I had a complete new AC and heating system replaced. It was time for that to happen. I kept putting it off due to the expense I was going to have to put out. I got several quotes from different outfits from this area. I went with Mikes AC & Heating. His price was reasonable and affordable for me.I made a wise decision . Mike finished the job in about 6 hours. He had to climb upstairs many times to get to the furnace. He never let up and never looked out of energy. He wasted no time throughout the day during the work.He took the time to stop and explain what he was doing. He was polite, patient, and friendly. I would hire him again.

Excellent work. Mike arrived on time…very professional and completed the work quickly. Very fair price. Went out of his way to save us money. Advised us against costly services that other vendors were trying to sell us.

I called a few different places and Mike was the only one who answered and could come out same day. He came out and addressed the issue quickly even with the limited information I was able to give. He charged a very fair price and was in and out in less than an hour. Very pleased with the service and Mike was a very nice guy as well.

I first called out Mike and 1431 AC in 2006 and have been using him ever since. Not only does he know how to get your systems to work right the first time, but he is extremely fair, honest, and reasonable with his service and pricing. Today, the air handler he replaced for me would have cost me several thousands more with another company. He only fixes what is needed. On a few occasions talked me out of spending more on items I thought I might need replaced and he told me it was not necessary. He could have easily made a lot more money, but since he shoots straight, he advised me otherwise. If you are looking for a straight shooter who is extremely fair and well priced, I cannot recommend anyone higher than 1431 AC and Mike.

Cant stress enough how awesome Mike is. Hes very patient and goes out of his way to help. Weve been using him for the past couple of years and hes done an awesome job every time.If you want a straight-shooter who knows his stuff and wont lead you astray, Mike is it. Even if hes busy and cant get to you right away, he is worth the wait; trust me!

Mike very worked hard, in extremely high temperatures outside, to analysis the issues with our Goodman AC unit. He didnt stop until both of our systems were pumping cold air again. We really appreciated his expertise and persistence when working on our systems and when he talked to the Goodman Company. We have been with him for almost three years and we would highly recommend him. Thanks for sweating it out for us so that we could stay cool!

Less than 2 years old central heating system stopped heating. I searched for reliable and reasonable technician. Called about 8-10 different places and finally decided to schedule time with Mike based on stellar reviews. He quoted most reasonable diagnosis cost.He was right on time, and within 15 minutes was able to detect the problem and fix it. He took his time to explain the issue and I could tell that he knows the AC & heating systems inside out.Hes very friendly and pleasant and you can just feel that hes an honest and upfront man. I highly recommend him and I would definitely call him for all AC & heating matters in future.[Updated]: I am updating the review based on the further experience. In less than 2 weeks after the repairs, the heater stopped working. My tenant followed the steps Mike had told but no fix. I called him multiple times. He finally responded on Dec 18th and went for repairs the next day. He called after the trip that he had thought about the problem quite a bit and only thing he could figure out was that the pipe for the gas flow was too restricted. He claimed that he widened the restricted pipe with the screw driver and now that should fix the problem. He then asked me to pay $30 for the trip. I politely said that it should be free because the repair didnt work the first time and problem returned in less than 2 weeks. He sarcastically said, oh well I guess anything to keep the customer happy and literally hung up on me. I found it quite unprofessional but decided not to do anything and even leave my 5-star review as is.The next day, the heater wasnt working again. I called Mike at least 5 times and left multiple messages. In one of the message, I asked very clearly that I wasnt asking him to check it out again but at least let me know if he could think of any other fix. He never responded!! That is not good service especially when you assured the customer at the time of taking the payment that you stand behind your work!I found another repair person from the furnace manufactures website (free plug: Felixs Heating and Cooling services, LLC). I called them on Dec 21st. On the day of repair, it took him literally 5 minutes to detect the real problem. One of the Flame roll out sensor was faulty. He by-passed sensor that day because he had to order the part from manufacturer and it was day before Christmas weekend, ordered the part from manufacturer (since it was under the warranty), went back to the property on Dec 27th and fixed the problem permanently. And his total charge was about the same as Mikes!I strongly resist writing bad reviews for business because I know how it could hurt them sometimes unjustly. But in that case, I had to bump off 3 starts; one star for not being able to find the problem in two trips despite claiming 26+ years of experience and two stars for not standing behind your work!

With this summer being 100+ every day. My original A/C unit of 27 years stopped working. I just wanted to cry thinking this was it I need to get a new unit. I was referred to Mike at 1431 A/C & Heating and that was my lucky day. He didnt take advantage of me by telling me I needed a new unit. Like 99% of other companies would have, knowing the age of my A/C. He was able to fix my A/C at a super reasonable price. He was fast, professional, and honest. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mike at 1431 A/C and Heating. BIG SHOUT OUT TO MIKE!!!

After three failed a/c repair attempts by the contractors provided by our home warranty company, we found Mike. He was extremely easy to reach and quick to return calls. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced our outside condenser unit and the evaporator coil. He also made the necessary changes in our attic to accommodate the new equipment. He even helped us negotiate with our warranty company!We couldnt be more satisfied with the experience we had with Mike.Bottom line:Mike installs superior equipment faster and better than the competitors.

Honesty, integrity, honor, experience, value. I use all of these words when I talk about Mike and his business, 1431 A/C & Heating. Why? Because Ive seen the ugly side of other a/c & heating companies. It is a service industry where you can quickly become a victim of a silver tongue.Mike is a straight shooter. If and when you call for help, you will talk to the guy that gets his hands dirty, not a secretary or a green apprentice without experience. He wont try to sell you something you dont need. He will educate you if necessary so that you understand current and possible situations. Also, the quality of his work has stood the test of time for my home and family.Today was another day I can add to my list of days that went from a train wreck kind of day to a good day. I called mike and he came same day, diagnosed the problem immediately, fixed it immediately, and gave a great price.100% pleased with his service!6 months later..Our upstairs furnace was not working.. I emailed Mike late at night, he called me early the next morning. Mike came by noon the next day, diagnosed the problem, and fixed the furnace!Great work, great price, both AC and heat!

Mikes a fantastic HVAC repair expert and just a great, honest guy. Hes very responsive, polite and does a great job. His prices are reasonable and beat out the bigger AC repair companies. Last May (2020) Mr. Mike replaced my 30-year HVAC system...quickly and with a system that works as well as of the top name brands and at a cost that my budget could handle. He was referred to me by friends who could not say enough good things about his service. Since then, Mr. Mike has twice come to the rescue of my daughter and son-in-law with their A/C issues. Most recently 2 days ago when the blower motor on their 4-year old unit stopped working and the house heat rose to 80 degrees. They had an uncomfortable night but as noted...Mr. Mike to the rescue!! My current AC unit was 15 years old and it was time for replacement before this summer hits. After considering the strain on A/C companies during the peak summer times and risking the chance of the old one going out, I requested bids for a replacement unit. After researching and review of competitive pricing and quality, we chose to go with 1431 A/C & Heating. Mike offered a great unit from Goodman and his service was genuine and of quality value. We had a plumber tell us our leak was AC related so Mike came out same day and spent over an hour looking for the source of our leak. He was super knowledgeable and helped us figure out where the water was coming from - AND since it wasn’t actually the AC and he couldn’t fix it, he didn’t charge us for the call! Amazing customer service, hard work, and quick response time!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Mike and 1431-183 AC. The first time I used them was about 12 years ago. I had just bought a foreclosure house and when it started warming up the AC didnt blow cold. The house was only a few years old at the time and I had another company come out and tell me I needed to replace the evaporator for $1500 (had a bad gut feeling I was about to get ripped off), so I said no thanks Im getting another opinion. I looked online and found Mike. He found that one of the fill valves was leaking pretty bad. He replaced it and recharged it and its still going strong. Today the compressor stopped working this morning and I figured it was gonna hurt...LOL.. given the age of the AC now. With the power outages in the area he said he had seen a few people in my area have the same thing happen from all the storms and power surges. Basically the compressor loosing power at just the right time so theyd overheat and not come back on. He had me shut everything down and run water over it to cool it the rest of the way off.... and Bingo.... were back in business. He is my go to for A/C issues no matter what, its refreshing to find someone that will actually give you an option of not dumping thousands of dollars when its really not required. ie.... hes honest and straight forward and wont give you the run around. I recommend him to all my neighbors.

Mike saved us from a miserable afternoon in this summer heat!! My family and I noticed our AC started blowing warm air inside the house this morning and by noon we were over 80 degrees inside! I had my ac quit on me a couple of days ago, but I had several parts of my system recently replaced so I figured it might be something I could fix myself. I called several different places just to ask questions to see if I could troubleshoot my issue over the phone. Finally I got someone that agreed to help me. He was extremely knowledgeable and was actually able to diagnose my issue over the phone and even told me how to fix it, he didnt even charge me for his service. The fact that he was able to diagnose my issue in 10 minutes over the phone is extremely impressive, I could only image how fast he would be if he actually came to my house. It turned out I had an ant problem. I have already told so many people about my experience and if anyone needs ac or heating repair you need this guy.
