I unequivocally warn everyone, especially people of color and other marginalized communities, to avoid this company like the plague due to its owner, Mr. Strong, who is a despicable racist and homophobe. After being a loyal customer for three years, I was shocked and disgusted to receive a barrage of hate-filled messages from Mr. Strong. His messages included vile racial slurs, repugnant homophobic remarks, and even threats of physical violence.To make matters worse, he stooped to making lewd and disrespectful comments about my wife. This man is not only a disgrace to his profession but to humanity itself. His behavior is beyond reprehensible and has no place in any business, let alone one that enters peoples homes.Despite attempting to resolve the issue, Mr. Strong persisted in his hateful tirade and even refused legitimate payment methods. His actions have left me deeply shaken and concerned for the safety of others who may unknowingly invite this toxic presence into their lives.I urge every potential customer to steer clear of this company and its abhorrent owner. No one should have to endure such degrading treatment and blatant bigotry. This experience has been nothing short of traumatizing, and I hope this review serves as a warning to others seeking reliable and respectful service providers.

They have been very professional with their service on our family condo and worked hard to get our unit working so we could enjoy it for this weekend. Chris and his staff have been kind and professional. Please don’t pay attention to some of the bad reviews, it appears that some other AC company in town is somehow linking to Contract Services google listing, and being a former business owner that relied on our reviews, figured out by doing a google search of the other company and it pulls this one up. Top notch company with very long standing repuatation on South Padre Island.

Would love to leave a good review because the service technicians that provided service to our AC were really nice and did a great job. But the woman working at the office was extremely rude to us. We have been waiting for more than 3 months for her to send us the paperwork to renew our contract and every time I call she either comes up with an excuse or just hangs up on us. I’ve called weekly and emailed them for the past 3 months and have failed to obtain a response. Sadly, it appears we are going to have to find another company because this company clearly does not want to provide the services they promise. It’s been a waste of time trying to contact them. If they do not want to provide us their services, they can just say so, instead of just promising to call back or email us “soon”. Extremely disappointed

Do not use this company. I contacted them because my parents Warren Kininmonth and Kaye Kininmonth had been using them for years. They just passed away and I inherited the house. They came out on March 2023 to fix a sensor. The guy said the owner would contact me about replacing the air filter. I was told it would cost $500. I have called repeatedly and no one has come to my house. I just found out where the air filter is located and bought an OEM filter for $50 on Amazon. I am reading all the other reviews about this company. I contacted Chris from the company. I can see why they have bad reviews.

Called regarding an ac unit that just went out. Strong had looked at the same unit 2 months ago and fixed a drain problem for us. At that time he recommended replacing the entire ac unit, however we could not afford it. Just called him back and he said rudely, do you remember what I said when I saw it before? I said yes, he said, I cant help you, find somebody else and hung up on me. What kind of a business owner does that? By far the rudest most unprofessional business owner Ive ever dealt with. Use this company at your own risk. DO NOT recommend.

I have never had such a horrible experience with a repair person. When he quoted and I was asking questions he told me to do it his way or to find someone else. I had used him before so I thought it was just a bad moment. I had to leave while they were doing the repair. I then kept texting him to send me the invoice. Twice he said he was working on it. Then at 9pm he texts demanding his check. I sent my son to give him his check at his home and he yelled and cussed at my boy for no reason. I can only suspect he is either really sick, or he was upset because he could not talk me into installing a 3 ton unit in an 800 sq feet condo. Please stay away from this individual if you are looking for a decent person to work on your ac.

Horrible experience. He is incredibly rude and unprofessional. We delivered his check for several thousand dollars at his residence. He came out only wearing shorts, did not bother to say a word or even look at me, took the check from my hands, and made it all the way to his porch before turning around and yelling profanities at my wife and myself. Whatever your situation may be, it is not worth providing business to someone so unscrupulous who treats customers and strangers with such a lack of dignity and respect.

Very reliable and professional service for your furnace and air conditioner. In my opinion the rates and fees are very high for South Texas. Weather too high to cost compare for this service but if you have time call several firms and get quotes. If the prices are close go with Contract Services.

I called needing an oven part quickly. Chris called me back within a half hour said they don’t have the part but he checked and i could order part and get it quicker through Amazon prime. I appreciated his honesty and getting back to me quickly!

Excellent and fast service, maintenance for any ac unit, very professional company.

Service tech was rude, misleading, very overpriced and damaged my existing unit. Dont do business with them unless you want to call them back within year.
