My father used this company once before. I never thought to check their work, my first huge mistake. They came to the house the second time making big claims about making the air quality better and getting everything out of the duct that might be harmful. I noticed that when the heater was on, I would feel nauseous. They told me it would take all day to complete the cleaning. I took my dog for a hike and left my dad there with them. I returned about an hour and a half later. They told me they had finished, I was shocked, I was confused. How were they done so quickly? The second thing was he had mentioned he took pictures only to say he didnt have them anymore. I thought that was extremely odd. He was behaving differently than when I had left before the cleaning. Something was off. He left, and I decided to look in the vents. I found that hardly any cleaning had been done to many of the air ducts. The one in my room was still filthy. We paid $1600 for Im not even sure exactly.

Did not have a good time with them. Main dude was nice in the beginning, when I signed for $3,500. But overall, ac system didn’t get back to working. Paid for the damn uv light, the duct cleaning and the rotator cleaning. Ducts are still bad. Overall, I had to get a whole ass new ac. whatever they did, I don’t see a positive impact on my house, bills, etc.If you call and they say a business manager is going to reach out, don’t listen. Same person answered every time I call. From months ago to most recently. If they say they’ll call you, they won’t.Take your hard earned money, and spend it somewhere else.

Reached out to comfortable Air because we were having issues with indoor air quality and noticed a lot of dust buildup in our home. Their team came out, assessed our HVAC system, and performed a thorough cleaning and maintenance. They even installed an air purifier system. The difference has been remarkable! The air feels fresher, and weve noticed less dust. Their customer service was outstanding, and they were very respectful of our home. Highly recommend their IAQ service for anyone with allergies or respiratory concerns!

They came to do a tune-up and vent cleaning and ended up finding all kinds of mold. They cleaned everything really well and installed a uv light to keep it from happening again. Here is a before and after of one of the parts they cleaned. While we spe t way more than we planned to today, its nice knowing we are now breathing clean air and wont be getting sick from it (Im pretty sure its already started affecting my husband and daughter, so hoping this helps!)Nes & David were prompt, thorough, and courteous.

Comfortable Air has cleaned all my Air ducts and full HVAC unit for the past 2 years and installed a uv light to prevent mold, mildew and bacteria.My homes Air is so much more fresh, I dont see dust particles in the air anymore and my breathing quality has improved. I suffer from seasonal allergies and this has helped me significantly.Very reasonably priced for everything they cover.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Service requested was dryer vent clean out ONLY. This company tried to clean out ALL A/C vents in the house. And attempted to request $1400 for install of UV lights. This is the way he left my A/C upstairs. Covers OFF, filter removed, and cover off. AC UNIT completely powered off. This is ridiculous and unprofessional. We made a HUGE MISTAKE selecting him for service. Feel free to roll the dice here. I had working AC before he arrived. When he left. There was none.

Worst experience ever! Paid to have ac ducts cleaned, fireplace cleaned, and dryer vent cleaned. All they used was a standard shop vac and look what was left when they were done. Pictures speak for themselves. Avoid this company at all costs.

Have been seeing lot of ads about airduct cleaning. After I have witnessed what was done, I realized its a waste of time and money. Michael was the tech and he had Ivan the helper with him. I have asked the to come in for Airduct cleaning and the said it is $280 but on special for $75 and the dryer vent was $69. I did t realize it was a bait and switch. After going through my house attached to one outflow duct, the technician made a hole and said there is mold in there. The whole thing had black lining in there and cant say what was mold and not. He showed some pictures on his phone and asked if I have seen any mold outside the airduct? And I said No. They said it was $700 something and got it to $256 and what some done, they said it was a remediation process and brought couple of spray bottle and sprayed it in the hole made and where there is filter inside the unit.The Air Duct Cleaning, They connected a negative prepare system to one of the air duct only and the helper took a cloth to clean external dust and with some kind of hand held suction machine. To my Knowledge they were suppose to connect the negative pressure to all the air ducts than one only in the house for which they charged $75. On the invoice it says all ducts under negative pressureDryer vent is $69 they went on the roof and they said they connected a unit to clean with.Overall, Micheal was nice and courteous the whole time. I would rate him 3.5 on the service. He was informative and got to learn few things from him. But I think when they walk into the house they have to wear shoe covers. We dont use the shoes that we use outside, inside of the house. Cant take that for granted.When the air ducts were suctioned or so their was some particles falling off which were not cleaned.Overall I did not feel like the $400 I paid was worth the service provided. For spraying chemical it is $256 and not even sure if the mold existed out there. They quoted $55/ air intake duct. After this experience I dont think I would ever be using a AC servicing company for cleaning.

After buying and moving into a house last summer, we hired this company, which we never will again, to fix one of the AC units that did not blow cold. (2 unit house)After Comfortable Air sent techs to our house 7 different occasions last year and 3 times this year, (it’s mid April), and spending THOUSANDS of dollars with this company to get this one AC fixed, that one AC still does not blow cold.The most recent tech said it did, in fact, needed Freon, which was expected, and that Comfortable Air would be contacting me to schedule that. After they did not contact me, I called to schedule this service. This was when the nice lady in the phone told me that their ONLY tech who does Freon for that company, was out of town until the end of next month and that we need to call and pay someone else to do this. (This sounds shady to me, but maybe that’s just how they choose to run their business)Please let this serve as a warning to other customers looking to employ their services.

This co has been treating out home foe over 2.5 yrs we had a Lazer and duct cleaning and are very happy with our results ....they are always prompt and on time they are very professional and always pleasant workers that help keep our home feeling comfortable and peace of mind 😊 I rec them for any of your ac svs ....100TX you customer blanco

Would have given zero starts if possible, horrible job done of cleaning. First thing they said was you have mold it will mess up my equipment so I need to spray first, then proceeded to do a very poor job of vacuuming, before spraying MENTHOL into my air conditioner and charging nearly $700. So it was clear that they were not even concerned about my mold messing up their equipment. Furthermore when I confronted the technicians Nick And Elan, they brushed me off then packed up the van and drove off with my money. The company assured me that I would have a different technician come actually finish the job the next day, but here comes Elan again claiming he did a good job the first time. Ill let you decide if the attached pictures are clean enough to be charged $700, personally I would recommend you stay as far as possible from this company. They also provide a license number for a different company at the bottom of their page.

I don’t normally write reviews and I don’t like when companies ask for people to write reviews but I did have a good experience. They confirmed my appointment the day before, called when they were on their way, asked if it was okay to park in my driveway for easy access to their equipment. They were very cautious when moving ladders and stuff around to get to vents. We were having trouble with our AC so I asked if the tune up could possible fix it. The guy had me demonstrate what was our issue and looked at everything, showed me pictures of the issues he found. He did find mold (which seems to be a common theme in the reviews?- so could be a scam like taking your car for an oil change and how much they over charge you for an air filter). I don’t know pricing of stuff like this but seemed reasonable for all what was being done. They were nice and professional during all interactions. They even notified me saying they forgot to leave the invoice and would email it to me immediately

Terrible service! Originally saw them on 4/19/23, and they treated for mold, and cleaned my unit as well as cleared my dryer vents. Dryer vents needed to be redone on a separate visit because it wasn’t done correctly. When he treated for mold, and charged me a total of $1,640 he ASSURED me this would get rid of the mold and I would never have to worry about it again. I told him I was going to call him in 6 months to come back and check to make sure it was all gone, and he told me at that time if there was more mold it would be treated for free. When I’m referring to “he”…. this was the owner of the company.On 10/14/23 I called them back out to check and make sure everything was good. They gave me a 4hr window between 8-12, and were 45 minutes late past that window. There was no call, nothing to indicate they were even still showing up. I had to actually call and find out where they were at. When he finally showed up, my son went into the attic with him, and was told we have more mold and said he would clean it for another $1,200! Fool me once, shame on you, but fool me 2x, shame on me! I came at him, and reminded him of our last conversation, and the $1,200 quickly came down to $600 for a new UV light because he said my light was not a good one although he told me originally on the first trip that the light was fine.I’ve been reading other reviews, and hopefully they don’t respond to this one in the same manner. They say they are under “new management.”. That’s not true at this point, because in April the man that came to my house and stated he was the owner was also the same man that tried to come back this time and scam me out of more money.Point is this: DO YOUR RESEARCH before you hire companies like this! I did not, and that’s on me, but better believe I won’t be taken like that again. Very dishonest man, don’t deal with him or his company.

This place absolutely SCAMMED me and many others as I have seen in their reviews. I hired them with a cheap coupon for air duct cleaning for $90. The entire experience was gross feeling and they totally tried to take advantage of me. The guy was asking me to tip him so that he could do a better job. They recommended that I get a really expensive UV light put in my system which I learned from another company later on was not needed. The actual cleaning is just them putting a vacuum on one duct and not actually brushing anything out. There was still tons of dust in the ducts when I had another company come and do it. Worst experience with a business I have had in a long time.

My house was inspected prior to move in, showing pictures of lint buildup on roof vent and redline item it. I call Comfortable Air after seeing clip in coupon pack. A tag team came, sharp dresser and a sloppy dresser. The sloppy dresser went on the roof, meantime the sharp dresser started quick talking me into considering other services. I stated I was only concerned with getting my vent cleaned. He continued to insist and motioned me inside away from watching the clean out. After their shenanigans and stating the vent was already clean, I called my inspector asking why did I pay for an unnecessary service, he explain the lent buildup was at the roof opening. So I became uneasy now knowing my concerns remain. I submitted a review explaining all that occurred and was offered a do-over. I was told I would receive a call before they arrive, that did not happen. I loud knock at the door, the 1st guy insisted on coming in my house to see the dryer, merely to turn it on. This 1st guy was arrogant and argumentative. Guy 2 was neatly dressed, shirt tucked in, and on the roof with his tools. The 1st continued to question why I was concerned, I reiterated my concerns was at the roof opening, he went on the roof and proceeded to remove tons of lent buildup, he continued pulling it out, which was the images the inspector initially provided. I asked them to remove the grate covering, guy 1 insisted he would not recommend, I again for the 3rd time asked him to remove the grate. Then he stated he will not argue with me and removed it, I asked for the lent and the grate, he asked why, I stated Im taking pictures. The both briskly whisked away. Good riddance to bad rubbish! Unprofessional workers, felt the need to come into your home when customer can turn on the dryer. The 1st group, the guy asked to use my restroom, only to get a piece of paper towel. I felt like they were casing my place, fortunately I just moved in and the place was bare.The sloppy guy began looking around the side of my house, I asked what he was looking for, he said his family member does lawn, and he was checking my area. This is an uneasy bunch of men. The women at the office seem professional, but the dispatch crew made me uneasy.

SO CALLED technician couldnt figure out where dryer vented to after being told many times HE IS looking at the washer didnt speak any English . He cut/ damaged one of my vents and mangled another After mentioning what he had done, he put tape around it to fix it. He never apologized ether , then comes the owner with heavy accent he is from Israel but lies about it i looked them up they had a different company that closed i wonder why he try selling his disinfectant and mold protection i said no he was very pushy and unprofessional after being told that not interested he just walks out and sits in the van while the 2 guys were trying to clean the ducts 30 min later they tell me its done mind you my house is 6800 sf in 3 ac units 14 ducts none were cleaned pure scam i went to check and confronted them here comes the owner again he told the guy that didnt speak English to clean it ones started i noticed their cheap equipment i told him the cable is broken it might damage the duct he said i been doing this for over 20 years well first duct they damaged it i showed him he try to deny it ones took a picture he try to leave i asked for insurance so i can file a claim didnt provided i will be suing them contacted my lawyers DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH COMFORTABLE AIR THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM

Provided excellent service. Both technicians were very knowledgeable, friendly and professionals. Explained in detail the cleaning process on the AC / Dryer vents and recommended other services. It was very easy to schedule the appointment with the customer service representative, she was awesome. Definitely will use them again.

On August 30, 2021 Gabriel and his assistant came out for a routine duct cleaning after we moved into a new-to-us house. I knew the ducts were dirty since it was visible from every signle register. However, the pictures Gabriel took from inside the unit (I watched him take them) showed not only dirt and dust but also mold. The job ended up being much bigger, and yes more expensive, than initially planned. They were kind, professional, and most importantly thorough. For the amount of work they did, the cost was reasonable. I waited a few days to write a review to see if my 3 kids and husbands allergies were any better after the cleaning. Everyone had noticeable improvement the very next morning after the cleaning! I definitely recommend Comfortable Air Co. I only trust the health of my family to a licensed, professional, insured company.

These guys did a great job! It was fast too! We havent had this service before and had been wanting to try it. My allergies have been really bad especially inside my house.I feel so much better now that all the vents and ducts are clean!I also had a coupon which was a plus 😁As a Realtor I am always looking for great services/vendors for my clients. I had my chimney swept with Comfortable Air. They were fast, prompt, and efficient.I appreciated that the guys told me about their specials but did not try and hard sell me.The technician said my flue was, “very dirty.” He and the other guy were able to get a lot of muck out of it.Tonight I had the best fire I’ve had in years. Clearly-my flue was dangerously clogged. I’m so happy I called Comfortable Air.

Last month I had a coupon for vent cleaning to be done. We had been having issues with our dryer not drying our clothes within the set time frame. So I contacted Comfortable Air to come out and clean the vents. A gentleman with a heavy accent and a younger gentleman came to do the job. While the younger guy was supposedly working on the dryer vent, the older gentleman with the accent went up to the attic to check things out. He told us that we had mold. My husband came home from work and went into the attic with him and yes, there was mold but not as much as the gentleman alluded to. He was pushy in trying to get us to have a treatment done. We refused the treatment. However, regarding the dryer vents, they showed me the lint that they had reportedly blown out of the vent. There was not very much there. After they left, I continued to have problems with the dryer not drying the clothes in a proper time frame. Since we had this done, we figured it was our dryer so we went out and bought a new dryer. Had it installed yesterday and sure enough, the clothes arent drying. My husband decided to go on the roof himself to check out the vent area. It was totally clogged with thick clumps of lint being pulled out. He then went up through the vent from the inside of the house and again pulled out massive amounts of lint. If Comfortable Air had done the job correctly the first time, this would not have happened. **Please note that I did call them a few days after they had come out to tell them the dryer was still not drying things properly. They said they would try to come out but then Covid-19 happened and I called and told them not to come as I did not want them in my house. My biggest issue is that I feel they scammed me and did not complete the job fully. If they had, the issue would most likely have been resolved when they were here the first time.

Very professional did a great job. Clean air ducts and fireplace. Came back the next morning and fixed my thermostat. I will recommend them. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

I hired this company for a simple duct clean . Of course they found mold. I was told installing a very very very pricey light would rid the unit of mold. They came back out 3 months later with a different technician per my request to see that the mold was erradicated. The tech then told me there was another side to my unit and that another light would need to be installed. I feel I should not have had to pay for the second light because the first technician did not inform me of the other side and the job was not done right the first time. They offered me a discount on the second light. Funny how a second light can cost 1/4 of the first light cost. I contacted the company and stated the job was not done correctly the first time and we continued to have mold grow on the other side. The company refused to compensate any further than the discounted price.

UPDATE: Gabriel was sent to the house and did an awesome follow up job. Its just too bad that it had to be done right and without stress the second time around.Stay away from this place! Used a coupon for a dryer vent cleaning for $69. Called the lady, who I could barely understand, to make an appointment and she was able to get me a $59 price for the dryer vent cleaning.Ruben Diaz and Jose Tunon showed up and informed me that Jose was going to go the vent on the roof and clean it out. (Showed me on his cell phone) I initially agreed. My wife then asked if they were going to go inside to the laundry room and clean the other end also. Ruben replied that they dont do that. My wife stated that they had to check both sides. Ruben agreed but complained to me that he and his partner shouldnt be doing all this for $59. Ruben then stated, Im wasting time and money on all this. If it aint one thing then its another. Ruben entered the house and angrily moved the dryer aside and nonchalantly cleaned the dryer vent to the dryer with a dry/wet vac. Ruben then told me that the vent was very dirty and wanted to charge me an extra $40 in which I declined. Ruben told me that all they do is the basic and anything else is extra. I doubt that the job was even done correctly as my dryer still does not dry. Worst service ever! Its very difficult to trust anybody in San Antonio to do a decent job without worrying about them trying to scam you. These guys just nailed the point home.

We were recommended to this company by someone in our Neighborhood. $89 special based on the equipment we have. We called and scheduled. We had to be rescheduled twice. One was due to a truck breaking down which is understandable. It is hard to keep a 4 hour window open let alone for one day. The crew came out, showed some mold build-up in the unit. Quoted $1100 to take care of it. Pushed it two more times while on site. Was surprised they hooked up their giant vacuum to a vent- with the cover still attached and ran it for what seemed like 30 seconds. Checked my front door camera- They were there for less than an hour! Other companies give an estimate of 2-4 hours and could vary. Ive contacted the company (spoke with Ana) and await to hear if there is any changes going to take place. Not satisfied with this experience so as of right now: Buyer beware.

Nes, Ruben, Noam did an outstanding job servicing my system. They arrived on schedule, opened my unit, showed me where potential molds and mildew were building up in places I couldnt see.Next their equipment throughly cleaned and sanitized my unit. Used a deodorizer and now my home not only smells better, I know the air is cleaner! Im a retired Navy veteran whose capable of doing a lot to my home. I cannot recommend Comfortable Air enough because the air quality in your home makes all the difference to your wellness.

The technician couldnt figure out where dryer vented to after being told many times it was to my roof. He cut one of my vents and mangled another in my attic. After mentioning what he had done, he put tape around it to fix it. He never got on my roof because he claimed his ladder wasnt tall enough. He said he would come back. I called to reschedule and was told he was going to charge me AGAIN. After explaining everything to the manager, she said she would send another person out. They sent the same guy. Before coming in, he began arguing again that my dryer didnt vent to my roof. He also told me he was going to have to charge me again. I told him I had already talked to his manager. I called her again and she called him to tell him he had to do it for free. I asked him to leave because by this time, I didnt trust him or this company. I will have to find a company that is ethical and provides better customer service. Do not use Comfortable Air!!

We used Comfortable Air to clean out ducts and vents. They took a look at the AC unit and suggested we do an disinfectant for mold in some of our vents. They said they would continue to clean the vents but never finished the job. We paid $700 and they didn’t clean all the vents and basically just sprayed a disinfectant. They also broke one of my outlet covers and didn’t tell me. When I asked how they tested for mold I was told “oh, we just know” the tech proceeded to wet a paper towel and wipe my vent. Very disappointed.

The man with a heavy accent arrived with two other gentlemen, they did a vent cleaning and begin to tell me all the problems that my ACs were having with mold and such, yet I had my AC guy, of 20 yrs, up there a couple days before and he had not seen or mentioned any mold which I assume he would’ve done if it was as bad as this man was alluding to. He was pressuring me into getting the additional services to have it cleaned, would not take no for an answer. After refusing those additional services he hiked up the cost of the original service itself which I explained I had a coupon for and already clarified what it covered with the lady I scheduled the appointment with. Ultimately he left with me paying more because he was bound and determined to get paid more than what the coupon was going to pay him and I just wanted them out of my house. He did nothing more than what was described in the coupon, yet he charged me more and proceeded to argue with me. I feel this company is not transparent at all, they adjust the bill according to what they want to make off of the job. He also did a dryer vent clean which he charged me for which was also notated in the coupon as being covered, he said that’s for basic cleaning, I said all you did was run a circular brush up the vent from outside, how is that not a basic cleaning? To make matters worse he got nothing out of the dryer vent when he cleaned it yet still charged me. This company is a scam, they lack integrity and transparency. I highly recommend no one use them or you chance being scammed too.

Would give zero stars if that was an option. Extremely unprofessional! The tech was very arrogant and condescending. He was also extremely rude to the helpers, yelling at them. He kept trying to find anything wrong he could (even if there was nothing wrong to begin with) trying to increase my bill amount. He was extremely pushy about it. My mother had stopped by and he even tried pushing her to pay for those things that didn’t need fixing. Had to be firm with him. When he finally realized I was only going to pay for the services I asked for, he disappeared and sat in his truck never to be seen again. They never cleaned my 2nd story vents which I had already paid the $89. for. They also damaged our fireplace vent and pulled out the cover of our fireplace clean out from the stone of our house and tried to cover it up by placing something in front of it. When they left I never a heard a word from them. Never said “We’re all done” not even “Bye”. Just packed up and left leaving my front door wide open. I would NEVER use them again & NEVER would recommend them to anyone!! Total waste of my time and total waste of over $200.

ComfortableAir did a great job cleaning my vents and installing the UV system. Air quality in my home has improved greatly and we haven’t gotten sick since!

I just had my chimney and dryer vent cleaned out. It’s hard to say how effective the chimney cleaning was, none the less it was cleaned. However the dryer vent cleaning was done and the technicians left a mess out side my home. I was not there but my wife was. They seemed Cavalier about the fact that the excess lent was on the ground. When my wife questioned them about the lent, they said that the wind would blow it away. Had I been there this would have been a non issue as I would have insisted they clean up after a service they provide. This being said it really puts into question the chimney service now that I think about it. For me it’s not so much the questionable service but the way they conducted themselves with my wife. It would seem that this company needs to address professional ethics when dealing with their clients. I will not use this company again. With every honest review left it may change they way this company operates.

I would like to say a few words concerning my experience with two hardworking individuals. On August 9, 2021, I was having a problem with a UV light in my attic. I called Gabriel Ruiz from Comfortable Air to report the problem. It was early on a Monday morning and I explained to Gabriel the problem. To my amazed, Gabriel responded within 30 minutes. He did a fantastic and outstanding job. Gabriel and his assistance Ruben did a professional and clean job. They fixed the problem and guaranteed the job will last a long time. Gabriel and Ruben were very courteous, professional, great customer service, knowledgeable and dependable. Special thanks to Gabriel for being there for us. I will highly recommend him to friends and family.

Comfortable Air just left my house. I used a coupon I had found to get a spring air duct cleaning, which included other services including dryer vent cleaning. Upon arriving, we were told we have more returns and the cost went from $89.00 to $290.00 based on the cost per return. Im okay with that as we were unsure of how many returns there were. As they were cleaning, they found mold, showed a picture and asked if we wanted to fix it. The cost would be $500. They didnt tell us where the mold was located or ask if we wanted to go see it, just showed the picture. We declined the mold service. The coupon and payment were given to the technician as he left and after getting packed up and about to leave, he turned around and asked, Do you all want your dryer vents cleaned? Um...yeah, its part of the coupon. Why would they even ask? They left without doing it as the question posed insinuated another cost when it was part of the services listed on the coupon. I called the company to report that we needed someone to come do our dryer vent along with needing the location of where the mold was located. The technician did call back, stated that they did provide all the services properly and that they have to ask if they can do the dryer vents even if it is part of the services listed on the coupon as there is law that they cannot go into a room in the house without permission. I can respect that, but how about saying, As part of the service on this coupon, we can clean your dryer vent. May I see your laundry room? They are going to send out a technician to do the dryer vent, and sent pictures of the mold to our email. Waiting to hear back from the company so they can schedule our dryer vent cleaning.

We got a coupon in the mail for a chimney sweep. Upon arrival, there were two people that showed up for one chimney. What we later realized is the second person is only there to blatantly lie and try to scam you.Guy #2 insists that we get a free air duct inspection. We dont need one since we already have a service for that, but he insists. After he goes into the attic to check it out, he comes down with all these pictures of mold growth and rust on the drip panel. We were a little skeptical since in between swiping through these pictures, there were other random pictures. They wanted to charge us $1000 to clean our air ducts and install some sort of UV light. He then notices we are a young couple and tries to appeal to us getting this issue fixed before before we have a family.So, I look up reviews while we are thinking about it and tell him we arent interested. He was persistent that we have to fix it and it is a dangerous situation....we hold our ground and they leave. As they are walking out the door my wife says Wait, we only called you here for the chimney sweep and you have not said one word about our chimney. The guy responds and says Oh yea, it was dirtyFirst thing we do is check the chimney. They scratched it up everywhere while cleaning it. We dont trust they even did a good job so we are going to call another service.Next, we go into the attic - NOTHING LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURES. I mean, what would this guy have done if i asked to go up there with him to take a look? Just because we are still stressed out about it, we get an air quality kit from home depot. And we did not get a single spore of mold growth on it when testing the air ducts directly.I mean.....this business is a complete sham. Thank goodness we had the awareness to not fall for it. It was such a pleasure to have Comfortable Air clean my air ducts, heating system, sanitize, and install UV light. We can really smell the difference in the entire house. The crew is friendly, efficient and professional. I will call them yearly for preventative maintenance. They are awesome!

Absolutely horrible company. Here we are being told we need a mold removal and after having to pay $839 we still have visible mold where it should not be. We tried to speak to the technician on site about Welty it was still there and he would not answer. The “after pictures” we received were zoomed in and of a corner in one spot, and only one photo, to show the mold was “gone”. After calling to complain I was given the runaround, I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for over 15 minutes with no one ever coming to the phone. Absolute con artist of a company, stay away if you value your money at all.

First, I read some of the reviews, and though I wasnt there, Im not sure what happened that might have caused negative reviews. Today was the second time weve used Comfortable Air, and if they had not been superb the first time, they wouldnt have gotten a second time. A year ago they came and cleaned our air ducts, dryer vent (2-story house, external vent on the roof). They did find mold in the ducts, but they didnt just say we had mold... they took photos and showed us. They also took both photos and video of the lint coming out of the dryer vent for us. I dont remember the name of the helper from a year ago, but the primary person was Ilan. What a SUPER NICE guy, very professional, very informative, while also getting the job done quickly and efficiently. Today we were lucky enough to have Ilan again, and he had Leo with him. Today was cleaning the ducts, the dryer vent system, and installing a UV Light system for our ducts to take care of mold and other health causing issues once and for all. The manager worked with us through Ilan and we got a great deal for all of the work done today, and again, they worked very efficiently to get the job done quickly. Once done, Ilan walked me through everything they did, showed me where the UV was installed and what to do if the light on the system was ever off, etc. The two times this company has been to our home they have been nothing but forthcoming, honest, and have done a GREAT job. Theyll be our AC company from now on.

Shawn was extremely professional and very helpful when he found mold issues in the attic. He cleaned it all and then installed UV lights to prevent the mold from returning.Aaron was excellent, as well. He even volunteered to replace our air return filters while he was on the ladder. He also cleaned the dryer vent that goes to the roof.

Please dont waste your time or money with this company. Its a complete scam. Wish I wouldve seen the reviews before. They came out to clean my vents & ducts. The technician of course showed me pictures of mold inmthe ac unit and was more than persistent and very annoying. He was trying to rip me off, he wanted to charge extra for everything that was included in the coupon. By the way they left without finishing up what was includes in the coupon, but I dont care because I dont ever want that technician in my home. It was just a horrible experience.

When I called to schedule an appointment I got a response right away and they had flexible scheduling that worked with my schedule. When the tech arrived he was very professional and knowledgeable; he recommended what other products that would prevent further organisms from entering my duct system. 8/2/19 -Comfortable Air LLC, is a Fraud. They operate under various business names. (Allergy-Free Air; Mold Free Air; Allergy-Free Air, LLC, etc) There technicians are scam artist. I hired them to clean my air ducts. I had over 30+ ducts that needed cleaning. The technician came in and the first thing out of his mouth was that I had mold. and It would need to be treated in order for the duct cleaning to be warrantied at an additional cost. 2 technician came to my house. One technician distracted while the other technician went to my various rooms acting like he was cleaning my ducts. The technician did not realize that I had video cameras in some of the rooms and caught the tech setting up a ladder by an air duct turned the machine but DID NOT cleaning anything. I took several photos of dirty ducts. Repeatedly try to get the company to make good on their guarantee and to date no response. This company uses various coupon incentives to lure customer into their web of deceitfulness . They have been reported to the Texas License Board.

Called them for the $79 air duct w/unlimited vents deal. We have two units so I expected it to be double.They charged over $1500 for “mold” treatment and then $35 to remove move each vent and vacuum it out. They charged to clean the plenums at $280 each. Then they charged labor on top of that!They were here 2.5 hours and my bill was almost $3k. That’s more than $1k an hour. Absolute RIP OFF!!!The entire time they were here, they tried selling us UV filters. 2 for $785 each. We declined. Then they lowered the price to $500 each. We still declined.They got their money out of us either way.

Nes was THE MAN!I bought a Duplex and called on an add I found in the paper to see if this might help remove some of the smoke smell left in my rental unit from the last owner.They arrived right on time, and got to work immediately- a few minutes in Nes called over to me and asked if I ever heard of Snow in TexasMy heart sank - already thought to myself “this can’t be good”The rental units compressor was completely cased in Ice. I knew full well that wasn’t something I could afford to replace having just closed on the place, and I told him flat out that I didn’t even know if I could afford to have it fixed.Nes was able to show me with pictures and video EXACTLY what was wrong, and showed me a way he could keep things running for the time being, and gave me a flexible way for me to pay for his services (which was extremely generous)These guys treated me like family, and I can’t thank them enough! 11/10 would recommend to anyone looking for this service.

The technician Ruben, and his helper Jose were very professional and accommodating. Ruben explained everything to me, showed me pictures, and gave me recommendations after completing the work. Both Ruben and Jose wore shoe coverers on the carpet in the house which I really appreciated. Lastly, when contacting comfortable air to begin with the lady I spoke to was helpful, responsive, and communicated info well.

Gave them a chance to rectify a very bad situation after $4,000 mold remediation diagnosis. I now believe the entire mold story is a con/set up. They make it look like your unit is bad. Even produce some pictures on techs phone. Looked real to me at the time. Then they give you a song and dance about UV light they will install. They ended up costing me not just the wasted $4K, but then an additional $1200 for my own AC company to come back out to repair the damage these jokers did. Avoid Comfortable Air at all costs. I am now pursuing it legally as these people are crooks.

They did a great job. Our HVAC system was down right disgusting and they took everything apart, cleaned disinfected and even touched up any vents with paint. We just came back from vacation a week later and I can tell the difference the second we walked in the door.

Had a coupon and scheduled an appointment for dryer vent and duct cleaning. Same old scam they could not clean ducts with out doing mold eradication. Also not going on roof to remove cap for dryer vent. I I cleaned the return air myself no mold. This is really a bait and switch and the tech was really rude when I refused. Would not recommend this company and don’t fall for the new management response.

We called Comfortable Air to come clean our ducts. We were told we had tears and mold in the ducts. They used a UV light to sanitize the ducts. We decided to have all new ducts placed in the house because there isnt enough air flow throughout the house. We had a scheduled appointment. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP TO DO THE JOB!!! We have been calling the office with no return calls. The address listed on Perrin Beital is not even a current address for them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! WHAT A RIP OFF.

What started as an air duct cleaning turned into a nightmate. A hot nightmare.After looking over my air conditioner unit, the technicians found mold and mildew. They proceeded to clean out the evaporator coil and apply sanitizer. Simple enough. Two guys manage okay.The next week the technicians come in to install the UV light and blow out the motor. They clean out the air ducts again and after everything was nice and shiney, the technicians adjust the thermostat to get the air conditioner running. Well the air never blew out. They leave and tell me it has to reset itself and to just let it run. After an hour, I call the technicians and I am told they will send another technician in 20 minutes. By this time, the unit has been running over an hour nonstop trying to reset itself.Enter technician number 3 an hour and half later. 84 degrees in the house.Makes alot of noise and says has to call another technician as #3 doesnt have the right tools. I ask him whats wrong. He doesnt know. (Apparently the right tool comment was his oh oh. He could have said the motor was out. Lame).Enter technician number 4. By this time its been all day and no cooling. Says the motor is damaged. Somehow the motor got damaged and it has to be replaced, and of course, I have to wait till the next day as he has no motor in his back pocket. The worse part is 3 technicians didnt know or wouldnt say what happened. Technician number 4 says hell be back in the morning. Very cordial.After calling the office several times, the answering service tells me they will relay the message. I was never able to get anyone on the phone to tell me what happened. After a very hot night (no passion meant there) technician number 4 shows up the next day and makes the repairs. No one from Comfortable Air calls me to apologize, see how Im doing or to ask if my repairs are done. Finally at 3 pm Comfortable Air rep leaves a message. No apology.Of course I didnt have to pay for the repairs of the damage but I did pay to get the damage. I am very disappointed in the lack of courtesy by this company and being kept in the dark about what really happened. If it had not been for the air conditioner repair team, I would never have known what really happened. No one from Comfortable Air would admit they screwed up. Just because you fix the mistake doesnt reflect good customer service. Good customer service is calling the customer, admitting the error and apologizing for employee incompetence.I do not recommend this company because they have not taken responsibility for their incompetence. All the employees I dealt with have acted like maybe if I keep quiet, no one will notice we screwed up. Everyone knew what was going on and they chose to keep me in the dark and make a fool of me. No senior citizen should be treated like that.

Be careful with this place. They seem nice and knowledgeable at first look but they are scam artists and are only there to upsell their mold uv light system. They do the whole salesman thing where they call their boss to get you a better deal. I repeatedly told him I was later off due to covid and really couldn’t afford extra services. He showed me pictures of mold in my system which I don’t even know if they were pictures of my actual system. However, I do have allergies and decided to go ahead with the service as we negotiated a price and paying over 3 months. The techs name was Ziv. I’m assuming this is the heavy accent guy from other negative reviews. He gave me the receipt to sign showing the price I would be paying each month, I signed it, and he handed me a copy. Next day, I noticed he took the whole amount out of my account. My back has to transfer money from my savings to cover it. I looked at the receipt and he had marked out the payment arrangement and took the whole amount. He did this AFTER I signed but before he gave me the copy. I didn’t think to look at the receipt again after he gave it to me. I would’ve never thought a company could be so under handed. Called the office and a manager was supposed to call me back but didn’t. I can only assume they condone these under handed tricks. I see it happens often in looking at other posts. I just wish I would’ve read reviews before they came.

Comfortable Air cleaned our air vents and dryer vent. They were punctual and Nes and Ruben were very friendly and explained to us what they were going to do.and performed the service very proficiently. They showed us pictures of our air ducts as well and gave us recommendations.

This is fake service. They didnt vent remove vent covers. Their vaccum had poor suction. The way they cleaned is how home cleaning people do it. Very unprofessional. They didnt even go outside to clean the dryer duct instead they threw something in my dryer and powered it I heard very loud sounds which according to them was the dryer Lindt getting thrownout. Rubbish! This tripped that entire phase. I am worried they broke my dryer too.

Please don’t fall for the cheap price they are marketing in ads. It’s honestly a scam to get in the door and then try to sell you on a $1500 service to clean your furnace. We are in real estate and have many rental homes, so we know HVAC. This is a scam. I then had to spend 30 minutes cleaning up after the mess they left behind.

Ruben and Nes came to my home after 5 different companies and fighting with landlord to clean vents for over a year . We have had many hospital visits and dr visits for respiratory issues for myself and children. Landlord would never do anything after even a mold test and so forth. Dr even wrote a letter stating children can no longer live in home with air conditions. Nes came and was so knowledgeable and talked my landlord to get vent cleaning done and I am forever grateful. I’m sure I won’t have to steam vac and vacuum every 3 days and clean dust. It was so excessive and trying. Ruben worked his butt off a d cleaned the mold and they cleaned out all the ducts. I am forever greatful for hard work and will be using this company again !!!

Wasted my hard-earned money! They attached a vacuum to one vent and sucked air through to my air filter, and they brushed the outside of all the vents and 2 air intakes. They did not clean inside vents or air intakes. They charged me for an extra air intake @ $45... for what? They didnt access either of the 2 intakes. Of course, I had to replace the air filter. I opened up the air intakes after they left and cleaned all I could reach myself. Wasted my hard-earned money!

I just want to share this with anyone that may be looking into cleaning their AC Duct. I origanally hire COMFORT AIR, for just dust cleaning in the ac vents and system. I notice my home collecting a lot of dust even after i have dust a week from. So, I realize it have to do with the AC. To make story short, hire this wonderful company they took care of the dust and the MOLD. Yes that is mold, we clean our home, our body, our car but AC need attention too. We all was getting sick in our home without knowing the cost my daughter develop allergies and we dont even have animals in our home. So I thought is AC dust build out, well it was more, more than that. I was able to treat this condition in my home, thank to the help provide by ILAN AND EDGAR. Wonderful employees, wonderful job. I highly recoommend COMFORT AIR. Now my family health will improve and our quality air as well. did I mention the they can install an air purifer that help prevent germs, mold and bacteria in the first place. AWFUL service. Complete trash. Do. Not. Use. Scheduled me a month and a half out at their EARLIEST appointment on December 9th 1-4PM. I got a call AT 3:30PM that day after they confirmed the day prior AGAIN and canceled saying their tech wouldn’t have time to make it over. We rescheduled for their soonest availability of December 23rd 11-2PM. I got a confrontation AGAIN the day before, just to have them cancel again less than 50 minutes before then asked me to reschedule AGAIN in five days. Cannot believe how awful their service is!!

The experience was absolutely horrid. Comfortable Air came to our house to give us an estimate and they were completely unprofessional. First of all, upon a arriving one man was invited into our home for the inspection- he walked around our house like he owned the place and it was very weird to say the least. Then, a man who never introduced himself just walked into our house. I gave him a stern look and he just nervously laughed and then started wandering around to find his colleague. I was astounded at the audacity. The first man went round and round with my husband harshly pressuring him to pay thousands of dollars for a mold service that we repeatedly said “no” to. On top of it all, the second man took smoke breaks outside my home, I am pregnant and that is completely unacceptable behavior. I suggest you stay far away from these people- and needless to say I will not be trusting ValPak for promotions again.

At first when I decided to take them up on their advertised offer _ unlimited ducts and one inlet for $59.99, I did t realize it was a bate and switch. After going through my house attached to one outflow duct, I was told the special was just for dust. And to do the pollen, mold and other contaminates (advertised in their ad), it would be an additional $750. If thats not bate and switch what is?

Good staff that works under duress due to an owner who has no idea what customer satisfaction means. Owner gives you one price over the phone and bills you a different price. Average work.

I had to call them to see if they were coming.However when Sal & his helper arrived they were both very respectful, used shoe covers😂, and cleaned & deoderized my unit & Sal contained/treated the area of mold he found.I was very pleased with how the air in the house smells cleaner. They lied to me during the visit and showed me false/planted pictures of my blower motor after I told them I knew nothing about HVAC systems. After they left I went into the attic to access my system to see the mold they showed me in the picture and the picture they showed me was of an entirely different unit.

Had them clean ducts and vents as well as a dryer vent from a coupon we received in the mail.. Did exactly what the coupon called out as well as cleaned all the vent covers and changed the furnace fillers with the ones had on hand.

Same like others tech said that I have mold, and want to sell me 786 services, at discounted price of curse also how can you clean the two storage ducts on less than 20 minutes and a chimney on 5 minutes( charged me double because , was a two store house they just clean the chimney from the first house and again less than 5 mutes. For the ducts cleaning also with a vacuum... I do not see a bug difference on the clean.this is the worst services ever. I just watch a video on how to clean and they did not do work at all.
