Tri-County was recommended by folks on NextDoor and Im happy they did. Bubba came right out to do the estimate and the mini split he recommended for my craft room has been working wonderfully.

Since my house was pier and beam, and I had a 45 year old central heat unit it was a challenge. The crew in two days took out the old ducts and the old unit out of the central hall and did this in the heat. Each one had their job to do. I felt sorry for those in the attic and crawl space under the house. New areas of duct work were added to other rooms and bathrooms as they were added to the old part of the house 25 years ago. We used 3 window units all these year and my electric bill was very high, including heat in the winter. Since then my electric bills stay at about $130. I also had a company put shades on all my windows. That was a great improvement and keeps the house cool and the heat out. My house was built in the seventies with lots of windows.A big thank you goes out for all you guys and the ladies in the office. My life is so much comfortable. My pups are spoiled too. Steve came out and put a new capacitor on our Carrier unit. He was very knowledgeable and he said it was a simple repair. Air Rescue in Marion who installed the unit replaced a computer board for $1244. When that didn’t fix the issue they wanted us to buy a new one for $22,000. The capacitor and labor was $201.85. I highly recommend Tri-County for AC repairs, and Steve is awesome!

Excellent repair service on old unit before I decided to get new unit. Bubba answered questions I had. Installation on new unit went well and it cools great. Installers did great and cleaned up good. I will call Tri County with any future needs I have and will recommend you to others.Bill Meier

Tri-County A/C & Heating is the very best company I have ever used for my A/C needs! The folks are friendly, honest, and totally professional....they do exactly what they say they will do. I have recently had 2 new systems installed in my home to replace original equipment and was totally happy with their pricing and over-whelmed by the professional installations! You might find cheaper service but Ive learned you get what you pay for....

Up until this year Ive been happy, but they really stuck it to me. Had to have compressor and coil replaced. Both under warranty but labor over $1500 for each in space of a month. Guy who installed compressor overcharged according to two other HVAC Companies separately and TCA charged for a follow up visit without fixing anything. Still trying to get this fixed, but everyone wants big bucks to fix what should been made right by Tricounty.

For several years, Tri-County has kept our original system going. I appreciate the fact that they saved my family money by replacing certain parts rather than trying to sell me a new unit. I love the honesty.This year WE chose to replace the entire unit with no pressure from Tri-County. There tech replaced the unit in one day. Prior experience with this company has always been great! Been using them for at least 8 years to fix or perform maintenance on my HVAC system, and just had them install a new system. My heater was at least 25 years old. Great experience!

Tri County has graciously supported my child’s school, so they were the first ones I called when our AC unit died in heat of September. Bubba was out the following day (Thursday) gave us an estimate and even loaned us a portable unit until the new AC unit was installed. The crew (skilled, through & professional) showed up at 8 AM on Monday and by the end of the day we had air! Kay was very patient and helpful with getting all the paperwork completed.Highly recommend!

I want to express my gratitude to Tri-County for working through the installation and the wiring configuration of a 2-stage HVAC system, 3 dehumidifiers (2 April Aire and 1 Honeywell), and 3 Honeywell T10 thermostats/humidistats that I have.I am happy to write that everything is working as expected and our homes are very cool, dry and more energy efficient.My wife and I cannot thank Tri-County enough for the professional approach and determination to make me a happy customer.

Our AC unit had died and we needed a new one. They came out and looked at what we had and provided 3 options. They answered all of our questions. They also had financing options and made that an easy process. Once we settled on the unit we wanted they were installing it the next day. Technicians were very nice and thorough and explained everything on the controls when finished. It was a pleasure to work with them all around from the office staff to the technicians. They did a wonderful job and we are very happy we decided to use them.

We bought a new heat pump/air conditioner from Tri-County AC & Heating after they gave us best deal after reviewing 3 bids. Installation went smoothly and billing was exactly bid price. Office did paperwork so we got credit from our electric company quickly. Everyone we spoke with was courteous and helpful. They did an excellent job and they will have our business in the future!

I called Tri County AC on Monday for a estimate and called back on Tuesday to set the appointment to have the unit installed. They sent out a gentleman with a window unit to keep me cool in my bedroom until the unit could be installed. On Friday 2 gentlemen showed up to install my new unit and they were done by 4pm. All 3 gentlemen were professional, polite and hard workers. I would highly recommend this company.

Our HVAC Unit was over 20 years old and unfortunately was unrepairable so we had to replace the entire system. The entire Tri-County team was so amazing to work with, from the first person who came out to quote us, to the team in the office, to the two guys Aaron and Will who came and replaced our unit. They were professional, responsive, POLITE and really made me feel like I made the best decision to use them to replace our unit. Spending that kind of money is really stressful, and after having multiple quotes from different companies, this company really gave me the best quote and also just peace of mind we chose the right company. They made a very stressful, expensive experience much less stressful and I am very very glad we decided to use this company. The ladies in the office also were happy to help me fill out my rebate paper work with NBU, because every dollar goes a long way these days. We have several dogs, and after our installation, for the first time I was able to walk in the back door and could actually smell our diffuser and didnt sweat through the night. I honestly wish more companies operated like Tri-County and I am no way affiliated with anyone who works there, just a very happy customer. Big thanks to the people who work for and run this company, they are good, honest people.

The owner came out and found the problem we were having with mildew on a particular vent. He gave me a price for the repair and a few days later he sent a crew out to do the repairs. The three men in the crew were very nice and introduced themselves and stated what repairs they were going to make to the A/C cold air supply to the vent in question. They completed the work in about 2 hours and left. No more problems with mildew on the vent.The price was reasonable and was as stated in the estimate.I would highly recommend this company for any air conditioning or heating service you might need.Charles Williamson

I have relied on Tri County all of my service needs for the last approx.15 years, and always received outstanding service. Aaron and George were very friendly, courtious, and very knowledgable. The most capable, trustworthy and competent company we have worked with. They fixed our AC when the company that installed the units could not even find the problem, after months of trying. Very reliable - they show up when they say they will. We have been using them for 3+ years and they are the only company we will call for any AC/heating issues.

Used this company a few weeks ago when my outdoor unit went out. I called them and they were able to come out the very next day first thing. The technician was very kid and courteous and was able to fix my issue very quickly and at a very very reasonable price. I was very impressed with their service and will more than likely use them again if something else is to happen with my system.

I have never left a review for any company, but I thought these people deserved my attention.I was getting ready to go into the hospital for an extended stay and wanted the heating unit to be working properly while I was gone. When I went to try it, nothing. I called Tri-County A/C and they had a guy out there next day; had the part on the truck and was finished in less than an hour and for a lot less than I was expecting to pay!These folks are a friendly, first class operation!

Excellent service from start to finish.On a 96 degree Saturday about 5pm the AC stopped blowing. New to the area and neighbor recommended Tri-County (excellent choice).Tech returned my call within 30 minutes and scheduled for next day.Sunday morning by 8:30am he was in our attic diagnosing the problem.By noon we had a new blower motor installed (using the existing fan and housing saved some money) with house cooling down nicely.After hours / weekend, we could not have asked for better service and reasonable pricing. Weve been using this company for a little over 2 years now. When we first bought our house in this area, the ac stopped cooling, and they came and fixed it. Through the years weve struggled with an under-powered system. When we replaced the coil, we continued to have issues, apparently the replacement had a pin hole leak somewhere. They stood behind it and replaced it completely free of charge. (Note- they never tried to tell us to buy a new system, we both knew the problem and were just trying to make the best of the situation we were in.)Then when a huge hail storm finally did this system in, insurance agreed to pay for a new system, (since ours was an older R22 unit, and you cant get the parts to retro-fit a new outside unit with an old inside unit.) They gave me a great price on a new one, and we chose to upgrade a bit to help with energy costs. While we were waiting for the insurance to handle their end, it started not cooling again, (low on Freon, no doubt from the damage from the storm.) I called them, and they sent someone out to put some old recaptured Freon in to hold us until the check came in. FREE OF CHARGE MIND YOU, not even labor or mileage for coming out. They didnt have to do that, but they valued us as customers and made sure we were taken care of.Once all the insurance nonsense was handled, they scheduled it and replaced it in one day. Didnt even worry about the check, said the office will get with me. I stopped in, and again greeted with excellent service. They handled the payment no problem, and said they would handle all the filing of rebates and registering the new unit, which was a huge burden off my back.Theyve never been late for an appointment. Their workers are LOCAL, just normal blue-collar workers, who are extremely courteous and knowledgeable. Absolute have never had an issue with them. If you want excellent care, fair honest and reliable service then use this company! I have in no way been compensated for writing this review, I just have been so impressed with their customer service that I wanted to let others know.

Tri County treats you like family. I have never met a stranger that worked there from the receptionist to the service techs. They are fast, friendly and have old fashioned values which I love. They have proven to be a company built on honesty and integrity...I know this because I have done business with them for more than 15 years. They have my business hands down.

Kendall was GREAT and early. Thank you all for fitting me in and getting my AC float fixed. Although having a rainforest in my first floor master bedroom was great for.....about 2 seconds, finding the cause and reducing the long-term damage is much appreciated!Thanks again!

I had called another A/C company and had them come out the day before. They told me the leak could not be fixed without replacing all the copper tubing in the house and that I didnt have the right connection to refill the coolant. They gave me a price of $2900I then called Tri-county. They came out and refilled the coolant with my existing connection and made a new flared end to the copper tube that was leaking and fixed the leak. Gerald was great, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. And the price was$400, with the extra fee for coming out on a Sunday (Mothers Day).

Excellent and prompt service. Honest information, knowledgeable staff. Kendall came out and diagnosed the problem with my AC condenser and promptly ordered / installed the part. My unit is functioning efficiently again. I highly recommend Tri-County for all air conditioning and heating issues.

I was so disappointed this year when it came time for my annual cleaning of my ductless AC units. I have purchased 3 main units with 5 internal units from Tri County and have had them come yearly to clean the units. This year I was only able to get 2 of the 5 inside units serviced and cleaned and the outside units. The price was so High compared to previous years and the work was not up to par. $200 for each inside unit and $35 for each outside unit. The outside units were not cleaned very well and still had dirt in them. I was better off spraying them down with my garden hose. The inside units were cleaned but the technician spent a total of 1.5 hrs cleaning and my bill was $509. Previous years I had 2 technicians and they did thorough cleanings and were here the whole morning for a way lower price. If you break it down I spent $340 an hour in labor. There were no materials or replacement parts involved. I purchased my units from Tri County and the amounts were well over 14k needless to say when it comes time for replacement units I will be looking elsewhere after the prices for cleaning.

I called for them to check out my AC as it just wasn’t keeping up at the heat of the day. They came out the next day! They were skilled and thorough! They came back today with the parts I needed and found something else that was going on and fixed that too! I am very happy to have my first cool afternoon in over a week!

I was having problems with my AC drip pan filling with water. Kendall from Tri-County came out the next and cleared m y drain line. He also identified a problem that several people overlooked for 6 years and was to fix that also. He was very courteous, competent, and professional. We would definitely use them again. Stay with local companies.

As usual , Tri county sent a repair person quickly , who made the repairs quickly, neatly and professional ly . What was surprising was that this was a warranty repair for which we received a bill for $160.00. We were billed for a weekend call, parts and $ 30.00 to process the warranty claim.We have used them for years and bought a new unit from them without hesitation. BUT I was not told by them that I would be charged for a weekend rate for the warranty call and $ 30.00 to process the warranty claim. The tech they sent was told that it was a warranty call before he came and said nothing about the $ 90.00 dollar Sunday charge.

I came across Tri- County A/C through the recommendation of a neighbor. As with what usually happens, the A/C quit blowing cold air, it was a Friday afternoon and the start of a 3-day holiday weekend. And, my disabled 3 year old granddaughter was living with us. it was any homeowners worst nightmare. The OWNER personally came out, within a few hours of my frantic call, and discovered a spider had fried the capacitor. Within a short time, he had my unit up and blowing cold air again. That calm, exceptional, and personal service sold me - theyve been my A/C company ever since. They are the ONLY company Ill ever use and recommend to anyone, forever. Dont use anyone else. Use Tri-County. Youll be flash you did, and become a life-long customer too.

Cheaper than anyone else I called, they got here quickly and got the job done. Fantastic people, will always use them. My AC was under warranty and even with discount tri-county was a better choice after labor was added!

Ive used these folks for my business and residence. Last call I had them check out my AC when it wouldn’t keep up with the heat of the day. They inspected the unit and went up in the attic to check the main blower. Repair man tuned everything up but ultimately advised my unit was too small for the house. His tune up definitely helped out, unit was holding about 3 degrees cooler after that. If I do decide to get new unit I’ll definitely choose them to do the install.

Derek came out on time. He was very professional and had my AC up and running within 20 minutes. He managed to change the capacitor with no complications. I am very satisfied with the quality and price of the work that was done.

I have been through 3 different A/C systems in the same home. Finally, I went with quality over a bargain. It turned out that quality was the bargain in the long run.I personally knew Bubba and Kay to be people of good caracter. I had my HVAC system replaced about six years ago. Of three bids I solicited TRI County offered the best price. They arrived as scheduled and removed and replaced my system in one day. After the cold spell we had this year (2021) the evaporator coil developed a small leak. I contacted Bubba at TRI County in Seguin and he arranged a service call. Gerald, one of his main Techs, arrived as scheduled and was able to identify the problem. He ordered a new evaporator (was still under warranty) and returned with Camron, another tech, and installed the new evaporator. In just a few hours my system was up and running. From the install to the repair, TRI Countys Techs have been courteous, knowledgeable, and proficient. They performed the task at hand expediently and always arrived on time. I wouldnt trust any other company for my HVAC needs.

I absolutely love this company! I have used them on my home as well as our rentals for years and they are the best! I’ve tried other AC companies but have not found them to be as trustworthy as TriCounty AC. I will continue to trust them with our HVAC needs in the future. Thanks for all jobs well done!!

This happened after spending literally thousands of dollars with Tri County. Left a message on 6-11-23, called to confirm they had received the message on 6-12-23. They advised that they received it, but there were about 18 people ahead of me. As of today 6-26-23, no one has ever called. Obviously I had to use someone else.

These folks were great. We had two other HVAC companies come out and they both, within 10 minutes, were talking through a new system. Tri County invested time and energy into trying to fix our system. When they were unable to fix it, they replaced it for a third of the quote from either previous companies. They were upfront and communicative every step of the way.

These are great folks to work with from the first call to the follow after the installation; theyre 5 stars all the way!I got five estimates for a mini-split A/C system for my garage workshop. The estimates varied by $2500 for essentially the same Mitsubishi system. Tri-County had the best price but the the most important reason I went with them is because my trusted electrician (Koepsel Electric) spoke so highly about them.Bubba looked at my project the same day I called and had a comprehensive estimate back to me that evening. He also told me about a rebate that was available. Just to be safe (and cool) i asked Bubba if I shouldnt go with a larger system than he quoted. He assured me the added BTUs and expense were not necessary. The next day his bride, Mrs Kay, scheduled the work and took care of the rebate application for us. Their installation crew, Lane and Johnny, showed up on time and got the job done quickly and efficiently. These 2 young guys are top notch professionals! I was really impressed with their great attitude and work ethic. By the way, Tri-County also serviced my main AC system the next day. Gerald did that work and he too is top notch professional!Were satisfied customers for sure...Tri-County are our A/C go-to folks!

They are some of the most honest & trusting people I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with.When I have a problem, they are right there to fix the issue. They have even come out on holidays or the weekends to fix a problem. I met steve and the family back in 2007 and never stopped using them as we moved several times in the Seguin, TX. What sold me the first time was their unique solution for an HVAC system for a unique tiny home we had. Top that with good honest people and service it made it hard for us to use anyone else. We just sold another home again As we are leaving the area. We used them to replace an air handler that they predicted would have problems in the future. I trusted them to put in a system that would be done right for the new home owners. They again made a good recommendation and then installed it quickly so that we could have a timely closing. Tri County has my highest possible rating. Gerald came out to do the repair and was professional, knowledgeable and polite. I had originally called Airtron which was the company that did the install. A quick Google search showed Airtron was trying to charge way too much on a machine less than 2 years old and still under warrantee. So I called Tri County AC. The entire staff was was super and the repair was about one third of the bid from Airtron.Tri County has my business for life along with my highest rating. Thank you!

Tri-County is the BEST!!! I called after 5:30 on Thursday evening before a 3 day holiday because my AC had stopped working. The a/c technician discovered we had breaker box issues and it was not a problem with the ac. Tri-county came out right after our Texas Winter to figure out what was wrong with my heat pump. They got it fixed and tuned up right away. They were also available during that cold spell to answer questions about getting my unit to try and heat my house. They are awesome.

So I was totally convinced that my compressor was going out and was prepared to fork out a large sum of cash to get it replaced. The office was prepared to take my money but said it would be better to have a tech come and look at it.Turns out the relay that turns on the compressor was bad. Seems our dogs chewed the cable that goes to from the thermostat to this relay, which made the relay stay on all the time.They we super honest, which to me is the most important characteristic I look for in a company I do business with. You have earned a faithful customer for life. Integrity and an honest partner are yet another reason why you should do business with Tri-County AC.

Gerald was great about calling me back after a cancellation to see if I still needed someone to come fix our A/C. This was on a Sunday evening of a holiday weekend, with the temperature outside over 100 degrees. He had us fixed in about 45 minutes. We were so thankful.

Breath of fresh air (literally) to find a business with great values and service and to top it off with kindness is unheard of these days! We found it with Tri-County AC and will be life time customers to keep our family safe and comfortable. We recently had a whole new AC system installed before the Texas heat got here and the UV lights installed as well! I didnt think there would be such a HUGE difference in the smells of my house but there was a DRASTIC one! I have a baby and we all know what the baby room can smell like if the trash is not taken out daily. I noticed it eliminates it I was totally surprised! Also my sons room smelled of well boyness and now it smells neutral and fresh! We originally thought it was only for mold but read about all the good it does with other eliminations in the air as well and are even more pleased with it now. We are a family full of lung issues and I do see us being able to ease off some night time medications already! I cant wait to see my electric bill next month to see the change as well. Also its super quiet which is a drastic change from our almost 20 year unit prior! The crew that came to install it was so polite and respectful of our home. They even cleaned up every bit of any sort of a mess and vacuumed well. I also noticed the cleaned all around the AC slab outside and made it neat and easy to access. They were all very happy and easy to talk to and had great customer service. It was a rainy day and they made sure they put slip covers on their shoes which to me speaks a great deal about their service in small actions like that. Great home town family owned business!

Thank you Tri-County A/C and Heating! Our A/C went out at 10:30 pm last night. It was over 85 degrees and climbing. I have severe asthma so we could not open the windows. After a horribly hot night, Tri-County worked us in and our technician Robby was the best! He arrived early, fixed our problem and we had cooling back up in less than 15 minutes! Recently our air conditioner heat pump system died. After calling numerous businesses we linked up with Kay at Tri-County a/c who guided us through the steps of replacing our system.She sent out an expert to survey our home to determine the best options. We were set on getting a SEER 17 with a 2 speed compressor and American Standard offers a unit that would meet our need at a reasonable price.Kay was able to get our new unit install almost immediately. Her install team arrived and installed the new system in about four hours.As you can see from the attached electric usage graph our power consumption dropped by well over 50%. From $378/mo in June to approx $220 in July. On top of that NBU awarded us a $400.00 rebate; about two months free utility service.Cory, one of our installers told us our attic was too hot and humid so, we have repaired our soffit vents and are installing radiant barrier. With about 30% installed the temperature in the attic has dropped from 137 degrees F to 120 degrees F with the outside temperature at 100 degrees F. When we finish this project we are hoping for an even greater dropped in the heat loading. PS, it is not easy but we are doing the installation as DIY project.In addition we will be installing ridge vents when we replace the roofing next year. That should greatly improve ventilation and lower the humidity in the attic. We really appreciate the A/C installation teams advice on how to fix the issue.We highly recommend Tri-County due to their friendly and knowledgeable team members.

I have depended on Tri-County over the last 6 years based on a good friend’s recommendation. The reason I include my “good friend” is because my husband and I highly regard his opinion. Our friend is a retired Navy Commander and currently a pilot for American Airlines. I called and had them come out to give us a quote on a new AC system. That was over a month ago and I am still waiting on that quote. I called several days later and was told he was still pricing units. I called back a few days later and the guy who was suppose to give us the quote was out of the office. Needless to say they lost a $6000 job because they have no follow through. I was very dissatisfied as I had high expectations.

BUBBA CAME OUT GAVE AN ESTIMATE AND FIGURED OUT WHAT WAS NEEDEDTO HAVE AN EFFICIENT SYSTEM. The Install all happen in one day and they have provided excellent annual servicing. The were also very expedient whenever a problem presented itself ie. Drain plugged up and froze the unit and they came while we were on vacation fixed the unit so when we returned the house was cool. Will use again when needed and have recommended Tricounty to many friends.

Blower motor went out on my unit. Took five days to get one but it was repaired fast. The repairman called ahead of time and actually got here sooner than scheduled.

Our experience with Tri-County A/C so far has been horrible. We paid in full to soon. They have yet to complete the job. We are at the point of reporting them to the BBB. The air conditioning that was installed is still not working as it should.

My air conditioner was not working and they came out quickly and put in a replacement part to get it up and running. The part they had was not the part number covered under the warranty so they ordered part and came back out and replaced with warranty part.
