Took my 2015 Benz c300 to this shop heard a lot of good things about them just not sure about there honesty in doing business with my issue was regarding a whining noise and belt repair the car was driving fine and no electric issues or power shorts Creekside charging $1500 for an alternator replacement explaining is likely due to a combination of factors including: a high-end replacement part, a complex installation process specific to our car model, additional necessary repairs and high labor costs at the shop, or potentially overcharging; a typical alternator replacement should generally cost significantly less, usually between $350 - $500 I feel like I was taking advantage of here please check process else where and shop around before agreeing to a them fixing your car I may be wrong but thought this was significant higher to replace my alternator

I went to get battery replaced. Again, Jory was most knowledgeable and helpful. So was Chuck. Learned a few things from them too about my hybrid batteries. Wonderful human beings working at Creekside Automotive. So convenient and fast. Yall saved my Christmas! Thanks for the shuttle service, Chuck! And Jory, please say hi to Nate for me. Was here from out town left vehicle for three days . They said would be done knowing we lived hours away we show up and they didn’t even touch it/ and said sorry to bad. Did not care that now we have to go back another 3 hrs home then 3 hrs back again because it will be ready , “Monday” he lied right to our face and cost us 3 days and 6 additional hours of drive time and extra cost for a rental. TERRIBLE customer service initially the owner did apologize, the issue was fixed at the end of the day but not at the time frame promised.

Needed a steering wheel replaced on my F-150. They were able to replace the wheel in just a little over 1 hour & it looks great!! Great local auto shop!

Had an issue with my car while in town visiting family for Christmas. They were able to get us in and fix it very quickly. Thanks again!

Highly recommend this shop!The most knowledgeable and honest shop around.Chuck is a great guy and will take care of you. I have taken my vehicles to him for years. Always does a great job.He also knows how to modify cars for better performance if thats what you are looking for.

This is the place/professionals we entrust both of our very high mileage cars to and have for almost 5 years. Every visit we have they provide detailed, honest explanations about the needed repairs without adding unnecessary repairs. We will continue to use and recommend this business for now and any future cars we purchase.

Warning!!! SCAM Mechanic. This shop will rip you off!!! PLEASE READ and BEWARE!!This shop quoted my elderly neighbor, lil ole lady on a fixed income, $5200+ to fix her car.Surprise!!! It cost less than $600 to repair at another shop!PROBLEM A- Vehicles A/C was not working, blowing hot air.QUOTE -So this clown (Chase Taylor) quoted a kit replacement (Compressor, condenser, etc) from Autozone that they were going to charge $1293.98 for the part.... I can go in and buy from Autozone for $660. (See pics) - Plus $750 labor (5hrs labor is too much AND very high labor rate for the area)- NONE OF WHICH WAS NEEDEDFIX- Replaced leaking valve (pic-$14) and evac/charged with new Freon. A/C blows Ice Cold!PROBLEM B- Vehicle shakes when you apply the Brakes.QUOTE- Again this 🤡 quoted for nearly complete replacement of the front suspension main components on both sides. 🤦‍♂️ $1200+ in parts and another $1400+ in labor. Again, NONE OF WHICH WAS NEEDED.FIX- Replaced front Brake pads and Rotors.Note: If she had used Creekside Automotive for the repair... the freon would have leaked out in a month or so AND the shaking would have persisted and the car would still need rotors and pads.Like the rest of their responses....I am certain the response to this review will be argumentative, deflect and blame someone/anyone else ....RUN AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!P.S. Charged her $130 for the poor diagnostic....pathetic.

Been looking for a mechanic that could take their time with my mom’s car and finally found one with Creekside. Will be returning for anything mechanic related even if just the basic oil change.

I have had repair work done here twice, on my 30+ year old car, both times the work was done correctly and within a few days, costs are about what you would normally expect, but there is a minimum diagnostic charge of $125 so keep that in mind. My overall experience here has been positive.

The service was great they did great work. I had the replace my 20q5 f150 3.5 twin turbo motor with a new one it was a long block install. They do take there time but its worth it and the get it done right. The price was fair and as long as it runs like it is im very happy . Thank you creekside you did a great job awesome

Great experience. My truck has not been running well since the pandemic started. Its a 2008 F150, and I was ready to put her out of her misery as sad as it would be for me. I really like my truck and finding a good mechanic can be daunting. Thats why I just let it sit for a long time. Then I saw their flyer in the val pack and decided why not let them see whats going on and do a diagnostic.I am glad I did, now its running better than ever. Chase made the whole process easy for me. He doesnt know it but he is my new best friend. Thank you Chace and your people there at Creekside.

I highly recommend Creekside Automotive. They are extremely knowledgeable, and their customer service is amazing. They kept me updated on my repair and had my car back to me within 24 hours. Very honest and highly recommended.

These guys are the absolute best. They helped patch up my Acura. Throughout the process they were honest, transparent, and very communicative. If you live anywhere close here and have car problems, this is where you need to come.

Wouldnt take our car and truck to anyone else! They fixed our squeaky Fusion and its all better now :) Our Ford truck had issues, the dealership is far away. I would rather work with local businesses and these guys work to find the problems.

Chase has been so patient with my aging car and it’s many problems. He’s gone above and beyond with pricing and overall friendliness. I’m usually intimidated by car stuff and the approachability of the staff and environment and I’ve felt nothing but welcome and looked after every time I come here.

Chase just looked at the vehicle. Super honest guy. He said the alternator was working fine and the problem was with the battery. He could have sold me the alternator and make money. I appreciate his honesty and definitely will be back again.

Best shop in Rowlett, Im actually driving my 1999 Avalon on the daily thanks to these guys. They repaired my front suspension that had become a driving hazard. They went the extra mile and replaced the rear struts in order to get comfort and reliability on the road. Fast and honest service. Walk-ins are welcomed!

Went to Firestone and got charged way too much. These guys quoted me half what Firestone did and were really friendly. Worth going to if you can spare a day or two for the bigger repairs - your wallet will thank you.

The BEST shop Ive ever worked with. Chuck is salt of the Earth. Ive lived in Rowlett for over 20 years and Creekside is hands down the best out there. They are fast, affordable and deliver quality work. You wont get ripped off by this shop. They will always have my familys business.

I have been using this local Rowlett shop for several years to service and maintain my truck. They have always performed the services on time and at a fair price. And also delivered my truck back to me in the same condition I left it. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

We started bringing our vehicles to Creekside 9 years ago and wold not even consider going anywhere else!Gary and his staff are honest and forthcoming with us. The not only make sure our vehicles are fixed right the first time, they also watch over them and tell us if there is anything else that needs attention.... no piling on services... just honesty and sincerity.their prices are pretty much better than any others when we have checked... always go back to Gary and the crew!

Spoke to Chase. $290 to diagnose a 2003 Infiniti and the dealer charges $120. Not to mention he said the job would cost anywhere between $600 and $3500. I hope the rating goes down and people see this review. One of the biggest scam artist Ive seen in my life. Do not pay prices like this people. All I needed was my key reprogrammed.

Someone attempted to steal our vehicle and damaged the ignition housing. Creekside Automotive made the whole ordeal so much less stressful. They were fast (we had our vehicle the next day), and significantly more affordable than anyone else around. I am so appreciative of their quick and honest work.

Chuck and his team were great! They took care of my Subaru when another shop couldnt. Their prices were reasonable and I will definitely return.

I took my 2014 Ford F150 to another highly recommended auto shop here in Rowlett and got a quote for work. After I got my highly overpriced quote I called Creekside and spoke to Chuck (great guy). He gave me a quote over the phone for what I asked for and it was HALF of the other shops price. I took my truck in, Chuck went over what I had asked for and realized most of it I did not need. We discussed my options and I still walked out paying less and getting extra work on something I had not planned on doing. My point is this, Chuck will give you great work at a fair price. He is honest about what you do and do NOT need. He does not over sell extras and provides a great service..Highly recommend you see him for you auto repair needs !

My father had been a regular customer at Creekside Automotive for maintenance and repair needs. On his last visit he met the new management at Creekside Automotive to get his driver side door checked since it wont open. The new management recommended door trim parts replacement for over $450. My father told them he could not afford $450 or more at the time. They told him they can repair the door for $185 without part replacement. He agreed to have the door repair for $185. Creekside Automotive could not repair the door and charged him $185. Creekside Automotive refused to refund the money and told my father to return the same day. My father went back but they couldnt repair the door the second time. They refused to refund and told him that he would have to replace the door parts for the door to open. Creekside Automotive knew they could not repair the door but wanted to make a quick $185 and now want my father to take the vehicle back so they can charge for door part replacement. It is unfortunate that the new management at Creekside Automotive knowingly made misleading statements about the need for parts, replacement and repair service.RE: Response from the ownerWe wanted the refund because Creekside Automotive couldn’t do the job twice which does not instill confidence that they can do the job the third time. Creekside Automotive charged $185 to fix the door which they failed to fix. There was no balance remaining after my father paid $185 in full to Creekside Automotive which is another example of misrepresentation after knowingly making misleading statements about the need for parts, replacement and repair service which doesn’t sound like a good business. Why would anyone pay your business to just open the door and not fix the door? A good business offers to fix the problem and honor the six month guarantee it claims and not slip in “balance remaining” after being paid in full. A good business does not commit to repair jobs they don’t have the ability to complete.

Every time I’ve come here to get my car fixed I’ve always had excellent experiences with them and very respectful service. Never had any issues and have always been honest with me and fixed any of my automotive needs. Amazing service highly recommend

I have been using Creekside Automotive for years. I have taken foreign and domestic cars and trucks for maintenance and repairs. The are always helpful , competent and most of all honest. I would recommend them to anyone.

Chuck was highly recommended by google so i took a chance. He did an awesome job on my new engine and on my ignition switch. He was able to give a reasonable price.

Best place by far. Had taken my truck to 2 dealerships prior and neither could tell me what was wrong. Creekside figured it out in a hour or less. Highly recommend this place for fast diagnosis and repair. Will not take my truck anywhere else.

Fantastic shop, I go to Creekside for any vehicle issues as well as my routine vehicle maintenance. Very professional and respectful staff. They offer payment plans as well as a military discount.

Feeling very guilty sent my daughter here I was unaware that ownership had changed. My teen daughter went there three times with the same problem, she has spent $1291.27 with no solution. Each time she went in because her brakes would lock up while she was driving. Having to go to a new mechanic, hopefully we will have a solution.

Worst place to go for vehicle repair, very rude, unprofessional. Charged me $460 to replace a battery. Tried to charge me $250 an hr to replace a fuel pump.

I had a very good experience here. Windshield replacement and tire patch. I plan to come back for future needs.

Its hard to find places I can really trust, & afford for car repair & general maintenance, but this place has been one for years.
