Our AC unfortunately went out on the hottest week this summer. Casa had a completely booked day and they squeezed in and were at my house early in the morning. The technician was able to figure out the problem right away which unfortunately is our coil. As he was inspecting the AC unit he realized the people who installed it made a mistake in a pipe that was supposed to be closed off (forgive me. I don’t know the technical words) the damage in the near future could have cost us thousands of dollars. The technician was not only honest about the mistake that was made but he left our home genuinely sorry he couldn’t fix our AC. He kept apologizing he had to leave the home with out a working AC. I was deeply concerned upon researching all the damage that could have been , if our coil had not stopped functioning, and found one small error. I called the company and they connected me with Tony, who was professional, made me feel heard as a customer, understood my concern, and he took care of me a concerned customer. He apologized for the mistake. More companies need to be like these two employees from CASA; HONEST, SINCERE, and, MAKE THEIR CUSTOMERS FEEL HEARD.Thank you CASA for the exceptional customer service.
Our HVAC unit stopped working. The issue was the furnace blower motor (plus other things). Austin Reynolds was our Tech and he was super professional, explained everything and the solution. Thank God Casa had the replacement so he came back hours later and installed it and fixed everything in one day. I want to say thank you to Austin R. for being super proactive and professional.
These guys came and installed a shower at a neighbor’s house a couple doors down, and left a giant cardboard box and big chunks of styrofoam in the middle of the street causing cars to have to try to drive around it. I picked up a few big pieces of styrofoam each time I walked my dog today, but the cardboard box is still in the middle of the street. Smh litterbugs. Shame on y’all.
Keith Harvey from CASA came to service my home. We were facing HVAC issue for almost 4 days and CASA team added us to their on-call the day after I called in. He took the time to fix the issues and continue to find the root cause of the problem all the way to the last detail. It was a simple wire short at the external unit but instead of just leaving it a unit issue, he took time to check every single wire and find the problem. He was friendly and am really glad the whole issue is resolved. Thank you Keith and CASA team!
These guys were employed by Meritage at Copperstone in Austin to install our HVAC systems and they did the absolute WORST job! More than five houses in our neighborhood have seen their compressors DIE in
On Dec.3 , 24. We had an issue with our heating system and Baldo came out and assessed the situation which was a bad blower motor which needed to be replaced. He returned 2 days later with the part and fixed the problem. He was courteous and quick. He was very professional and I will be requesting him from here on.
Please read this review to the end as there is an update from 10-12-23.We closed on a custom home from Jimmy Jacobs (Century Communities)in July of 2019. We have been systematically replacing toilets as the JJ salesman left the company before we got to the finished plumbing stage had neglected to specify the toilets we requested. Shown are pictures of the 3rd unit we are replacing as of 10-10-23. As can be plainly seen in the photos, the filler line comes out of the wall right at the top of the base molding keeping any trim from being flush to the wall. Also seen is the nice uncaulked pipe coming thru the wall. i will be rising this up so the trim fits properly and we get a good seal. Both units 1 & 2 which have been replaced suffered from the same issue with the filler line being too low on the wall. The hold down bolt on the left side of the toilet, as you face it, was not even finger tight. Notice the wax ring has not been compressed at all indicating their was never a seal between the toilet bowl and the pipe flange in the floor. That lack of a seal has caused considerable damage to the floor. The dark areas on the wood flooring are rotten and crumble with the slightest touch. I will be replacing that flooring before the installation of the new toilet. This is a basic installation which every plumbing company should have zero issues completing correctly. Unfortunately, this is but one of many issues weve encountered in a four4.5 year span. I will be posting additional pictures of errors, mistakes and poor workmanship soon. I consider this a code violation as well. Consider too, this is a powder room which rarely gets used and is not very old. Imagine issues which would arise had this been a bathroom with normal, everyday use. Also keep in mind, this home, when constructed, exceeded the 7 figure dollar mark. People expect a certain level of workmanship and/or competency in a subcontractor at that price point.I DO NOT recommend CASA Mechanical for your plumbing work be it new construction or repairs.10-12-23This review needs to be updated regarding Casa Mechanical. I had a response from them and have been in contact with Casas service manager Joe Koriath. Strangely, I have not heard from Century Communities. Joe & I discussed not only this issue but other items which have occurred since our warranty period was over. I am pleased, so far, with Casas response. They have offered multiple avenues of assistance in this and other matters we have encountered. This is an ongoing process but it needs to be noted, Casa did initiate contact because of my review and I will commend them for that. I will update this post as the process proceeds.10-24-23I contacted Joe K. at Casa mechanical after he responded to my post. I will say, I was more than surprised when they offered to have the flooring fixed by an outside source. Joe was very responsive to our needs on this which is more than I can say for so many other subs we encountered on our build. We were contacted by Abram Campos from Millennium Flooring. As i am a retired journeyman carpenter, I was impressed with Abrams attitude, his professionalism AND his work. (see photo) Im putting Casa mechanical back on my list of go to contractors and I definitely recommend Abram at Millennium Flooring. He is an independent owner and he does the work. Thanks to Joe & Casa Mechanical for doing whats right.
Do not use them they do not stand behind their work. Our AC unit was installed by Casa is 4yrs old and they will not stand behind the warranty. To top it off they never filed the warranty paperwork with the AC manufacturer so the company we have doing the repair will have to charge us for the part. They are horrible run as fast as you can this company is the worst.
We bought a New Giddens Home a few months back, this weekend was the 1st time using our heater in our home. The furnace started but never warmed the house. I called Casa Mechanical on Friday and was promised a technician would be here Saturday and after numerous phone calls no one showed Saturday. I received a call Saturday night and was promised a technician would come Sunday and no one came out till my builder called and emailed Casa Mechanical and the finally sent someone at 7pm on Sunday. I tried to diagnose the problem myself by using the internet and was able to find the reason why? The guys used automobile parts and other brand furnace units to patch my new home furnace together??
Dont use CASA Mechanical. CASA installed our AC unit during the home build 8 years ago. This week my unit had some problems. The technician from another company came out and diagnosed the problem. The zone board and furnace board were bad because of short cuts taken during installation. Bottom line they overloaded the boards on install and chose to not put a switch or two on there that would have prevented this from overloading.
I bought a newly built house. Due to an installation error with the duct work i had to have them come out and fix the issue, under warranty for the home, for the system they supposedly installed. Next year the ac compressor dies and again the fix it under warranty. Now the supposed duct the fixed has the same issue again, 3 years later, because the tech they sent out didnt fix it properly. The duct is separated by 2 or 3 inches from the upstairs duct and they wont send someone out to fixed their screw up for free because its no longer under warranty. I would at least hope that a company would stand behind its techs and fix the mistakes they have made. When your looking @ $85 for 15 min of work that is just plain rediculous. Attached are the best photos i can get of the duct in question.
Outstanding service Baldo is amazing he’s very knowledgeable of his job, he’s very professional he went and got the part we needed the same day. After returning with the part our heating system was up and running within 20 minutes I’m very please with the service.
They installed our air air condition when the house was built. They have come out yearly for our inspections and I’ve been very satisfied. This week our blower motor went out. Keith came out, diagnosed it and was able to order the part for the next day.Keith was very knowledgeable and also explained everything that he was doing. Thanks for the knowledge.JT
When I returned home from work Monday evening around 7:45pm 9/25/23 I noticed it was warm. Sure enough the thermostat read 80 degrees. Checked unit outside and it was not running. I called to report the emergency and was told it was not an emergency because my home was not 86 degree or hotter. We have children and a pet bulldog - who by breed, overheats easily. This home is less than 1 year old and we’ve only occupied it since July. After a sleepless hot evening, a technician finally came out at 10:45am because of course it’s not an emergency (I bet if it were THEM with a non working AC in Texas heat and humidity, it would be) to be told the compressor was broken and needed to be replaced. On a less than 1 year old unit. Poor quality and workmanship if you ask me. My previous home AC unit was 15 years old and worked perfectly. But this unit, not even a year old has a major component break- WOW!!! and even AFTER the issue was discovered, we were told it would take another 24 hours to “process” the paperwork to see if they had the part or if it needed to be ordered. What?!?!? 24 hours? So now it’s 84 degrees in my home but still not an emergency- so we’re pretty much told too bad- we’ll have to just wait. On 4 occasions I asked for a supervisor or manager- was sent to voicemail EACH time and even after leaving messages, no one even cared enough to call me back. This company is GARBAGE . And so is their customer service. I would not recommend using them for anything. We’re stuck unfortunately because it’s the unit that came with our home -yay for us. This isn’t the 1st service call either- this is actually #3 since taking possession of our home in July 2023. I’d give a zero if it was an option. Had to spend $450 on a portable AC u it so my dog and kid don’t overheat and die!!! But oh, it’s not an emergency. Ha!
Ray Ortiz was super helpful with our AC problems. We are so thankful he was able to come out on a Friday night to help fix the AC issue in our new build home. He was very professional and informative, and we would recommend him to anyone if you’re having HVAC trouble! Thanks again, Ray!
Casa Mechanical takes care of my twice a year checkup of my heating and AC so I decide to have them quote a system replacement. I bid 3 additional AC firms here in the Austin / Georgetown area. Gino at Casa provided me a lot of good information and I decided to go with a two Carrier 5 stage 4 ton units. One of the units is zoned in 3 different areas of our house. Casa had the best price and in addition said they could do the work in 1 day where the other firms quoted 2 days. The team Casa sent out to do the work was professional and friendly and left our house very clean after they were done. They showed up a little before 8:00 am and were finished by 3:00. I would recommend Casa for maintenance or any AC replacement.
Unfortunately Lennar uses casa mechanical for the HVAC and plumbing, if you know about casa mechanical you will know they are hands down the worst HVAC and plumbing company to have ever existed. They do subpar work and have negligent “technicians” who barely know anything about HVAC and plumbing. We had an issue with the HVAC air handler leaking in our attic and none of their “technicians” could figure it out, not surprised. They sent out a technician 6 times and all they did was fiddle with it and tape it up, one technician insignificantly moved a drain line which obviously did nothing. The whole time it was a cracked drain pan under the evaporator coil, rocket science to these guys. I will also note the technicians are extremely unprofessional, they are rude, will cuss up a storm while “working” and leave trash everywhere, not to mention won’t fix the problem because they can’t figure it out. You would be better off getting chuck in a truck. I would avoid casa mechanical at all cost, and that is an understatement.
POST REVIEW UPDATE BELOW THE ORIGINAL REVIEW-Very disappointing experience with CASA that began after the purchase was made. During the last few years we have bought 3 A/Cs and 2 water heaters for our home from CASA. Unfortunately after all the installations the problems began. The 5 ton AC began to leak and less than a year after install. When the technician came to take a look last week, he said the problem was with the manufacturer. He “fixed” it and left. And then 4 hours later, the leak sprung again into our living room from the unit. The technician came back and spent a couple of hours and “fixed it”. He said the actual unit was installed at a tilt and the blower was programmed too high, it was an installation problem. He left and when I went up to check on the unit, he had forgotten to put the AC panel back on. He was a good man, but gosh the story doesn’t end there. Today , feeling uncomfortable about this AC, I called to get someone to come in and service it since I have a prepaid service plan with CASA. The answer from the service department was, “Sorry the summer service schedule is CLOSED.” Incredible. For now they plan to come after 2 months when service opens again. Crazy.UPDATE- After I posted the review, I contacted Gino in sales (who is top notch btw) and he got service to come out this morning and provide the service. He is superb and I’m hoping his customer focused approach and problem solving permeates Casa a bit more. Good follow up from Gino.
Follow up. Joe personally came out to my house and fixed my drain. He explained what he did and got it fixed. I really appreciate him coming out personally to fix it. I had also had a hvac issue. The hvac tech was very knowledgeable and also explained the repairs.
Its clear that the sewer pipe was not installed correctly, and despite evidence from a third-party plumber confirming this, Casa has yet to acknowledge it as a build defect. This lack of acknowledgment is concerning, especially considering the ongoing nature of the issue and the potential consequences. I urge Casa to recognize and address this matter promptly to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
We bought a townhome from DR Horton that Casa Mechanical did the installation of the HVAC units. I didnt notice and obviously neither did DR Horton inspectors that Casa had sealed the filter compartment of the attic furnace unit with tape and mastic. I dont know if there is an old filter in there since it has been a couple years ( I have been just placing filters in the returns as normal since I did not notice the filter compartment was actually there). I contacted DR Horton and they said that Casa told them there was no filter in the attic unit and it wasnt their problem anymore. I want the unit correctly installed and the filter compartment accessible, so I contacted Casa on their website over a week ago and got no response.I guess I have to leave a bad review and see if it gets me the attention and correction I deserve. I understand there are more townhomes that have the same problem. If there is an old filter in the unit, it is sure to be clogged and affecting the efficiency of the unit.In order to contact me, look at messages sent through your website contact for my info.
Cole came out to our house this morning and quickly fixed our leak. He gave some great advice and tips for plumbing maintenance and was very professional. I dont think we will have any more issues but if we do, Ill know who to call.
CASA mechanical installed our AC into our home when it was a new build in 2015. Last year, our AC had a difficult time keeping up with the triple-digit heat. So to be proactive, in May we asked CASA to come out and do a service check on our unit. We were charged nearly $300 for no repairs but got a clean bill of health. 3 months later, and its 85 degrees in the house. I call CASA, and they tell me that air conditioners can only cool air up to 20 degrees so if its 105 outside it makes sense that it would be 85 in the house! And that there probably wasnt much they could do but they could send someone out (for another fee) but it would need to wait 2-3 weeks. So I call a local guy and he gets in there and finds the problem right away. A coil in the refrigeration unit had rusted out so bad that it was leaking oil. Something that obviously didnt happen in just 3 months. So how did CASA miss that ?To add insult to injury, the unit we purchased from Lennox usually comes with a 10 year extended parts warranty, it just needs to be registered. Usually the mechanic that installs it would do that. BUT CASA DIDNT. And because they didnt register our unit, the part that would usually be under warranty after 5 years, ISNT UNDER WARRANTY.So why is it that not only did CASA cost us $1800 on a part because they failed to do a simple task of registering a serial number online, MISSED a major issue when they came for a service call in MAY, or told me a BLANTANT LIE about how its normal for a house to be 85-88 degrees inside with the air-conditioner running full blast when its 105 degrees outside??
Im giving Casa a two-star because Im just now learning that I lost out on a potential extra 5 years on a carrier warranty which subsequently resulted in me having to pay for a $1,000 part that I would have not had to pay for if Casa would have told me that I needed to register the unit. Nobody told me that I needed to register the unit to get an additional 5 years warranty. Obviously if I would have been told that I would have done so promptly. The only reason Im not giving a one-star is because they did do a good job on the install for a reasonable price, but its upsetting that no one let me know about this warranty registration process. After speaking with Joe and voicing my opinion on how important it is that they make sure their customers register their system to add an additional 5 years to their warranty He explained that they did 1500 systems last year and they cant be expected to help people through that process. I have a hard time believing they cant get one of their front desk girls to spend 15 minutes on each PO to make sure that gets done. Joe did offer to help me out with any future issues with the system given the circumstances of this issue.
CASA Mechanical services have been amazing with helping me through my issues. I feel like sometimes I may be making things difficult but Toni the supervisor over there has been amazing. My thermostat burnt out and Toni sent someone here same day to replace it. I was having issues using the features the next day so I called the manufacturer tech support and they were not helpful whatsoever. So I called Toni and he said he can have someone out here again same day to to help me with it. Awesome team. Oh the field tech that came out the first time was great as well because he spent his time with me after the install to walk me through some questions I had about my ac system and he every went up in to my attic to look at it with me. Great service! Keep it guys!
Howdy Yall, welcome to the never ending summer. Want to thank Joe, Dennis and Ricky for keeping me and my family cool. Work was excellent and price too but the service as always the Best. Casa Mechanical doing it right:)
I just moved into a newly built DR Horton house where casa mechanical installed the air conditioner. I called the emergency line when our AC shut off and it was 89 degrees. I placed the call in the morning and was told that someone would be there between the time of the call and the end of the day because a tech was already in the subdivision. Later I called to check on the status and was told they would be out the next day. My DR Horton superintendent called them after because this is an emergency considering we have 3 kids in the house and one is 3 months old. They said there was nothing they could do. My complaint is that I was not told that my appointment was rescheduled and now I am currently sweating inside our house with nowhere to take the kids.
Terrible customer service! My home still under warranty, and they wanted to charge me for an emergency leak that I had connected to the main water line next to the meter and the connector of the irrigation system. Then later called to harass me for payment and whenever I was trying to have a conversation, continue to rudely interrupt me. We couldn’t come to an understanding. If I could give them zero stars I would. I talked to the builder and in fact, Casa was supposed to charge only the builder and not the homeowner. This is the way they conduct business they are on the path of self-destruction. I know everyone has a bad day but two employees screaming at me over the phone for a payment and being unprofessional isn’t a fluke, ITS THEIR WAY OF CONDUCTING BAD BUSINESS!
Our air conditioner suddenly stopped working during the recent heat wave. Due to a serious health issue, this was a dangerous situation. Casa Mechanical Services really stepped up. Unlike the first company we contacted, Casa was very responsive to our particular situation and treated us more than fairly. Within two days they had our AC system up and running. From now on, we’re sticking with Casa.
Casa Mechanical arrived at my home to service my AC unit, their technician proceed to break my unit. Casa Mechanical informed me that they didn’t have the parts needed to fix the unit, and would not have the part for another 4 days. If you want timely and competent service, do not call Casa.
We have purchased two heat pumps from CASA. A 5 ton Trane 1 yr ago and smaller Carrier unit 7 yrs ago. They had the best prices with a better installs than the home builder. Today, they were serviced by Keith. He was Friendly, Honest, Efficient and Professional. Very Happy with CASA!
Osvaldo and his crew from CASA arrived this morning to diagnose and fixed a very stubborn clogged A/C drain. He quickly discerned there was another issue in addition to the clog. New fittings into the unit as well as cutting out much of the old drain and replacing with a new one took less than an hour including the cleanup. Osvaldo and his crew were very professional, courteous, and meticulous. I was extremely pleased with their work from start to finish.
Casa Mechanical just replaced both of our Carrier A/C and heating units. I can Honestly say Aldo and his crew were GREAT . From the protection and caring of our home and Professional and timely work they performed was extremely impressive. I worked in the Professional service arena for over four decades and I certainly know what it takes to run a high quality service business and from top level of management through every single team member it takes a NO B.S. commitment everday to Pride and Quality.I give my Highest Recommendation to Casa Mechanical. My Sincere ThanksDave Cruz
Casa was chosen by our builder, DR Horton, to install and service our HVAC unit. It has been an unresolved issue for over 3 years. One bedroom and an open loft upstairs sound like a jet engine taking off when the a/c is running and it is typically very cold. Meanwhile, the front downstairs bedroom averages between 75-85 in the spring/summer. In the winter, we nearly freeze downstairs while the upstairs in comfortable. We have installed ceiling fans and change the direction based on the season. There are two difference controls for the unit. They work against each other so there is no way to keep the house at an optimum temperature. We gave up asking for them to address it. More recently (winter) a part appeared to be out, so we called bc it should be under warranty. They came out and said they replaced the part. Unfortunely the unit is not working as designed. They came out two other times with no difference. When we want to switch the unit from ac to heat, I flip the breaker on and off, climb up in the attic and reset the box (the one they claim to have replaced) to get it working. We have decided to hire a different company to tell us how to make this unit work better.I havent written this review until now because we have received a statement from Casa (Round Rock) repeatedly even though we have told them it is not repaired and has never worked to our satisfaction. I have no intention of paying it after all the times of no one showing up, nothing repaired/replaced and absolutely no concern about doing what clearly needs to be addressed.
Four years ago I needed a new AC unit. Casa Mechanical was recomended to me and I called them. They were very informative, and were able to replace my system without incurring exorbitant costs. Since then, I have had service calls at an affordable price. Recently my thermostat stopped working. I called them out and they were able to make repairs quickly and affordably. i highly recommend Casa Mechanical.
I want to give a special thank you and shout out to the Casa Mechanical Services Team. Beginning with the HVAC consult, onward to scheduling, and ending today with the installation of a new unit my personal experience at every touch point was awesome! Special recognition to Rey, Paul, and Diego shown in the picture. They did a great job! With much gratitude,Lisa Dawson
Made a call into the emergency line and received no response. Called in the morning and they gave me an earliest of 3 days out. Bear in mind we have no heat. Should have listened to the multiple neighbor issues. Will definitely never use them again.Update from previous 1 star review: Spoke with Joe and the issue was rectified within 2 hours of contact beyond what I felt was reasonable. Tony explained what happened and why, which is perfect for us who know nothing about the system, but want it to work right. I will continue to work with Joe, Tony, and their team in the future.
Purchased a home from Lennar 10/28/22 (15 months ago) the AC unit has never worked properly. CASA came to look at the unit and provided the standard answer that its hot outside and as long as the unti is cooling within 20 degrees of the outside temperature it is functioning within normal standards. No one ever went into the attic to check the zoning board or the DATS sensor. I finally had someone come out to look at it and they determined the DATS is bad and needs to be replaced. I called CASA since they installed the unit during construction. I spoke to Dawn and explained I need a replacement sensor. She of course wants to send someone out to look at it, I said no. I dont feel I should be charged to have someone come look to only determine I need a replacement part. So she said I need to call Honeywell. I asked for information on my unit and all she could tell me is a 2 ton carrier unit. I find it hard to believe that CASA dies not know which model number was installed. Fast forward, I called Honeywell...they looked up the model number for the part but said the part has to be ordered through the contractor so back to CASA I go. Called Dawn 129.00 and 22 each 15 minutes after that for them to come look and then they can order the part. Prior to that they are unable to order the part at all. So this boils down to money. CASA wants to make money on a service call that is not needed or they will not order the 75.00 part for me. I will wind up ordering the part myself and having it installed by CSR Service. At least this HVAC contractor is honest and is not trying to just make money off his customers.EDIT-I spoke to Robert after Dawn offered for me to speak to someone else if I didnt like her answer (which I didnt). They have agreed to replace the sensor as it is warrantied as long as I bring the bad sensor in.
Our AC broke and our usual repair company couldn’t get out for 5 days. Called Casa and they came out same day and installed our new unit the next day!!! Joe and his team were very friendly and went above and beyond to get us back up and running! Not only was their customer service stellar, their price for the new unit was very competitive with others.
Sadly our warranty from our home builder is with them. They never return calls on their emergency line. AC goes out in record breaking triple digit heat? You’d think you’d get a call back in a timely manner. Wrong, on average it takes about a week just to call and schedule and appointment, while the person on the other line is incredibly rude. They installed this system and it has failed 3 times in 3 years. Twice for the AC, and once for the heat.Even if your warranty is through them, save yourself the headache and call someone else to fix it. A warranty is worthless if the company that’s supposed to do the work never does it.
DO NOT!They installed my A/C unit roughly 4 yrs ago. Yesterday when my A/C was not cooling I attempted to get service but was emailed that Im not a priority nor could i be assisted at all. My parts warranty does not expire until Sept 2024.Their response: Good morning right now we are only able to schedule for homes that are still within their labor warranty due to the full schedule. Your warranty expired in 2021 so we would not be able to schedule a service call for you. You would need to contact a different company for service. ROBERT KENLY
Casa mech installed hvac 4 years ago and system has worked fine till this extremely long hot heat wave. Well our unit will not get below 79-80 without freezing up and stopping the unit from delivering cold air. Had a local company come out twice to no resolve. Upon meeting with the owner of the local company he informed me that the unit was not sized properly and an undersized condenser (smaller) was installed with a larger unit in the attic. That and no expansion valve along with another part installed backwards is the reason it won’t cool my house properly.I guess being a new home at the time they can cut corners with the homeowner knowing any different. So now it’s out of warranty according to the receptionist but I hardly think this is a warranty issue and more like a lack of knowledge in installing a properly paired and sized system. I asked to speak with manager and was informed he would return my call. Well nothing for 2 weeks now.
Schedule means nothing.1st scheduled for 8-12 (even cable doesnt do that any more) and called @ 1200 and apparently I wasnt even on the schedule (interesting as my phone log showed me calling).Rescheduled for 8-12 the following Friday. No word thru the morning and called at 1145. This time on the schedule but the tech is 1-2 hours out. No call or text about being late. Again, Casa is the new cable company. The phone team gives impression of it being a hassle and uninterested.I give a 2 stars because their techs are usually okay though inconsistent.Added a star - received a call from Casa apologizing for the scheduling and taking personal responsibility. I appreciate taking the time and concern as Im sure this review hadnt even been seen yet.
We just had a great experience with CASA technician who came to address E3 error on Digital Ventilator. Not only he identified missing connection to thermostat in the unit outside of our house and fixed that. He was also able to address issue with Stage2 cooling/heating not working. No surprise we had 80F in our house during the summer. Anferny did a great job in less then an hour. I strongly recommend this service.
Casa Mechanical installed 2 Carrier HVAC units for us this week. Their installation team, headed by Gino and Gus, was efficient, prompt, thoughtful, and mannerly. Having dreaded this project for the past couple of years, we were delighted at the ease of the experience itself. We have used Casa for many years for our semi-annual HVAC maintenance checks.
I called my builder for a new build warranty claim as our inspector showed the temperature differential was off. The technician Chance showed up for our appointment on time and friendly, explained the possible reasons for the results my inspector found, and made sure he got the correct readings and showed me before leaving. Employees like Chance give Casa Mechanical a good name and should be recognized accordingly. If I ever have an issue again, Ill be requesting him specifically.
Great Experience / Great Deal! Just wanted to share and refer this company for full HVAC replacement. I have had two full units installed by Casa and both installs went very well with on time arrival, quick completion, and excellent quality and cleanup! Thanks go to Dennis as our sales person and Gus and his crew on both installs!
This is a great company!! They have replaced my garbage disposal, unclogged my kitchen sink and replaced my water staff are always on time, professional and really know what they are doing! They always take good care of me and I wont call anyone else! 5 + stars...highly recommend!!
EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE! Our BRAND NEW a/c wasnt cooling properly and Casa Mechanical is contracted on our home warranty so we gave them a call. They came out and identified the problem and ordered the part. After a few days they came back to install the part on a Friday afternoon (today). Before even checking that they brought the right part, they took apart my a/c unit THAT WAS COOLING BEFORE THEY TOUCHED IT and THEN told us that they brought the WRONG part and refused to put our a/c back together! So now our a/c is completely OFF and broken. Before they took it apart, it was only running a few degrees warm. I called and spoke to someone and he told me they will not come back out until Monday so we will have to deal with our house having a broken a/c in 108 degree heat all weekend! I asked to speak to a manager and they transferred me to a voicemail. I would NEVER do business with this company! Their hold music even says We treat your home like our own. which is a total lie. Incompetence, zero empathy and no ownership for their own mistakes.
They are the worst company! Submitted a warranty claim for my AC unit that is not working properly. Sent a technician out while my daughter was home he was in my house for a total of 7 minutes and then proceeded to tell my daughter everything was working fine! How is that enough time to properly inspect the issue! When I called back to casa air to get that technician back out here to do his job right the girl that answered Megan stated they would be back out here and that she apologized that it wasn’t inspected correctly. Still waiting for tech in their texas heat! Temp in my house currently is 84 degrees and they don’t seem to care or to do their job efficiently! Do yourself a favor and choose another company to get you air conditioning needs from because obviously this Company isn’t worth a damn!
Since purchasing our DR Horton home in May 2019 our AC unit has broken 1-2 times every summer. The unit is only under warranty for 2 years therefore when we call to have someone come out through the emergency line (because it’s either night when we realize or the weekend) they are unable to come out promptly and have us put on the calendar for more than a week out. Last year we were able to get someone else out sooner prompting us to cancel with Casa. This year we are looking elsewhere after being told it would be more than a weeks wait again. They also charge $109 for the first 30 minutes of service and an additional $22/15 min after that. This is not including parts or repair time. My issue is that this is a 4 year old unit that has continuously broke every year sometimes more than once and they have no issue with making you wait to come fix their equipment that clearly fails to keep up with the demands of Texas. I’ve also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because the quality of your equipment and your lack of care for customers without warranty is absolutely unacceptable.
New unit installed two years ago, multiple failures and their techs take forever to troubleshoot, messy installs to boot. No time estimates on service calls. Just sit in your uncomfortable house until they are able to head your way. Im done. Forget about their warranty, Ill find someone else to service this piece of carrier garbage.
We bought a brand new home but for some reason one of the furnaces didnt seem to be functioning quite right. It would go into this lock down mode and we would have to wait several hours for it to reset. We called Casa Mechanical Services and they sent someone out that day. Chance looked at our system, tried a few different things, and then came up with a theory as to why it wasnt working correctly. He ordered a simple part and came right back. After working with his team via telephone (they support each other in ways I wish my teams would) he had the system up and running, just in time for the upcoming freezing weather. We are super happy with his professionalism, his determination, and his sense of ownership of the problem.
I am a real estate agent and have a client with a new home. The air conditioner is not large enough for the square footage. Between the builder and Casa Mechanical they are not correcting the problem. We even had an outside inspector that explained why the air is not cooling. NO ONE at Casa will call me back or email me. I am livid for my clients and the lack of professionalism.
Evan and the folks at Casa were incredible. They helped us out when both of our air conditioning units went out. Evan was so responsive to our needs. He came over the same day I called Casa despite it being a very busy time of the year for them. He quoted us a very reasonable price, much more reasonable than some competitors. He also personally returned to our home and installed temporary AC units to make our home much more comfortable. A few days later the install team showed up exactly on time and replaced both units. Evan was very responsive throughout the entire process and followed up multiple times to make sure we were pleased. I would not hesitate to use him or his company in the future.
Our 19 year old Carrier AC unit was ready for retirement. It was a Currier installed by CASA and performed remarkably well all those years. I mostly knew what I wanted and got 5 quotes on a new unit for a whole package 2 stage AC, gas heater, blower, dampers and control panel. CASA was the most competitive considering some of the other quotes were lesser brands. Knowing the install was important to have done right I had a lot of follow up questions for Gino, the sales person I worked with. Gino was great! He was quick to reply to my emails and phone calls, never tried to upsell or pressure me in any why; he was knowledgeable and always respectful. The installers were equally professional. They were polite, cleaned up and got everything installed in good time. The only bump was one piece of the unite was a more expensive part than I had ordered. No problem. They acknowledged the mistake and gave me the more expensive piece without additional charge or hassle. Thanks Gino and all the folks at CASA!
Dennis represents the best in knowledgeable professional service. He came out quickly and helped us avoid being taken advantage of by another company. We are extremely grateful for his honesty and his concern. We can highly recommend Dennis and Casa Mechanical.
Casa Mechanical was referred to us by friends and we could not be more satisfied. Needed an entire new heating/air conditioning system including duct work. The sales representative, Gino, was at our house 2 days after we contacted Casa, explained what was needed, and had our installation appointment set up as we requested. Never felt like we were being pressured into the sale. The installation crew under the supervision of Aldo was amazing. Two crews came out and were able to complete the job in one day! They were on time, professional, and cleaned up after the work was completed. It is hard to decide who to choose in general , let alone when you need the job completed quickly, and especially when spending a good chunk of change on a project like this. Without a doubt we are very pleased and would recommend highly!
Technician Aferny was very professional and immediately found my problem with the AC unit. He thoroughly explained to me why my system was not blowing cool air. Thank you for the great services. The price was economically affordable. Kudos to his customer service and knowledgeable skills! I will definitely use this company again because they installed the system during the construction of my house in 2014. I had this system for nine years.
I would say this is a borderline dishonest company (and this is the first negative review I have ever given in my life). Casa did the plumbing work in our new home. I will skip over the fact that we had numerous plumbing issues arise that I simply find unacceptable for a new home. The thing I find most egregious is that we paid our builder a significant amount of money to have the ability to install a soft water unit down the road if we ever chose to do so. While every other builder in our area used piping that could fit on a standard soft water unit, Casa used a very non-standard size pipe (I believe 1.25) that would be incompatible with virtually any soft water unit you will find at a neighborhood Costco or Home Depot. After speaking to literally half a dozen different plumbers, I was consistently told that the only reason Casa would have done this is so that they could hopefully charge an arm and a leg later to get a soft water unit installed through them.In other words, if Casa did the plumbing in your new home, be strongly warned that their piping for a soft water unit will not be compatible with the soft water units you will find at Home Depot or Costco. You will be required to pay an arm and a leg to someone to make them compatible using a special tool that is not cheap. Seems like a double slap in the face that we had to pay our builder so much money and then we would be required to pay so much more again to make it compatible with virtually any soft water unit. None of the other builders in my area did this (after speaking to countless friends in our area who were able to install the units on their own) which goes to show how shady of a company Casa really is.
Hector came into look at a couple of issues with our plumbing system. He was very courteous and did an amazing job and fixed the issues very quickly.Very happy with the service!
Mr. Dennis Willis, from Casa Mechanical, was very honest. We are very thankful for his quality service. We had asked someone, before Mr. Willis came, to check-up on an AC that was not working like it used to. They came and disconnected our AC, and told us we needed a new one. And, they told us we needed to change out the other one, a year later. They would only give us an estimate for two ACs. We had wanted an estimate for either one or two ACs. Later, we wanted to spend money on just replacing one AC, because it would be cheaper. But, after asking them, they did not give us the estimate for getting one new AC.So, we asked Mr. Willis, from Casa Mechanical, to come to give us an estimate on how much that one new AC would cost. He noticed the AC was disconnected, so he reconnected it for us. Turned out, we did not need a new AC at all.We thank Mr. Willis for being honest, and offering quality service to the customer. We would definitely want to call back. It is not easy to find honest service these days. Thank you, Mr. Willis!
This is a new house and builder went with Casa for plumbing in this house. Casa did a terrible job installing the faucets and shower head through out the house. When I raise a warranty request, they dont want to fix them right. They use a technique to trick the warranty customers. In my case, they have to order parts for repairs. They called me and said, they have the parts ready and scheduled an appointment for repairs. One day before installation, they called me and canceled the appointment saying that part is not available and they will call you when parts arrive. 2 - 3 months fly by, they never called me. You need to followup and they will differ to the builder. They did this cheap trick multiple times during the first year journey..Still fighting with Casa to standby their work. DO NOT have Casa touch your plumbing needs. They are terrible with installations and finds all kinds of excuses not to do the job right. They dont do the job right during the first time. They deliberately do poor installation so that you will pay them extra on service calls.Frontdesk who picks up our calls is extremely rude. They lie to you about parts, about scheduling and everything possible. Hope I never have to call them again.Calling your known plumber will do a better job.
Evan was amazing! Extremely professional and helpful during the entire process of having my AC system replaced, answered every single question I had and even address items I hadnt thought of.Paul and his crew did the install and did a fantastic job. The crew was so respectful, professional and very detail oriented. They cleaned up after the job and took away the old unit and all debris and packaging from the new one. They even did a spot check to make sure no screws/nails were left behind in the street/driveway/garage. Very knowledgeable, efficient, and thorough with their work.Replacing the system was one of the best decisions Ive ever made and having Casa do the work made the experience quick and painless and they gave me a great deal!
Casa is a true customer focused small business you can trust. We called them, based on a neighbor referral, to look at our heating not working. They determined the heating was fine, but the nest itself was malfunctioning. Instead of giving us a big bill just for coming out, they said they were happy to help and not to worry about the call! Being in customer success myself, I was very impressed and grateful. They didnt try to fix things that didnt need fixing, didnt leave us a big questionable bill, and they were utmost polite and professional, looking out for our interests alone. Absolutely recommend - wonderful team - honest! Thank you, Casa!!!
Excellent experience from start to end with Casa Mechanical. We had an older A/C unit that was struggling to cool our second floor. It was leaking the R-22 refrigerant, which is being phased out by the Federal Government. After researching the matter, it made sense to replace the unit, even though Casa offers a very fair deal to recharge these units. Evan was fantastic to deal with and gave us all of our options and his recommendations. I cant imagine a better person to work with to address an A/C issue. Everything was explained thoroughly and the work was done in one day just a few days after we made our decision. The crew lead by Gus was also great to deal with on the day of the install. I just cant say enough good things about Casa and will certainly be a return customer. I also really like how it is their crews and employees that do the job and the work is not sub-contracted out. Choose Casa, you wont regret it!
My house was hot and the ac was blowing warm air. I called Casa and spoke with Joe Pringle. They came out the same day then Dennis and Rick repaired my electronic capacitor thingy. They were so nice and professional. Now me and the family arent panting any more.
Joe Pringle is an excellent responsive manager and the reason we stuck with Casa after buying our home six years ago. However, the scheduling people are rude, judgmental and lack any sense of customer service. After six years and purchasing contract each year, we have been forced to look for another service provider. When trying to schedule routine service, we, a loyal customer, were told they cannot schedule us (contract holder) for 3 or 4 months! The person chastised us on the phone, wrongly stating we never called for our regular maintenance and so even as we have a contract, could not help us for 3 or 4 months. We are diligent about maintenance, never wanting to ignore it for fear of a problem down the road. So we try to schedule maintenance 2 X a year. When we asked to talk to a manager, we were told no one was available. We hate to go elsewhere, but Casa Mechanical seems not to care about people like us who purchase a contract and still make it impossible to schedule service. So much for our loyalty to one service provider.
This review is to show appreciation for the gentleman Rick that came out to our house this morning. We were his first call of the day. He was a true professional and when I asked if he had shoes booties he right away went and got them and put them on before entering. He identified the problem and fixed it within minutes.Rick was beyond excellent. He also called before arriving and that was fantastic because I’ve got a full house with a toddler and 2 dogs.Rick is fantastic and I would feel comfortable and confident with him in my home to service our ac and heating.Rick deserves recognition for his hard work and dedication. Being an AC technician is hard grueling work.Thank you Rick! You made my day also, with the Maytag commercial joke.I want Casa to know how lucky they are as an organization that Rick is part of their team.Thank you Rick!!!
Casa was our warranty company for our house. Then we had an issue this weekend and the lady that called us was SO RUDE, she had the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a business. She basically said we can’t help you so if you need emergency repair you can call back during regular business hours. I’m not upset because she couldn’t help. I’m disappointed because she was rude and dismissive. I have pets and a senior that lives in my house. We can’t be in a house with no air when it’s 100+ degrees outside.
Without a doubt, Casa is the most superb, professional, knowledgable and accommodating in the plumbing business! We had our house on the market and no longer living there. During inspection it was reported there was no hot water. We had ongoing issues with one particular water heater, but were insured it was fixed (after inspection). Just 5 business days before we were scheduled to close on our house, we discovered there was, once again, no hot water!Understandably, I was extremely upset to the point of tears as the buyers could have easily backed out of the transaction and/or sued us if we didnt disclose and get it fixed before closing! This would have left us in a financial ruin! The warranty on our hot water heater had also just expired! Due to the short notice of only 5-4 days to get this turned around, I reached out to an executive team member who not only got someone out the next day....but replaced the water heater for no additional charge!!! My husband is a retired plumber and even he was shocked...had never heard of such wonderful customer service without any hassle! Their customers truly do come first!Thank you Casa and team. Im just so happy and relieved to know you installed the systems in our new house build. Im even going to start another regular service contract with yall!!Thanking you and God bless you!!!Suzanne & William
It will be an understatement to say that I am completely satisfied.Evan and his team at Casa Mechanical provided me with constant guidance and support time and time again. The work provided - installed two HVAC units in our condo - was absolutely flawless. They have delivered on time and below the the quoted amount. Yes they passed on to me the savings from the manufacturer with me even asking.I have been using Casa Mechanical for plumbing and maintenance for more than 6 months now and I cannot be more pleased with their professionalism, honesty and punctuality..Truly a 5 star service across the board.Thank you Evan
Although Casa Mechanical didn’t have any available appointments I was insured a tech would be out today. Around an hour later My technician called & Baldo came right over. Moreover he corrected both my heating issues within minutes. I appreciated his knowledge & professionalism as he explained what happened & i definitely recommend their services to anyone
I have used Casa Mechanical twice in the past year for replacement HVAC systems in both commercial and residential applications. On both occasions they were on time, competitively priced and executed a professional installation. The professionalism didnt stop with the installation of the units. Aldo and his crew thoroughly checked each units mechanical functions ( including checking all drain lines), explained how the new thermostats operated as well as cleaned up both the attic and downstairs work areas. In this day of high prices and low quality, its encouraging to find a company that applies old school values to new age technology with outstanding results.
Shout out to CASA, and Baldo specifically, for coming out today to help fire up our furnace after our builder forgot to make the call before closing. He was very nice, professional and explained the process in detail. He also advised us to replace our filter, making an additional trip to the attic just to give us the model we’d need. Really appreciate you! Thanks for keeping us warm. 💛
Hector & Joe were able to repair my water heater problem and while they were here they repaired my master-bath faucet handle that I thought would need to be replaced. All done at No Charges because we have their annual service contract for our plumbing & A/C. Great work by these two excellent technicians and a big Thank-you to CASA Mechanical in Round Rock!
CASA did a great job for me! Evan and his staff were great to work with and did a super job on my house as well as my rent house. Evan and staff went above and beyond to make sure my family and tenants were taken care of in the heat of summer! Not only did they install a great unit but they also were by far the best price as well. I will recommend Evan and his staff any day!
The experience with Casa was excellent from the bid we received from Blake early on, to the exceptional work done by Dennis and Cole to install a 1-ton mini-split system with cassette in an apartment we have on our property. The craftsmanship was super, they cleaned up everything and made sure we knew how to run the system and take care of it. They even took care of another issue we had with a thermostat inside of our home while they were there, going the extra mile. I would recommend Casa for anyone looking for a quality HVAC company to work with.
3 calls and now I have to pay? I am very disappointed by how my issue was handled. After 5 years in my home my AC unit needed to have a drain line cleared. While fixing this issue I asked the technician if he had any idea why my sons bedroom was so much warmer than the other rooms upstairs. He explained that the duct work was not done properly causing the issue and advised I contact my builder Highland Homes. Highland passed me to Casa Mechanical as they did the original install. Note, I had Casa come out when we moved in to check this room and they said it was working as designed so we installed ceiling fans, etc. Now that I have a second opinion I called Casa for help. I ended up talking to a manager named Tom as I am out of warranty and he said they would come out and give it a look as he could not tell if anything was wrong from the photos the other technician had supplied. I was under the impression that they would come out and give it a review at no charge. After calling back 3 times for the appointment I was told I would have to pay a service fee for them to come out and check. Sorry, I will go spend my $s else where.
EDITED—Not sure where my original review went but whoever is answering the phones has to go. I have had to deal with her twice and my patience are gone. I’m not sure how many people have to tell you she’s not fit to answer the phone before you take a hint. If your company had not been the original installer on our system I would have cussed her out and gone to the next business. It makes me question the entire company if you can turn a blind eye to 12 people in even less months all saying the same thing about one particular employee. If only 1 or 2 people say there is a problem, ok maybe it’s them, after that you have to look at yourself.Really hope our actual service goes well so I can at least add that to this comment.—Jason was our service tech and he was awesome. Came in handled business and took time to explain it all to my wife. If they fired the phone lady I’d give them 5 stars.
Recently had a furnace install. Evan was very professional and informative in determining the size of the unit we needed, and the options. The crew was on time and cared about getting our house dirty by putting on booties. The unit was tempermental and needed a little adjustment a day after we started it up. Evan, got us on track by getting his expert out to our home right away. The expert adjusted the fan speed and everything was working just fine. It has been 2 weeks now, and it is still good. I have used Casa since 2008 when they did the install of 2 units in my home under construction. They have always done a good job! I would, and have recommended casa for all my a/c needs. They will make it right! Give them a call 1st when you need some work done.
I am very disappointed with the level of service that I had received throughout multiple visits while both under my house warranty and after it had expired. Ever since I moved into my new home, I have had to call out a service technician each summer for a mechanical failure. With this being the third year I had the same mechanical trouble with my AC not working fully. Either it would only work upstairs, downstairs or not at all. Each time the technician would come out they would spend less than an hour turning things off and back on in sense resetting the system. This treated the symptoms only and not the actual cause.Fast forward to this this summer, same issue with my AC not working. I called to have a tech come out to look at the device. He spent about a half hour at my place for which I was charged $105. The only thing he did was power the unit off and back on and replace the thermostat. This was on a Thursday. I find out later on that Saturday the AC goes off entirely.I had made an attempt to get a tech out again but schedules conflicted, and I missed the window. I called a different repair technician who was able to come out the same day. The individual spent well over four hours working on my unit to make sure it would start to work. He even ended up having to call in his boss to find out what was going on with the system. As it turned out, multiple issues had occurred including lose wires, a broken board, and low on coolant. They explained to me to get everything up and running with replacements it would be around $1000. I was very upset to hear the number. In all the times I had someone come out to look at my equipment from Casca Mechanical, not one agent went the extra mile to find out what was really going on with my equipment. If they had, I cant help but think the repair bill would have been less or even none at all. It is very frustrating that I live in a brand new house with everything being just over three years old and already a major competent has broken down.TL:DRIf your AC breaks down under warranty with Casa Mechanical, call a real technician to come out and look it over. Better to pay a service call around $89 than to have to fork over a $1000 due shoddy work.
I have to give Casa Mechanical a more than 5 star review. Sandy in the Round Rock office took VERY good care of me!!! Our AC went out and they couldn’t get me in for a week because of their work load. Well, Sandy was able to fit me in the next day because of logistics, so it works out great!! I have done a lot of business with Casa, and they do not disappoint!! Sandy will do what ever it takes to get the job done, and have the best customer service in the industry. I highly recommended Casa to everyone that needs HVAC and plumbing done!! They simply are the best, especially Sandy!!
Evan was referred to me by some friends that work at Trane. He was extremely detailed and thorough in his evaluation of our house before, during, and after everything was installed. The price was competitive based on 3 total bids that we received. Our house was a very complicated installation and they did a great job. His crew worked fast and our 4 new A/C units have been doing great. Highly recommend!
Ive been getting TERRIBLE SERVICE by Rick at Austin, weve been having so many issues since a month ago and he has not been able to even give us a reason why the AC is not working, he checks the AC and ends up saying theres nothing wrong with it. After several appointments he admitted its not working but refuses to give us a straight answer on what is the issue. The house is 80 degrees every single day ALL DAY and we cant keep having this problem anymore.
I bought my home in 2011, Casa Mechanical did the work on my AC and the system in the attic. When we bought the house we took for granted that everything was great until now. Over the course of 8 years our AC has been messing up, so we decided to get someone to come out and do a service and we found out our worst nightmare. The first problem was, the AC capacitor was the wrong one for the 3 ton unit required. The second part to the issue is that over three months of having replaced the capacitor we still had issues. They also did not put the required amount of refrigerant.Turns out the regulator valve was the wrong one for the outside unit, so the compressor had to work 4x as hard. The other is that the system in the attic was not compatible for the 3ton unit outside. The problem here is that with all the parts, labor, and work to get the old unit which i mind you is 8 years old, which should lasts for 15-20 years, it would be cheaper to buy a new system which cost us over 10 thousand dollars. Yes we got discounts and warranties. My advise is this company is not qualified to do the work that other companies can do the right way. I am really disappointed and angry with this company with the home we bought because of the lack of professionalism and work they had done on our home when they were contracted to do so. Many thoughts are running in my head on how i should handle this and time will tell. The company I went with for the replacement is AirCo mechanical. Do your research before you buy a house and find out who done the AC work. I do not recommend these people. Also the service warranty went out 5 years after the purchase of the home. It is a shame for a company to work under these conditions.
I wanted to leave this review because of how impressive and professional their technician, Baldo, who came to fix our AC, was today. Our AC was so loud it felt like air planes were taking off. Years ago, we had the same problem in another house and the technician who came took nearly 2 hours to fix it. Baldo magically did it in 10-15 minutes. I could not believe it. He even fixed our bathroom fan that was also really loud. In minutes. He was really nice and courteous and even pulled out shoe covers right when I was about to ask him if he had them. He sounded very knowledgable and super pleasant visit overall. Thank you so much Baldo and I fully recommend their service!
These folks are quite popular due to installing plumbing and HVAC systems for lots of new house builds, including mine several years ago. I used them a few times when I got the house, and never had a problem with their service. They were prompt and usually didnt have to pay anything due to being under warranty. As warranty expired, they were starting to seem pricey (and busy), I went elsewhere to other shops. Who have generally been far more responsive and cheaper. Although a recent issue left another highly rated HVAC guy a bit confused. So I waited a week for Casa to send somebody with a full day window. Or wait nearly 2 weeks. Given their familiarity with the plumbing, they were able to quickly identify the issue in a short amount of time. The technician was professional and did exactly what I needed. And ultimately, ended up being far less of an issue (and expense) than I expected. The downside of course is that they are still not cheap. They charge for the initial visit, then for each additional 15 minutes. So yeah, that can get expensive in a hurry. If you have something basic, like service and cleaning, there are other options you should check. But if something ends up being complicated or confuses your current technician, Casa is still worth a call. Just be prepared for a wait and potentially larger-than-expected bill.
New DR Horton home and warranty through Casa Mechanical. This will be the 4th time this company has come out.8Jun- House does not cool/remains 80degrees called for technician10Jun-Technician arrives and says faulty valve/part on back order/15 Jun latest to repair with temp part14Jun-Another technician arrives and says part in question is fine. System needs a diagnostic test. Will need to reschedule can take 4hrs. At least he serviced with Freon.20Jun-Technician from 10 Jun is contradicting last technician. Will do test anyway. Unhooked system and said he will be back tomorrow. My family and I have been in this “new home” sitting in 89 degrees inside. Deeply dissatisfied with this company. Would not recommend.
My first time ever dealing with replacing an AC in my condo, I got several different quotes from places and I finally had a friend recommend Casa to replace my AC. I called and talked to Gino on the phone, and sent him some pictures of my current system. Within minutes, he sent me a text back with a quote that beat every single quote I had gotten so far. A few days later the technician, Xavier showed up to my condo with another technician and changed out my whole system in less than a day. I highly recommend Casa if you run into AC issues, save yourself some time and just call to get a quote, they are awesome.
Aldo and his team mates were punctual, professional, and told me that he takes care of his customers as though it was his own home. I appreciate that. We had the full HVAC unit and Plenum replaced. They put down a painters tarp while working, cleaned up all the mess and gave instructions on how to maintain the unit and set the thermostat. The next day the gas water heater was not coming on. They had a worker going home that was able to stop by and turn on the pilot light. Thank -you! CASA Mechanical for taking care of the situations! The pricing was a great value over the competition with great service! It matters who you go with.
We called to have an assessment done on our AC unit because we sometimes have a strange smell that comes out of one of the vents, which smells electrical. The tech showed up and spent 20 minutes only to tell us that he has no idea what was wrong and that we should spray air freshener in the vent, and then charged us $129 for that astute advice. Will never use this company again.
I could not leave a better review if I had to. From start to finish Evan Young (our sales rep) made everything flawless. He came out quickly. Spent plenty of time going over our options and energy savings. I naturally had follow up questions. He was super timely in texting me or calling me back. Installation day came. Evan showed up that morning just before the crew. They showed up on time. Completed the job in exactly the time frame quoted (7 hours for both systems). The crew were excellent to deal with. There was NO mess left behind at all. This company gets an easy 5 stars from me. I am glad to have them doing my annual service and will continue to use them anytime I have an issue.
Look no further when needing quality plumbing services in your home! Casa showed up the day we had a drainage issue. They were prompt, quick to resolve the issue and had a great, friendly attitude. I really appreciate the explanation they provided on what might have happened and what to do in the future. Thanks for providing excellent service Casa!
CASA replaced both my HVAC units and couldnt be happier. Very responsive on an initial call to give an estimate on replacement, prices were way better than any other local contractor, and put me on schedule promptly to replace. Evan was great to work with and the install crew was very clean and courteous during the process. They did exactly what they said they would do and in the time frame given. I recommend already to friends and coworkers if need of ac service, call CASA!
Casa did the plumbing on our home when it was built in 2015, and came out several times during the warranty period. They were responsive and professional but just didnt do good work. Sink fixtures that came loose 3-4 times during the warranty period would get band-aids just to get them through the warranty period no matter how many times we complained. Shower heads that leaked and got replacement parts still leak. Here we are five years later and we have to get other plumbers to do jobs that Casa came out three times to fix.Im sure that these guys are fine for some jobs, but in hindsight we wish wed just gotten somebody else to begin with.
Casa was the contractor used by Milestone at Arbor Ridge in South Austin. There was a huge crack in my sewer that was found twice by the same plumber, the second time after my entire downstairs was flooded with sewage! All my expensive landscaping, my driveway and my front porch had to be ripped out because Casa did not repair the cracked sewer pipe when it was first found in 2014! I moved in in 2015 and in 2016 my house flooded! I had to replace all my furniture as well. Now in 2021, after they were forced to come back five years ago, the pipe failed again. The plumber said this is pre-existing and the repair that was made was faulty. I have spent over $3000 so far and it’s still in the process of being fixed! Roto Rooter said this is Casa’s fault!!! I am going to hire an attorney to sue them! I have gone through enormous anguish as have many of my neighbors because Casa does not care about integrity! Don’t use this company EVER!!!! Oh and when I called them the first time, they did not come for three days! Milestone had to force them to come. By that time all my downstairs walls and baseboards had to be ripped out, the carpet and baseboards in the office, the kitchen and bathroom cabinets too. They abandoned me and my two elementary aged children!
This is the second time we used Casa Mechanical to replace water heater, both were under warranty! The first time was no problem and the cost of labor was less than hundred dollars,, which was in 2019.. Last week they replaced my other water heater and it cost over $1000. I don’t understand the difference in price and no explanation from them. It took them less than an hour to do the work.
I got service from Donovan and I forgot the other guys name, but Donovan would know. They did an incredible job with identifying and patching a leak in my kitchen. They also went out of their way to fix something with my electrical tankless water heater. Thanks a lot for the help today guys, my home and pregnant wife finally have water again :-)
A/C went out last weekend, so we called Casa. The customer service rep was very friendly and got us scheduled right away. Dennis and his crew showed up on time and did a great job all the way through. Once the install was complete, they cleaned up and even put my attic stairs back better than they were before. Will definitely use Casa again.
Casa replaced the coil as it was covered by manufacturer warranty. I do see some sort of leakage as patch in underneath of attic where ac unit installed. There is no water line so that leakage from ac . I called casa and they dont cover anything even though they replaces coil last year not even one year. Since beginning i have trouble with ac unit and they never fixed in proper way. they always do some patch work to pass warranty and issue came back again and againWe bought new house but AC unit has issues since beginning specially Upstairs unit. during warranty they said it has leakage and few more issues but always tried doing banded rather than fixing root cause. We told that this is already documented and if you see issues even after warranty we will fix it without any charge but thats not the case. Technician visited at least 10 times so far and every then and there issues happen. More recently technician visited and i was told leakage again they need to replace coil. he came and not sure what he did and downstairs which was working fine stooped working. I was asked to pay two separate labor charge to take a look. Kind of service they provide is awful and im so frustrated.
As most negative reviews here, CASA was contracted to do our HVAC and plumbing in our new Lennar home. 2 year warranty for everything. Have had minor issues with plumbing that are not fixed or patched like others say, and even a yard leak with piping that cause ridiculous water bills for the next year to come due to winter averages.HVAC system has also had issues, and have had to reset the furnace myself several times when not turning on and was told they couldnt do anything unless it happens again.MOST RECENTLY, we were coming up on our 2 years in our new home and our HVAC was not cooling properly and blowing hot air before it cools eventually. CASA sent someone out, who ultimately said our freon levels were low and refilled our system. I asked shouldnt that not be happening with a system under 2 years? What would cause that? He said could just be a lemon like a car but did NOTHING to look for the actual issue.. my concern was our warranty is going out in a few weeks and wont be covered now. Wish I wouldnt pushed it more at the time.NOW 2 WEEKS LATER, our whole system fails, CASA says our warranty is up (by 6 days) and this is an unrelated issue so it isnt covered. Had another company come out and the entire circuit board failed on the unit in the attic.. going to cost us $350+ 6 days after our warranty... How convenient.Like others said... They dont address any real problems, just put on temporary fixes which screws you when your warranty is up. They should be taking care of this circuit board especially since I just had them out under 2 weeks ago, and at the LEAST should be coming back out to look for a leak since the freon was so low in a new unit and they did nothing to check for this when I called them out under warranty...
Great staff. I called them after a few days without hot water, and being price gouged by another plumber who wanted us to pay $375 to replace a warranty part.Casa scheduler was very friendly, and she transferred me to the parts guy so I could make sure they had the right part for my water heater before making the trip. The dispatcher was friendly and provided the information and assurance requested, and service was provided the day after I contacted them. I pre-drained the water heater to save them time and us money. The technician showed up, was courteous and got right to work. It took him around 15 minutes and ran around $86 for the work, a much cheaper price than the $375 the other company tried to squeeze us for.Thank you Casa!
We had a bad evaporator coil that was made by Lennox. We have a contract with Casa for twice a year maintenance check. I will make a very long story short (I’ll try)! Mr. Pringle made all of my absolutely infuriating experience with no a/c smooth as silk. He is an incredible manager and I can only hope that his employees appreciate him as much as I do. Also a shout out to Aaron at Casa. He was very kind and professional. The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars was because of another manager who was not professional named Tom. Thanks to the rest of the Casa team for stepping up and getting the job done!!!
Evan, Paul and the entire team done an excellent job installing our new AC system. They were very professional and went above and beyond and met every expectation and more. The variable speed Trane system they installed is awesome, keeps our home very comfortable and its extremely quite. They were also very competitively priced compared to the competition which made the entire experience even better. I would highly recommend Casa Mechanical.
I have used Casa for the past 2 years. They have always arrived promptly and fixed my water heaters quickly and efficiently. Yesterday my State Gas Hot Water Heater went out. Casa had replaced the brain of the unit in 60 days ago in August. I called Casa at 8:00 am and by 12:30 Mr. Talmage arrived to fix my problem. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely polite. In 20 minutes the part was replaced and I was back in business. Entire repair was under warranty. When a company responds this quickly to a warranty it speaks volumes as to their reputation. Needless to say I will continue to keep their phone number handy for future home repairs.
John with Casa, if a customer returns a call having not listened to your lovely message, it doesnt warrant rude, abrupt response from you. Customer Service will go a long way. Find another job if its troublesome receiving calls.I am currently waiting for my appointed plumber to arrive. Hopefully this person will be friendly, polite and professional.
I had a Casa technician come to my home to look at my a/c to see why its not working....The tech was slower than molasses..he walked like a turtle...This company charges by the hour....So it appeared he was obviously milking the clock...He kept going into the attic and back to the outside unit and then to his truck like 10 times, (I am not exaggerating)....and he kept telling me he didnt know what the problem was...This tech was either incompetent or they just wanted to charge me more money by taking their sweet time!!!! Not once did I see this guy get on his phone to try and get assistance...At the end of all this, he found a bad wire and repaired it...He admitted to me that he should have checked the wiring FIRST!!! After he was finished, he went to his truck and sat there for another 15 minutes...I did appreciate that he reduced some of his time on the invoice, because he knew he took longer than he should have. So for that reason I gave this company a 3 star.
Five stars out of five for Myron at Casa Mechanical. We had an emergency with the plumbing this morning. Within three hours from our call, Myron showed up. He spent over 90 minutes working diligently and making sure that the issue was addressed and that the problem solved. Myron is knowledgeable, professional, caring, and courteous. Two thumbs up for excellent customer service. The problem was addressed and resolved in a timely and professional manner.
Wonderful office personal. Special discount pricing if both ac and plumbing service agreements are purchased together. The service techs arrived as scheduled. The techs were very informative on the systems in my new home and did a complete checkup/inspection with everything. Thank you Casa for the wonderful services you provided.
The 3-man team that installed our new HVAC system at our house were pleasant, efficient and very professional. The cost for their work was by far the most reasonable for the work provided. We would highly recommend using Casa Mechanical to all of our friends whose AC systems will need to be replaced soon.
While my A/C is working great, the outside unit was very noisy. Response time to my request for service was immediate and the technician quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Casa Mechanical has proven to be very reliable with excellent customer service.
I had Casa Mechanical come out for a plumbing issue about a year ago after having another company come out. The original company was trying to charge me an outrageous amount for minor work. I called Casa Mechanical and told them the part that I needed. Their price was far less and they had someone out there same day. Once they got out there and looked at the issue they said I actually did not need the part. They made a minor adjustment and everything has been great since.Fast forward to current time. They just replaced some old faulty AC equipment in my attic. Again, excellent service, very prompt and professional at a competitive price. They are the only ones that I will call for HVAC and Plumbing work.
They always seem to be short a technician and need to reschedule a previously scheduled appointment. There is a minimum of over $200 in charges that will take place if you need something fixed because they do not carry extra parts in vehicles so they will more than likely need to do a second visit. I understand some people can pay that and be home for 2 weekdays from a window of 8am-5pm but as a young adult it is seriously inefficient and a terrible service to interact with
Casa Mechanical is contracted to do warranty work on our home. They have come four times in the last year to fix the same issue. The same tech comes to my home every time, and is always surly and unprofessional. On his last visit he told me that he wished they would just tear down my house. The same tech is in my home today (fixing the same problem as last time, the time before, and the time before that) and entered not wearing a mask. He gave me a surly response of Really dude?Their dispatch team is also extremely unreliable - i was called at 9:30am saying that the tech would arrive in 20 minutes. My appointment window was 8am to Noon. The tech arrived at 11:57am.
Evan (sales) did a great job with assisting me with my AC needs. Evan came over to install 2 wall AC units to keep me comfortable until they were able to install a new AC, which happened the following day. The team that installed AC (Paul, Mario and Wes) did an outstanding job - great communication through the whole process! Thank you Casa Mechanical!
We recently moved into a new home 6 months ago. We began smelling gas coming from our water heater one day and BRETT was on site in less than an hour. He was extrememely professional and attentive to the leak. Explained/showed where the gas leak in the supply line was. All fixed in 10 minutes! Highly recommend Casa Mechanical Services! Yall have a new customer for good :)
I had a pretty good experience. They beat everyone on the price of the unit by a lot. I got a new model and the technician didn’t wire it correctly the first time and then came back and fixed it. They ran a comms wire to fix an issue and never finished tac-ing it to the side of the house. I would definitely use them again.Updated: Casa Mechanical immediately followed up on my review and has fixed the loose wire and put into conduit. I am really glad they are a modern company that uses reviews to keep a pulse on their standings with customers.
We discovered an AC problem over the weekend at our daughters house. Contacted CASA, Aaron was straightforward with pricing both weekend and week day. Service engineer John, arrived and solved the problem. Both were extremely professional and really felt like they were trying to take care of the customer. We will continue with a maintenance contract.Highly recommend CASA and their staff!
This company installed the HVAC system in my new home. There was initially water in the pan upstairs on my walkthrough, they came by and said it was fixed but a month later I had water leaking through my ceiling, saturating my drywall, and splitting the paint. I found the problem and elevated a drain pan that was not visible at first glance. They came by, didnt check the system, and said my fix was sufficient even though I am by no means an expert. My super asked me to have them come out so I scheduled a time and they failed to come out. I called again to see why and they told me if there was no visible issue then they would not come out without charging me. So overall they were completely negligent and think that someone with no HVAC experience is suited to fix their incompetence and now I have to do a dry wall and paint repair. Customer service and technicians both TERRIBLE.
I just wanted to take a moment and shout out praises to Joe with customer service at Casa Mechanical. Our AC system quit working during 100+ degree weather outside which will sent us into desperation mode. I contacted our builder, Meritage Homes and after numerous attempts with them not responding I was extremely frustrated. Please do yourself a favor and run from Meritage, they dont and wont give a damn about you regardless of your problem. I found out that Casa had installed our AC system when our home was built so I called them and they connected me with Joe.Man, he has been a lifesaver and really helped us in this time of need. They came out when they said they would and did a fantastic job with the install. We really couldnt be happier with the. I highly recommend them.
Evan and his team with Casa Mechanical have done a thorough job of listening, educating, and installing our new A/C unit. No one wants to have to make such a large purchase; however, Casa Mechanical has worked hard to be sure to give us all A/C options without a high pressure sales job. After receiving a total of 4 bids from various vendors, we felt Evan was very honest and straight forward with his information and bids and brought out the best installation team to get the job done! We highly recommend Evan and Casa Mechanical.
We have used Casa Mechanical since 2012 in our previous house. Also purchased a new variable speed unit from them from the current house AC became more expensive to fix than we could tolerate. Love this current unit. We have the annual maintenance plan with Casa and their service personnel are professional and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone in the north Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown, Liberty Hill areas.
Casa is all about the money. Quick to charge, quick to collect, quick to tell you its never their fault, and even faster to pass the blame. 2 years in and out HVAC has broken 3 times, $1000 later and its still not resolved. But you gotta pay because thats their rule. Hopefully this last fix will last 10-15 years instead of 2 months.
Zero stars is what they deserve. Casa did both our plumbing and hvac on our new home. Our hvac has been a nightmare! We paid for an upgraded zoned Carrier system thinking we were getting premium functionality. All 3 of our new units were installed not working and had to be replaced, they wired our units incorrectly, gave us a bad capacitor and thermostat, and also busted a freon line in our wall which had to be cut out and repaired, all adding 3 extra months to close on our home because of their incompetence. Our a/c is still not fully functional! Our plumbing has been a pain as well. It’s still has issues. They say call the “customer service” person Joe Pringle but he also has been zero help! This company does not care if you are treated fairly and your systems work or not. Avoid at all costs and choose someone else.
Casa Mechanical installed two new split units in my home this month. I am very satisfied with the experience. Casa went above and beyond in the installation at my challenging location. Evan explained everything that would be needed and done for the installation and all went as described. His team was courteous, neat and skilled. A crane was required to lift the units to a flat roof and his crane operator was really careful. I appreciated the attention to detail provided by Casas installation crew, particularly when they had to redo the set-up in one units closet location, after removing the old unit. I will recommend Casa Mechanical to all my friends. Thank you Casa for the attention to the details, I am very pleased.
Evan and the team at Casa Mechanical did an outstanding job in helping us replace our existing HVAC systems. While the systems in our home were working fine, they were old and inefficient. We called various companies and landed on hiring Casa Mechanical. Evan was very knowledgeable in helping us identify the best system that would meet our budget, and increase the efficiency in our home. He answered all our questions very thoroughly and we decided to move forward. The crew was outstanding and professional and completed the job perfectly. The new systems in our home are delivering the quality of heating and cooling that was promised, with a significant reduction in our electrical bills. I contacted Evan afterwards for an additional rebate that was available, and he offered to complete the paperwork and submitted on my behalf. Casa Mechanical is a top notch company and I would highly recommend them! Thank you!
I used Casa Mechanical to come out and install a new hvac system in place of my 30+ year old unit. Also replaced some ducts in the attic. They did an amazing job and couldnt be happier! The unit cools the house very quickly and efficiently. The service was very friendly and very helpful in determining the best system for my house. The price was also terrific! I highly recommend this company.
I have had over 4 other companies come out to fix my homes humidity issues. No one could figure it out. Finally after reaching out to Casa, Vicki sent the most amazing tech to my house. Raul, came in and after a few mins and changing some things out home feels like new. I will definitely be using them again.
Evan with CASA Mechanical was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. He was on time to provide an estimate, quickly responding to many questions via text, and at final inspection of installation. The installers were great as well. It was an all day project. While they were here, they were polite, clean and thorough. The lead installer showed me the new system and went through the process of changing the filter and how to maintain clean condensation pipes. Highly recommend CASA Mechanical!
Excellent contractor, I asked them to install a vent (exhaust) for my microwave to take out all the gases, odors and fumes from the kitchen in order to avoid false fire alarms. The technicians did a great work, they are very professional and now I do not have any alarm problems. Casa mechanical is highly recommended for your house projects.
They installed water heaters in our house last year and everything was fine until the freeze in February. At that time one water heater burst and they have yet to help fix or replace our unit. It is almost May as I write this. Joe the manager will not return calls and they have been absolutely unresponsive
Called at 9 this morning to see if I could get some help with the AC that Casa installed in my home 6 years ago. I have them come out twice a year to ready the AC or Heat for the next season. They always give me a window of showing up. Have always been pleased with the response and workmanship. Today I was told it would be sometime this afternoon and that they would call when they were 30 minutes out. I understand having to be worked in. Called at 4:30 to be sure I was still on list - receptionist said yes and that they work after 5 also completing calls. It is now 7:29. I wonder just how long a technician will work, because its dark and seeing the unit and the freon gauge should be interesting. To say the least, I am very disappointed.Mr. David Garza just left after adding 3 lbs. of freon. We had gone to bed when the call (9:15PM) came in that the tech was on his way - couldnt say no because the house was heating up. I do appreciate Mr. Garzas work ethic - he said he always does every call he gets on the day he receives them. It is 10:20PM.
My 11 yr old Trane 2 stage HVAC with a 10 yr warranty failed and it was going to cost thousands to fix. So I called two HVAC companies for quotes on a new system. Casa Mechanical was the most competitive so I went with them. Evan Young, the Casa Mechanical rep, put me on the schedule. They showed up on time and installed the new system. The AC worked fine although it was tad noisier than the old system. I couple weeks later we had a cold spell so I turned on the new furnace but no heat?? So I called Evan and he suggest a quick check which I did. But still no heat. Within hours I had an repairman there who fixed the problem. Kudos to Evan Young for the way he responded.
Great job by the manager, Joe! You rock man! I sure wish you had a better customer service rep that made your job easier. The customer service rep that I spoke to today should be reprimanded for the way she talks to customers. I couldnt get a service call done because I spent a good 5 minutes listening to the rep try and correct me over and over. I told her lady I didnt call to argue I called to get some help. Im not sure how she still has a job there. My recommendation to the owner would be to record the calls so you can hear the way the customer service rep speaks to customers.
Casa Mechanical is an honest and trustworthy company. We had an issue where the mechanic thought he had fixed the problem and it turned out to be something else and they sent a tech back asap. I recommend their maintenance program because your AC/HVAC systems are evaluated each season and if you have a problem they get out to you very quickly- you become a priority in their scheduling. Excellent company!
My just built home Hvac was done by Casa.. and I am extremely disappointed! First cold spell last year my heat did not come on, after the service man came, he confessed that the fan CUT THE WIRING!!! So he just taped it up, and it started back up. Now today, when it’s 43 degrees, heat not working again... so I call, the service rep was extremely derisive and would not even try to get someone out today...I am a school teacher and essential worker, and can not take off, so she says soonest she has is Thursday , and could not put me for after 4... and no weekends! There was no effort, did not try and call a tech in my area to even see if it was possible. So non honoring of warranty, no possible flex or effort put into getting my heat on after their unit has history of issues, and workmanship that resulted in documentation of cut electrical wires..And if I wanted service call it’s 88 dollars for the first 15 minutes?!?! And 22$ every additional 15 minutes?!?!Seriously?!?! Beware!
Had Robert, plumbing representative out to do my home warranty repairs, fixed it all and even found something that wasnt caught by my independent inspector. Thanks for great, friendly professional service!
They came out because our house wouldnt get below 79. The guy came and it was obvious he was in a hurry. He said he put 3lbs of coolant and that we had a slow leak. Well need a pressure test but he didnt have time to do it. We waited over a week for them to come out and they didnt book time to actually fix it. We schedules the test and it would take over 2 weeks. We found a local guy who picked up the Warranty parts the next day and had our A/C working perfectly the next. I noticed his bill didnt show coolant. If we were leaking and thats why it wasnt cooling, why no coolant. He said we didnt have a leak and CASA just tried something to fix it. They actually overfilled our system. $300 to CASA to not fix our unit. $400 to the other company and not only was it fixed, he didnt maintenance . An hour after he was done our house was down to 72. Seems CASA wants to bleed you dry of money instead of sending someone who not only had time, but knew what they were doing. We will never use CASA again, unless we feel like throwing money away while our house gets hotter.
Casa Mechanical told me that our AC motor and expansion valve needs to be replaced and warranty cover the parts but I had to pay $1,050 for the parts and I was told that they would stop by and fix everything by August 21. Today is August 24 and no one stopped or called! What a horrible service and company! I called many times and asked the manager David to call me but no one every returned my calls!
Casa Mechanical was the HVAC installer for my new home build in San Antonio. Recently (5 years later), the main drain line clogged, but the secondary drain line failed to drain the drip pan. Period. I checked the end of the secondary drain line (by the front door) and there was zero moisture on the ground and the doormat was completely dry, despite water dripping down from my ceiling underneath the HVAC system. In the attic, I observed that not only did the drain pan appear to have a hole in it, since it was not actually overflowing and yet water was dripping steadily from my ceiling. Because of the excess water in the pan, I noticed that the drain pan was not anywhere near level and the sensor to shut off the AC for instances exactly like this was at the upper end of the tilted pan, rendering it effectively useless. The pan would have to be overflowing on the opposite end before water ever touched the sensor. I used a wet vac to withdraw moisture from the pan, about 2 gallons, and then unclog the primary line myself.I contacted Casa Mechanical on 6/22/2020 about the failed secondary drain line, pan tilt, and the worthless sensor. They gave me the number for David Trinidad, the manager down in San Antonio, TX, whom I called the same day and left a voicemail. I spoke with him two days later and described what I felt was a botched installation. He assured me he was going to have his office schedule an appointment. This was 6/24/2020. Considering the season and the pandemic, I decided to give them time. Its now 7/16/2020 and I have yet to receive a call from David or their main office. I called David today and informed him of my actions. The original agreement (with David) was that their techs would arrive, assess what happened, and determine if it was an issue with installation or if it may have been the result of another contractor on site post initial HVAC install. If the latter, there may be fees for repair, though Im inclined to argue that knowing that that is possible and not following up once all other contractors have finished is poor quality control. If it was determined to be an issue with installation, he would wave any fees.
Evan and his team were fantastic from start to finish. We had him come give us a full inspection of our system before summer hit. He was very thorough at inspecting all aspects that contribute to the cooling/heating of our home and took the time to explain to us how everything worked. Afterwards, he gave us 3 detailed options on what could be done to improve our system and their long term capability. We ended up replacing our system which was quick, painless, and an absolute deal. My family and I couldnt be happier!
Very unprofessional and borderline shady. Lennar chose these crooks to install the HVAC on my home in 2017. 2019 comes and the HVAC experiences a failure just outside of warranty. The warranty is contracted through ABC Contractors. Initially it was thought to be the heat pump, but later they came to find the Honeywell Ventilation System was improperly wired which caused multiple parts on the HVAC system to fail prematurely resulting in multiple return visits. This home currently has no heat and its 30*F outside. Casa refuses to own up to the wiring issues during installation stating that the HVAC system functioned for 2 years. In reality HVAC systems are supposed to last a minimum of 10 years trouble free short of a disaster. Most average about 20 years. Im heavily considering just speaking to an attorney over this.
This was a smooth and pain free process. Thanyou to Evan , Gus and his Team, and Casa for a job well done! How things went- Refered to Casa by a colleague as he had a pleasant experience also.Called Evan in the AM regarding my AC problem; he came by that same afternoon.I had already received a couple of quotes from other companies, so by now I am up to speed on what to expect.Evan gave me his estimate and it blew the others away.I have been given discounts and rebates from the other companies quotes but none could touch Casas. Seriously, it was so much better for the same exact parts. I was skeptical, at first.Anyways, We scheduled it and Gus and his team came out to do the job. They were courteous and mindful to our belongings; putting down sheets and plastic to protect our floor and furniture as needed. They were efficient as each took care of their individual parts of the install and came together for the joint work. They finished in the time Evan estimated and made sure we knew how to use the new equipment. They also showed us the old stuff that was being removed.Ultimately, the new AC is working flawlessly and I love the new wi-fi thermostats.I will update in about 6 months on whether everything is still going amoothly. Thanks again Casa for a great job
Casa Mechanical installed our system when we renovated our house in 2014. Joe Pringle was our salesperson - he was available personally for follow up, and any issues we had with the system have been handled professionally and quickly. The Casa techs are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Casa for any of your AC needs. GM
I am extremely disappointed with the plumbing department. I have been a customer with CASA since 2003 and their Plumbing department is not doing a very good job. I had an appointment for you to come out and, for the third time, try to fix my faucet in my master bathroom. The first time out they replaced the old cartridge with an incorrect cartridge. Then they put in the correct cartridge but it squeaks and according to the technician it needs to be replaced.I had an appointment on Friday 16 November between 12 to 4pm. I called at 3:50pm and got very detailed description of how the appointment window may extend beyond 4pm but was reassured that since I was on the schedule someone would be coming to my residence on Friday 16 November.I then got a phone call that night at 9:08pm informing me that there was an issue with another customer and that my appointment would be rescheduled for Monday 19 November and that I would be the first customer of the day.It is now midnight on 20 November and no one from CASA has contacted me about fixing my faucet. Simply awful customer service. I know have to get on the phone and call them and explain to someone what happened just to get some Im so sorry for your inconvenience line with no sincerity just to get you to come out and fix a simple issue that is now becoming a painful issue due to your incompetence.Just get me the right cartridge for my faucet and you never have to have my business again, I will just do it myself. I mean how hard is it to replace a cartridge on a delta faucet. Ive already paid for this and now I just want you to fix it correctly with the proper replacement part.As a customer for over 15 years, I want to let you know that your HVAC department in Round Rock is wonderful. Those guys always show up on time and do the right thing. Your Plumbing department in Round Rock is terrible. From the phone service to the technician it is terrible. They always have some excuse and they never complete the job correctly the first time.It is taking them 3 different time with 3 different technicians with 3 different appoint issues to still not fix my problem. I have already paid for the repair. I just want it done properly. And it is just not the faucet. They forgot to instal a cut off valve to the tankless water heater when they installed it and discovered the problem 6 months later when the technician came out to flush the system. It is a simple faucet fix. Just fix it. Why tell at 3:50 that your coming out just to call me at 9:08 to tell me your not. All for a service call between 12 and 4.Customer Service: CAN YOU DO THAT?
Worst plumbing service Ive ever dealt with. I bought a new home last year, and Casa did all the plumbing work. I received a one year full warranty with the home. Ive had Casa out multiple times to make repairs, and every time they come out they try to get out of making the repair or they do poor work. A while ago they came out and put a new toilet seat on. The one they put on was marred and scratch up, like it had been riding around in the back of a truck for a while...seriously? Now theyve come out to fix a toilet that continually runs, and theyre trying to say weve voided our warranty. These guys are total snakes, and I wouldnt trust them to do any work.
Casa Mechanical installed the A/C units for my home on behalf of the builder Standard Pacific Homes. Not only did they install the wrong size A/C unit but they wired my blower motor incorrectly and it would only run on low speed. This is a brand new home and the company does not stand behind their work. I would highly recommend finding another HVAC comapny. This company seems to think that a 1 1/2 ton A/C unit is enough to cool 1352 square feet properly. Every 400 square feet requires 1 ton. It would be nice for the company to stand behind their work.UpdateTom from Casa Mechanical came out to my home and went through my system. He is very professional and I am very pleased with how he approached everything. He is going to make some adjustments and hopefully the system will operate as designed.Thank you for the help!
Tech showed up , freon was low he refilled it. Then went in attic to check for leakes. Said a part needed replaced would be back tomarrow. My wife and I have been home all day waiting, for the phone call that hes on the way. We have called company twice now. It is 7:36 pm and still no tech!!!!I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you like waiting all day in a hot house for a tech.
Evans team did a fantastic job. The team showed up on time, were beyond efficient, installed a replacement air conditioning system in our home (on a record high temperature day) were tidy, courteous and at the end of the day, we had cold air. We could not have asked for a better installation. Thank you!
I’ve had Casa maintain an existing unit as well as completely replace an entire upstairs and downstairs unit. Their pricing is very competitive and they were even half as much as competition you hear on the radio on the full system install. They typically bill in 15 minute increments and that definitely works in the customers best interest.
My AC is not working the ac is not even a year old. I called the after hours line and the lady argued with me and basically told me they don’t do after hour calls so I would need to wait until tomorrow. And then she hung up on me. I am connected to a medical device I can’t leave my home to find somewhere to stay. It is reading 90 degrees in my house and you all won’t come out. Worse customer experience.
Moved to a new home 3 months ago, Casa had done the initial plumbing. Didnt seal the pipes well that caused leak in the attic.Tankless water heater broke during the freeze. Casa quoted $3200 for replacement! Part is about $900, so thats $2300 for labor, for a job that takes 25 mins?!. I had a certified plumber do it for $225.
I have had Casa Mechanical install a water softener, pressure regulator valve and had them out to troubleshoot a water leak in my house. I am also now using the maintenance program for flushing my tankless hot water heater. Every time they are shown up when they were supposed to and the techs were polite, professional and helpful. Based on all of my experiences they are now my go to company for any plumbing work I need done.
Terrible Service. We were stuck with Casa because our 2019 built house is under warranty, but weve since decided to pay out of pocket to avoid them coming near our HVAC system again. They replaced a faulty dampener they installed at build (the thing looked like it was hit by a bus - pretty shoddy workmanship to install something like that), and I dont know how they managed to bungle such a simple fix, but now when the AC kicks on, its SO LOUD that it drowns me out during phone calls. Loud like an idling truck engine, with a screeching sound behind it. Im so glad that now I get to sit in a house that currently 94 degrees (and rising!) so I can be heard on my work calls.Seriously, I dont know how they did that. If they didnt have a team available to do this very simple swap, they could have told me. I would have gladly paid out of pocket for the benefit of being able to run my AC during the day. In Texas. When its a million degrees.
CASA changed out our a/c unit this week. Evan did a great job helping us pick the right unit for our home. The crew arrived on time and completed the change out in the expected time frame. Over all a great experience for having to have our a/c changed out in 100 degree weather.
I had an AC and furnace put in my house. They came in the morning, worked through lunch and finished that day. Every one was so nice. My sales rep Evan was amazing. I will definitely use them again and I will refer Casa and Evan to my friends and family. Thank you Casa Mechanical!
Bought a new house and a couple months later I noticed several issues with the AC they installed. The unit in the attic developed a large leak, over 12 inches long. The insulation behind the filter was exsposed fiberglass, Im pretty sure thats unsafe. And the filter housing wasnt put in square so the door barely closes. The first time they came out they brought nothing and fixed nothing. The second time they came out they fixed the leak in the attic and said they knew nothing about the other issues. Then I contacted them a third time and I guess Im supposed to take a third day off from work since they arent open on weekends. Not very convenient. Im gussing theyre mostly worried about doing work for just big developers.
Brand new house with plumbing ISSUES all over it, countless times they have had to come out on warranty calls, there work is terrible and warranty repairs are worse. Most recent warranty return. For starters the tech was late, then he begins to ask of all other options that he could do to avoid him doing what he was scheduled to do. We replied with no. So as hes begins to cut the sheetrock out, he cut one the water lines and water spilled every wher because he did not shut water off first. After he goes turns off the water off, he realizes he does not have the correct part to fix the issue. So he has to leave and return again. He then began to fix the issue with a huge mess in the room and water all over the floor. I moved our washer outta the way so he could have room to work the day before, so he decides to use it as a work table and get appliances extremely dirty as well. Left out installation from the wall he cut out in a basket of clean clothes, left a huge mess, and was every unprofessional. I called the manager to explain what happened, be didnt seem to care much so I could see why his techs show this type of performance. The manager showed no type of consideration to my home, our appliances, or his tech doing such a terrible job. Will never use again and will not recommend for any one else to.
I bought a new home through Pulte... Casa Mechanical put the HVAC in my house. I have lived here less than 6 months and the A/C unit has quit cooling twice. I called the emergency services phone number and the lady who answers is completely rude and not very helpful. She tells me that they have no one available for after-hours help. This completely contradicts what the builder says. So they get a tech out the next day. He cant find anything wrong. He refills freon and it starts cooling again. Two weeks later it quits cooling. I call back. No one is available for 3 days. So I get to sweat in my brand new $300k home for 3 days. The lady is unsympathetic and actually hangs up on me. Horrible customer service from Casa. Do not do business with them.
Casa Mechanical recently installed a new HVAC system in our home. They came out and assessed our current system and made recommendations to improve the airflow throughout the home. They designed a new system that greatly improved the air circulation and cooling efficiency in our home. They are a great company to work with. Very professional, competitive pricing and a pleasure to do business with.R.WoodsThrall, TX
They installed our ac unit in our new home, it had to be serviced 3 times in 2 years. And when it finally broke down completely they told us they couldnt do anything about because it was out of warranty. So i guess they didnt even care to come out and look at it. Our home was at 83 degrees for 2 days. Went to another company, casa will NEVER get a dime from us. Terrible units, even worst customer service.
Our builder has contract with this company and we are still under the 2-year warranty so we have no choice but use CASA to fix a leak in the house. Our problem, we found water in the master bed downstairs. We think it is from the bath upstairs. On 5/22, a technician came out and claimed that there was no plumbing at the spot of the leak even though I told him the bathroom is right above us. He said I had to keep observing and call them if I see more leaks. On 5/24, another technician came out, cut 5 holes on the walls and it took him more than 1 hour to realize that he might need a camera. So he left and called another guy to bring a camera. After 2 hours, they finally found the source of leak but they then took off for the Memorial long weekend. And I had to reschedule. On 5/28, they put me on a full day schedule so I had to wait for them since they may come at anytime. Around 2:15pm, I got a 30-min notice call from the office saying that the technician is on the way. I waited for more than 1 hour no one came. I called the office and he told me the technician was on his way to get a camera and would take another 15-20 mins to get to my place (or around 3:30pm). I had to go to work at 4pm and figure he wont get the job done by then. So I had to reschedule for Friday, 5/31.On 5/30, a technician came out (I didnt schedule this). He took a look at the problem and tore the trim and said he needed a special tool. He told me I need to reschedule and he would put me in schedule for Monday morning. On 5/31, I called CASA to see if I am in for Monday. NOPE!! Im glad I checked. The whole experience with CASA is very frustrating and after 4 reschedules, nothing was fixed except for more damage. Very unprofessional!! The leak is from the bath tub upstairs meaning we cant use the bath until it is fixed.CASA technicians should keep record of their findings and put it into a system where every other technicians can see. This way, each time before a new technician comes out, they would already know what is going on. Then they can equipped themselves with the right tool and understanding of the problem!
The receptionist is rude, every time I’ve ever called, they were rude. The technician came out to my house to check the air & he states “I recommend installing ceiling fans,” the manager never return calls. They came out to fix my kitchen sink because they installed it poorly and they literally “rigged” it to stay. They half ass complete jobs. I absolutely hate my builder went through this company. I would rather pay someone to fix anything else that they are supposedly advertising themselves for than for them to come fix it!
Chance was very friendly, professional, and informative. He came out because my heat pump system wasnt keeping up with the cold. Turns out I just wasnt using it correctly (I shouldve been using emergency heat mode), and he took the time to not only explain how to use it to me, but also answered my questions about how it works in terms simple enough for me to understand.
We have replaced 2 commercial and 1 residential AC with Evan at Casa. Over the 3 units he has saved us $8900 compared to the next cheapest bid. Service has been great, equipment works well. Thanks for everything!
Evan and his crew were fantastic. He explained all the steps in getting 2 new units in our house and what to expect when install day came. Everything went smooth and I highly recommend using CASA and please reach out to Evan...you will not be disappointed.
The plumber from CASA Mechanical came out to my house after hours to fix an urgent problem. He was hard working, polite, and helpful. He correctly diagnosed the issue and worked tirelessly for 6 hours into the night to fix it. I recommend them.
Purchased a new home by DR Horton with HVAC and AC units and service provided by Casa Mechanical Services. At inspection, the brand NEW AC unit was tested and failed. The AC unit had to be replaced for closing. Now, during the recent cold front I switched the controls to Heat/furnace and the furnace failed / does not turn On. I called for service and had to wait over a week for a technician since I am only available until 1PM daily due to my work schedule. So today is my scheduled appointment that was set over a week ago and was supposed to have a technician here between 8 and Noon. It is now 12:40 and NO technician. Terrible service!!!
Anthony gave us great service today! Quick turn around, up front fair pricing and professional service; what more could you ask for?
Evan and CASA Mechanical did an outstanding job of replacing both of my 12 year old inefficient Carrier units with high efficiency Tranes. Our HVAC systems have never been as quiet and comfortable as with the Tranes. Evan presented options for 3 different major brands and included making our ducting more efficient. They have been running for 18 months with no issues. I am very pleased with the new systems and would recommend CASA for any home owner.
I live in the country and experienced a heater issue, I called Casa Mechanical with my issue. The service tech showed up as promised, diagnosed the problem, ordered the problem part, installed it promptly and I was soon back in business with heat on one of the coldest days of the year. Thanks again to the Casa Mechanical staff, from management to service techs. These guys are TOP NOTCH in my opinion!!!!!!Thanks again from David Hansson
Provided an Excellent Worry Free Prompt Service Call to rework an exposed wire that was causing short in main outside unit. Very Courteous and Friendly from the call back of the scheduler to the reminder call for their arrival time to the awesome technician that found the problem ! Have already recommended CASA to everyone I know! They CARE about your COMFORT !
We bought a new home in which Casa Mechanical installed the AC units. One of the units (the smaller of the two units) is extremely loud and it is very noticeable inside the home anytime the AC unit kicks on. Their service techs came out to inspect and even acknowledged that it was excessively loud. After a few months of following up with them they came back and said we could resolve the issue with the installation of buffers that would help muffle the sound, but it would cost me $300 to do it. For me it is not so much about the $300 but the fact that it would cost anything to resolve the issue with brand new systems that they installed . . . and the fact that they refused to stand behind their work.I have several rental properties and have used Lakeway Air Conditioning and Heating and have always been happy with their work, so I will be contacting them to see if they can clean up Casa Mechanical’s poor job that they won’t stand behind.
Excellent Residential HVAC System installation and quarterly service. We have used CASA Mechanical Services for nearly a decade (since April 2010) to service our residential HVAC on a semi-annual basis. The sustainment effort provided by their experienced maintenance technician focused on heating and cooling maintenance requirements depending on the period of year. More importantly, the effort resulted in a habitual relation and better understanding of upcoming costs. We had been expecting to replace our 13-year old HVAC system; but unlike many homeowners we completed the task on our time as a planned event. The relationship with CASA Mechanical Services: 1) resulted in an extended life of our HVAC system; 2) management of expectations on mechanical replacement needs; and 3) ultimately a reduced cost on replacing the Residential HVAC System. All of which was quality to the homeowner by the CASA’s front office, HVAC replacement technicians, and the service technician. Absolutely the way homeowners should be treated. Thank you, CASA Mechanical Services, for a job well done.
They do an ok job, Ive had them out a few times because our warranty is through them and every time, I have to take off work and wait for them to come at night. Its so frustrating to lose out on work because they cant get a better scheduling system. They need to give customers a 2 hour window of when they WILL be there so customers can still work in this hard time and not lose money. This company needs to reevaluate their scheduling. Now my evening plans are ruined too because Im still waiting at 6 pm when told they will come after 12pm.
They were fast and great. Hot water heater went out on Friday night and we called Sat morning and left a message for them to call us. They returned the call, had not one but both the parts needed and was at the house by noon. And they didnt charge us an arm and a leg, once they new we were under warranty they still came knowing we were not paying them. Great service!! Thank you so much Casa!!
The absolute best experience from start to finish! HVAC is such a stressful decision anyway. The crew at Casa, especially Evan and Lane, made it so easy. We could not be happier with our decision. I highly recommend Casa Mechanical for all your home service needs!
Our hot water heater went out due to a known bad part. Their tech guy, Brett, came out and fixed it. Whats more, he spent plenty of time instructing us how to relight the pilot light and tweaked a couple more items. Definitely 5-star service!
CASA provided great service at a reasonable price. When I first called CASA when my AC went out, they were booked up and could not guarantee they could get there that day so I called another company. The other company got there quickly but wanted an extremely high cost to do the work. I got back in touch with CASA and explained what was needed and they estimated and delivered a much more reasonable cost for the repair that was more in line with labor costs for the work required.
I bought a new home from Taylor Morrison who used Casa for HVAC. The upstairs unit went out 1 year in and they fixed it (labor+parts) under warranty. But now I have a leak in the same system and another major HVAC contractor said it looks like they did a poor job on the repair two years ago. The woman at Casa said their work is out of warranty. Thanks Casa. Brand new HVAC should be problem free for 8+ years. F-Followup: I got a 2nd opinion and yet ANOTHER major service shop said the same thing as the first we dont like to talk badly about others, but whoever did this install did a terrible job and the followup warranty work wasnt done to manufacture specifications.F- stay away from these guys.
Our A/C was not working properly. The unit was always running, but not cooling the house. Casa sent Paul and his team to my home. They were prompt, polite and efficient in fixing my A/C.
Seems to be a pattern in the reviews that the dispatch/ schedulers are rude and hard to work with. I agree.Still same issues with them. Needed service again but they refuse to send someone out and if you get someone else to come look at it, they claim to void the warranty that the builder purchased on the unit. Ridiculous customer service.
5 stars for Anthony! Very professional, courteous and accommodating!Jerome
CASA just installed a new Trane AC for me. Their crew was very professional and finished the install ahead of schedule. Evan made sure I had a temporary solution for my broken AC and communicated clearly about timing. CASA exceeded my expectations. Thank you!
Customer service is rude over the phone. It’s as if they are mad that you even called. The woman I spoke with claimed my A/C was working fine and that I was being unrealistic. Turns out my A/C unit was not working due to a damaged coil. I understand the wait time for ordering the new parts but what I don’t understand is why the customer service staff are consistently rude over the phone.
TJ the AC Representative came to my house today. He was extremely patient in answering all my questions. He took the time to explain the system, things that might be taking place with my system. Very professional, knowledgeable and patient. Your customer service skills are truly amazing! Thank you Sir!!!
First of all, I had the appointment from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and for emergency response my wife went out and the technician shows up at 10:02 AM and I talked to him and I told him that my wife in her way back a few minutes she will be home my wife arrived at 10:06 AM he was left already, I called to reschedule the appointment they told me that they will call him and find out if he could go back and they will call me back after more than two hours waiting I called them and find out that they scheduled me for the next day without calling me.Next day when the technician shows up he was very aggressive and he told my wife that you have to be thankful that he didnt charge us for the day before visit. KEEP IN MIND THAT THE SERVICE WAS TO CHANGE A GROUND BOX IN THE FRONT YARD IT MEANS THAT HE COULD START TO CHANGE IT UNTIL MY WIFE COMES. Also in the phone call they told me that the box for $25, but the technician charge us for $60 and when my wife told him that she will call to verify he told her that he will charge her for the delay and when we called to verify the box price they transfer the call to a manager he is not at his desk or with another call, anyhow my wife paid what he said, but I will not hire them again.zero stars terrible attitude.
Wanted to upgrade our kitchen sink, called up to casa and they were very helpful with finding us our perfect sink! Justin came out and were extremely efficient in installing our sink and it took no time at all!
My name is Steve L. I just had CASA replace my heater and air conditioner and blow attic insulation in. I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of there employees. I would recommend them to anyone. They did an A+ job.
We have only had wonderful experiences with Casa Mechanical. We just had our 22 year old Trane replaced with a new one and they gave us a great price and warranty. The guys did great work and were very fast!
The general public should be made aware that CASA Mechanical is allowing non permissive users to operate their vehicles. One such user was driving a CASA vehicle when he rear ended our clients and caused them serious bodily injury. As a result of this irresponsible behavior CASAs insurance company has refused to cover this accident leaving our clients to fend for themselves after serious injury. SUCH AN IRRESPONSIBLY RUN BUSINESS THAT HAS NO REGARD FOR PUBLIC SAFETY SHOULD NOT BE PATRONIZED. BE AWARE!
Reminder to business owner. If your employees are hauling butt through neighborhoods and/or city streets; they are representing your business. If they are disrespectful as driver; why would I want them anywhere near my business or home. San Antonio, TX, FM471 area around 2:30pm on 2/18. RAN a RED LIGHT as well. smh.
I bought a house with water pipeline installed by CASA Mechanical. The work they did is in very poor quality. There were two cases with water leaking within 7 years. First time it was less than two years after the house built, there were bad mold at shower area from master bathroom. It was a disaster repair with floor and wall open holes. Then less than 7 years there was a water leaking at the entry area where water pipe go to the house. The pipe cracked which caused by the incorrect installation. And they rejected the defect work to repair.
They installed our water heater, it failed 3 times in first one year. Now after an year once it failed, they are really asking ton of money. They did not fix it properly in the first year itself. I DO NOT recommend them at all. Moreover they take advantage of the situation
John Longoria came out, used protective gear, and kept his work areas clean. He explained my problem with air flow and vents and how to maintain upkeep. Also gave suggestions we will do for upgrades to our HVAC and was very friendly and professional. An asset to his employer.
Great experience. Evan gave me an excellent quote, and that was exactly the amount of the final invoice. The work was done on the day promised and the workmen did a great job. I had them replace my daughter’s a/c shortly afterward.
Evans team did a great job. They only way we knew they had been in our house when they were done is that we had ice cold air coming from our new AC units. Excellent service and unbeatable value.
I was very pleased with the efficiency and communication provide from the installers and Evan the sales rep. They were all very friendly and installed the unit the same day. I would highly recommend Casa Mechanical Services to friends and Family.
