Honea Air

I have used Honea for 10 years and they were ok for the first five years but after that they have gone downhill. They never caught my Freon leak in my old unit and I had to buy a new heat pump and they charged me $7000 for it which included installation. I have had this heat pump for a year and I kept telling them that my hot air was not blowing hot at all and they had at least three people come out and look at it and they said there was nothing wrong with it. I had to buy an oil heater to keep myself and my family warm this past winter. I called them one last time a week before my warranty was up and told them I wanted them to send their best guy out here and I wanted my heat pump to work when they left!!! They sent someone out different and he said my Freon was low and he proceeded to take care of it. For the first time in a year my heater was actually working properly! This company has gone downhill in the last few years because they are not hiring quality people. David is the owner and he is now 80 years old and only comes in a few hours in the morning and his son is running the show and maybe that’s the problem. His son Adam was extremely rude to me while I was trying to get my heat pump to work before my warranty went out. I am currently looking for a new AC company to service my heat pump because I have fired them!!! To anyone who is reading this, don’t use this company because you will regret it.

After 29 years of being a loyal, faithful customer for both home and business I have been forced to change vendors. For the second time Honea Air has been No Call No Show when my A/C went out. This week I was told “Mike will call you about when he will be out”. No call from anyone. I called Greenstar Heating and Air late Friday night and they came out first thing Saturday morning and fixed A/C with minimal cost. I highly recommend Greenstar and will never call Honea again.

AC went out at the worst time, call Honea and they got us running in no time with minimal cost. Prompt, honest, and got us cool in no time. Highly recommended!

Honea Air was the only quote that I received that was an honest assessment of the problem and offered a reasonable solution to my HVAC system. They didnt try to up-sale me on a new system. They saved me $$ and the install was efficient and professional.

Great experience. Helped me diagnose a problem with my heat and now my home is warm. They were also very informative.

Honea serviced my AC unit and stated that everything was working appropriately. 60 days later, the system failed again and Honea would not honor their work. Poor customer service and a lack of business intregrity. Certainly will never be calling them again.

Great knowledge. Respectful of your equipment, your property, and your time with absolutely no upselling. Found this company over 15 years ago. Wish I had found earlier because my bank account would be much happier.

I have done business with Honea Air for over 20 years and I have always been satisfied with their work. Pricing is reasonable and prompt service has always been of importance to me.

So, my fairly new a/c stopped blowing cold air suddenly one day and I thought it would be a quick fix as it usually is something minor. After 3 different techs checked it out and I discussed it with Adam they were sure that the return duct was pulling in attic air even though we couldnt see an opening. After some cramped attic crawling I found the separated duct, taped it back together and all is good. It had us all baffled for a while because it was well hidden and everything was checking out.All of the guys were diligent and eager to find the problem. I was especially relieved when I told Adam I thought it wasnt fixable and he said its definitely fixable and he would stay on it until it was working properly even if he had to bring a manufacturer rep out there.Good old fashioned small town service? I reckon were blessed with that but this is how theyve always helped me with my a/c issues for 18 years now.

At 3:30 on Friday afternoon my AC stopped working. I called Honea Air and they sent a repairman out. AC was up and running before 5:30. I had had this level of service from them for over 8 years.

My family has used Honea for 30 years or more. David and his team are the best and most trustworthy.

Reasonable pricing and very prompt. Didnt try to upsale or BS me. They understand a customers money is important. Honest about what is truly needed and what is not.

Done work for me 3x. Quick, on time and always great prices. Never try to upsell you which is rare in the HVAC world.

Every time someone comes out it isnt about upgrading or trying to get me to spend thousands of dollars. They are HONEST, and you dont see that anymore. Fix whats broken and nothing more.
