Ferguson HVAC Supply

This one is way overdue. For moderate to more advanced DIYers. Twice they saved me $$$$$$$. The guys there are polite, professional, personal, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Thank youFrom having to replace entire unit in the house recommended by 99.8% of big box HVAC companies in San Antonio since i purchased the home in 2012. $12,000 -$15,000! Inside unit is1986 and out side unit is 1994ish both Trane brand. Fortunately unlike in my lawyer decision making, I always had a minimum of 3 different companies come out and look at it and I was always fortunate that someone figured out a simple inexpensive repair. Greatfully paid around $400.00 or so for repair but I also paid attention. Till this year every summer I would have to replace a $18 capacitor instead of $400 to HVAC company to do it for me. But this year it was more advanced parts and most HVAC parts companies do not sell to the public and I wasnt comfortable ordering parts online.They had the parts in house too! No waiting a week for shipping!The last 2 times A/C quit working it went from replace entire unit to less than $400.00for parts. And a few youtube videos later and A/C running like a champ!

Today I was helped by Salesman 061 at the San Antonio HVAC customer walk in. He was very helpful and took the time to point out the difference between my old capacitor and the new one, marking the rusty old one so I could hook up the new one correctly. Voila! I have cool air! Thank you!

Yadira was/IS The BEST!!I spent a good 20 minutes talking with her on the phone, as she very patiently walked me thru finding the part that I was looking for, even sending text pictures of what they had available!She DESERVES a nice RAISE!!

I been having problems with my AC unit turning off when it will get over 100, I had American home shield insurance that did nothing for me but just take my money. American Home Shield sent a HVAC tech from San Antonio cool zone LLC that told me I needed a new compressor. I watched few videos on YouTube an all I needed was the contactor! From $1,500 that I was told the compressor would cost me it went to $15 contactor! Ferguson HVAC supply has AC parts! Its a good store! I definitely recommend it.

Was told to come in with photos to get some parts, drove a half hour across town for the counter guys to tell me to pound sand and read their online catalog (everything is out of stock).

Been using Fergusons for my Daikin and Bosch purchases for about 6 months now. Counter does a great job, outside sales are resources, they do not just take a transactional approach to sales, but rather identify needs withing your organization so they can be a resource. Im impressed, not a lot of HVAC Distribution outlets take this approach, and I appreciate it! JECIII

Dont waste your time here. This place will only sell to you if your a licensed electrician. Not for public/personal purchase. I did call before stopping here and got the opposite response.

It’s a dope spot if you’re in need of dope. But seriously, good people with plenty of knowledge.

Disappointed didnt have my part for my dryer. Was advised to redneck rig it.
