We had two hot water tanks, one had a minor leak at the bottom and all of a sudden, the other had a major water fall leak from the top of the tank on November 27th., Thanksgiving eve.I dont recall their names unfortunately, but two men came out to evaluate the problems. After a couple hours, they made various suggestions about hot water tank replacements or tankless systems. They also highly recommended getting a new water softener because the one we had was too small and was not functioning properly. The prices they quoted were extremely super high, much more than we expected. Because we needed hot water, we opted to go with a tankless system and they said it would take 3 to 4 hours to install and could begin within 1 or 2 hours. At 6pm, two men showed up, Adrian and another tech, but I dont recall his name. They were doing a lot of hard work and nearing completion, they noticed that the control panel was missing. It should have been in the box with the tankless system, but for some reason, it had been removed and not replaced. They stopped working at 10pm and said they can come back in the morning to complete the installation even though it would be Thanksgiving Day. I didnt want to ruin their Thanksgiving, but they were perfectly acceptable to coming over to work and since we didnt have any hot water, I agreed. They came by at approximately 8:30 am. They found a control panel at the warehouse and began the installation of it and to complete the rest of the installation. They were having other issues and seemingly struggled to resolve. The tankless system would run and create hot water for about 1 minute, then stop working and only cold water would come out. This happened repeatedly. I asked if the control panel was even the correct one for the tankless system and they were not sure. After about 5 hours they said they would have to come back the next day to try and fix everything.They came back Friday morning along with other techs to try to resolve all the issues. After about another 4 to 5 hours and a lot more work and rework, they got everything fixed and seemingly fully functioning. So the quoted installation time was 3 to 4 hours, but it took about 13 to 14 hours and we went three days without hot water. After looking at the model number of the tankless system and seeing how much the retail price was online, I was further shocked by the mark up. Even when I factored in miscellaneous materials for installation, piping, etc and factored in generous labor, I still believe that they way over charged me, especially considering the quoted installation lead time vs. actual installation time. Because of all of that and still to this day not knowing if we have the correct control panel, I feel they should have given us a considerable discount.About a week and a half later, we had them install a new water softener, which was also extremely expensive. There were no issues with installation or it functioning properly.Even with the variety of issues and concerns, everything has been fixed, so Im sure we will continue to use Goettl.
Today around 6am we discovered a water leak in our garage. We called Goettl Plumbing and in less than 2 hours they dispatched Mr. Rudy. He was truly a God send. He was empathetic to our situation, professional, courteous, and reassured us Goettl stands behind their service to take care of us. We applaud his efficiency, how he explained the process, listened to our concerns and answered all our questions. Also, we give kudos to Mr. Teri with Goettl for his support in the process. We love that Mr. Rudy never lost sight of putting our needs first and the urgency in getting the work done. We would recommend Goettl to anyone. We have been with them over the years and each interaction 5 star plus rating.
You get what you paid for, if I have more time wouldve definitely got a 2nd quote. 3k for a crocked toilet. Not to mention they switched from the offset flange to a straight one. They said they would have to tear up my floor and redirect the drain pipe to get the toilet center. Of course that was all extra $$$. Update as of 01/16/2025 no one has reached out to me to make this right in any way.
Had to update my google review. Was upsold a water softener to get a deal to find a leak and if it was outside they’d said they’d cover it. Once it was confirmed the leak was outside the agreement was backtracked even after I requested to hear the call myself. They wanted to charge 6k to fix the outside leak on top of the 6.5k I spent on the water softener to find the leak. I contacted Beyer and they charged me half of 6k to fix the leak and even informed me that I didn’t need to get a softener to find the leak. I recommend recording the calls yourself and not rely on their recorded line to verify.
Update:They made mistakes and had to come back and finish the job. They had to be asked for updates throughout a two week process of our dining room and master bath torn up.Had to call them again this morning because there was another leak that it seems like wasn’t caught in their earlier assessment. Not thrilled with their process and even though we’ve been offered credit, it seems like $3800 is a ton of money to cut two sections of dry wall and replace a few feet of plumbing.Got here quickly and Rudy was great at communicating each step.
I give Andrew/Goettl Five stars because: Andrew arrived on time which was necessary for me to meet my daily obligations. 2. Andrew was very professional and even showed me how my pipes looked, which helped me understand better the reason for using this service. 3. I was happy to talk to Andrew and one of the Managers of Goettl Which gave me a couple of options that I can use to further expand the use of my plumbing in the sink kitchen, which I will think about and decide on which option would best serve my needs. Also, the service call price was exceptional. Which made me very happy.
Technician was very nice but he told me that I need a new motor. Next day, I finally got the original company to come oh and it turns out, something was unplugged. I wish he would have seen the easy fix. Would have saved me another $200. Esh

I had a leak previously repaired by a different company that was still leaking, so I decided to call Goettl, to get a pro to repair it. I was seriously impressed, the leak was repaired and it looks and works perfectly. Rudy came by on a Friday and dug up the pipes, identified where it was leaking and came back Saturday morning to repair it. The repair was truly a work of art. I highly recommend Goettl for your plumbing needs, make sure to as for Rudy.

Our technician, Sam, was very thorough, competent, and friendly. He explained in detail what he was doing and why. We were very pleased with his service. Five stars for Sam, but three for the company because I was contacted three times, BEFORE we’d even seen a technician, trying to hard sell us a long term (monthly commitment) maintenance plan. We surely weren’t committing to a long term (2 years) financial obligation when we didn’t even know if the company was a fit for us or not. They probably are, but that was not a decision we were going to make before we saw the kind of work, charges, etc that they would make.
We had the evaluation done by technician Andrew Arizola the very day we called. The plan was set and technician Mike Lucio came the very next morning to fix our shower issue. He worked diligently and was done within 4 hours. Both technicians were very professional and did an outstanding job. I highly recommend.
Rudy came was polite explained in detail what he would do did it and unfortunately I had an unexpected emergency and was able to leave so I asked Rudy if the other service rendered could be done at another time after we discussed we had a fairly new hvac he said yes and I truly appreciated it. Had a complicated install I was doing myself upgrading from our old thermostat to a new smart thermostat. Unfortunately I wasnt able to complete this task given that I needed to update some cable work but fortunately for me I contacted Goettl and they sent over someone within 24 hrs! Our heating system went out, we didn’t know what the issue was. Jesus came out to assess what the issue was. He was great, very personable, thoroughly explained everything, showed us photos and videos what was going on with our heating/AC system. We had option to repair or replace our system, chose to replace, Jesus stayed after hours to ensure we understood everything and all the pros and cons with repair versus replacement. Day of install, Matthew, Billy and Johnny called to let us know they were on the way and showed up on schedule. 110 percent personable and professional, worked 10 hours straight dealing with three barking dogs to install attic and outside units. All precautionary measures were taken to ensure cleanliness and to prevent damage to areas affected by install. Explained how everything worked, helped us download all apps, connect to wireless and system information to get us up and running again,. Couldn’t be happier with the outstanding customer service and overall experience, thank you Goettl.

We have signed up for the maintenance program after Elmer’s installed a new heating and cooling system for us. They contact us like clock work and check both inside and outside units. I thought 263.12 was very expensive for less than an hour labor. The part installed was my own since I had a new faucet on hand. However, I do appreciate that they came out the same day, And, since he was already here, I let him do it since I didnt want to have to pay the 90.00 call fee if I wouldve refused it. He also said he had already given me the 5% veterans discount which is 5% less than most other Plumbing companies. I thought Id give GOETTL a chance to gain a customer, But I will never use them again. 263. Dollar an hour labor is ridiculous.

We have been in our house for 18 months. Had our ac go out “13 years old and poorly maintained by previous owner” as it started to heat up again here in wonderful Texas. I have used multiple companies in the past while living in San Antonio and was very unhappy with quality of work and customer service. I always hear of three main companies on the radio and decided to try Goettl. Didn’t think they would come out to Lytle but sure enough, they called me right away which was surprising because it was after 6 p.m. They sent a technician the next morning and I noticed right away there was consistent professionalism with their employees, not only over the phone but in person. They provided about as much information as a person could get to make an informed decision and we chose to go with a new system. They even offered to do it that day even though it was pretty late in the day but we chose to await. Just another level of customer service that made us feel we called the right company. Brian and Marcus showed up the next day with boot covers in hand and went to work all while upholding the professionalism that we had experienced with the three previous Goettl employees up to that point. These two were patient with all the questions and thoroughly explained what they were doing throughout the process and made sure they didn’t leave without answering all our questions. Eric Guerrero and Adrian did a great job replacing my water heater. I woke up to a flooded laundry room and they were out within two hours. Their response time was amazing. They got my water heater replaced by the end of the day and left their workspace cleaner than they found it. Eric did a great job at explaining all the safety features of the new water heater to me and my husband that my old water heater did not have. I feel confident in the work Goettl did and I’m really appreciative of their customer service.

On this past Sunday I was in need of a repair for a leak in the wall in my laundry room. I had prayed for God to send someone with a good heart,patience and kindness. So, he sent Darean Guerra. Miguel was my service provider. He was professional and enlighten which is not way people behave these days. He actually looked happy to do his job it wasnt a chore. I was show in pictures how my ac unit was operating and what was needed for it to be fixed. He was really adamant with me trying to get my unit up and running, he even offered me a deal since my budget was limited. But due to my finical situation I was not able to afford both options of a fix to get it running or the complete replacement that my unit really needs. I would recommend this company.

Richard and Justin from Goettl came to an apartment I was renting to service a problem with a shower drain upon the request of my Landlord. I was at the apartment. Goettl did an impressive job of notifying me of the arrangement my Landlord had made to have the plumbers come. Goettl handled that very conveniently and even offered me an accelerated appointment. Then Richard and Justin came. They had called ahead kindly. They were very friendly and polite, and quickly and efficiently addressed the issue. They were a great team to do business with if one has a plumbing problem.
Peter and Johnny came out and didn’t give me any runaround nor did they try and sell me something i didn’t need. They were both very knowledgeable and explained everything that needed to be done. They treated me like i was a part of their own family. Then Billy came and performed the install fast and was very friendly! Will definitely be a Goettl customer for any of my HVAC issues.
Brandon was great and thorough, went over the photos and cleaned the unit. He was polite and nice.He did not clean the reusable the furnace filter but I am not sure if they do that on an AC visit or if they are allowed to?

I was happy when they said they could come out on a Sunday to fix my hot water heater but I was not happy with the technician not knowing or having a clue of what to do and had to call his manager and they could not tell me what was wrong. They just gave me expensive prices for parts and told me I would possibly need a new water heater that would be over $6000 and the manager told me that a master plumber would be out on Monday to “reassess” and figure out what the problem was because the original technician they sent did not have a clue. I needed hot water and didn’t have the time to be waiting around not knowing if anyone knew what they were doing.So I had another company come out and look at it right afterwards, they knew immediately what it was. They contacted their office and they located the two parts and fixed it Monday morning in an hour and a half.I will not be calling Goettl plumbing ever again. Oh and my bill was $450, not the $600-$800+ they quoted me, not even knowing what the issue was. I had gotten the vibe right away that the very young technician did not know much. Especially when I asked him what he thought after he was just staring at it for several minutes his answer to me was “it’s very interesting” and that he needed to go out in his vehicle and call his manager. And he seemed a little bit too arrogant as well.Sorry, but you wanted my feedback and my experience.Thank you.
Edgar is simply outstanding. Not only does he know his business but he has the personality that we makes the customer feel at ease. He explains the steps he takes so the customer understands. Thank you Edgar for a great job! Additionally, a Jose Torres installed a water heater in a rent house I own. While I didn’t personally observe his work my renters are extremely pleased with his work and the end results. Another super job by Goettl technicians!!!!!
Goettl Plumbers caused a NIGHTMARE!!! for me and its been almost a month and still no resolution. Plumber was Very DISHONEST!!! I have lost all TRUST! I had a Membership that meant Nothing! First Plumber that arrived did not even introduce himself, how Rude!!! Then he said: Im not touching your pipes, you can Call Another Plumber OR Hire us to replace all your pipes, Shocking!!!. Think Twice! before you hire them. They were paid to replace all pipes in my home but did NOT!!! If you have a drywall Open Up the wall before they leave. The Old Pipes behind a Shower and behind the Washer REMAINED!!! after the job was complete. Today I still have a LEAK under my home per New Plumber and my water bill has gone up! The new pipes are sitting on the ground for Rodents to reach. If you have to leave your home and you LOCK the door, check all doors because they still ENTERED Anyway while I was GONE! Even after I asked do you need any tools before i lock the door. They had No Permission! to enter while I was gone. I hired Goettl for my Home but then they had to snoop around in my garage and also touch the pipes for a Studio too, they had No Permission. You say on day one, no need to replace master bathroom pipes for it was remodeled and yet they still entered my bedroom to then go into this master bathroom, again while I was GONE!, per their photos. One plumber offered free work for the Studio water heater, to add small tank he found on garage floor and also gave me his personal cell#, who does that? So glad I have lots of photos, they dont lie. This Nightmare has taken so much of my time and has been so Overwhelming with Stress! Sleepless nights, headaches, etc. to say the least. Last when you get a mail card about Membership Benefits, $2500 off piping replacement, dont fall for it, did not happen.

Our AC went down for the upstairs unit. We have a maintenance plan through another company but they do not provide 24/7 service. I called Goettl and I am so happy I did. Jesus Gloria was out within a few hours. I was called to confirm the appointment window. Then texted with the photo attached so I would know who my technician was and the link to track their arrival. Jesus was so professional and explained everything to make sure I understood. He took photos and videos to make sure I could see what he was talking about. Then showed me the photos after the repairs. I am so impressed with this experience. The company very clearly communicates how important customer satisfaction is to them. A+++ service and Jesus did an amazing job. I will definitely consider their maintenance plan in the future which also includes routine plumbing inspections and flushing for the same price other companies charge for HVAC services alone.

Had an appointment this morning for an A/C check so it’s ready to run for this cold weather properly. I was very pleased with service technician Abdiel Chavez, he was courteous, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I appreciated his recommendation on coil cleaning and giving me the name of air filters I should be using for a better running system. I highly recommend.
Goettl was able to get both my plumbing and AC tune ups done on the same day. Thankful they can do this to avoid having to miss time for work for both appointments. Both Joe Benavides for plumbing and Matthew Lopez for the AC we very knowledgeable and walked me through everything thing they were doing as well as educating me on the whys behind what they were doing. I have two experiences on the same day with Tyler and one with Malachi. On first meeting with Tyler he conveyed that there was no doubt that he would fix the problem today. I enjoyed his confidence, told me he knew what he was doing. He had to leave to get more equipment and told me how long it would take to return. He returned faster than he mentioned and brought Malachi to help speed up the repair. They got right at it and finished faster than predicted. I am a do it myself kind of person but this repair was out of my range . Very clean and complete job. I hope I do not need any repairs soon but if needed Goettl will be the first and only call .
Frank M came out to my house this morning as we had put in a request to have our water heater looked at. Mr. Frank came in and assessed our water heater and advise says that it needed to Be replaced due to a huge leakHe was very professional in the information that he provided and advice of what options we had. We proceeded to go with replacing our unit and instead of having the one star we chose the three star due to all the amenities that was best I want to thank him for his professional. And all the information that was provided. The company was so great that they were able to get us processed today and our water heater will be replaced later on this afternoon. Cameron was awesome! Very professional and informative about the product and service. You should be very proud of him.Unfortunately, Cameron didn’t catch a major issue with the A/C unit. The unit actually had a leak that was caught by another company that was giving a quote to clean unit.Goettl returned and verified the leak.What made this worse was the fact that I hired Goettl as part of a “home inspection” during the 10 day inspection window. Had they caught the. Issue, I could’ve negotiated with the seller to either repair or replace unit.Did Goettl replace coil at their expense due to their negligence? No.They refunded inspection fee thinking that should be more than enough apology for missing a $7,000 -$9,000 mistake.Promises made, promises broken.
I am only giving 3 stars because it seems everytime they come out for part of the maintenance plan, they always find things that need done. However, this review is more about my technician Jose. He was very friendly informative and understanding. He listened to my concerns and though he pitched me some upsells, he wasnt a hard sell, which I appreciated. For him personally I would say 5 stars.
We had found this company at the home show so figured they could take care of something simple yet done correctly and we were wrong about that. Wife and I had bought a new thermostat to replace our old one and we thought we had installed incorrectly so Technician showed up and was polite at first then we showed him the hvac system we needed to have maintenance and he was quick to say our system was about to need replacing because we needed to replace one to three different parts that came out to over 4K. Then showed us some options to fully replace our system so we declined and said we would get multiple estimates when I came to something so costly, which low end stated it would be over 14k to get an entire system replaced. We then had a family member come and change the thermostat we were inquiring at first and from then on we have had no issues and system is back to cooling effectively. This made us lose complete trust that they even looked correctly at a solution and just wanted to sell us on the idea that our hvac system needed replacing. We still paid the invoice but feel like this charge was unnecessary for the “work” that was conducted.
We use Goettl for many of our household maintenance needs. Most recently, Doug and Aiden came out to address a plumbing issue we were having at our house. Doug serviced our house before on another project, so the familiarity is a reassuring feeling. Both Aiden and Doug did great work, and we’d be confident in them in the future for any of our household plumbing needs.
Tech was very professional, punctual, and polite. I initially gave them five stars because of this.On later reflection, I realized they hadnt done the one thing I actually wanted them to do: check the refrigerant level of my AC.They diagnosed an issue which, unfortunately, could have been caused by low refrigerant levels. Guess well never know now, will we? Maybe we will when I call a competitor.They prepared me some quotes to do various work; they seemed a bit high, but fair overall. They tried to sell me an expensive vent-cleaning that I am certain I did not need. They tried very hard to get me to sign up for a service plan, where Id be billed monthly, but could get the $90 service fee waived.The last thing I need is another monthly bill. It seems like these guys are very professional and polite, but also very interested in upselling you at every opportunity.The tech also asked for a review before he left; which I did, and, as I mentioned above, I originally made it a five-star review. After I thought about it for a bit, I got a little irritated with the whole thing; I realized Id basically paid $90 to have a polite guy come out and not do the one diagnostic test I actually wanted, but simply tell me that my compressor was having trouble starting up. I already knew that; thats why I called em in the first place.So I changed it to an angry two-star review, where I griped about all this. Well, then I got a call at like 8pm from these guys, wanting to talk about the AC visit. Thats my family time; I dont answer the phone in the evenings, but I found this a little unsettling, so I deleted the review. Felt bad, anyway; Id mentioned the tech by name, and he was a nice guy, doing his job, as hed been trained. Its hard times all around; I dont wanna make anyones life difficult.They were supposed to call me back today, but didnt--just as well, I guess; Ive already reached out to a competitor. Hopefully I can get them to actually check my refrigerant level.I found Goettle to be very friendly, but very sales-focused. They used a lot of rather heavy-handed, high-pressure tactics that rubbed me the wrong way, and left me feeling irritated and disappointed. I wont be doing further business with them.
Doug and Aiden did a fantastic job! Fixed my leak and made sure everything was up to code. Very detailed explanations and excellent work. Arrived the very next morning when I discovered a slow leak at night. Would definitely use Goettl for any plumbing in the future!
Jorge Gutierrez did a marvelous job. I had requested a check on my heater unit. He assessed that and found a problem right away. He further investigated our air conditioning unit and found several problems and fixed those. His main goal was to be honest and for us to be safe. I appreciated his knowledge, his patience, and his attitude.
Ryan and his helper were two of the nicest guys you could ever meet! Once they arrived our plumbing issues were promptly resolved. They were very knowledgeable and very informative. We will definitely be using Goettl for all our plumbing needs.
Very quick service. I called them at 6:45 am as my water heater was leaking and Joseph arrived by 8:15 am. Very personable, efficient. Wanted to replace it immediately but I had to delay a day due to my work. Joseph also found another issue with HVAC duct damage from rodents which I appreciate. Installers (Eric and team) were pleasant and thorough with a difficult install and removal in 40 degree rain (was in attic at far side of house from attic entrance). Took longer than anticipated but this was likely due to attic installation. If I could I would drop a half star because the price was rather expensive but decided to stick with 5 stars because, everything else considered, they earned it.
This is the type of quality service that everyone needs! Billy went above and beyond in helping me discover what was going on with my AC unit. He not only provided the service that I asked for, but also looked more into the issue to make sure that everything was functioning the way it’s supposed to. Update it was not however, Billy and his team assured me that they provide quality for the quantity. The team’s customer service is respectful and transparent which I feel everyone needs. Once again, with expertise and efficiency, Goettl showed up as promised. Andrew diagnosed the repair and resolved all of my sink/faucet/plumbing issues at a reasonable cost. It is always a breath of fresh air to work with fair and honest Plumbers/technicians. Thanks again, we appreciate it.
Jesus Gloria did a great job fixing our hvac system. He was professional and gave us detailed information on the problem we had with our system. He made sure that before he left everything was working and to our satisfaction.

Miguel Benavides came to service my heater and was the most pleasant, knowledgeable technician I have had in my home! He explained what I needed done, why and suggested a way to make sure my air flow was good and improve it if there were any leaks in the vents. I would recommend him to anyone! He agreed to come back next week to complete the heater needs and I will be happy it is him doing the job!
Jerry with Goettl plumbing did an outstanding job clearing out my tub drain. He answered all my questions and I had a lot of them. I am now more versed in the mechanics of tub drains. Jerry was thorough in cleaning up the tub when he was finished. A very personable young man. Great experience!

Received a call after 6pm to tell me it would be another 45 minutes. Be honest, be organized, and be considerate. Your customers deserve this at a minimum. Thankfully, my Tech - Darean - was great. Matthew was great! Very relatable and professional, he had some very good recommendations on what needed to be done on my unit, however due to finances I only got my breaker changed. Only thing I didn’t like was the call center had a very slow response time. I would call and ask to schedule/reschedule for the work to be done. Their schedule was not aligning with my availability to be home. I was told I would get a call back 48 hours after by the installation department and never received the call. I would receive the call a few days later during the day while I was asleep with the same people from the call center I originally disclosed to the call center I work night shift so they put it in the notes to ONLY call me 7AM-9AM and I would get woken up by them calling me for the same issue with the availability being limited. The technician Matt was awesome! I hope he gets a raise or something he’s awesome!
William came out to our home following our yearly A/C maintenance to see if we had a compressor saver issue. Immediately William was able to identify the issue and even went a step further for us to identify other issues. Being in corporate sales/project coordination for power generation I could see how much electrical knowledge William had on top of HVAC, which is a HUGE bonus to have in that field! I personally learned a lot I did not know. It left us feeling very taken care of and very confident in Goettl as a whole. He represented the company extremely well. I was impressed by how much he knew and hope to see him grow and move up with the company as we stay customers of Goettl.

I cannot stress enough how much I regret choosing Goettl Air Conditioning. Their service has been an absolute nightmare. After two power surges in late July knocked out my AC, I turned to Goettl, hoping for a fresh start. That decision has quickly become one of my biggest regrets.I spent over $15,000 on a mid-tier AC unit that was installed at the end of July, and since then, it has been nothing but trouble. Despite the hefty price tag, I’ve been without AC twice due to faulty coils. Goettl has visited my home at least four times to address issues that should never have happened with a brand-new system. To add insult to injury, I paid $1,500 for duct work that wasn’t even completed. When they later blamed the system’s problems on inadequate returns, they tried to charge me for it again! Only after I pushed back did they finish the work I had already paid for.Even more alarming, the refrigerant has had to be refilled three times in just two weeks because of ongoing leaks. How can a brand-new system fail so catastrophically?On top of the technical failures, their customer service has been nothing short of appalling. Rather than addressing the serious, ongoing problems with my unit, they seem more focused on upselling me service subscriptions and water heaters. I’ve endured eight days without AC over two weeks in the peak of summer, and there has been no urgency whatsoever to resolve the issues—yet they keep pushing me to buy more!The final straw came last night when I called to confirm today’s appointment and to request another refrigerant refill to keep the house cool until they could properly fix the unit. I was shocked to learn that I wasn’t even on the schedule, despite being told I would be after their last visit on Tuesday and that they would not come to my house to recharge the Freon again. To top it off, I’m being told that they are charging me $89 to return to my house, to fix a brand-new, defective system that is still under warranty!Goettl has completely failed to provide even the most basic level of service or customer care. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, avoid this company at all costs. If I could return the entire system and go with another provider, I’d do it in a heartbeat.Save yourself the frustration—look elsewhere. I’m unfortunately stuck for the next 10 years.
Darean was wonderful. He told me everything he was doing each step of the way. He gave me explanations on the how’s and the why’s and cleaned up after himself. Got my drains cleared and found the source, which was a pipe breakage. He was very polite and personable, truly exemplifying great customer service. Definitely an asset to the organization. I will be calling on them again for any plumbing needs in the future.

They quickly diagnose & fix and never pressure an unnecessary upsell. After the job, they clean up everything so you hardly know they were here. Absolutely recommend Goettl! Updating review because a service manager, Justin, and technician, Nathan were able to get a new water heater installed today and make everything right. Thank you both for being so helpful.Our troubles with Goettl started last year. Before I go on, I will say the technicians have all been nice and hard working. The company itself is garbage. Our pipes froze last year so we called a couple of companies and this one had same day availability. We already had the Sadie plan so we were told it would cost $49 - great. The man comes out and said $49 to come out but $249 to get under the house to check the damage (1st red flag). So the $49 is just for them to drive to my home and knock?? He comfirmed damage and told us what needed to be done we asked about cost and he couldnt tell us we had to talk to some other guy on the phone which was frustrating. We finally agreed to repipe our whole house. In doing so we were pressured into purchasing a new water heater due to the age of ours and the specifically said the city inspector would not pass the inspection without a new one anyways. We reluctantly agreed. The manager also sent a water restoration company who also was totally fraud and a headache to deal with.After the pipes were done they buried all the piping in the yard and no City inspector came. I had to call several times to ask for a quality manager to come check the work as they promised and ask when the city would come out. I was once told it wasnt needed. I insisted they get inspector as that was the reason we got a new water heater. They agreed. A week later we had a puddle in our neighbors driveway and found that it was coming from our home. They dug up the pipes to find one of the fittings was faulty and repaired the issue. Still no quality manager or city inspector. I continued to call finally had one out weeks later which the city required multiple updates to the water heater installation. They finally fixed those and passed inspection. I asked for the inspection report and still have not received it. Later while looking under the house we saw old and new piping laying on the ground. Had them come and they advised thats all old did you want us to remove it? Umm I believe thats what we paid for.Here we are a year later and our water heater went out on 2/17. They came out tried to fix it but couldnt repair with the parts in stock. They had to order from the manufacturer which would take 3-5 days. No hot water in this 20 -30 degree weather. The part arrives we called to see if they can install and told us it would be another 2 days for someone to come out. I immediately got upset and explained weve been without hot water this whole time then they were able to get someone out tomorrow.Stay away from this company they do not care for their customers. They care about the $$$. I left out what felt like a bidding war I had with the guy on the phone who by the way had to call back 3xs to give me pricing on everything when we had the pipes and water heater replaced. It was so gross.
Johnny did an outstanding job, thorough, and hard-working. He was able to fix items on our outside unit for our AC and made me feel comfortable sleeping at night knowing the AC unit will improve.
I called Goettle after having an issue arise for the 3rd time with my kitchen sink that another company had worked on. Making an appointment was easy, and the updates were appreciated. Andrew came in with Mike and explained to me why this was happening and showed me with a camera. They have the equipment and knowledge to solve my kitchen sink backing up issue! He was very informative and answered all my questions. Very happy with the service and with Andrew and Mike being kind and informative.

This is the fourth time that I used Goettl for an issue. The technician Tyler was very professional and helped to solve the issue. He had to return to my home the next day with the video equipment to confirm that all issues had been resolved and was extremely professional each time. The fees I paid were reasonable and the problem was completely resolved. He also was able to inform me of some potential future issues that could be a major problem. I would recommend Goettl service to anyone who ask me who I would recommend Goettl any type of service. I appreciate their professionalism and business practices.
Although the serviceman that visited our home to diagnose the HVAC issue was very personable and pleasant, he was the consummate salesman. He made certain assumptions regarding the source of the problem without any testing, couldn’t concretely identify the age of the unit, and in the end made every effort to convince us to purchase a brand new unit. This was based on a cost analysis savings over just buying only the damage part that would repair the unit. The difference to us was upwards of $5,000 that we are not ready to spend if we don’t have to at this time. We requested more definite estimates with certain discounts that were mentioned by the serviceman. He agreed to speak with his manager and get back the next weekday. We received a text that an appointment was made for the serviceman to return. That was never the agreement but only for real estimates. For all of these reasons, we opted to go with another company.
Jorge George was respectful and easy to communicate with. He listened and answered all our questions. Informed us of what and how Goettl could do with the 20+yr old system in our home, and gave us time and space make the best decision for us. So far very pleased with Goettls professional conduct and standards.

Nathan arrived on time and proceeded to check out our water softener for potential problems. Thankfully, there was no trouble. Nathan then proceeded to exchange the four filters for our under the sink water refiner. Nathan did a thorough job and was finished with our call in a very timely fashion. All was completed within 6 hours from our service call.
Ryan B. & Kaelen did a great job of clearing out our water softener drain. They arrived on time, were extremely respectful & courteous, & were very efficient at their jobs. I will definitely use Goettl’s services again in the future because of the great people they have representing them in the field.
In the future I will reach out to Goettl should I require plumbing work. Tyler Leija conducted himself as a professional and knowledgeable individual. Tyler took the time to explain what my pluming issue was and detailed what process he was getting to conduct in order to fix my issue. Tyler repaired my issue in under 30 minutes. Very impressive. Definitely on my list of recommended service providers.

Miguel was very informative on different aspects of the heating and air-conditioning system. He asked me if I had changed the air conditioner filter lately and I asked him he was going to give me the model number so I can get the size correct for the next time you guys come out and he never got back with me

Give these guys a raise!February 2025 - Our unit was working properly with the cold weather, but Michael showed up and had it fixed in no time! He was also nice enough to give my son a stuffed animal and flashlight. Great service.

We were experiencing some issues with our water heater, and were able to schedule a tech to come check it out the next day. Our tech was Jonathan salcedo, If he did an incredible job. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem in 1 hour. Not only did he fix our problem, but he took the time to explain to me what was going on with it and how I can do some regular maintenance on my own to prevent it from happening again. He was also friendly, professional, and fun to talk to.
Andrew was great, he came in and inspected the toilet. He told me what the problem was and explained what needed to be done. He cleaned the area when he finished and he was very polite and professional. I would totally recommend Goettl!
Douglas and Aidon were very professional and courteous, did very good work. Price was acceptable for toilet replacement, other price quoted to change Moen faucet cartridges was outlandish. Also I did not like the attempts at upsetting other services.

Provided me with important information on my unit something I have not experienced with the installer of ac system. Good to know there are still companies that look out for customers. Darrell Gonzales came out for a preventative maintenance check. Darrell was polite, wore shoe covers every time he entered my home, knocked before entering and provided an update every time he could. Not only did he show us all the readings he recorded, he provided solutions as well as upgrade solutions to help extend and improve the quality of our AC system. I value customer service and Darrell checks off all the boxes one can think of relating to customer service. Darrell Gonzales went above and beyond in offering his customer support, providing information on additional services and providing the best upgrade solutions for our AC system. Actually my drain wasnt clogged before you guys came out. I told the person I made the appointment with that I was hoping you guys had a way to clean out my drain better than I could. She made an appointment with me understanding that I had a slow but not clogged drain. Your plumber arrived and I told him the same thing. He left after telling me what I already knew. Herman the snake and camera and left trying to sell me a 500 dollar drain cleaning option with a pressure washer. We wasted $80 of our money. After he left that night we found water under our sink. A great deal of water. Your plumber did not tighten the clean out plug and our drain, that wasnt clogged before is now clogged. I wish the person that made the appointment would have had a little expertise and told us from the start that you could only do what we asked for $500. Your plumber made our situation much worse. This seemed shady to me. I wish I had not called at all.

We had originally tried going with will fix it to fix a broken pipe but said they would be here till Monday. Goettl and Douglas came and did everything same day for a much better price and very quickly. We thankfully did not have to go all weekend without water
Jerry and Justin did a great job fixing a sink and working on the water heater. It was so blocked up it wouldnt drain (its from 1999!), so they gave me some options to replace and we got it done the same day. Very happy with their service!

Mr. Douglas Rivera & his associate Jr. arrived at my home to fix a faulty water faucet in our guest bathroom & did a phenomal job. When they arrived they were very polite & introduced themselves to my family... including our dog! Really couldnt have asked for more from Goettl. The staff was very timely in responding to my online appointment request. Tyler came out and presented all the options and even had a video showing me the issues with my drain. There was no pressure and I appreciate him taking the time to let me know what future repairs may look like. Will definitely use Goettle in the future.
Called goettl plumbing to unclog my drain. I thought I would be paying 80 dollars for the service. Due to my lack of a clean out, the price shot up to 350. The technician was unable to clear the clog and told me he needed to run a camera. This shot the price up to 700. Then he told me there was a break in my drain pipe. They told me they could repair it for ONLY 6000. After speaking with the manager, he agreed to ONLY charge me 350, even though they didn’t really help and removed a toilet. I feel that this company is only in business to take advantage of their customers by bait and switching you to run the bill up. Do yourself a major favor and call any other plumber, I had to after I received their over priced and insufficient services. I will never call this company again. Lastly, I’m leaving this review because they sent me a text message asking me to do so.
Initial Experience (11/27):Rudy provided excellent service during his visit. He was punctual, professional, and thorough in addressing the issue. I appreciated his clear communication and the quality of his work at the time, which led me to feel confident in his assessment.Update (12/23):Unfortunately, after Rudy’s visit, where the issue was quickly dismissed as plumbing-related, I decided to call All American Irrigation for a second opinion. Their team investigated thoroughly and determined that the issue was NOT related to irrigation.Now, a month later and after receiving a significantly high water bill, Goettl is scheduled to revisit on 12/24 to address the unresolved leak. It’s frustrating to think this issue might have been resolved during the initial visit if more effort had been made. While I’ve generally had good experiences with this company, this situation has been both costly and time-consuming, especially with taking time out for these visits, we’ll see!

He was very nice, walked me through what he was going to do and showed me some areas in my system that could improve my air quality and furnace operation. I had been experiencing 46 to67 degrees COLD air when thermostat was set at 77 on heat. I had changed the thermostat batteries and it worked for an instant and dropped down. I was dressed like an Eskimo and slept like that for a week. Mr Peter worked magic with thermostat and then it was working. It is now 10am Saturday morning and I had the first comfortable night in a week and up till now. Thank you for that. And the sensors he put up now if something goes wrong the sensor will notify the company. God bless you.

Friendly heads up long review I had to re-edit and add on. I can’t say enough of good things….It took me by complete surprise with world class customer service from first late night call from Zane, down to phone customer service , Joseph, and to the labor plumbing team Paulo “Adrian” and Adrian , forgive me names I may have missed who all was involved. Paulo and Adrian showed up the next day and wasted no time working so hard for 3 full straight days from morning to evening .How you were treated with such kind professionalism, courteous respect , and strong communications. Joseph took his time explaining everything and went thru every room inside and out. Showing me why this should be a concern with explanation which all made sense why it wasn’t just a toilet leak issue. Totally oblivious the damages, leaks, and danger our water heaters the condition it was in with leaking carbon monoxide. Although it was a lot to take in unexpectedly. But I felt all involved made sure my family were taken care over the top. I was given an option to bandage fix it or fix it from the root cause and explains the pros and cons. Took a huge load of stress of worrying what else could go wrong as I chose the root cause fix . They did everything for you it’s like hiring a team of doctor specialist you’re under great care.With transparency, I was overwhelmed with emotions with almost $2,000 water bill trying to fix it with no experience but watching from YouTube DIY toilet fix. I made matters so much worst , water pressure burst into like a fire hose mode spraying in every direction to the point I had to do an emergency shut off from water source.There was a deeper root issue until Goettl came to my rescue. My absolute heroes!!!! I cannot emphasize enough their professionalism and compassion as I felt horrible but I never ever felt judged from anyone. It was an attitude of a mission to help in their expertise. Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart I feel my family is so much safer now. Thinking it was was just a toilet leak, a blessing in disguise or else the leaking carbon monoxide would have been neglected even longer. And our water fine charges now have a chance to be dismissed. Technician was professional and quickly addressed the issue. Definitely Felt there was pressure from the offices down to oversell any repair. I had a pipe bust and had to repair a couple of fittings on my hot water heaters which ended up costing just over $700 for seven fittings most connectors and two 6 inch pipes. They quoted $550 more dollars to replace the two overflow tanks which simply screw on and off and run $40 apiece. Definitely way overpriced, but they knew I was against the wall with no water so they got me.

He and the entire team, Eric and David have been extremely professional, helpful and worked hard on my projects. Even having to remove large cabinet to access the wall behind for repair. Matthew was our technician last week and he was very methodical in detailing what the issues were with the AC unit. He took the time to explain to me the purposes and the impact of what had happened & what needed to be done. Not trying to sale anything but giving clear and precise information. Testing everything, taking pictures of the entire unit inside & outside of the house. I felt very comfortable & informed about what should be done moving forward.

Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback. Jeremy was late from when he was slated to arrive. I received a text at 10:07 am he was on the way and then a call at 11:36 am and was advised he would arrive at 12:30 pm. He pulled up at 1:15 pm and didn’t leave until 3:20 pm. In the past, it’s taken ~hour to service our unit and test the heat. The recommendations at the end were a new duct needed as well as an additional return air vent. We’ve lived here for almost 10 years, custom built house with ample ducts and air flow. To say that we were frustrated is an understatement. He was late and took over two hours to complete the work. Caused us to be late for appointments that afternoon.
I would rate 0 stars if I could. They came to my home and left my house worse than when they came in. I turned power off to install a motion detector. When I turned the power back on the system like thermostat was working, but the ac unit outside was not coming on. Otherwise though my fan was working inside. I still had air flow and ventilation. I know because the technician had me take a tissue and a broom to test it and he confirmed it was a good sign. Now Ive returned home and the fan no longer works. He turned the entire system off. The thermostat now is not working either. Then charged me $300 for a supposed leak test. Do not recommend. Zero stars!

No one likes having to replace the AC. It’s a pain in the ass and it’s expensive. But both technicians that came out to my house—Abdiel for initial repairs and Billy for a couple of follow-up repairs—were awesome, and Goettl made the whole process very easy. We ended up replacing our inside unit and the install guys were able to make it out the same day which was incredible. We had some issues where it was running but it wasn’t cooling the house so I called again and Billy was able to come out, diagnose the issue right away, and get us in good shape. Amazing company, great customer service.

Last night, we awoke to a burning smell throughout the house and determined it was coming from the heater. We are part of the Smart Sadie program, which has saved us $$ on service calls, so I got online at 3AM to schedule an appointment. Within a minute I had the appointment booked for today between 9AM-1PM. I received a text confirming my appointment and Edgar arrived to our home at 9:45 AM. He listened to me explain what happened, then got to work. When he came back downstairs he explained what was happening with our heating coils, and that we were lucky that we woke up because we could have had a fire! Our system in 10 years old and we have sunk a few thousand dollars into over the last two years and were hoping that our last service call with Goettl would have helped us nurse the system until we decided to purchase a new unit, but when you wake up and think your house is on fire, its a wake up call. Edgar explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions. We could have spent $1300 to patch it again, but the next thing to go would be $$$, so we decided to look into a new unit. The preapproval for financing was super easy. Edgar and Tony (GM) walked us through our options and they both took the time to answer all of our questions. They even credited the money we spent last month on the new blower motor. I could not be more satisfied with the consultative approach and the service received by Edgar. Our new unit will be installed tomorrow! Thank you Goettl for another great experience. Your team goes above and beyond! Also, our fur babies, Piper and Indy, both LOVE their new Sadie plushies! I had a great experience today with Goettl. We had been experiencing low water preasure in some areas of the house. Joseph came over and did a thorough inspection of our home water system. He was incredibly knowledgeable and informative and explained all of our different options clearly and confidently. Install was good and water restored. Goettl sent a text that technician was on the way at 4 and it took till after 6 to arrive. Your system needs updates as they obviously weren’t on the way. Very inconvenient to provide a text ur on the way then not be. When calling to inquire about eta, the call center was not helpful and said almost there. Had to call back 30 mins later and demand someone find out the time someone is coming. Install was fine but scheduling and call center not helpful.

They never gave up 160 degrees in the atticSo updateOur cooling system is hotter than expected by 5 degrees when they came out today we noticed there was a hole in the opening of the AC which causes the AC box to be extremely hot. So far they plan to fix the hole, we have pets its been 2 months since the AC has been installed and they are already recommended ac cleaning which was over 2k. I think that is a bit extreme and of course it Voids the warranty if its cleaned by anyone else ... So just a reminder to review and think carefully about your ac company our ac was 10k for a 14 c unit... It runs Praise God and for the system checked out. As for our house we will have to manage with air filters.
Our pipes were back-flowing into the kitchen sink, shower and toilet. I called Goettl on a sunday and they answered the phone right away. After explaining the situation, they contacted dispatch and got someone out that evening. I got a text to let me know that the technician was on his way. Darean was absolutely amazing. Our pipes were severely clogged. He explained what and why it happened, was super friendly and thorough, making sure the pipes were properly cleaned out. Our drains are working and we couldnt be happier. 10/10 recommend and will call again if needed

Andrew the service technician was very helpful and very friendly. He explained how he was going to unclog the water sewer plus he told me there was a solution to my problem and needed to get a product that he has to clean the pipes. I should have heeded the other negative reviews that spoke of the pressure they put on you to buy a new water heater or a/c or something to go along with the original reason they were called for, as well as for services not needed . But they have over a 1000 reviews with a fairly good rating so I overrode my good sense thinking those were isolated cases. We had a pinhole leak in the copper pipe to our water heater that we needed repaired. Upon setting up an appointment we explained that that was all we needed repaired and were not interested in any other services. We received a call the next day telling us that Douglas would be out at 9 am (he showed up at 9:30). He inspected the problem and proceeded to tell us that not only did we need the pipe repaired but the shut off valve needed replacing as well as our water heater. My husband told him no we do not need those things and just fix the pipe. Douglas argued with him and said if we weren’t willing to listen to him he was done and got in his truck. We immediately called another plumbing company who came out and had the pipe repaired in 30 minutes and charged us $100 (this plumber saw no reason to replace the shut off valve). Later that day I received an email from Goettl with an estimate to repair the pipe and replace the shut off valve in the amount of $815.94 & that did not include a new water heater! Heed my warning and don’t waste your time or money with this company.

Had Douglas Rivera , tech, come out to look at my tankless water heaters. This guy has no clue and no customer service skills. His version to diagnose my issue was to recommend just replacing the heaters. No testing just looking at it. One star is too many. Don’t hire this company. After I asked what other testing he got pissed and left after talking a big game to fight.
