TX Builder, Attic Insulation & Air Duct Cleaning Specialist

I recently had the pleasure of hiring TX Builder to clean out my air ducts and replace insulation in my attic. The consultation was very thorough and the owner answered any questions I had. Tony was our tech and arrived promptly and did a wonderful job - the insulation came out great and my air ducts look like new! My family suffers allergies and it has been such a relief to be able to breathe clean air in our house again. Thank you, I highly recommend these guys!

Tony came out to look at fireplace and told me duct work was included in inspection. Thank goodness . The duct work was a mess and disgusting. So thankful they came out. Today we have all new duct work and a working fireplace. They were very professional and extremely tidy. I highly recommend

The new dryer we purchased was giving discharge errors. TX Builders came out and checked our dryer vent. The builder had installed the vent pipe incorrectly. The techs from TX Builders corrected the issue with the vent pipe in less than 2 hours. Great service and very professional!

Fast response and great service. I had an excellent experience with Tony and the TX Builder team. Our attic and crawlspace were dirty with a ton of rat and rodent droppings. They pulled all of it out and removed the insulation, cleaned it out, sanitized the attic, put in new ductwork and installed new attic insulation. I wish we had done it years ago. I highly recommend Tony. I feel so much better now about the air my family is breathing.

Awesome work from TX Builder on rodent proofing my attic and replacing old, deteriorating insulation. Tony was my rep and did an excellent job communicating problem areas inspecting the attic and showing pictures of all areas work would be done. Tony, Luis, and Ernesto came out to perform the work and were very professional, friendly, and communicative on progress and issues they saw / fixed. Ive already noticed the new insulation doing a better job, and seeing all the holes they filled to rodent proof my attic has given me a lot of peace of mind!

Needing our attic to be refinished we turned to TX Builder since the place we bought was over 40 years old. Even after the extensive remodel it is and beautiful but they left the attic a mess. Tony met with us, explained the process and fees we decided it was time to clean this up and seal it. Came out the next day prepared to do the job but had to wait a since they were busy, no surprise since they do such a good job. The guys sealed off the hallway, vestibule and front entrance and went to work removing all of the old junk in our attic. No mess at all to the house! Attic was cleaned, sanitized, sealed and they also installed a solar attic fan in addition to the insulation which was a great investment. Not only is it much quieter and cleaner but the house doesnt fluctuate temperature and feels so much more sound in our little abode. How does an organization as unprofessional as this one have a high rating? Because they flag bad reviews and attempt to have them removed. This is the fifth time I have had repost my review.Update. On June 24 customer service said they would call me back and process a partial refund... Still no call. On June 25 the owner said he would refund me via PayPal or Zelle... Still nothing.I failed to do my due diligence.My experience with TX Builder has been riddled with terrible communication, untimeliness, and lies. I originally reached out to TX Builder to have my AC ducts cleaned and did receive a prompt reply at which time an appointment was scheduled. However, within an hour I received another phone call rescheduling my appointment to the following the week. No big deal I understand the nature of changing demands. I scheduled my obligations based on the provided time window of between 10-12. However, at 12:30 no one had shown up, so I decided to call and check on the status. After leaving a voice mail I received a callback saying they would be there in an hour... Almost three hours later the owner finally showed up. Upon their arrival the first thing I noticed was the California license plates on their truck (TX Builder?) The duo quickly began looking at the AC system and presented options for duct cleaning and duct replacement. The owner stated the products they use for replacement are the best and come with a ten-year warranty as well as an annual cleaning. The estimated price appeared good, so I agreed and wrote a check.Excited about the price I began to ask around when I was cautioned that the price seemed unrealistic for the scope of the project. Since I had not received any written correspondence from TX Builder detailing the materials and warranty I reached out directly and requested the information. The information I was provided was vague and generic offering no information in regard to materials and merely stating 10-year warranty. The lack of actual information combined with an inoperable website link and apartment listed as the business address set off my alarm bells. Therefore, not knowing if TX Builder procured their materials from Amazon (Hence the cheap estimate) I decided to cancel the duct installation. During this phone call with the owner he expressed his power to do the job for free if I was not satisfied, yet I still declined and instead inquired about TX Builder installing a UV light in my HVAC unit rather than requesting a refund. The original estimates I received from TX Builder included a UV light at a cost of $400. However, suddenly the only light option was $2500. Confused I requested more information about the light at which time the owner said he would text me the information. However, he never actually did text me the information or called to discuss options.After several days I called back confused as to why I had never received the information and requested a refund. The owner who had so much power to negotiate before stated he had to talk to the owner (?) first and would call me back. The TX Builder Motto is say anything and follow through with nothing because once again I did not receive a call back. Therefore, I decided to call back again at which time I was told the same thing only this time customer service called me back and stated I would receive a partial refund, but she would have to call me back. Big surprise, she never called me back. Looking for a conclusion to my interactions with this unprofessional company I decided to call the owner one last time and surprisingly he agreed to refund me via PayPal or Zelle. However, the TX Builder motto held true, and the owner was merely saying whatever he wanted with no intention of following through.This organization is as unprofessional as they come in every way possible and then some. I would highly recommend you find a company that believes in honesty and integrity rather than do business with this shady organization.

I contacted tx bulder due to rodent issues in my home and I wanted to know if they were active in my attic. TX Builder scheduled me for a free inspection and confirmed my suspicions. I went ahead and scheduled for services with them and had insulation removal, sanitation, rodent proofing, and new insulation all done within 3 days of my initial inspection. The team that came to my house was very polite, communicated with me throughout the entire process, provided before and after photos, and completed all the work in 4 hours. I am extremely satisfied. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone who has rodent issues or who needs any attic services.

Ok, so A few weeks ago we heard weird scratching noises from above our head - the attic space, it freaked us out and we didnt know where to turn. A quick search and we found TX Builder team and we couldnt be happier, Tony and his team did an excellent job removing old debris and insulation to find out all the rat spots which were seals up and sanitize, Tony also deep cleaned our air ducts system to make sure we dont have any more of those rats feces and poop anywhere in our house. Now our home feels safe again, thank you TX Builder!

Tx builder was one of a few estimates i got. Tony was the most communicative and thorough when describing the issues that he found in our attic, the rationale behind the cost and prescribed services and why we should consider choosing tx builder. Tony was the only sales consultant who actually went into the attic and looked around, before issuing the estimate.His team arrived on time on the day of the service. They were professional, courteous and prepped the workspace diligently. I felt they went above and beyond to find a suitable electrical outlet for the gable fan and also thoroughly hosed off the driveway after the job was done. Attic cleaning and insulation isnt something that you get often, but I would most certainly use them again in the future.

Came out and diagnosed my problem within minutes of arriving they took video of my attic and confirmed my suspicions. Yes we had rat problems. They gave me a great price in comparison to others, and returned the following week and handled it. They vacuumed out all of my old insulation, disinfected the whole area, installed new insulation and rat proofed my entire attic.

DO NOT USE TX BUILDER. They will give you a FALSE presentation of who they are and what skills they have to offer!!... After rescheduling my own daily work life to meet with them on an appointment. I had Multiple work areas that needed repair. TX Attic came out, we went thru all the areas, and afterward I notice they DID NOT WRITE DOWN ONE SINGLE NOTE on what to do on my repairs!!!... JOSEPH, TONI are all to blame for NOT returning any of my 5 messages asking for my Estimates, which I never received!!... Finally, after a month, I called and spoke with JOSEPH, he immediately acted like he did not care and wanted to dismiss me for bothering him!!... I cannot believe that these people have a 5.0* stars with 12 Reviews........ We worked with TX builder to renovate our main bathroom and closet. We had a tiny bathroom and we wanted to combine it with our closet to have more usable space. Our project manager Eden, gave us a good quote and walked us through the project from the design to completion. We had some slight hiccups during installation, but the team were able to quickly resolve any issues we ran into. Overall we are very happy with the results, we have beautiful new bathroom and closet which matches our vision from the start.

My attic is one place in the house I hardly ever see. Its almost a place I want to forget. Recently, thanks to some unwelcomed guests, I had no choice. Rodents where wrecking HVAC in my attic and I could hear it. Every night, around 2 am, I would hear scampering and clawing. Finally, after motivation from the family, I decided to take a stand. I went into the attic and was quickly disgusted with the mess these critters made. I had to call in the big guns. As new Texans, we were in need of an honest and reputable company to do major duct work and insulation in our home and Tony and crew did just that. From the get- go, Tony commuicated without fail, provided timely updates, and got his crew here on time. During the process, we had to halt the crew because of unforseen issues (nothing to do with TX Builders) and Tony was gracious and professional in understanding our dilemna.
