We had a gas leak emergency and CPS shut off our gas and advised us we need to find a plumber. (One day before a cold front blew in!) We contacted countless plumbers and received an array of quotes. We settled on Quarter Moon Plumbing. Without knowing the extent of the job, they gave us a quote that we agreed upon. They showed up on time and finished the job in a very timely manner. To our delight, the final bill was LESS than the initial quote. They did a great job and we will definitely use their services again in the future. Thank you, Quarter Moon Plumbing for your honesty!!

Representatives from Quarter Moon Plumbing have been to my home three times now, twice for repairs and once to provide an estimate. Their work was thorough, and follow-up questions were promptly answered and work resolved. In addition, the representatives have been true gentlemen, which I certainly appreciate. I recommend Quarter Moon Plumbing, and I expect to employ their services for my home in the future.

We had water gushing out near our meter, and GVSUD said it was on our side, wouldnt touch it. When I called Quarter Moon, they promised to get someone out here within a couple of hours, and they did! Within 30 minutes of arriving, they had it fixed. I only had to pay for the service call (since it took less than an hour to fix) plus a few inexpensive parts.Thank you so much!!

I’ve used Quater Moon for several years with plumbing and HVAC issues and have been happy with their service, until now. My ac stopped cooling and, of course, it was after hours, so an extra charge was applied. Had it not been so hot inside and worrying about my dog, I would have waited to get an appointment during business hours.My issue was that the technician told me my time started when he was in route, and there would be about a 40 minute delay, due to traffic. When he finally arrived, it didn’t take long for him to locate the problem and fix it. Not only did I have to pay for the after hours charge, which I was fine with, but having to pay extra for being stuck in traffic was upsetting. I gave them 3 stars because my past experience with Quarter Moon has been positive, but I’ll be looking elsewhere, for service in the future, in case this is how they conduct business now, especially with a loyal customer.

I have always been pleased with the work that Quarter Moon A/C and plumbing has done for me. Yesterday the AC service was fantastic. I scheduled a quote for a water softener install today. Make sure you understand that you might be charged a fee just for a quote. I was told that I agreed to this on a recording line, but I certainly don’t remember that. I understood that the hourly labor was $125. I have never paid for a quote. The guys were very nice and professional but were only at my house for 5 to 10 minutes at most. There was no way that I was going to fork out $125 for that. Additionally two other quotes that I got were much different than the verbal estimate I was given. I reviewed the dollar amount value of these quotes to the technicians as well. What disturbed me is I was asked by the office when they called why I didn’t offer the amount what my previous quotes were over the phone and they would have avoided coming out. That is the purpose of quotes to get your best price. Although after a bit of back-and-forth my fee was waived because I simply didn’t understand that a quote would cost me $125. I will certainly use this company again just because the quality of work that they have done for me in the past, but I would recommend, that quotes should be given at free charge.

Quarter moon and plumbing did a great job helping me today with a busted PVC irrigation pipe. They were able to send Ronald out to my property same day (within 3.5 hours of calling). I had already identified where the break/leak was and had the pieces removed and ready for them to be replaced. Ronald knew exactly what he was doing and went right to work, using new pieces and reconnecting my water lines. In all they were at my property about 60mins. I am only giving 4/5 stars because the company itself charges a flat $125 per hour fee regardless of the size of the job. Outside of that a great experience and Ronald was amazing.

Beware: Disastrous Experience with Quarter Moon PlumbingI recently had the misfortune of dealing with Quarter Moon Plumbing, and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. What began as a routine $400 repair turned into an attempted price gouging.Upon receiving an exorbitant quote of $7500 to re-pipe my entire house and replace the hot water heater, I rightly pushed back. They sent a more experienced plumber who completed the repair for a mere $440.However, the incompetence of Quarter Moon Plumbing didnt end there. Despite my explicit instructions to ensure the water was turned off at the property, they neglected to do so. As a result, water ran unchecked for a staggering 13 days, flooding my bathroom and causing extensive damage.Attempts to rectify the situation were met with further frustration. Quarter Moon Plumbing displayed a shocking lack of accountability, failing to return my calls for over a week and refusing to acknowledge their negligence. When they finally agreed to submit the water damage claim to their insurance company, they promptly washed their hands of responsibility, shifting blame onto me and advising me to file a claim with my insurance instead.This level of disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling, especially considering my familys longstanding relationship with Quarter Moon Plumbing spanning over 20 years and multiple properties. Its unfathomable that a company we once trusted could provide such abysmal service when we needed them most.I urge anyone in need of plumbing services to steer clear of Quarter Moon Plumbing. Their incompetence, lack of professionalism, and refusal to take responsibility for their mistakes make them wholly unreliable. Save yourself the headache and find a reputable plumbing service that values its customers and stands by its work.

Quarter Moon was fantastic as always! You shouldnt even waste your time calling other plumbers with their outrageous quotes. Never been disappointed with their work and neither will you. Colton did a great job with shower fixture, tub drain and installing new garbage disposal. Thanks Quarter Moon!

Got totally misquoted. Got told it will take 2-3 max and technician was there for 6 hours and used his time to train his coworker which is unacceptable when someone is paying an hourly rate. Also he mentioned that if he knew that were in a time crunch would’ve finish faster. Paid more than half of what was quoted. Will never and will never be recommending your company. Extremely poor business practice

Pro: Friendly crew.Con: Requested a drain quote as it’s tends to be $20K+. They sent the B team for an inspection and charged $188 for absolutely no work and no estimate for what was requested. Charged $188 for an unnecessary inspection due to the company’s mistake of sending the wrong team. After going with another company, this company has a reputation for insurance claims, not quality work. Very shady company. Did not mention a charge for a quote when scheduling. The inspection they provided 7 days later was the same information I provided to them at the house.I do not recommend, unless you want an insurance claim.Update: no refund was provided. What was offered was an hour free for another team to come out.

July 2023 had Qrt Moon (Colton) install 2 new Khoeler toilets in our home since renovating as dad passed & moms now in assisted living. Recently started working in the master areas where 1 of the new toilets was installed & noticed (1/26/24) it leaks when flushed around the base revealing the wax seal likely wasn’t seated adequately. Nice lady Rep (only been with Qrt since Dec 2023) said they have a 90 day warranty on labor but would be able to come out & fix their poor install for an hourly rate. Their office is way out on the outskirts of NE San Antonio & I mentioned why would anyone want them to fix something they didn’t do properly the first time when I could call another plumber close by for a similar hourly rate & then politely asked to speak with Greg or Joel (thinking maybe Greg super or Joel owner might help to schedule the fix when they had a job close by to avoid unnecessary hours of drive time). She said Joel was out & Greg was on a conference call for another 30 minutes then would be leaving the office, so i left message for a call back to discuss. I mentioned we used Qrt Moon on an insurance claim a couple yrs back replacing the entire homes underside sanitary drain line (50k+) thinking loyalty or customer appreciation might be a thought. Rep understood my concerns & would leave my message for call back. Naturally never received a call back from Qrt Moon implying their company’s philosophy clearly doesn’t need to respect call backs nor that repeat Buis is that important. Sad state of affairs somebody should hope after hearing this scenario that Qrt Moon would want to stand behind their work or reputation & want at least try to work with someone to remedy their B teams poor performance on a brand new toilets faulty install. Don’t believe… if they ever respond with their typical generic response regarding this poor review expressing “we’re genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate your honest feedback. We understand the importance of addressing issues promptly..” cuzz I gave them a chance to respond to my request for a call back & it fell on deaf ears. Would never “NOT” recommend any plumbing company like Qrt Moon who doesn’t respect a call back & can’t install a brand new toilet properly who doesn’t want to at least try to remedy their B teams fault & show a little appreciation for a past customer who’s past financial contribution to their business was substantial. Absolutely Pathetic. Buyers Beware. Spent time & effort to post my experience so others may benefit from an honest review. Pics attached.I feel its also important to notice theres been no response from Qrt Moon from any Yelp reviews which clearly is a reflection they could care less about customers.Update as of 2/20/24... since theres been no response from Qrt Moons pathetic (supposedly simple) new Koehler toilet install that leaks, I went ahead and had Jon Wayne redo the toilet reset for $150 along with their superior warranty. Avoid Qrt Moon at all cost as they clearly dont care about quality work & could care less about their customers. Here’s a few more pics from today revealing the new toilet wasn’t even set onto the wax ring… clearly Qrt Moon’s Colton didn’t know that when u set a toilet properly o ton a wax ring u can feel the ring set but instead he jus installed without setting the ring as it needed a thicker wax ring to be properly set. Also the tank to bowl had a leak & found Qrt Moons Colton also pinched the rubber seal when assembling the toilet during install. Jon Wayne reassembled trying to flex out the rubber & used Megaloc sealant around the rubber seal to properly seal the tank to bowl eliminating the leak. Obviously Qrt Moon’s Colton isn’t proficient doing a basic new toilet install by sabotaging the work where upon my discovering the leaks Qrt Moon’s supervisor Greg did absolutely nothing to try to remedy their worker’s deficient toilet installs. Looks like Qrt Moons rookie employees can’t be trusted to do basic toilet installs. See pics during the proper fixes from Jon Wayne. Pics reveal truth !!

Great service from Bryan Smith on the AC side. He was very professional the whole time, both in person and over the phone, always communicating in a timely manner and approachable. Definitely recommend him if you need a technician for AC services/repair.

Ive used Quarter Moon for plumbing and HVAC services. The customer service and timely responsiveness are outstanding. Their prices are competitive and lower than many big companies like Elmers or Aramendia. They are professional and take time to answer questions and explain services and costs. A few years ago we got a second opinion from Quarter Moon Plumbing regarding a problem and it saved us thousands. Since then we have used them and always been happy.Last week we had Kenny F. and Fernando out to help with our water heater. and would like to thank them for all of their advice and assistance in getting our hot water back up and running. Quarter Moon Plumbing came out and replaced a pressure reducing valve that failed. It was a new home and the original pressure reducing valve I had lasted 6 years. I paid a good amount of money to have this part replaced, and at the time I was impressed with the work. These devices should last many years but their newly installed part failed within 6 months. I called them to have them replace the faulty part, and they advised me they only honor their work for 90 days. I would have to pay them again to have the faulty part replaced. I do not recommend this company that does not stand behind the products they sell. Im grateful that I realized the part failed before it caused any damage to my houses plumbing. I will not pay Quarter Moon again to install another cheap/faulty part that they wont stand behind. I recommend that anyone reading this also look elsewhere so faulty/cheap parts are not installed at your residence/business.

I just wanted to send a big shout out to Kyle and Austin ( curious as to why a Kyle and a Austin were teamed up together in Texas...lol) who managed to unclog my kitchen drain. Kyle stated it was one of the toughest he ever had. Im assuming my 35 year old home is older than the both of them and plumbing has probably evolved since 1985. They worked on it for hours and maintained a very professional attitude and had great sense of humor.We have never been disappointed with Quartermoon. We have always felt the prices were reasonable, but the best part is the professionalism and knowing that they will show up and really fix the problem without a complaint and be courteous the whole time and realize my time is as precious as theirs. The dependability is huge for me. I really appreciate them and we thank all the employees there. I as a RN can honestly say we all have a purpose here and there are days where its a thankless day and no appreciation is felt but we continue to do what we do because its our calling. Thank you again, Kyle and Austin, for a great job!!!

Called to have a water heater installed and they were able to come out he next day and provided a fair quote for the install. The work was done in a timely manner and came in under the original quote. The team at Quarter Moon called the next day and informed us that there was a billing error and credited our bill by almost $100.00. That is honesty that is truly appreciated by their clients. This is not the first time we have used the Quarter Moon team and we will continue to use them in the future.

Quarter moon is great!! I called to schedule for someone to come out to my home. They were so quick to responding. Kenny called 30 mins before he arrived. He was super thorough and fixed our problem quickly. The price was reasonable as well. I will be keeping their phone number for any of our plumbing or HVAC needs. Weve had Quarter Moon to our house at least 3 times. Every time was great. They are quick, clean, professional and most importantly...they fix the problem. Theyve helped with our water heater, kitchen sink and even our sprinkler system. We appreciate that they are a local company that has a greater interest in making sure my family is taken care of. They know what they are doing and I will continue to do business with them for many years to come.

I have used Quarter Moon twice now–referred to us by State Farm. I had used another plumber who wanted to charge us an outrageous price for a broken pipe. Robert came out and found it was just a clog and cleared it. The next time he came and fixed another problem quickly and for a great price. We would use them again and recommend.

Quarter Moon came out to fix a broken pipe after another company supposedly fixed it. Apparently there were still issues and QM was extremely prompt, professional, and reasonable priced. They fixed our plumbing leak in no time. We have since had them come out for 2 more un-releated plumbing repairs and they have always exceeded our expectations! Im glad to know I have a trusted plumber I can call! Its so hard to find trustworthy contractors. I know Quarter Moon has the best interests of their customers in mind. I would highly recommend them to anyone for their plumbing needs!

I have used these guys a couple times in my home. Each incident was quickly and professionally handled. I found quarter-moon after my home warranty company sent 2 incompetent plumbers to fix a stopped up washing machine drain. They were in and out within an hour, no further problems. When my main stack backed up, they came out and removed the upstairs toilet and rooted out the line. When I had a leak in the second floor shower, they repaired the leak on the first visit.Definitely not the cheapest out there, but it has been a one-trip fix each time for me.

I have been using Quarter Moon Plumbing for years. Last project was to replace two (yep I have two water heaters in my attic) water heaters. That was 4 years ago.This year I did the annual drain on the water heaters and one of the gate valves would not function. I could not cut off the water at the water heater. I had asked for ball valves on the new water heaters 4 years ago for that reason.Mind you this is 4 years out. I called Quarter Moon and they sent over a man to take a look.(Michael) Thought I was going to get charged for the valve replacement and labor BUT the licensed plumber said the that the valves should have been ball valves when the water heaters were installed. No charge!Thank you Quarter Moon Plumbing.

Michael K. came out and found the solution to my problem quickly. The also found a very serious problem with the ancient shut off valve to the water to the house saving me a multitude of future problems. Having to wait for another day for the city to shut off my water, they didnt charge me for the first day. They worked quickly, efficiently and with excellent knowledge. Great customer service and price!!

I have lived in San Antonio since 1985 and Quarter Moon Plumbing is the first and only plumbers that I can recommend to friends and family. That got my business for life. My house shifted on its foundation 3 times in 3 years and Quarter Moon Plumbing identified that Topps Plumbing did not do repairs according to code. The great thing about Quarter Moon Plumbing is that they take pictures of the plumbing before repairs are started and after they completed plumbing repairs. They were extremely patient with me and empathetic that Topps Plumbing, a license master plumber, would take advantage of me when Topps knew that there would not be an inspection since I live in the county. The price with Quarter Moon Plumbing of comparable repairs completed by Topps was lower with Quarter Moon. Quarter Moon is great in the area of forensics and they know the plumbing code very well. Many different employees with Quarter Moon serviced my house and they were all extremely professional. They always cleaned up after themselves which is extremely rare to find that sort of professionalism in any type of home repair, regardless of type of contractor. They have pride in workmanship and they only use quality materials. Quarter Moon has my permission to show any of their customers my pictures. You can not go wrong with Quarter Moon Plumbing and I know you can trust Quarter Moon Plumbing for your most serious repairs. Their honesty exceeds what I have ever experienced with any contractor. I have confidence my troubles are over. The stress relief Quarter Moon provided is priceless.

Had an issue with the scheduling service on the initial call but they called me back to reschedule first thing the next day and even had someone come early as they finished another project. The plumber, Robert, was great and fixed our issues quickly. Despite the hiccup, I will definitely call them for future plumbing needs.

I want to say that a few years ago I hired AAA Auger to fix a water spigot for me and they were reasonable and fast. More recently one of my employees broke one and I called Quarter Moon simply because I have a friend of a friend that works there. I called them at about 10 AM and they did not show up until about 7 PM. I was really upset by this, I expected this done much sooner. So, my luck, this water spigot was some different type of PVC, I think it was called CVC. Well, they did not have the part and the only place to buy the part closed at 5. They closed 7 hours after I called... So, I had to buy my customer a hotel room for the night. The next day they fixed the spigot and told me that my bill was just under $500.00. OMG $500 to fix an outside water spigot? I asked about the charges and they did feel the need to charge me $200 for the time spent on the plumber looking for the right part the night before. Then another $280 for fixing it the next morning. The part was less than $4. The plumber did tell me that the glue for this part requires 45 minutes of dry time. So, I paid the plumber $100 per hour for him to wait 45 minutes for the glue to dry and this started at 11 AM. Really, the guy could not take a lunch break at that time? Well, I am sure he did take a lunch break on my bill... Of course I also paid $100 per hour for him to drive to the store that sold the part he needed. Long story short, $480 to fix an outside plastic water spigot. I will call AAA Auger next time.

I received this company as a referral from a friend. I was severely disappointed with their service though. They baically charged me $100 to check my bathroom sink only to reccommend I change my faucet. I was fine with them charging a fee for taking time to come home to my residence, but when I tried to call back and reschedule so that they can replace or see if they could even fix it... I never got a phone call back. Even though the lady said someone would call me back that day. I would not reccommend this group to any of my coworkers or friends.The right thing to do was to not charge me right there and reschedule a time to replace my faucet or charge a more reasonable fee. And keep your word. If someone says Ill call you back... you expect them to.

🛑Warning: Hire ANY other company 🛑2019:I gave them a chance to do some plumbing repairs last week and the plumber did NOTHING but wants to charge me $300. I think not. So they can’t be trusted with simple plumbing either. 🙄2017***Plumber Robert is excellent but DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR HVAC SERVICE.***I purchased their winter/summer maintenance service. When they came out for the winter service in January, they said my UV light was burned out. They said they would have to reschedule another time to return once they had located a matching replacement UV bulb. After 2 weeks I called the office and asked, How long I should expect it to take them to find a little UV bulb? After being put on hold for what felt like forever bc of their annoyingly juvenile phone commercials, the clueless receptionist said she would call me back bc the lazy/incompetent hvac tech was still searching for the UV bulb. I never heard from either of them. Flakes!If they contact me and replace the bulb for free, due to the inconvenience, I will update this review with a positive one. But I doubt that a company who cant find a little uv bulb or keep their word actually reads reviews like mine. Well see.

They did one job for me was happy, but second time around called for a toilet part. They came said no part like that they have and the need order one, quote was over three hundred and I decided to cancel the job and just replace the toilet myself which costs like $100 in home depot . They procided to charge me for the time and driving they did $$214 .00!! Which I refused to pay they only ve been 15 minutes on sight!! They came down to $164.00 after I told them that was ridiculous !! I am very unhappy and no longer use or recommend..!!

I LOVE this company! The a/c division is second to none! Ricks been in the business for 20+ years and then theres Troy who is a super-knowledgeable gem! I had a problem with some work another a/c company did. Troy came out, took the time to thoroughly inspect, check, and test the unit that wasnt cooling. He was able to tell us what it needed and recommended I go back to the to the other company. When the other a/c company didnt want to fix it, Rick and Troy went above and beyond and spoke to the other a/c company for me to help resolve the problem. Im having Troy come back after the other a/c company does the work to inspect and make sure its done right. I couldnt ask for anything more! They have my loyalty and business for life!

Well you asked for it, here it is. You did terrific work on a big job for me and I told you. Now I must tell you that the commercial you air with the silly talk is something I cant turn off quick enough when Im driving.Though you should know my critism as well as my praises.

I am rating Quarter Moon Plumbing 5 stars although my toilet and plumbing is not completely fixed now, with the assistance of Adam, Ronald, Pablo, and his assistant they have diagnosed the problem and advised a plan to fix the problem.I recommend them to anyone.

George and his team took steps to keep my cost low, arrived on time, and worked efficiently to replace a failed Manabloc. I appreciate their honest advice, professionalism, and reasonable cost. They worked very hard on my behalf to find parts and keep costs low.

I would recommend Quarter Moon Plumbing to anyone in the San Antonio area who needs any type of plumbing or HVAC services done. These guys are very professional, their customer services is always great and they are fair with their pricing.

First day 1 guys come out take 10 minutes to just get out of truck - I had to go out there to show them I was waiting. They get out, walk around and look at the outside faucets, water heater, check out an outside drain - I took video of what they were doing. They check an outside faucet with a gauge and determine ther is a leak, ask me a few more questions which I had to ask my husband because he was a work. Determine it is a “slab leak” call their office and say they can’t do anything because they don’t have the equipment and ask if they can schedule someone to come out Monday. They put me on speaker and I speak to their dispatch who says they can’t have anyone there till montaftenoon and they’d have to get back with me on time - it’s Friday afternoon. I have to wait about 5 minutes to hear from my husband and we confirm Monday is good.Monday comes we have to call them to find out when they are coming and they say sometime between 1-2pm but that is still an estimate- it’s noon! We go eat a quick lunch come back and 10 min they show up. These guys walk around ask my husband some questions compliment him on his “fancy” gadget (30$ water vapor gauge) say they don’t have the equipment and have to come back. They take a few pictures and my husband asked for a quote.Really - and we’ll get charged another service charge even though I WAS STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO THE FIRST GUYS ON FRIDAY WHEN THEY TOLD THE OFFICE WHAT WAS QRONG AND I SPOKE TO THE DISPACH PERSON WHO SAID THE GUYS ON FRIDAY COULDNT DO ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY DIDNT HAVE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT!!We don’t recommend them to ANYONE - and we’re calling the BBBtonreport then. Crooks. I also putting it out on Nextdoor in ALL neighborhoods and Facebook and Instagram and I’m a flight attendant so I’ll be telling every passenger I see who asks!!!Shame on you!

Worst service ever. They charge by the hour and really try to get their moneys worth out of you. Not to mention the toilet they repaired is still broken and the facet they fixed outside still leaks. Stay away from this place. If I could give 0 stars I would but google wont post the comment unless you give a star

The two repairmen who came to the house were on time and very courteous and professional. They informed us of the price upfront. It was very reasonable. I would highly recommend their services to my friends and family.

I paid quarter moon plumbing $363.16 on Feb 2, 2022 to install a new kitchen faucet. 4 months later, the kitchen faucet they bought and installed started leaking badly.

Called, and they came out same day to fix my water heater! Bryan was cool, great service.
