Apple AC and Heat Services

The owner of Apple AC is right on top of his business. I got three bids on my new system AC/Heating and he was very competitive on his bid. I had a few questions and he was right there to respond right away! Since I had the system installed I had one small problem with drainage and they responded immediately! I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a new system!

Heater was “pulsing” instead of blowing steady. John was flexible in choosing a time, arrived and went straight to work. He’s more like a detective when it comes to HVAC. Found and solved our issue quickly and communicated what he was doing the whole way through. I’ll be calling him again for spring maintenance. Well done!

John and his crew did fantastic work in my home in Rockwall for both gas pipe extending and vent hood installation. They had reasonable prices and responded to my questions and concerns fast. We needed to do a slight change to our install after the fact and they also got that squared away immediately. I have always had fast response to my AC issues. Apple AC does my pre-season air conditioner check before hot weather sets in.My last problem was a condensation leak. I called and Apple was able to work me in the next day. The technician explained what was wrong, offered a permanent fix to the problem, and showed me how to maintain the condensation line.I’ve always received excellent service with very reasonable repair costs. I like that the technician always explains what’s wrong and doesnt try to charge for unneeded repairs.I highly recommend this company for fair, honest, and dependable service.

It may be that my experience was an aberration, and apart from Erik’s coming out to take a look at my HVAC issue, no work was ever done by this company for me. My experience was only that of a complete failure of John to initiate communication with me after our initial phone conversation following Erik’s visit, at which time John said he would visit with Erik to see when my work could be scheduled. After not hearing back from John for a week, I called him and was told that he needed to get with Erik. That was followed by another period of silence, after which I sent John a text, asking about getting scheduled. He received and read the text, but did not respond. After another week of *crickets* from John, I hired another company to do the job, and it was scheduled and completed within 2 days. I texted John to express my dissatisfaction at his pattern of silence with me. He explained that it was only he and Erik who were doing the work, and that they were very busy. I told him that that was no excuse for his failure to communicate with me - at least to let me know that they were busy and it would take some time to get it scheduled. He apologized, stating that “that is not the kind of person I am.” Bottom line: ask John up front if their current book of business is going to work a delay in getting your work scheduled.

These guys were great and thorough. They were the third company I had come out to look at an AC and electrical issue and did their due diligence and were able to fix the problem fully without draining my bank account. Highly recommend!!

Called Apple this morning about an overflow issue. They scheduled me for 1;00-2;00. They showed up a few minutes early, went to work to find the issue, found the issue,covered shoes/cleaned up after themselves and went on to service one unit with Freon. Great service.

They came out right away, diagnosed the problem and had the parts on their truck. Back up and running in about an hour. Will definitely call them next time!

Had my first maintenance service today with Apple A/C. John was extremely professional and courteous! The weather was a little chilly today so John gave me a decent heads up that we should postpone the appointment until til the weather warmed a bit in order to obtain the proper readings. Even though my system is functioning properly, I appreciate being informed on the specific readings and ranges my system is performing at. John earned a lifetime client today! After dealing with multiple companies prior all telling me different things I needed fixed and extremely pricey estimates. I was given John’s contact information by another trusted client. I called him this morning at 8am told him what was going on and he was at my house to diagnose my HVAC unit before noon and then back before 2pm with the parts I needed to fix my issue for install. He is extremely well versed in his industry and I can’t recommend his services enough!

My 25-year-old HVAC system required replacement, and after obtaining quotes from four AC companies for similar systems, in the end I selected Apple AC & Heat because the owner, John, was very straightforward from the beginning, and is local to the Rockwall area. Apple ACs bid was the most competitive, but price wasnt the only reason for my selection as a larger company eventually offered similar pricing. All of the other companies at first submitted fairly high estimates, only to reduce pricing after I asked questions or explained the limitations of my budget. John never did this, and after a thorough inspection we discussed options after which he quoted reasonable pricing from the beginning. He was flexible in scheduling installation and his technicians were professional and obviously careful in their work. All in all, what I thought would be a very difficult process was remarkably simple, and the new system is a great improvement. I will definitely call Apple AC in the future for all my HVAC needs and will be pleased to recommend to friends or family in need of HVAC service.

Apple A/C did a great job of diagnosing and fixing the issue with our A/C. The technician investigated multiple possible issues that could have been the problem and would have saved us money before determining the ultimate problem and fix. I sat with the technician while he worked on the unit and he explained everything he was looking at along the way. Erick went through extra effort to get the project finished as quickly as possible and was extremely respectful of our home. Apple will be our go to HVAC provider going forward.

John has lots of knowledge on hvac. I’m a property manager and two of my maintenance techs couldn’t figure out an issue on a couple of our units. When John John came out he figured it out quickly and got the units repaired and running for our residents! Didn’t have any issues after either! Quality work and happy residents is always priority in our business!

I have a non mechanical aptitude daughter living in Dallas who was in need of a replacemmnt ac/heating system. I live in Phoenix (retired Mechanical Engineer) so I Googled best heating/ac contractors in Dallas to begin the selection process. Apple AC and Heat was one of the 10 best listed on most of the best in Dallas sites. I called a number of those 10 recommended, providing them with an estimate of the furnace and ac sizes required and asked each to provide a ball park $ for the replacement including brand of equipment/technical specs. Apple (John I presume the owner of the business) was the only one that responded to my request within minutes of my call versus the tap dancing or shooting some over the top cost for the replacement by some of the others...mostly wanting to visit and discuss without providing some idea of cost (and in a couple of instances wanting a deposit for a visit and estimate).I read his reviews, which were all positive, so I asked him to visit my daughters home and firm up his quote. He did and his initial quote was within $200 of the final installed number (and much less than some of the others who did provide cya ball parks. His reviews (and being remote I spent considerable time reading reviews and comparing proposed equipment selections) and honest, direct responses to my request led me to select Apple. As per my daughter, install was quick and tidy and the install came with a 1 year labor warranty and 10 year equipment warranty. I am very satisfied thus far and after a number of phone conversations between my initial call and his final install, I have this warm fuzzy that John (and Apple) are as advertised by the site I used to review ac/heating contractors.

Trustworthy and QuickApple AC came to our house to replace a dated unit in our attic that was well beyond repair. Their team was able to quickly assess, source and install the new unit a day after our initial call. Unfortunately, later that evening we did notice water coming through in the ceiling. First off I had been going through an issue with my heating system that no one was able to figure out so far until I found this company. At first I was weary about calling a big company however I saw that this company has NO BAD REWIEWS AT ALL which was an awesome sign of SUCCESS. John came to my residence and resolved the problem in no time. He was patient and understanding when I told him about the issue and that it turns off randomly. This company is awesome. The tech that came out was named John, not only was he professional but was very knowledgeable. AC was out early morning, I gave them a call and John answered the phone 6 AM on a weekend! After only a 2 hour time frame John was already here and working. I ask a lot of questions and he was very informative and helpful. He showed me how to even unclog drain pipes and told me what to do to maintain my unit while he worked, including explaining how my system works and why we have increased humidity in the house recently. I have used Apple A/C and Heat Services twice now. Today’s occurrence my motor/blower in my unit inside went out. Each and every time Jon came through when I needed him same day and fixed the issue. I will continue to refer people to him.Everyone else that came out told me I needed to replace my inside unit the first time when I called Jon he told me that may not be the case and let him come and check out what was going on. The unit did not need to be replaced and he repaired what needed to be repaired. On one of the coldest days in Texas (snow and ice) John was one of few same day HVAC services available. He showed up super fast and went right to work. I really like to thanks John and Apple Air & Heating for outstanding service for the new HVAC installation. After several bids, John came up with reasonable and honest quote comparing to other . I had 25 year old unit that went out finally in this Texas heat. Most of the company weren’t able to schedule me until next week which I can’t wait in this heat( I guess busiest time for HVAC company). One my friend recommended John, I gave him call Thursday, came out same day to check the system and gave me quote. My outside unit was on two story condominium roof. All other company said they need to rent out crane ( 800$ additional + city permit cost)to lift the unit to the roof. But John made it to roof without having to rent out crane using human power which saved me additional cost and he was able install it on Saturday where as most companies I got quote weren’t willing to do on weekend. I truly recommend these guys for your HVAC need. Hope my feedback helps other people in need of service saves some money by calling them.

Woke up to AC not blowing cold and contacted John early in the morning, and told me he could make it later in the day. As promised, he arrived around 2pm and began diagnostics on the unit. I thought we needed more refrigerant or that we had a line leak, but he found the contact was bad on the outside unit. It took him about 10-15 minutes to install a new one, and he checked the refrigerant level and said it was still good and found no leaks outside or inside. Very professional and very knowledgable. John is life saver!! My furnace went out on one of the coldest days in the last 20 years in Texas. I messaged him that night and he was able to help me the next morning.
