Today was the second time we’ve had to call Markl & Sons to check out our AC unit. We’ve had Robert both times. Let me just start by saying they are absolutely phenomenal at what they do!!The first time they came they were over within two hours of me calling, which was so important since it was a hot Texas day and I have a toddler and a baby. He found the issue, addressed it quickly, took time to explain the science behind it, answered my questions, and was so kind. He wasn’t patronizing at all! As a woman, I’ve had terrible experiences in the past with service providers, but Robert helped me to feel informed and safe. Also, as a first time homeowner this is all new territory for my husband and I.Now, it’s the second time they’ve been over to help. This time they were out within 30 minutes of me calling. This situation, unlike the first, was totally preventable if we had been aware of proper maintenance. We knew we needed to change the filter but could not figure out how to do so safely. Thus, our unit froze up. Again, Robert was kind, considerate, and informative in explaining the situation. he kindly showed me the safe way to change the filter. Also, he calls before he comes to “make sure the kiddos aren’t napping.”Phenomenal customer service and quality work. They will forever be my go to.

Ive had a quote and subsequent replacement of a secondary 2 ton unit done by Markl and have been completely satisfied. The owner, Randy Markl came out to do the estimate and it was obvious that he was completely knowledgable about HVAC and not only did his price come in below my first estimate for a comparable model, he also advised an additional air return which he added to the job at no additional charge. The type of thermostat that I wanted was installed and after going over thermostat types, at no time did he try to upsell me. The service tech came out yesterday to replace the filter on a larger 5 ton unit and the price I paid for this special large 4 inch filter was less than half of what I have been charged in the past by a different company. Highly recommend Markl & Sons HVAC.

Randy was quick to get to us and see what exactly we needed. He gave us 3 different options and could’ve upsold us with the size we thought we needed but did not. He even worked us in the next day since we had been without AC. Randy was on-site as well to make sure no details were missed. A big thanks to Kenny and Tim for going above and beyond making everything perfect! They didn’t stop until 7pm! They could’ve just installed it and left but they took the time to do it right! We have had repeated problems with a new outside AC unit that was installed by another local company 4 years ago. Markl has been amazing in helping us through 4 years of issues that followed. We had a new outdoor AC unit placed today and we are so happy with their service and attentiveness to our needs. We would definitely recommend them to anyone needing repairs or replacements!

Highly recommend Markl & Sons! Our compressor literally exploded and we called several different HVAC companies knowing we needed a new unit and were debating a new system. Randy was very knowledgeable, honest, and trust-worthy. He could have up-sold us but instead educated us, gave us a great deal and prioritized us due to being without a/c. Can’t say enough great things about this group of guys…they were here for almost 12 hours making sure everything was done right and cleaned up so it was like they weren’t even here (but we definitely noticed bc they left us with a new system!). I am so glad I got a referral from a co-worker to call them about my AC being out 1st hot day of the summer! It was on a Friday afternoon and I was told by other companies no one could get out till Monday I was looking at the weekend with no AC and it was HOT outside. Someone was there before the end of the day and it was fixed and up running . I am very grateful for their fair and honest service.

Initially I had these guys out to get a second opinion/estimate after a not so great experience with another company - everything was explained to me in greater detail, I got my estimate back four times faster, overall my experience was just leaps and bounds better - so I had them replace my entire system. Everything was smooth from start to finish, they got it all done in a day, my final cost was exactly what my estimate was, Ive had absolutely zero issues since - I would recommend this company to anyone needing HVAC services.

They are awesome! I Called at 9:30am and they showed up by 2:00pm and worked me in. They added freon and the young man was so friendly and prompt and he also sprayed a wasp nest on my front porch within 5 min no more wasps! Excellent service and highly recommend them

Once he arrived he went right to work, walked me through what he was doing to the furnace and ac unit for the yearly check up, even sprayed around AC to prevent ants since it had been raining. Woke up 745am and our heater stopped working. Called markl and sons they came out immediately. Soon as they arrived our power went out. We sat without all day without power. Finally got power at like 430 call markl and sons. They came back out immediately 20 minutes before closing. Turns out our motor blew etc . He had to go get one. All this now being after hours. While gone we lost power again. He comes back and still hooks it all up and wasnt leaving until he knew it would work. Power finally came back on about 8 and we have heat and power. Thanks so much to the guys for being so dedicated to serving their clients as family and priorities. Best around.

These guys came in and had my house done and cooled off after replacing our entire unit inside and out before we got home from work. And at a price that was far better than anyone else in Grayson County. They did amazing work and were so nice!

Markl and Sons are my only choice for HVAC work. They are always on point when I need anything HVAC related. I had a couple of systems installed in my home, and they made it a great experience. The knowledge of the technicians are beyond comparison to any other company around. Markl and Sons have been in business since 1980. That says something in itself.

I’ve rented a new house with a new hvac system for three years, and each year the property manager has to send someone to work on the new hvac system. After they work on it, it does great! The next year it stops blowing cold air but constantly runs. I submitted the issue this year on May 12, 2023 but they never sent anyone. After a frustrated morning, they finally sent a new company, Markl and Sons… I can’t thank you enough Markl and Sons! You came the same day, replaced the refrigerant AND found the small leak! I’m always out of town for business, so the fact you came the same day when it’s so hot and I have a busy schedule means a lot, and the fact your guys listened to me and searched for the cause of the problem is priceless to me. I didn’t retain his name, but he was very friendly, professional, and intent to find the solution to the problem. Thank you again!

They are fantastic, no one comes close to their skill and customer service! A couple of weeks ago our AC quit. They squeezed us into their already busy schedule that same day. From diagnostics (snake removal and capacitor replacement) to fixed literally took 7 minutes. Absolutely amazing!! Excellent Service. Randy Came out and took a look at my A/C unit, and Gave me a quote on the spot. I did not have to call or email to remind him to get me the quote. Thoroughly explained what needed to be done what to expect. The day of installation was easy and the Techs that came out were professional and friendly. Just pick another company. These guys are about max profit for minimum effort. Cool Co is a good alternative.

Markl responded quickly when our AC unit started putting water on the floor right before a family trip. They came out and assessed the situation fairly and honestly and helped us make a plan. On install day, the employees did a VERY good job, and were extremely courteous and kind throughout their full day of work. I will highly recommend Markl to others. Owners secretary quoted $1900.00 just to drill the hole in my brick house Not install unit or wire it in as I told her I had an electrician and the unit is a floor unit and we can set on the floor and pad ourselves. Sure he thought he was going to laugh all the way to the bank ... LOL

What you will NOT get from this company is price gouging, misrepresentation or an effort to sell you parts, products and services you do not need. Always responsive, always honest, trustworthy and dependable. I highly recommend!

Great service, great staff. I have to give only 2 stars. Their yearly service agreement is once in the spring and once in the fall to keep you going and no service call charge. However, should you need service outside the agreement, then they will charge you! Been with them for awhile now, but its time to start looking elsewhere!

Came home from work to find my house 85 degrees inside at 4:30 pm. I just knew we was in for a miserable night. Markl and Sons sent someone over in 45 minutes and thankfully it was only a capacitor. The tech had one on his truck and had the A/C back on in 15 minutes. Thank you from the whole family!

I used Markl and Sons in 2018 to take apart my AC in my mobile home and clean it. They literally had to take it to a car wash and then weld it back on (or however it was reassembled). I contacted them after being quoted $1200-1700 from a sketchy owner of another company. They completed the work for almost 1/3 of the price. I just pulled the invoice to call and have them do it again!

Markl and Sons did an excellent job with our AC/furnace installation. They are very professional and great to work with. We’re extremely pleased with the service and the product.

I have used Markl & Sons ever since I got shafted by a Chuck & a truck and they are OUTSTANDING in their service, knowledge, and reliability. They are a hair pricier than some of the other CONtractors out there, but you will get what you need from these guys and they will do what they say they will do. You cant put a premium on that

Our A/C went out with the ice storm in February. We had called 2 other companies. The first one never called back. The second one would get upset when I called once a week to check status. My husband called Markl &Sons last Tuesday. They came out at 8pm. On Monday they installed our new unit. We will ALWAYS call them for everything. We cant thank you enough.

Called Thursday morning to setup an appointment due to water appearing in the inside AC Unit. Daniel(Technician) arrived the same day, Thursday afternoon. He looked at the problem and advise a plan of attack regarding the issue. Due to the time limitation and the nature of the water problem we both agreed to work on the problem Friday morning. Daniel arrived as schedule and perform the work as promise. I trust Daniel, he gave me his honest opinion of the current situation and advise me of future concerns.
