Unfortunately, I cannot recommend. My home warranty company, American Home Shield, usually sends Heritage when I have an issue. Its a home warranty, so of course, theyll just apply band-aids as needed.For their last visit, they recommended a full system replacement. It took the tech about 5 minutes to make this recommendation. The price was decent, given that the home warranty company was subsidizing the equipment, but it didnt smell right.I paid $69 for a local reputable company to come out and inspect it. They found a leak that Heritage said was coming from an old evaporator coil. The leak was actually outside, and the company, Jaric Air, fixed it as part of the $69 service call, saving me about $5300.Ive had decent experiences with Heritage in the past, but when I requested a second opinion from their company, they balked. Ill be using Jaric for my HVAC replacement. Itll be a lot more expensive, but itll also be done right.So if your home warranty company (probably AHS) sends out Heritage, they might be able to fix your HVAC as part of the home warranty service call, but dont be surprised if they try to sell you something you dont need yet.
HOLY H*LL where do I begin. I have had AHS since we bought the house 5 years ago. EVERY year they send a tech out as it is not cooling. EVERY year they put 3-4 lbs of freon into the system because of a leak. AHS will NOT have them fix the leak just okay to put 3-4 pounds of freon into the atmosphere every year. I got tired of the game and cost of yearly outpour of money ($75.00 for service call and $80-$110.00 yearly for freon.) AHS only pays $10.00 per pound. So i had them install a new Ruud system inside and out on Friday 6/5/2020. They cut open the freon lines and vent 16lbs of freon into the atmosphere. They installed and left. it was 80 degrees in the house, we waited for it to cool. it dropped 1 degree every 4 hours @ 3:15am it got to 72 degrees, at 4:20am the unit stopped working. DEAD. Called to Herritage, said it would be Monday. I said OH H*LL NO it wont. I just spent $ 8,000.00 with you, get someone here today! (remember the $ 8,000.00 it will be important to the story.) Tech arrived. It blew a 3 amp fuse on the circuit board. He replaced it with a 5 amp fuse. NOW I am concerned. The circuit board was designed from the manufacturer for a specific rating of fuse to protect the board and you. You cannot just replace it with a higher amp fuse. Tech said we replace the 3 amp with 5 amp fuses ALL the time. Puts fuse in it gets hot and blows again, now he checks the wiring. says wiring is shorting out somewhere and his guys will have to pull new wiring on Monday. ( Everything is Monday!! ....there is a reason to put you off 3 days. You cant cancel the contract after 3 days) he gets the unit turned on and again it is not cooling....why you ask? When they replaced the inside and outside units they never vacuumed out the ambient air, to be able to fill the system with the proper amount of freon. ( ABSOLUTELY HAS TO HAPPEN). so I get to looking at the install, to see if the ducting is even connected in the attic. that is when the horror descends on me. The drip pan is tilted back and away from the drain, it will NEVER drain water out of the attic, it will all pour onto my ceiling. Secondly The electrical Wiring that supplies the electricity to the attic unit was left dangling and rubbing on the punched out hole, not even secured, After a small amount of time it will rub through and cause a fire. Now the unit they installed was a Ruud 3 ton 16 Seer unit inside and out Price is $2,162.00 for just the units. or $3,890.00 installed from a reputable company. They charged me $8,000.00 and if I paid cash, check or credit card it would only be $7,000.00. Double the price of anybody else. We canceled the contract on Saturday and had them pick up their equipment. We had Conover Heating & Air install their recommended unit. They installed a 3.5 ton American Standard. They turned on the unit at 1:30pm and at 5:15pm my teeth were chattering and had to turn it warmer. It maintains the set temperature perfectly. I can set a temperature down 2 degrees and 15 minutes later it is at that temp. I am glad I decided to check their work, I may not have a house or my life at this point if i didnt... Run from this company....your life might depend on it.
Horrible frauds !! do not use do not use do not use! the equipment is either just made bad or they are using refurbished products.. i bought a unit two years ago today paid 10k and i have had nothing but problems the warranty they give is only 1 year and it doesnt cover any thing ! the customer service is horrible , they are very rude ! do yourself a favor and go with milestone or another company! these people do not care at all ive asked for a head person to call me all they do is text.. one rep called me and hung up in my face because expressing my concerns- my family and i have been in the heat for a week because they dont have parts on hand ... i will be reporting them to the bbb and seeking legal action- i regret entrusting them with such big purchase... do your research people !!! do not hire this company for anything there own contractors spoke negatively because they pay them pennies come do a job which is probably why the equipment doesnt work as it should... its all a ploy to keep getting money!

Stay away from this company!! My warranty company sent them out to expect my AC unit and they recommended that I replace my full unit/coil. I decided to have a secondary opinion from a more reputable company which inspected my unit and said the motor and pressure were fine and that only preventative maintenance was needed. I would have been out $1000’s if I had not gone this route.
I strongly urge anyone considering this company to stay far away. My experience was nothing short of a nightmare. After they replaced my coil, the unit never worked properly. For two long, frustrating months, I made countless calls, pleading with them to come back and fix it. Despite my desperation, they never resolved the issue.The level of unprofessionalism and rudeness I encountered was shocking. The staff spoke to me with such disdain and arrogance that it felt like they had no regard for me as a customer. They couldnt diagnose the problem correctly, leaving me in a state of helplessness and frustration.I felt completely ignored and disrespected throughout the entire process. It was as if they had taken my money and disappeared. Their lack of accountability and integrity is astounding. This company is a pure example of a shady, tricky operation that preys on unsuspecting customers.I cannot stress enough how important it is to avoid this company. Save yourself the stress, money, and emotional turmoil. They will not only fail to deliver on their promises but will also treat you with utter disrespect and disregard. Stay away from this disgraceful excuse for a service provider.
Charged for something they “forgot” to do (didn’t refund) and then when the repair broke down 35 days later refused to come out for follow up. Will not use.
If this company is assigned to you by AHS then i will strongly recommend to request AHS to send a different vendor as they are big fraud. Let me explain you in detail what they will do with you.For any part in your HVAC that is covered by AHS HERITAGE will add on top of it some unnecessary parts which will be not covered by AHS. And then they will charge you ridiculous amount of money for those part for which AHS wont step in. e.g. changing a leaked coil costs $1800-2000 , but for me after AHS covers coil cost and freon cost the additional items that HERITAGE added to bill were $2200! More than the coil itself.I even reached out to HERITAGE and asked that i can buy parts from Home Depot and Lowes and provide it to them and their excuse is we wont take your parts you have to buy parts from us. They are a big scammm.For people curious on how much they are over charging. Freon gas costs $8-15/lb. They have created a bill of $110/lb to fill freon gas in my HVAC. My drain pan is perfect with no damage, new one from retailers (not wholesalers) is for $100-120 and they quoted me $400!AHS will give you hard time to switch vendor once they have visited and diagnosed the issue. So try to not use them at first place.
I have worked with a number of different AC companies in the 5 years i have lived at my home. I guess I was due a great one! I have an older AC unit that has been acting up lately. Heritage AIR and HEAT LLC. has had to come out to my property twice. The first time was to replace an electric board and the second a capacitor. They were efficient, friendly, and explained everything to us. They did NOT try and sell us a new unit or tell us we needed to replace things that didnt need replacing. Which has been our experience in the past with most of the other companies. Our capacitor when out in the evening and they were at are house the next morning to replace.Thank You HERITAGE AIR AND HEAT LLC.! You certainly have our business for life!Ryan
They came today to replace a coil. When I came home the rooms weren’t cooling. Upon investigating, I found the attic unit as shown in the figure. One of the panels was thrown,literally 8 ft from the unit. The AC was sucking air from the hot attic and the entire unit was left open as shown in the picture. This purely shoddy work. This was after they literally ripped me off on the price of refrigerant.
The HERITAGE AIR AND HEAT technician simply worded the repairs so that it would not be covered. There was no basis for a determination of a power surge causing my thermostat to be defective. The technician did not even check my unit. They know power surges are exclusions in the AHS contract and hoped for a bigger payday. I work in the technical industry and know elctronics fail for numerous reasons other than a power surge. So I called Milestone Electric and they Fixed it in a Flash !
This company was used with my warranty service and the assessment and work performed was not done in a professional way. First, they technician came on a Holiday and we had to wait for him to arrive without having a specified time of arrival. Second, he claimed that we had a leak, however when the second technician came to do the repair, the Air Condition is still not working. If you are looking for a service provider to fix your heating and air, I would not recommend this company.
Alfonso from Heritage Air and Heat came to my home to deal with our A/C issue on a unit that’s only 6 years old. He found the problem very quickly and repaired it, immediately. I only needed a new Schraeder valve, thank goodness. He was very courteous and even brought me the defective part. This was after another company that thinks they’re worthy of an “A” and “#1” told me I needed to replace the entire outside unit. A difference in a $5 part and us having to spend $$$$ thousands! Thank you Heritage Air and Heat!!!!

We made a claim from AHS and Heritage came out. Our system is less than 3 years old and the Tech said we had a faulty valve that was causing a pressure imbalance and causing the AC to shut off and not cool the upstairs. This did not fix the issue so we called them about again. The tech said the faulty valve caused the coil to go bad. He then called AHS and told them our system does not have a suction drier fitted so they then denied the claim. We called the manufacturer and they informed us an AC unit does not need a suction drier unless its had a compressor burnout! So we had to call another AC company out at our expense and they immediately recognised the issue. The outside unit vents were clogged with grass and it was stopping the unit sucking in air. The tech should have seen this on his first visit. It also appears the new valve they installed was not pressure tested and did not have sealant tape on it. We now have no Freon in our upstairs unit! So I called Heritage and asked to speak to a tech supervisor but was told by Kaitlin that he is busy in the field and to request a second opinion from AHS. I said I want the tech supervisor to come and inspect his techs work. She said he was busy and she will try to call him to call us. We all know that wont happen! Kaitlin was very poor in her customer service skills and didnt show empathy or understanding! So now we have no choice to pay for another company to come out, rectify the poor workmanship from Heritage and pay almost $1K for Freon!! Absolute nightmare. If you have a choice, which we didnt, please use another HVAC company with better customer service and integrity. They also tried to charge us an out of pocket expense of $1500 even though all parts on our AC are still covered under the manufacturers 10 year warranty.***LOOK AT THE OTHER REVIEWS AND YOU WILL SEE THIS OUT OF POCKET CHARGE IS A TREND FOR THIS COMPANY***9/25/23. We have not received a call from the supervisor as requested! We had to pay another AC company to correctly fix our problem. The filter drier on the unit outside was blocked and had to be replaced. The Freon had leaked out as a result of the valve change that did not need to be changed! We are out of pocket $1300 thanks to Heritage and their misdiagnosis. AHS aware of the issue.
My old AC system finally gave out on me during the Texas summer, of course. Filed a claim with my warranty company and was introduced to Heritage Air and Heat. Warranty company did not come through for me and Heritage Air and Heat did. The next day, Heritage was able to install a new condenser and air handler and get cold air coming back into my house. So incredibly grateful for their responsiveness and care showed to me during this time. Young kids at the house and 90+ degrees inside the house did not make for a fun time. Kudos to Alfonso for taking the lead and his great installers, who worked in my attic for about 3 hours to get the new system installed. They were incredibly professional and hard working. I felt so bad for them while they were working but they didnt miss a beat. Thank you Heritage team!!
Buyer BEWARE....... This company is a complete and total SCAM. In the past 90 days our warranty company American Home Shield (also a scam) sent this company out once because our downstairs unit needed a new condenser which resulted in a $89 copay and $1700 fee to Heritage out of pocket fast forward 3-4 weeks the upstairs unit went out and needed a condenser another $89 copay and over $900 fee to Heritage out of pocket. Here we are less than 30 days after the two service calls and we have no air downstairs. Heritage who told us we had a 1 year warranty, states we need to reach out to American Home Shield and American Home Shield states we need to contact the manufacturer of the condenser for their warranty. We have come to realize Heritage is a 3 star reviewed company and it appears that warranty companies contract companies with low rate which is often those companies with bad reviews. My house was built in November of 2018 so this is not an older house.
After reading some of the reviews I was nervous about getting my ac back on timely especially with this horrible heatwave. I dont know what issues others had and since it seems only upset people leave reviews, I want to take the time to leave a glowing review. My poor ac has been struggling with this heat in an old home and finally gave out on Sunday morning. We put in a claim and AHS assigned Heritage on Monday who called promptly with an appt window on Wednesday. Alphonse was here before noon and quickly diagnosed my blown capacitor and fan motor, had replacements ready with him and had it fixed and cooling within 45 min. He was friendly and efficient and I will definitely be calling Heritage for annual check ups outside of my warranty. Its not my first warranty call on my ac over the years and this was my best experience yet.
Heritage was assigned to me by my home warranty company American Home Shield. It took a couple of days for Heritage to be able to come out. All interactions were professional and courteous. Technician was friendly and showed up at the scheduled time. Problem was diagnosed and was told I needed a new blower motor, however, the technician was concerned about the attic access space (1980s build and it is indeed very tight). The claim was denied due to the attic access so no repair was done.Called someone else out to look at the unit. It was fixed within 45 minutes by the other party. The Heritage technician had misdiagnosed the problem. It was not the blower motor, but an easily replaceable capacitor that retails around $30.3 stars for professionalism, timeliness, and care for their employees’ safety. Definitely not happy about the misdiagnosis, though.
I bought a home that this company had installed a new air handler and compressor in 4 years ago. The plenums were very poorly plastered up and have now started falling, leaving massive gaps in both ends of my unit. They also did not install the air ducts correctly nor the drain line. Do not recommend this company to anyone! Judging by the receipt, you get what you pay for.
Do not use this company. Took 8 visits to have my air running. Only used them as it was through my home warranty. I asked multiple times for the owner to call me and he never did.
Please believe the reviews here before spending any money. I had Same experience as others. They have a scheme going on with the AHS insurance. They installed a faulty refurbished coil that lasted less than a year. It would have cost us an extra 1200 because their labor warranty is only 30 days they said. So we ditched the insurance and had the issue fixed by a local company which of course cost us out of pocket for the work but at least the coil is new this time.
I would rate them zero stars or negative if I could. Read all the other reviews- very unprofessional tech. Shows up and talks rudely and in a condescending manner. The tenant who lives in the property where I was getting service done even requested him to speak less rudely- they claim to work with AHS but will tack on a lot of unnecessary and overpriced charges. Luckily I had another tech available who could give me a clear comparison.- they will tell you that code and permits will be needed when you don’t need them and try to charge you an arm and a leg.- they overcharge your for Freon (2X market)
The tech assessed our equipment and was friendly and knowledgeable enough. Our concern was a leak in our ductwork that we can visualize near the attic door. After convincing him to even step foot in the attic he told us he couldnt get over to the problem area and said their ductwork specialists would need to assess and complete the warranty process. We waited for them to follow up til after the holiday weekend, like he asked but no there was follow-up whatsoever. And come to find out they submitted their complete report with inaccurate information to be rejected that day. Nobody actually looked at the issue so for them to have any kind of complete report is bogus. And by the time we found out the report was submitted it had been past the 7 day period for getting a second opinion. Like many other reviews here, steer clear of doing any business with this company through AHS or otherwise.
The technician arrived at 12:20 on Friday, said he needed a part, showed up again at 7:30, worked for 15 minutes, then said he didn’t need the kit necessary to complete the repair. They’re scheduled to return sometime on Monday. I’m extremely dissatisfied. If this was the way my business was run, we wouldn’t have a business. Also, they’re supposed to be open on Saturday until my. They didn’t answer the phone, so I drove to their business. No one was there, although their voice mail and web site said they were open noon.
Stay away from them.. they must have some shady arrangement with AHS. The Tech came out, couldnt really figure out what was wrong (AC unit was not cooling properly). he said he will request for another specialist to come out the next day. The next day i get a message, they have the diagnosis ready and they need to replace the compressor and my out of pocket expense will be $1300. This same company replaced the compressor 2 years ago. Finally, it turns out just cleaning the condenser coil is all that was needed to fix the issue
They came through American Home Shield and diagnosed it needs coil change and few other things. They went back to AHS and said I will have to pay $2500 (not Heritage problem) but I then called another contractor and got it fixed for $400. They were just trying to run their Payroll on me or have been directed from AHS to get money out of client. In any case, really bad experience.
I normally dont write reviews, however I felt compelled to do so after the exceptional services that we received from Alfonso on Monday. So basically, our AC unit decided to quit on us, just as the Texas heat hit an all-time high. Our family was in panic mode as we werent sure how long it would be before our system was repaired. Luckly after our call for service, Alfonso showed up within a few hours and was able to repair our system quickly and with little down time. I honestly cant thank him enough, he is professional - courteous and was very informative on what needed to be done to get us back on track. Thank you!
My A/C broke down & Heritage was the contractor that our home warranty company sent out. Since my system used the discontinued R22 freon, it would have cost $$$ to repair beyond what the warranty covered. While other A/C companies Id contacted for 2nd opinion, etc just wanted to sell me a new unit, Heritage did not push to sell, but was willing to repair. However since my system was about 20 yrs old, decided to replace the entire A/C system thru Heritage. My contact person Alfonso who initially came out to diagnose was great. He was professional, prompt, detailed with all his explanations. He kept in communication with me throughout the entire process and his install team was hardworking & efficient as well. Overall great experience.
American Home Shield sent this company Heritage Air & Heat to our house. They misdiagnosed a broken valve which seems to be their go to move so they can collect $1100.00 for freon. I ended up not having AC for 12 days in TEXAS where its hot. I finally requested another company to come out. They sent AC Wizard who was excellent. I only needed a thermostat which was an easy fix and it was free. I believe Heritage is unethical and are unprofessional and are the worst...
I had an AMAZING experience with Heritage. I bought a new system through them when my AC finally died.They were able to install my AC the same day which blew my mind. Texas summers are brutal and they fixed my problem immediately. I was beyond grateful they were willing to get me in so quickly.Also, Arnold and Kane were fantastic! They arrived on time and explained everything I was getting with my new system. They were professional and courteous and were so kind to my obnoxious dogs!I can recommend Heritage without hesitation. I will be using them for all my future needs.
I have AHS Warranty and they referred me to Heritage for an A/C Rattling issue. We have an extremely old system so there were some really difficult to find parts but Heritage was able to get everything in and installed in a timely manner. Our technician Alfonso was a really nice guy and did a great job walking us through every step of the process. The support/call center was also very professional and I always received a call and text 30 minutes before a tech would arrive.
Teo was Amazing -he explained everything was very professional and fixed the issue in a timely manner .every lady from their office was always their for me -helping supporting (AC broke at 108 degrees ) letting me know 30 min before they arrive - ii highly recommend them and will keep on using them-great work Yall !
Most incompetent business in air or heating repairs! Unreliable technicians and misdiagnosed my a/c unit. Was told that I needed a new part (compressor) when it was installed in 2019. The tech stated that parts dont last beyond four years. The part was removed and I asked them to return it. It took several weeks for the return. Instead of installing it back to the a/c unit, the tech left the compressor on my patio. Again, the worst of the worst!!!
Do. Not. Hire. Them. Their tech arrived in a combative mood and was on the defensive from the get go. He had come in a week before and replaced the capacitor and claimed it was fixed. When we told him both our units wasnt working, he barked You were the ones who hired AHS not me and stated he couldnt touch anything unless he had a work order for the other unit. A week later, both units are still not working. Another company that we hired came out and said both units had no refrigerants. They also stated that whoever replaced the capacitor knew both units were out of Freon since both the switches had been turned off! They couldnt do anything since it meant detecting a leak in the coil and they did not have the means to do it at the time. Fast forward to today, the same Heritage tech returns and right off the bat yelled You called in a work order only for one unit. After going up to the attic and running out to the units, he came back to state that the other evaporator coil now needed to be replaced. When told about the other unit also not working he threw his hands up and said I have no idea why there is no refrigerant in that one, but I cant help you since you dont have a work order for that one. It is always the same story - blaming the customer and doing a terribly shoddy job. And then he yelled again that we were the ones who went with AHS and that we were yelling at him and he banged the door behind him. And he seemed high - he was stinking of some funky smell. All in all, we are still without air and feeling sick with this shoddy treatment and work.
Great company! From the ladies that I spoke with in the office, to the technician that came out to the house, everyone was very professional and friendly and got the job done without issue. It’s a great feeling to be able sit back in my house and relax without being covered in sweat and miserable on these scorching hot days. Will definitely be using them again in the future!
I had an AHS warranty like many others on here. First AC use of the season and both units are blowing room temp air. Technician was professional and friendly. But that is the only positive. I was told evaporator coils are bad and need to be replaced. Ok, that should be covered by the warranty company right? Then I get the out of pocket cost for replacing just ONE of the evap coils (the warranty company would cover the cost of the evap coil and 10$ per lb of freon r410a).. what is the likelihood that both evaporator coils give out at the same time. I called to ask if they actually looked at the 2nd unit evap coil and received no response. Here is the actual text from Heritage for the costs outside of what the warranty would cover for ONE of the units.“Hi there! We received authorization back from AHS. They will be covering the coil, labor and $10 per pound of refrigerant. The total out of pocket cost due by the customer is: $2,430. This is what they did not cover: FLOAT SWITCH $165, MASTIC/DUCT INSULATION $385, PERMIT $295, SECONDARY DRAIN PAN $395, SEDIMENT TRAP $145, DRAIN LINE $145 AND REMAINING REFRIGERANT $900. Let me know if you would like to proceed with getting your coil replaced, and I can put you on schedule with our installers. For now, I will close this ticket out until I hear back. Thank you!”Decided to get a second opinion as this seemed astronomically high especially given that the warranty company was covering the cost of the coil.Drain pan is new and doesn’t need to be replaced ($395) Drain pan switches are about $18 wholesale (charging $165). Permit is not needed unless it’s a new install ($295) .. wholesale cost for r410a refrigerant is about $400 for a 30lb cylinder. (Charging $900 for 9lbs est)What the F@&& is this? Price gouging at its finest. Don’t treat your customers like they’re idiots.I asked for their TDLR license number and was met with no reply. I plan on filing a complaint.. no better way to ruin your reputation than to completely overcharge your customer and for some items that don’t even need to be replaced.Update 3/10 - I had another company come out and look at the problem. If appears that one of our units does not have a leak. Heritage took the service cap off and did not put it back on. The cap had some oil in it which appears that Freon was moved from one unit to the one that was leaking. I was told both evap coils need to be replaced.. but it seems intentional that the cap would be left off for the other unit to lose Freon.. and also that the Freon was transferred from the good unit to the leaky unit..
Professionalism and honest customer orientedservice . Coming out from a disastrous experience with another HVAC Co, I can only hope to have the service another one with the least or minimal competency and honesty but Heritage Really restored my faith and their accuracy actually may have saved me a lot. Mr. John the Tech I have dealt with very competent and professional with expert diagnosis of the problem. The ladies in the office Stacy and Kelsey made me feel I am in a good hand with utmost respect in addressing my issue. I greatly appreciated my experience.
Had air conditioning service call through AHS. Heritage was unable to find the defect. Called for a follow up and they were rude, declined service, wanted a new ticket and customer service lady hung up on me and would not pick up the phone again. Very unreliable company with no work ethics. Hope I never have to work with them again!

If there were negative stars I would have given it to this shady business. We used them as part of the warranty company. SCAM ALERT. Their repair diagnosis was inaccurate and resulted in the warranty company denying the claim. Even worse, they quoted us $550 to replace a zip tie on the duct. Predatory and unethical practices to say the least. They should be shut down and investigated for unethical practices. We are reporting this scam to the consumers bureau. avoid them at all costs.
We had a cooling issue and AHS contracted us with heritage. I read and reread all the negative reviews on google and definitely built up a bias against heritage even before they started. They diagnosed the issue quickly and ofcourse when you get AHS the first thought is you wouldn’t have to pay anything upfront which is not true with any home warranty provider. Anyways I finally gave heritage a call with my bias in mind. My bias with the bad reviews on google made me to confront them however Laura the office manager was very kind to me. We scheduled the appointment. The crew showed up the next day and reinstalled the coil and got the AC working. Couple weeks after that I followed up and a city inspection was scheduled. Everything went according to the original plan. I am now about two months in after the install and have had the best install team, best support and instant customer service yet. Thank you Heritage.
This company started out great and then disappeared and the owner changed the diagnosis without ever personally seeing my unit. My AC unit went out in July and I called my home warranty, American Home Shield about the outage. They scheduled Heritage Air & Heat to come out. The technician, Alphonso, who came out was very nice and thorough. He answered all of my questions and even some I didnt have. He diagnosed my system and told me that I needed to get the compressor replaced. He mentioned that he would be in touch soon with the repair. The next day he called me back and said he wanted to come back to my house to recheck my HVAC because when he came out it was late and he wanted to make sure he didnt miss anything. He said he talked with the owner of the company and the owner wanted him to check the coil as well. He checked the coil and said that the coil needed to be replaced as well. I never received a follow-up call from Heritage about the diagnosis or repair. After a couple of weeks, AHS said that Heritage had requested to replace the coil and told me the out of pocket cost for code upgrades which was about $860 (which is almost as much as the cost to repair the coil). I asked why they werent fixing or replacing the compressor and AHS said that Heritage didnt say it needed to be repaired and to call them have Heritage request that repair.From July until now I have not received a phone call from Heritage Air telling me why they changed my diagnosis. I have received about 4 texts saying that they will either call me back or they dont know a technician will have to call and I never receive a call. I know companies for home warranties are asked to keep the cost down but this seems like a ripoff and the most unprofessional customer service I have ever received. I have 2 daughters and for the hottest part of the summer, I was without A/C in my house in the main living area downstairs. I have never had a company not return a phone call and this has been going on for 3 months. All I wanted to know is why they changed the diagnosis on my 25-year-old HVAC unit to only replacing the coil when the technician explained to me 2 times that the compressor definitely needed to be replaced. I had no problem with the technician, Alphonso, and thought he was knowledgeable and wanted to do the right thing for me but the owner seems to want to run the company to benefit the home warranty and not the customer. Do not go with this company if you want to receive basic customer service or an owner that puts the customers needs as a priority.

Came home the other day and one of our two AC systems was not cooling. Called Heritage Air and Heat, got on their schedule as soon as they could. Only had to wait 3 days as this time of year AC companies are swamped. Ronnie showed up promptly after notification, inspected the attic and outside units and took care of the issue in about 20 mins. He waited a while longer to make sure the unit(s) were working as they should, completed the paperwork and went to his next customer. Very Professional, Friendly, Knowledgeable! Had Heritage Air and Heat come out to the house to check out our AC system (American Home Shield approved contractor). Upon arrival the technician went into the attic for no more than 2 minutes and and walked outside. I went out to meet him to see what he found and the ONLY thing he did was try to sell me a complete unit. Did not fix anything, just tried to sell me a unit. When I told him that I wasnt interested in purchasing a new unit using his 60 months, no interest financing, he told me I was 3 pounds of freon low and it would be $75 per pound. Prior to this, I had a friend of mine that owns an AC company come out to check it. He gave me his diagnosis and the charge to repair. Why didn;t I use him?? Well, I paid or AHS Home warranty and feel they should pay for the repair. Anyway, I called Heritage and explained what happened and they assured me they would send a supervisor out. Well, a supervisor did not come out. Another Tech showed up with a bad attitude. He now said that we are 1 pound low and offered to sell another complete system. If you are in the market to just buy a new system, Heritage might be the way to go, but if you want a reputable company to come out and actually tell you what the true issue is with your system, THIS COMPANY IS NOT FOR YOU!!!!!
Was given this company through AHS like many others. Their techs were fine and they correctly diagnosed and repaired our compressor successfully.However everything else was probably some of the worst, most incompetent service Ive encountered in a while. Save yourself the frustration. Please. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances. I would strongly suggest you consider the cash option and seeking your own local trustworthy professional reliable AC company.
Amazing service! Alfonso (technician) came out on Friday to diagnose our AC failure for upstairs unit. Another company tried to sell us on a new unit. Alfonso diagnosed a bad capacitor. He replaced capacitor, checked pressures and then proceeded to make sure our filters were good. We didnt ask him to do any of the others just to fix our AC. Alfonso was very knowledgeable and very professional. I highly recommend Heritage Air and Heat to my friends and family.
Our experience with Heritage has been terrible. I took off of work because they only work 9am-2pm. Technician came and looked at our HVAC unit for about 2 minutes and said we were low on freon. After adding a pound, the unit was supposedly fixed. Wrong, the unit couldnt get below 80 degrees but the technician didnt bother to check his work. Calling back the next day, the earliest they could come back was several days away, which Id have to take off work for again. Unfortunately, not everyone can just take off work several days or only work 5 hour days like Heritage.Our only option was to wait for the next Saturday, with over a week with 80+ degree temperatures in our home. Finally when the technician came, the technician again spent a few minutes checking the unit (didnt even bother going in the attic) and told us the fan motor is bad. Couldnt fix it again because they need to order the part and that I need to take off work when they get the part. When asked how they missed this repair last week, he just shrugged.Everything about the way Heritage operates is whats best for them. Limited hours of operation, get in and out as fast as possible, guess at what the problem is. Think you want to talk to someone in management? Good luck. When asked for someone today, they told me it would be a few days until someone can talk to me. Never again.
Heritage was contracted via American Home Shield. Heritage contacted me to confirm and to verify service requested. When tech arrived he was very professional. John is an awesome tech. He is friendly and knowledgeable. John knows his job and does it. He checked everything. Including things I didnt ask just to ensure that the unit was working correctly, at no charge. I definitely recommend Heritage. Theyre awesome. John is the go to tech. Thank you Heritage and John for such an awesome experience.
Horrible, dealt with them twice. Technician first told me the ac unit was tripped. 2nd time he wouldnt do his job because he stated he couldnt communicate with the system because the thermostat was not working and left. Stated he would come back tomorrow since his schedule was too hectic.
I had filed the claim through AHS and they responded. They came out and instead of fixing my HVAC system, they messed it up further. They told me that my system was running low on freon and it would need 2 pounds of freon. They overcharged the system and managed to mess it up. They never shared any numbers of the system (PSI, SC etc.) and not even the invoice for the $200 which they charged me for the so called 2 pound freon. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. If you are a home owner and if warranty company assigns them to you for any HVAC needs, call and CHANGE it right away. I would never ever deal with them. VERY BAD business tactics.
Alfonso was very professional from the start.He came to my house and immediately after addressing the problem made my anxiety go away. He only took 20 min to fix a problem that two other companies completely missed. Alfonso is an asset to this company, would definitely recommend every time.
As is the cliché: I was skeptical when my home warranty company dispatched this company to fix my issue. However, Heritage Air & Heat delivered as promised. Within 2 hours of receiving my request, a technician was on his way to my house to fix my problem. The technician was courteous, professional, complied with all Covid protocols under his own accord, and fixed my problem in record time.If AHS dispatches this company and the first thing you do is check their ratings in order to prepare yourself for disappointment, then I hope this report of a 5 star experience brings you some comfort.
This company was sent through our home warranty company. I have to say I was pleasantly suprised how quickly they scheduled me in. Same day service for a repair on my outside AC unit in the month of June. Chris the tech was prompt in arriving, very knowledgeable and professional. Would definitely recommend this company to neighbors and friends.
They have inexperienced professional as per my personal experience. They sent someone who said electrical issue which was turned out to be wrong. Electrical person came and said no issue with electricity. Then again someone else came from Heritage air and heat and mentioned that compressor and circuit board to be replaced. This was also wrong diagnosis where they reported that only compressor to be replaced. Every steps they have gone wrong. I will never and ever use this company. They have wasted not just time and also given me so much stress with all these hiccups with wrong diagnosis.
BUYER BEWARE Heritage heat and air told us they could clean out our AC for 90 dollars. I saved the text message. Several days later a manager contacted us saying Alfanso who came to our home should have not told us he could clean it out under the table for 90 dollars and that the cost was 250. After being lied to I cannot even be sure they did their job right. That was 4 days I could have had another company come out that I trust. The room this AC goes to in my house is a room my elderly, bed ridden mother is in. Nurses come to care for her. She has had to endure hot temps because they lied to us. The AC was cleaned out by another company but they said the AC should have been looked over and tested. They said the unclean system had nothing o do with it not working.Heritage did nothing to check the system. We have cameras on that side of our home and the show nothing.(NEW INFO>) Another AC company came out called AC wizard. They said we were missing all of our coolant in the AC. Heritage heat and air told us they found nothing wrong with the AC.
This is our second time dealing with this Company through our warranty, I have never had a 5 Star service with ANY contractor through my warranty Company, as I have with Heritage! From the office staff, the Manager Laura, the technician, John all very caring, listened to my issues and had me up and running same day as I placed the ticket. Thank you all very much!
Teo the technician from Heritage Air is absolutely fantastic in both understanding the problem and in fixing it. He also talks so politely and makes you feel real good that the problem has been solved. Very very customer focused - great great service. He literally came on a Saturday to fix the heater and he did it. We were otherwise freezing in the bedroom. I out in the work order late on Friday so was concerned that nobody would show up until Monday or so. It’s amazing they responded so quickly and fixed the issue. Highly recommend Heritage and Teo !!
Critical update: Heritage said they tested our AC and said it was just dirty. We had the AC cleaned and AC Wizard came out and said our evaporator coil was open and AC refrigerant was gone. They said this is not something thats just missed when servicing or diagnosing. They dont understand how Heritage missed this.(BEFORE UPDATE) BUYER BEWARE Heritage heat and air told us they could clean out our AC for 90 dollars. I saved the text message. Nurses come to care for her. She has had to endure hot temps because they lied to us.Shes a heavy women and is not easily moved.We had the AC cleaned by another company that said thats was not what was wrong with the AC. Yeo showed up this morning while I was riding my bike and by the time I got home, the AC was fixed. In the past, just about every company that AHS used seemed to be a bunch of crooks. Heritage shows me that there are other companies out there that are professional and do not try to sell you other things. I had a company once that told me I had to replace my Freon and as you know AHS only gives you $10.00 per pound so I had to pay almost $700.00 just for Freon, the system broke again and they wanted to charge me again for it. I just want to say Thank You Teo and Heritage.
NHello Im writing because Im very disappointed in the service from the office to the technician. On 25 MAY22 technician came out and assessed the downstairs unit. Stated it needs new compressor. After almost two weeks the compressor allegedly came in and on 7JUNE 22 technician came out replaced 5 ton compressor. On 8JUNE22 after compressor was replaced the home still had not cooled off temperatures still at 80-88 degrees in home. I called spoke to Megan and another office clerk and they sent another technician out. He found that the fan was out and not supporting the Compressor, so it needed new fan. 7 days later technician came out 14june22 replaces fan and I gave it about 24hrs and house still did not cool temperatures still 80-85. I called the office and spoke to Megan and she stated that someone will be at your hone today 16june22 between 9-5, well that didnt happen. I called at 1600 to find out that the office was closed. What a disappointing thing and as Im writing Jr shows up. The compressor is shot yet I dont understand why he needs ti wait another day to be sure. He did ever test to check and the results is the compressor is still bad. So I dont see why it cant be changed instead if putting my family another two nights in this heated houseQuestion how many times do a customer have to change their schedule to accommodate a repair man. I should have Bern first on the list Saturday morning to get a filter put on the compressor since Jr stated it only takes 30 minutes now Im on the verge of missing my FATHERS DAY BRUNCH waiting on this tech. Its really sad that from May 25th until now I still dont have Air and it takes this long to fix it
Booked them through AHS warranty. The technician was scheduled to arrive between 4-5 pm. I got a text from the company saying they were closing the office at 3 that said the tech was wrapping up in Plano and would be by me within 1-1.5 hours. I waited until 5:20 and then left to pick up my son at daycare. The technician, Wade, called me at 5:35 to tell me he was at my house. I said I would be home in 10 min. He was here maybe 10-15 min. He left my house before 6 pm. He said the flame sensor was dirty and that he cleaned it. He didn’t bother to check the thermostat again or stick around to make sure it was working. Surprise, surprise, it’s not. The temp when he arrived was 60 and less than 2 hours later it dropped to 59. Not to mention he had the nerve to ask me to write a review before he left. Here’s you review, Wade. I did my part, too bad you didn’t.Needless to say, I contacted another company as I’d rather pay out of pocket than call heritage back. Also, should be noted this happened during one of the coldest weeks in Dallas/Rockwall history with a forecasted high temp of 15 on Monday.
I rarely write reviews but felt a need to after having a coil replaced today in my AC unit. From the initial diagnosis to the completion of the work, Heritage was top notch to work with. My installer Harlen was a rock star....considerate, professional, personable and fast! I would do business with Heritage again.
I bought the house in december and property inspection and pointed out that the hvac does not work as expected. As summer came and i had to use the ac i called the home warranty and they send heritage tech ;now they are charging 1050+75 for fixing the first floor hvac; still not sure how much i will spend again for my second floor hvacIt is absolutely difficult to believe that the air conditioner was fine when they did the inspection it just shows the lack of skills from the technicianwell i am updating this a year later and think my rating was harsh. whatever they fixed for my first floor their diagnosis was correct and it is working fine... the second floor still does not work so i am keeping it 3 stars
DO NOT USE!!!! I had my AC off when tech arrived as it was not blowing cool air. Turned it on at his request. He checked the air blowing out of a downstairs vent and went out to the outside unit and the fan and compressor was on. From this he decided that there was nothing wrong. Even though the unit was making a weird sound AND the fact that I had relayed that I woke up sweating from it blowing warm air. I had already paid $125 to even schedule the appointment through the home warranty company. With the air turned on all day and NEVER turning off, the temp in my house dropped maybe one degree. At this point, I decided to call someone else and just pay out of pocket. They immediately diagnosed the issue...the horrible sound was worn out fan bearings which was causing the fan not to work properly, which then was causing a myriad of other problems. Within a couple of hours, the supposedly “non-existent” problem had been diagnosed and fixed at a very reasonable price by an HONEST company.It comes down to either 1) they don’t know what they are doing, or 2) it was a home warranty issue and they were not honest. I do know having them come was a complete waste of time...time that very possibly caused further damage to my AC unit. BEWARE!!!!!
Misguided and careless service. Tech said, need to replace coil to fix the issue, it will take 7+ days or replace the full system it will take 1 day. He turned off the system and left me with quotes. I am fortunate with great neighbors and friends. They suggested me to check with independent contractor. Most likely this is drain related issue. I reached out to HERITAGE, they told me it will take up to 7 days to get the approval from AHS. So, I reached out to AHS, they told me they are waiting on HERITAGE to upload the paper. After 4 days, I have decided to call independent contractor. As per independent contractor, primary drain is blocked and secondary drain was up side down that’s why water was leaking. He was able to fix the issue within reasonable time. Just to clarify I don’t blame HERITAGE’s Tech Guy; I believe this is HERITAGE’s business strategy to rip off Home Owners and made money. It is also possible they have deal with AHS. I am glad I have great friends and Thanks to Almighty. Please stay away from HERITAGE until they change their business strategy.Note - Follow up response. Thank You Admin for responding. I appreciate your response. I will let Google User decide who was careless and who was victim of greed & bad business strategy. AHS sent you work order on Saturday., As per your timeline Tch was onsite Monday, you got approval on Tuesday and you sent me text on Wednesday noon to schedule on next week due to Holiday! Weekend excuse, policy excuse, Office Hour excuse. Guess What We live in Texas and this is Summer time. In your response I dont see any empathy for your customer who is living without AC in hot weather. Again I dont blame you either because its your business. Nothing personal right! I blame poor business strategy! If you can acknowledge and try to resolve then God Willings your business will grow!Q is - what you would have done if you were me in this context? Would you just wait uncertain time for Heritage or AHS s mercy in this hot weather? How come independent contractor were able to fix the issue in 20 mins, but your technician could not fix, instead he had to turn off the AC and left me with quote? Indeed I got text from you and if i share the text and pricing. Independent contractor charged me 15% of your price! So you do the math! Do you think it would be good for your business? Guess what! Your techs diagnosis was wrong. Thats fact! I am lucky and Many Many Thanks to Almighty, independent contractor was able to stopped by within 2 hours notice after 5 PM and resolved the issue within 20 minutes. If you had good resource then your tech guy could resolve the issue on Monday Morning in 20 minutes! That didnt happen! So Yeah Good For You! Just so you know, I have been with AHS for 5 years. This was my very first service call. And they screwed! Because of this, I am in process to cancel the policy.
Heritage Air and Heat was professional, timely, and resolved the issue FAST!!! They managed the entire service call via email, texts, and by phone. I never wondered what the step would be, or when it would it occur. They did what they said they would do. Teo was professional, pleasant, and knew his job. What a fantastic experience!! Excellent service and prompt response. I left a voicemail overnight regarding cooling issue in my home. I had a technician out the following day. I had a faulty capacitor to my down stairs unit. Technician Replaced, checked pressures and we were back in business. Thank you Heritage Air and Heat for being my company of choice.
Horrible customer service. They identified the problem on Monday, said they would get the part needed to fix on Tuesday. No one picked up the part. When I called Heritage to inquire about whether or not they picked up the part they lied and told me the part was back ordered and had no idea when it would come in. I drove to the distributor in Garland MYSELF and inquired about said part. I was told they had plenty in stock. I notified Heritage of this. Now here it is Thursday and air conditioner still not fixed and no appointment and not on schedule. I went through American Homeshield. Beware of this company. They lie just to keep pushing out getting anything fixed.
Heritage Air and Heat is an amazing company. I called American home shield on Tuesday and Heritage was out Wednesday. This was a blessing considering 104 degree temps. The icing on the cake was Alfonso (technician). Alfonso was extremely professional and explained all that he did to our HVAC to get us back in running. Alfonso will BE our technician of choice. Heritage is extremely fortunate to have such an amazing asset. We will gladly refer Alfonso with Heritage Air and Heat to our friends and family.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANYI’m not sure who you’re paying to clean up your reviews because these can not be legit reviews.Teo is the most inexperienced HVAC guy I’ve ever dealt with and is not qualified to work on AC units. Or any other thing in a house you care about.This whole interaction started because I filed an AC claim with my home warranty company. I know but it just gets better.... Teo arrives and immediately goes to my outdoor unit only asked to see my thermostat inside for like a minute. He diagnosis I need a new compacitor and happens to have one on his truck which he tells me he replaces and even shows me what is supposed to be the old one after he supposedly replaced it. Then... he proceeds to tell me I have filter issues on my outside unit that requires him to flush all the old Freon out and replace it with the 2020 state required Freon and my parts and labor will be covered but not the Freon. He has to order a part. So the cost of Freon will be almost 1000.00. What he doesn’t know is that this is the 4th time since these requirements came out that I’ve been told the same thing for 1k to find out I don’t have to flush my whole system and replace with the new. There is compatible Freon that is half the price and no flushing is required, just add what is needed. But the best part is I asked him to check the attic part he said no he diagnosed the problem outside. I’ve been in this house since it was built 15 years ago and have never had an AC guy that didn’t start in the attic. HUGE RED FLAG. My friends refer me to an HVAC guy they’ve used for 20 years turns out the 1000.00 for the Freon would’ve been a temporary fix had he went up in the attic like I asked he would’ve realized it was a coil issue and probably make this company more money and saved me a 1000.00 expense that was a bandaid. And the topping on the cake.... the compacitor had rust on it and is suspected to be the original one and the repair he was going to charge the warranty company for wasn’t needed except to flush the Freon to add new.Yes I’ve contacted my warranty company and they are removing this company from all future service calls.Please contact me to tell me which company you pay for high ratings on google. There is no way you deserve a 4.9 rating. You must pay a WHOLE lot for this online reputation. I can’t be the only person this has happened to with this inexperienced tech that didn’t even take the time to look in my attic. Can’t imagine how lazy he is when it’s 110 outside instead of 80.
Terrible terrible terrible. Completely avoid this company even if your home warranty is sending them. They misdiagnosed our AC issues 7 times and we have been without AC for 2 weeks now in the Texas summer heat, they promised a supervisor to come Monday morning but the same incompetent technician came at 7 pm and had new diagnoses for AC once again! Avoid avoid!
We had Jimmy come out to our home after a Jerryfew companies made appointments and never showed .Jimmy came in took care of the issue and had us rolling in no time .He made sure everything was working before he left .Also came on a Sunday in less than a 2 hour time frame .Great customer service. AHS dispatch Heritage Air and Heat to my home. Tech said compressor bad wouldnt come on. But the unit was full of R22. The estimate came to $960.00 over what AHS would pay. When tech said I needed12 lbs. Of the new r407c I thought how could that be. The unit only holds4.5 lbs.So I got a second tech to look at the unit. He found a bad wire at the compressor fixed it unit came on. But no r22 in it. Tech said value was left open and cap left off let the r22 leak out. I dont trust this company.
Just wanted to say Wow! I called American Homeshield on Tuesday night because our AC upstairs stopped blowing cold air. We have 3 young children, one with Asthma. The very next day, Heritage Air and Heat shows up at our door to fix. Alfonso (technician) was the most accurate, professional, best mannered service tech we have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. He fixed our AC and our babies were able to be comfortable in their rooms. Our family highly recommends Heritage Air and Heat.
Alfonso was amazing! I needed a quick visit and they were able to accommodate me. He was kind and through. I definitely will be returning if I need them in the future.

My air conditioner just stopped working. I’m on oxygen 24/7. It’s a Saturday morning and It’s been raining today and no one wanted to come take a look at what might be wrong. Teo came within 2 hours of our call. He had the a/c back up and running within ten minutes. I can’t say enough good things about this company. We won’t hesitate to call them if something happens again.
I have AHS and Heritage changed my blower motor. Within few months, the problem is back and motor is broken again. So, either the motor was not replaced or replaced with a old one.
Great communication from the girls in the office, called me when Chris was on his way! Chris arrived promptly covered his shoes with booties and proceeded to look at my units in the attic. Located a bad capacitor in a few minutes, unit was back on but he also checked the outside unit and found another questionable capacitor and promptly replaced it. Fantastic overall experience highly recommended!
Extremely knowledgeable and professional!!! The owner personally drove out of his way to help me when I had issues with my AC and thermostat. They diagnosed the problem and corrected it in a matter of minutes. Highly recommend this company for ALL of your AC and heating needs. I will only do business with Heritage in the future!
The worst experience ever, not professional technician and super rude. I called office immediately and asked to talk to manager. Still waiting for manager give me a call after several days but no call yet. Again I would not recommend this company at all because of hostility and non-professional behavior of the technician and I wish I could give less than one star for my review. Do a favor to yourself and avoid this company even if your home warranty is assigning them to you, just call AHS and ask for another company.
They deserve 10 stars. They are the best service company that I’ve ever used. Alphonso Alba is the most knowledgeable, respectful, kind technicians that I’ve ever met. I trust him and Heritage completely!!
Extensive work done with only a 90 day warranty and now the upstairs AC unit is leaking which we have to pay another service call. Call was to be expedited for same-day service and no one showed up.
Still waiting on service since October...AHS says they told them they called me but I have no records of any missed call or voice mail... they came and fix my a/c for same issue before, this same year... and apparently I still have a leak when I was told it was repaired... I spent over 1500 with them already and it went out again... makes no sense... it seems everyone on here that has issues with them is also with AHS... I just want my unit fixed and not lied too please. I will change my review once I see something. I will call AHS again for the who knows how many time tomorrow...my husband is a disabled veteran and he just wants to have a/c when it gets hot again.. he cant be suffering anymore.
On time, technitions did what they said they were going to do. Quick diagnosis and quick fix. Saved me some money. All around good experience. Office staff was the greatest! 5 stars! Yes I would recommend Heritage air and Heat of Rockwall!
They are completely incompetent. I have an AC and Heating split unit and American Home Shield (AHS) sent them. The AC and Heating unit was not working as a small 4 to 6 inch snake got fried on the mother board. All they had to do was to remove the fried snake and put in some Freon, which another non AHS contractor did and the unit works fine. AHS does a bad job in keeping these contractors. AHS said rodents are not covered. Shame on both the Contractor and AHS. It was sheer incompetence on part of both AHS and this contractor.
Stay away. The completely misdiagnosed the repair and wanted to charge $2k instead of $200. On top of that they partner with American Home Shield and try to pile on various charges that arent covered under the warranty contract. Stay away from their code upgrade verbiage
We had a perfectly functioning system that began to display an error message, we have now had FIVE service calls, hundreds of dollars and one week after yet MORE parts have been replaced, we have NO HEAT, with lows in the 30s. And have been told my wife and young daughters will just have to wait a few days. Maybe someday someone will call, and Fix the problem that apparently has been created.

Heritage was on time and very professional. I have 3 small children and Heritage fixed my AC in a matter of 10 minutes. I was very grateful and will call Heritage again and refer them to friends and family.

John was very professional and quite personable. Above all else he was knowledgeable about our AC units and worked through issues while explaining in terms a “normal homeowner” can understand. We appreciate that very much.
The tech was here less than five minutes today. When I asked any questions at all, he got agitated and said something about a frozen item and that he could not do any work. He wouldnt even come in and check the inside. He left in a huff spouting about how I shouldnt be asking these questions and that I didnt respect his opinion. He left and when I called the company they refused to send someone else. Do not use Heritage Air and Heat LLC from Rockwall.
Unit freezing up, said bad coil, replaced froze up again, leaked again before I replaced pan , ruined ceiling. I feel they are partially responsible for damages due to new part causing severe leakage.
Heritage air and heating people are working and they dont know what they are doing and they say its wrong diagnosis by previous guy.I wouldnt recommend Heritage air. Very poor quality and service, they dont know what they are doing. They do Trail and error. Horrible job.
DO NOT go for heritage air and heat. Got an appointment with them through American Home Shield and they didn’t even show up even though it was a huge emergency. The house is at 90 degrees and John did not even show up.

This is one of the worst companies we have ever dealt with. It was a part of home insurance vendor list. They overbilled both on the client side and as well as the insurance side. They charge for permits for HVAC work, even after the city doesnt require them.BEWARE OF ANY SERVICE WITH THESE GUYS!
The two technicians John and Alfonso who came out to my house were very professional and did good quality work. I would recommend them to anyone and would be calling them back if I have any other issues with my unit.

I always used them every time i have AC and heater problem. The Technician Teo is very professional and very quick in troubleshooting. I am always very satisfied.
For the last 2 month, they have been to my place for more than 8 times. They fix the AC and leave without even talking to the home owner. And within minutes the AC stops working.
Run away from this place, they broke down my downstairs AC as opposed to fixing it. Overcharged on Freon, got someone else to diagonose found that it was not even the issue.
Our freon was leaking. Turned our to be a leaking coil. The team came out and had us back up and running in no time. Great service.

Had a problem with ac they came in and diagnose fan motor wasn’t working and I ask them chk everything else like Freon gas and compressor tech said everything else in good shape replaced fan motor and it didn’t work next day called bk new tech came said low on Freon and also compressor not workingI said previous tech from ur co said everything looks good he said I don’t know what he said tech was veryUnprofessional co is suck.... guys be careful....

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Took almost 3 weeks to come out, then came out and said oh we can’t get a part. Waited another week, then supposedly fixed it.. about 4 weeks later it’s not working again! Don’t use!!! Never once got an apology or anything that is professional of customer service!

Our tech arrived promptly for the scheduled appointment. He was courteous and very professional.
Started the project in May with heritage ran out of freon three times, three times they were back out 2 patch the same free online and then on the fourth try told me I needed a new compressor and that it needed a new compressor cuz of my negligence running the compressor out of freon was my fault then propose to charge me or a new compressor charge me $20 / the price for a city inspection when they only had two ask for it online instead of going down to the city not a good experience at all
