Jim Matthews and Tony are so knowledgeable and professional. They keep my AC and furnace well maintained which is peace of mind here in the crazy Texas weather. I had a concern about our AC and Jim sent Tony out to take a look. He fully inspected everything and gave us a thorough explanation. Everything was ok thankfully. I’ve been using Choice Heating & Air for over 20 years. Every technician that has ever been to my home has been knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. They are always honest, responsive, and reasonably priced. The office staff is great, too. Jeremy did a repair recently and was wonderful. After he finished the repair, he replaced 2 fluorescent bulbs in my kitchen. I had been in semi-darkness for 3 months. What a blessing he was! Thanks, Choice!

Choice Heating and Air did a fantastic job servicing our units! When it was detected a part on our aged unit was about to go they were able to find a replacement part in a few days. Tony was able to come out and install it. Tony and Jim are always friendly and helpful. It is great to be able to venture into summer concern free for our a/c reliability.

Thanks to Tim and Jim, Choice Heating and Air. My upstairs unit had been on the decline for the last year or so. During the A/C check-up it was determined I needed a new coil(at least). Jim gave me two options to fix the problem. They came out yesterday and installed new coil and new condenser. First time in years when I set it at 74, it stays at 74. Thanks Choice Heating and Air.

My AC stopped Sunday night so called Choice Mon morning at 8 am. J was there, as promised, at 10:30. They had to locate a replacement motor, go get it, return, & install it. Choice staff kept me up-to-date as the process unfolded, even when J was headed back my way. I had an operating AC by late afternoon. The final cost was reasonable & matched the original estimate. I’ve been a Choice customer for years because they do excellent work efficiently & honestly. The office staff & technicians are just first class. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for heating & AC work.

We have used Choice Heating for over two years now. Today, Tim, came out for a check-up service. Not knowing in advance how old my unit was (it’s 18 years old...truth) he never once attempted to tell me I needed a new unit or needed extra repairs etc. He was great and professional. I called before they were open because our drain pain was clogged and was leaking into our house. They called me as soon as they opened and were able to send a tech out only a hour later. Tony was on time, very professional and did a great job. Talked me through the whole process and how much everything was going to be. Even showed me how to keep it from happening again. Will 100% recommend them to everyone I know and will call them anytime we need them.

I had previously used Choice and they did an excellent job, so when my a/c went out a week ago, I called them. First negative was they are closed on weekends. The other was they never answered their phone on Monday morning. I finally contacted another business and they gave me excellent same day service. Sorry, Choice, youve lost my business.

7 years later and more money down the drain because of the terrible work of Choice. Jim is getting a bad reputation with his competitors who have to come behind him and fix his problems. And the problems every summer is a known problem with the system he chose. Ive since learned they were charging a service charge just to flip a switch they could have informed me of over the phone that was caused by Jim backing out if his agreement to add another air return. Truly, you should use another company, not this unethical lout.About 3 years ago I got the works from these guys; whole new system, new ducts, new insulation, ect. We had problems right away and they had to come nearly a dozen times. My wife wanted the system out but I worked with them. Big mistake. They had to rig it up some weird way but ultimately we have to do without AC for a few weeks EVERY summer since. I was concerned by the end of that second summer because my install warranty would be up even thought the latest fix just happened, but was assured theyd make it right. Oh, they are more that happy to charge me service charge every time they make it right. Most recently a leak caused damage to the ceiling near the unit...YEP, they didnt glue one side of the main elbow on the drain line. They have been up there a few dozen times and never noticed it. Been leaking a long while but took time to show below. More money down the drain because of Choice Heating and Air. And the owner was heard making disparaging comments about the cleanliness of our home...we were potty training a 2 year old and had several other reno plans working at the same time. Poor at their job AND classy. Run, dont walk away from these guys.

Showed up on time. After 5 mins told me it was a transformer. Said it was $249.00 for part. I told Tony you are hijacking me. Looked up part on line and it was less than $ 14.00 with tax. Needless to say I paid the 99.00 service call and sent him on his way. I do not recommend Choice Heating and Air.
