They didn’t show (I received email confirmation of appointment day/time). No one ever called about a delay or to reschedule. I understand things happen, but no one even bothered to return my call or text the next day either.Giving them a 2 because Carla was super nice on the phone. Their reviews seemed great, and I was hoping they would be my new go-to for HVAC needs.

We had a problem with our A/C, these guys were highly recommended. They responded quickly and were able to come the very next day. Aaron worked hard to track down the problem and get it fixed right. Honest and hard-working. We will definitely be calling them again in the future for all our needs.

Ramon came out to our home and installed a mini split for us as well as installed an Ecobee thermostat. Ramon was super friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the entire process. He took time to explain what he was doing and made me and my family feel comfortable with the work that was being done. Once the work was finished, he invited me to inspect and the level of detail and care that he put into the installation was great. I’ve never had this level of care and attention, and it left me hoping to find another reason to have them come out. I had multiple bids for the job and I am so thankful that not only did we choose Quality Star Services, but that we were lucky enough to have Ramon take care of our family. I’ll definitely be recommending them to friends and family and while I hope I don’t have to call them too soon, I look forward to working with Ramon and Quality Star Services again in the future.

The company name says it all! Aaron, Ramon, and the team were very efficient and professional. We had to replace our HVAC system due to signs of failure. They were able to temporarily fix the problem before replacing the system. The replacement was completed in a day, and any hiccups were taken care of while they took precautions to prevent damages to the furniture, walls, or floors. They even went the extra mile to ensure that our system was optimally set up by coming back the following day. We were very satisfied with the work. Company highly recommended!

Quality Star Service has always been dependable and professional. They always do a great job. Ive used them back when their Dad owned the business. They are fair, honest and a good family business. They were recommended to me buy a coworker who could only say great things about them. My appointment today was for cleaning my AC filters outside from the inside out just to maintain my AC unit. They also did some maintenance inside as my AC pipes started to leak over the weekend right before my appointment. Ramon is a super nice guy and always does great work. I recommend them to everyone I know.

I agree with all the excellent reviews for Quality Star Services, particularly those that mention Aarons HVAC expertise and his overall professionalism and demeanor----he truly exceeds all expectations. After having dealt with questionable HVAC businesses providing excessive quotes for unnecessary repairs, Aaron was able to get my AC cooling again for a very reasonable price. I only wish I had known about Quality Star Services sooner. Trust the amazing reviews---they are true! I very highly recommend this business.

Aaron and his crew were amazing! They are extremally hard working, professional, and their quality of work is next level. They perform maintenance regularly on our units and when it was time to replace my older unit they gave us an excellent price but also several options to make sure we got what we wanted as well as understood our options to make the best choice for us. I will always use them and am grateful I found them. Aaron is always a really fun to talk to and super patient with myself and my kids running around while he works.

Aaron and his team are picture-perfect professionals. They are very polite, social, and punctual. After another San Antonio company tried to overcharge us for work that reputable companies do not even perform (repairing the coil) Quality Star Services gave us a simple, honest second opinion and assessment of the situation. We were provided with 3 different reasonable options for moving forward and were able to chose the one that fit our budget. The completed work was done in a professional manner with regard for my carpets, baby gates, etc. We couldn’t be happier with their service and recommend them 100%!

My A/C suddenly stopped unfortunately. I had planned to have someone come out and repair it the following day, but Aaron (Woody) so kindly made it a point to come by to check it out and get everything squared away. I can’t express my appreciation enough, as he was on the complete other side of town, it was getting a little bit later in the afternoon, and he still got to my home on time and ultimately got everything resolved. He was incredibly knowledgeable and walked me through his processes while providing clear explanations. He was very thorough and didn’t rush, unlike other companies I’ve had that experience with. Overall, a wonderful experience! My home feels amazing now and I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone!

I picked this place based on reviews and the amount received. It was an excellent strategy. Very nice and reasonable. Also super quick on troubleshooting what was going on and quickly repaired my AC. Appreciate it! I would say the price was very fair as well. Just an overall great experience.

We were fortunate to have time to get 6 quotes from local A/C companies. With the exception of a couple of outliers (2 big names/lots of advertising) that were much more expensive and quoted brands Id not heard of, most prices for the units were comparable. While all 6 visited our home, Aaron was the only one to sit down with us and give detailed information on what he planned to do to make our system cool/heat better in trouble spots. In addition, I had LOTS of questions and he was always so gracious to answer to help me become a more informed consumer. He and Ramon went above and beyond to organize the drain lines, ducts and wiring in the attic which was totally unexpected. I heard and read The brand you get is not nearly as important as the installers you chose many times during this experience and Im certain we made the correct choice in Aaron and Quality Star. They are a fantastic family owned business and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Aaron was fantastic! Very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He took the time to explain how to adjust our thermostats to most efficiently cool out home. It’ll save us a lot of money! Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Aaron and Ramon were great. Aaron spent a lot of time looking at the issues in our house and understanding our hotspots and developed a great plan to adjust the ducts along with the install of a new system. They found other duct issues during the install and corrected them without a hitch. They even helped me fix the inadequate duct for our bathroom fan with leftover material from the main ac system job. When the new thermostat was acting funky a few days after install they came out the day I reported it and got it fixed promptly. Would definitely recommend.

Quality Star Services worked on our ACs. They listened to our concerns and were very helpful Aaron and crew are very friendly and took the time to explain what will work best for our rental property. The best part is that they fill out all the necessary forms for us to get our CPS rebate. I highly recommend them.

Quality Star Services (formerly AllAir) is a great company and went over and beyond by providing us with a holiday (Labor Day) service call when our air conditioner unexpectedly quit working. He had several emergency calls that day and still fit us into the schedule giving us timely updates on his arrival time. Aaron was quick to diagnose the problem, get the needed replacement part installed and have us up and running again. He was quite thorough and checked out attic and other areas just because he wanted to insure adequate air flow and assuage our concerns about future problems. We were more than pleased with the service and personal attention given by Aaron and his company. They care about customer satisfaction and quality service. We highly recommend Quality Star Services.

Our AC went out two weeks ago, and we had Quality Star Services out to fix the issue. It failed again this past weekend (the AC was installed in 2006), and I am so very appreciative for the service that we got when we called back for help.They gave great feedback on the pros and cons of repairing vs. replacing our system. They also made sure to tailor those recommendations to our needs instead of pushing for the option that would make them the biggest return. The owner came out himself on the day before July 4th, and they worked late to finish so that we would have AC that evening and his employees could have the holiday off. He also offered the option for us to use their window AC units temporarily if they couldn’t get the install done in one day.These folks are very professional, very knowledgeable, and they look out for their customers.

This company is awesome!! Both heaters and AC units in our house were getting older and we knew we would have to replace them soon because they were installed in 2007. We had a Freon leak and originally called a big box company to come out and look at it. When the told me it was over $900 just for Freon + diag for the leak and other charges I abruptly asked them to leave. I then called a company that I believe only had 1 employee but only charged $220 to recharge. He informed me I need a condenser so I asked him to email a quote to fix it. I waited for this about a week and after calling twice, never did get that quote. That led me to quality star. I called, because by now the Freon was out again and a super nice lady said it would be a couple days before they could get to it. I was about to call other places when she called back and said that the tech would swing by on his way home for the night. They came by and were so professional and just had very good vibes, for that reason I had them quote two new heating and AC units. I did not even shop the price I was given because of their superior honesty and we now have all new heating and AC units. Absolutely wonderful company and the only place we will ever call for this stuff. In a world full of scammers and poor business practice I fell very lucky to have found such a great company. You will not be let down if you do business with them.

We had a fantastic experience. Ray came out promptly and was quickly able to troubleshoot the problem we were having with the AC. He was very thorough in explaining things in easy to understand terms and fixed it to proper working order. Now our house is nice and cool just in time before summer. I would definitely use this service again highly recommend this service to anyone who is in need of AC service or repair.

We dealt primarily with Ray (who came highly recommended). Ray came out same day I called to assess the situation. Then he ordered parts and he and Aaron were out a few days later. These guys really know their stuff. They were extremely professional but also personal and relaxed. They even asked if I minded them playing music while they worked. After I said yes, I kinda giggled at the low volume - like that would have ever bothered me.They were tidy and cleaned up as they went. They explained every step - especially the ones I asked about (I’m nosey). They got the whole system replaced in about half a day and we were completely cool and back to “normal” within a few more hours. In addition to all of this excellent service, they also installed a cut off switch in the event of a back up so the AC wouldn’t leak on to my water heater. Above and beyond service. I recommend them to anyone needing AC service!!!

The technician (Aaron) was very polite and professional during the entire visit. All work being done was explained well and took the time and care to make sure a thorough job was done. Military friendly too! Only reason 4 stars instead of 5 is because the time window was missed and I had to reach out for updates. Still saw me same day which in 105 degree heat was crucial!

Aron and Ramon took our a coil ou,t, the blower out and everything and took it all outside, gave it a very thorough cleaning and reinstalled it all. Then took motor out of outside unit and cleaned those coils and put it all together, charged the unit and it’s working great. They kept us informed of everything they were doing and were very honest about it all which you don’t find much of these days. We really appreciate the good service they provided to us.

Aaron came out on short notice in July when the temps were 105 degrees. Poor guy stayed until 7 pm working on my system. His prices were reasonable and he got my AC working again!!!! He was professional and friendly. I will use them again if needed, and will recommend him to friends and family.

Great company! I’ve been using them for more than 15 years for three different homes. They always explain clearly what is going on with our system and recommend the best options for us even when it is less business for them. They have done maintenance, replaced ducting, installed a new air return, blown in insulation, and replaced an entire system for us. I’ve stopped getting second quotes on big jobs. It’s good to have someone we feel comfortable with.

Im not an expert, nor have I watched enough YouTube videos to pretend to be one, but the job Aaron/Jared/Ramon did installing my new AC unit was fantastic - the kind of job a company can build reality TV shows around. They walked me through what was hurting my previous heating/cooling experience, and how they could help so that I was never in the dark about what I needed. There was no upfront cost, and even when I changed my mind about how to finance everything, they let me wait despite EVERYTHING already getting done. I really cant say enough good things about everyone involved. They were professional but conversational, and quick but still thorough (and I paid for ALL the trimmings). They were a stereotype (in the best way!) of the small business who cares about the customer experience but has the experience and acumen to execute a quality installation.

Not sure why some people want to b@s$& about the service... I am visiting my daughter and I’ve interacted with Ray twice now. He is very pleasant and tells me what he’s doing throughout the job. From my experience with him, I feel this company has great customer service and cares about its customers. When the air went out a month ago, Ray made sure to get here ASAP to get us up and running. Oh, the kid that was supposed to be here showed up late...but Ray replaced the unit mostly on his own! HE ROCKS!!Cost wise, it is pretty comparable to others, but others didn’t have the quality customer service this company does!Allin all I highly recommend this company!!

From the initial call to service/repair completion, they communicate well, explain what we need to know about our HVAC, offer solutions, and are fairly priced. When our AC was in the fritz we decided to call Quality Star Services, based on the recommendation of some friends and neighbors. We were not disappointed! Aaron came out very quickly, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. He even gave us some tips and advice for our AC, which we appreciated. Well definitely be calling them again for any future repairs.

Aaron, Ramon and the rest of the team are awesome. They installed an AC unit a little over a year ago. We recently had an issue with it and the FAN Blower failed. Aaron and team did an outstanding job on advising the best replacement HVAC system American Standard in our home. I had a lot of questions and Aaron was very professional in answering all my questions. They were the best in cost and quality compared to advertisements you see on TV. Reference to service, they covered 2 years of FREE service if anthing goes wrong v.s. there compeditors which cover only 1 year.

The process of scheduling someone to come to service my unit was excellent. Ray of Quality Star Services was an expert friendly and most important someone you can trust.I very strongly recommend this company to anyone needing AC services.

I will not use specific names for this review, however, the employee I had the interaction with may possibly be the owner or related to the owner. We initially called to receive an estimate for service that was supposed to be $70. We clarified this fact with the employee after he evaluated our system. After he completed the evaluation which was required to retain his company he did not give us an answer on what the issue with the AC was. Prior to him leaving our residence he let us know he put in a small amount of Freon however when we confirmed what we owed him he stated the $70 would take care of the visit that day. Ultimately we decided to go with a different provider and when we called, as a courtesy, to inform the company that we were going another direction the technician informed us that we now owed $200 for the Freon. We explained that this was surprising as we had clarified his fees prior to him leaving our residence. The employee admitted that he forgot. We explained that placing $200 of Freon in a system is something that should have been divulged. The employee then stated that he could come back to the house and take back the Freon, alternatively, he requested the $200. In the end he accepted $100, however, his business practices were questionable and we are considering reporting this incident to the licensing board that regulates his industry. Typically when businesses mess something up they should take responsibility accordingly instead of planting it on the shoulders of customers. If this company used these tactics on us they most likely do this often and I would advise caution in accepting services from them.

Quality star service has done AC and heater repair/replacement work and my home and a rental property. They are professional, courteous, and very honest. Among the several companies I have used in San Antonio, they are hands-down the best. I will not go anywhere else for my heating and air conditioning service.

Ramon is a true professional. He helps me with a couple of rental properties I have. The tenants always comment on how responsive, polite, and honest he is while fixing their air conditioning. I would never give my HVAC business to anyone else.

I have to say that Ray and Sam definitely went the full 150 percent over and above what they came to do today. The ac was not cooling properly. They quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the coils. We had 2 other companys out in the last 2 and a half weeks and no one could find the problem. Water heater bit the dust and these guys came through for us big time! Saved about 30% (over $1,000) compared to what another company quoted for the same job. Aaron was so patient with my questions- and I ask a lot. They even left the space cleaner than when they started. This is the second time they’ve done major work on our home (last time was AC) and I was very pleased both times.

I called last Monday for routine A/C service, blowing out the drain line specifically. Dorothy who answered the phone seemed very nice, and to want my business. We set an appointment for last Friday between 4 and 6. At 4:15 I called to make sure all was in order, but had to leave a voicemail. I left another at 6, both times wanting a call back. Bottom line, nobody ever showed and nobody ever called back. That was a week ago and still no word.

I typically dont write reviews, but this time I had to as I was blown away by Quality Star and their service. Ramon in particular. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He went out of his way, and I mean way out, to help me with my aircon issue and I am incredibly grateful.

I have called for service to my AC unit because it was not giving me the right temperature I set especially when the hot weather days. The technician came in and went thorough check Other companies just sent an advisor to tell you what you don’t need and how to spend your money. But he literally went and check the attic. Not just look at it. He climb inside the attic. I totally respect the effort and the value of anyone who gives 120% effort before telling you what you needed without even doing the effort of checking your house from top to bottom. You know who’s fixing my AC from now on.

Needing to replace our home HVAC system, and a coworker told us that he had been using Quality Air Services, (QAS) for years as the only company when it comes to heating and air conditioning.We called to request an estimate for a new system. The are professional and extremely knowledgeable. Took time to explain option, and good prices for the equipment, and top quality pros for the installation.We haven’t made a choice at the time of this review, but QAS could be hard to beat.

Not sure how other AC companies make a living in San Antonio with Quality Star Services taking all the customers who care about careful, meticulous work, clear answers to what must be repetitive questions for them, and fair prices that match their original estimates. Over the last seven years and two houses they replaced a compressor in one house, inexpensively kept a 25 year old system running in another, then replaced the entire system, moved it to the attic, redid the ducts, and improved the insulation.Im so glad they did. A system that was so noisy it would wake you every time it kicked on doesnt even rumble. A glassed in patio that was cold in the winter and hot in the summer is now the same temp as the rest of the house. Bedrooms that starved for air with the door closed now have both privacy and comfort. Ducts that were jumbled and tangled are neat and tied into position. The outdoor wiring is neatly sealed against the wood siding with clear silicone, preventing future rot.Give Aaron a budget and some time, hell make the most of it, balancing improvements in insulation and duct work against AC hardware to give you the best possible system.

We price shop for various AC unit and settled on this company after a considering other such as WillFixIt & AirTron. What made us chose this company was Aron and his cooperation in answering all our questions before, during and after the AC system. Aron even guided us in determining what size unit we should get based on our house size and room temperatures. Althought we had heard good things about other AC mfg, Aron recommended the Rudd due to local parts being easily in our area and reduced down time if we should need repairs.During installation, they took care to cover the stairs with a thick cloth. He said it was done to prevent any condensation from pouring out on the carpet. Good thing they did because our old unit was dusty and full of water.After removing the old unit, they clean up the space and applied a gray sealant to the old wood. Next, the new unit arrived without any dents/scratchs. We paid for a new unit and sure feel like we got a brand new air handler and furnace. All Air Mechanical welded every single cooper joint and covered all exposed cooper piping with insulation.They carefully measured and installed new air ducts and grill cover where new duct work was being installed.After installation, we talked about maintenance and care for the unit, in all it took a whole day to get the new unit installed.After a couple of days, the city inspector came by and found water building up on the drain pan. I contacted Aron and he came the next day to inspect the unit. Turns out the increased 0.5 ton on our new system was sucking air through the water drain pipe. Aron recommended that we use a less restrictive filter and it fixed the problem.We have had the unit for over a year now and it has worked flawlessly. The installation still looks like new, all the joints are still in excellent condition.I would highly recommend All Air Mechanical, just be sure to book them early as the summer months are very busy for them.

The repairman who came to my house seemed knowledgeable. apparently i had a leaky evaporator coil. He was upfront and explained that he will attempt to use a leak seal and add coolant to the unit . He stated that the fix could last a few weeks or a couple years. Unfortunately it only lasted 2 weeks. Yes im disappointed however i understood the risk.My issue is ive been asking for a receipt for their services for 2 weeks. They continue to say they will provide it. Simply unprofessional. Meanwhile i still have an evaporator coil leak. I will definitely take my business elsewhere

Scam company!!!!! Bought a house and asked the buyer to repair the ac unit. They hired this company (which I now believe were friends with the owner). All Air said system is working great). So I move into the house a few weeks later and the first night the unit COMPLETELY GOES OUT!! Hired a REAL AC company and they said there were so many red flags on that system implying that it was about to go out and that they should have caught it!!! I am completely disgusted!!! Dont use this company!!!! They are liars!!!!!

They don’t honor the quality, for the third time we had a technician for the same problem and who was rude and wanted to charged us for the service call when the problem was under their own 30 days warranty. Also he went to a different house and said he ring the bell and I told Him I record the door bell and He was never in my house so then He was like oh yeah I remember now and He came late… I don’t recommend this place He even threatened us to call the cops!!
