Why I’m giving a five star this company is awesome. They come into your home. They don’t just tell you. You need a new system You have to change this right now. No, they don’t do that. They look at your option and say hey, we can try and fix this. See how far it gets you and then we can talk about another system company like that I will trust so for that I’m giving them a five star and if you call him about something, they’re right on top of it they don’t let you wait days. They’re like ASAP respond so thank you for a good customer service.

We really appreciate that our service specialist Derek was upfront and honest about his assessment. I feel very comfortable and confident using this company for any future AC needs that may come up. On a Saturday within a couple of hours John Lopez arrived to fix my unit. He provided the quickest and best fix to get my unit running that day. My unit is old but he wasnt pushy or offered useless upgrades. He just did the job. I asked about other things but he said they werent necessary. Will definitely use this company again.

I recently had a problem with my a/c unit not cooling. Technician came out and found a leak at a valve. Replaced that and charged the system. It was good for about a month but stopped cooling again. Another technician came out and was Fantastic. He identified the issue and the Dilmak team worked to make sure the warranty covered the parts. They were very upfront with the fact they should have caught this the first time and credited the previous bill. I absolutely know mistakes happen but measure of good people and companies are how you handle issues. From the office to the tech’s i believe Dilmak does the “right thing”. I would highly recommend Dilmak for all HVAC needs.

Needed to replace a 36 yr old Trane AC and gas heater back in May. We spent 3 days getting quotes from Various Companies, half wanted to sell us what they wanted to sell us (wanted a2 or multi stage unit), the other half didnt even send over a quote or were way to high. As a last ditch we called afew other A/C Companies, Dilmak being one of them.We ended up going with Dilmak and couldnt be happier. We originally wanted a Trane but were offered quotes for what I requested and what they suggested ( comparable unit by Ruud). The team at Dilmak were not pushy, explained the differences in units and how those units would perform in my home. They were extremely patient, informative and professional. The install went great and quick, their team were able to move my outside unit to a new location and completely install in one day!!!!!They stayed in contact through the whole process including assisting with CPS rebates and that process.Today, 2 months later, I cant be happier, its 102 degrees outside and my unit is keeping us at temp WHILE cycling through the day, even the neighbors are jealous 🙃We wont be using anyone for our A/C and heating needs but Dilmak and will be recommending them to our family and friends when the need arises.Thanks Trevor, Mario, install team and office ladies, youre amazing!!!!!!

We have nothing but great things to say about Dilmak. They’ve come and serviced our AC unit a handful of times and replaced our coils this summer. I love that it’s always quick to get an appt. The tech was here for annual inspection- 20 minutes. No problem 8/23. But. 3 weeks later, plumber was called to unclog drain on AC. Booo. Not very good at taking care of details!

My AC unit went out the night before and I called first thing in morning and they assured me that someone would be out in afternoon to check out unit. Technician Lionel came out and was phenomenal. He was friendly and knew what he was doing. He didn’t try and sell me on an entire system. He did what he could to replace what he could to get me through another summer and I was very appreciative of that. Will definitely use them again and refer them to friends.

My ac technician Derek Smolka is the reason why I have stayed with Dilmak Heating and AC. He first came to my house about 2-3 years ago in the summer and got my ac running at a fair cost when it mattered the most, during the Texas (SA) summer. Ever since then Derek is very thorough, knowledgeable and breaks down my needs in a simplified manner that made sense to me. Even though I still had a half year left on my 3 year service contract with my installing ac company, I decided to go with Dilmak for all my ac needs. Not just because of Derek because all of their employees have been great but he’s the main reason. Thank you Derek!

If I could give a 0 stars I would. I been with this company for a year. My maintenance contract renewal is up. I’m not renewing our contract. I have 6 homes with this company. On my last maintenance last week Tuesday, they sent a tech who I’ve never seen before. So I let him in and asked him to come look at my thermostat to see that my home was set at 72 but raises up to 78, I asked him to check make sure that it’s working. He stated he doesn’t know about my thermostat which is a Trane, like my hvac units. He stated he’s new with the company and only knows about Honeywell. Also he was not wearing any shoe boots. As he went in and out several times by the time he left there was dirt, grass and his dirty shoe prints everywhere he went. He also told me my compressor is bad and needed to be replaced. He told me it would cost 265.00. I told him I would call the office and check the price. Because we are on a maintenance plan, Ashley in the office said 95.00. So we told him to go ahead and change it. When he was done he came into tell us he was finish and left. About 40 min after he left, he came back to my home, entered my home without knocking or ringing the door bell. Ofcourse he startled me. He went straight into my husbands’s office for a min. When he left I went and asked my husband what he wanted and did he just walk into our home without ringing the door bell? My husband said yes. I’m like what the heck? Who does that? I called the office spoke to Ashley again and told her what happen. All you ever get is we apologize. She will let the manager know. Ok. So, the next day I was wondering why my home felt hot and muggy. I went to the thermostat and it was showing 75 and climbing. I checked the second thermostat because we have two units and that was doing the same thing. I called the office and spoke to Ashely, she again apologize and said she will talk to her manager and call me back. So I waited a couple hours and had to go do some errands. As I’m out doing errands I get a text message saying a technician is on the way to my home. I immediately called the office and again spoke to Ashely. I told her I waited and waited for that phone call and since no one called I left my home to do my errands and no one is home and not to send a tech there. Again, no communication they just assume to do whatever and expect you to be home. So when I got home my house is feeling pretty hot. I decided to call another hvac company to come take a look and so they did. They did there inspection up in the attic then asked to go outside to see the units. I gave them heads up that Dilmak’s tech just performed the maintenance and changed out a capacitor. I went outside with them and sure enough they already saw what was done wrong. The capacitor was wired wrong which caused the wires to burn out. The unit was only running on the fan which caused stress on my unit. I have pics to prove all this but Dilmak is jot interested in seeing them. I told them I have pics but no one asked to see them. I been trying to talk to a manager, or the owner but they obviously don’t want to talk to me. Waited since last week for someone to call me back after trying to call them but no manager, called. Finally today I spoke to Martina I think that’s how you say her name, again explained what had happen. I told her we want a refund from all the other homes that paid for the maintenance fee that I will not allow them to service after what I went thru. She said she spoke to her manager and they will not refund the money because we chose to not do business with them anymore. She stated she will send a different tech that she recommends and I said no. After all what I went thru I don’t want this company in my home or the other homes that are my family. She said they will refund back the 95 dollars for the capacitor that’s it. So remember before you decide to go with this company think three times. You never know who is coming into your home.

Derek showed up for an emergency service when he wasnt even the on call technician, he was simply close. He not only troubleshot the issue but was happy to walk me through it all. He was prompt, polite, professional and compassionate.

My tech, Derek Smolka, was efficient, knowledgeable and professional. We have a VERY small attic entrance and space and manoeuvering is challenging. he was able to do our biannual maintenance with ease and get us set up for the next 6 months visit.

I received an ‘on the way’ text with photo of the technician, and a call confirming he would be at my home within minutes.The service received remains equal to my first experience. The service tech, Rudy, was courteous, willing to listen to my concerns and then did his work in a very professional and respectful manner. I appreciate the way Dilmak conducts their business and the quality of their people.First time customer treated like a 20 year customer. Prompt reply, a tech that even took the time to patiently explain the furnace system and possible failure points as I looked over his shoulder. Found the problem, tracked down part to my 23 year old furnace and made the repair as well as cleaning up sloppy wiring by other companies. Truly a pleasure doing business with them. Followed up after visit just to make sure I was satisfied and if there were any further questions. I experienced what ‘service’ should be.June 3, 2024 I called on a Monday morning and within a couple of hours their technician Noah arrived. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained it and the pricing, and made the repair. Very pleased with his work and professionalism. Thank you!

What a great company! Dave came out on a weekend and went the extra mile to find the problem with my floor furnace. Came back the following day with the part and got it done with no problem at a reasonable price. Apparently doing 7mph over the speed limit isn’t good enough for this jerk because he rode my bumper then sped around me just to jump in front of me with no signal almost hitting my truck to “teach me a lesson” while I had a child in the vehicle. This happen Tuesday at 5pm on Beltway 8 South in Houston. If he isn’t smart enough not to do things like that in a company truck I sure wouldn’t want him handling my HVAC issues.OWNER RESPONDED TO MY REVIEW AND I APPRECIATED THE WAY HE HANDLE THE ISSUE.

Dilmak HVAC is a totally professional company. The service tech was very professional, very knowledgeable and took care of the problem with my system. Also, I received a text alerting his being enroute and also having arrived along with a picture of the tech so we could know what he looks like so we could know who is at the door. I have used Dilmak for a number of years now and they always keep things in good order. I use their preventative services on an older ac and they keep it running smooth.

I purchased a new AC system for my rental property. The installation went beautifully. The office staff has been excellent. As a real estate investor, my time is money. When I speak with the office staff, they always provide what I need. I dont have time to micromanage contractors. A vendor that is professional and always follows through is worth their weight in gold.

Great experience.. called at midnight and was given an option for a 2 hour window. However, we elected for 8 am the next morning. The AC technician was at the house before 8 am. Prior we got a text with his pic and name. He was knowledgeable, nice, and friendly. After he left, we got a call later that day to make sure the AC was working well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ highly recommend.

We called on a Sunday morning after our A/C stopped cooling the night before. The tech Enrique was out a few hours later and did a thorough inspection of both the outdoor and indoor units. He filled up our Freon which was very low and made some recommendations for our next steps for repair. He was knowledgeable and not pushy about Dilmaks available services. We appreciate the quick response and temporary fix that will carry us through until we can schedule a full repair. We highly recommend Dilmak if you have any emergency cooling issue!

Steven was my technician today. He accomplished my heating maintenance checkup. He was very professional. He called ahead of time and arrived on time. He took pictures of the work he accomplished and explained everything to me using the pictures. He even cleaned up before leaving. The call center (Sheila) was also very helpful setting up my appointment around my work schedule. I highly recommend Dilmak.

This is a great company to work with! I found them at the San Antonio Home and Garden show and signed up for their maintenance program. They were very prompt with scheduling my maintenance and Steven came out to look at my AC and heat. He was very friendly and professional. He identified two problems with my system and within two days was out again to make the repairs. The cost was very reasonable and Steven did a great job making the repairs. He was prompt, answered all of my questions, and stood behind his work. I would highly recommend this company for any of your HVAC needs!

We needed our aging attic air ducts replaced. I had three companies advise me. One was unprofessional, another seemed to barely glance at the attic and gave me a very pricey bid. Dilmak came out and gave me a thorough review of the situation with pictures. Their bid was substantially less for better quality materials. They also said they could do the job almost immediately. The work was completed in one day. I am very satisfied and will recommend them highly.

We came home from a day of running errands late in the evening and walked into a very hot situation. We scrambled around looking for providers. Servers we called were not available for up to 3 days later. We came across Dilmak and had an extremely experienced technician at our home within hours. He diagnosed and fixed the issue in minutes. Dilmak came out promptly and repaired the thermocouple. The technician, James and his helper, were very professional and courteous. The price they charged was very reasonable also. I will be happy to recommend them and use them in the future.

Found them online through a search and they have been incredibly responsive and helpful. We had our ducts cleaned and UV light/allergen cleaners installed and the difference in allergy symptoms was amazing! They have been the most communicative service we have ever worked with and everyone that has come to work at our home as been great. We have already signed up for the annual maintenance plan!

The motor was going out on the Carrier central unit. I called Delmar for a second opinion since the unit was turned off to avoid damage to the compressor and it was 85 degrees outside(i.e. hot inside and outside house) . John determined a new capacitor could be installed so we could have AC until the motor could be replaced, without damage to the compressor. John also checked the unit upstairs and said everything looked good. I was just so happy with an interim solution that worked, confirmation that the compressor was fine, capacitor was on available in his truck and very reasonable prices. OMG!! A/C started acting up on a Saturday morning. Contacted this company on their website and they were here in 1.5 hours. Oscar worked on our inside and outside unit for 4+ hours cleaning and servicing it until we were back in business. We decided to sign up for their maintenance service for a yearly fee, because of the quick response time and Oscars attention to detail. Probably paid a higher rate, but we appreciated the timely and friendly service.

The technician that came out was incredibly thorough . He looked at every possible reason for problem and through his process of elimination was able to determine the problem. They provide every option available to me and the cost . There was never any pressure ! The ladies at the office are amazing ! Derek and his crew were professional, friendly, left their workspace clean and were very knowledgeable.

Had them do a tune up a week or so ago, and got a quote on replacing a motor that was making loud noises. Yesterday the motor went out completely and they responded late in the evening and had a new motor out this morning.Great service, would definitely recommend.

I had a condensing unit burn out on me in the middle of summer (well, a week ago). They sent a technician the day we called and diagnosed it immediately. The part was under warranty, but the manufacturer wouldn’t have it in stock for possibly 4 weeks! We weren’t going to make it in June-July!! We worked with them to find a third party distributor who had the part, secured immediate freight from Dallas, and they worked until 2:30am last night to get the job done after what I can imagine was a super long day for those techs (I went to bed and left them to close the gate to my back yard). All gentlemen. They made sure to top our refrigerant off too.

First, I was quoted a price of $1850, for a new 40 gallon hot water heater. I chose to buy the unit on my own, $548. To install the unit, Dilmak charged me $850. A couple of weeks later, I have discovered that Dilmak, gouged me! They over charged me by about two hundred dollars.

Repaired the plenum that had separated from the main unit. Tech was early, completed the job quickly and did an awesome job.

Called them on 110/06/2019 at 3:30pm. They said they would send a tech to my home that day to install my thermostat.at 3:30 the lady told me i could possibly wait till around 6 for the installer to arrive. at 8pm i called the company back and she answered and said the tech was still coming and he actually lived really close to my home. its now 10:30pm and im disgusted. this company is a joke.

The Dilmak group was very polite a n d efficient

Weve used this company for years, but within the last year the service has become horrible! We had a routine maintenance plan set up with them, and this past summer they came out, and forgot to put the airhandler back together, and caused the the system to drain into the house. The overflow valve was upside down, and and the drain pipe was not re-connected. We didnt notice until we already had black mold growing. They came out again for routine maintenance, and we expressed our concerns. 2 days later the control unit ends up fried, and a tech came back to the house and caused a full house power surge that blew the compressor. Now we have to get an entire system replaced, because its the older r22 system. They quoted $8000 that runs about for a new system that runs about $2600 or $3000 to replace a $700 compressor.

BEWARE! BAIT AND SWITCH!They appear friendly, personable, seemingly knowledgeable. I received first one quote, then a second, then a third. The first for a basic, thorough, duct cleaning. The second, more expensive, for the best cleaning, which would include the unit in the closet, too (NO mention of anything else that might possibly need cleaning). I opted for the more expensive cleaning. The crew arrived, and after starting, one of the young men rushed back to tell me an additional piece (located in the closet) also needed cleaning (or serious consequences), and they could do it for an additional fee...raising the original quote from $498, to $798, to a final, very best, super cleaning, for over a $1,000. But, it was my choice, of course. I asked them to leave.
