spoke to from towing to repairs was so polite and kind. Highly recommend.

Ive used Milstead across all of my family vehicles for over 10 years. They have always been courteous, patient, honest, and fairly priced. I honestly cannot recommend them enough. Here are a couple examples of their customer service: I had an issue that turned out to be a Ford warranty issue. I had already taken my vehicle to the dealer to get this addressed but they told me it wasnt covered. Upon taking my car to Milstead for service they told me that there was a recall on my vehicle and that it should be covered by Ford. I explained that I was already informed by the dealer that it wouldnt be covered. They then took it upon themselves to call the dealers service department and set them straight with details on the recall. Another time they had my car in for service and I called in for an update as I needed it to travel to a funeral across town. As soon as they figured out my problem, they offered to drive me out there themselves. Im a customer for life.

They patiently listened to my entire list of things my car was doing, instead of rushing to a conclusion. Then they checked my electrical system, let me know the problem and fixed it really quickly. They even took the time to tell me about some problems that might be coming up. All in all, they provided fast friendly service!

I had a really great experience considering this was a totally unexpected event that frustrated my whole life. The tow truck driver, Sam, was fun. Hes a great conversationalist and I felt safe. When we arrived at the yard he dropped my Jeep inside a bay because I had the doors off.They called me early the next morning and gave a very clear explanation on what the issue was and anticipated costs. The cost was extremely reasonable and it was repaired and ready to go by 1pm.My Jeep runs like new!

Stephen with Milstead Automotive was working with the Harris County Tow & Go service when I had a tire blow out on I45. Stephen towed my car off of the highway and changed the tire. He was very nice, professional and made me feel at ease. He was quick and efficient. I was still able to make it to the appointments I had.

The Tow and Go program is wonderful! I got a flat tire on I-45. While I was waiting on the shoulder for AAA, Tow and Go showed up and changed my tire for free. My technician was so kind and helpful, he even aired up my donut tire more! I hope every county can get this program!

My car stopped on my children and I called to have Milstead come out and they are nothing short of amazing. Because the pickup was so late and I had 2 small kids they said I could leave the car and they will get it. The gate was locked ( even though it wasnt suppose to b) and they couldnt get to it but they stayed and worked through all this issues. The driver and dispatcher was awesome. Very professional and caring.

I had my 2016 Infiniti QX70 serviced at Milstead Automotive. They did a great job with my vehicle, everything was performed exactly how they promised and their prices were much better than the Infiniti dealership. I highly recommend them

Made a mistake by parking in the wrong spot but that doesn’t give Jason Murray the drive the right to disrespect a woman that’s trying to help with the situation! Milstead / Redline Auto Recovery are crooks for charging storage fee’s when I made it to the tow yard before my car was dropped, in fact the lady at the front desk asked if that was my car when the driver was coming in and I told her to have the driver to stop. There was no need for them to “store” my car. but as soon as they got there money they “closed” the gate to make it seem as if my car was “stored”. Bunch of crooks that has cornered the market.

My wife had a blow out on I-45 in a very unsafe place. She was stuck on the skinny shoulder with our 11 month old son. We called USAA, they sent a tow truck and when he arrived, he said it was too unsafe and left my wife and 11 month there. Soon after I arrived, Steven R, from Milstead Automotive, just happened to be driving by. He stopped, changed the tire for FREE and made sure we were all safe and we able to get on our way. I can’t say enough as to how much we appreciate what he did. Thank you guys for everything.

Repairs were delayed a week with very inaccurate and very little communication attempts. This caused my financing to be closed out and you can imagine they called 5x a day when their payment was at stake. If they put more effort into customer service during the process and not afterwards only their business would be better run. I bought a used transmission and was informed that the fluid smelled just as burnt as my old transmission. They were going to get another option and would keep me informed. I called a day later and they were already putting the same replacement transmission (that had issues) in without any communication with me. They do provide a warranty and said to just let them know if there are issues and they would warranty the work and parts (which means I might loose my vehicle for another 2 weeks). Very unlikely to use them again (except when this transmission fails and they replace it under warranty).

Jim is the best , so friendly, respectful and knows his job perfectly and understand clients necessities. I couldn’t be there before shop closing time, he offered to pick me up so I can get my car. Thank you so much Jim. I will definitely recommend your place.

This place was great! Greg and the young lady (forgot her name) were very kind and professional in the process. Quick work. Very efficient!

Have to actually give them a star to post this. Came in to replace all brake pads and rotors from a recommendation. After two weeks it started to make loud squeaking noises. Took it back later in the month because I live across town. They found defective parts and replaced the front. A week later it made the same noises again. Took it back the second time and all they did was clean it. Not even a week later it made the same noises and took it back the third time. They replaced the rear set and told me that this will be the last time they will service my brakes. They talked to me like I was stupid. They told me this was normal and that if a car sit for a day it will make these squeaking noise. Let me note… I bought this new 2018 car and this is the first time I replace my brakes and rotors. I am in sales and drive all over Houston and weekend games for my child. Don’t tell me this is normal and that your service is life time warranty and then tell me you will not honor your warranty. MY CAR IS STILL MAKING THE SAME NOISES. I also made sure I wasn’t the only person hearing the loud squeal.

Oil change, lube and a general check up. Everything looks ok. I have been totally pleased with the things they have done for the car. I have found them to be thorough, honest, dependable and reasonable. Oil changes, general check ups, sensors, burned out lights, tire balance and repair, front end alignments... Went in to get a wheel bearing replaced that another shop told me needed to be replaced. Took to Milstead for another option and price. They gave me the price ( cheaper than first) BUT said it doesn’t need to be changed. I explained the noise and they test drove and put on rack and found that the real problem was the ball joints…. Along with the front tires having some cupping. They replaced both side and did tire rotation and FIXED the real issue. Highly recommend these guys.

I got a binder stuck under my car on the highway, and wasnt able to remove it myself. While I was waiting for my tow truck, Stephen pulled up and was able to lift my car and get the piece out in no time and he did this free of charge! My sons car had issues with his battery/alternator on Interstate 45 southbound early Thursday morning 08/17. He broke down on the shoulder. I had a good experience at Milstead. People were friendly, service was reasonably quick, mechanics seem competent. I will be back. I have used both their collision center and the automotive repair center. Since they are a larger business, car rental places are used to working with them. You can have Enterprise pick up your rental after you have picked up your own vehicle without your needing to be present. You could also have them bring you a car, although I have not needed to do that.

I had a rear tire blowout on I-45N (Spring) at night. I wasn’t on the road shoulder five minutes when Tisha with Milstead Automotive showed up behind me to safely tow my car off the highway and then install the spare tire. Exceptional service with highest regard to safety.

Informed of the issue & cost via phone & text message. Repairs completed in less than 24 hours at a reasonable cost. Only place we take our cars.

Much thanks to a particular tow operator by the name of Steven R! I was stuck on the highway which wasn’t the safest place to have a blown tire! Steven stopped just to check if everything was okay and ended up helping me put on my spare. If not for Steven I would have been waiting on the highway shoulder for over an hour. Today he was a gift from God

Our SUV decided to end its work day early on a busy street in front of our sons school when we tried to pick him up for the day. I put in a request for roadside through my insurance and a Milstead truck came to tow us. They were very nice. Truck was clean and in good shape. Insurance recommended a different shop but we decided to go to Milstead. Great decision.It was late evening so the were close to closing but they were able to secure our vehicle in their lot. Office is very nice as well and clean. Also has water and coffee if the needed. They were able to get us home for the evening and let us know what to expect for repairs.They called us early the next morning to provide results and cost. It was reasonable and they let us know they could have our vehicle ready that afternoon. Thankfully it wasnt an extensive repair but did require a part that had to be collected directly from the manufacturer. The process was all really efficient and smooth and they send updates via text.They were done at the time they said they would be and had driver here to pick up up shortly after. Absolutely no lights or issues since we got her back.I neglected to mention that the tow driver, service coordinator and driver were all super kind and helpful.Overall excellent experience for a stressful situation.

Milstead is truly a complete care auto shop. Jim took really good care of me and kept me informed. As a woman, l have never felt cheated or lied to from this place. These guys are real experts and l say that proudly because they were able to investigate my SUV issue without the vehicle registering any codes! Wow! I’m truly happy with Milstead. I had a tire blowout on the highway. I called my insurance and they recommended them to me. It took them 35 min to come like they said they would. Tank is the man. He provided very safe options for me to change my tire. He’s very personable and professional. The tow truck even smells nice lol. I’m now a loyal customer to milstead. Had an issue I wasnt happy about.Update: The manager Josh called me and said they would fix the issue with my battery free of charge. The service at Milstead is top notch. I never had to reach out to ask for an update on the service of my car. Which happens to be my classic dream car - my baby. There were several impressive moments where apperance and performance opinions were shared with me by the service center and in those cases I took the advice of the service center and Im glad I did. CLEAN, COURTEOUS and RELIABLE.The service I went for was for an Oil Change but also wanted them to check the breaks.The service advisor promptly gave the advise that my breaks were good for some more time, instead of gouging and fleecing the customer, they were HONEST and gave me the right advise.Their Shuttle service is IMPECCABLE and very useful as I had a single car.The Shuttle driver Barbara was Nice and Courteous too, Thank you Barbara.Thank you The Management Team for this wonderful service.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ALL I KNOW.

The best auto repair shop experience I have ever had. Check in was quick, same day a/c repair for a leak, and they washed and vacuumed my car, which was totally a surprise to me. Great job Milstead we will be returning for all our car maintenance from now on.

A few days ago I had a tire blowout while driving on highway 45 heading south. After I heard the loud “boom” and realized it was from my tire bursting, I managed to quickly get off the main freeway but unfortunately I didn’t make it off the exit ramp. I pulled onto the shoulder of this exit ramp and prayed I would not get hit as vehicles swooshed past me.When I was able to get out and look at the tire and the damage to the tire, I realized I would have to change the flat myself if I wanted to get home. To my surprise 2021 Toyota Corolla hybrids no longer come with a spare tire in the trunk. I was shocked to only find a bottle of fix a flat and no spare tire.in the trunk of my new car!. This is a ridiculous and terribly unsafe way to sell any car in my opinion. Now I was stuck with no options to help myself. I had no choice but to just sit there until their “complimentary” tow service came to get me and tow me to their closest service center. With literally no other options, I waited and waited and waited - for well over an hour - in the heat and on an unsafe shoulder.This is were this automotive business provided me with help through their “Tow and Go” services! I was ecstatic to see them pulling up behind my vehicle and relieved help had arrived. The tow and go driver, “Xavier”, clearly explained to me how he could help me get of the feeder to a safe road ahead for free or tow me to wherever I’d like for a reasonable price. No pressure - not pushy - not out to make a buck…just there to help. I was so relieved to finally have the help I needed to get out of this bad situation.I tried to reach the “complimentary” tow service that Toyota dispatched to me hours prior but whoever they dispatched to help me, never showed up or answered my many texts and calls to their listed contact phone number provided. I never received any call or text indicating they were coming or had arrived to tow my vehicle. Thank God “Tow and Go” showed up!!’Anyway, because of Xavier and the Tow and Go company’s services, I was not left in a dangerous situation but rather I was professional towed to safety.I highly recommend this company for their quality approach to helping stranded motorists get to safety. I also want to thank Xavier for his prompt quality service, clear explanation of how he could help me and his continuous professional manner throughout this ordeal.It’s nice to know that there are quality companies with hard working responsible employees that will be there to help when you have no other options. Stephen Meredith came out and did an excellent job helping me on the side of the freeway in the rain. Showed up and did a professional service quickly and right. I greatly appreciate the service.

Samual pope was hands down the best tow truck driver I’ve ever had tow my car. Most professional person I’ve met in years. Not only did he wait on the side of the road behind my car so it didn’t get hit he even waited 3 hours for triple a to give him permission to tow it. He then towed it to my house and didn’t leave til the car was running and back in the driveway. Absolutely outstanding job!!!

I have never met a more detailed and thorough service team. They were patient with me and the communication was white glove. The most honest team in the business. Hopefully I don’t have to take my car back but if I did, this would be the only place….. HANDS DOWN!!! Jim and Greg in Service are the best!!

I have used Milstead a number of times and always received excellent service, my recent experience for an unexpected battery change, and scheduled maintenance was no different. I usually deal with Jim Lucker, who is always professional and friendly and I received regular updates. Highly recommend Milstead Automotive.

Update: Did the 30k PM yesterday. They completed a huge Freightliner list of items to replace and check all in one day. I was very pleased they were able to complete it all. The bill wasn’t cheap, but that reflects having a tech work on it the whole day. So I’d say it was reasonable. Still very impressed with Milstead!Had my RV tires rotated and annual inspection done. Excellent experience. Colleen was my service manager. She did a great job of scheduling, accurately taking my request, and keeping me apprised of progress. All was completely in a reasonable amount if time. I was so pleased with my experience that I made an appointment next week for my 30k PM.

Sam Pope can as an Angel to help a friend of mine. Her car died on Rayford Rd. And needed a lift back to her apartment. He did just that and didn’t charge her. May God return more blessings to him and his family. Thank you again!! # there’s still good people in this world! 🙏🏼😌

Dennis was super helpful when our company van broke down. He was excellent at his freeway patrol to the point where we didnt have to call him, he just showed up! He was also very accommodating by changing out our tire both quickly and excellently. He is a God send.

My experience with Milstead Automotive was professional from the first call until I picked up my vehicle. Horrible !!I have been going to milstead for about 3 years now for my oil changes and not one’s I was told that my thread’s on my oil pan have been getting worn out. I went to get a oil change on 10/20/23 and was told that my thread’s on my oil pan was completely worn out. I had to pay $195 because they repaired it without my approval

Had a car towed using this service. Driver was helpful and attentive to our needs. Very knowledgeable with the details involving the operation of his equipment. I was very comfortable with him and knew my vehicle would be towed with out issue. Thank you Tank.

These guys were great. I needed to get an inspection done before a road trip. I had very little time and it was the day after Christmas. They were able to get me in for inspection and took care of me with the utmost respect and care. If you have automotive needs, I would highly recommend these guys.

Steven was very nice and a great tow driver. He made me feel comfortable while dealing with a car that wouldnt start. He made sure I got home safe and my car parked safe as well. Great tow truck driver I will definitely use again if is Steven.

I called and talked to Josh on a Saturday and explained we traveled from out of town and the RV was not running well and was making a noise. He said I could bring it in then but I asked if Monday was okay and he said yes he would be waiting. He had to order parts so it took longer than we expected but he did his absolute best to get us repaired and on the road. We made it back home safe so to Josh and the young man that worked so hard to get us going, Thank you so much. God blessed us when he sent us to your shop. My grand daughter said everyone was nice.

Amazing customer service. Walked in this afternoon with a ‘loud cricket’ sound coming from under my hood. They diagnosed the problem quickly and Jim told me the parts would be there in 45 minutes for repair. Barbara driving the shuttle took me home as it was already 4:30 and they close at 6. I assumed I would get my Jeep back in the morning. By 5:15 I had a text saying it was ready for pick up. Called up there and Barbara was on her way back to get me minutes later. So in less than 2 hours they diagnosed the problem, got the parts, and fixed the Jeep. The free shuttle service was amazing and Barbara was fun to talk to on the ride. Price was fair for what needed to be done. They did make suggestions for what else I probably need but there was no pressure to get it done now.

Milstead is the epitome of honesty and integrity for automotive repair. I’ve been using them for over 16 years. This most recent time, I had trouble with my truck starting and holding charge. Battery was replaced (under warranty), and they told me the steps and price to keep troubleshooting. They found the issue (an $11 part), and all is well again. I took my Buick Enclave in to get my water pump replaced. They replaced it and my serpentine belt The service was done in one day and at a price that didn’t break me. On top of that they cleaned my vehicle inside and out. I would recommend them to anyone. The first time I used them was for an accident claim.

Great, diligent, and very much respected upon walking in as a female. I have had some bizarre experiences at other places in the past. Never did I feel uninformed of what was going on with my truck. Greg and Jim are wonderful. If you ever have questions call and ask they are willing to discuss and answer your questions. I will be returning within the next week or so for maintenance and I trust then wholeheartedly.

Y’all!!! Dennis Hilton with Milstead Automotive was by far amazing!!! This program of Tow and Go is a huge blessing! They’re fast! Only complaint was the first guys that came out. Said dog was dangerous and she was far from that. Then Mr. Dennis came back by and towed us. Super friendly, professional, & really need more people like him!! He took the time to explain the program to us once we were at the drop of location.

Milstead Automotive helped me by replacing a leaking fuel line under my truck, without the immediate replacement my truck could have easily caught fire on I-45. Their Wrecker Service picked me up very soon after calling and the work was completed in a timely manner. Went here hoping to be treated fairly but was quoted twice the normal rate for work on my engine. When I decided not to have this company work on my truck I told them I would be taking it somewhere else and that’s when their attitude changed. After paying Milstead $900 just to disassemble my engine I had my truck towed home to be worked on later by someone else. When the other shop got my truck they immediately told me that I was missing pieces and to get them back from Milstead. When I called to see if I could get my missing property I was told everything was neatly put back in my truck and then was hung up on. If you want an experience like mine, talk to John Howard, he’ll set you right up.

Sunday.. blown tire on the freeway. Contacted Milstead for a tow. They stayed in contact with me from point of contact until they arrived. Towed my truck 70 miles home. Larry the driver was pleasant and wasn’t bothered at all with the distance.. all around good customer service!!

Johnny was pleasant and very patient while I had to work things out with a 3rd party. It makes a difference when you have someone like Johnny helping and Im in a different state. Thanks again!

Great experience as always. Ive had several of my car(s) issues worked on by Milstead over the years, and as always, they do a great job. This time they had to replace a water pump on our Ford Explorer, plus, they fixed a bad AC hose, and replaced the Spark Plugs. They did a fantastic job and had the car ready as promised 2 days later. Thanks again to Greg in the Service Department for explaining everything and keeping us informed. (The Collisions service is also fantastic! Unfortunately, Ive had a few of my cars in there too, but Milstead Collision always too care of us) Thanks again,
