I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with the GVEC technician (Wes). He was informative and kept me in the know about everything. It was a decent sized system with multiple batteries and his crew finished the project faster than I expected. Thanks to the weather, they knocked the install out of the park in two days (one for batteries, one for panels). He showed me everything about the app and what I needed to know as the system owner. Thanks GVEC, I’m happy with my decision to go with you for my solar needs…so far 😆.

Wes and his crew did a great job throughout our solar system and battery installation. They were very efficient, courteous, and professional and did great work. So far I’m very happy to have chosen GVEC for solar.

Just had solar installed out at my residence. GVEC made the whole process super easy and got me what I needed to power my home and peace of mind for any power outages we may have in the future. Even though GVEC doesn’t provide my electricity they worked with my provider and took care of everything needed to make this project happen. Would highly recommend them for any solar jobs you are thinking about doing.

Outstanding service from the team members. Put in a service request in the AM and received a response in 10 minutes and was informed someone would come out to check on my system that afternoon due to a cancellation. The repair team arrived a couple hours later and got all my solar panels back up and running in 45 minutes. Outstanding customer service!!!

I got text but he never met or called me. I was home all week. Did he actually come by?

My GVEC tech Tyler T. was stellar. Finally got us back up and running after previously using another solar installer with terrible results. Glad they were able to help us, and cheaper than the previous company too. Well be using Tyler T for all solar repairs in the future.

Tremendously professional, the customer service experience that’s expected.

According to Schertz fire Department, the team that installed my Solar Panel system did not pass inspection. This is because they did not install the Solar panel system according to the blue print or the drawings. GVEC representative indicated that they will correct the issues, however, nothing has happened yet.

We love our GVEC! We have solar panels and now a solar battery! GVEC arrived early and completed the work of installing the Tesla batteries, Cole provided an explanation of how the Tesla app worked and what to do in the event we go totally off grid in power outage. Everyone was polite and professional. All the crew was GREAT!

Robert Frederick was the ultimate professional when he conducted an energy audit of our home. When I asked to reschedule, he happily offered another time just a couple of days later than the original visit. He spent time in the attic and other parts of the house before sitting down with us to discuss findings and offer recommendations. My wife and I appreciated his expertise and thoroughly enjoyed his visit.

Had a 1 PM appointment to talk solar system for house. GVEC confirmed time and date by phone, email and text. We had a 10:30 appointment outside of house. Our Ring doorbell shows GVEC rep at front door at 11:58. We got home at 12:07. Rep gone. We called GVEC and we’re told the appointment was changed to 12 without our knowledge. We didn’t expect to be back until 12;45 or so. We were told Representative did all required work and left and will send us a quote. Previously we were told it would require 2 1/2 hours. Apparently 5-10 minutes sufficed. On phone we were told he got pictures and info from back yard. Apparently my locked gate was not a problem.

GVEC installed a ground mount 10kw system for me and Im very happy with their work. The crew was very professional and did a great job.Everything is working well and I cant wait to see how much money Im going to save over the lifetime of this system. I highly recommend using GVEC Solar Services to install your solar if its available in your area.

The team that came out, Tanner, Pedro and Jesus were great, they prepped everything on day one and came back with panels on day two, they finished up and cleaned up afterwards. Pleasant to talk with and they gave a quick rundown of the system and what to expect. Great group of folks.

I had 16 panels removed for roof replacement. I also wanted to replace string inverter with micro inverters when they reinstalled the panels on the roof. they had to coordinate with the roofers on removal and reinstall. I would like to thank collen for coordinating every thing she was excellent. Wesley Adams and his crew did an excellent job on the uninstall and reinstall, the also added 4 new panels. every thing is up and working on dates and time they said. thank you

Crew arrived on time both days with a text from GVEC verifying the lead technician. Install was spread over 2 days because of the heat working on the roof but overall it went quickly.I was kept updated on progress, all my questions were answered and I got a run through of how to use the monitoring app and system operation.

Our estimator, Jeff, was fantastic. He answered all oir questions, gave honest recommendations and was very patient. He never made us feel rushed or a pain. He was able to provide all information at the time of the estimator and was able to provide basic information for other things that normally you would have to contact the office for. Jeff was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Good job GVEC picking and training this one.

I had a few questions about how my solar worked and why my bill was not what I was expecting and so I called my solar installer. My installer told me I needed to contact gvec if I had any questions about the meter and how it worked. So I did. They were able to set up an appointment quickly. The technician called me about 15 minutes before he got here. He was respectful and I appreciated that he was willing to answer any and all of my questions. He was able to explain in more detail than my solar panel installer how the electricity gets from the panels to my home and to the grid. He even took the time to answered some of my other bill related and bill reduction questions. Robert Frederick was the individual who came out and I am thankful for his knowledge, patience, and understanding.

We had a great experience with the sales rep. He was very personable, honest and up-front. We feel very confident about getting a new AC system from him. He was probably the only salesperson who ever tried to talk me into a cheaper option. I would definitely recommend GVEC and John.

The customer representative was on time, courteous and not pushy. We received three estimates based on size and seer rating. The 10 year parts and labor warranty that GVEC offered is very important to us and was not an additional cost. There are more additional services that were included in the estimate that were also included in the estimate. Straight talk with a straight price and no pressure.

Called GVEC to get an estimate for replacing both inside and outside units when the original (26 year old) HVAC called it quits.GVEC gave us an appointment for the next day at 11:30. Our GVEC tech was John Bailey. He arrived on time as well as calling well before to confirm our appointment, and to say he would be on time.John is an expert in his field. He evaluated our current system/took pictures and then went over the options for a replacementNow the part I was dreading....the cost.John is a professional that realizes the importance of the customer understanding all aspects of a system replacement. He went over everything and provided a breakdown that was easy to understand, and answered all of our questions.His recommendation prioritized the customer and not the company. Only GVEC and John had a “Customer First” estimate process.We haven’t made our final decision because of we have a home warranty company and their are issues regarding the subcontractors choice of system and accuracy of charges.I can say GVEC tops the list for us. We have gotten estimates higher and lower, as for the lowball estimates (you get what you pay for). But with GVEC you know your getting quality equipment and the pros for the install it, and then back it up years afterwards.

Great experience. Trevor came and in just a few minutes had me going again. He explained everything he did to me and showed me how to be able to read the meter in the future. After he was done explaining he informed me of how to connect with GVEC again if the problem happened again. I love it!

Services were pretty good. Reduction of utility cost in not as beneficial as salesperson predicted. Hard to contact GVEC personnel with issues/questions. Promises of return phone calls are never realized.

Robert came out today for an energy audit! He was very polite and professional. He was able to answer all of questions and concerns and did find the main energy source in our home that was pulling a lot of usage. He is even willing to follow up with us in a week regarding our energy usage! Im very grateful to have Robert come out today.

Robert Frederick came out to do a tonnage calculation so we can be ensured we get the correct size ac for our home, at our request. He was proffessional, Curteous and also appeared to really do a thorough measurement. Answered all questions and seemed to care about helping us. So far we are really liking GVEC as a company for our Ac needs.

It was only a matter of weeks between making an initial inquiry on getting solar panels until having them installed. GVEC were very efficient and responsive to my questions. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

Not very happy. On 1/10/2021 received a message at 5:49 pm that power was restored and it was not.I have an 89 year old parent who gets very cold due to kidney disease.I know GVEC works hard to restore but need better communication.

Súper happy with the energy audit visit by Robert Frederick. He provided a lot of information on how to improve energy efficiency and the results or lack of for changes in search of better AC and heat comfort. Huge plus the service they provide to help reduce the electric bill and increase climate comfort.

I tried multiple times to talk with someone via phone and in person. I received 1 phone call at an inconvenient time and no information other than a brochure which answered nothing more than a 5yr old could find online. As they are the only electric company in my area I have no choice but to use them, but for solar panels you may have more luck finding someone else.

Called first time and set up a follow up day and time for call. Didnt call as scheduled. He tried calling a month later. His excuse, we are kinda busy. Too busy for my money then. Company should be embarassed.
