Fantastic experience. We submitted a request online, we were called the same day to set up an appointment, which was able to be scheduled just 2 days out. Max took us through our water-heater options and made fair recommendations based on our situation, and expectations for how long we expect to be in the home. He discovered an unexpected extra issue, and was assisted by Michael to resolve that issue and truly protect our repair and home investment. They reminded us that we can call them for other appliances as well. Great job by both gentlemen.

Jesse R. Martinez, with Elmers Plumbing, did a phenomenal job. He will definitely be my go-to plumber from now on. I was not only happy with his work performance and ethic, but I was also amazed on how knowledgeable he was about his profession. I am extremely grateful for the knowledge he shared with me because he potentially saved us money on future medical visits, and potentially fatal consequences. I highly recommend him for all your plumbing needs and wants. They also offer military discount, which in my book, is a major plus. I would definitely rate 10/5 if I could.

I recently purchased a whole new ac and heating system back in late December. I am very well please with the technicians hard work and dedication. The only downside to this company is that they do not keep their word. I was informed that if the installation was not finished within the promised date that there was a $500 guarantee money back. As it states in the contract I signed it and was happy for them to get everything up and running the next day. Unfortunately not everything worked as promised by the end of the day. I had to wait about a week longer before I could use the heating system. I then proceed to ask Larry Reyes the sale representative and his boss Darwin if the guarantee $500 money back would apply to me. They both responded to me yes, Darwin then told me my refund was coming in a couple weeks. This was as of Jan 7th, 2025. It is now Feb 26th,2025 and I have yet to receive a check for $500. I messaged Darwin February 12th, 2025 to see what happened but no response. I have all the messages still for documentation.Therefor the only issue I have with this company is they do not keep their word even though its on the signed ontract that I still have. So I am very disappointed with what was all promised. I feel as though this company should take the guarantee $500 out of the signed documents.Dont make promises you cant keep! Its sad to say I spent 20k on a company that didnt stand on what they said.So for that reason I wont be buying another HVAC system from this company for my other house nor will I be recommending this company to my friends and family. Why give me a contract to sign if it seems like non of the guarantees apply when things fail? Larry the sales guy convinced me that this company was different from all the other companys with all the guarantees and benefits, but it all seems the same. Once you sign the contract, nothing they say sticks, even on paper. So dont make promises you dont plan to keep as a company! Down below is the pictures of the contract that were signed but not promised.

I had a back up of sewage in my tubs on 12/5 in the evening. I called Elmers for an emergency appointment and they can fairly fast. The gentleman that came did what he could and semi diagnosed the problem. The next day another person came and assessed the problem and cleared the blockage and told me I had several breaks in the my pipe leading out of the house. The price for repair seemed extremely high but I needed the fix, I couldn’t use any water or plumbing in my house. The next day, a crew showed up to start digging, it wasn’t a full days work and no one returned until 2 days later. Again, more digging by one man on this day. The next day no one again. After a few days I called Toby to find out what the plan was to finish he said someone will be out soon. The next day a crew showed up around noon sat and ate lunch worked for a few hours and left. Nothing done for days again. I called Toby no response. A few days later the plumbers came to fix the pipe. Toby informed me on 12/12 that the City of Schertz would be out on 12/16 to inspect the work and then they would close up the trench in my yard. On 12/16 Toby called to say the inspection went well and they would our “probably” on 12/17. Today is 12/30 (2weeks) since the city inspection and I can’t even get a return call from Toby and I have called numerous times. Not only did they take advantage of me financially.( I have since asked around to reputable plumbers who shook they’re heads at the cost of the job), my yard is a safety hazard as well as creating a possible issue with my foundation as it had rained several times and there is a 10 foot tunnel under my house and front porch (as you can see in the pics). I am not one to complain or leave reviews but the fact that is company is a pretty well known business in the area it is very disheartening that I am in this situation after spending a great deal of money. Needless to say I am seeking legal council and have reached out to the BBB. Just took the time to leave this for the next person who could possibly end up where I am!

I was very pleased with the Father and Son team. They were clean, on time and did a fantastic job in cleaning my duct cleaning. I cant say enough about these 2 guys being a father and son team. Caring with a warm heart and I can see they take their job seriously in doing a great job to satisfy their customer. I highly recommend them to everyone who needs service. Thank you!

In Texas, we recently endured a winter freeze, leaving us without heat during these chilly days. With another cold front on the horizon this week, my family and I are proactively reaching out to multiple AC businesses to secure a reliable solution before the temperatures drop again. Its an important time for us as we prepare for whats ahead. My husband discovered Elemer company in our neighborhood, and after scheduling an appointment, we were impressed with the results. I had an exceptional experience with this company! Their customer service is outstanding, and the product exceeded my expectations. My water softener system was leaking & they couldn’t get me seen within a week, Elmers came out the next morning evaluated &fixed everything. They were polite efficient resolved my problem as experts. Price was very good with there guaranty . Best plumbing service I have ever experienced in over 40 years of homeownership! Highly recommend to everyone!

We appreciate their effort to make things right and are hopeful for better experiences moving forward. 4/5 stars.We contacted Elmer’s Home Services earlier this year to have our HVAC units inspected before summer. During that process, we spent $4,000 to become “members,” which included biannual maintenance (summer and winter inspections) and UV purification installed for our units. At first, this seemed like a good investment. However, in October, we encountered an issue and spoke with a manager named Isaac, who agreed to address it and arrange for a partial reimbursement.Since then, we’ve been completely let down. Despite making five calls to Isaac and five more to accounting, we have not received any returned calls or updates. The lack of follow-through is unacceptable. We had hoped that resolving this matter would preserve our maintenance relationship, but the repeated silence and disregard for our concerns make it clear where their priorities lie.Elmer’s Home Services made an effort to seem like they cared initially, likely to secure our membership and additional spending of our money towards products and services, but once we were “on the hook,” it feels like we’ve been forgotten. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing, and I can’t recommend them to anyone seeking reliable service or accountability. And I most definitely cannot recommend them to any of my clients! One star.

The dispatch lady who took my call was quick. In checking if they had availability for today. The main shower tub was leaking for few days now. When the Tech. arrived {Thomas P.}, he was very professional, communicative, and kind. In explaining the whole process of the repair. Overall, very satisfied with the service! Keeping you all for my home needs.

Jason Oliphant came to find out why we had a leak in our garage. Not only did he find out quickly, told us what the problem was and didnt even charge us for a service fee. Wow!!! We are retired & on a fixed budget.God is Good!!!Next time you need some plumbing work, be sure to call Elmers n ask for Jason.He is so knowledgeable, kind & gets right to the point!!! Guess what else? We are needing a water softener replacement.Because we trust Jason a lot, guess whos coming next week to replace our softener! Yep! U guessed it! 🫂🫂 He helped us with the best deal!

Levy Pedraza was extremely helpful, fast and reliable! He came on a super short notice when my heating stopped working on one of the coldest days and was able to find the solution within minutes! I had my heating back on in no time, will definitely continue to call for anything I may need in the future!

Air conditioning went out Thursday, Elmer’s came by and planned out the new one Friday and by Saturday they had completely installed our new air conditioning system. They were very efficient, kind, and above all professional. We were very satisfied with the results, we had a few issues that they worked out very quickly with no hassle. They taught us how to maintain our new equipment and it was all very clear and easy to understand. The project manager was Anthony Guerra, he handled all of our paperwork and explained what systems they offered. Ian M, Anthony Bornego, Devon Cox and several other workers assisted with the installation. They worked quickly and they were courteous to our home, even cleaning up fiberglass afterwards. We were very satisfied with the end result and they were a pleasure to work with.

Unit installed went out a few times but Elmers has always made it right. Specifically John S.the install manager, Lorenzo and Davelyn all provided 5 star service. I would definitely recommend! They go above and beyond.

Jason recently visited my home to provide an estimate for heat pump replacement. Jason was prompt, professional and courteous. Furthermore, Jason was very knowledgeable about his products and presented numerous options to weigh in my overall decision.

Hector and Carlos did an amazing job from start to finish. Customer service was top notch from every employee. Really appreciate how they took extreme pride in their work and craft. Everyone including Tony and Julian really put our needs and concern for first. I love how they understood our family concerns and made it a priority. HVAC technician Jonathon Herbert recently serviced our AC unit for its yearly maintenance and he was amazing!! He is very knowledgeable in his field and very respectful. I recently purchased a new home and was surprised when the city notified me of a major leak. My first call was to to Elmers and the agent who took my call was empathetic, professional, and upfront about the timeline for scheduling a consultation. He booked my appointment for first thing the next morning. Joseph and Shane arrived on time the following day to evaluate the situation, then presented a variety of service options (including financing) while answering all my questions along the way. As a first time homebuyer, they understood this was another new experience for me and quickly came up with a creative solution to preserve my yard, prevent future risk to the new pipes, and contacted the city while on-site to be sure work could begin today. I cannot begin to describe the relief I felt when Joseph and Shane began breaking down the affordable service options which included a 10yr warranty. Im so grateful for their expertise and compassion towards the situation we were facing.Gonzalo was out at the property before end of day to complete a post service inspection and gave me the thumbs up. The entire Elmers team truly provided a memorable experience and affirmed my choice to call them my go-to provider for plumbing needs.

Elmers workers--Nathan, Tim, Wesley, Felix, Hector, and Joe Anthony went out past weekend to do repair, partial duct replacement, and duct cleaning. All of them were professional, and friendly. I am pleased with work. My bedroom is no longer cold and my breathing has improved.

Mario Olivares did a great job servicing my family with our AC concerns. He was patient, kind, and was very thorough when addressing our questions. Appreciate him building rapport with my husband and I as a fellow jar head! He made us feel confident that we were making the right decision!

Day 2 (12/3/2024): Joseph and Adam thoroughly investigated to find a leak inside and outside the house. The result was that the leak was associated with the water flowing in and out of the swimming pool. Its a simple fix and something the pool tech can do. In addition, they discovered that the water pump connected to the hot water heater to send hot water to the bathrooms was burned out. They replaced the pump and processed a timer to keep it from burning out in the future.More professional, knowledgeable jobs by Elmers.Day 1 (12/2/2024) Arnaldo went above and beyond. He was assigned to look at our water softening system. Hours later and after conducting a full review of our plumbing system, Arnaldo determined we needed further experienced help. We were so pleased with his professionalism and friendliness and look forward to further work from Arnaldo and other Elmers technicians to take care of all of our needs. We highly recommend Elmers Home Services. Thank you Arnaldo!

Mario was super helpful in reviewing options for our downstairs unit. This is my 2nd time using Elmer’s and I highly recommend. From scheduling to discussing service options, everyone is kind, friendly and quick to get the job done!

My HVAC died this morning. Got and appointment and tech arrived by 1PM. Corey Mitchell was knowledgeable and courteous. Promptly diagnosed the issue and repaired. Job was completed and system returned to service by 2:30PM. Corey did a great job and reflected pride and professionalism on both himself and Elmer’s!

We had a perfectly working air conditioner and heating unit a day ago. We called Elmer’s out for a second opinion on some service work that we needed on our unit no hurry to get any of this done. They came out on Saturday morning and did the work and as a Sunday night, we have no heat and it’s going to freeze tonight. Do not recommend as the text that came out on Saturday didn’t even check the work to make sure it was working properly

We called Elmers for heater repair in January, it was cold! We had to wait 3 days for someone to come out. This technician worked under an hour, installed one part in the heater, charged $750 and left with the heater still not working! He did not have enough knowledge to diagnose the problem correctly. When we called to speak to a manager and get the job finished, we were promised calls back that never happened, and again we were expected to wait for 2 days, so we hired another company. They finished the job right away before Elmers even called us back! The problem was a short in wiring, the heater did not even need a new part. Elmers stole from us with their rates and refused to reduce any of the bill even though they left us still without heat. NEVER TRUST Elmers. They are just another greedy company looking for vulnerable people to overcharge.

A huge thanks to Mario Olivares for coming to our home and fixing our AC! He was super friendly and really knew what he was doing. He figured out the problem fast and had everything working again in no time. We’re so grateful for his help, especially since multiple other companies came and never mentioned the real issue. Highly recommend him if you ever need HVAC service. Thanks again, Mario!

Joseph Ruiz & Arnaldo Almira were absolutely amazing! I was surprised and so pleased with their prompt response on a Sunday to a major leak in my master bath. They were able to diagnose the problem and today Joseph came up with an innovative solution that avoided affecting the tile surrounds on the tub. This also limited the restoration work required. They represent your company well.I also heard from Weston Riedel whom I know from past experience and he is a great representative for Elmers as well.

After 10 years of fighting with an inadequate air conditioning system installed by the builder, I hired Elmer’s to install a whole new system, or so I thought. They left the old plenum which was made of honeycomb and installed heavy ducting on top of it. Within three months, the plenum had collapsed in on itself and I was cooling the attic and not my house. My June electrical bill was over $500.00 and my July electrical bill is estimated to be over $800 due to the poor workmanship of Elmer’s installers.Gabriel Pruitte saved Elmer’s from me taking them to Small Claims Court. During the 4th of July weekend, he installed a metal plenum and installed the ducting to the side of it instead on top of it. He did an excellent job in repairing the mess the previous Elmer’s installers left behind. Gabrielle is very knowledgeable in his job, takes pride in his work, and has excellent work ethics.We trusted and paid thousands of dollars for Elmer’s to install an air conditioning system and they failed the first time. This is not what I would expect from an A+ rating from the BBB. Elmer’s has on their website “A Promise, We do it right”, clearly that was not true the first time. Elmer’s also has on their website “we will never do anything to lose the trust you have in us”, however I’m not to sure I trust any of your installers other than Gabriel.The first picture is what it look like after the first installers. Notice the heavy ducting and the separation. The second picture is what Gabriel installed, see the difference.

Jackson Cunningham did a great job and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. I request him on every visit to ensure a great transaction. He went above and beyond on this service and appreciate his great work. You hope he stays with the company to give you more satisfied customers!!! Great job!!!

Mario was very thorough and honest. We had come to Elmer’s for a second quote and thank goodness we did. Mario told us the parts we needed to replace opposed to replacing our whole unit. He made it easy to understand and walked through each part so we could see why he was making his recommendations.

Installation and customer service pretty good. Salesman that gives you the bid, SKETCHY. Make sure your read all your fine print!!!!! I was supposed to get the same units I had which were heat pumps and got a/c units with heat strips. At least I got a ten year warranty. See if that holds true.

I am disappointed with customer service. I spoke to Kim to schedule an appointment for someone to come out. She didn’t take down all my information. Today Serena called left a message and spoke extremely quickly unable to understand the message, so I called back spoke to Brianna, informed me that Serena was not available to speak to a possible future customer, she was not helpful requested a manager unable to connect me to one. No one is available everyone has to call you back. This tells me that they have horrible customer service and do not care about customers. I will take my business elsewhere. Don’t see the point of moving forward with Elmers.

I had Henry Diaz come fix part of my AC unit that was damaged when installing my water heater. Henry was super professional, worked quickly with all his knowledge. We also have a new born in the home and he was super respectful of our space and was quiet while doing his work, which was amazing. Would definitely request him again if possible.

I had an emergency issue today (SAWS sent an email saying my water was running for a couple of days straight). I called and their van showed up within an hour. Jesse and Josue were excellent. They found the leak quickly and were able to repair it without any problems. Both were extremely polite and answered our plumbing questions. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I highly recommend Elmers!

Elmers did a terrific job! Jason came out and cleared the clogged sewer line, replaced my hall bathroom toilet and even diagnosed a leak in my water heater. He also diagnosed a larger issue which Chris and his crew came out and completed the repair in one day. Raymond and Juan along with the excavation crew came out the next day to backfill the holes. They even offered to fill some other holes in our front yard with the leftover dirt. Steven called and followed up to validate if the service was completed satisfactorily. The entire Elmers crew and office dispatch staff provided exceptional customer service! Thank you for everything!

Back in May, my A/C went out Elmer’s install a new complete new A/C system, the system in the attic leak water everywhere damaged the ceiling, my floors. Till this day which is November, I’m still waiting for them to fix everything. I call them everyday the worst customer service! I have cancer, and they drive around in pink vehicles with pink ribbons on them. So I trusted them but they’re frauds! They don’t stand by “Doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.” Ofelia Zubiate would be very disappointed if she knew how I was treated. If you’re reading this stay away from this company!!!

Elmers plumbing was quick to respond and service even on a weekend! With knowledgeable staff they were able to pinpoint our problem pretty quickly. To add to their services, we worked with 24 hour Flood Pros of San Antonio to help clean up our flooded carpet. Thank god for quick service from them as well, as they prevented mold build up and further damage, while explaining everything that was going on.

Ian provided great service and response!Updated review after unit experiencing issues less than 24 hours later (same area worked on not a new issue). Was told I would be required to pay another service charge to check their quality of service. When questioned, said they would have a tech call me…still waiting.

Ian Martinez was exceptional. He did not take shortcuts. He was very thorough and explained in detail. Definitely a good representative for the company. Dispatcher Heaven also did a great job! I am definitely recommending On time Elmer to my friends. I will definitely call them for my needs again.

Called this morning because there was a leak on my downstairs ceiling from my upstairs bathroom. They sent Patrick K. out in less than an hour of that call. He was able to pinpoint the issue, get supplies and fix my leak same day. As you can imagine, that’s not something you want to deal with the day after Christmas. I was able to apply for an easy 6 month payment plan. I’m super happy with the company and customer service. He even patched my hole up until I can find a drywall person. He also informed me of their yearly plans for HVAC and plumbing, which I will be signing up for as soon as my useless home warranty plan is up. Thanks y’all!

I cant say enough good things about young Ian and the great service he provided yesterday. He was truly professional and kept me informed of the maintenance he was going to perform on the heating system. He corrected leaks in the attic, lifted a duct system which was pinched, checked the compressors and advised me of their status. He made recommendations on how to keep the home warm without using excessive power.I request that Ian visit our home again for the summer maintenance program. He represents Elmers very well.

My mom and I live in a home that has been here since the 1920s. Its an old house! We recently had a new toilet put in the main bathroom and shortly after started noticing a sewage smell and our toilets were not flushing properly. I was having surgery at the time so the problem could not be looked at. My mother is a spritely senior on a fixed income and I help take care of her. The day after coming home from the hospital we really started having problems with the toilet. I knew it was time to call a professional. I have always believed in the integrity of Elmers Plumbing because of the previous reviews (I researched!) and commercials which have always stuck with me. Elmers integrity and love for his parents always showed through the camera and you can hear it in his voice. THIS idea and philosophy are exceptionally important to us because keeping the integrity of the house is crucial as this is a generational house. It was bought and cared for by my grandparents who were able to live here until death. Then it became my moms. Eventually it will be mine and my sons. I just knew Elmers was the company to call. I have not been disappointed. The receptionist was kind and very straightforward. When Michael the scheduler called about the tech coming out he was also the same. Shayne the first tech was right on time. He was kind, knowledgeable and exceptionally patient. He explained everything very well as he went along. He let us know pricing was as he went along too. Once he determined the problems (it wasnt just one!) he set to work. He let us know that he was bringing a senior tech to come and further assist as the problems were becoming complicated. Joseph and Adam showed up right away. They had a great attitude and were very patient and explained everything so we could understand and make the best financial decision. Joseph was very helpful on the financial stuff. He answered my questions very clearly and his experience shows. He helped us get a payment plan set up. They had to call a fourth person, Arnaldo the jetter because the problem extended into the backyard. He also came quickly and was very very kind. They have wonderful teamwork skills and ALL their experience shows. They all explained what the whole fix was going to be. They set to work and were neat, clean, and have got the job done. We are fixed and we can rest assured for no more issues for a long time. They even helped keep the cat inside! I knew I made the right choice with Elmers Plumbing and I will call them again for any issues. The team was great, patient, explanatory, professional, honest and polite. The quality of work was excellent and professional. If you need a plumber, this is the company to call. Thank you Elmers (especially Shayne, Joseph, Adam, and Arnaldo) YOU ALL ROCK!

Theyre impeccable from start to finish. They kept me in the loopthrough the whole process. Everybody was very professional and I really felt they had my best interest at heart and wanted to get my water heater fixed. A++

Called Elmers at the beginning of April because my condenser was locking up. They send someone out to do a full system check the next day which was fine. We get the report and were told that the capacitor is and all the electronics are pretty warn out. So we get sold this Diamond package that was supposed to be full electronics replacement, new filters, duct cleaning, plenum replacement, full inside and outside chemical cleanings. The whole works, were told this will get our system up and running and we wont have any more problems. It then takes 3 days and me having to call them back to get all this work done and it still was not completed to the spec we were promised. Only half the electronics got replaced and the outside coil did not get cleaned. The tech that came out for this first set of work was late multiple times and would be here all day taking his sweet time. 2 weeks later the condenser locks up again, go figure. So I call back and they say they are sending a tech the following day. Tech comes out and tests everything now telling us our motor was bad at the condenser and it would be another large sum of money for a replacement. I refused to pay more so then I get a call that another inspector will be out 2 days from then. We are now going into 4 days of it being 85 in the house and no solutions. Inspector shows up on day 4 an hour and a half late. and is trying to sell us on the motor or full replacement. We were offered a full replacement with partial reimbursement and discount which was nice sure. We opt for the full replacement knowing our system is 19 years old (the first inspector knew this as well). The night of day 4 they FINALLY decide to bring us window units to hold over. Day 5 installers show up to do the replacement and it went smooth. That is the only thing that has been smooth with this company. From very poor communication, not calling when someone is on there way, randomly having people from the company showing up at our door when we arent expecting them, to CONSTANTLY being late when we have set times and dates. The installers Mike and Jason were awesome, I appreciate them being very straight forward and giving updates throughout the install. But this has been ridiculously of an experience. I travel for work a lot during the day and my wife works nights so we dont have time for all this running around and games being played with this company. And 4 days of it being 85+ before bringing us window units is absurd. We have dogs as well and it has been way too hot for them. I cannot and will not ever recommend this company to anyone. It baffles me how they just dont seem to care and just want your money. Stay away from these people. (Only photos I have are after the clean and electrical replacement, doesnt look very clean to me.)

Jason Olliphant {MASTER PLUMBER}. Saves the Day!This Sunday 2/16/25, I noticed a leak in our garage and i had to shut the main water off to our home. I thought great! On a Sunday and the cold front coming, thought we might be without water for a few days. One of our water softener tanks sprung a leak. The Problem was the water fittings on the tank had broken, and it is a proprietary fitting. I called Elmers Home Services and explained to the receptionist my problem. She told me it would be Tuesday before they could come out. Ten minutes after we hung up Jason Olliphant had called my wife and said he was on his way over.Jasons knowledge and experience as a plumber was well displayed. Jason was very professional, and approachable as well. Within minutes, Jason provided us a safe alternate solution, allowing us to turn our water back on to our home. Jason said he would see us in the morning. Just as mentioned, Jason was here at our home Monday morning to replace all water connections and restore the tanks back to new condition.I do however feel bad. I was talking with Jason while he got started and then left him alone and took my dog out to the yard to toss the ball. When i was coming back, I noticed Jason still had some parts spread out to install so i thought Jason might be awhile. So I took my dog to the backyard and cleaned out her 5 gallon bucket of water and refilled it for her. Long story short, Jason was able to replace all the tanks parts and return them to new condition in no time.So HERE IS WHY I FEEL BAD. I left Jason hanging out for a while, waiting for me! and i failed to tell him he could come get me in the back yard if he had finished, I am not sure how long you were waiting Sir? but I wanted to let you know that I feel bad about leaving you hanging. I should have been there when you finished, So for that I apologize. My wife returned from the store and said you were in your truck waiting. I tried to call the number on your business card but it goes straight to the office. I was hoping to catch you on your way down the road to let you know how bad I felt .On a good note: Jason was outstanding! It is evident by his work ethic, that he is highly skilled at his profession. THANK YOU, JASON. It is great to see the old values in people, those who take pride in their work and for the Name on their uniform. Great for business! THANK YOU AGAIN JASON. Your time was greatly appreciated. Our heat went out and we decided to call Elmers. Tech Nathan Gilbert came during the time frame dispatch gave us. Nathan was very thorough and answered all questions we had. Unfortunately since ot was the weekend we couldnt get it fixed until Monday. Monday came around and sure enough he called us with prices with all the options we had discussed. He explained each option throughly and once we selected option that best fit our budget he was here to fix unit. Very fast and efficient. Would definitely recommend Elmers and Nathan he is very knowledgeable and professional.

The technician, Corey, went above and beyond in addressing the HVAC system issues that were found. He did a great job explaining everything as well as the solutions for those issues. He reminded professional and we never felt rushed despite the late hour.

The first time that Elmers came to my house to access what needed to be fixed, I was told that they would fixed that and offered other things to get done. We were told what was going to be done agree and proceeded. A week later the crew came by and got the work done. A few days later Dan, who was the supervisor came by and did the inspection. He did not like how things were done and told me he would send another crew to redo the work. I then asked if that one problem we talked about first was going to get fixed. He told me that it would, he left me his number and left. The crew came by and did the work. They burnt some of my grass with their chemicals. I contacted Dan and told him about my grass. He came by and did the inspection and took pictures of the grass. I was told that it was going to be replaced and the power strip was going to be fixed since it still had not been fixed. The days went by and nothing. When I would call or text him he would tell me that he was working on it. 7 months later he texts me and tells me that he is not working for the company anymore and gives me a number to call. I call and keep asking for a supervisor and all I am told that someone will contact me. I keep calling and asking and keep being told the same thing. I am very disappointed that no one is able to contact me and give me an answer. Winter is coming up soon and I have no heater that is working.

I’ve been in desperate need of working AC for over three years. After all the repairs and energy upgrades were done, I was ready to replace our grossly inefficient system.I started by getting estimates and was greeted by Michael Balderaz, a fellow Army for lifer and in general awesome dude. He gave solid information on what they offer, what I needed, and ways Elmer would help.I honestly felt bad, he was so thorough but we had to cut short our time (on my end) in the middle of our estimate. He offered to come back the next day and delivered on that promise by completing the estimate and even trying to call in favors to earn my business.I really would have liked to have them install, but a different company offered similar warranties and equipment with a steep undercut in price.I’m sure they’ll continue to do well out here as everyone needs AC in TX. If you’re looking for repair/install from people who are passionate about what they do, please give them a call!

After 10+ years were removing our good review. Were wondering if possible dishonest practices may have compromised our unit so wed have to buy a new unit once it was out of warranty. A trusted second opinion showed that on Elmers last visit, where they told us we needed to buy a new unit, they had overfilled the unit by over 100psi which damages the compressor. That is a massive mistake, if it was a mistake. Saddened and no longer trust this company.

I called for a backup and ended up with my front yard torn up and a huge hole in the back yard and paying a crazy amount of money. They claim that the hole in the back yard was filled but half the dirt they removed is still in my backyard and they went deep under my home. I have called multiple times and they say that someone will call me back but I have yet to get a call back and am completely unsatisfied with the work that was done. My next complaint will be to the BBB. $5,000.00 for a 5 year warranty.

We installed a whole new ac system with Elmer’s and it’s caused nothing but issues in under less than 1 yr old. Since the day of install to today summers have given us issues with not cooling and winter the last few days the heat stopped working and has us sleeping in sweaters or doubling up in blankets. My husband is extremely frustrated with this situation because it’s been non stop issues since replacing our hvac. I’ve had to call Elmer’s several times and calls are recorded so you can certainly look up my account and see how often I’ve had to have someone out here.

Today I had regular HVAC service and maintenance checked completed by Corey. We had technician Nick Talamantes who was an absolute pleasure. He was very professional, thorough, and patient when it came to fielding all my questions. He explained what needed to be done and together we worked up a quote I felt comfortable moving forward with. He performed the work, helped resolve our issues, and told us he would be available to us if we had any other questions or concerns. I would definitely be requesting him for future AC service needs.

They did take care of the leak problem but their prices are exorbitant. Their intent is to get your money...the menu pricing is designed to make them alot of money, about double what you should pay. You can negotiate the price down some, but they will tack the $59 service fee onto the final $ amount. The tech, Brandon, was 50 min. late for the appt... he called me after his appt. time began. Brandon told me my water heater was almost 10 years old when in fact, it is 2 years old...he read the wrong line on the sticker. He said he would email a receipt but 3 days later I still didnt have it and had to call the office for an emailed receipt. He said that the emailed receipt would have my new service contract attached to it, but it didnt...I had to call again and request it. These are the things that really damage a companys reputation.

Mario and Corey exceeded our expectations. We are blessed to have such knowledgeable gentleman in our home. They showed me things going on with our HVAC unit that no other company has shown us. We have had microbial growth for years and had no idea. We can not thank y’all enough and they are representing the company very highly. Thank y’all so much for everything. “We nickel and dime you” should be their motto because that’s what’s they do and if they have to repeatedly say “we don’t nickel and dime you” during their appointments then that’s a red flag. First of all, I booked an appointment online a couple weeks ago on a Thursday for that Saturday and they called me the day after I booked to tell me that their first available appointment was the following Monday after I already made weekend plans since it was booked online. So there is no point booking online with them. Then on Monday, the appointment was scheduled for 2-5pm window and dispatch called me at 4:30 to tell me the technician was running over 45 minutes late which put us out of the window and it was already late. So much for “always on time Elmer.” When they finally showed up a day later, the technician presented me 5 preset packages to choose from ranging from $1000 to $8800. The fact that they spent over an hour analyzing what was wrong with the AC to then just give me preset packages was strange. I chose the package for $1700 that was called “critical” repair because the technician promised me that would fix the critical things wrong and guarantee air flow. After he left, nothing changed so we gave it a day and it was still 85 degrees in the house. I called to ask for someone to return to fix what should have been fixed the first time. They sent a “senior technician” who came out and told me that a “critical” package actually doesn’t fix the critical components but just produces cool air even if there isn’t a proper flow. Why pay $1700 to not have the proper channel/flow of air? He basically told me I need to pay at least a couple thousand dollars more for one of the higher preset packages to make sure it’s cool. Then he got a supervisor on the phone on speaker and the supervisor recited a scripted line “please make sure you tell them that we don’t nickel and dime our customers.” They offered to send a THIRD person out to go over the packages with us again but based on other reviews and this experience I decided to cancel because I don’t want to be scammed by them more.

These guys were absolute god sends! Our heater kicked the dust right before the winter hit and they were out there the very next day ready to go! Joseph and Shane are Awsome with all the work needed to be completed. Believe me it was quite the list. Main issue is a busted outside water pipe. Since working on pipe I asked about updating a 10+ year water heater. Having a crew to come out same day I called. Crew came out to trench 40 ft of pipe and replace the water heater all done approximately 4 hours, price affordable. I didnt feel as though I had to sell one of my children orbody limbs.🤣 I already scheduled bathroom plumbing work to be replaced. Huge Thank you to Joseph and Shane and the trenching crew.

I have a services to come by and check my heater unit and they all said it couldnt be repaired that I needed a new unit but not Diego from Elmer services he said he could repaired and he did. We signed up with Elmers for annual HVAC maintenance right after they performed a thorough duct cleaning of our home. We were very pleased with the duct cleaning service. However, I cant say the same thing for routine HVAC service. We had our first routine HVAC maintenance service done around late spring. A follow up for a winter checkup was scheduled for today (16 Dec 2024). Received a call this morning telling me that they would not be able to make the appointment. What is the purpose of scheduling an appointment ahead of time if it cant be followed up on? I missed half a day of work to stay home for this appointment. I understand that winter is a busy time of the year for HVAC maintenance. It seems to me that our follow-up appointment was not a priority. Update: 19 Dec 2924 :Follow-up was great with Jackson. Great job

The fan on my AC was running constantly. Never shuts off. Emmanuel came out and found the relay on the control board for the fan motor was stuck and needed to be replaced. he also found some other things that were not up to code. Rather than fix it and bill me, he went the extra mile to look up the unit on the Goodman website and found it was still under warranty, including workmanship, from the old company that sold the system to me in 2018. He suggested I call them since they are still responsible.So he could have just sold me all these services and I wouldnt have known the difference. But he saved me a lot of money . And didnt charge me anything!

Nathan, our HVAC tech, and Thomas and Jason our plumbers were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We needed 2 different services at 2 different properties with short notice and they got it all done to our satisfaction!

I have had elmers at my house for a slab leak which they fixed. I was in the hospital so i did not see them.Since then I have called twice for them to come out. Neither time did I get a call back for a time to come out. When I called the second time I told them I have been waiting 6 months for the first appt and they laughed. The time I was not here and they came out they left my brother 2 receipts. Said 1 was for the insurance co. I have been very sick and am trying to resolve my claim with my insurance. Both receipts basically say the same thing. Neither are correct. I called weekly for 6 weeks and asked for the plumbing manager and never got a call back. At 2 months I got an email with the same 2 receipts. I told them they are holding up my 15k check from the insurance. 3 months later they still dont care. I would give them 0 stars if that was a choice. All I want is an itemized receipt for the cost to open the walls and find the leak with the correct amount on it for the insurance company.WHY IS SO HARD TO DO THIS!

Joseph and Shane provided excellent service. They replaced my old water heater with a brand new one, from top to bottom, in about two hours. Elmer’s came through in a pinch when my 30 year old water heater began leaking from the bottom and needed to be replaced with haste. I scheduled a plumber & they canceled & rescheduled me only to cancel again a week later only after I had to call to find out why no one showed up, Toby lied and said he called, he didnt & I will never use them again. Its been the absolute worst customer service experience Ive had.

Mario Olivares from Elmers was courteous, prompt and thorough. What started as a service call and routine check up on a suspected failing A/C system in my rental home turned into a needed and overdue A/C intervention. All impending failure issues were proactively diagnosed and a recommended solution was offered. Work was completed the next day. Rather than failing in July at the worst possible time each issue was handled on my schedule and warrantied into the future. No issues recommending both Elmers and Mario for future work.

Beware, the attached promises apparently are worthless! Had a new HVAC system installed the beginning of November and took 2 days to install because of their lack of knowledge. The installers connected the new system to the old copper which was to small in diameter for the system. The installers should know this and the person who sold us the system should know this so the had to come back the next day. I was told that the original supply plenum was to small and that it would be changed. I went into the attic to check on things and they were connecting the new air handler to the old supply plenum. I let my sales person know and asked about the $500 if the system is not installed on time and he said that he would let them know. I received a call the next day about a follow up visit to check on the installation and asked her about it and she said that she would pass it on. Never heard back so I sent a message to the person who sold me the system and no response. I contacted Elmers about it and was told it would be sent to upper management.Update: As of today no response from anyone! Update on my review. Photo shows response from the company 4 weeks ago. Still, no one has contacted me!!

He was very patient with me & my elderly parents to purchase a new HVAC. I strongly recommend Elmers I have been a happy customer for over 9yrs. I bought a new home recently and called Elmers The company to Trust!!!Previous owners were filthy people who must have never changed the filter, took the motor apart, had freon leaking etc...but Lawrence took care of us! He suggested options for a new HVAC that would provide safety to my family. He said it was a good thing the heater didnt work for us when we tried to turn it on because we all would have died by carbon monoxide & never have waken up in our new home.

Our AC went out and they couldn’t come out that night to fix it nor could they come out that morning which sucked! It was super hot baby was fussy! I honestly don’t really care for the company sometimes I wish I went elsewhere for a AC system! Buuuuuuut the Tech that came out to help our situation was AMAZING!!! He was kind and explained very thoroughly what was going on and what needed to be fixed, which no one had ever explained to us even when purchasing a brand new AC home system and changed everything out! For a new system we sure had to call someone out twice in 3 months because the AC shut off! Seems ridiculous. Thanks to Mario Olivares for telling us what needed to be done to avoid this problem from continuously happening again!

Elmers was able to come out within 45 minutes of my HELP!! call. Sr Tech Mario Olivares took him time to explain everything to me, make sure I understood the problems, as well as the solutions, and go over all the options with me. He really worked with me to find the most complete resolution within my budget, to get things done right. I had another company out last year for the same issue and this experience is so much better and more thorough. Mario really went above and beyond; I would not hesitate to refer anytime.

Ulises and Carlos were outstanding!!!! My AC broke unexpectedly over the weekend they came out and finished the install in one day!! If I could give zero stars I would. Really unimpressed by the salesman they sent out to give me a quote for an install on a new HVAC system. One of the first things he asked me was if my husband would be joining me for the appointment, to which I said no, and thought little of it. But then, as we continued with the appointment, he asked at least two more times if I could call my husband, and when did my husband not work? He didnt seem to think I was capable of relaying the info to my husband, and I was getting pretty creeped out. He also used a lot of scare tactics (your unit is leaking oil, and its going to go out really soon and your house will be full of smoke--it hasnt, btw,-- Im really sure you have mold, which will make you very sick, etc). He took the entire unit apart, took dozens of photos and videos, sent them all to me...and never sent a quote. Its been over a week. If you like creepy, patronizing salesmen who dont ever follow through, then this is your company. Otherwise, try one of the thousand other heating and air companies here in San Antonio--I did.

I contacted Elmers - the team of individuals that i have had the oppurtunity to work with have been incredible. Just a few callouts - Michael Balderamas, the installer team, the QC technician, Jackson, John Sustaita, Lorenzo and the Ladies in the office. This team has gone above and beyond in taking care of my family.This review falls short of the respect and thanks that i have for this group people.i would and will recomend them for any HVAC help needed.

Update 11/15/24 - we’ve had our system and the care package for almost 2 years and could not be more satisfied. Nathan came out today for our regular maintenance and walked us through what we need, helped with recommendations to keep our system running longer, and got us set up with a much needed deep clean for our system. Everyone with interacted with has been fantastic, they’re always on time & super helpful, and the team continues to exceed expectations.Original: We are working with Elmer’s for our water softener purchase and installation. After doing our research, they’re the only company we could find that offers a 10-year no questions asked warranty (at an up charge, but it’s worth it). Their technicians are incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and genuine when discussing the products with you. The first tech that came out was able to gather a lot of information, but admitted that he didn’t yet know the full spectrum of what they could offer and set up a meeting with someone who did. I appreciate honesty like this because I know that it means the company values quality over an easy sale. When Daniel Meyer returned with a second tech the next day they were able to answer all of our questions, provide us with multiple offers that fit our needs, and help us understand the pros and cons of each to make the best decision for our home. There was not a single point where we felt pressured to buy an upgrade or spend more on bells & whistles, and throughout the process he built confidence with us, making it easy to choose their service. While they weren’t the cheapest option, they were better priced than most of the competitors, and we were impressed that they use a local company for the water softener so they not only understand the complexities of Texas hard water, but by choosing them we are able to support local business. After experiencing this level of service we will be working with Elmers for all of our AC and Plumbing preventative maintenance, and any other needs because they’re company we can trust.

Elemers was an awesome compang to work with. Everyone was professional and friendly through the whole process. During the instalation Hector and Leo went above and beyond to make sure we were out of the heat and able to to enjoy our new A/C system.

Elmerization job went terribly wrong and no response from claim resentatives after multiple attempts only customer service promising to forward message.Service tech came out was asked by the wife if my new cargo trailer needed covering to prevent any damages and his response was “no needs to all will be ok”.Well chemical used to clean coil either over sprayed or when unit was turned back on it splattered onto trailer causing paint to bubble and diamond plate to spot as well.Customer beware !! Elmers Home ServiceDoesn’t care about their customers!!!Well in discussions about how we are going forward. Their work seems good just the handling of damages incurred terrible.

Jackson Cunningham was very professional and helpful in giving us advice for our ac unit. He was very nice and ensured our unit will run properly for the winter!

Joseph, Shane, and Arnaldo did an exemplary job of repairing our plumbing issues. We had them replace a shower faucet and on/off control, which they did. However, we also had an issue with sewer drainage. They were able to identify the problem and clear out the drain quickly and efficiently. They also found a leak with our water heater that is substantial and potentially a big problem. They called out a professional who advised us to submit a claim on our homeowner policy. Joseph, Shane, and Arnaldo replaced the water heater connections so that the leak is fixed. All of this was done for a very reasonable cost. We highly recommend Elmer’s and especially this hard working, highly competent crew.

Cory was excellent. He really saved us from the heat!! Everyone weve dealt with so far, in our 3-4 years of being customers, has been helpful, professional, efficient, and kind.

Weve used a few other companies in the past and felt that either they didnt do a very good job or they outright took advantage of us. So when we had an emergency air conditioning issue come up a while back, we gave this place a shot, because they were willing to come out quickly without charging us an outrageous after hours fee. They did a great job, and we have used them since.We had an issue yesterday where our AC quit putting out cold air until we turned it off and turned it back on. So we called Elmers to come out and look at it and see if they can find the cause and prevent it from happening again. The rep that came out, JONATHON HERBERT, did awesome job. As I have quickly come to expect from this company, he did a great job with keeping me informed before he got here and during his time here. Also, when I am at work, I cannot answer my phone, and I let him know this. He instead texted me when he had questions, as I had asked him to do. I appreciate it that he was respectful of my work restrictions and did not try to call me and potentially interrupt and important phone call or meeting. I also appreciated that he took a massive amount of pictures and video show me exactly what he was saying that he was concerned about, rather than just expecting me to take his word for it. And then he gave me the options as far as getting it taken care of. Once I picked my option, he got it done pretty quickly.Also, not related to the work at all, but I appreciate that he took a minute to pet and pay attention to my little Corgi dog. Whether its air conditioning repair, or a store clerk at Walmart, I think it says something when they are willing to take a second and pay attention to a family member they have no obligation to pay attention to (child, pet, etc). It was just a nice little touch, in my opinion. Very happy with the service provided!

We have had the same issue with our three year old system and they cant find anything wrong with it but it continues to shut off and we are left with no ac for several hours. They have been out four times in the last month and each time Im hopeful that they fixed the issue but again today I came home and its 83 degrees in my house and getting hotter and they have nothing until Monday even though they say 24 hrs emergency service.I bought this new system so that I wouldnt not have any issues and it keeps happening. I just want my $18k AC to work properly.***Update***Saturday 10/12/24A senior technician and two other came out to work on the on going issues they didnt say much about what was going on but that the unit was freezing up and they had to discuss the options to fix the system at the office and the office would contact us later. But that they got the system going and it shouldnt freeze up . Saturday evening the unit shut off and didnt come back on. We contacted them at 10am today and they showed up at 5pm and said they need to replace one part insideand one outside but the part supplier closed at 5. The tech mentioned what ever they did on Saturday caused the outside unit to not turn back on . I dont understand how the problem keeps getting worse every time someone works on it. Its is now 89 in my house and now we wait and hope they show up first thing in the morning and finally fix the issue and the issues they caused. Also the manger that we spoke is not taking calls so thats Im updating this review

ELMERS HOME SERVICE, by far is TOP Notch, and I will continue using them for my A/C and Plumbing services for my residence.

This place is garbage, do yourself a favor and contact goettl or John Wayne services. Everything they say they don’t do in the commercials….they do. If you spend a lot of money with Elmer’s to get a new AC unit and it goes down, do not expectThem to come right away, they’ll try to push you off till the next day. Show up with not enough parts to fix things or wrong parts. You got a better shot with a block of ice and a fan for cool air.

Diego, in the San Antonio office, provided EXCELLENT customer service and reliable repairs of my mother-in-laws airconditioner. She needed special assistance with understanding the repair and Diego patiently explained everything in a manner she could understand. Elmers does not keep their word. I wrote a review about price gauging my daughter by charging 35,000. for a minimal unit. No duct work was done. They said they would keep in touch to try to resolve the issue. Nothing was done. I emailed the person Christian and left my number and asked them to leave a message, so I could call them back. I have not heard one word from them. Just shows they dont want to even try to get some resolution to this problem. I recommend to not use this company for they over charge and dont keep their word.

Rodney was very professional and listened carefully to the plumbing issues we were experiencing. He then went o er best solutions for each issue and commenced the correction immediately.
