My 17-yr-old air-conditioner had the nerve to up and die on July 4th. I came home from the lake to an 86-degree house. R-22 Freon gone; 1977 ductwork in need of a total overhaul. After speaking with about eight companies and having four of them come out to give me estimates, I decided to go with AiRCO.Jeremy Extein at AiRCO took his time with me and walked me through all my options. I really appreciate how thorough he was and his willingness to answer all my questions. I chose a Daikin Fit 4-ton DX6VS condenser with the DM80VC furnace and miles of new flex-duct. (I have a one-story, 2,400 sq ft. house.)David and his amazing crew arrived promptly less than a week after my A/C died. (I had a neighbor’s portable A/C unit in my bedroom so I could survive.) In two days, they had removed my old, busted A/C and replaced it, my furnace, and all my ducts with a fantastic, super-quiet new system. They completely reconfigured the unit in my attic so it can be serviced properly. (The old one had been Frankensteined by a flipper and was very difficult to get around to access the maintenance panel.) The Daiken is now on the left at the top of my attic stairs with plenty of floorspace to work on it. I have these octopus-arms of silver flex-duct running everywhere that are strapped to the underside of my roof for better airflow! The unit in the side yard is tiny with the fan discharge on the side. I can hardly hear it running when I’m standing right next to it. I am no longer bothering my neighbors with the sound of my old unit going through its death throws.Most importantly, my house is cold again! I love the new thermostat on the wall that comes with the system. It’s super easy to program from my phone, even when I’m not home. I have waited a bit to write this review so I can confirm that my summer Austin Energy costs have decreased by $50 a month. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. I spoke to many companies over the phone and listened to several while standing in my side-yard. None of them matched the knowledge and professionalism of AiRCO. After getting several quotes for a new furnace and A/C, I decided to go with AiRCO and so glad I did! Unlike some other companies which I felt used scare tactics in an attempt to oversell/upsell me on a new system, AiRCO took the time to understand my current system and my personal heating and a/c usage in order to present a solution that worked within my budget. The installation crew was fast, professional and left all work areas clean. They even re-routed the duct system during the install so the unit will be easier to access and service in the future and installed a new breaker after realizing during installation that the one there was bad. All in all, it was a great experience and I’m looking forward to saving some money on monthly electric bills this summer!

I called AIRCO for a quote after another company quoted a very high price for replacing my HVAC system. Someone in my neighborhood had also used AIRCO and said the prices were reasonable. Jeremy came to my home, looked over my system, and talked through different options. He answered by questions. When I told Jeremy I needed time to look over my options before making a decision, he respected my response and did not pressure me. When I decided to go with AIRCO and a system/financing that fit my needs, it was scheduled quickly. The two installers came on time and were considerate of my home and dog, answered my questions, worked quickly, and cleaned up thoroughly. My new system is very quiet and has been efficiently heating my home this month. I havent used the A/C yet, but I feel confident that it will be just as good! Thank you!
I have had an absolutely awful experience with Airco, and I feel compelled to warn others about their poor workmanship, lack of accountability, and rude customer service.First, the installation they did in August was completely botched. They had to come back shortly after to “fix” their mistakes, but it seems their fixes were only temporary. Fast forward to January, and my system started failing again. A fuse at the service disconnect blew, which left me with no choice but to contact them again.When the technician came out to address the issue, instead of thoroughly inspecting the wiring or taking responsibility, he tried to pass it off as a power surge. This excuse was nothing more than an attempt to dodge accountability, especially since there were no signs of a surge elsewhere in my home. He didn’t even bother to properly check the wiring, which I later discovered was likely the root cause of the problem.To make matters worse, the air handler (which requires a 60-amp breaker) was installed on a 50-amp breaker—something that is not only unsafe but also a clear violation of electrical codes. When I brought this up, the technician rudely and combatively insisted it was fine, even though it obviously isn’t. This is basic electrical knowledge, and their willingness to cut corners at the expense of safety is shocking.Their customer service has also been appalling throughout this process. When I reached out to schedule service, I received a dismissive and defensive text message instead of the clear communication I expected:This is Airco, I talked to you around 3:45 and told you we would be out today after 4 or 5. I did not tell you it would be before then. You are next on the schedule.This kind of tone is unprofessional and only added to my frustration.Overall, Airco has failed me on every level—botched installation, dismissive customer service, and rude, combative technicians who are more interested in deflecting blame than solving problems. I wouldn’t recommend Airco to anyone. Save yourself the headache and hire a company that will prioritize safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.To top it all, I called the city, in September, and they did not pull a permit. The city fined AirCo and contacted them to tell them to file a permit.

I had a new HVAC system installed in my house in Dec. of 2024. Jeremy was very informative and professional during the entire process. He was very prompt in answering my questions and explained everything in great detail. Great experience with Airco. With two aging HVAC units at our home, we wanted a modern heat pump and got quotes from four major installers. Airco did a thorough analysis and presented multiple options. We are very happy with the Daiken heat pump units (whisper quiet) and the teams that installed them were on time, communicative and protected the floors walked on.As can happen, a small issue with a drain tube was addressed within an hour of my call and they even balanced out the airflow between a hot and cold room for free.

Update! 2025Brandon and the AIRCO crew were hired, again, for a new property. We knew after our last experience with them that we didnt want anyone else to replace our HVAC system. He made several trips to assess, come up with a plan that we were happy with, and followed up continually throughout the process. He even took time out on a Sunday to finish up a request we made to clean the air ducts and to assist the sheetrock repairman that they helped us schedule, so that we could move into our new home on time. He planned everything perfectly. AIRCO is lucky to have him and his crew!Previous review~ AIRCO gave us immediate responses to all questions, concerns and provided a detailed estimate. Their guys came out on a Saturday to install our new equipment, responded with an in person visit when we had a concern following the install and also followed up with a quality control inspection. I own a rental unit is a condo complex. My renters called on a Sunday to say the A/C wasnt working. AiRCO was at the condo in under 3 hours adding coolant to the A/C to buy time until the unit could be replaced, which AiRCO did a few days later. The condo required the pancake air hander, which AiRCO installed perfectly, see photo. 5 stars for service and price. I will be using AiRCO again in the future. Thank you AiRco.

Ive worked with airco 2-3x over the past 2 years and its been a great experience each time. 2/3 times, Ive been lucky enough to work with Jon Paul and its the primary reason I keep working with Airco. I am a first time homeowner so Ive had a pretty steep learning curve. I have a big gap in knowledge and dont want to keep having issues in the future, therefore I ask a lot of questions to educate myself. Jon Paul has incredibly helpful with this and actually takes the time to show and tell me all the little things that go into maintaining an HVAC system. As a loyal, dedicated and longtime customer for years with a local HVAC company, we experienced a problem with our system and assumed no issue. Knowing we had bought a higher priced Premium Level service agreement earlier that year, we neednt have to worry. Well, DONT ASSUME. After many attempts, still no reasonable or acceptable response or resolution. It was at that point we secured 3 quotes - one from them, another competitor and AIRCO. Explained our particular situation and since most of AIRCOs tech were already assigned, a MANAGER hopped in his truck and came out. Long story short - If/When you are in need for an HVAC company, please consider AIRCO - You wont be disappointed.
I used Airco for a complete replacement of AC/Furnace and added ducts/returns. I worked with Stuart for sales and he was amazing. I have unfortunately had negative interactions with the rest of the company. Strike one: on the day that the installation was supposed to take place I was informed by the install tech that he would need to leave at 11 and finish the job the following day (family related absence). When I asked him if I would at least have functional AC on the first day he said that he would try. Full stop, I called their office to reschedule to a day they could guarantee me that they would have the system up and running. Strike two (maybe strike 2.5 also...): Issues were on the day of the the install. My husband had discussed with the install tech that he wanted a return register installed on the ceiling to make it less noticeable. When he went to check on him there were holes being cut near the floor in the drywall for the return vent. They did offer to correct this after everything was compete but at this point we just wanted it to be done with. At the end of the install the tech was showing us what was done and we noticed a ~700$ media filter was missing. When we asked, tech said that there was not sufficient room for the filter to be installed. I understand if there wasnt room but my issue is that this was never discussed with us during the installation at all. Im also concerned that because I had financed the install that he may never have offered the information to us had we not specifically asked about it. They were unable to reverse the financed charge and instead opted to mail a refund check (which I have not received yet after about 12 Business days). Final strike: I have been having issues with the temperature the system says it is and an external thermostat agreeing. The result is that it has been 71.4 degrees downstairs and 82 degrees upstairs when the thermostat was set at 75. This is probably fixable so I requested service to come out. They scheduled with me for today between 8 and 1. After 1 pm I called to reschedule (since their tech had not called or shown up) only to be told that they never scheduled me for this time slot in the first place. The person I scheduled with told me a time but scheduled me for a time range after 1 pm that I never would have agreed to because I am not available after the mid afternoon.Ive already purchased an extremely expensive system from this company so unfortunately Im stuck with their lackluster support going forward. If you choose to do the same thing please make sure you are informed about their practices and prepared to combat them yourself.

He said it didnt need any replacing either. I appreciate honesty, especially when I can avoid unnecessary work.This has been my second interaction with AirCo, theyve been great so far.

If you want to be baffled, upsold, and left wondering how anyone gets away with this level of nonsense, go ahead and call Airco. I did—and now I know better.Here’s my story: I moved into a brand-new house, with brand-new construction, complete with a brand-new HVAC system. All I wanted was to install some UV light filters and maybe improve the air quality a little. You know, something simple. So, I call Airco thinking, Hey, how hard can this be? Little did I know, Airco operates in an alternate reality where logic and common sense go to die.The technician shows up, takes a glance at my *brand-new* HVAC system, and—surprise, surprise—tells me it’s oversized. Not only that, but apparently, the only way to fix this problem, of course, is to replace the entire unit. Yes, you read that right. To install a couple of filters and a dehumidifier, they recommended a full system replacement on a unit that’s practically still in its warranty period.Now, I’m no expert, but I’ve got friends in HVAC who took one look at this and told me it was insane. And yet, Airco didn’t just stop there. After a few back-and-forth emails where I asked for basic proof and data—because, you know, due diligence—they kept coming back with the same song and dance: “Making small adjustments would mean tearing down your walls, and by the time were finished, it’ll cost more than a full system replacement.”Clearly, creative problem-solving isn’t their strong suit. There are countless ways to rebalance an oversized system without tearing a house down, but apparently, that’s beyond their comprehension. It’s as if they’ve only got one solution in their playbook, and naturally, it’s the most expensive one.Meanwhile, every email response from them was a masterclass in upselling with a side of vague warnings about future issues. I pushed back, told them I wasn’t looking to discard a perfectly good unit, and even laid out clear, targeted solutions. You know what I got? More exaggerated claims with zero evidence or hard data to back it up. It was like what are we even talking about anymore? I just want air filters!After all of this, I found out that this isn’t just happening to me. A quick dive into their reviews reveals a pattern of predatory sales tactics, where they push full system replacements on unsuspecting homeowners who don’t know any better.It honestly makes me sick to think of how many people have handed over tens of thousands of dollars because Airco painted a picture of doom and gloom that didn’t actually exist.And let’s be clear, this isn’t “just business.” There are plenty of contractors in the Great State of Texas who make a good living by being honest and upfront with their customers. This kind of business model needs to disappear. Honesty and transparency are the bedrock of sustainable success, but Airco seems more interested in testing how far they can push customers into unnecessary expenses.Shame on you, Airco. What if someone tried to do this to your elderly mother?The only silver lining: After things had gone completely south, the salesman managed to scrape together the last bit of integrity he had left and mentioned that the system could probably be fixed for free under my builder’s warranty. A small, belated concession from someone who might’ve felt a pang of guilt. I did appreciate that, even if it came at the eleventh hour.For anyone considering Airco: Get a second opinion. Then take the $10,000 I just saved you and indulge in a luxury vacation. Thank me later.
We purchased and entire new AC system from Airco. The free estimate was pretty hassle free and didn’t feel like we were being forced into anything. I have to give AiRCO and especially, Jon Paul, props. I had been told by another company last Fall that I would need a replacement for my 9-yo AC unit soon (and of course they mentioned all of the great discounts they were offering). So when I started hearing one of my outside units make a funny noise, I thought the time had come. I called AiRCO because I had heard good things about the company and wanted an honest assessment. Jon Paul came out and was extremely thorough, checking both units. He found that the noise I was hearing was coming from the newer of my two units and assured me it was normal. He also confirmed that both units were in good shape and I still had time left on the older one. I really appreciated his honesty in not trying to push a replacement that I didnt need yet. And because he earned my trust, I will definitely be giving AiRCO my business when the time comes.

Our total experience from start to finish with AiRCO has been excellent. The process started with one of their agents, they were very helpful and provided us with a lot of information. The agent was able to answer all of our questions and even explained what some of the more advanced terminology and system specifications meant He was well versed and was able to educate us to help make a better decision. He tailored our system to make sure it was the right fit for our needs. The next stage was the actual installation that was promptly set up and executed. The installers were very kind and courteous and were very careful with our installation. They were able to dismantle and remove our system being replaced with ease and efficiency. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to install the new system and get it going. I thought it was a 2 day job at least but one day was all it took. After the installation they took the time to explain the different features and answer any questions I had. Our new system has been great and the process was pretty painless. I would highly recommend AiRCO and will definitely use them again.

I contracted with Airco to replace an existing AC unit that was starting to fail. The sales person I dealt with (Tony) came to my house to assess my requirements, and walked me through different technical aspects of the systems offered. He was readily available in the following days to answer follow up questions that I had. Airco also provided discounts on the offerings, and the pricing was competitive with other companies I priced. The installation went smoothly and was done within a day. The only hiccup was an issue getting a password to program the thermostat, but the onsite technician escalated it and got a timely resolution so he could set it up. The system has been running well over the past month weve used it. Overall, a very good end-to-end process. Airco was a referral from a co-worker, and based on my experience I would recommend them.
We are very pleased with the Daikin HVAC system installed on 7/15/2024 by AiRCO. The salesman was knowledgeable, the installers prompt, courteous and efficient and the entire system essentially installed in one day. We are very comfortable with the whole procedure and were glad to have contracted with this company. Its all cool...and we are saving money on electricity with the new system. We would highly recommend both the company and the equipment installed.
I use Airco to do yearly maintenance for both my A/C Units. My smaller one was having issues and we decided to replace the unit vs repairing. Airco came out on time, replaced the unit quickly, cleaned up after themselves and then showed me how to use my new touch screen thermostat. Every employee I have encountered in this experience has been professional and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. I will continue to use them for all my heating and cooling needs and have since referred them to two others who needed a repair/replacement. Both were impressed with them.

He confirmed that our previous unit would have been under warranty IF it had been registered--major lesson learned: fill out those product registrations in a timely manner! The install crew was polite, knowledgeable, and took care to limit any temporary messes, and cleaned up all trash with them. They also took time to explain the new system to me. This time we had two new complete air condition systems installed and the whole process from quoting to installations was quick, efficient and timely. We had multiple quotes from multiple vendors but what made a decision was our earlier experiences dealing with AiRCO, including price. Not lowest, not highest, but definitely best value [for us]. Highly recommend their services. Initial contact was online, very professional and fast response. Dave was dispatched same day in the afternoon. Dave inspected my water heater and noted it still had 4 years remaining on the warranty and offered to contact the manufacturer. He informed me he needed to diagnose the unit with the manufacturers assistance. He noted the part and it was shipped to me (free of charge due to warranty). The service is prompt and exceptional compared to the other companies that I contacted for second/third opinions. AirCo was able to provide me with a more thorough analysis for my builder grade AC than the other companies who came out. I had one ac unit replaced and one repaired by Airco last month, the whole process was very smooth. The crew completed all the tasks less than a day and both ACs were up and running perfectly. I want to specially thank Jeremy, the manage, I got to know him when I installed my last AC unit, I called him when I had issues with my ACs, he properly returned my call, came out to the house next morning and diagnosed what the issues are, he is polite and knowledgeable, the quality of their work worth 10 stars. Tony has been super responsive to all my questions! Airco called me to process the Austin Energy rebate. Not once did I have to call Airco to follow up on something. I researched a lot of different HVAC manufacturers, local companies, and prices. From my research, HVAC systems are very equitable these days, as long as its installed property. Airco was the best price and had the most experience with Lennox.
We called several HVAC vendors when our AC wasnt cooling but AiRCO was one of those who didnt charge to come and check. When they came they said the refrigerant was leaking and the unit had to be replaced. We told them we dont have the budget for it and if they can just fix it. The technician obliged and used a special light to test if the leak was in the unit indoors or outdoors. They also provided estimates for repair and replacement. After further evaluation we just decided to replace the unit as it was 10+ years old. The technicians were professional, responsive and patient. We highly recommend them.
I have had a total of 3 A/C systems and duct work done by Airco in my recent home and my rental condo. They even came at my old house to debug a problem with a system they didnt install, gave me advice to get it under warranty by the original installers (they couldnt do it because the unit had never been registered by that other company) and even waived their service charge considering I was a good customer.Every time, the work has been done very well, and the price has been fair. I highly recommend this company, which is local and very available when you need them.And, cherry on the cake, they are not rushing you to pay until you are fully satisfied.
I’ve been using AiRCO for my AC/Heating maintenance and repair needs for about 15 years now, and I can always rely on their experienced team of technicians to provide me with the most reliable service. I have recently had AirCO install a 3.5 ton unit to replace and old AC unit. I went through a fairly extensive bid process before hiring them. I was impressed with them during the bid process and the replacement process. AC is working great and cools the downstairs quickly. I have been very pleased that I selected them.

Airco did a fantastic job installing our new unit. Robert was very knowledgeable when he came out to talk to us about the different units Airco offered. The install crew was very efficient and knowledgeable. They were very careful with our home during the install. They totally cleaned up after they were finished. One of my furnaces stopped working and Airco Mechanical sent their technician Martin to fix it. Martin was knowledgeable and courteous. He checked the thermostats, went to the attic to take a look at the furnaces and was able to figure out what was wrong and fixed it in no time. He took the time to check various other things to make sure everything was working fine. He told me about the filters, when to change them and what to buy.Overall great service!!!
I dealt with five different companies to replace my HVAC unit. Two companies tried to give me an appointment to come check my house and my unit for two weeks or one and a half month later (in the middle of Texas summer!). Airco sent Tony the same day. Two other companies tried to sell me a unit that cost about twice as much as the one I got from Airco. Tony explained that I didnt need something so big for my small house. He was right; it is freezing now in my house with this smaller unit (which is still a big upgrade from my old one) . Tony was extremely patient with me as I checked with other companies, always available to answer my questions on the phone. The installers Noe and Jonathan were fast, professional, polite, friendly, and thorough in explaining the new unit and thermostat. I recommend Airco to anyone who needs a new HVAC unit in the Austin area.
Our AC quit working Tuesday evening. I called AiRCO and a senior service tech came out the next day on July 3rd.. The system needed to be replced. Before the tech left, we had selected a new system and the installation was scheduled for July 5th. The tech was able to get the system running that lasted until the new installation. A crew arrived on July 5th and worked until the installation was complete ,which was around 7 PM. The new system is working great. All our interaction with AiRCO personnel has been outstanding. I wpuld definiyely recommend them.
AiRCO is my only choice for AC service here in Round Rock. Ive used them on my previous home and again in our new home, and every time their service was excellent. Every team member was outstanding in their attention to detail within my home!

I highly recommend Airco, they were great from start to finish. I needed a new AC unit due to my fan blade breaking off and damaging the coil, the motor also went out and they recommend that rather than fixing an 11 year old motor that would cost me $1500 to fix not to mention the cost of the coil I might as well replace the whole unit which cost $8k . If I had tried to replace all the parts that were broken the unit may not have lasted much longer anyway.I was happy with my technician, he was friendly, knowledgeable and good to work with.

They showed up as expected on time and left right on time for the price quoted that’s pretty refreshing and nice to hear.But what I wanted to say most of all, is that Francisco really really was polite and courteous and I thank you for that.
Junior was simply fantastic. He diagnosed two air leaks and a bad capacitor in less than 15 minutes. Had the replacement parts in the van, and installed in short order.
The crew installed the new air and heating units but found a leak in the copper tubing. Robert and the techs came back and found the leak. Once the contractor removed a part of the siding, the repairs were made, and all tested fine. The dedication, professionalism and friendly attitude, was more than expected. Excellent company and employees.
Weve used Airco Mechanical for many years as our go to AC and furnace repair and/or replace company. This is out 2nd full replacement of our entire furnace and A/C unit, getting a Lennox system both times. Our first Lennox system was installed 15 years ago but was beginning to show signs of wearing out so we decided it was time to let Airco install a new one.The Airco techs are always friendly and courteous and do a great job of getting our system up and running in a timely fashion. I highly recommend Airco if you need your system checked, repaired or replaced with the confidence that your getting just what you need.
Very bad experience, they want to sale you a unit but not find out why your previous unit was not working. They sold me 2 units and when it was determined the wiring needed to be replaced on one of the units they treated us like we didnt exist! Stuart dropped the ball even after we went back and forth about the electrical we decided to sign for another $3k worth of electrical work and it wasnt until the finance company called stating they paid Airco for a complete job. These people dont care why you need née units or repairs they just want to take out your old equipment and leave you stranded if there is any other problem. Not to mention my son had just died and we were just trying to get ready to host family and friends. This place lies about their work and they dont stand by their word.

I am very happy with the AirCo HVACS Installation Team.On May 6th, two young men led by Enrique, came to my home to install a new Lennox HVAC system in a big AirCo truck. Enrique knocked at the door and when I opened the door, he very enthusiastically described: who they were, what did they want to do, how would they do it, how long would it take and how I could help them.I showed them where the old system was. They were very courteous. Whenever they had to come inside the house, they put their shoe covers on..Soon they picked up their tools and got busy in dismantling the old system, Enrique in attic and his colleague on the side of the house. They very carefully brought the older units to the driveway and picked up the new units from the truck. Very patiently they installed every piece of the HVACS and connected them to the existing manifolds. Whenever I asked them any question out of curiosity, they explained everything very enthusiastically. Just a few hours later the new system was in place and was ready to be powered on. Enrique called me, gave me a tour of the whole system and taught me how to use the thermostat. After the AC system was turned on, Enrique went to different rooms to monitor the air flow and the temperatures. He said that I should leave the system on and he will continue to monitor the performance remotely via SmartPhone. Enrique gave me plenty of simple tips about what and how to keep an eye on the drainage and the outside unit. Thank you, Enrique.Finally they wrapped up, loaded the older units and the cardboard boxes in their truck, and made sure that each area is properly cleaned. I had a very good experience with these AirCo professionals. Thank you AirCo installation team. Keep up with the good work.I will be more than happy to refer AirCo to my friends, neighbors or any one who needs help with their HVACS.
AiRCO saved the day!We called in the late morning, and Jon, the service tech, called us in the late afternoon informing us that he was on his way. The office team worked to accommodate us on a Friday afternoon just before a holiday weekend.Jon was personable and sharp, and we chatted for a bit. We ask about him wearing a mask if he needed to come in, and was gracious and understanding. But he didnt even need to come inside was able to diagnose the issue from outside, turned out to be a bad capacitor.I asked for a price estimate to replace the unit, and it was very competitive. There was no pressure to make a sale on the spot, like some companies do. Also the cost of the repair can be credited toward the new unit for the next two weeks if we pull the trigger. Sweet : )Last, the communication was excellent. Jon directly contacted us, instead of the office, which made things much easier. Our condo is difficult to get to and I was able to guide him through a shortcut, in the past its been a huge pain with service cos that dont let you talk to the tech over the phone.Killing it AiRCO!
Im very pleased with my experience with AiRCO. I had a 23-year-old 5-ton heat pump system that was original to the house we built, and I wanted to replace it before it broke down, which wasnt imminent but was inevitable. I had the leisure to research my options and to consider multiple HVAC providers and get multiple estimates. Although I learned something from every bidder, AiRCO provided the best balance between pricing, range of options, and product quality. Jeremy comprehensively answered every question I had and explained every step of the process in a very complete way. There was no pressure to buy any particular product. By the way, Jeremy was the only expert I interacted with who mentioned (unprompted by me) the possibility of tax credits applying to particular options. So far, the system works great, but as we know, the summer in Central Texas (four or five months from now) will be the real test of the system.
Our AC was struggling to keep our house cool for a couple of days so I called AirCo to send out a technician, Martin L, to diagnose our problem. They worked us in the same day I called and Martin called to let me know he would be arriving toward the end of the window they gave me, but he would be coming. He actually arrived exactly when he predicted he would and within a few minutes found the problem. Even though the job required a couple of hours to repair, Martin did complete the job well past when his normal shirt would’ve ended. It made our house comfortable immediately and saved us money as we were no longer losing our cold air into the attic.Really outstanding company and great folks who represent them. I have nothing but great things to say about AirCo and their employees.Id recommend AirCo to anyone! Thanks for the continued great service!
Could not be happier with the service Tony provided. Our AC stopped running Tuesday evening, we submitted a request to Airco early the next morning and Tony was with us at 10am! He quickly diagnosed the issue, replaced the part, cleaned the coils and had everything up and running again within 15 minutes. He also left us a bunch of tips and answered all our questions, so glad we went with them!

Had a good experience with Jeremy at the AirCo Austin team. He was knowledgeable in my (admittedly old) system and presented both the cost to replace the unit as well as repair options. I ended up opting to repair the unit but would use AirCo in the future when I need to replace the unit.
All staff that I interacted with were helpful and friendly. They were able to schedule an appointment for me quickly. Tony, responded to the work order. He explained each step that he was taking. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem (needed a new capacitor) easily. Another company had told me that I would need new units both inside and out. I will definitely recommend AirCo.

Service tech came out inspected the 19 year old unit. Present me with my options. I scheduled installation of a new A/C unit. The tech call to notify me that they were on their way and arrived as scheduled. They finished and ask if I had any questions, they walk me through out the work area and answered all my questions. It is my hope that all AIRCO employees are as professional as the gentleman I had the pleasure of working with.
We weren’t getting any heat to the upstairs bedrooms and Mario came over to investigate. He was very thorough and checked every possible nick and cranny to see what the issue is. He explained what changes need to be made and was very detailed. Very friendly and loved our dog too which is always a plus. Great experience and highly recommend asking for Mario.

The company put me down for a next day appointment(due to weather same day was not available) and after only 10 minutes on site Tony had the issue diagnosed and had parts ordered. Our A/C went out and AirCo sent Mario R. out right away to diagnose the problem. It didnt take him long to determine what was wrong and provide my repair options, along with his recommendation on how to proceed with the repair. He explained all of the options and pricing and I appreciate his honesty and expertise.We decided the best option was to replace the entire unit and AirCo was able to get that out to us ASAP to get our house cool again. Fernando O. and Johnathon G. showed up with the new unit the next morning and told me theyd have us back up and running in a couple of hours. Thats exactly what they did!We have used AirCo for years, and they were able to keep the unit that came with our home running for 16 years. I know by the quality of the work and the knowledge and care shown by the technicians that have responded to any of our calls, that we are going to be more than satisfied with this new unit.I cant say enough great things about the professionalism of the company, but if youre a Round Rock resident, they are also huge supporters of our local community, schools, and sports teams. Last night at 100+ degrees my AC died. I called around and was told it would be 1 to 2 weeks before anyone could come repair my unit. I called Airco and received a callback within 15 min. 15 min later Tony was on his way to my house. He fixed the unit within another 15 minutes. He had the part on his van...very pleased...very professional. The response time was worth the cost.
I called AirCo because my AC stopped working at very high temperatures. They were the only ones that could come here the same day! After Jon Paul arrived and checked it, he was able to fix it in about 30min. Then he explained everything very detailed to my husband and me. He was a true life saver in this heat. I will recommend and use them again in the future

We recently scheduled our summer A/C maintenance service. The online scheduling process was easy and we were able to schedule an appointment within a few days. Our technician, Jon Paul, called ahead of time to let us know when he would arrive. He arrived on time and performed a thorough inspection of our A/C unit. In addition to the normal dust, he found bird feathers inside our outside unit. He removes the panels and did a thorough cleaning. When blowing out the condensate line, he took great care to ensure all openings were covered and our bathroom remained clean. We have used Airco for years and Jon Paul is an example of why we prefer their services. From installation to service, Airco has always been responsive and provided excellent service.
I appreciated the job Martin did. He came on time, found the problem with our AC, and gave us advice on what needed to be done. He was very professional and was very kind. We wish that people like him were around us all the time to keep our house cool with clean air.

Had an AC unit go out on Sunday. AirCo set up appointment for Monday. Junior diagnosed problem, replaced the part and got us up and running (and cool!) very quickly. He also check our other unit while he was out to make sure we would have no further issues. He was knowledgeable, efficient and very friendly. The first week of 100 plus degree weather in June, and this is the time that my air conditioner just stopped working. I called AirCo expecting to be without cool air for a few days, at least. AirCo was able to get someone to me within a few hours, and our tech,Junior, was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The issue was fully handled and I was only without air for a few hours. They followed up the next day to make sure everything is still working properly. I am so impressed with this company and grateful for their incredible customer service.

It’s been over 100 degrees for over 30 days. A few days ago our AC started turning off on back on for just a few minutes. The house would get up to 87 degrees by dinner time. i called AIRCO and had to wait a day for an appointment BUT when John Paul arrived he knew immediately what the problem was. John fixed the problem then went over and above and completed a total maintenance check to make sure the unit was running as it should be. Great service during a very hot season.
Jeremy from Airco appeared professional and diligent in his work. He tested various components of the system and ultimately concluded that the compressor had died. He offered to replace the entire system, which, while possibly necessary, came with a steep price tag of $8,000 or plus.As this solution was beyond my budget at the time, I chose to try and fix the issue myself, following advice from various YouTube videos. I was able to extend the life of my current system by replacing the capacitor and installing a hard start kit. Its worth noting that this may only be a temporary fix and the issue might recur in the future. However, it allowed me to delay the substantial expense of a full system replacement.While I appreciate Jeremys expertise and professionalism, I was slightly disappointed with the lack of alternative solutions offered. It would have been beneficial to explore less expensive options before resorting to a complete system replacement. Furthermore, it seems that there could have been some oversight regarding the potential for a less drastic repair, such as the one I was able to carry out myself.

I had some issues with AC and have a new baby. We needed to get it looked at quickly so we could get the baby sleeping normally! Junior was able to respond and help us out even though it was after hours. He was helpfull with all our questions and showed up quickly to resolve the issues!
Erik, with Airco, had our new construction job information for more than a month. He came to the job the week before installation was to start. He then sent a text message saying they couldnt do the job. Very poor business edicate to say the least. Beware they could dump at the last minute.
Weve had a bunch of issues the past few weeks with our air conditioning and heating systems. AiRCO was great to work with! They were always easy to get a hold of and would get someone right out to us. Tony is the man for the job too, I think he must be some sort of magician. Jon was right on task with the diagnosis and repair of my AC, turned out a wire had been damaged. Then, when the house took a while to cool (106 outside) he came back to ensure all systems were working properly. Very professional, kind, and efficient.
I have subscribed AiRCO’s service for almost 2 years. The service has been excellent. For example, Jon Paul came this morning, not only helping me to maintain my unit, but also teaching me a lot of things I can better understand how the unit works! He is patient and knowledgeable!

AirCO Mechanical is fantastic. The staff is incredibly kind, prompt, and just very pleasant to work with in general. A small part of my AC unit malfunctioned nearly a year ago. I called AiRCO and within just a few hours they had a friendly technician named Tony at my door. Tony very quickly found and proceeded to fix the issue, explaining that AiRCOs work is warrantied and to contact him if I ever experience any issues. This week (~1 year later), a rodent of some sort came into my yard and chewed threw some wiring disabling the system. I immediately called AiRCO and again, within just 2-3 hours they had a technician at my door and to my surprise, it was Tony, the same friendly technician who had come to fix my system just 1 year prior. Just like the first time, Tony was able to determine that the destruction of the wire was not the only issue, but a fuse had also been blown in the process. He had my system up and running again in a matter of minutes. Once he was finished, to my surprise, he told me not to worry about payment because he would cover his work under the warranty, even though the issues had nothing to do with his prior repairs. This was an incredibly generous gesture and I want to thank Tony and AiRCO for being a business that genuinely cares about their customers, which is difficult to come by these days. I recommend AiRCO to anyone - you will not be disappointed.
I was originally disappointed and thought we would not receive service due to an issue with their online booking. But AiRCO stepped up and did a great job. I received a call from one of the owners(Wes) who apologized for the error and sent a technician out immediately despite it being well after normal business hours. The technician(Federico) was quick to diagnose and fix our issue. I cant speak highly enough about a business that owns a mistake and corrects it accordingly. Thank you guys.
This is the second time we had an issue with our AC system and, just like the first time, AirCo came to our rescue.We called late in the evening on a weekend and Martin responded the very next afternoon. Their techs always let us know when they were en route and go quickly about diagnosing the issue.What we really appreciate is the time they take to explain the issue and go over our options. We never felt pressured into accepting the most extensive/expensive repair if another option was possible. It’s easy to trust their recommendations because of the confidence their techs have when diagnosing- we never feel like we’re being taken advantage of. They even showed us some helpful tips to run and maintain our system more efficiently so our machine lasts longer.They clearly care about what is best for their customers. Ok, I am 68, so this isnt my first rodeo. And, I am beyond being impressed with flash, social media, or whatever. Very impressed with Airco and Jon Paul the tech who came was awesome. Very personable, professional, and patient. He explained everything, pros and cons, with no pressure and no indication he wanted anything but to do the job as professionally as possible.We went with the annual maintenance for peace of mind. You dont have to use them, but I would certainly say try them and compare. It was a great experience.
My air conditioner stopped cooling suddenly and I had company coming that weekend so I needed it fixed quickly. I called Airco at 7pm on a Tuesday, and within 10 minutes Tony P. was at my house ready to assess the situation. He was very professional and walked me through the issue and fix. He answered all my questions, and I appreciated how upfront he was about pricing and the different options I had. I will definitely be using Airco again!
Jeremy was very personable and took time to walk me through my options including consideration of what money I might want to put into an older unit. Described everything in detail and got my downstairs AC working in no time. Will absolutely use AirCo again with any future needs.
Airco fixed my mothers AC on the hottest day of the year (so far). Martin was prompt and courteous, and he explained the repairs very well to her. He then called me to explain them to me again, so we can be sure everything was clear to my mother. Very grateful for his great service!

Junior from AirCO came out after we received an estimate from another company. Turns out the other company was going to charge us for a repair that wasn’t needed. Junior showed me voltage readings and it the repair that was needed was taken care of immediately. Will definitely use their services again!

Our air conditioner went out today and we called AirCo. Martin came out to the house this afternoon, thats fast. Anyway, he diagnosed several issues right away and fixed them. Martin was very knowledgeable and a pleasant guy. I would recommend. 10 stars to Martin!
Tony did a great job. We called with a system that was not cooling on a Sunday morning. Tony made it here in 30 minutes. He found a problem with a communication wire and ran a temporary wire to get the AC working for the weekend, so that we could make arrangements to get the permanent replacement installed next week. He was here just a little more than an hour and the AC is running again.
Wanted to share a great review after a recent, tough electrical installation, performed by Abel Leyva & his assistant. It included scratching our heads for a minute but then Abel got after it & managed to get wires where no wires have gone before :) to light up a fabulous art piece hung on our fireplace. Tiny attic spaces, obstacle beams, fluffy insulation & silky sheetrock were only a few distractions. Give these men a partnership in Airco! They kept a can-do attitude the whole time, so professional & refreshing. A reminder of days gone past when our work was a representation of ourselves, excellent work. Kudos to Billy in dispatch also, who worked with our schedules to get it done & always checked in to confirm a go. Great communication with that same can-do attitude.
AirCo continues to provide quality service that makes us feel better about choosing them. Being able to recommend their service, year after year, feels great. They helped us, and helping them help our friends is just terrific. Tony was our latest maintenance professional, and was one more in a series of great people that listened to us, answered our questions and offered guidance and their experience willingly and with enthusiasm about their job. Weve had a contract with Airco for a couple of years now and they always provide the best service. Very professional and courteous. My AC was not cooling , and I called Airco at 6pm. Toni called me back within 10 minutes. He was at my house in 20 minutes, inspected the unit and told me the outside unit was dirty, and instructed me on how to clean it.This company is amazing and right on it when you need them.thank you Toni !
Airco just installed a new HVAC system that takes my homes comfort into the 21st century. The variable-speed AC saves energy ($$$), cooling and dehumidifying (!) without making us feel like we live in a refrigerator. Brandon, the service tech, was patient and helpful through the process of choosing and financing the new system. The installation team was efficient, well-organized, respectful of our property, pleasant and easy to work with, making sure everything was installed and working correctly and to our satisfaction. Ive been an Airco customer for more than a decade, and recommend them highly.
We had our air conditioner go down a few weeks ago. I booked an appointment online on a Friday night and they were right on time the next morning. Tony knew the problem immediately and we were back in service. Weekend appointments cost extra, but it was worth it for sure.
I dont think if I want to give them even one star, very bad service. this was the first time we contacted them for a small plumbing leak. To begin with heir after hour person named Tim made an arrangement with us to show up for the repair at 8.00 am next morning, we made arrangement for someone to be there for him. he never showed up, when I called him he didnt pick up his phone, did not reply to the text either. I called their dispatch line and the representative told me she does not see if he was coming out. I repeated my conversation with Tim and told her he promised to be there at 8.00, and she pretty much told me I am lying, very rude and unprofessional! But she agreed to send some one once some one is free, I asked her to have the plumber call me before heading that way and also that this is just one person job and he wont need a helper with him because its only one small leak , but she insisted that the plumber will have a helper with him and its an additional $75 per hour for the helper . about four hours later I called them to ask if some is available to go, the person on the phone told me a plumber is on the way and will call me once arrive there, which kind of made me upset as I had requested a call before even he heads that way . and the reason was , we have Kitec Pex plumbing in the whole building and I know not every plumber is prepared to work with this discontinued product, so I just wanted to make sure that the plumber knows ahead of time what would he be working with once gets to the location.I asked her if she can provide me with his ETA, she puts me on hold to check but then an other very rude person named Brandy I think comes to the phone and tells me she is the manager and they are not going to send anyone out because I was abusive ( I believe they did not like the fact I asked them not to send a helper with the plumber because its a very small job) . So be aware when you call them, no matter if two people are needed at the job or not, they will send two people to skim more money off of you.Response from the owner 5 hours agoHi Sir, The way you spoke to our frank’s employees on our team was not acceptable whatsoever. I stand behind their decision and I would recommend you reconsider the way you speak to people in the future. Martin came out and fixed our AC unit. We have two babies and our house was very hot and we were very worried about our kids safety. Martin went out of his way to help our family in a tough spot. Very kind and knowledgeable. He was able to get our system back up and cooling and most of all allow our babies to have a safe cool place to sleep. I’m very grateful for Martin.
The technician Jon Paul was great. He answered all of our questions and gave us pointers on what not to use on the coils to clean them and to only use water. He also explained the different maintenance plans and signed us up on one that was a fit for what we needed. I would reccomend him to anyone.
I had issues with a three year old a/c unit for about two days, and then it cut out. As a first time home owner I had no idea how to fix it. I received outstanding customer service by Martin Lozano. He contacted me almost immediately, found out exactly what the issue was over the phone, and less than 24 hours of my A/C cutting out, its up and running smoothly. Seriously, Cant thank Martin enough!

They were sensitive to my needs and my financial limitations and offered options that were affordable but very high functioning units. Installation was great! This outfit is so honest and does such good work that I would recommend them to anyone needing their services. I trusted them and they came through.

We were selling our home and the buyers requested a service be performed on our AC/heating systems. I researched companies and chose AirCo. We are so happy we did. They were quick to schedule, and extremely thorough. Tony had such a fantastic attitude and explained his findings. The buyers were impressed with the level of detail included on his report. Both sides were 100% satisfied with the level of work performed.
Junior is absolutely fantastic! Customer service was amazing. He was thorough and was able to find where the duct was leaking in the attic that a previous company was unable to locate. Junior was also super professional and the service provided on the unit itself was completely transparent with him showing me exactly why each part was in need of replacement. I’ll only call AirCo for all of my HVAC needs in the future.
Martine came out to the residence at the appointed time, and quickly set about performing system checks. He found my problem almost immediately, and quickly made the repairs. Martine was very friendly, informative, and professional. I would not hesitate to use this companys services again in the future.
My AC went down on Sunday at midnight. Went on line and scheduled a visit. Martin was fantastic. He called at 9AM and was here at 9:15. diagnosed the problem did the repair. Had the AC up and running by 10:00AM. I will be using them again when needed. I will also ask for Martin. Great customer service.Update: Jan 2023, I called because my HVAC stop working. Robert came to service the unit. He discovered that thethe fire box had a crack. He shut down the unit for safety and the risk of CO.I got a replacement estimate from him. and 2 other companies. Aircos estimate was in middle. One company was 40% higher than Airco. With the heater shut down I started to use my space heat but it stop working, when Robert found out the next day he brought a space heater for us to use, it was the weekend and going to be a cold. Robert and his crew are fantastic, they had the HVAC installed in 2 days. They did a onsite inspection the following day.I recommend them highly.

We came home from being away for 2 months to find our A/C System was not working. We called our usual service, Christianson, and left a voice mail on their emergency service line. After getting no prompt call back, we called Airco. Within 5 minutes we had a call back and Martin was on our doorstep within an hour. Within an hour after that, he Martin diagnosed the issue, replaced a capacitor, and had our system up and running. The price that was quoted on the phone was the price we paid. Martin was obviously very talented, kind, and service oriented. Absolutely top-notch service. Oh, by the way, Christianson did finally call back ... about an hour after Airco had the system up and running. Bottom line? When we need service, we will be calling Airco.
I was very pleased an impressed by the service I received today. The technician I had this time around was awesome. His name is Tony an I would recommend him to anyone. He is very polite, thorough, an patient. He took his time explaining everything to us. He also waited to make sure my home was cooling down before leaving. As usual, great service from AiRCO Austin. Tony was out at the house on time and ready to work . Tony diagnosed the issue very quickly and had the parts to repair on the truck. He answered all my questions about the hardware, technology and potential future replacements of our VERY old systems.Weve had other companies out telling us that our entire system needed replacement, AiRCO came out and replaced a defective capacitor. From then on they have had my business.

We have been using AIRCO for many years for installation, maintenance, seasonal check-ups and repair of our heat and AC. The employees are knowledgeable and communicate how to properly maintain the systems for maximum efficiency and longevity. Tony, the service man who came today for a cooling problem, fixed the problem and informed us how to maintain the system to avoid future service calls for the same problem. We are happy.
Placed a service call and they came out pretty quickly. Alan was very friendly and professional and very helpful. We had a leak in the main unit in the house. Rudy called and was very polite, friendly and extremely helpful. He provided us with options on the repair. Since the repair could not be done until the following day, he charged our ac so that our dogs and us would have a comfortable house to sleep in. Rudy is very knowledgeable and I cant thank him enough for helping us. We have used Airco for all our ac/heating needs and have always had top notch service from everyone.
We had a leak from our AC and called Airco at the recommendation of a water remediator we had called (Kingdom Remediation). Martine came out the next day. He was professional & friendly, explained all of the different possibilities of the issue, and then worked to diagnose and resolve it! Overall he was quick and effective, and even mindful of the sleeping baby in the other room. :) We are so grateful for the excellent and quick service we received!
This company fixed what three companies couldnt. We had AC problems for a long time that were extremely confusing.Ultimately it ended up being an electric issue that was frying our entire unit everytime it turned on.I think it was Jr. who worked tirelessly for us and fixed it AFTER 3 companies came out and shrugged.Our AC also went out a while later and they fixed it in a few hours and it held up (knock on wood) through the summer of 105 every day.They are pricey but at this point Im convinced they are the only people who know what they are doing
Martin was great!! He came out on a Saturday and fixed my AC during a 100° heat wave. He was very friendly and found the issue fast. I was back to cooling inside of an hour. Cant recommend them enough!
Upon arriving home from vacation we discovered the one of our AC units had quit working. Our computer room had gotten up to 96 degrees which can damage equipment. The rest of the upstairs was a balmy 84. I immediately called Wes at Airco and within 30 minutes a tech was calling to say he was on his way. Robert was on time, courteous and spent the better part of the afternoon in the sweltering heat to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately, the repair required a part that they had to order so he could not fix it that day. He said someone would call me in the morning and sure enough, I got the call. I was told that they had ordered and received the part (in one day!) and that a tech would be out this afternoon. Sure enough, I received a call from Tony who said hed be here by 2pm. He was on time, new exactly what to do, told me it would take about 30 minutes and true to his word, its now 2:37pm and Im writing this review. I cannot say enough good things about this company and about Tony and Robert who worked in the heat of the day so that my family could be inside and cool. Thanks guys!
We love Junior at AirCo! He replaced our thermostat on an old Lennox system. Junior was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and never tried to oversell us. Will definitely use AirCo for all future ac needs.
Had them install a new system last year. Done in one day, everything working. It ended up needing a hot start kit because of the electrical, they installed one for free to make sure everything was working. Just had the one year service done by Jon, he explained everything that what was going on with the system and it is running great.
Martin went above and beyond for our family. Called to let me know he was on his way, called again to keep in communication with me about his eta. Once I verified my address with Martin he informed me that they didnt service this area, but Martin said he was already here and he was going to help us out. We went 6 days without a/c and Martin fixed it for us. Thank you Airco and thank you Martin!!!! Would highly recommend this company!!!

Had an outstanding experience from AiRCO today. My AC went out late Saturday and the weather was approaching 100 degrees. I called a competitor and they quoted me a huge Sunday service fee and an 8 hour wait. I called Airco and they could be there in 4 hours with no Sunday service fee— Easy decision.Tony called me 90 minutes later— he could be there in 30 minutes. When your AC is broken and it’s a hot day, 2 hours makes a HUGE difference. Tony was awesome— very friendly, educated me on my system and fixed the problem quickly. His professionalism and courtesy has definitely made me a repeat customer.Hope this is the end of my AC problems this summer, but I know that I will be calling Airco in the future for all of my HVAC needs.James

Normally I wouldnt spend the time to write a review (especially on a holiday) to publicly praise someone for doing what is part of their job description however every so often there are a few flowers like Tony Pardo amongst the weeds who go above and beyond said description and deserve to be recognized for exceptional customer service, professionalism and taking the time to do the job right regardless of circumstance. Tony not only took the time to fix mistakes made by others, he answered any and every question I had patiently and without judgement. He treated my home with respect and his attention to detail went beyond expectations. I can tell he takes pride in his work and it felt like the same effort he would go if it were his own grandparents house. If HVAC personnel arent considered essential, they should be because having AC in Texas is essential - especially during the hottest part of the year. Happy 4th Mr. Pardo - from my family to yours.
I just had to share an experience I had with this company. I had a Lennox system installed by a DIFFERENT company. After the fact, and deep diving into the equipment that was installed....I had that horrible feeling I had been taken.Lennox offered me no help, so with no expectation of help, I sent an email to Airco when I saw them listed as a Premier Dealer.I am blown away. I did not receive an email back, but rather, Jeremy with Airco called me. He saw my email, saw my concerns that I had been ripped off, and took nearly an hour patiently explaining my system to me, and answering all the questions I had. And this was at 6:30 in the afternoon.As to my situation, no, I did not get totally ripped off. Its not the ideal install, and not everything I though I was getting, but its also not as bad as I was thinking. Jeremy explained my situation to me as best as possible, but lets be real, he is not a psychic, so he cant explain what exactly the installer was thinking when he did what he did, but thanks to him answering my questions, I feel much better with what I have installed.And Id like to stress again, I paid Airco nothing, this install was done thru a different company, but in a gesture that is rarely seen these days, Jeremy reached out to me to give me help.I want to thank Jeremy at Airco in so much, as its a horrible experience believing you spent thousands of dollars to be ripped off.My biggest regret now is not having Airco do the install. It looks like thru my process of getting all the quotes I did, somehow I missed them. That is unfortunate, but I will definitely be recommending them to others.Thank you again Jeremy.
Our 19 year old unit was dying fast and we knew we needed it replaced. Because of my work schedule my wife was the one who had to handle everything. She got bids from 4 major companies and one mom and pop. Airco was only a few hundred dollars more then the cheapest bid. Stuart the salesman was very professional in telling my wife what we needed, didnt try to sell us stuff we didnt, showed her the companies insurance and bonding. He left us with info on 3 different units and let us determine what we could afford. Out of the 5 bids we received, Airco and Stuart were the most knowledgeable about the products they sell, the presentation of why we should chose them and the warranty information. When they came to install the new unit the installers were very polite and professional, even asking permission to use the restroom every time they needed to use it. They protected my floors and cleaned up everything when they were done. They asked if my wife wanted to go into the attic and look at the new unit and explain everything.I would highly recommend Airco to anyone who needs a new AC.
We had a broken ceiling light fixture in my kitchen. I tried to fix it but the box was in a really tricky part of the attic that was just about impossible to get to. The Airco electrical guys fixed the issue without having to cut away drywall in the ceiling which saved me a ton of money. They were on time and did a great job of cleaning up when they were finished. Its nice to have a service provider that can now take care of my AC and electrical issues!

We have two AC units that are about 12 years old and needed a checkup/tuneup, so I called AiRCO to schedule an appointment. The technician, Robert, arrived at the scheduled time and went to work checking the two units in our attic as well as the units outside. Robert did a great job of explaining the tests he was running on the electrical components and how to interpret the results. I believe the report and estimate for repairs that Robert provided were thorough and will ensure our ACs run at max efficiency during the summer months. Excellent overall experience with Robert.
Great experience this week with Rudy Flores! He not only diagnosed the problem but took time to really explain the issue, go over options, and discuss the benefits of each choice. He responded quickly to all my questions over email and phone, and ultimately got the unit repaired and my house is cool again!Updated review--Just wanted to give another shout-out to Rudy for going out of his way on a 2nd occasion to help us get an appointment, despite having a booked schedule. We originally booked an appointment to take place the next week, but when he finished a job that was nearby he called to say he could squeeze us in (even though it was a Saturday afternoon) so we wouldnt have to wait through the weekend with our AC issue. He spent over an hour checking things out to diagnose the issue and when it turned out to be more of an issue with plumbing, rather than AC, he still took the time to describe the problem to us in detail so we knew how to seek assistance--and he didnt charge us for the time. Our AC drain line was completely clogged and had no idea where it drained. This prevented us from getting AC as it would cause the system to shut down.Within 15 mins Martin identified and then fixed the problem within 20 mins. He also helped me create a plan to prevent this in the future.Definitely recommend!
We had Airco come out and repair one of our units that is connected to our bay door. This setup consistently causes problems but according to Austin Energy and the City Of Austin it saves energy. Anyway, after waiting about 5 weeks we finally made it to the top of the list and Airco made it out. I just want to say that OSCAR (AC Technician) really did a fantastic job. Airco hopefully appreciates the work this guy does. We are back up and running even though we had no AC when it was 109 outside....we managed. Thank you Oscar!!
WOW! Literally all I can say. My AC went out Tuesday 5/19. I called my home warranty because well, if I didnt and I hired outside of warranty Id have to pay for it. BIG MISTAKE. I spent the whole day suffering, and there was no need. After waiting all day for a call from my home warranty provider I was given a referral to AirCo from my boss, and oh my goodness what a treat. I called and they answered after 1 ring, super kind and informative they took my info and advised Id get a call back shortly. Within minutes and I mean this, just minutes I get a call from Technician, named Jeremy. He listens to my story and asks me about the things Id checked. Id missed something in my checks, the internal drain line inside the unit. Sure enough it was clogged, as soon as I released pressure the AC came back on immediately. They saved me so much money, and so much hassle. These people are kind and they really care about their end customer. Thank you AirCo for caring enough to help me without having to jump through hoops. You have a life long customer.

We had a outside leak, it appeared to us that water was coming out of the ground, so we thought it was a major break, the property is older 1940s pipe- we expected the worse... Airco was here within an hour ( to our elation and surprise!) .The tech immediately dug everything up and showed me what was going on, ( it was not a major break like I thought - it was a bad spigot and pipe joint) so relatively minor in comparison. He offered several options to repair it, went over and above to do a great job ( showed me the repair after wards before covering it back up ) cleaned up after himself ( even went so far as to put plastic down on the grass so the grass didnt get all muddy)--Honest- Fair - Prompt - thorough - great service!I am impressed and will def be using AIRCO from now on for all our repairs ( inside and out) !
Our AC completely broke down the other night. Within minutes we had a good quote from these guys. They came out the same day to take a look and finalize the quote. They would even have installed the same day, if I hadnt waited to get more quotes from others. They definitely had the best value, and they had it quickly installed the next day. An hour after install and my house is already down from 90 to 78 degrees!
We called them to have our a/c unit checked cause it was not cooling, they told us that it needed a leak detect done, we mentioned that we were gonna do a claim on it anyways and it seemed that they did not want to do the work cause they dont deal with insurance (I dont know why they would think that they would deal with our insurance when I am the person filing the claim), then we tried to call them back out, the office personnel is very nonchalant, very quick to get off the phone, it took a week for the technician to call back and when he finally did, again he says we dont deal with insurance. Again, I had to tell him that he/they are not dealing with the insurance, Im dealing with the insurance and then quoted me $370+ to do a leak detect, which they should have done on the first visit, which I paid $65 service charge for nothing.In Response to Owner:Why would you be dealing with my insurance company USAA anyways, I have never had any type of service done or provided a service (even when I was a field technician) where they/I had to deal with the clients insurance company.
Our repairman is named Tony, he is truly a professional, able to educate the homeowner on the issues involved with the AC . A very pleasant personality, great technical knowledge, and a great asset to your company. Very glad to have interacted with him. As an added bonus it turned out that we were both U. S. Army infantrymen.

I had two indoor plumbing disasters within 4 months. After 4 other companies, AIRCO Mechanical finally got my house taken care of and the indoor plumbing issues properly fixed. I wish I would have found them first. I am not just a satisfied customer, I am a grateful customer. I will officially never use any one else.
Martins professionalism and knowledge made me feel at ease. He assessed the unit and performed a spring maintenance. He made a few suggestions to extend the life of my unit but didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need at the time. I will definitely be calling AiRCO again in the future.
Junior came out on short notice and was able to diagnose and fix our AC unit in under an hour. He was very thorough in his explanation and we were very happy with his service.

Mr. Jon Ball performed routine maintenance on my AC that AirCo installed a few years ago. He courteously answered all my AC questions, and I learned I wasn’t doing my vents correctly. Now AC is quieter and more efficient. Thanks Jon and thanks AirCo.
Their tech, Jeremy was able to make a visit and tried to get parts for a 30 yr old discontinued fan blower before we decided to finance a new HVAC system. Their quote was $800 cheaper than competitors and only problem was not able to get installers for five days. Went with competitor that had an opening the next day because of a cancelation. Was impressed with Airco though.
James and Tavian had quite a feat changing out our 14 year old AC unit. They had to pull out the old one from our attic that was so bad covered in pollen, leaves and 3 inches of ice. They did not say one complaint and worked so hard! I have never been so impressed being in Texas till I am now with this company. We will be using them for other services and I look forward to it. From the sales person, to these technicians, and the first initial technician that came out to diagnose my unit, They were far beyond kind and professional. They treat you like family and I will forever will be using them in my lifetime!
Have called them twice for emergency repairs and very happy both times. First service by Robert to fix the capacitor and second by Tony to fix a clogged drain line. We were joking that Tony showed up at my door faster than a pizza would!! Seriously like 30 minutes after I called the after hours line, he was here. Fixed and AC back on within 20 minutes. Thank you!!!!
Our AC went out on a Friday night. We called AirCo Saturday morning and Jeremy was there within an hour. He quickly found the problem, made a temporary fix to get our house cooled and liveable, until we could schedule the permanent repair. He was extremely thorough, took pictures so we could see the issue without having to climb into the attic, explained what would be necessary to make the repair, and was super friendly and professional. Working with AirCo and their employees has been awesome!
