Honestly, I don’t know why this company’s reviews are so high because I’ve had the worst experience with them. They installed a new hvac system about two years ago and within a few weeks it stopped working due to a split in the copper tubing which wasleaking Freon inside the closet. Mind you, from the first time the came they mentioned the fact that we had dogs so “make sure you change the filter often”. Ok, we know so we do. Then, a couple of months later the unit completely stops working and it happened right after a huge storm so we assumed it was related. We called them to come check it out and they said, “Okay but it’s going to cost you $120 just for us to send someone out there.” Now, we (and our landlord) were under the impression that our unit was still under warranty but it was summer and hot so we were like…ok. They came out, barely looked at it and said, “Oh, it’s electrical and has nothing to do with the hvac unit so you will have to call an electrician.” They still charged us $110. Fast forward to this week and we finally had an electrician come out and he said that the HVAC unit has a fried transformer. Ummmm excuse me, what!! So, it was the unit itself??? Are you kidding me? So Mike comes out and literally blames it on dogs chewing the wiring on the outside unit and NOT ON HIS SHODDY WORK! So, they lied about it needing an electrician, charged me the $110 and KNEW that it was their fault when they came out but didn’t want to fix it because IF it was due to the wiring being chewed by the dogs then why the heck didn’t they say that when they came out???? The electrician and another guy both stated that the way they did the outside wiring was the problem because nothing was protected. So, using Mikes logic, if you have dogs then your hvac won’t last more than a few months. Instead of being accountable for the bad job they did they blamed the dogs and then lied on top of it. I’m very disappointed in this company.

Mike and his crew are simply fantastic! I’ve used University for over 20 years and the service has been consistently excellent, fair, professional, courteous, and quick when responding to an emergency! Today Mark came out to an emergency and found the problem quickly, replaced a capacitor with one from his truck and we were back cooling the house down in no time. Highly recommend Mike and his crew!!!!
