I recently had a service call with Air Texas AC Company and, despite a bit of initial confusion about billing due to my prior company going out of business, I’m very pleased with my experience. The technician, Izeaeh, was extremely professional and courteous, making the entire process smooth and pleasant. When I spoke with Mark regarding the billing, he was understanding and helpful in trying to resolve the situation. The team’s professionalism has won me over as a new customer, and I look forward to working with Air Texas in the future! Highly recommend for their excellent service.

I contacted Harrison (owner) referred by my friend since I needed replacement of outside fan motor. Harrison sent his technician ,Izaeah to replace and install motor and check system.They did great on short notice call, since expecting cold free next week.Highly recommend.

Air Texas is the best! We have used them since 1999 when they were the 4th company to come to the house to fix the broken A/C and the ONLY company to diagnose and fix the problem. They helped the unit stay up and running for approximately 15 more years before having to install a new unit. They always do excellent work, are quick to respond, and really good, honest people. We love Harrison and his team!

The guys are outstanding! Purchased this unit from them 7 years ago using their in house financing. A year later when it had an issue they went about and beyond to fix it and make it right. Now all these years later when we have a small leak they are going to warranty replace the coils again. They do great work and really stand behind their work. Air Texas fixed my humidity issues! Harrison offered several solutions to address my humidity concerns but I ultimately decided to replace my old AC system with a new XV20 and like magic, within a matter of hours my humidity was under control and I was comfortable in my house again! I’m so happy with the new AC and the install was smooth. These guys really took their time to do it right which you just don’t see very often these days. Roger was especially great, he let me ask questions and explained what they were doing. I can’t recommend this company enough, thanks Air Texas!

These guys were great! Very friendly and willing to explain everything for me. They not only fixed a very weird problem that my AC was having (the heater was blowing when I turned it on Cool), but they also showed me some things that were causing other problems that I thought I just had to live with. Specifically there was a huge drainage issue that the AC was having and also parts of the ducting, plenum, and insulation were collapsing into themselves. This was because the system had been built with not nearly enough intake, like an Olympic sprinter trying to breath through a snorkel. They repaired everything and installed new ducting and a new intake so it wouldnt suck as hard. This instantly made the entire system MUCH quieter and also heat and cool much faster. My AC was broken, and instead of just settling for 100%, they went ahead and gave me 150%. And that was still a tiny fraction of the cost that others would want to charge for a full system replacement, which might not have even addressed the suction issues and collapsing ductwork, insulation, etc. I am very glad I brought them into this. Coincidently, they also happen to be the only ones in the area that are still answering their phones at 7pm when I get home from work and find that my A/C is broken. Even if they cant come out that night, just knowing that they have me scheduled for a fix the instant I have a problem is a huge psychological boost for me.

Called Mark ( owner ) around 10am and by 1100ish Tyler and Roger showed up. 1145 everything was fixed. I had a humming/buzzing sound from the fan. They inspected and replaced the capacitor and inspected again to make sure everything was working properly. They also inspected the blower unit. Both men were informative and never once tried to upsale any add-on services. Pricing was very reasonable. Definitely keeping their business card in my rolodex ( old people joke ). Highly recommend 👌

Found Air Texas on the web after calling countless other “big shot”companies that advertise 24/7 service that wouldn’t even answer their phones on Saturday. Harrison arrived on time and had everything fixed & on his way in a couple hours. “Everything” consisted of blown fuse in control panel, incorrect wiring by previous A/C installing contractor, and replaced bad thermostat. Always on time and reliable. Air Texas installed my AC over seven years ago. I have them come out each summer to make sure everything is working properly. They always explain the process and keep me informed if they find anything out of order. Since buying a new system I have never had an issue with the system and my electric bill are much lower.

Harrison was recommended to us by another tradesman and we are glad of that. He proved to be a thoughtful professional, excellent at diagnosing a problem and devising solutions. Aware that we were on a budget, he proposed and executed a long-term fix of our HVAC system that would require only minimal new parts, but more difficult work for him. We now have healthy dust-fre air. Not only did Air Texas do what they said they would do, but Harrison thoroughly explained exactly what they were doing and why. Always good to find an HVAC guy you can trust!

A friend of mine recommended Air Texas. I called and they were able to arrive the next day. Harrison and his co-worker were professional, knowledgeable and did a great job. I have an older AC system, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. They identified the problem very quickly and solved it by thoroughly cleaning the condensing unit. After having completed an extensive search with multiple HVAC vendors I chose Air Texas and am very glad I did so. I am completely satisfied with all aspects of their customer service, their professionalism, quality installation, and price. While genuinely impressed with each of the above, this is not the most compelling reason I highly recommend going with Air Texas. In short... they were candid, answered my exhaustive list of questions fully, and they earned my trust. When they came out to the home, they deepened that trust with their professionalism and I have a very good feeling about using Air Texas for my almost $20,000 investment into two 3.5 ton systems. I highly recommend using them; you can trust they will give you a very fair price while providing great service and high quality.

Great service. I called for service and was able to get service quickly. Harrison arrived on-time, & communicated his arrival. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable having taken over his Dad’s business and apparently raised in the business. I explained we were looking for an AC tune-up and assessment on our guest house. A previous guest had some AC background and had taken a few liberties with adding equipment and changing the duct work. He had also implied there could be mold in the unit. We took immediate action to call Air Texas and have things properly addressed as we have new guests and wanted everyone safe and happy.Harrison took an initial look at the attic unit with me and then began his workup using some state of the art probes and tools. He even quickly repaired a hole, that had shabbily taped up, with the proper AC product tape to ensure it was not impeding the function of that area.We then to the out door unit, he set up his equipment and we were ready to begin his testing process, a period of about 20 minutes with AC running and him monitoring. As the test ran he looked over the units, took the time to document the condition of the exterior and full interior of the units with pictures! He showed me the Pics he had taken, carefully explaining each part and the areas function, as well as its current condition. As the monitoring cycle had completed he also explained, in depth, the output data of monitoring software. The unit appeared to be running properly and optimally. It was clean, in some area new looking, in other areas it looked normal with some light and expected dust, but no mold!We also discussed things pertinent to AC’s and homes in general like water quality, reverse osmosis systems and water softeners, water quality testing. This guy is a wealth of information!He entire visit was about 2 hrs. He had done a thorough assessment, had wrapped it all up neatly and concisely with the data, pictures and recommendations. He provided an estimate for sealing the ducts as well, which we received quickly.Overall I would be hard pressed to recollect having a service technician of this caliber. We will be utilizing his services again going forward to keep the heat pumps in two homes in good shape.And here is the fun part, after all that you have read about this visit, the charge for this service visit was $115. Harrison with Air Texas has been taking care of my HVAC systems for close to 20 years. When I tell you that Air Texas is the best AC company in San Antonio. Very reasonable on price, very honest and very informative. All in all I wont use any other AC company and will always send anyone in need of AC work or repairs straight to Air Texas. I haven’t had central AC or heat in my house for four years!! I’ve called several companies to come out and look and they all told me my unit was totally shot, and would cost thousands for a new one. We were given a range of quotes which was very helpful because we had limited funds. After we chose which unit we wanted they installed the unit the same day and did a thorough clean-up. They estimated 4 hours and it took 4 3/4 hours. Just in time for the 100 degrees plus weather!

Fantastic company. Honest. Great prices. Repaired in 30 minutes. Signed up for maintenance service. They came and did my maintenance today. Just really nice guys. Saw the review someone left Mark. He is a little loud on the phone but he is hard of hearing older guy. But they are both always so nice and yes accommodating, sorry someone was so quick to leave a such a negative review over one phone call. They are such honest nice guys.

My bf and Is AC stopped working and got recommended Air Texas conditioning and heating by a close friend. Harrison, quickly found the issue, showed it to me, walked me through what was wrong, and how it needed to be fixed. He worked diligently, got the job done under an hour and got our AC up and running. Also, I liked the quick response we got, given the late time we called they were able to come within 30 minutes. Harrison showed up on Dec 23rd, same day I called and got my heater up and running during the winter storm. The house was down to 44 degrees with no heat. He is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely use again.

Was having to have the freon constantly recharged. This last time did not last even a month. Was told by other companies I needed to replace the whole AC system. Harrison showed up same day of calling for a third opinion. His diagnosis it can be repaired. The leak was on the outside unit. No other company pulled the side of the unit off or even used a leak detector. The price was fair the repair was done 2 days later, work schedule for me, the house is cooled back down and I didnt have to spend close to 6k to replace an entire AC.Update: Years later and a new home and still the first company I called for work on the house I bought. I have used these guys twice a year before the summer and winter to make sure my A/C and heat systems are ready. Currently have original units placed in 2007. This is not your usual review. Ive not yet used Harrison Blandfords company, but I will upon my next need. Why then a 5-Star rating? Because at, 77 years old, I struggled trying to remove ice-felled branches in my daughters yard. A neighbor informed me that Mr. Blandford was busy about the neighborhood with his truck and trailer picking up brush and hauling it to the subdivisions collection point. I drove around found him with a full load. He asked for the address saying Id be next. He arrived within minutes. His all volunteer crew, another gentleman and two boys doing church related community service, arrived in minutes. The team quickly chain sawed branches, cleared the back yard and loaded the trailer. I learned that I was his 10th customer but that there would be no charge. His was a free service offered to the community in the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors. He declined when I offered to buy them a beer in thanks, stating they still had hours to go helping other people that day. This is a man with values that prompt me to try his business out the next time I need my AC system checked out. This company is by far the best in Texas. Their service is by far the best Ive ever encountered. Last year, my house was warm as hell with an AC that would run Day and night. These polite gentlemen came to my house and cleaned and made repairs to my AC that literally cut my bill in half! In half! As far as Im concerned, no other AC company exists to me. They not only resolved the problems I had with my unit, they give me tips to maintain my AC to keep it running healthy.You guys are the best! Dont ever change a thing you are doing!

Let me tell you about the owner, Harrison. After this most recent freeze, he came out and put in the time and effort to help our community clean up. While there were many out to earn a quick buck and take advantage of those in need, he used his own truck, trailer and tools and drove house to house helping those in need cut broken limbs from the trees and haul off the brush piles free of charge. Without him, so many of us would be stuck with large bills for clean ups that alot of us were unprepared for. His dedication and thoroughness to making sure the job was done right speaks volumes. If he put that much effort in helping clean up a neighborhood of broken tree limbs, I can imagine the amount of effort he puts in to his business and making sure your AC runs efficiently and effectively.I haven’t used his business before but because of this, he has earned my business from here on out.

I highly recommend this company! Our AC went out in the middle if the night and we called them first thing in the morning. Harrison showed up within an hour and fixed our problem without price gouging us! We were worried that he would reccomend replacing our 15 year old unit but said it still had alot of life left in it. Every time I have had an A/C repair company come to house, the repairmen (sales reps) have launched into a full blown sales pitch for why I need a new A/C system or a very expensive repair. I fell for it twice. Ive had two systems installed in the past 7 years, and am still paying for the first one. Yes, I am paying for two A/C systems! Recently, a simple checkup had the salesman telling me my outside unit was making a funny noise and that I needed a $1,400 repair, but I really should get a whole new outside unit that would cost $3,500. I couldnt believe it! So I called a friend who put me in touch with Mark, the owner of Air Texas. Based on what that other company told me, Mark estimated a repair cost of only $300.00. What a huge difference! Within a couple of hours, Harrison arrived. He couldnt find anything wrong with my system. So Mark came himself to check. He couldnt find anything either, saying theres nothing even wrong with my unit. How rare that is. He didnt try to do a repair and charge me, nor did he try to sell me anything. If I ever have a problem, you can bet Ill be calling Mark at Air Texas. He came highly recommended. I recommend him, too, because of his honesty. I feel I can trust this company.

Harrison and his team are absolutely fantastic. They are Honest, reliable, and professional. After my AC unit quit working and repaired for the hundredth time, I decided it was time to replace it instead of dumping money into a dead horse. Prior to calling Air Texas, I had called a couple other large corporate companies and received astronomical quotes. I called Air Texas and they immediately came out to my home, did a thorough inspection/diagnostic of my HVAC unit, and told me what I needed (which was way less than what the other companies were telling me ). Harrison could tell I was desperate to get AC back in my home so he got my new unit ordered and installed in less than a week (and it was a big job!!). I would recommend this company to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

These guys are just AMAZING! Started using Air Texas back in 2016 when my AC went out. Called late in the afternoon and Harrison came that same day around 8pm to get our AC up and running again. Ever since then Air Texas is my go to AC company. Had an issue with my AC today and Harrison yet again came to our rescue! He is truly an amazing guy! I am an Air Texas client for life! Highly recommend calling Air Texas for your A/C needs. Took the time to show me exactly what the A/C issues were, fixed it and explained how I could avoid this issue in the future. Harrison also went a step further, and helped me fix my attic venting pipes due to the roofers work (carbon monoxide risk). Finally, he checked my freon levels before leaving. Professional, knowledgeable, and timely...outstanding service at a very reasonable price.

Repaired our AC the same day I called, explained everything really well, and ultimately fixed our problems. I’m happy to have a cool home again in the middle of a Texas summer. I especially appreciated that he wasn’t super pushy about doing all kinds of expensive things right off the bat and took their time to show me in detail what was wrong and what to plan for in the future.

Diagnosed my problem within minutes( broken fan motor/leaking coil) and got it up and running with a temporary fix for overnight since it was going to be about 32°. (He drove all the way to canyon lake and back to get it working) Came out with the replacement parts as soon as they were available. Price point was more then fair and Harrison answered any and all questions I had. Very knowledgeable about the entire system. Bonus was that it took my bill from about $300 per month down to $130ish. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Our HVAC system stopped working during the winter storm. Called this family owned business and they came out immediately. Harrison did a full inspection and then gave us options. We decided to replace our old unit with a TRANE system. Harrison gave us an install date that week! Everything went as planned during the install, all aspects of the unit and new thermostat were explained thoroughly. We love our new system and it heats and cools our house beautifully. Harrison checked in with us a few days later to make sure everything was ok and if we had any questions. I highly recommend this company to install, fix all issues regarding HVACs. Highly recommend!!! Owner is professional and personable. My husband and I called on a freezing Friday morning with unit problems. When we explained what the unit was doing he walked my husband through a unit test to diagnose and correct the problem instead of charging us a service call and having us without heat until his technician could arrive. I dont know how these people have such high rating out of all the ac companies out there they seemed to want to do do the least and prices off the hip. I would not ever use again. Did as little was possible.. I felt prices were high as well. I can understand if yours breaks and you need someone asap how it would be a God send. But if your unit is running fine and you just need something minor go somewhere else.

Air Texas A/C & Heating was great. They were able to diagnose the issue that was going on with my unit (both indoor and thermostat) and resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I purchased and installed a Nest Thermostat a few weeks prior and there was a software/firmware issue that made the unit flip to the heat pump instead of A/C after a couple of weeks of using it. Harrison and Tyler were able to diagnose and test the issue with the Nest before suggesting putting in a different thermostat.They were very professional and honest and would definitely suggest/recommend to friends and family that have issues with their HVAC.Thanks guys!

Mark came out within an hour on a Saturday night and had everything fixed and working normally shortly after! He also provided me with great information about my unit and showed me some things I didnt know about. Very fast service. Extremely well priced. Super nice guys! I haven’t used Air Texas yet but I can tell you that they are the KINDEST and super helpful! My daughter and I were trying to fit food in my smaller SUV and it was too big to fit. Two men walked over (not creepy) and asked if we needed help and offered to follow me to the house to drop off the wood so I wouldn’t have to get it cut. We do t live far from Home Depot and they followed us and dropped it off and even brought in the trash can from the curb. If their quality of work is as good as their overall kindness then highly recommend them. I definitely will use them in the future for ac and heating needs.

Awesome experience, these guys have been the most straightforward I have had out to my house. Everyone else would tell me oh you just need a new system and not actually fix the problem. I was welcomed home in the after noon with a hot house and a buzzing air conditioning unit. I am disabled and not able to take the heat like I used to. I called Air Texas and they came out in 40 minutes, fixed my unit and only what I really needed. Harrison came out was polite, thorough, explained everything and was very reasonable. I dont like to have to call a tech to my house for anything. Harrison made me feel comfortable and did a great job. Air Texas is now my only air conditioning company for me. I was sweating I called my insurance only to be told that I needed a new disconnect & only an electrician can do that 😡Back at square one....I input a request on my Nextdoor app & got a referral for Mark @Air Texas Air Conditioning....it was late & last minute & he & Brian were able to come out in an hour! Great experience. I called around 2 in the afternoon and they were able to come out the next morning and check my account, witch they found a freon leak within 20-30 min. I was spoiled with having a former AC repair man living next door to me. Then he moved. I had never had to call an AC guy before. Another company put in the AC but every time I called them they tried to sales me crap. They just did not seem to car. I called Air Texas because of their reviews and they did not disappoint. I called them and got someone on the phone straight away. They sent a technician over that afternoon. I met him on my lunch break. He was there exactly when they said he would be. No between 1 & 5. He will meet you are 2 and he was there at 1:50. He went straight to work. Explained what he was doing and why. Showed me what every reading was, and meant. I ran out of time and had to return to work before I could approve the work that needed to be done.This afforded me the chance to verify the pricing and diagnosis with my former neighbor. He agreed entirely with their pricing and diagnosis. I called them up and told them I approved the work and the price. They went straight over to the house, while I was still at work and fixed it. So it was up and running before my wife and kids got home. They did not even charge me to come back. They did a great job. I highly recommend them.

Great customer service and great company! Called last night after hours because my A/C stopped working; during the call I explained the problem, a 3A fuse that kept blowing. He walked me through what could be wrong and a few things to check. I loved that he tried to fix the problem over the phone and not trying to milk money out of me like some A/C guys will do. I still couldnt diagnose the problem so promptly he scheduled an appointment for today. He arrived at the time he said hed be here and was out the door in less than 30 minutes. They were very courteous the whole time, they shook my hand before and after the work, they wiped their shoes at the door and they kept me informed on what was going on. Also, they gave me a few tips on how to keep my A/C running in tip top shape. Again, an amazing company and will be using them again for all my A/C and heating needs. Amazing service. Not only were they available for a same day appointment, they arrived 20 minutes after I called. I explained the issue and they identified the problem in about 5 minutes (bad capacitor). After replacing the capacitor, they ran a new thermostat wire that my dog had begun to chew through and explained how important it is to replace the filter every month. Both of these things were the cause of the problem. Extremely personable, knowledgeable, and I highly recommend.

My AC wasnt cooling properly. The AC guy Ive used for many years is no longer available (Hospitalized, incarcerated, retired to Puerto Rico or dead). I was weary of using anyone else. They have you right where they want you, your AC is out and you need relief fast. I called Air Texas and scheduled an appointment, I found their info on the web when I searched for repairs for Goodman products. Harrison just left my home after completing the necessary work. Turns out the issue I was having was relatively minor. He could have easily taken advantage of my situation as most people know very little about HVAC systems. My AC is blasting cold air like it did when it was brand new. The price was fair for the work done. Harrison was personable and very knowledgeable, even showed me what to do, how to do it and when to do it to keep my AC running right. Hot weather is right around the corner and Im so glad I called these people. I found my new AC guy. I have had several different companies come out to fix various issues- each company that has come out has left something else broken, while merely jury-rigging whatever was broken that required the service call originally - except Air Texas !They showed up on time (15 minutes early) for their scheduled appointment, and in no time had a working diagnosis, as well a plan to fix it! Yes the unit is older and replacement is imminent, but it is good to know that I can call someone who is competent with all makes and models, not just the current models. I would confidently recommend them to everyone I know, and those I dont as well.

Was without heat in really bad conditions during this winter storm. There wasn’t much of a chance to have anyone come out to service my heat system but these guys took the time out of their to walk me through different scenarios of what the problem could be. I don’t know much about AC and heat and they made the process over the phone dummy proof. I can’t thank them enough because we have very small children with freezing temps outside for multiple days. Air Texas came highly recommended and did not disappoint!! These gentlemen installed a new unit and basically had to make it fit in an existing space! It went down without a hitch, and they couldnt be more professional and pleasant about it! They called me about maintenance on the new unit and checking on my old unit! Follow up after the sale is very important to me and cutting my electric bill in half also! My highest utility bill before the new unit was $589 in Dec of 2014! This past 2015, I never had a bill over $300!!I highly recommend you call these gentlemen if you are needing maintenance or replacement

My A/C wasnt doing the trick, so I calied and talked to Harrison. He came out right away even though it was late. He was meticulous in inspecting my system. He didnt try to sell me a new a/c or charge for things I didnt need. He filled my system with freon and cleaned the compressor. When he left he ensured the work area was neat and he was careful not to track dirt inside. Everything was explained to me in plain English and he was extremely professional. Air Texas is probably the most professional, honest, affordable HVAC company in San Antonio. They talked to me and my grandmother about the issue discovered and helped us understand what went wrong. Like most people would do. I did a price comparison with other companies. That was short lived. Air Texas just excels all around the board. I called the night before to get my ac checked out and spoke to Mark, I told him I wanted to get my ac checked out because it wasnt getting cold, and it may need freon. He told me freon is running at $122.00 a pound, so he scheduled me for the next day. His son is the one who shows up with another guy, I let him in and they go up stairs to check my unit, then they go outside to check the unit outside and also to unclog a drain, which his son asked me would I like him to unclog it and I said yes, he says ok that would be 20 bucks, I said ok. Then he goes to my unit and looks at it and observe how it is running. So for about the first 15 min he really wasnt doing anything but looking at the unit as we were conversing. Then he says he will add a little bit of freon, this one time since its his first time here, not once did he mention how much freon was a little bit or mention how much that little bit was going to cost. So when he was done which I really didnt see or did he show me how much that little bit of freon was, we go inside and Im waiting for him to tell me how much I owe him, he says hes waiting for his partner to let him know how much the weight of the freon is, so after waiting for about 10 min he says he will be back he went outside to ask his partner how much was the weight of the little bit of freon that he supposedly put in. He cones in and says it was 3 pounds worth of freon at $122.00 a pound so he says my bill is $350.00 total. So I proceed to write him a check and at the same time I tell him, that he never once asked me if I was comfortable with him adding all that freon to my unit, or he never gave me an estimate or basically he just took it upon himself to do what he did without even asking me if its ok or ask me a bill for almost 400 dollars is affordable for me to pay out. My thing that Im upset about is he did not ask me nor give me an estimate just took it upon himself to do what he did. How do I know he really put in 3 pounds of freon? I did not see any proof and he did not show me a scale that supposedly they weigh it on. All I have to say is an estimate should have been given before he proceeded to touch anything. Be careful with these guys and before they perform any work for you ask for an estimate because if you dont you will get hit with whatever amount he wants to throw at you. No I will never use them again. Lesson learned.

I asked if yall service the Boerne area and the guy yelled at me and said No! We arent going that far!. Your website says Bexar county and surrounding areas does it not? We are 25 minutes away. Youre freaking company name is AIR TEXAS! Maybe you should change the info on your website or tell your guy there to calm down a bit.
