A&I Tire and Auto

I returned a U-haul truck to this location. The gentlemen who assisted me were incredibly polite and friendly. Very easy to interact with and made the transaction seamless. Conversation flowed easily and they gave me coupons for future use. I left feeling comfortable with the U-haul transaction and with bringing my car in for future services. Taking care of 2 birds with 1 stone so to speak. Id recommend them based on the customer service interaction and good vibes I got. Ill have to see if this high level continues with their auto work as well.

Three things matter to me when going to a shop:- Quality (Job’s done right)- Cost (Cost is reasonable)- Experience (Treat you as a person)I would rate this shop nothing short of 5 stars in all three categories and that is the reason I’ve continued going to them over the past six years. They genuinely care about fixing your problems, don’t take shortcuts, and don’t tack on unnecessary charges. Highly recommend!!!

Josh, Mark and Daniel were awesome. They fixed our camper van quickly and at a low cost. We are so relieved that we found honest and knowledgable mechanics. We havent been so lucky in the past with other shops...thanks again guys!!

I can not say better things about A&I. I came here on Friday to get my A/C diagnosed and repaired and the staff were so helpful. Sam outlined expectations I should have for my A/C repair and walked me through the repair step by step. I received updates throughout the weekend as the repairs were completed. The quality of their work was excellent and turn around time was outstanding. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle back to this location and will recommend friends and family to do the same!

Went are in out of town, and stopped in for a check engine light on, they took 6 hours to “fix” then valve cover. I left, drive 40 minutes south and the truck starts to smoke.. we pop the hood and see it’s leaking, we call them the next day since it is now after hours and they said they probably over tightened it squeezing the gasket we can bring it back. We asked them to call in the part to an autozone near us and they “couldn’t” but we’d have to pay a tow truck to get it back so we end up going to fit it ourselves. They charged us almost $400 there, then had to get another $231.62 worth of parts from oreillys because we needed a gasket, coolant hose because they broke that in the process apparently AND the gasket wasn’t the issue one of the valves wasn’t even in the hole when we got to it! That was the tricky part to get to and get out and put in.Beyond livid.Update 12/31/24Attached receipt with suggested work none of which had to do with the issue at hand.Took it to a shop once we got it back home and the SAME problem was fixed, and instead of “replacing” just one valve they did them all, and a new gasket because it was rolled/pinched. Glad we didn’t do anything else since the main issue was not even fixed properly.

It took more than one full hour for a simple flat tire! And the cost to fix said flat tire was 33 dollars. Never going back for any services here

Showed up at this location saw front desk guy on the store phone, he greeted me. I think he was being yelled at by a customer through the phone. Didnt matter he kept his composure and said hellbe right with me. After he got off that call he introduced himself and said his name was Jesse. He assisted to look at my wiper blades outside parking lot. He was very calm and knowledgeable about safety inspections, Jesse made some recommendations and gave me advice on how inspections are done. I wanna thank Jesse for being prompt and respectful.

When you find an honest, knowledgeable, affordable auto mechanic... You stay with them!You can also rent U Hall from them with great ease too.

It took me a while to write this review because I wanted to see the quality of work done on my vehicle and I have to say they did an outstanding job. I initially went in to fix an actuator for my AC but also had a slight shaking with my engine. Marc was extremely helpful and explained what may be happening to my vehicle and what to expect. JD was able to diagnose and fix the issue and I can say that I am very satisfied with the results. Marc also kept me up to date with what it may cost and how long it would take to fix these issues. All in all great company and great service thank you!

Finally found a place I could trust to work on my vehicles in SA yall!! An 05 Chrysler and an 06 Cadillac. New shocks, struts, gaskets, belts, hoses, tranflush, radiator flush, brakes, alignments, AC charge and Marc made sure I was well informed with estimates and progress of work. Excellent job by the front desk and the mechanics too! They have a few locations as well. Privately owned, so you know they will try to satisfy for repeat bizz and good reviews. Thanks for taking care of my old cars and making them safe to drive A&I 🙏

Mark and his team are amazing. They are always fair and professional/pleasant. I’ve had to get different kinds of work done and have had frustrating experiences with stuff going on with my car and yet I always leave feeling less stressed thanks to these guys. They are the best!

While driving on 1604 I noticed my tire was losing air quickly. I called many tire places within the vicinity I was in and A&I was THE ONLY one I called that didn’t have a long wait and would be able to help me. Once I got there my tire was flat. Even though they were busy they were still able to take a look and let me know the problem. My tire could not be saved however they put on my donut, explained the safety parameters of driving with it, ordered my new tire and let me know when it would be in. The very next day they got my new tire on within 15 minutes. Sam and the repairmen were thorough and quick. I am so so appreciate of their service. They all were also very kind and I feel trustworthy. Overall, an excellent experience during a time when everyone is frustrated. No one ever has time for car problems or a flat! Thanks Sam and team!!

2002 Chevrolet Silverado HD truck would not start on a Saturday morning and was stuck in driveway. Went to A&I Tire and Auto, who has done work on my truck for a few years. Sam arranged for a tow, which arrived in less than two hours, very professional. Was kept informed of status throughout process. Turned out to be a bad fuel pump. Was notified of problem on following Monday after troubleshooting and given price to fix. Also was given an estimated time frame in which repair would be complete. Sam kept me informed at each step of the way and was very professional: courteous, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. Repair was completed in a timely manner at a reasonable price in accordance with the estimate provided. Im very happy all the way around about the service I received and will continue to use this shop for all my truck maintenance needs. With me, these folks have been everything I could ask for in an auto repair shop. Keep up the great work, Sam, and thanks to all of you!

These guys are so helpful and friendly! My friend has a blow and go, which is constantly giving her trouble. The team here is always so professional whenever she takes it in to be calibrated or replaced, etc. In the week I was visiting, she had to go here twice because of the faulty device. Both times I was with her and we both left with a smile birth times 😃 And thats after walking in completely stressed and frustrated because of the faulty device. Thanks guys!! Highly recommend!

I order tires on the Goodyear corporate website and the website allowed me to make a 3 pm appointment even though they are only open until 2 pm. Marc did his best to work my car in. They were very professional and extremely friendly. While I was waiting, I watched them interact in a professional and friendly manner with everyone who walked through the door. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to bring my car back. They have truly earned my business.

My experience with A&I, specifically Marc, has been nothing short outstanding. I think we’ve all experienced frustrations when it comes to having your vehicle worked on- whether it’s false promises, unexpected costs, bad customer service, etc. You will experience NONE of this with A&I. Just an honest shop, with honest employees who care about you and your vehicle. Cannot recommend this shop enough and will continue taking all my vehicles here!

I have been taking my vehicles here for 10 years (Nissan, Audi, Jeep and Ford) and have always been impressed with the work on the vehicles and the service. When the diagnostics are performed they provide me a thorough report of what needs to be done, what should be done and what can wait. The communication is great and I will continue to trust A&I with any of my vehicles.

Great experience in getting my AC fixed. I was kept in the loop on what was going on and what needed to be replaced consistently. Sam was excellent to work with and very accommodating to my situation. Overall, fantastic place to choose.

Friendly staff. Famiky owed business, I live how they explain everything and look at ur car then tell u an estimate and dont do any work without asking ur ok 1st.

Have taken my vehicles in for tire service and was pleased with Mark at the front desk. He was straightforward, nice, and honest. As somebody that doesn’t know much about vehicles, I reccomend their service because they won’t take advantage of you.

Long story shortUnprofessional and predatory practices.When in for service and inspection at 2pm. They it would be ready around 330pm , no worries when for a walk. Came back to Marc saying he was calling me or was just about to. No missed calls. They found 670 worth of work to be done (fine), and I didnt have time and asked if I could get the truck back. Their were not very friendly after that. The 45 dollar service turns into 88, and then the boss says he has brake pads and wouldnt take more than 40 minutes and quoted 140 , shocker turns out to be 170 after the discount plus a waiting til closing. The fella who gave the truck back said sorry for the wait. We had to order the part ! I would not have done that if i had known. They lied right to my face. They proceeded to let me wait until closing to get the truck back, I was not happy but didnt say anything. Then Marc decided to make light of the situation after hours waiting. I couldnt believe what came out of his mouth. Very unprofessional. They do not respect people and their time! They are looking to make a buck and dont care for service. Honestly, go anywhere else! I would pay more just to avoid this place.

Spoke with Sam. Let him know that after two oil changes and tire rotations my Yukon started to have a shake to it when reaching 65mph or higher. I asked for an alignment on all 4 wheels, he said they would look at it and call me before doing any work. Sam called and let me know that 1 rim was bent, that it made no sense to do a 4 wheel alignment, they did the front wheel alignment, rotated the bent rim to the back and minimized the shaking significantly. They found the issue that 2 other tire shops did not. And he only did work that would benefit me. An honest shop is rare these days. Thank you Sam and your team Sam! I highly recommend this shop.

I brought my car in yesterday to repair a slow leak in my tire. They said they patched it. Paid $27.00. Woke up this morning to a completely flat tire.

I have been coming to this Goodyear location on Dezavala for several years. They never disappoint, always provide excellent service. Its hard to find trust worthy places now a days. It all comes down to management, owner and staff are courteous, friendly and professional. A full service place that provides what your auto needs at the time and they go over what it may need in the coming months. Very dependable. When brakes were repaired they noticed that my two front door interior lock handles were broken, I dont have the funds to repair. I get a phone call during the week from John Hernandez, the owner, to bring my car in Saturday, I did. They replaced the handles, new at no charge. Who does that !! He didnt want me driving the vehicle like that, concerned for my safety. What a blessing. Thank you so so much !!

Bought a new car and took it here to get a full inspection. They found several mechanical problems and Sam explained everything and worked to get all my repairs covered under warranty and get me back on the road as quick as possible. Excellent customer sevice! Thanks!

The whole team was friendly and knowledgeable, but Josh really went out of his way to ensure that we were aware of a small issue with our rear differential…which thankfully they do service. We were taken care of by the friendly staff. We were there visiting from Houston and our AC went out. We wanted to head home but we did not want to head out with no AC in our vehicle. The staff and the owner were so helpful and tried their best to help us out as much as possible. The part was not available at the moment but they did find the issue and were so willing to give us options on what could be done. It was nice to be able to find a place we can go to when we are in town and know we are being taken care of. The crew is amazing!!!!

Excellent service! I hit a SAWS pothole on Dezavala and called A&I Tire to help me with my flat tire. The owner and her son actually drove to where I was stuck to try adding air in my flat to see if I could drive to their shop for tire replacement. Unfortunately my tire was too destroyed but they recommended a great towing company who came quickly and was reasonably priced. They ordered a new tire for me right away and they even called the city of SA on my behalf to report the damage from the pothole. And, when they were finished later that day, the owners son came to pick me up! What great service. I would 100% recommend this business!

I took my vehicle to this service station and immediately was helped by John. I told him of my concerns about the warranty company; and he alleviated my doubts by sharing with me that he was familiar with their claims process. I told him about everything I knew was wrong with the car and he immediately started to obtain the information. He cared and did not act arrogant or condescending. His colleague, Robert also kept me posted throughout the inspection of the vehicle. They did not try and take advantage of me nor did they try and scare me.Even after knowing my budgetary limits (what the warranty would not cover) they went the extra mile and cut the rear rotors because they were concerned about my safety. They truly understand their profession but in addition... the dynamics of customer loyalty and value perceptions. Both men, were honest, humbled, and personable. I will be taking my used car there for any and all future maintenance issues despite living out of town. And I highly recommend to others. These men are honest, this service station is clean and friendly, and their technical proficiency is the highest.

By far one of the friendliest establishments I’ve ever been to. As a woman it’s hard to find trustworthy places that won’t rip you off or take advantage. Always affordable And seems like a family oriented environment . This is the only place I come to for any kind of car maintenance. 10 starts if I could give one !

I will recommend this auto repairs shop to anyone that needs minor and major repairs. They have great customer service and they know their stuff. We took our truck that we bought 15 years ago. It needed help to be revived and they made the repairs it needed. It runs great!! The cost was very reasonable for all the work our truck needed and they warantied all the repairs. I’ve taken my car there also and they took great care of me. I will never take my vehicles to the dealerships for anything anymore. I needed an oil change, but my regular shop is closed on Saturdays. When I arrived here, Jose greeted me right away, answered my questions, and let me know what to expect for my service. They were quick and did a great job. I wasnt surprised by the additional services they recommended, since I knew my vehicle needed them. They didnt pressure me to do the services, but Jose invited me to have the work done there and give them a chance to earn more of my business.I stopped in because I wanted the BG products in my car, and Im happy I did. They treated me right! Ill definitely reopen for oil changes, and maybe for other services, too.

Awesome Customer Service! I needed help for my daughter who lives an hour and a half away from me, did some research on whos the closest to her and decided on A&I. I called and explained my concerns to one of the owners and she was wonderful. Asked me for my daughters name & said shed be on the lookout for her. When my daughter arrived at A&I true to her word my daughter was taken care and we now dont have to worry about my daughter & her tires or vehicle issues. We are definitely a customer for life. I towed my car here last minute for a flat tire and Josh was phenomenal at helping me with what I needed. The entire crew was friendly and knowledgeable and they were straight forward with me about the quality of my tires and how I needed to fix them. Came here due to no openings at the Toyota dealership. I was hearing screeching from my driver side and figured it was the brakes. I knew I had a trip the following day so I needed to get this rectified and FAST!!! They quickly assessed my vehicle and confirmed my worry. My vehicle was fixed within hours, they were super friendly and I didn’t feel taken advantage of. Told all my co-workers about them and hope they pay this place a visit. Hard to find honest shops but this was definitely one. Thank you so much!!!

Best service and tire shop in the city! I am a local business owner and I will only take my personal and work vehicles to John. Very honest and straightforward. Before I started using them exclusively, I had taken my wifes car to another nearby shop and thought the fast quote that was given to me was high, so I brought it here and John promptly explained exactly what was happening and where the symptoms were coming from and did the job for about 20% less than the other quote. Great place, good people.

Awesome service! Had my tires replaced/ rotated and the oil changed. Prices are reasonable and I didnt have to wait long. The workers are knowledgable and friendly. Environment was clean, had positive vibes and good coffee that was a plus. I finally found a place that I can trust my vehicle to. I highly recommend. Great job!

Looking for trustworthy auto shop- seem to have found it here. Left dealer with $4000 recommendation for service in 2008 model. Met owner and shop manager here and explained I wanted a safe vehicle but would trade it if repairs costly. $200 and a brake job have me running quiet and safe. Left feeling I was done right.After 2 years and services for control arms, cv axles, still consider this shop as reliable, honest, and quality work, and most importantly a safe driving older vehicle.

Very Good mechanics. Jose was very professional and explained everything in detail before and after the service. Ken is very friendly and attentive. They will both put you at ease about the work they have to do and will let you know ahead of time what your costs will be but dont be surprised if the end quote after the service is three times the amount quoted. Once I got over the shock of the final bill I was fine with it but wont be going back.

BEWARE! This shop doesn’t know what they’re doing and will charge you for fixing nothing! I took my truck into this shop for an unknown engine problem. They diagnosed the wiring harness was messed up. There for they re-wired the harness. It didn’t fix anything. The truck was still not running correctly. They were trying to get me to pay over $1500 for the wiring harness that DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. They charged me for storage fees and a Lien they put on my truck because I was refusing to pay the $1500 for doing nothing to my truck. They robbed me for $1800 and didn’t fix anything. Don’t risk doing business with these guys…..go somewhere else!!

I have been taking my car with them for the past couple of years and I have nothing but great things to say. They have always completed my services in a timely manner and have communicated effectively.

Kens tire and auto is the best repair shop I have used in the 50 years I have owned an automobile. Made an appointment for 8 am for brake light switch transmission service and A/C service. Was back on the road by 9:30. The entire family owned operation is professional and very friendly. The best part of the experience was the reasonable price for all the services. I highly recommend this business if you need high quality , reasonably priced auto care. John and Robert go out of their way to provide fast and reliable service. I will be using them for all my future repairs and preventive maintenance to all my vehicles.

I would recommend this Goodyear location. I spoke to Robert who gave me quotes. I took my car in for a tune-up and oil change. The tune-up was done at this location a year ago. Robert told me that the car shouldnt need a tune-up if it was done a year ago. He asked how was my car driving. I told him the that car was driving rough and I thought it needed a tune-up. Once he took it for a test drive and the tech had a chance to check it out. It ended up being the motor mounts. My bill was double what I expected but the work was awesome!! My Focus 2009 drives like a Lincoln!!! Thanks guys, job well done!!!! Happy customer! :)

Taken my vehicle here multiple times over the years and I’ve always had extremely good customer service. They work hard to provide a quick turn around and get me back on the road. Fast, friendly and honest.

This is the GOODYEAR tire shop. It’s a family run shop that was bought out recently. I came in wanting to get a quote on some tires, John quickly gave me low/mid/high end options and showed me what the tread looks like. A quick search online showed that his tire prices were equal (actually a dollar less) to what I could get ordering directly from discount tire. I needed some other stuff taken care off, or at least looked at. They checked everything. And instead of pushing me to do everything possible, he explained to me what needs to me done ASAP, and what can wait. I got the tires done, an alignment, and a transmission flush. My car drives soooooooo nice, gears change effortlessly and I can’t even tell when it switches from one to another. The alignment and the new rubber is just what my car needed - what a HUGE difference some nice tires and an alignment can do for a car! Anyways, I’m def a lifetime customer here now, based on my experience - I recommend y’all do the same.

I have sent my daughter that is in college to this shop several times with some major issues and John, Jose and there crew have always explained everything to her in simplicity and never tried to do more than what was actually needed. They have always worked with her in a timely manner and prices were good also. These guys have my respect and my business. I’m thankful I found an honest shop.

Highly impressed with the service that I was given at this location. From the first call and speaking with Jose he was very attentive as I explained my situation. He stated that they could look at it and let me know what might be. When I dropped it off, I explained what the car was doing and immediately they had idea of what the problem could be.Thank you to Jonathan that located the problem and fixed my car back to normal. My wife went to this establishment and was charged $10.50 for a state inspection fee. When she mentioned that she has never paid more than $7, she was told the additional $3.50 was a service fee. Completely dishonest and deceptive! The $7 is what the inspection station is allowed to charge according to DPS. Any additional fee is unauthorized. We will not be going back to this place and I would advise that even though there are positive reviews about this place, how many of those people know what the actual pricing should be? Go down the street to Chad Miller or even across the street to the lube place. In a time when we wanted to support a locally owned small business, we find that they are dishonest. Very nice in the current climate!

Recently got my car serviced here after my check engine light came on. Been a little over a month and my car is running better than ever. They really worked with me on the pricing as well. The time of completion was faster than I had expected. Great customer service. I recommend this place!

On a packed Friday evening about 10 minutes before closing time I rolled up w a nail in my tire. The fellas there took it off and did their best to fix it but bc of the placement of nail my tire was trash. They offered me a used tire at a great price. Jose showed phenomenal customer service and all the fellas had such a great attitude even though they worked past closing time - be of me. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!

Im blown away by the service I received here today. Most place that I have taken my car to wouldnt answer any questions or even let me know what other services my car needed but the workers and owner were beyond helpful they answered all questions I had regarding the services my car needed along with great prices. The environment was very upbeat, clean and will most definitely be going back for all future service. I highly recommend this place. Thank you workers and management.

Had a tough to diagnose issue and John and his technicians did a great job to troubleshoot my problem. They actually stayed open late to receive my vehicle as it had to be towed. Exceptional mechanical work, and service that you just dont see anymore.Highly recommended!

I was in a bind and received the best service at Ken’s! I was in San Antonio for work and had a 5 1/2 hour drive to make to get back home. Unfortunately, one of my tires wouldn’t hold air. They could’ve pushed an expensive, brand new tire on me, but they didn’t. Instead, they listed to the fact that I had road hazard coverage on the bad tire back at home and sold me a high quality, used tire for less money. I dropped in with no notice and was back on the road within an hour. Everyone was polite and very friendly. I have a new car care place for emergencies when I’m in San Antonio!

Attention please , don’t go to this place. I been there for my car inspection ,the guy said your car Failed, because of car shield Wipers it’s time to change them. I’m got surprised because the car is new, but I agreed so, after 5 minutes he came back and said your car passed and you good to go, When I got the car keys, I saw the car wiper still not changed. I got back to him and asked him, did you change the car shield wiper? He freaked out and asked his coworker, did you change it? so he’s back with embarrassment and change it. It’s really disappointing & this is fraud after waiting that long & l thought I would share my experience with you guys.

My experience at the Kens Auto shop was definitely how I would imagine an ideal mechanic shop composed of a fair honest and hard-working team with the best interest in mind for taking care of their customers. I had a coolant leak which led to my vehicle overheating and smoking. I was discouraged about attending the last three auto shops near campus, since one charged me an astronomical balance to repair coolant damages ( a charge of over $4,000s), another who didnt work on LandRovers, and the last one who couldnt detect the issue. Mr. Jose (manager) assisted me and made very clear the issue with my vehicle and what must be done immediately to resolve the issue. He also brought to my attention other problems that must be addressed to avoid future damages to my vehicle as well. With the student discount (15%) and waiver fee of the diagnostic (if you decide to allow them to repair the damages) the balance was reduced to less that $900s, which I believe was reasonable considering the damage. I appreciate this shop and look forward to future repairs (if needed) by this company. Moreso, I recommend this shop in particular to anyone whos looking for a mechanic that will do their best to ensure that your experience is the best...

Walmart drained my transmission fluid instead of giving me an oil change. They reffered me to this place to get it checked out for free and they said my clutch was slipping in my automatic... there was a leak in my transmission... and the transmission was sealed. Estimated $3,000 to fix. Took it to jordan motorcars just down the road and they put transmission fluid in it and it runs fine, there is no leak and the transmission is not sealed.... Just another money hungry business that is not looking out for the customer. From my experience, i saved $3,000 by not going here, so dont believe everything that they say.EDIT: you responded to a review I posted 6 years ago, hilarious that you came back to answer that rudely like you would even recall. Great services 😆

The man of front desk was nice, but the service not good at all, Ieft my car, they told me the price of the parts but they didnt include the service price, I went walking to a place near there, when I went back to them they told me that I needed another part but the man from the front desk told me that they will not charge for the part and the service because the mechanic broke the part,ok, then I left to another place I went back to this place and I had like 4 bags and they change their mind, another man was at the front desk and told me that he will charge me for the part and the half price of the part, I told him was part broken not the whole part. Because I put it back and it was working right, but they dont care, they charge anyways. You all can take your cars there, but becarefull with whatever they tell you, and before you leave ask to they write it down.

I will definitely recommend this location! Jose was very courteous and explained in detail the maintenance my vehicle needed. He did not push any unnecessary parts and the prices he qouted were very reasonable! Lobby was also very clean and all staff members were courteous.

My vehicle was overheating and I took it to this shop to get a diagnostic on what the issue is. The guys here made me feel very welcomed, they explained what was wrong with my vehicle and helped me repair it. I will continue to come to this shop because they made me feel like they genuinely cared about my issue and made sure there were no more problems with my vehicle. I recommend them to anyone reading this!!

I’m so grateful for Ken’s shop. I showed up right at closing on my way home from work and my car was acting up pretty badly, enough to where it was shaking down the highway and had me scared as to whether or not I would even make it home. Robert was a complete hero and stayed an extra 30 minutes after they closed to help run a diagnostic on my car and help me with my options. I came back the next morning to get my car fixed and they went above and beyond to help get it done fast. I work out toward Blanco but I live close to downtown San Antonio, so I rely on my car so much. Needless to say I’m so grateful for all of the help I got and for the stellar service. To all Ladies....DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE they will not help you. They charged me a ridiculous amount and when I got my car towed to another shop ,they still charged me $117.00 dollars for looking at my car.GOD Bless YOUR BUSINESS for the extra damages....I decree and declare IN JESUS NAME he is watching you all how you do business with the chosen.

Great people , everytime I go in I tell them exactly when I need to be repaired. They assure me they will check over the issue and address it properly. If I do not know what is wrong they will diagnose it for me. I trust their word 100%. They are very skilled and very fast with their work. All jobs only take around a couple of hours , never had to leave my vehicle overnight. Great service and I will continue going back to them

I took my car here and it had a recall so they took it to the dealership themselves at no cost. my husband took his truck here and they fixed it at a very good price and it runs like new now. such good service and nice people. my daughter even got a discount on her car for being a UTSA student

Happy to have found an honest auto shop in San Antonio! My daughter is a student at UTSA and she called me to say shed picked up a nail in her tire. I sent her to Firestone to enquire about getting it repaired but they told her its too close to the sidewall but would give us a discount on a new tire. My daughter told me it was closer to the center than the side so I checked around and spoke with John Hernandez @ Kens Tire and Auto. I explained the situation and he said to have her bring it in. We talked about having daughters in college and he made me feel he would take care of my daughter in an ethical way. She took it in and they found there was no issue with patching it and they did so. John and the rest of the crew at Kens will get all of my automotive business needed by my daughters vehicle, without hesitation.

BEWARE!!I am an older lady that was taken advantage of by these guys. I was desperate because my SEVERELY injured mother was returning to SA airport and need to be escorted (via wheel chair) from the gate to ambulance. The shop GOUGED me for diagnosis, labor and parts. As I said I was desperate and would have agreed to anything. Please think twice before doing business with these PARASITES.

I went in January as I was driving by San Antonio and had car problems and they did not fix my car. Three hours later that I was driving at night as I stop at the gas station my car didnt turned on and before taking it here I never had this problem. I paid a lot of money and they did not fix my car. Horrible service as they knew I was driving at night and the car was not safe to drive.

They always do the best work. Always very happy that we have a great place to take our cars to.. Trust is very important and I trust them 100%.

Do NOT trust them with your tire or wheels!!Unless you enjoy throwing money away. A simple wheel exchange turned into a nightmare. The level of incompetence is immeasurable. I wish I could rate 0 stars. They dont deserve the 1.

Great, family-owned repair shop who will keep you in the loop and won’t try to take advantage of their customers. Our older van broke down on a road trip and they made sure they had parts, kept us informed and went out of their way to get us back on the road ASAP!

Horrible customer service and sold me a used tire that popped 1 mile down the road. Didnt tell me I had to pay cash first and made me walk to gas station to get cash. Then said it was my fault the tire popped and was very rude
