I would recommend Equal Heat And Air to anyone. Derek and Michael were prompt, they quickly identified the issue and had it fixed before it got too hot outside. They offered great advise and helped me understand what the problem was. I will definitely call again if I have any issues in the future.

We had an issue with our system overnight and were without AC the next day. After looking into a couple simple checks with no luck I knew I was beyond my capabilities and called Equal heating & air. Even though they were extremely busy, they made time for us that same day after finishing up on their other projects…..which in of itself was pretty amazing of them!Micah (nice guy with a great attitude) came out and spent a couple hours/checking/troubleshooting some things before finding a thermostat wire that was shorting where it exited the house on the exterior. He was able to get the AC working for my wife (bless them!) until they can make it back to run a new wire , just to be safe- due to the age of our house, mid 70’s construction.Thanks so much Micah & Derek, really appreciated you!! It’s not always common to see such service and care these days!

In the middle of summer we had issues with our AC not cooling the house. We asked multiple companies to diagnose the issue and provide quotes. Equal Heat and Air provided the same diagnosis as other companies and a very competitive quote. When we selected Equal Heat and Air, Derek and Micah put us on their schedule the next day and replaced the coils quickly and cleanly. However we experienced issues of the house cooling unevenly over the next few days and when we called Derek and Micah they again responded immediately and came out the same day to diagnose. They replaced another part, free of charge, in hopes it would fix the issue, but when it did not they came out again to re-diagnose several times over a three week period. Derek and Micah were relentless in solving the issue and did not charge us for any of this work or time spent. Eventually, they brought out their commercial AC specialist who was able to diagnose and fix the issue. If youre looking for a well qualified, reliable, honest and hard working AC company, Equal Heat and Air are your guys. Would definitely recommend and will be calling them for all future needs.

Great service and very friendly. They came same day as phone call and installed new Rheem unit inside and outside the next day.We could not have asked for better service or a better price.

Great Company, extremely responsive and very prompt to get our A/C back and running same day. I was expecting to be without A/C for a couple of days and they were able to get things up same day. They were very responsive and quick to come out when we were having issues with our AC. The issue was fixed and the house is cool again. Very thankful that they were able to get out as fast as they did and get it taken care of! Would highly recommend them for anything you need taken care of.

Of course it is summer in Texas and my air-conditioner broke. It was the compressor. Micah came out within the hour to diagnose. He did not charge me and offered to help me put in my backup window unit. They were back the next day with new unit and I am happy once again to be living in Texas. How did anyone survive before air conditioning? Thank to Micah and crew :)

A/C stopped working late on a Sunday evening in June. having a 7month old baby, we were looking to get a fix quickly. Called several places but only got voicemail. Called Equal Heat and Air and Micah picked up the phone. Came right over and quickly diagnosed a bad breaker. This allowed us to contact an electrician and get a quick fix the next morning. Micah refused to take any payment for coming over and checking our system. I would recommend them to anyone. We live in Sachse.

Amazing customer service! Derek came out early the next day after our AC failed in the middle of summer, fixed the capacitor on the outside unit, got us back to normal in this crazy Texas heat, and didnt try to upsell us on a ton of stuff that we didnt need, like so many others have in our past. Hopefully, we dont have another AC issue, but if we do, were definitely going back here!

We had the best experience with Troy! I called him on a Friday and he made an extra trip to take a look at our broken AC that evening. He went out of his way to bring us an ac unit to get us through the weekend, by Wednesday we had a new AC unit, in the middle of summer! He is very reliable and easy to work with. My family been hot for some time now and we never had anyone actually fix our A/C because nobody knew the problem. Derek came and found the problem in 10 mins and got my house cold. He is a straight shooter. Also very good at explaining the issue.

My room was averaging 89 degrees with all my electronics running.He fixed it.Customer for life.

Crew replaced my AC. They did it as quick as possible. It rained that day and they covered my white carpet to keep it from getting any mud on it foresight is better than hindsight happy they had foresight too.

Had a flat tire on the side of the road, two guys stopped in their work van and helped me & I was able to get me back on the road and they refused to allow me to pay for them helping me. I’ve never used them for ac but I will in the future with no hesitation.
