We hired River City Builders SA to put up an accent wall and build an entertainment unit in our condo. The finished product was above perfection! Absolutely LOVE the amazing look! I can’t say enough about Bill La Mont and Kevin Schultz regarding the outstanding quality of the work, professional performance, and responsiveness. Great customer service which is very hard to find these days. Highly recommend this company for any residential projects!Before and after photos of family room with and without accent wall and new entertainment unit.Loved the accent wall so much we had them do the same thing to the bedroom wall. Again, the transformation was remarkable as you can see by the before and after photos.

Like another commenter here, I seldom write reviews but felt compelled to share my experience with our commercial builder. River City Builders constructed our new Red Wing shoe store in Stone Oak -- this was a commercial finish out from cold dark shell to turn key operations. Had great communications with Bill La Mont and the build supervisor, Kevin Schultz. The project was completed on time and within budget, the site was kept immaculately clean and the end results speak for themselves. Bill has stood behind their work and weve had no issues to date -- just a well-built, beautiful new Red Wing shoe store. Thanks.

I have never ever written a bad review before. As a business owner, I understand the power that negative reviews can have on a company, and thus write this review with extreme reluctance. However, I simply cannot, in good conscience, recommend Bill Lamont or his company, River City Builders SA. I am speaking only on residential, and I must honestly admit that I do not know how they perform in a commercial setting.In fact, I created an account just to warn other potential victims that this company provided me with the absolute worst experience that I have ever had. There are three pillars to good service: Quality, Cost, and Time. It is neigh impossible to attain all three, but considered standard to have at least two. In my opinion, River City Builders SA is woefully absent in all three. The ONLY thing this company was good at was their introduction, initial bid process, and ability to make me feel like I could trust them. I was wrong. Please heed my warning; this is one of those times where a higher price does NOT equate to better quality!I am sure that someone from the company will come on and talk about how bad I was as a customer or even attack my character, as was done in emails from the company to me, in an attempt to write off my personal opinion. In the end, it is up to the potential customer to decide. If you decide to utilize this company, and have similar (or different) results, I beg you to submit a review. Only by providing honest opinions and reading others’ experiences, can outstanding companies be given the spotlight they deserve, and terrible companies be pressured into performing better.
